Summertime at Disney World is here, which means it’s time to start getting ready for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! 2025 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party map The official dates for the 2026 Halloween party have been announced, and you can now book the days you wanna go! The question is…what days should those be? If you’re planning on going to MNSSHP this year, we didn’t put together a list of the dates you should go on, but rather a list of the dates you should NOT go on! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a VERY popular ticketed event where guests can celebrate spooky season at Magic Kingdom. People go for the exclusive entertainment, scary good snacks, limited-time experiences, exclusive merchandise, and, of course, the trick-or-treating around the park. A sign in front of Magic Kingdom! The Halloween party runs on select nights from August 7th to October 31st this year, with ticket prices varying based on the date. There are a lot of dates for you to choose from within the three months. However, we do believe there are dates that you should avoid. Halloween in Magic Kingdom First, let’s look at the full list of dates and their prices. Firstly, the end of October is by far the busiest time. Everyone loves to come during the actual Halloween season. Secondly, those dates are a lot pricier than they have been in any other year. 2024 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Map The party nights have a lot to offer guests, with entertainment being the headliner. We love seeing the Cadaver Dans and their scary good singing. Of course, the big events are the Boo To You Parade and Disney’s Not-So-Spooktacular Fireworks! Boo To You Parade Stitch will also be there this year, hosting a new dance party at the Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland. He’s going to be joined by his friends Lilo and Angel as they celebrate Halloween with all the guests. When you think of Disney World food, you probably don’t think of croissants, but we can confidently say that Disney World has a croissant for everyone. Whether you’re looking for a croissant sandwich, a peanut butter and jelly croissant, or even a cookie dough croissant, Disney has one! Cookie Butter Croissant So when we saw that Disney released a new Cookie Butter Croissant, we had to try it! Because the only thing better than a croissant is a yummy Biscoff cookie. The Cookie Butter Croissant is $6.49 at the Everything Pop Food Court. It’s a classic croissant stuffed with cookie butter and marshmallow cream, then topped with vanilla icing and crushed Biscoff cookie pieces. Cookie Butter Croissant The croissant is super flaky, even with the massive amount of cream. The cookie butter cream is thick, with a spiced sweetness just like regular cookie butter! The marshmallow filling is soft and gooey. This was absolutely stuffed with filling, leaving lots of rich cream with every bite. The vanilla icing on top was sweet and tangy, reminiscent of cinnamon roll icing, which complemented the cinnamon and spices of the cookie butter. Cookie Butter Croissant We’d recommend this to any cookie butter fan, but it’s a great sweet treat even if you’re not the biggest cookie butter fan. Combined with the vanilla and marshmallow flavors, the cookie butter isn’t too strong. Our only caveat is that because there’s so much filling, it’s not ideal for messy eaters, so we’d recommend grabbing a fork and knife with it! When it comes to finding great dining, Disney Springs probably can’t be beat. Plus, the shopping and dining district has a little something for everyone, including a first class wine bar (with equally great food), a gourmet chocolate shop, a donut shop, and more. Pork Belly Bahn Mi When it comes to quick-service restaurants in Disney Springs, we’re big fans of The Polite Pig, which does BBQ dishes just beautifully. However, this month, The Polite Pig decided to change things up a bit and has a special sandwich dish to celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. So we headed to The Polite Pig to check it out. The Polite Pig just dropped a new Chef Special, the Pork Belly Bánh Mì with three-pepper cherry glazed bulgogi pork belly, spicy pickled veggies, and baby arugula on a toasted baguette. It’s served with an Asian Noodle Salad with lo mein, shiitake mushrooms, napa cabbage, shaved red onion, and soy ginger vinaigrette. So you get a sandwich AND noodles for $23! The sandwich Let’s start with the Pork Belly Bánh Mi, which we expected to be kinda’ Americanized in a BBQ way, but it wasn’t. It’s not exactly a traditional bánh mi, but it’s close. You’ve got pork belly that’s crunchy on the outside and tender inside. The arugula, pickled carrots, and