Since we visit theme parks every single day, it’s safe to say we know a thing or two about what takes a theme park to the next level for its guests. Welcome to Epic Universe With Epic Universe, Universal Orlando’s newest theme park, opening in less than one month, we’ve been exploring every nook and cranny, and this massive theme park perk has been staring right at us. Wait till you see how easy it is to fill up your water bottle at Epic Universe. Epic Universe has a bunch of free water refill stations all over the park, and when we say a bunch, we mean it. Freestyle Machines We’ve found some in every land, and we usually spot them before we even know we need them. They’ve been on theme with the area they’re in, too, which really adds to the immersion of the Epic Universe. Isle of Berk You don’t have to talk to anyone, but you can walk right up, fill it, and be on your way to exploring the rest of the park. The water has been ice cold, too! Coca- Cola Freestyle Machine There are even lots of Coca-Cola Freestyle Machines around the park, which are perfect if you pick up a refillable mug where you get free soda refills for the entire day. Not only were they at counter-service restaurants when you’re grabbing a bite to eat, but also scattered throughout the park. If you’re worried about getting your money’s worth and you want to make sure that you can easily fill up your cup throughout the day, Epic Universe is trying to make it very convenient to fill up whenever you need it. Stella Nova Resort Refillable Mug For water drinkers, you can also fill up at the Freestyle Machines, so you can have your water bottle filled with ice, too. Harry Potter and the Ministry of Magic While this might seem like a small part of building a theme park, it’s huge when it comes to how guests feel in the parks. We know how hot Epic Universe can get due to the lack of shade coverage, so it’s even more important than usual to stay hydrated. The better you feel inside the parks, the more you’ll want to wait to catch another ride and head into one more gift shop. Coca-Cola Freestyle Machine Epic Universe opens May 22nd, and we’re exploring every part and sharing all the details with you so your first day at Epic Universe is as perfect as possible. We’re constantly wondering if Disney World will ever announce a fifth theme park…and if the announcement’s coming, when can we expect it? Welcome to Disney World! While Universal’s Epic Universe is dominating the theme park conversation as it ushers in a new era of Universal theme park entertainment, we can’t help but wonder what’s next for another major Florida-based theme park resort — Disney World! garnering a lot of attention from theme park fans. A fifth park would certainly shift the focus back on Disney, and we have a guess as to when Disney could potentially drop this massive announcement. Currently, Disney World has four theme parks and two water parks, with its last theme park — Disney’s Animal Kingdom — opening in 1998. But could we see that number expand soon? Disney’s Animal Kingdom Talk on a fifth theme park has been speculative for a while, and that talk hasn’t slowed down as Disney World continues to move forward with expansion plans, including a Cars area in Magic Kingdom, Pueblo Esperanza in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Monsters, Inc. Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and a Villains Land in Magic Kingdom. Villains Land ©Disney Disney doesn’t tend to drop news this consequential whenever — the company is calculative and likes to drop news bombs when the world is paying attention. That leads us to believe that The Walt Disney Company will wait for a major expo/convention — the nearest one being Destination D23 at Disney World’s Coronado Springs Resort from August 29th through 31st, 2025. Still, we’re hesitant to believe that THIS event will be where Disney announces that fifth theme park. ©Disney We’ll be getting some announcements and closer looks at upcoming Disney projects during Destination D23 presentations, but it’s far more likely that THE big Disney World news is actually delivered in 2026 at D23 expo, a generally larger and more impactful event. During last year’s D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, Disney announced A TON of expansions and additions to its theme parks worldwide, delivering HUGE news every day of the expo. When the event returns in the future, it would make the most sense for Disney to do the fifth park announcement then, as it will have more attention and ample time will have passed since Disney last dropped significant news. D23 Experts suggest the announcement may happen sooner rather than later and we’ll be covering both events, so stay tuned right here at DFB for all the latest fifth park updates and all kinds of Disney World news! We are getting close to being ONE month out from the opening of two brand-new Disney shows in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! On April 27th, we will be just one month away from the debut of Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After and “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure.” ©Disney We have been waiting (not so) patiently for the grand opening show, and we are getting closer and closer! However, we still have a bit before they open. Let’s take a closer look at what these shows are replacing and what else is closed in Disney World this week. First, let’s take a look at what is currently closed in Disney World to make way for these two brand-new shows. Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy The Cars-themed show featuring Lighting McQueen permanently closed on October 8th, 2024, to make way for a brand-new Villains show. Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy The Cars show was previously housed in the Sunset Showcase building, but the last day for guests to enjoy it was October 7th. The new Villains show officially has an opening date! The show will debut on May 27th, 2025. We also recently saw that they have begun to dismantle the outdoor exhibits from Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy. Voyage of the Little Mermaid As well, Voyage of the Little Mermaid is currently closed in Disney World. A bit ago we saw that the iconic Voyage of the Little Mermaid marquee has been removed! So far, it is still missing, but we are curious what, if anything, will take its place. Voyage of the Little Mermaid Disney is going to introduce a new, updated show in this spot, though it will still be themed to the animated movie The Little Mermaid! The new show will be called “The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure,” and will be debuting on May 27th, 2025. It will be a “fully reimagined theatrical production inspired by the Walt Disney Animation Studios classic.” Keep reading below to see what attractions and locations will be closed this week, April 26th through May 3rd! Magic Kingdom Playground at Dumbo the Flying Elephant The indoor children’s playground inside the Dumbo the Flying Elephant queue closed for refurbishment on February 24th, 2025. While the playground is closed, the ride is still open and available for kids of all ages to soar through the sky! Dumbo the Flying Elephant The indoor playground is expected to reopen in Spring 2025. Hall of Presidents The Hall of Presidents closed at Magic Kingdom on January 20th. Hall of