Guests can celebrate National Gingerbread Day Nov. 21 by visiting whimsical custom creations LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (Nov. 20, 2018) – Wide-eyed wonderment will wash over Disney guests this holiday season when they see gingerbread displays at select Disney theme parks and Disney resort hotels, as well as the ships of Disney Cruise Line. So magical is the aroma of gingerbread at holiday-time that National Gingerbread Day is celebrated Wednesday, Nov. 21. In the spirit of the season, Disney chefs decked the halls (roofs, doorways and windows, too) to create life-sized, gingerbread houses yummy enough to eat. Here’s a look at storybook houses, carousels and other confections baked with love by Disney chefs, with savory sweets for sale in most locations: Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa – This year marks the 20th anniversary of this resort hotel’s gingerbread house. A classic recipe from Austria inspires the ornaments, cookies and a house standing 14 feet tall in the lobby. Home to The Bake Shop, the gingerbread house is the perfect place to pick up holiday treats. Gingerbread house decorating demonstrations occur daily Dec. 1-25. Disney’s Contemporary Resort – Cinderella Castle is re-created with an “it’s a small world” backdrop depicting Cinderella and Prince Charming greeting guests in the castle forecourt. The 18-foot display is crafted from thousands of gingerbread blocks. A life-sized spinning carousel highlights the display. Disney’s Beach Club Resort – Donald Duck- and Daisy Duck-themed horses are decorated with chocolate, sugar and fondant in this scrumptious classic carousel. Disney’s BoardWalk Resort – A delightful gingerbread version of the resort’s BoardWalk features iconic locales such as BoardWalk Bakery, Flying Fish, Trattoria al Forno and more. The American Adventure – Patriotic flair meets pastry magic at Epcot, where gingerbread renditions of the U.S. Capitol, Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument (topped with golden Mickey ears!) are on display Amorette’s Patisserie – This sophisticated pastry shop at Disney Springs dresses up its front window with a miniature gingerbread replica of itself – right down to the gingerbread trees! The Haunted Mansion – Disneyland Resort turns to Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” to create a wonderfully spooky gingerbread display inside this classic attraction. A giant spider with glowing eyes hangs over the Grand Hall Table, attempting to pry the edible gingerbread mansion from its foundation as gingerbread zombies watch in amazement. Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa – Disney artists, engineers and bakers teamed up on a gingerbread house that adds to the resort hotel’s festive lobby. With over 600 pounds of gingerbread and adorned with Hidden Mickeys, this grandly Californian gingerbread house is on display all season long. Disney Cruise Line – Aboard the four Disney Cruise Line ships, the chef competition is on! Bakery teams are challenged to create their own individual gingerbread houses for display throughout the holiday season in the atrium lobby of each ship. Taking weeks to conceptualize and construct, each features more than 600 pounds of gingerbread dough, 200-plus pounds of sugar and 5,000 gingerbread bricks. Aulani – A Disney Resort & Spa in Hawaii gets its gingerbread on with “A Kakamora Holiday.” This festive display includes a chocolate tree, a Moana-inspired gingerbread hut, chocolate sleigh and merrymaking Kakamoras celebrating with a tropical twist. We’re days away from Thanksgiving and the weather is (finally) starting to cool down – cue the holidays at Disney Springs! This year, there’s even more fun in store … from a limited-time MAC Cosmetics extravaganza to a larger-than-ever Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail, there’s something for everyone. Check out some of the now-happening highlights below: MAC Shiny Pretty Things: Step into a world of kaleidoscope color now through November 25 as MAC Cosmetics celebrates the launch of their newest collection featuring metallic colors to illuminate your sparkle. The Disney Springs event is their largest event of the year! Enjoy an over-the-top stage show and a complimentary make-up application with top MAC artists. The fun takes place daily from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m. with intermittent performances from 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. at Waterview Park, located next to Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar. Walk-ups are welcome and appointments can be made in advance at events.maccosmetics.com. Having seen an early preview of the show, I can attest that you’ll be impressed! Click here to learn more. The Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail: With over 25 custom-decorated trees inspired by beloved Disney classics, this is a winter wonderland you won’t want to miss. Falling snow, holiday music and new food and beverage offerings available for purchase – including frozen hot chocolate and specialty cotton candy – make the experience even more