You can do everything right in Disney World. You can wake up early, successfully join the virtual queue for TRON Lightycycle / Run at 7AM, and arrive bright and early at the Transportation and Ticket Center to rope drop Magic Kingdom. But even if you manage to do everything right, sometimes, things STILL go wrong. Beep Beep! Recently, we were all set to arrive in Magic Kingdom first thing in the morning when an unexpected problem totally thwarted our plans. Sigh. Even when we do everything right, some days, things just don’t go our way. Well, the silver lining here is that we got to see something pretty RARE, so, of course, we have to show YOU! On January 5th, we made it to an express monorail headed straight for Magic Kingdom. But during our short journey to the park, a Cast Member message shared a message that our monorail had to reverse its course BACK to Disney’s Contemporary Resort. According to the Cast Member, the monorail in front of ours was having some issues. This is a lesson in patience, for sure. But all in all, we only lost about 30 minutes due to the little hiccup, so it really wasn’t so bad! In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more. This is your reminder that securing your virtual queue spot might get harder in just a few days! TRON There are so many changes coming to Disney World in just a few short days between park passes ending for select ticket holders, park hopping returning without restrictions, and the Disney dining plan returning, that it’s hard to remember what else may be changing with them. This is one change though you’ll want to keep at the front of your mind each morning otherwise, it could throw off your entire day’s plans. We know what you’re thinking, “Another change at Disney World?” but believe us when we say, you’ll want to be sure you KNOW how this change will work once it rolls around, otherwise, it could spell disaster for your park plans. Crowds in Magic Kingdom Disney World is bidding park pass reservations goodbye starting January 9th, 2024 for most visitors (except for annual passholders). This means that if you’re planning on visiting Disney World with a ticket that’s tied to a certain date, you won’t need to choose which park you’re visiting before you arrive… but wait, there’s more! ©Disney Virtual Queues are free reservations that allow you to join the standby line for attractions without having to purchase an individual lightning lane to ride. Right now, there are two rides with virtual queues at Disney World — TRON Lightcycle / Run and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. There are certain times of day when the virtual queues open. At those times, you join the queue through the My Disney Experience app. And then, you wait — except you don’t have to go get in line! You can be doing other things around the parks while you wait in line virtually. Once your turn to join the actual line is “called” you’ll be notified in the My Disney Experience app with a time window for arrival. TRON Lightcycle / Run We LOVE virtual queues! You’re essentially waiting in line for the newest and most popular rides that have waits of multiple hours — WITHOUT standing in line. It’s one of the greatest things we’ve seen introduced at Disney World in the past few years! Now, let’s talk a little bit about how the CURRENT virtual queue system works. Before the changes that start on January 9th, 2024, those who were looking to ride either of these attractions needed to make a park pass reservation for the preferred attraction’s respective park for the morning and then attempt to secure a virtual queue to ride on the app starting at 7AM. If you had a park reservation for EPCOT, you could only try to get a virtual queue for Guardians of the Galaxy — you couldn’t try to get a virtual queue for TRON in Magic Kingdom, and vice versa. This process allowed you to only have to vie against those who were signed up to visit the same park that morning. Additionally, you could make a second attempt in the park after you had scanned in to visit for the day at 1PM, but again, only if you had already scanned into the park. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Here’s where this process is about to get a bit tricky! Once the park pass reservations go away on January 9th, 2024 for day visitors and select ticket holders, you will be able to try for either virtual queue … or both! Let’s say that on Wednesday of your vacation, you’re planning to go to Magic Kingdom. You are on your phone and ready to snag that virtual queue reservation right when they open up at 7 a.m. on Wednesday morning. But, the virtual queue sells out in seconds! You could jump over to Guardians of the Galaxy and try for a virtual queue for it — because you can just change your plan and go to EPCOT on Wednesday if you get one. You don’t have to worry that you don’t have a park reservation for EPCOT anymore. See what we mean? Cosmic Rewind queue But the “extra chance” you gain at getting a virtual queue means lots of people have the same chance — so there could be MORE people trying for your desired virtual queue (there’s always a downside, amiright?). Keep in mind, though, that you’ll only be able to secure one virtual queue at a time. You can’t get in the virtual queue for both rides first thing in the morning. So how do you feel about the changes coming? Do you think this will make it easier or harder for you to snag a ride? We’re waiting to see how well this is received once the new changes are implemented but, be sure to check back in with us for more information about Disney news, planning, and more! 5 Big Changes Bob Iger Has To Make in 2024 Join the DFB Newsletter to get all the breaking news right in your inbox! Okay, so we’re guessing a lot of you have signed up for Disney+, right? ©Hulu We’re definitely subscribers ourselves (Bob Iger can thank us for helping him with his #1 priority). Here’s a question for ya: do you also subscribe to Hulu? Well, it might seem a little confusing now that Disney+ and Hulu are going to be bundled together. But what if you have Disney+ but haven’t wanted to spring for Hulu just yet? Well, depending on your mobile phone provider, you could get Hulu for FREE. T-Mobile just announced that it’s giving customers who pay for its most expensive plan, Go5G Next, FREE Hulu as of January 24th. Here’s the thing: you’ll get free access to Hulu for as long as you have that plan with T-Mobile. It isn’t a limited-time deal, so it could mean customers could theoretically get Hulu for free FOR LIFE if they stay with T-Mobile. (Or keep getting free Hulu as long as the offer sticks around, anyway.) Hulu sign in Disney’s Hollywood Studios Hulu isn’t the first streaming subscription service that T-Mobile Go5G Next customers have been offered. The service also currently offers free Apple TV+ and Netflix. Plus, T-Mobile customers get free season-long subscriptions to MLB.TV every year (that’s for you baseball fans). T-Mobile did the math, and they’re basically offering customers $400 in streaming services per year. ©T-Mobile This new offer with Hulu, or as T-Mobile calls it, “Hulu On Us” is for the Hulu with ads option. Now, T-Mobile customers can enjoy shows like The Handmaid’s Tale, Only Murders in the Building, and more for FREE and can stream from any of their devices. ©Hulu T-Mobile’s Go5G customers also get free in-flight Wi-Fi and streaming on select U.S. airlines, so if you want to watch Hulu on the go — or in the air — you can! Visit the T-Mobile website for more details. Or, if you’re currently a T-Mobile Go5G customer, be sure to download Hulu on January 24th. We often stress the importance of trying to plan your Disney World trip during off-season times. CROWDS This can be a great way to avoid chaotic crowds, longer wait times, and missing out on hard-to-snag reservations. Holidays and school breaks are often the worst times to visit, but you also need to look out for under-the-radar events like runDisney races and more. Speaking of which, here’s why you might want to AVOID Disney World in early February. Heads up if you’re planning an upcoming trip to the parks — you might want to avoid Disney World and the general area on February 4th and the surrounding dates! The NFL Pro Bowl is being hosted at Camping World Stadium in Orlando on that date. ©NFL So, what does that have to do with Disney World? Well, it will likely mean a lot more visitors to the area which could impact traffic and even the amount of people in the parks. Folks in town might take advantage of being in close proximity to Disney World and decide to make a trip out of it. On the other hand, this also means you might get the chance to see some celebrity sightings if you are in the parks during this time! ©Camping World And, if you’ve already got your trip planned for the weekend of February 4th and are worried about what that might mean — don’t fret! You can still have an excellent time. February can be a slower month in general with people settling back into routines after the holiday season, and you can always take advantage of Genie+, Disney World transportation, Early Theme Park Entry, Extended Evening Hours, and more. Magic Kingdom No matter when you’re planning your next Disney World trip, we’ve got plenty of tips and tricks you can use to have the best time possible! Disney legend and beloved actress Glynis Johns passed away at the age of 100. ©IMDb Glynis Johns was most known for her