pickled jalapeños add some nice texture, plus the jalapeños add a hint of spice that works well with the sweet glaze on the meat. The bread, though, was a little chewy and hard to bite through. SO tasty The Asian Noodle Salad is a cold noodle salad with a nice kick offered by the pickled carrots and some dry spices. The noodles were thick and doughy, and were a great side for a hot day. Asian Noodle Salad So is it worth $23? Well, we didn’t think so, but at the same time, you DO get a side with the sandwich. It is a nice, unique offering in Disney Springs, so if that’s what you’re looking for, you might want to order it. A lot is happening behind the scenes at Walt Disney World right now, and your resort stay could look a little different depending on when you visit. Beach Club From pool closures to full-scale refurbishments, Disney has quietly confirmed a wave of updates affecting nearly a dozen properties across the resort. If you’ve got a trip on the books, this is exactly the kind of information you want in your back pocket before you arrive. Here’s a full breakdown of what’s new, what’s ongoing, and what to expect at each location. Newly Announced Updates All-Star Movies Resort All-Star Movies is entering a refurbishment window starting in late May 2026 and running through the end of January 2027. Disney hasn’t shared specifics on exactly what’s getting the refresh, but if you’re booked at this value resort during that stretch, it’s worth keeping an eye out for any updates closer to your travel dates. All-Star Movies Grand Floridian Resort and Spa Big news for Grand Floridian fans: the Grand Floridian Cafe will temporarily close for a refresh from mid-July through October 2026. The good news is that brunch won’t disappear entirely. It’s just moving over to Citricos for the duration. All other dining spots at the resort will stay open, so your options are still solid even while the renovation is underway. Ongoing construction in select areas, including the covered entrance, is also expected to continue through early 2027. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa Saratoga Springs has a layered situation going on. Refurbishment work across different areas, including the Treehouse Villas, will continue through mid-September 2026. The Turf Club Lounge will be closed from mid-April through early August, though the Bar and Grill will stay open with a pop-up bar and modified menu to keep things running. Then, in early August, the Turf Club Patio closes, and by mid-August, the Bar and Grill itself closes for a stretch through early September, with the Lounge reopening to pick up the slack. It’s a rolling closure situation, so the experience will vary depending on exactly when you’re visiting. Disney’s Saratoga Springs Ongoing Updates Animal Kingdom Lodge Refurbishment work at Kidani Village is wrapping up, running now through May 2026. After that, attention turns to Jambo House, where work will run from May 2026 through January 2027. If you’re planning a stay and want to choose between the two buildings, timing matters. Animal Kingdom Lodge Beach Club Resort Visible exterior maintenance is underway at Beach Club and will continue through late 2027. For those planning a visit in the near term, the Tidal leisure pool will also be closed through early May for routine maintenance. Bleach Club BoardWalk Inn BoardWalk is in the middle of a multi-area refurbishment running now through late 2026. Disney hasn’t laid out a specific project list, but guests can expect some areas to look a little rough around the edges while work is in progress. Boardwalk Inn Contemporary Resort This one’s got a few moving parts. Refurbishments are ongoing in select areas, including Bay Lake Tower and the main A-frame atrium, running now through late 2027. The Bay Cove Pool, water play area, and whirlpool spa at Bay Lake Tower are currently closed through early May, though the Bay Lake Pool, the Cove Bar, the feature pool, and the main water play area remain open. There’s also exterior elevator landing repair work happening at Bay Lake Tower, which means the Skyway Bridge connecting Bay Lake Tower to the Contemporary Main Tower is closed Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. It reopens daily after 5 PM and stays available on evenings and weekends. Bay Cove Pool construction sign Fort Wilderness Campground Construction near the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool area is continuing through mid-2026. Both the Meadow and Wilderness Swimmin’ Pools remain open, but seating around the Meadow pool may be limited, and guests should expect to see and hear some activity nearby. Meadow Swimmin’ Pool Port Orleans Resort Riverside Guest room refurbishments are happening throughout