magical. Five new trees have been added this season, so if you’re a fan of “Toy Story,” Haunted Mansion, Star Wars, Disney Springs or the four Walt Disney World Theme Parks, you’ll be delighted with the additions. (All the trees are simply incredible, but the new Haunted Mansion-inspired tree? Wow!) Come with a fully charged camera or smart phone because chances are, you’ll want to snap a lot of photos! The Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail is located in the Marketplace across from Once Upon a Toy and is open daily through January 6 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Santa’s Chalet: The jolly old elf himself is back at Disney Springs. You can meet him daily through December 24 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at Santa’s Chalet, located within the Disney Springs Tree Trail. Just like last year, you’ll be able to check in at the podium, provide your mobile number to one of Santa’s helpers, and get a text message when it’s your turn to take your place in line. Of course, Disney PhotoPass photographers will be on hand to capture the moment (and yes, the photos are included in any active Memory Maker packages) but Santa will happily smile for selfies, too! Spectacular Holiday Shopping: Rivaling Santa’s workshop, the newly reimagined Word of Disney store is a gift-givers’ dream-come-true. Find gifts galore for everyone on your list, with finds ranging from new Mickey Mouse Club apparel and accessories to an entire line of holiday-inspired surprises that give a playful nod to some of your favorite Disney characters. Get in on the latest holiday trends with matching family PJs and classic “ugly” sweaters, all with a Disney twist. With Black Friday quickly approaching, get ready for new product releases that include a new princess wardrobe dress set complete with accessories and four princess-perfect costumes (November 22; World of Disney store), the debut of the Disney Dogs Dooney & Bourke Collection, with a matching dress from The Dress Shop at Cherry Tree Lane (November 23; Marketplace Co-Op), and an Alex and Ani Rose Gold Filigree Bracelet (November 24; Ever After Jewelry Co. & Accessories). Many stores open as early as 8 a.m. on Black Friday; be sure to pick up a Disney Springs Black Friday Holiday Shopping Guide all weekend long for additional details on special offers and product launches. Need some fuel for your day of festive fun? Starting on Black Friday and through January 1, 2019, D-Luxe Burger will be serving breakfast daily from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. With breakfast sandwiches and burgers, crispy chicken biscuit, egg white frittata sandwich, Greek yogurt parfait and more on the menu, it’s the perfect excuse to get an early start. Coffee, juices and shakes will also be offered, as will their fresh cut fries. With special décor and entertainment throughout property, fun activations like Stitch’s Holiday Gift Hunt, and some seriously yummy seasonal treats, the holidays are my favorite time of year at Disney Springs! Visit soon to enjoy new traditions with the ones you love most and I think you’ll agree that Disney Springs is the place to be. Happy holidays, everyone!!! View the full article

Sip, sip, hooray! Stephen Twining from Twinings of London will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort this Thanksgiving weekend, November 21-24. As a tenth-generation member of the famous tea family, Stephen joined Twinings in 1985 and now serves as Director of Corporate Relations for Twinings of London. As a special treat for Disney Parks guests, Stephen will be available to meet with tea enthusiasts and sign merchandise at The Tea Caddy shop at the United Kingdom Pavilion in Epcot. Stop by to hand-pick your own collection of Twinings Tea and meet and greet with Stephen Twining! At The Tea Caddy, guests can purchase a wooden, single-slot Twinings tea box to fill with ten individual tea bags. Imagine creating your very own, personalized “tea-caddy,” and having it autographed by Stephen Twining! The shop also carries twelve blends from the Walt Disney World exclusive Discovery Collection. You can choose among Pure Sencha Green Tea, Two Seasons Darjeeling, Medley of Mint, or Budding Meadow Camomile. Each box contains 15 large-leaf tea bags and can only be found at the Tea Caddy shop. Even though it’s still warm and balmy here in Florida, it’s easy to get in the holiday spirit with the various flavors of Twinings Holiday Teas. Just the smell of the sweet apple and spicy cinnamon notes in the Winter Spice tea make me feel like I’m back home in New York sitting in front of the fireplace while the snow falls outside. If all of this sounds like your cup of tea, be sure to check out a brand new offering at Walt Disney World Resort, the Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room Tea Experience. Explore new Twinings tea flavors, learn about the art of tea pairing and indulge in scones, sandwiches and other tea-time treats. What’s not to love?! View the full article