Presidents The attraction will be closed until later in 2025, though Disney has not shared a specific date. We will keep an eye out for updates, though! The closure is likely to change the current president, as January 20th marked Inauguration Day. While it is closed, other maintenance and routine work may also be happening. Astro Orbiter If you want to blast off into space, you’ll have to head over to Space Mountain because Astro Orbiter is temporarily closed for refurbishment! Astro Orbiter closed as of January 13th and is planned to reopen in the summer of 2025. No specific date has been announced for the high-in-the-sky ride, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled for an update from Disney. Astro Orbiter The ride has currently been completely dismantled and is being refurbished elsewhere. It definitely looks a little barren as you are walking into Tomorrowland right now! However, Disney recently filed a permit that could mean the attraction will soon be back in its place in Tomorrowland. This Is the Best Place to Cry in Magic Kingdom Big Thunder Mountain Railroad On January 6th, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad closed for an extended temporary closure. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad The “Wildest Ride in the Wilderness” will be closed for at least a year and will reopen sometime in 2026. The ride will be undergoing maintenance while it is closed. When it reopens, it will have some “new magic,” according to Disney. We can’t wait to see what changes will be coming to this ever-popular roller coaster! Tomorrowland Terrace Tomorrowland Terrace is a quick-service restaurant that has been closed since the 2020 pandemic-related closures, but even before that, this spot was only occasionally open. Tomorrowland Terrace Once in a while, you’ll see the dining room open as a rest area (and it’s still being used for the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties), but it’s usually all roped off and empty. Disney hasn’t announced when this spot could finally reopen, but we’ll be watching for updates. If you’re looking for a nice spot to hang out in Disney World and take a rest, this could be it! Tortuga Tavern Just like Tomorrowland Terrace, Tortuga Tavern is also a seasonal restaurant in Magic Kingdom. It has been a bit since we have seen it open. Most recently, it was used as a cookie location for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Tortuga Tavern We had previously spotted shrubs around the restaurant as they worked on the flooring. However, all the shrubs have been taken down now. We don’t know exactly when/if this restaurant will reopen, but we will keep you updated if we learn more! 3 NEW Things We Just Spotted in Magic Kingdom EPCOT Test Track Test Track closed on June 17th, 2024 and Disney is giving this ride a BIG makeover! Disney has shared that the new version of Test Track will take inspiration from the old ride, World of Motion, that was originally there when the park opened in 1982. Test Track Disney shared more details at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Experience and an updated opening timeline was announced! We’ll be able to ride Test Track once again in late summer 2025. We recently got a look at the new Test Track cars too. We are getting closer and closer to its reopening! Restaurant Marrakesh Restaurant Marrakesh is currently closed as a dining location in the Morocco pavilion of EPCOT’s World Showcase, and there’s no word yet on when the restaurant could fully reopen. Restaurant Marrakesh Occasionally, we’ll see it open as a lounge or Kidcot Fun Stop. So, if you’re in the Morocco Pavilion, check it out to see if it’s open. We’re watching for updates on when the full restaurant could reopen! The New Procedures You Have to Follow in EPCOT Animal Kingdom It’s Tough to Be a Bug It’s Tough to Be a Bug is officially closed for good. This attraction in Disney’s Animal Kingdom invited you to join the bug kingdom on an adventure. While the show didn’t usually make it to the top of favorite attractions in Disney World, it has now officially closed to make way for a new show. It’s Tough to be a Bug! It’s Tough to Be a Bug closed on March 17th. The show is permanently closed to make way for a brand-new show, “Zootopia: Better Zoogether!” expected to debut in winter 2025. TriceraTop Spin, Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures, and Fossil Fun Games The first round of closures began in DinoLand U.S.A. on January 13th, 2025. TriceraTop Spin, Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures, and Fossil Fun Game were closed down, and construction has begun on the brand-new land themed to the Tropical Americas, Pueblo Esperanza. The walls have been up since the closure, and things have been disappearing from behind the walls. Almost everything has been taken down behind the walls, including the large green dinosaur. DinoLand Construction Walls It is definitely a sad sight, but we are also excited to see Pueblo Esperanza! DINOSAUR, Restaurantosaurus, the snack stands, and The Boneyard remain open. Disney hasn’t announced an official closing date for the rest of DinoLand. However, they have announced that “2025 is your year to visit before it goes extinct!” The Most Expensive Restaurant in Animal Kingdom You Should SKIP (and the One You’ve Gotta Try) Disney Springs Starbucks on the West Side The Starbucks on the West Side of Disney Springs is temporarily closed for refurbishment. It closed on March 3rd, and it is expected to reopen in mid-summer. Starbucks is undergoing refurbishment Have no fear, though — you can still get your Starbucks fix in Disney Springs! Head over to the Disney Springs Marketplace location, which will be open during the refurbishment. Caffeine headaches are not allowed in Disney Springs! The One Thing a Celebrity Chef Is Begging You to Order in Disney Springs Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach (But Not at the Same Time) Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon have been switching off being open, and they are about to make the switch again! Currently, Blizzard Beach is open, and Typhoon Lagoon is closed. However, Typhoon Lagoon will be reopening on May 1st, 2025. When it reopens, Blizzard Beach will be temporarily closing. Blizzard Beach Disney has been having one water park open at a time seasonally since 2020, but that is changing this year. BOTH Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach will be open at the same time from May 21st through September 7th, 2025. So if you are heading to the water parks this week, make sure to double check which one is open on the day you want to go. Click here to learn all about Blizzard Beach! Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Alright, it is only kind of closing, but we wanted to make sure you were aware! From April 28th until June 16th, 2025, Winter Summerland Miniature Golf will be undergoing refurbishment. However, even though it will be getting refurbished, you can still stop by to play a round of golf. Only ONE course will be open at a time during the refurbishment, so you won’t have your choice of The Summer or The Winter Course, it will just be whichever one is open. Winter Summerland Mini Golf As well, Winter Summerland won’t be taking reservations during this time. If you are looking to play a round, you will just head over to the course as a walk-up. You can also head over to Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf if you are looking for even more mini golf fun. 27 Extremely RARE Things You Didn’t Know You Could Do in Disney World Disney World Hotels Jellyrolls — Disney’s BoardWalk Jellyrolls at Disney’s BoardWalk is officially closed on April 19th, 2025. This entertainment venue has provided our team with countless memories, and we know many others are also sad to see it close. Jellyrolls had its final farewell performance on April 19th and has closed its doors forever on Disney’s BoardWalk. Jellyrolls However, this isn’t the end for Jellyrolls, as the bar has said they are “making a move.” We don’t know many details about that move yet, but we will keep you updated. Stormalong Bay and Hurricane Hanna’s– Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts Stormalong Bay is the shared pool between Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. It features a beach, a lazy river, a large pool, and an exciting pirate ship slide! When we stopped by recently, we noticed that they were hard at work at Stormalong Bay. Stormalong Bay Construction This pool area will be closed for refurbishment until June. While it’s closed, hotel guests can use the Tidal (Beach Club), Admiral (Yacht Club), and Dunes Cove (Beach Club) leisure pools. During the refurbishment, Hurricane Hanna’s, the pool bar at Stormalong Bay will also be closed. Merchandise Locations — Disney’s BoardWalk The merchandise locations along Disney’s BoardWalk will be closing for refurbishment in phases. The closures will last until May 2025, but two merchandise locations will always be available during the refurbishment. Disney’s BoardWalk The Character Carnival is currently closed. While they are working on the Character Carnival, you can shop at Screen Door General Store and Thimbles & Threads. EPCOT is such an underrated park. First, you’ve got all these AMAZING festivals that bring a lot of extra food, fun, and entertainment to the park. EPCOT Plus you’ve got World Showcase where you can walk around the world in less than a day (and again…MORE great food). Then there are the nighttime shows. Of course, there’s the show on World Showcase Lagoon, Luminous “The Symphony of Us.” But there’s also the fancy lighting on Spaceship Earth that lights up the night throughout the evening in the front of the park. However, we recently spotted a BIG problem with EPCOT’s icon. Back in 2021, Spaceship Earth got some new fancy lights put on it to celebrate Disney World’s 50th Anniversary. the lights are designed in a way that they can be programmed to create all kinds of fun little light shows that happen on EPCOT’s big ‘ole golf ball. In fact, each festival gets its own special light show on the globe. Spaceship Earth at Night during the EPCOT Festival of the Arts However, we were recently watching the Spaceship Earth lights from the Skyliner and noticed something. Some of the lights seem to be burned out. For example, when a certain section of Spaceship Earth is supposed to be all lit up pink and orange, there were chunks of lights that seemed burned out so the effect was patchy-looking. It’s been four years since those lights were initially installed, so it might make sense that some need to be replaced. For example, when you look at this Festival of the Holidays lighting show on Spaceship Earth, there are a line of white lights that look considerably dimmer than the rest. Spaceship Earth Here’s a photo taken of Spaceship Earth from afar and you can see patches where the lights seem to be burned out. Lights are burned out? Now, don’t get us wrong, we LOVE this lightning on Spaceship Earth — it really brings life to the front of the park at night. But it does look like the lighting needs a bit of a refresh and maybe some lights need to be replaced. So, hopefully, Disney will get on that quickly. Stay tuned to DFB for more. “If They Don’t Have Rome Burning I Will Cry.” Disney Fans Have 6 Demands for EPCOT’s New Spaceship Earth Lounge Join the DFB Newsletter to get all the breaking news right in your inbox! If you’ve ever stayed at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, you’re probably already familiar with the quick-service restaurant there, Trail’s End Restaurant. Trail’s End Restaurant Now, Trail’s End got a bit of an overhaul a few years ago, but it’s still the place to go to get a quick bite to eat and a little snack. Now, usually the snacks are things like cupcakes, Mickey ice cream bars, and the like, but sometimes a new snack pops up. So join us as we head over to Fort Wilderness to try out a fun snack at Trail’s End Restaurant. Meet the Apple Hand Pie, which is made with a flaky crust and apple-cinnamon filling for $6.29. Now this square little pie could be a contender to go up against McDonald’s Apple Pie, and it’s certainly a bit bigger (and yes, we think those McDonald’s pies have shrunk since we were kids). So first off, a warning. UNLIKE a McDonald’s apple pie, it’s not served warm (you grab it in the bakery section). Now this is a SERIOUS faux pas, y’all. Apple Hand Pie HOWEVER, the dough is still flaky, although it seemed a bit dry. The filling has tender apples and a sweet cinnamon-y syrup, but you don’t get enough of it, in our opinion. There’s a lot more dough than there is filling, and again, that’s a miss for us. You do have some nice sugar crystals on the outside to add a bit of texture and crunch. Needs more filling So, yeah, it’s an apple pie. We wouldn’t travel all the way to Fort Wilderness for it, but if you’re staying there, it could satisfy that apple pie urge. To quote our reporter, it’s “nothing special, but gets the job done.” Stay tuned to DFB for more! WE KNOW – there are SO many great snacks at Disney World! Quick service restaurants at Disney World hotels don’t always have the best reputations. Many people will opt to skip the food courts at the value and moderate Disney World hotels if they have the chance, and even the grab-and-go food at the deluxe resorts isn’t really much to write home about most of the time. Disney’s Beach Club Resort However, there’s always the chance that you’ll find a hidden gem menu item at one of these hotels, so recently, we visited Beach Club Marketplace at Disney’s Beach Club Resort to see if the food there is praiseworthy. Atmosphere Beach Club Marketplace is an interesting case when it comes to dining. Both Beach Club and Yacht Club’s quick service restaurants are located INSIDE gift shops, so you get a strange amalgamation of shopping and dining. Beach Club Marketplace The vibe here feels more like a grab-and-go spot than a true quick-service location. You will find a counter towards the back of the shop where you can place your order for food. Beach Club Marketplace Food There are also refrigerated displays with prepackaged snacks, sandwiches, and desserts are set up throughout. You can grab snacks! What’s even more bizarre is that there isn’t really restaurant seating here. If you exit across from the restaurant entrance, you’ll find a door that leads outside to some picnic-style tables. These are under an awning, so you could probably have a nice meal here if it’s not too hot or raining sideways. Seating nearby Your other seating option is to walk down the hall to the Beach Club Solarium. This room is filled with chairs, tables, and couches, so it’s a bit