the resort in different phases, and this one has a long runway: work continues through August 2027. If you’re booking here, it’s business as usual for the most part, with some noise and activity possible depending on where your room lands. Port Orleans Riverside Wilderness Lodge and Copper Creek Villas and Cabins Exterior refurbishment at Wilderness Lodge is continuing through late 2026, with the security kiosk expanding from late March through mid-October. The entrance stays open, though lane closures may pop up occasionally. Wilderness Lodge Yacht Club Resort Exterior maintenance at Yacht Club is ongoing through late 2026, and the Admiral leisure pool was closed starting in mid-January and will remain closed through early May. Guests may also need to navigate alternate paths of travel while work is active. Yachtsman Steakhouse is also closing in May 2026 for a refresh, with a target reopening by August 2026. If a steakhouse dinner is on your Disney itinerary, plan around that window. Disney’s Yacht Club Polynesian Village Resort There’s a lot happening at the Polynesian right now. The boat dock closed on May 11th for routine maintenance and will remain closed through late June, with boat transportation suspended until June 5th. During that window, guests can reach Magic Kingdom and the Grand Floridian via the monorail or the walking path between the resorts. Beyond the dock, construction is ongoing in select areas of the Polynesian Village Resort and the Polynesian Villas and Bungalows, with Disney confirming that work is expected to continue through 2026. Guests should expect to see and hear construction activity starting at 9 AM daily. Exterior sections of the resort are also getting attention, which means views of Seven Seas Lagoon from certain spots, including ‘Ohana, may be partially or fully obstructed. If catching the fireworks is on your list, your best bet is an earlier dinner reservation and then heading down to the beach to watch from there. The dock is closed! The Bottom Line Twelve properties, one very long list of updates. The good news is that Walt Disney World is being fairly transparent about what’s happening and when, which gives you the chance to plan around closures, adjust expectations, or simply book with your eyes open. In most cases, the bulk of the resort experience stays intact even during active refurbishment. But knowing about a closed pool or a favorite restaurant going dark for a few months can make a real difference in how you plan your trip. When guests step into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, they’re transported to Batuu — a remote outpost where every sight, sound, and detail helps tell the story. And one of the most flavorful ways that story comes to life is through dishes that feel like they came straight from the Black Spire Outpost. Behind the scenes, Chef Maria Colon Cabrera, head chef for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, helps shape the guest experience by making sure every bite feels like it belongs on Batuu — from ingredients and color to the way a dish is plated and named. As the Star Wars universe continues to grow, including the upcoming Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, Chef Maria and her team keep asking the same question: What would you really eat in a bustling galactic marketplace? A Disney Journey that Grew with the Galaxy As a second-generation cast member, Maria’s path began long before Batuu welcomed its first travelers. Both of her parents built fulfilling Disney careers before retiring from the company. “Knowing my parents are proud means everything to me. Leading a team here and creating something so meaningful feels incredibly full circle,” Maria shared. She never expected her career would lead her to help guide the culinary team at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge where she balances creativity, storytelling, and her craft in a place where even a garnish can be part of the world-building. “Joining the opening team for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced,” Maria said. “As a Star Wars fan, seeing it built from the ground up, from dirt to props to menus, was truly a once in a lifetime thing.” Supporting her every step of the way is her wife, Olivia, whom she met while they were both working at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Today, Olivia continues her own Disney journey as a leader at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Food as Storytelling on Batuu Menu development often starts with dozens of ideas, then gets refined through tastings and story conversations. The team considers what guests already love, what might be served in a galactic outpost on the edge of Wild Space, and how