We welcome back Wolfgang Puck to Disney Springs, with the new Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill! Learn About: Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill Downtown Disney Disney World Restaurants Of course, Chef Wolfgang Puck is no stranger to Disney Springs. In fact, he’s retained a presence here with his Marketplace Counter Service location, Wolfgang Puck Express, while preparing to open this latest venture. But we still say, “Welcome Back” as the new Bar & Grill brings a Wolfgang Puck Table Service location back to Disney Springs since the Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe and Dining Room closed in August 2017. (The former Cafe location will soon be home to Jaleo by Chef José Andrés.) So we’re very excited to be at Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill to experience once again the Chef’s California cuisine… with some twists from Wolfgang Puck himself — on its opening day TODAY! Let’s start by taking a look at the new location… Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill Atmosphere Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill can be found in the Town Center of Disney Springs, in between the Town Center’s indoor shopping stretch and the Coca-Cola Store and Rooftop Bar. Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill The difference from the previous Wolfgang Puck Cafe is immediately striking. Obviously, the location itself is different, but I’m more referring the the modern, fresh feel of the building itself lined with windows and outdoor seating as you approach. Outside Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill Let’s just say the previous Cafe wasn’t known for its “modern day appeal.” (You can see the Cafe here.) But the Bar & Grill has an entirely new feel and identity! Stepping inside, pops of red immediately stand out against more neutral tones. Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill interior Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill interior Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill Bar Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill Booth Seating And in regards to seating, there is space to host large groups in addition to what you see above. Large Group Table Even with the clean and simple choice of colors, there is plenty to lend visual interest to the location, from exposed wood beams to cool light fixtures which provide more ambience even against the sunlight coming in from the plentiful windows. Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill interior Light Fixtures Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill interior Black and white portraits add personal touches to the dining room. Portraits Portraits And some put the emphasis on fresh ingredients. Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill decor But other things that certainly draw the eye — an whet the appetite! — are the open kitchens in the space! The pizza kitchen is to your left upon entering. Open Kitchen Check out the oven, all fired up and ready to go! Pizza Kitchen The main open kitchen is in the back of the restaurant if you would like to see the goings on. Kitchen in Back of Restaurant And then, there’s the GELATO BAR!!! It’s combined with the bakery area, and you’ll see it to the right as you walk in. But you’ll be able to access it from the outside… because it’s a WALK-UP WINDOW! Gelato Bar and Bakery area No Advance Dining Reservation needed! And there’s no more need to wait for us to dig right in! Eats The menu for Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill has likewise received a fresh makeover while retaining some classic favorites. And while you may think the selections might be limited under the simple heading of “California cuisine,” nothing could be further from the truth, as there is plenty of variety tucked into the menu. Lunch Menu We dined during lunch (served from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM), so that’s the menu we’ll break down here. (Just click any of the images to enlarge.) Starters can be enjoyed in two ways: with options To Share for the Whole Table and individual Appetizers and Salads including Grilled Tandoori Chicken Wings and Tempura Calamari & Shrimp. To Share for the Whole Table Appetizers and Salads Of course, Pizza is on the Lunch menu, while Sandwiches include a Shaved Beef Panini and Porchetta. Pizza and Sandwiches Pasta selections feature Pumpkin Ravioli and a Seafood Risotto. Pasta Entrees for lunch include the WP Burger and Chicken Schnitzel. And we definitely had our eyes on the Mesquite Grilled Steak Frites. Entrees A la carte sides include Potato Puree and Broccolini. Sides Again, our visit was for lunch, but Dinner will also feature a selection of Platters including a 32-oz Porterhouse Steak for Two, Porchetta, Chicken Schnitzel, and an Olive Oil-Seared Red Snapper. Children can choose from Cheeseburgers, Pizza, Grilled Cheese, and the like. There are also more unique options like Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf for the kiddos. Aside from an abundance of Hand Crafted Cocktails, the Artisanal, Draft, and Craft Beers present some domestic options from Florida and California (among other states and Imports), which