more comfortable on a bad weather day. Seating in The Solarium So now that we’ve checked out the space, let’s talk about the food! Menu Most of the menu features typical quick-service lunch options. They’ve got a chili cheese hot dog, pepperoni flatbread, various sandwiches, and a salad option. ©Disney Plant-based eaters can try the chili, and those looking for something healthier might want to check out the soup and salad selections, which include a Chicken Caesar Salad, chili, and clam chowder (fitting for a place called the Beach Club). ©Disney There are a few different options for the kids, from healthier items like sandwiches and a Kid’s Pack to a hot dog, macaroni and cheese, or an Uncrustable. ©Disney The bakery section has cookies, brownies, cinnamon rolls, and other pastries. And if you’re celebrating a birthday, you can even purchase an entire cake! ©Disney Other dessert options are available outside the bakery, including a cupcake, a brownie, a Caramel Cheesecake, and the Cookies ‘n Cream Trifle. ©Disney To drink, you can try a fresh-made specialty coffee, each prepared with Joffrey’s Coffee. They also serve hot tea and hot cocoa. ©Disney So, what did I order to try? Eats First up, we grabbed the Caprese Sandwich for $11.99. It’s made with sun-dried tomato pesto, arugula, fresh mozzarella, and tomato on Focaccia bread served with a side of chips. Caprese Sandwich We were surprisingly impressed with this sandwich! While it may have come from inside a gift shop, it sure didn’t taste like it did. There were lots of toppings on top including plenty of tomato, 3 big slices of mozzarella, and a good handful of arugula. There is a reason caprese is so popular, and these flavors blended well together for a light and tasty sandwich. Caprese Sandwich Plus, we can’t praise the focaccia bread enough! It was soft, light, and buttery, with a slightly toasted outside so the edges were crisp, yet the inside was fluffy and soft. The herbs and garlic on top added great flavor, and the bread worked really well with the toppings. We will be thinking about that focaccia for a while! Caprese Sandwich Next, we had the Kids’ Macaroni & Cheese for $7.29. This one is unique because it comes topped with Goldfish! The meal comes with two sides and a beverage. For sides, you can choose from prepackaged grapes, carrots, or apple sauce. There aren’t any hot sides available here. We chose the grapes and applesauce, which were exactly what you would expect. Kids’ Macaroni & Cheese The kids’ macaroni and cheese is your classic Disney mac & cheese. We thought this macaroni and cheese tasted a smidge cheesier than others we have tried, but if your kiddo is a fan of Kraft macaroni and cheese, they will likely enjoy this dish. Kids’ Macaroni & Cheese It comes with goldfish crackers on top which we thought was a fun touch. Plus, it adds a great crunchy texture to the soft mac and cheese. We do have a warning though, as the mac and cheese is saucy. The goldfish got soft pretty quickly, so you will want to plan on eating this pretty quickly. Kids’ Macaroni & Cheese For dessert, we chose the Cookies ‘n Cream Trifle for $5.49. It’s made with layers of chocolate cookie sandwich mousse, chocolate cake, and whipped cream. This dessert has a nice chill to it as it comes from the refrigerated section. While the dessert is simple, it was delicious. Cookies ‘n Cream Trifle It was creamy and a great changeup from a cookie or a cupcake. The layers of chocolate cookie sandwich mousse reminded us of a cheesecake filling, and the chocolate cake layers were fairly moist. There was lots of Oreo and chocolate flavor in this dessert, and it is one we would definitely get again! Cookies ‘n Cream Trifle Nosh or Not This Disney World restaurant is a must-visit if… You are staying at an EPCOT resort and are looking for a quick bite. If you are staying at one of the EPCOT resorts nearby to Disney’s Beach Club Resort, and are looking to grab a quick bite, the Beach Club Marketplace could be a great option. You are craving a Caprese Sandwich made with some delicious focaccia bread. We really enjoyed the Caprese Sandwich and that focaccia bread was fantastic! Not to say you can’t find a great Caprese Sandwich elsewhere (for example you can also find one at Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian), but this is a wonderful option. You want to escape the crowds and grab some light bites. If you are tired of being surrounded by crowds, this could be a great stop. Especially if you are in EPCOT as you can walk over or take a boat to the hotel. You will find a more relaxed vibe and less people here. You should skip this Disney World spot if… You are looking for a large meal. You could make it work by grabbing a lot of items, but overall, this location would be better suited for a snack or lighter meal. The good news is that there are lots of restaurant options nearby including Trattoria al Forno, The Cake Bake Shop Restaurant, and Ale & Compass. You are looking for unique menu options. The menu features lots of classic fare and there aren’t many unique flavors or pairings to be found. It could be great for picky eaters, but if you are looking for something that you haven’t tasted before, this won’t be the best option. For example, you could head over to Boma at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge for some African flavors. You are not close to Disney’s Beach Club Resort, and it would be difficult to get to. While we really enjoyed our meal, we also don’t think this is a restaurant you need to go out of your way to try. If you are in the area, go for it. But don’t make a long trek here! Overall We were actually very impressed with this quasi-gift shop, quasi-quick service restaurant location. While it is tucked away inside the Beach Club Marketplace, we enjoyed everything we tried here. The Caprese Sandwich was fresh, and we will be dreaming about that focaccia bread. The Cookies ‘n Cream Trifle was simple, but such a satisfying dessert. The Kids’ Macaroni & Cheese wasn’t anything that knocked our socks off, but kids would enjoy it, and we loved the goldfish crackers on top. Our biggest complaint is the seating situation, but there are a couple of good options nearby! Beach Club Marketplace, you impressed us! Insert heavy breathing here… ©Disney It’s the 20th Anniversary of Star Wars Episode III — Revenge of the Sith, which is the final (and perhaps best) movie in the Star Wars prequel trilogy that tells the story of how Anakin Skywalker becomes Darth Vader and how the Empire is born. In honor of that big anniversary, the movie is returning to theaters for a limited time. But that’s not all; if you see the film at AMC Theatres, you’ll also be able to get an EPIC Darth Vader popcorn bucket. We have been ALL over Epic Universe and have enjoyed seeing the five new lands in Universal Orlando’s new theme park. Celestial Park in Epic Universe We’ve been on the rides, we’ve checked out the character meet and greets, and we’ve enjoyed the vibe of each land. However, most importantly, we’ve been checking out the FOOD, so we’re coming back at you with a NEW review, this time of a bar called The Plastered Owl (okay, is that not the COOLEST bar name ever?). So here are our honest thoughts. You’ll find The Plastered Owl connected to The Oak & Star Tavern, and the vibe is pretty much the same. Lots of wood-inspired colors. The