small changes can transform familiar comfort food into something that feels right at home on Batuu. Sometimes that means using color in unexpected ways. Sometimes it means rethinking ingredients to reduce waste. And sometimes it means adding a twist that makes guests pause and snap a photo before taking a bite. “Pot roast, carrots, and potatoes are classic comfort food,” Maria said. “But what’s the Batuu twist? Add turmeric for a warm golden color. Suddenly it looks like something you’d find in a trader’s stall in Black Spire Outpost. Food is a big part of the story at Galaxy’s Edge. If it doesn’t make sense for Batuu, it doesn’t belong.” Chef Maria with one of her dishes, the Shaak Pot Roast with Kublag Mash:  Birria pot roast with turmeric-garlic mash and roasted carrots  Collaboration Beyond the Kitchen One of the most rewarding parts of Maria’s role has been collaborating with Lucasfilm, ensuring that dishes not only look and taste right, but also align with the broader Star Wars universe. “It’s an honor,” she said. “We’re continuing the story they envisioned for Batuu through food.” That collaboration can extend to naming dishes, refining presentation, and adjusting the small details that keep Batuu authentic to the universe. And for fans, it’s especially fun when something you’ve tasted in the parks feels like it could be right at home alongside your favorite characters on screen. Leading with Curiosity and Care For Maria, leadership is as important as creativity. Many of the cast members on her team who helped open Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge are still creating and learning together today. She takes pride in helping cast grow their skills, try new ideas, and bring their own backgrounds and perspectives to the land. “You don’t know your potential until you try,” she said. “Don’t be afraid of making mistakes. Learn from them and be better than you were yesterday. The best storytelling happens when many voices help shape the experience.” That mindset reflects not only her leadership style, but also her own journey from a part-time cook to helping lead one of the most immersive culinary teams at Walt Disney World. Here’s some things to know about the experience at Oak Trail: Tee times can be booked to play 9 holes of FootGolf either in front of or behind those playing a traditional round of 9-hole golf on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, or Sunday afternoons. For a group of four, expect a 9-hole round to take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. No soccer cleats! Stick with traditional shoes you’d wear on a golf course. Sink Some Putts at Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Located in the resort area near Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Blizzard Beach, Winter Summerland is the perfect escape from a jam-packed agenda across Walt Disney World, blending family-friendly mini golf with signature Disney fun. There is a ton of lore behind this mini golf course. Late one Christmas Eve as Santa Claus was flying back to the North Pole, he discovered snow in Florida. After scanning this peculiar sight, he decided to build a vacation paradise for his off-duty elves, who constructed two distinctly different golf course experiences: the sandy Summer Course and the snow-filled Winter Course. While the weather may fluctuate from time-to-time in Central Florida, the result of Santa’s offseason project was two distinctly different mini golf experiences. Visiting this location many times as a kid, I would certainly recommend adding this to your Disney World itinerary for a nice break away from the parks if you have toddlers, preschoolers, tweens, and teens in your travel group! Tread lightly as you prepare for your last putt on No. 18 – you do not want to wake up a sleeping Santa buried in the sand at this tropical golfing destination! The Winter Course As a lover of the holidays myself, I’ve always enjoyed a little “Christmas in July,” per se. Add that in with my love of sports, and you’ve got the perfect cost-friendly addition to my own Disney World vacation. Putt your way toward the North Hole on the 18-hole Winter Course while dodging sprays from Squirty the Snowman, who gleefully sprays water at players when golf balls pass beneath him. Additional obstacles include giant peppermints, hockey sticks, and a melting castle, challenging players to overcome adversity amongst the wintry fun. With a putter at your side and jolly vibes all around, this course is a perfect midday golfing escape for athletic youngsters looking to kick in their competitive instincts in a snow-filled wonderland. Mark Your Scorecard at Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf Inspired by the magic, music, and