is fun considering the Chef’s California cuisine and longtime history with his locations here in Florida. Drink Menu (Click to enlarge) AJ — I missed asking about these drinks — sorry about that! Hand Crafted Cocktails We chose the Artisanal Salumi from the Shareable options to begin our meal. The meats across the board were plentiful and flavorful. But I found the cheese selection and portion to be lacking. Artisanal Salumi And while you know I love my cheese and almost never met a cheese plate I didn’t like, I’m sure by looking at the photo you’ll see that its not just my cheese-bias doing the talking. There just wasn’t enough to it. Fortunately, things really started looking up with our individual Appetizers, which included the Tempura Calamari and Shrimp. Tempura Calamari and Shrimp True, it’s kind of hard to mess up Calamari. But I have to give credit where its due for the really terrific breading on the dish, with the tempura nice and crisp all around. Tempura Calamari and Shrimp We also ordered the Local Burrata (a soft Italian cheese). Here it’s presented with baby carrots, a romesco sauce, arugula, and walnuts. Local Burrata This was truly excellent, with the incredibly creamy cheese making up for what was lacking on the Salumi board, the peppery romesco puree adding plenty of zest, and the crunch from the walnuts offering some texture variation. Highly recommended! We couldn’t go without ordering a pizza at a Wolfgang Puck restaurant, opting for the Pepperoni Pizza, further topped with red onion and fresno chiles. Pepperoni Pizza Unfortunately, this one was pretty forgettable. While I enjoy the pizzas you can get at Wolfgang Puck Express, this wasn’t much different and ultimate didn’t stand up against the rest of the dishes. So, if you’re hankering for some Puck pizza, I’d say grab some in the Marketplace. The Pasta, on the other hand? Well, we’ve got two to share with you. The Pumpkin Ravioli is accompanied by brown butter, sage, and hazelnuts (an interesting choice over pumpkin seeds) for an autumnal dish. Pumpkin Ravioli And the Pappardelle is topped with a rich bolognese meat sauce and ricotta salata. Honestly, both of these pasta dishes can hold their own against several Disney restaurants that specialize in Italian cuisine. We had the chance to speak with the Chef — who comes to the Disney Springs location from one of Chef Puck’s Las Vegas restaurants and has been working with him since 1999 — about what made the pasta so memorable. Pasta He shared that it was the focus on local sourcing of ingredients; in particular, he found a really good local egg farm, and it’s the fresh, healthy yokes that lend that yellow hue to the noodles. From the Sandwiches, I chose to try the Grilled Chicken Sandwich… which, I know, sounds pretty ho-hum. Grilled Chicken Sandwich But, let me tell you, that was NOT the case at all! Topped with avocado, bacon, white cheddar cheese, tomato, red onion, and pesto aioli, this thing was packed with flavor. Grilled Chicken Sandwich It’s hard to believe I’m saying this about a simple chicken sandwich, but those fresh toppings over the tender and slightly charred chicken (and bun, even!) left me impressed. Grilled Chicken Sandwich Speaking of impressed (Spoiler Alert!)… here’s a look at the Mesquite Grilled NY Strip Steak Frites. Mesquite Grilled NY Strip Steak Frites Charred on the outside and medium rare, the strip steak — which is served with a green peppercorn sauce — rivals some that I’ve had at proper steakhouses in Disney World. Awesome. So, even though there were a couple of lowlights, there were definitely more highlights overall in regards to food. I will say that the service was… well, just okay. It was acceptable, but I do think the staff is working out some early opening kinks and I’ll be curious to see how things change on future visits. And now, let’s step outside for a little dessert! Because, as mentioned above, the Gelato Bar and Baked Goods are served at a walk-up window. Gelato Bar Menu And while it’s become fairly standard for the newer Disney Springs restaurants to provide some sort of Quick Service component alongside their table service restaurant, I think the Gelato Bar and Bakery at Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill may draw more lines that most, for more than a few reasons. First, the Gelato selection itself serves up fun flavors like Butter Pecan Panna Cotta and Dark Cherry Chocolate Chunk. Gelato Bar You receive one topping per cup, but can add others for 75 cents with options including sugar cone pieces, toasted almonds, and sprinkles. Toppings But you want to know my favorite thing at the Gelato Bar? Check out the “For the Adults” menu below. Drink Menu at Gelato Bar You’ll see four cocktails made with sorbet or gelato, like the House-made Limoncello with lemon sorbet, and the Monchito made with coconut gelato, Myer’s dark rum, and pineapple. My choice? The Mortimer’s Key Lime Sorbet Margarita with tequila and triple sec! Key Lime Sorbet Margarita Oh, my… THIS. IS. INCREDIBLE. Sweet, tart, fruity, strong, and seriously smooth. And even though I thought this one was unbelievably