bar gets its name from a “comical celestial owl,” who apparently spent a lot of time plastered (seriously, we love this bar’s name). You’ll even see some of the adventures of the owl in question on the wall carvings. Oak & Star Tavern The menu features ales on tap, fun cocktails, a mocktail, wine, and beer. We decided to give the mocktail a try. It’s called Enchanted Oak Sap and it costs $7. It’s made with Ginger purée, lime juice, rosemary-infused simple syrup, club soda with an orange wheel. Just a warning that the ginger flavor is STRONG — it’s the first flavor you’ll get. Enchanted Oak Sap The orange comes in second, though, so you get ginger then orange, and we’re not sure that’s a great combination. However, for being a mocktail, the flavor profile is similar to what you’d expect from a drink with alcohol. You’ll have to appreciate those flavors to appreciate this drink, though. Orange slices in the drink For the boozy side of things, we also tried the Witty Wolf’s Breakfast Sour for $19. It’s made with Rattlesnake Rosie’s Maple Bacon Whiskey, DeKuyper orange Curação, Grade A maple syrup, lemon juice, orange juice, and Angostura bitters, with an applewood-smoked bacon strip. Yep, bacon on a drink. Who would’ve thunk it? So it’s basically a twist on a whiskey sour, but with some additional breakfast flavors thrown in. Witty Wolf’s Breakfast Sour We think this adds to the whole whiskey sour thing — the breakfast flavors like the orange juice add some nice freshness that mellows it out. They also put the bacon flat on top, so when you’re sipping the drink, you’re getting the aromatics of the bacon, which adds a nice smokiness. This is really interesting and makes for a great first drink of the day in Epic Universe. Plus, you get some nice crispy bacon to eat after. Bacon makes it breakfast Overall, we’re okay with drinking our breakfast…just saying. Stay tuned to DFB for more. The current American tariff situation has caused some confusion and anxiety for consumers everywhere, but one popular wholesale retail chain is trying to ease concerns. ©Costco As the current presidential administration moves forward in implementing increased tariffs, regular folks around the world are trying to evaluate or taking their best guess as to what multiple looming trade wars could yield in terms of economic stability. Particularly as it relates to a trade war with China, the CEO of Costco says not to worry…too much. According to Entrepreneur, despite the global economic uncertainty, Costco doesn’t plan to raise its prices significantly nor make any dramatic changes. ©Costco Wholesale During Costco’s second-quarter earnings in March, CEO Ron Vachris noted that Costco intends to keep prices low “by leveraging our global buying power, strong supplier relationships, and innovation.” Vachris acknowledged that predicting the impact of tariffs remains difficult, but the company will remain steadfast in minimizing cost increases. ©Shutterstock Vachris also mentioned that “a third of our sales in the U.S. are imported from other countries, and less than half of those are items coming from China, Mexico, and Canada.” Thanks to this, Costco is expected to have a decent earnings outlook DESPITE the tariffs. ©Shutterstock The retailer expects consumers to be more mindful and purposeful in their spending as the impact of inflation and tariffs becomes more prominent. As such, Costco is prepared to adjust. We may just have to wait and see what exactly those adjustments look like. We’ll continue to keep you posted on this story as it develops, so stay tuned right here at DFB for all the latest updates. So you booked your Disney World trip in May thinking it would be the perfect time to go. Walt Disney World entrance Totally fair. May sounds like a sweet spot — spring break crowds are gone, summer vacation mobs haven’t rolled in yet, and you’re feeling optimistic. But trust us, there are a few curveballs this month likes to throw your way. Before you pack those mouse ears, let’s talk about some mistakes you don’t want to make on your trip. Underestimating the Heat If you’re coming from somewhere that’s still defrosting from winter, you might see Orlando’s May forecast and think, “Oh that’s not bad!” The average highs float in the 85 to 89 range. But last year? We were regularly hitting 95 degrees. Ninety. Five. Things start to get HOT in May That is not “casually stroll through Fantasyland” weather. That is “why am I sweating in places I didn’t know could sweat” weather. So, if you’re thinking of pulling up in your favorite jeans or some super cute but not-so-breathable outfit, rethink that now. Dress like it’s July. Prioritize shade. Hydrate like it’s your job. And yes, bring the fan. You know the one. Also, pack layers since it might be cooler in the mornings and evenings! Skipping EPCOT (Seriously, Don’t Do It) We know not everyone’s an EPCOT person. If your crew is more about thrill rides and characters, EPCOT might fall off your radar. But May is not the month to skip it. Why? Because the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is in full bloom (literally) until June 2nd. 2025 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival The topiaries are next level, the food booths are some of the best you’ll see all year, and the vibes are immaculate. It’s like EPCOT’s spring glow-up. If you didn’t plan EPCOT into your itinerary, try to rearrange things. Even just a half-day gives you time to sample some booths, snap photos with the insane floral displays, and maybe even catch a Garden Rocks concert. Don’t leave this one off the list. Expecting to Ride Test Track (It’s a No-Go) While we’re talking EPCOT, let’s rip off this band-aid now: Test Track is closed. Yup, the high-speed ride is under construction and staying that way until at least late summer 2025. So if that’s been on your must-do list, go ahead and cross it off for now. Test Track construction Disney hasn’t released a specific reopening date, just that it’ll be back “late summer,” which sounds suspiciously like “not anytime soon.” So don’t be that person who plans the whole day around riding it—because you will end up staring at construction walls instead of zipping around that outdoor track. Thinking Big Thunder Mountain is Still Running (It’s Not) Jumping over to Magic Kingdom—another closure you might not know about: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is currently closed for refurbishment and it’s not coming back until sometime in 2026. That’s a long ride off into the sunset. Lots of work happening on Big Thunder Mountain So if you were hoping to scream your face off on “the wildest ride in the wilderness,” sorry, but it’s not happening in May. Make sure you’ve got other thrill rides on your list—Space Mountain, TRON, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train—to fill the Big Thunder void. Planning for New Attractions… Just a Little Too Early Big things are happening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios — but not until the end of May. If you’re headed to the parks before May 27th, don’t expect to see the two newest shows on the block: The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure and Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After. The Little Mermaid: A Musical Adventure Both open on May 27th, and we’re expecting big crowds and major hype around them. If you’ve