might of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Fantasia and located just steps from the EPCOT Area Resorts at Walt Disney World, Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf offers two distinct 18-hole courses: one designed for family-friendly fun and another offering a scaled-down test for more competitive golfing groups. Iconic moments from the film come to life at the Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course through clever obstacles, fanciful fountains, musical theming, and intricate details. Along the way, spot five whimsical scenes featuring the mysterious Yen Sid, tutu-clad hippos, pirouetting ostriches, and marching broomsticks ready to douse golfers who pass by. Meanwhile, sand traps, water hazards, and sloping greens make the Fantasia Fairways Miniature Golf Course an exciting challenge for more experienced putters, with par-3 and par-5 holes ranging from 63 to 109 feet long. Okay, it’s a lot to keep up with all the openings, closures, and construction happening in Disney World right now because there are SO many projects going on at once. We’re getting new lands, expansions, new rides, and so much more in three of Disney World’s four parks. Soarin’ Around The World Well, EPCOT has already had its big transformation, and things have been quiet there, but as of today, a popular ride will be closing to make way for a new version, so we wanted to remind you about it. Today is your last day to ride Soarin’ Around the World. When we visited the ride, the current wait time was a whopping 55 minutes. We expect that could go even higher today. LONG wait at Soarin’ Disney previously teased what the new version of Soarin’ will feature, including the Grand Canyon, as well as other American urban and natural landmarks. A new musical score will accompany the flight, which will also feature a new smell (bring back the orange groves!). ©Disney We’re assuming there might even be a new flight safety introduction with your flight attendant, Patrick. Disney has not confirmed if this will be new, but the announcement for Soarin’ Across America trailer featured our favorite flight attendant front and center. ©Disney If you’re a Disney World Annual Passholder, you can attend a preview for Soarin’ Across America on May 19th and 20th. All you need to do is show up to EPCOT and get in the ride’s regular standby queue during EPCOT’s operating hours. For most of 2026, the Magic Kingdom has felt more like a massive construction zone than it has Disney World’s premier theme park, between the large sites where Piston Peak and Villains Land will thrill guests in a few years and the recently completed refurbishments of Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin and Big Thunder Mountain. Main Street However, even with these projects, there’s still a lot going of exciting things on at Disney World’s first theme park this June that guests should be aware of. Extended Evening Hours Extended Evening Hours offer two extra hours to guests staying at Disney Deluxe Tier or Deluxe Villa resorts. after the park closes to the general public. The park offered varies by day, with the Magic Kingdom’s June dates being June 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th. Evening in the Magic Kingdom After Hours Events Extended Evening Hours aren’t the only way to get extra time in the park during June. These separately ticketed events allow guests to enjoy beloved attractions with lower wait times, and exclusively experience the Disney Enchantment fireworks spectacular, and enjoy snacks, included in the cost of this ticketed event. The Magic Kingdom will play host to After Hours events on June 1st, 22nd, and 29th. After Hours Passholder Perks The V.I.Passholder “summer celebration,” which features limited-time offerings and perks just for Passholders across the resort, will run throughout the full month of June, including the following at the Magic Kingdom: From May 26th – July 31st, Passholders can get 20% off at Be Our Guest Restaurant (lunch only) and The Crystal Palace (lunch and dinner), valid Monday to Thursday only from May 1st through July 31st. The revamped attraction features new ride vehicles, complete with new, removable blasters, refurbished “Z” targets throughout the ride, and a new opening scene featuring the original robot character named Buddy, which ensures that “departing Space Rangers are fully prepared for their mission (by) enthusiastically providing encouragement, final system checks on their Star Cruisers, and a chance to hone their blaster aim.” The following month, the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad opened after its own year-and-a-half-long refurbishment with updated tracks and trains that “preserve the attraction’s