good, my new goal as of today is to try all four, because I really don’t think you could go wrong with any of them. Do NOT pass up the chance to try one of these on your next visit to Disney Springs! And while you’re at it, be sure to check out the Grab and Go sweets! Caramel Popcorn Brownie Bites From Brownie Bites to Creme Brulee to Raspberry Crispie Treats, they’ve packed a lot of options into a smaller space. Raspberry Rice Crispie Treats Creme Brulee Coconut Tapicoa And check out the frosting scoops on the Funfetti Cupcakes! Funfetti Cupcakes If only I didn’t have to head right back out on a flight from my trip to Disney World for the Epcot Festival of the Holidays. Maybe next time… Nosh or Not? You’ll want to visit Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill if: Your group would appreciate having a really nice amount of variety on the menu… not to mention fresh flavors. You’ve been a fan of Wolfgang Puck for a long time and can’t miss the latest venture. You can’t miss the sorbet and gelato cocktails now that you’ve heard about them! You’ll want to pass on Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill if: You’d rather opt for the quick service Wolfgang Puck Express to leave more time for shopping in Disney Springs. You live close to a Wolfgang Puck restaurant in your area and want to try the cuisine of some of the other celebrity chefs who have a presence in Disney Springs. Overall Some info before we wrap! Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill serves Lunch starting at 11:00 AM and Dinner starting at 5:00 PM. They are currently working out logistics to hopefully accept the Disney Dining Plan and Tables in Wonderland, but that has not yet been finalized (which is not unusual for opening days at a third party location). So, with that we are glad to welcome back table service from Wolfgang Puck in Disney Springs! Because there have been so many terrific additions in regards to restaurants owned by celebrity chefs to Disney Springs over the past few years — Morimoto Asia, Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’, and Frontera Cocina by Rick Bayless, to name a few — one might anticipate that visiting the Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill might have a feeling of “been there, done that” to it. But not at all! From the really fresh look of the new establishment to several very well prepared dishes (and, yes, those Gelato Cocktails!), the new Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill stands as a another great addition to the dining scene in Disney Springs. Well done, Chef Puck! Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill is located in the Town Center of Disney Springs. Check out Chef Puck’s neighbors in our DFB YouTube Food Tour of the entire area! Experience Bvlgari For The First Time on the Disney Fantasy
Disney4me posted a topic in Disney Blogs
If you’re sailing on the Disney Fantasy any time soon, you may notice that something is different. In fact, with its display of marble, stone and a Murano crystal chandelier that echoes the grandeur of its Italian heritage, it will be hard to miss! Disney Cruise Line introduced a new boutique to its merchandise lineup over the weekend, as Bvlgari opened for the first time on the Disney Fantasy. This Italian brand known for its contemporary jewelry, colored gemstones and unique craftmanship joins Tiffany & Co. as luxury shopping experiences that await guests boarding the Disney Fantasy. The new Bvlgari boutique will feature an array of jewelry, watches, silks and leather goods, with items from the brand’s most iconic collections, such as Serpenti, Divas’ Dream, Lvcea and OCTO. From the antique marble framed exterior to the geometric designs and shapes of the store’s interior, everything about this boutique is reminiscent of Bvlgari’s historical flagship store in Rome, Italy. In addition to luxury shopping onboard, Disney Cruise Line offers a wide variety of events and activities that cater specifically to passengers 18 years and older on the Disney Fantasy. Dining experiences designed to suit sophisticated palates are featured in Palo, a restaurant with exquisite modern Italian specialties, and Remy, a lavish affair with exquisite French-inspired gourmet cuisine, a world-class wine list and superb service in an elegant setting. Cove Café, on the other hand, offers adults the perfect place to sit back, sip a gourmet coffee, read a magazine or surf the web. The adult offerings don’t end with dining, as the Quiet Cove Pool and Satellite Falls allow guests on the Disney Fantasy an exclusive area for sun bathing or shade under a canopy. Senses Spa & Salon provides tranquility and pampering in ocean-view spa environments, while Disney Cruise Line’s private island, Castaway Cay, also offers a pristine stretch of beach exclusive to those 18 and older. Adults can find after-hours entertainment on the Disney Fantasy in Europa, where sophisticated bars and lounges, casual pubs and trendy clubs pave the way live entertainment, cabaret and game shows, dancing, live sports broadcasts and more. The next time you’re sailing on the Disney Fantasy, head on down to Deck 3 forward (in the former White Caps location), and don’t forget to say “benvenuto” to Bvlgari! View the full article -