already booked your trip for earlier in the month, just know you’ll be juuuuust missing these new experiences. Ouch. But if you’re still on the fence about your dates and you really want to be one of the first to see these shows, it might be worth pushing your trip back just a bit. ©Disney We know — it’s a lot. May sounds simple on the surface, but Disney World is always full of those “oh no, I didn’t know that!” moments. That’s why we’ve got your back. You’re going to have a great time!! We know a lot of DFB readers are also Netflix fans, and probably are keeping up with some of Netflix’s hottest shows like Stranger Things, You, Wednesday, and more. ©Netflix However, one issue that many of us face is that when watching our favorite shows, we often prefer to use subtitles, but these subtitles lack customization options. For instance, what if we want to read (or not read) sound cues in addition to dialogue? Now, Netflix has added an option to remove those closed caption cues for a more personalized experience. For those of us who use captions on Netflix that don’t require audio cues, a new original language subtitles option is now available, which will only display the spoken dialogue. Previously, you would turn on Subtitles for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, which includes both dialogue and audio cues, as well as speaker names. Now, though, you can just make those subtitles display the dialogue. ©Netflix Here’s how to choose the dialogue-only option for subtitles: When you open the language picker on the app, you’ll see two subtitle options in English: English, which is just the spoken dialogue, and English (CC), which includes dialogue and audio cues. Netflix has confirmed this will be available in every language. ©Netflix This will come in handy for those shows and movies where it’s hard to hear the dialogue (maybe because the movie or show sound mix is just so bad…which is ALL too common…or maybe because you’re in a noisy room or even maybe you want to keep the sound down if you don’t want to disturb others). You’re also still able to customize your subtitles by changing their size and font, too. Stay tuned to DFB for more. Lots of people fly to and from Disney World. Sometimes those flights are short — only an hour or two — while other people flying from across the country, or to ANOTHER country, could be on a plane for over 5 or 6 hours. Frontier Plane at the Orlando Airport When you’re flying, you have to be close to a lot of people you don’t know, and you’re trying to be respectful of those around you but also attempt to get as comfortable as possible. There’s a major debate that comes to using the reclining feature at your seat that we think should be common courtesy, but a lot of people aren’t doing it. Since those airplane seats are made to recline, it’s easy to think that you’re able to just throw them back and recline whenever you’d like. However, this means the person behind you suddenly has less room than they were expecting, unless they also have their seat reclined. This is especially true in economy, where the seats are closest together. Southwest Now, since your seat DOES recline, yes, you can certainly use that feature, and no one is saying you shouldn’t. It’s especially acceptable to recline when the cabin lights are out or it’s not mealtime. However, it’s important to remember other people around you and how YOU would feel if someone reclined the seat in front of you. This is especially true if the person behind me is using their laptop, and their computer could suddenly be stuck or crushed by the reclining seat. Tray Table So what’s the solution? Well, it’s simple — just take a quick look behind you and who’s sitting there and see if it’s okay to ask them if you can use the recline feature. We know, we know, talking to strangers is scary and often uncomfortable, but it’s a small price to pay for making sure you don’t accidentally spark intense resentment from the person behind you for your whole flight. Southwest Cabin If you can ask them if it’s okay to recline, great, but if you notice they’re sleeping already, don’t disturb them. If they’re using their tray table in one way or another, it’s especially important to ask, because it will affect them with no doubt. Now, if you’re able to catch their eye and they look up from your activity and can ask them, go for it! It’s very likely they’ll move their laptop or tablet quickly, then put it back in place once you’ve reclined. American Airlines Plane While there are certainly people in the world who will be honest with you and will tell you if reclining is not okay, we think there’s a larger portion of the population that either genuinely won’t mind it, or they’ll say it’s fine even if it’ll secretly annoy them. HOWEVER, by still asking them, you’ve given them the opportunity to say no, and simultaneously given them the heads up for what’s about to happen, so you’ve done your part. More Recent Travel News! Epic Universe officially opens its doors to the public on May 22nd, which is less than a month away! Epic Universe We’ve been visiting the park a LOT lately to make sure we can help you plan your upcoming vacation so that you don’t feel like you’re walking in unprepared. If you’re staying at a Universal Orlando hotel, one of the perks you receive is Early Entry into the theme parks, but we just noticed that this popular perk currently is NOT available for Epic Universe on one very important day. Epic Universe recently revealed its opening day hours, and upon closer examination, we found that there are currently no Early Park Admission hours listed for May 22nd. This means that no matter which Universal Hotel you’re staying at, the only two parks currently eligible for Early Admission that day are Volcano Bay and Islands of Adventure. ©Universal Now, beginning the next day, May 23rd, Early Park Admission hours are available at Epic Universe, and this continues through the current calendar date. So, why is there a restriction on May 22nd, you may ask? ©Universal Well, we still don’t know exactly what Universal has planned for opening day! The opening day could involve a special ceremony, which might require Universal to carefully regulate exactly when people can go inside the park. Plus, Universal may be anticipating some opening day kinks that will need to be worked out. According to a Universal Team Member, during early previews, the park is operating at around 20% capacity. Seeing as the park is sold out on opening day, that’s going to be quite a jump in park attendance. That said, we’re just speculating here; Universal has not made any official announcements about Early Admission on May 22nd. Portal Entrance to Isle of Berk As a reminder, the Early Park Admission perk comes with a few rules. First of all, only Universal Orlando hotel guests and other select groups can access the parks early. That means valid theme park admission is required. Early Admission is typically up to one hour prior to park opening, though Universal Volcano Bay allows access up to 30 minutes prior to park opening. Additionally, not all parts of the parks are open for Early Admission, and available theme parks, attractions, and times for Early Park Admission may vary. The Burning Blade Tavern We’ll be sure to keep an eye on this development and let you know what we see. More Recent Epic Universe News! There are