classic storytelling and trademark hootin’ an’ hollerin’ energy” while improving the ride experience. These changes – and a “comprehensive review from their safety teams” have even allowed Disney to lower the ride’s height requirement from 40 inches to 38 inches. May also saw The Diamond Horseshoe – one of the Magic Kingdom’s oldest and longest neglected eateries – come back to life with the Toy Story-themed Jessie’s Roundup show during the Cool Kids Summer promotion. Led by “everyone’s favorite yodelin’ cowgirl” Jessie, guests “craft, dance, and yodel their day away” with Woody and friends in a “high-spirited Western revue!” The show will make the first live entertainment in the Diamond Horseshoe in over two decades. From the Magic Kingdom’s opening in 1971 through 2004, the restaurant – which has alternated between table service and quick service throughout its history – has hosted several incarnations of the Diamond Horseshoe Revue… and Goofy’s Country Dancin’ Jamboree. Are you ready to hear the Bluey theme song hummed around Disney’s Animal Kingdom in a couple of weeks? Disney’s Animal Kingdom Starting on May 26th, characters from the beloved show Bluey will be coming to Disney World. Bluey and Bingo will be at a new area called Bluey’s Wild World. The experience will include meet-and-greets with Bluey and Bingo, dance parties, interactive play, Bluey-themed games, and a new petting zoo with Australian animals. However, if you want to check out the new attraction, you’ll need to get familiar with the virtual queue system again! Bluey’s Wild World is opening at the Conservation Station on May 26th, taking over what used to be Rafiki’s Planet Watch. When it opens, Disney confirmed it will use a virtual queue. Conservation Station Guests will need to join the virtual queue to experience Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station, the Wildlife Express Train, Jumping Junction, and the Animal Care experiences at Conservation Station. This will be the only way to experience any of the Bluey stuff, as there will NOT be a standby queue available during the initial opening period. Wildlife Express That being said, Disney does actually expect to open a standby queue at a later date, but that date hasn’t been revealed yet. So for now, guests can request to join the virtual queue via the My Disney Experience app at one of two times. The first time will be at 7 AM, and the next time will be at 10 AM. Disney’s Animal Kingdom To request to join the virtual queue at 7 AM, you will need a valid admission and a theme park reservation to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. You do not need to be in Disney’s Animal Kingdom when joining during that first window. To request to join at 10 AM, you will need to be inside Animal Kingdom to join. When it comes toDisney World, there are a lot of rules — both official and unofficial — that guests “need” to follow. Early entry sign! However, we’d argue that there are some unofficial “rules” that guests should break at least once! “You ALWAYS Need a Plan” Our first point has some caveats. For better or worse, a day at any Disney World park in 2026 generally requires some hefty planning, including making dining reservations and booking Lightning Lanes (hold that thought specifically) and generally having a very structured plan for the day. However, we’d advise that those who have extended access to the parks — Annual Passholders, those who find themselves at Disney World often, and even simply those who have a long multi-day trip — should take a day with no plan at all. Instead, simply go by vibes as it were. Take the day as it comes, and experience the park as the day evolves. Dumbo “You NEED to Use Lightning Lanes” So, speaking of Lightning Lanes specifically, we’d also advise that those who visit the parks often or those who visit during the comparatively slower periods (late January, the period between spring break season and summer, late August, mid-September) should spend a park day without using Lightning Lanes, instead relying on traditional standby queues. Think of it as a “throwback to 1998” day. Lightning Lane The truth is Lightning Lanes, especially during the slower seasons, aren’t always necessary. If you have a lot of time and a chill day at, say, Animal Kingdom, you likely don’t need Lightning Lanes for that day. “You MUST Rope Drop EVERY Day…” While arriving as early as possible to rope drop at a Disney World park (or taking advantage of 30 minutes earlier Early Entry if one is a Disney World hotel guest) is definitely worth it the majority of the time. However, sometimes it’s also worth skipping out on an early arrival to enjoy some early morning time outside the parks, which can include sleeping in one’s