role as Mrs. Winifred Banks in Disney’s Mary Poppins film, though the actress starred in several other movies and television series, including her own series, Glynis. ABC News confirmed via Glynis Johns’s publicist that the actress died Thursday, January 4th, 2024, from natural causes. Johns was born on October 5th, 1923, in Pretoria, South Africa. Her D23 biography states that Glynis Johns made history after receiving a degree to teach dance at age 10. Her first adult role came in a film titled 49th Parallel. By 19, Johns was the youngest actress to play a lead character in the theatrical production of Peter Pan. The actress went on to star in films such as The Promoter, The Sword, General Electric Theatre, and, most notably, Mary Poppins. ©IMDb Johns was named a Disney legend in 1998. Film critic Leonard Maltin pointed out in his book The Disney Films, “She lights up the screen the minute she appears [in Mary Poppins].” ©Disney In 1960, Johns won an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Mrs. Firth in The Sundowners. Disney Dining Plans are returning on January 9th, and we’ve got all the resources you need to make the MOST of your plan! Eats at Citricos Buying a Disney Dining Plan is basically a way to pre-pay for all of your food for your Disney World vacation. You pay for the plan upfront and then get a certain number of credits to use at Disney World restaurants and snack stands. But watch out — not ALL restaurants on Disney World property accept the Dining Plan credits! To help you prepare for your trip and decide whether buying a Dining Plan is worth it for you, here’s a full list of all the table service restaurants that accept the Disney Dining Plan. When Dining Plans return to Disney World, they’ll look a little different than they did before. Rules have changed, some restaurants have updated their credit requirements, and the prices have changed as well. We’ll be testing out the new Dining Plan, so stay tuned to DFB for everything you need to know! New to the Disney Dining Plan? Here’s a quick run-down. Disney Dining Plans are an optional add-on to a Disney World Vacation Package (which also includes your Disney World hotel room and theme park tickets.) This means that the Disney Dining Plan is exclusive to guests staying in a Disney World Resort hotel. Disney Dining Plans are pre-purchased, so all you have to do when you get to Disney World is head to a restaurant that accepts the Disney Dining Plan and you’re good to use it! Morimoto Asia Here’s that full list of the table service restaurants that accept the Dining Plans in Disney World. Please note that this list is always subject to change. Many restaurants — especially those owned by third parties and not by Disney itself — will wait until later on to confirm their participation in the Disney Dining Plan. Disney World can get crowded! There’s no way around it. We understand that it’s difficult to avoid people when the park looks like this! And sometimes it feels like there’s nowhere to get away from those crowds with the millions that flock in every year. But that’s why we’re here. We’re bringing you a list of places you’ll definitely want to avoid if you’re trying to escape the Disney World crowds! We’re coming off the most crowded week of the year at Disney World — the week between Christmas and New Year’s — and that got us thinking about all the places we avoid crowds (some of us are INTROVERTS, and we’ve been perfecting this list over years of going to Disney parks every day). Here are the places to avoid if you need to feel a little less people-y for awhile! Main Street, U.S.A., during any of the parades Typically, Main Street, U.S.A., is charming — it can even feel like the quaint small town it was built to resemble on busy park days. But during parades, it becomes like Grand Central Station! WOAH If you’re not a fan of elbow-to-elbow action, you’ll want to steer clear from here! Do you know about the Disney World parade that only happens one weekend a year? Click Here! EPCOT during any of the festivals EPCOT’s festivals are a feast for the senses. The food, the flowers, the fun — it’s all there. But so are the people. Expect crowds vying for a taste of the magic. Getting even busier Whether it’s the International Food and Wine Festival or the Flower and Garden Festival, they’re all like magnets for crowds, so brace yourself for lines and bustling streets if you happen to be there during one of the festivals. Here’s a Guide to Every EPCOT Festival! The Most Popular Attractions During Rope Drop Rope drop is the moment when the park opens its gates, and avid Disney-goers rush to their favorite rides. Ironically, this can be the worst time to escape crowds, if everyone is headed