literally HUNDREDS of things to do in just Magic Kingdom alone… But what do YOU need to prioritize at this popular Disney World park during YOUR next trip? Cinderella’s Castle Ah, Magic Kingdom… a place where there are no ugly pictures of Cinderella Castle, where the amount of rides for all ages is good ‘n’ plentiful, and where you can eat your weight in Mickey premium bars while lying on the hub grass and no one’s gonna think less of you. Magic Kingdom is a fan-favorite Disney park for many — and for good reason. There’s SO much to see and EAT here, and we’re gonna let you know about some of our favorite snacks! Magic Kingdom isn’t exactly our FAVORITE park to grab a sit-down meal at, but when it comes to snacks? OOH, BOY, that’s a WHOLE other ballgame, my friends! So, without further ado, we’re gonna let you know all about our TOP Magic Kingdom snack choices — some sweet, some savory, and some a little bit of BOTH. Hushpuppies The Hushpuppies from Columbia Harbour House in Liberty Square are a “practically perfect” classic side item from this surf and turf quick service — but we like to treat ‘em as a SNACK all on their own. Hushpuppies They’re nice and crispy on the outside, thick and doughy on the inside, and just all-around deep-fried golden cornmeal balls of goodness with a few complete whole corn pieces smushed into all the fluffiness too, adding a hint of sweetness to this otherwise savory snack. We love these!!! And best of all? You can get a basket of these for just $5. The Gaston’s Tavern Trinity Before, our MAIN snack recommendation at Gaston’s Tavern in Fantasyland was the Warm Cinnamon Roll. And we stand by that! The warm cinnamon roll is filling, it’s thick and creamy, and it’s big enough to share, making it a GREAT breakfast option for those who are starting off their day with a rather large sweet tooth. Gaston’s Tavern — Warm Cinnamon Roll But recently, two MORE snack items were added to Gaston’s menu that we think have proven themselves MORE than worthy of being top MK snack contenders, as well. The Crème Brûlée Croissant took Fantasyland by storm when it debuted back in 2024 — and for GOOD reason. This sweet snack is made of a crispy croissant dough filled with vanilla bean custard and a glazed sugar layer covering the top. Not to be cliche (or sound like a vampire), but this treat was love at first bite. Once we sunk our teeth into all those sweet layers and cracked through that thin, creme brûlée-like baked sugar topping, we were already wondering when we’d have time to place our NEXT order before we finished up the FIRST one. Creme Brulee Croissant And if you prefer the savory stuff, the Ham and Gruyère Tart from Gaston’s is also a solid snack choice — made of crispy croissant dough, topped with ham and gruyère, and served with a side of chips for around $10. Once again, Gaston’s hits a home run with their croissant texture. The crust on this snack is soft, buttery, and flaky, and the savory ham pieces are salty, adding the perfect amount of extra chew. Then, you’ve got all that melted gruyère on top, adding a whole other layer of creamy, cheesiness that’s almost fondue-like. Ham and Gruyere Tart The moral of this story? You need to try Gaston’s Tavern, like, YESTERDAY. Spring Rolls The Adventureland spring roll cart is pretty unassuming, located right at the entrance to Adventureland. But that doesn’t keep the DFB team from tracking it down each time we’re in the park — because we are head over heels for the unique spring roll options served here. (And we’ve BEEN head over heels for ‘em for years and years and YEARS now) YUMMM –Adventureland Spring Rolls While the spring roll flavors switch out often (providing something new to try nearly EVERY time you visit), the one flavor that tends to stick around is the cheeseburger variety. Cheeseburger Spring Rolls Each spring roll order comes with two deep-fried and super crunchy rolls. But if you can’t decide which flavor to try — take a leap of faith and try both! You’re more than welcome to get two of the same flavors, OR you can choose to get one of each flavor for the same $9.50 price tag! (Depending on availability, that is. These spring rolls do tend to sell out towards the end of the day, so be sure to get in line for them SOONER rather than LATER) Candied Bacon Skewer Bacon is great. Candy is great. Snacks served up on a stick are great. So you put ‘em all together and whaddya get? HEAVEN. SHEER HEAVEN. The Candied Bacon Skewer at Westward Ho in Frontierland is a huge, thick piece of bacon, served with potato chips. That’s some thick bacon! Even though the flavor of the bacon is nice and smoky on its own, the candied brown-sugar coating gives the whole thing sweet-and-savory vibes — which is what REALLY pushes this over the top for us. The bacon meal Note: the texture of this bacon might not be for everyone — since this is more like a thick fatty piece of bacon rather than a thin and crispy one — so if you’re the type of person who only eats your bacon super well done (if not a little burnt), then this might not be the best snack for ya. Pineapple Upside Down Cake If you prefer to eat your DOLE Whip slightly soaked into a dense pineapple upside-down cake — you can order over at Aloha Isle in Adventureland. Pineapple Upside-down Cake from Aloha Isle Refreshments This cake has LOTS of chunks of pineapple baked right into it so that each sponge and dole whip bite is PACKED with tropical goodness. Does pineapple cut up our tongue each time we eat it? Sure. But is the pain worth it? Yooooooou betcha! Look at that cake! Snacking around Magic Kingdom is one of our favorite pastimes. In fact… snacking around Disney World, in general, is one of our favorite things to do while we’re inside the parks! We’re SCREAMING! Disneyland Celebrities have been visiting Disneyland since the “Happiest Place on Earth” first opened back in 1955. Over the last 75 years, major figures from politics, film, sports, and culture have visited the park, often with cameras in tow. Recently, an acclaimed Hollywood actress paid a visit. They captioned the post with “Screaming seeing these two queens together at @Disneyland ” and tagged the actress, a reference to Roberts’ role in the cult favorite television show Scream Queens. Roberts has a long career beyond that horror/comedy series. Born into a family of Hollywood royalty (Her father is actor Erik Roberts, and her aunt is actress Julia Roberts), Emma Roberts first burst onto the entertainment scene in the 2001 film Blow. Since then, she has starred on the Nickelodeon series Unfabulous. In the two decades since, she has appeared in many films, including Aquamarine, Nancy Drew, Hotel for Dogs, Valentine’s Day, Lymelife, Scream 4, Adult World, We’re the Millers, The Blackcoat’s Daughter, Holidate, and Madame Web. She’s appeared on the small screen in the aforementioned Scream Queens, as well as various roles across multiple seasons of the FX anthology series American Horror Story. ©Disney/FX Actress Emma Roberts recently paid a visit to Disneyland, which the company officially shared on Instagram. Is this real life or just a glitch in the Matrix? Nope, it’s real — and it’s actually a huge Disney deal. Animal Kingdom Lodge One of Disney World’s most iconic and expensive resorts — Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge — is suddenly way more affordable than usual. We’re talking prices