Lights are twinkling, “snow” is falling and reindeer can even be spotted dancing. This could mean only one thing—it’s time to celebrate the most magical time of the year at the Disneyland Resort. The entire family will enjoy the festive decorations, amazing food and holiday cheer that can be found at Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure park. And if this is your little one’s first trip to the Disneyland Resort during this most holiday season, they are in for a special experience! To help little ones make the most of the merry magic that awaits them, members of the Disney Parks Moms Panel are here to share some of their favorite tips for enjoying the Disneyland Resort with your preschooler. For Disney Parks Moms Panelist Linda, she loves nothing more than making magical memories with her family during the merriest of seasons. And one of her first tips? Taking a trip to see Santa Claus at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail area in Disney California Adventure park. “If your preschooler has been good all year long, then definitely stop in to meet Santa so he/she can relay their holiday wish list to the jolly old man himself. He is available to meet guests until Christmas Eve, and then Santa Goofy will take over greeting guests through the end of the holidays on January 8.” There is nothing like seeing the magic of your preschooler meeting Santa for the first time! “Another perfectly merry thing to do with your preschooler is watch “A Christmas Fantasy” parade as it marches down Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland park,” she recommends. “To make the day even more special and to secure your viewing spot ahead of time, book a Plaza Inn Dining Package!” The magic continues later on Main Street, U.S.A., as falling “snow” transforms the well-known street to a winter wonderland. For many little ones, this might be their very first glimpse at snow! Fellow panelist Jennifer L., and mom of a preschooler, loves this magical season too and especially enjoys watching “Believe … in Holiday Magic” fireworks spectacular with her little one. She also never misses a chance for her son to enjoy “it’s a small world” Holiday. “One of the most iconic symbols of the season at the Disneyland Resort is the façade of “it’s a small world” Holiday with its thousands of dazzling lights. Little ones (and grown-ups!) will be amazed by this impressive light-up display,” Jennifer exclaims. “Inside you can see the classic attraction completely transformed with familiar music and adorable presentations of the holidays celebrated throughout the world. Since this is one of the most popular holiday offerings, I recommend grabbing a Disney FASTPASS so you can spend more time enjoying the festivities throughout the parks rather than waiting in line.” Our panelists also remind Guest to take time to enjoy the splendor of the holiday décor that can be found throughout the resort, including the twinkling lights of Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle. And let’s not forget the festive feasting that only takes place this time of year… even little ones love tasty treats! “Many of the festive goodies this year are almost too cute to eat!” explains Jennifer. “We can’t wait to try the adorable Santa Hat Macaron and Holiday Brownie topped with chocolate presents and a gingerbread Christmas tree at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe.” For more information about traveling to Disneyland Resort with your preschooler, or planning your next Disney vacation, visit DisneyParksMomsPanel.com for a personalized answer from one of our knowledgeable panelists. Add another award-winning, celebrity chef-driven restaurant to the Disney Springs line-up! The highly anticipated new venue from celebrated chef Wolfgang Puck, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill, is now open in Town Center. Located next to the Coca-Cola Store and easily accessible from the Orange Garage and the Disney Springs Bus Loop, it’s the fourth “Bar & Grill” location from Puck. Featuring approachable dining with a touch of California elegance, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill offers a dynamic setting inspired by traditional farmhouses and showcases a menu designed to suit every occasion – from casual, leisurely meals to lavish, celebratory gatherings. Last week, I got a sneak-peek of the menu and I love the mix of options. Expect to find familiar signature dishes like the classic pizzas Puck is known for alongside some new additions. The Olive Oil Seared Red Snapper with mussels, clams and fennel is a noteworthy standout, but truly, everything sounds delicious! (Tip: Make sure you save room; the homemade gelato and desserts are the perfect ending to the perfect meal.) In the coming weeks, my fellow Disney Parks Blog author Alex Dunlap will share more details on the menu (with photos!) so stay tuned. In the meantime, learn more and book an upcoming reservation for yourself here. View the full article