to the SAME popular ride. We see this happen especially often in Animal Kingdom, where it seems everyone at rope drop is rushing to Avatar Flight of Passage. Line for Flight of Passage Time and again, we see the wait times for Disney World’s most popular rides go down later in the evening, near park close. Remember that you can get in line for an attraction even 1 minute before the park closes and still be able to ride — so if you don’t want to be in the wall-to-wall mad dash for a popular ride in the morning, maybe head to a differet area of the park first thing and check back later in the day. Expect to Wait a LONG Time for These 6 Disney World Rides. Any of the Shows Disney World has some pretty spectacular shows like Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo: The Big Blue … and Beyond, and they draw audiences into a world of wonder. Festival of the Lion King crowds However, these enclosed spaces can become breeding grounds for crowds, so if you’re seeking solitude, you’ll want to opt for open-air attractions instead. Have You Heard About the NEW Show Coming to Disney World in 2024? Any of the restaurants during popular meal times Hungry? Join the club. But if you’re thinking of hitting a restaurant during the usual lunch or dinner hours, be prepared for a serious dining hustle. It’s crowded enough already Maybe consider brunch or a late lunch to avoid the hungry masses — and don’t forget that at many of the fast food locations in Disney World, you can use mobile order to minimize your wait in line! It works through the Disney World app, and we have a guide to mobile order right here to help. Look out for crowds! Those are just a couple of places you’ll want to steer well clear of when you’re trying to find your zen in the Disney chaos. The Disney Dining Plan is BACK after a multi-year hiatus and we’re answering your burning questions about how it’s all going to work! Full spread at Plaza Restaurant When it comes to making your dining decisions, there’s a lot you need to consider — and with the Disney Dining Plan, you’ve got some rules and restrictions to worry about. But, you don’t need to worry anymore because we’ve got you covered! Before we get into the BIG questions, there’s a major one you might be asking: What is the Disney Dining Plan? We’re glad you asked. Disney Dining Plans are an optional add-on to a Disney World Vacation Package (which also includes your Disney World hotel room and theme park tickets.) This means that the Disney Dining Plan is exclusive to guests staying in a Disney World Resort hotel. Disney Dining Plans are pre-purchased, so all you have to do when you get to Disney World is head to a restaurant that accepts the Disney Dining Plan and you can use it! My whole meal! There are only two Dining Plan options when it returns — the Standard Disney Dining Plan and the Quick Service Disney Dining Plan. According to the Disney World website, inclusions for the Standard Disney Dining Plan are as follows: Everyone in the travel party will receive 1 Table-Service meal per night, 1 Quick-Service meal per night and 1 snack/nonalcoholic drink per night of their package stay—along with 1 Resort-refillable drink mug. Meals and snacks can be redeemed at any time during the stay. Beverages are included with each meal. Guests under 21 years of age may choose from a variety of nonalcoholic beverages. Guests 21 and older with valid identification may substitute for beer, wine and cocktails. The cost for the Standard Disney Dining Plan for 2024 is $94.28 per adult, per night (ages 10 and up), and $29.69 per child, per night (ages 3 to 9). When the Standard Disney Dining Plan was last available in 2020, the cost was $78.01 per adult, per night, and $30.51 per child, per night. Full spread at Geyser Point According to the Disney World website, inclusions for the Quick Service Disney Dining Plan are as follows: Everyone in the travel party (ages 3 and up) will receive 2 Quick-Service meals per night, and 1 snack/nonalcoholic drink per night of their package stay – along with 1 Resort-refillable drink mug. Meals and snacks can be redeemed at any time during the stay. Beverages are included with each meal. Guests under 21 years of age may choose from a variety of nonalcoholic beverages. Guests 21 and older with valid identification may substitute for beer, wine and cocktails. The cost for the Quick Service Disney Dining Plan for 2024 is $57.01 per adult, per day, and $23.83 per child (ages 3 to 9), per day. When the Quick Service Disney Dining Plan was last available in 2020, the cost was $55.00 per adult, per night, and $26.00 per child, per night. Eats at Eight Spoon Cafe Now that we’ve covered the basics, let’s answer some questions! What