hotel room, spending some time by the hotel pool, or having breakfast at a hotel or Disney Springs restaurant. Adventureland rope drop crowds. “… And You HAVE to See the Fireworks EVERY Night” At the opposite end of the day, there’s no denying that Walt Disney World’s nighttime spectaculars – including Happily Ever After at the Magic Kingdom, Luminous at EPCOT, and Fantasmic at Hollywood Studios – are some of the resort’s best offerings. However, that doesn’t mean that guests need to stay until close to see them each and every night. The big finale! For starters, several Walt Disney World hotels offer tremendous views of the fireworks in much calmer, less crowded environments. The Magic Kingdom’s display is visible from the hotels that surround the Seven Seas Lagoon: The Polynesian Village, the Contemporary, and the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Wave Break Terrace Meanwhile, EPCOT’s show is visible from the hotels that surround Crescent Lake, as well as the Riviera Resort. Luminous from Sebastian’s Bistro Beyond that, guests can leave the park early for a meal at one of Disney’s hotels (some of which provide fireworks views) or even simply for a nighttime swim at their hotel. EPCOT Fireworks Views from Topolino’s Terrace “You NEED to Eat a Table Service Meal” While Disney World does offer a slew of delicious table service restaurants that we heartily recommend, guests don’t need to eat at one every single time they’re in the parks. Instead, have a counter service meal or two. Maple-Mustard Glazed Salmon Some of our favorite quick-service eateries include the New England seafood of Magic Kingdom’s Columbia Harbour House, Regal Eagle Smokehouse’s selection of American BBQ at EPCOT, Hollywood Studios’ Woody’s Lunch Box (try the Totchos AKA tater tots, topped with chili, sour cream, cheese, green onion, and Fritos), and the Satu’li Canteen in Animal Kingdom’s Pandora. TOTCHOS! Next time you’re heading to the “Most Magical Place on Earth,” maybe consider breaking one of these unwritten “rules” during your trip. We’re getting closer and closer to the opening of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at Hollywood Studios, and to say we’re excited would be a MAJOR understatement. ©Disney On May 26th, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will be opening, and we’re pretty excited for their takeover of G-Force Records. We’re on the hunt for every single update we can get about this new ride, and Disney just delivered. Get ready, because a new snack stand called FØØD by Swedish Chef is opening along with the ride! Disney shared that the fan-favorite spot (formerly home to KRNR) is rolling out a refreshed look along with an updated menu featuring all-new snacks and drinks designed to keep the good vibes going long after the ride is over. While we don’t have a look at the menu just yet, a foodie guide will be coming soon. KRNR The Rock Station From the one image we do have, it looks like there will be some sort of twisted churro with sprinkles and what looks like a chocolate dipping sauce. We’re hoping this snack stand will have a mix of sweet and savory treats (and we REALLY hope those corn dog nuggets stick around!). KRNR Corn Dog Nuggets The new spot will be opening on May 26th, along with the refurbished ride, so you KNOW we’ll be there to check it out and review all the new snacks. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, Universal’s Epic Universe is about to upgrade its merchandise collection available at the park! Epic Universe! Although it’s unrelated to Epic Universe coming up to its first anniversary, the park is getting new merchandise on the shelves, and we’re so excited! One of our favorite things to buy when we’re at Disney World is Disney Lug Bags. Well, Lug bags are officially coming to Epic, and we’re freaking out! We just saw on Lug’s official Instagram account, @luglife, that the company announced Lug bags will officially be coming to Epic Universe in the future. The way they worded it was, “An Epic Adventure Begins Soon.” @luglife via Instagram Unfortunately, there is nothing else that came with this announcement. There has not been a date announced for when the bags will drop, nor any opening timeline. On top of that, there hasn’t been any announcement or tease as to how the Lug Bags will be themed. Lug Bags for DAYS All we know is that the bags are coming “soon”, but that can mean a wide range. That being said, we’re SUPER excited to see them at Epic Universe eventually. Could we get Super Mario bags? Harry Potter? How to Train Your Dragon? Who knows, but we can’t wait! Disney Lug Bags! As we said before, we’ve seen plenty of Lug Bags inside the Disney World parks, but we have never seen them at Epic Universe.