so low, they made us double-check the math. And yes, it involves those Savanna View rooms. Let’s talk about what’s going on, who qualifies, and why this deal is blowing up right now. So…Why Is Animal Kingdom Lodge So Much Cheaper? Disney doesn’t just throw massive discounts at deluxe resorts for fun. But right now, we’re looking at not one, but TWO major ways to score Animal Kingdom Lodge for a price that honestly feels like it belongs in 2012. First, Disney+ subscribers in the U.S. can book a Savanna View Room at Animal Kingdom Lodge for $339 per night this summer (2025). That’s a deluxe resort with giraffes outside your window level for cheaper than some Moderate resorts go for during peak season. The offer is valid on 2-night stays or longer for most nights between June 29th and July 31st, 2025. Animal Kingdom Lodge Second, if you’re from the UK or Ireland, Disney is rolling out the red carpet for your 2026 trip. How does €164 per person, per night sound? Oh, and that includes park tickets, Memory Maker, Park Hopper, FREE dining, and a €200 discount. We’ll get into the details in a sec but this is the type of deal that’ll make you rethink your vacation plans real fast. Let’s Break Down the UK/Ireland Deal If you’re planning a trip between January 7th and December 19th, 2026, and you’re booking from the UK or Ireland, here’s what you’re getting for €164 per person, per night when you stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge for 14 nights: FREE Disney Dining & Drinks (worth €1,273 per adult) A 14-Day Magic Ticket for the price of a 7-Day Ticket Park Hopper access Memory Maker (aka all your park photos, worth $210) And that sweet €200 off your Hotel & Ticket package Oh, and it only takes a €65 deposit per person to lock it in Animal Kingdom Lodge And yes, that’s at a deluxe resort where you can literally wake up, sip your coffee, and watch zebras stroll past your balcony. This is not your average “free hotel breakfast” kind of vibe. But Wait…FREE DINING?! Yep. It’s back — and this time, it’s baked into the UK/Ireland 2026 vacation package. For every night of your stay, every person in your group gets meals and drinks at over 170+ dining locations across Disney World. That includes everything from quick-service spots to signature dining and character meals. Sanaa Bread Service The value here is wild. A €1,273 savings per adult just on food? That’s like getting a whole extra vacation worth of meals for free. Whether you’re grabbing Mickey bars, Le Cellier steak, or sipping cocktails at a fancy resort lounge, it’s all part of the deal. Why Is This Happening? Disney is trying to get people to commit early, especially those planning big summer trips. These promos help fill resort rooms ahead of time, and they’re clearly targeting families who want value without giving up the deluxe resort experience. Animal Kingdom Lodge It’s also a way to make Disney+ subscribers feel like they’re getting a little extra bang for their monthly subscription — and let’s be real, a discount on a $700+/night room is a pretty solid perk. View from an Animal Kingdom Lodge room As for the UK/Ireland bundle, it’s Disney making a play for international travelers who need to plan far in advance. Including things like park tickets, meals, and Memory Maker in one neat package makes the whole trip feel simpler and more manageable — and the price point makes it extremely tempting. Should You Jump on It? If you were already thinking about a 2025 summer trip and you’ve got a Disney+ account, that $339 Savanna View deal is an easy win. Deluxe resort, animals roaming outside your room, and a price that’s usually reserved for Moderate stays? Yes, please. Savanna view And if you’re in the UK or Ireland looking ahead to 2026, this is one of those “don’t sleep on it” offers. Between the savings, the park perks, and the food included, it’s basically the Disney World cheat code. Just remember, bookings open April 29th, 2025, and you’ll need to reserve by November 5th, 2025, to snag that price. Savanna View Room at Animal Kingdom Lodge So yeah…Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge isn’t suddenly “cheap,” but it is finally attainable — and that’s a major shift. Whether you’re going for the giraffes, the dining, or just want to live your best deluxe life for way less, this might be your moment. Don’t want to go through all of the stress of booking your Disney World trip alone? Reach out to our friends at Small World Vacations! New Alaska Airlines Tiana Plane Takes Flight to Disneyland Alaska Airlines is inviting guests to embrace adventure, dream big and soar across the skies with its new and most enchanting aircraft inspired by Princess Tiana from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “The Princess and the Frog.” Named “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer,” this is the first Alaska Airlines plane to feature a Disney Princess! After the big reveal and joyful celebration at a gate ceremony in Portland, Ore., passengers boarded the inaugural flight to Orange County, Calif., to visit The Happiest Place on Earth — the Disneyland Resort. The specially painted plane will fly on routes across Alaska Airlines’ network for the next several years. Bringing Princess Tiana’s Story to Life in a Bold, New Way The plane’s exterior artwork celebrates the latest chapter in the princess and entrepreneur’s story featured in Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, the exhilarating water-based attraction and music filled journey in the newly renamed Bayou Country at Disneyland park. Adorned with images of Princess Tiana in her adventure wear, Louis the Alligator splashing among the water lilies on the bayou, and a brilliant trail of friendly fireflies flowing from the plane’s nose to tail, the Boeing 737-800, tail number N596AS, is Alaska Airlines’ ninth livery in collaboration with Disneyland Resort. To create this delightful design – which even includes Mama Odie and Prince Naveen on the winglets – it took artists more than 2000 hours to hand paint the vibrant aircraft exterior. Now, watch how the artists painted the Tiana plane! Enjoyment Onboard “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer” For fun onboard, kids may enjoy a snack pack for purchase beginning this summer while supplies last. “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer” Joins Fleet of Beloved Disneyland Resort-Themed Planes Alaska Airlines’ other Disneyland Resort-themed planes include: “Mickey’s Toontown Express,” picturing Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, along with their pals Goofy, Pluto, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck in Mickey’s Toontown at Disneyland park. The space-black “Star Wars Transport to the Disneyland Resort” livery that celebrates Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland park. “Friendship and Beyond at Disneyland Resort,” which portrays larger-than-life versions of Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Jessie in Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure park. “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer” arrives just in time to bring visitors to Southern California for the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration, which begins May 16, 2025, and runs through summer 2026, honoring seven decades of happiness and many moments of joy in the making.