do you get with a table service credit at lounges and bars? This is the first time that Disney World bars and lounges will be accepting dining plan credits, but that means you’ll have to use table service credits at them. Lounges often have smaller plates or different menu styles, which can make it difficult to figure out just how those credits will be used. The full spread! For example, at a lounge like Enchanted Rose at the Grand Floridian, in exchange for a table service credit, you’d get an entreé, drink, and dessert like you would at a table service spot. But, keep in mind that entreé may be a smaller portion and there may not even be dessert on the menu, so choose your lounge wisely if you’re considering using a table service credit! How do Pizza Pickup credits work? Pizza Pickup is available at select Disney World hotels and requires 2 quick service credits total — not per person. In exchange for 2 total quick service meal credits, you’d get one large pizza and two beverages (nonalcoholic or alcoholic if you’re 21 and up.) Pizza So, for example, you’d spend 2 quick service credits and could receive: One large pepperoni pizza 1 bottle of Coca Cola 1 16oz. Bud Light Pizza pickup can be a great way to fill a family for not a lot of money, so keep it in mind on your next trip! Will hotels have a list of qualifying Disney Dining Plan restaurants? Since dining locations are subject to change, your best bet is to visit the Disney World website for the most up-to-date information about which restaurants qualify for the dining plan. Hotels used to provide a list of restaurants to people at check-in, but in this age of technology, the website will have the most accurate information. Breakfast Of course, you can always count on Disney Food Blog to have the most up-to-date information on our list of Disney Dining Plan restaurants page. Click the link below to see more! See the FULL LIST of Disney Dining Plan Restaurants Will the My Disney Experience app keep track of dining credits? Your usage of the Disney Dining Plan will be electronically linked to your reservation, which means there are a few different ways you can keep track of your meals and snacks: View your remaining meal and snack credits in My Disney Experience (the Disney World app) Check your dining receipts for a print out of remaining meals and snacks Ask the front desk or concierge at your hotel Three Bridges Bar and Grill Keep in mind that unused meals and snacks do roll over day to day, so if you don’t use credits one day you can use them the next. But, credits expire at midnight on the date you checkout of your hotel — meaning they won’t roll over from trip to trip. Will third-party restaurants accept Dining Plan credits? Certain third-party-owned and operated restaurants do accept dining plan credits, like Jaleo, The Edison, and more. But, that is not the case for all non-Disney-owned restaurants. For the full list of restaurants that do qualify, check the Disney World website or our post here. Will table service locations that offer to-go service accept Dining Plan credits? Certain Disney World table service restaurants offer to-go dining for guests, which begs the question — can you use dining plan credits on takeout at these locations? We did some digging and found that yes, you can! As long as the table service restaurant accepts dining plan credits, you will be able to use them for to-go orders as well. Cosmic Ray’s food Are there specific requirements for what qualifies something as a “specialty drink”? The dining plan differentiates between drinks and “specialty drinks,” but what exactly does that mean? Well, it will vary by location, but generally, you can assume it refers to milkshakes, smoothies, specialty coffees and teas, and things like that. Will Regal Eagle Smokehouse accept quick service Dining Plan credits for same-day EPCOT festival packages? During EPCOT festivals, we’ve seen Regal Eagle Smokehouse offer same-day dining packages making it one of the only quick service restaurants to do so. We had wondered if this meant you could use quick service credits to purchase a festival package, but no — that’s not the case. Are you ready to say goodbye to your favorite Starbucks drinks in Disney World? Starbucks in Animal Kingdom Well, it comes with the territory because some of those faves are only seasonal, meaning you can only get them at certain times of the year. We’re mourning the loss of those beloved fall drinks, like the Pumpkin Spice Latte and the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew. We’re also saying goodbye to those holiday drinks we love. But it’s okay — because new drinks have taken their place. Some huge menu changes have come to the Starbucks locations in Disney World. These locations include: Main Street Bakery in Magic Kingdom Connections Cafe in EPCOT Trolley Car Cafe in Disney’s Hollywood Studios Creature Comforts in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Starbucks at Disney Springs Marketplace Starbucks at Disney Springs Westside Connections Cafe in EPCOT So first, the seasonal holiday drinks have been removed from the menu. This includes the Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai, Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte, and the Peppermint Mocha. The good news is that we should see most of these, if not all, return for the 2024 holiday season. Is it too soon to start the countdown? Peppermint Mocha However, some other drinks have been added to the menu, including some returning Oleato drinks — those actually contain olive oil. Another drink is also available now: the Iced Hazelnut Oatmilk Shaken Espresso. Iced Hazelnut Oatmilk Shaken Espresso — Starbucks Blonde espresso combined with notes of roasted hazelnut, shaken together with ice and topped with oatmilk Oleato Caffé Latte — Starbucks Blonde Espresso infused with Partanna extra virgin olive oil, steamed with oatmilk. We even see exclusive early releases for Disney+ subscribers online for some items. We just found one of the coolest exclusive merch drops, and we need to share it with y’all. The new item that Disney announced isn’t just any old merch you typically see in the parks. While we love seeing exclusive MagicBands, pins, ears, and more — we have to say, this is a LOT cooler. 2023 wasn’t the best year at the box office for Disney. ©Disney Disney released over a dozen movies in 2023. Among those movies, you’ll find Elemental, Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3, and The Little Mermaid. Many people around the world watched and enjoyed the movies Disney released last year, but was it enough to become the highest-grossing movie studio in 2023? Let’s take a look at the box office numbers to find out! In an article by Variety, they break down the box office numbers to show us how Disney compared to the other major movie production studios. Let’s just say it wasn’t Disney’s best year. ©Disney In 2023, Disney’s 17 new movies made $4.827 billion at the box office worldwide. To most people, this probably sounds like it was an amazing year for them — however, that isn’t the case. One of Disney’s biggest competitors, Universal Pictures, beat them at the box office for the first time in years. Universal Orlando Universal earned a total of $4.907 billion at the box office in 2023, which puts them at a clear lead over Disney. Having released movies like Mario, M3GAN, and Oppenheimer — it is easy to see how Universal slid past Disney when it came to box office sales. Universal Studios This marks the first time since 2015 that Disney has not been the box office leader. In a note released to the press and shared by Variety, Disney claimed that they took second to Universal because they released seven fewer movies than their competitor this year. However, it is also important to note that this is the first year since 2014 (except for 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic) that Disney hasn’t had a single film cross the $1 billion threshold. ©Disney To finish out our leaders in box office numbers in 2023, we have Warner Bros. following Disney in third place, which made $3.84 billion globally. In fourth place, we have Sony — who made $2.094 billion at the box office. ©Warner Bros. While Disney coming in second place in box office numbers isn’t something we see every year, we’ll be interested to see if the trend continues in 2024. ©Disney In 2023, Disney did not have a single movie title in the top three this year — but they had seven movies in the top ten. They had four of the highest-grossing global releases and three of the biggest domestic releases. ©Marvel The top 3 movies at the box office in 2023 were Warner Bros. Barbie, which grossed $1.4 billion. This was followed by Universal’s The Super Mario Bros. Movie, making $1.3 billion, and Oppenheimer, which came in at $950 million. ©Warner Bros. Attention Annual Passholders! January 11th is an important day if you’re planning a trip to Disney World. Disney World Annual Pass A LOT of changes have been happening at Disney World recently, and we know it can be difficult to keep track of them all. The Disney Dining Plan and all-day Park Hopping return on January 9th, several rides are closing for refurbishment this month, and you’ve got to watch out for some hotel pool closures as well. But don’t forget about the critical change happening on January 11th! What exactly is happening on January 11th? That’s when Good-to-Go days start for Disney World Annual Passholders! Good-to-Go days are days when Annual Passholders can enter the parks without a Park Pass Reservation. Annual Pass card After the pandemic-related closures in 2020, Disney World started requiring Park Pass Reservations in addition to park tickets for guests to enter the theme parks so that they could better control capacity. Those Park Pass Reservations are going away for date-based tickets on January 9th, but Annual Passholders still need to make those reservations in order to visit any of the Disney World theme parks (since an Annual Pass is not a date-based ticket). Annual Pass entrance The exception to this rule used to be Bonus Days, but now Bonus Days are being replaced by Good-to-Go days. Basically, if a day is a Good-to-Go day, Annual Passholders don’t need any reservations to go to any park. Annual Pass But what about blockout dates? Depending on which Annual Pass tier you have, there are certain blockout dates when you cannot enter any of the theme parks (usually around the holidays or other particularly busy times for Disney World). Blockout dates still apply to Good-to-Go days, so even if one day is “Good-to-Go” for some Annual Pass tiers, if your tier is blocked out, you cannot enter the parks. Disney World Annual Pass Disney announced that they’ll start adding Good-to-Go days to the Annual Passholder calendar on January 11th, 2024. The 11th might not be a Good-to-Go day itself (we’ll have to wait and see!), but that’s when you’ll be able to see which days you can visit the parks without a park pass. Hollywood Studios Some Annual Passholders have asked what will happen if they already have a Park Pass Reservation but then that day becomes a Good-to-Go day. Disney has announced that existing reservations on days that become Good-to-Go days will automatically be removed from your Park Pass limit, even though your reservation will still appear in your future plans. So you’ll be able to use that Park Pass Reservation on a different day! Annual Pass Magnet Pretty easy, right? Disney said that Good-to-Go days will be added on a rolling basis, days or weeks in advance. It sounds like they might appear on short notice sometimes (just a few days in advance isn’t much heads up!), so make sure to keep an eye on the calendar when you have an upcoming trip. Annual Pass entrance at Magic Kingdom This change follows another relaxing of Park Pass Reservations rules that arrived in April 2023, which allows Passholders to enter the parks without a reservation after 2PM, except for Saturdays and Sundays in Magic Kingdom. Cinderella Castle If you’re an Annual Passholder, you’re probably already a pro at planning Disney World vacations. But why make it more stressful than it needs to be? We are SO close to the EPCOT Festival of the Arts that we can almost taste it. 2023 Festival of the Arts Recently, Disney released a TON of news about all the festival booths, food offerings, and activities for park guests to enjoy. We may still be a few weeks out from the beginning of this festival, but there is no better time than the present to take a look at the menu, get excited, and plan out what you’re going to eat! What is equally as exciting is the news about a NEW popcorn bucket that will be available for the festival — and we honestly can’t wait to get our hands on it. We LOVE our popcorn buckets here at DFB, and we always get excited when we see a new one being released. When we said that we can’t wait to get our hands on this one, we meant it. Take a look at the NEW EPCOT Festival of the Arts popcorn bucket! The NEW Popcorn bucket! This popcorn bucket is bringing back the love for everyone’s favorite imagination dragon — Figment! We are OBSESSED with how this bucket came out. It is inspired by Figment’s attraction — Journey into Imagination with Figment. The shape looks just like the building that houses the attraction, keeping the same sense of wonder and whimsy. Could you follow the bouncing Figment? This bucket will be filled with rainbow popcorn, and as you can see, you’ll be able to gauge how much you’ve eaten so you know when it is time to get that refill! Let’s just hope Figment doesn’t eat all of it first. Figment’s Inspiration Station in 2023 Back in 2022, we saw the introduction of a Figment popcorn bucket that caused 6-hour-long wait times! We love Figment, and we know there are tons of other Figment lovers out there. We have a feeling we’re going to see a LOT of Figment fans in EPCOT on January 12th. If you’re interested in picking one up, you can visit Figment’s Inspiration Station at the Odyssey. 2023 EPCOT Festival of the Arts We’re keeping our eyes out for all the incoming news about the Festival of the Arts.
