There’s A LOT happening right now at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and I’m worried that not all of it is good. ©Disney Hollywood Studios is going to look mighty different in the near future as the park continues to evolve. The Magic of Disney Animation will reimagine Animation Courtyard in 2026, while the MASSIVE Monsters, Inc. Land project is currently underway, transforming Muppets Courtyard into Disney World’s very own Monstropolis (Disney’s first-ever suspended coaster included!). While The Muppets are being kicked out of their, they aren’t truly leaving Hollywood Studios — instead hopping over to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. While this change is exciting and welcome, there’s one big caveat that has us incredibly worried that the ride’s reimaging could be a complete letdown. Currently themed after the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band Aerosmith, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster will be adjusted to star The Muppets in a new musical adventure, featuring a Scooter (the Muppet band manager of Electric Mayhem) animatronic, penguin audio engineers, and music from some of today’s biggest stars. It all sounds amazing, but the ride’s timeline is concerning. ©Disney Disney announced that the ride is set to reopen with The Muppets in the summer of 2026. That’s all fine and dandy, except Summer 2026 will be here before we know it, and the ride has yet to even close for this lengthy refurbishment! As each day passes, Disney is limiting itself on time to perfect this latest version of the attraction. Now, we’re 100% here for a quick ride update. Epic Universe was built in like .2 seconds, so we know amazing things are possible in a short amount of time. But Disney isn’t known for speedy updates and changes. ©Disney Ultimately, there are two problems that could arise from this short turnaround. The first is obviously a delayed opening. Without a closure announced, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster’s refurbishment is starting closer and closer to that summer opening timeline…that is, if the timeline stays the same. It’s possible that the ride reopens later than expected because Disney is waiting to start the project. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Frankly, that’s not as big a concern as the one we have if the timeline stays the same. The limitations of a short makeover have us — and other Disney fans — scared. Will Disney World just slap some animatronics and new decor on the ride? Will it feel more like an overlay?! Will the retheme really be worth it? Some realities put our fears to rest, however. The ride will continue to use the same track, and installing a whole new layout would take a good chunk of time. With that NOT being a concern, time isn’t as pressing as it would be for something like the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad project, which has received a new track over in Magic Kingdom over the course of a year-plus. It’s also inarguable that Disney already knows the ride’s measurements and is completely familiar with the space, so everything can be accurately prepped well before any physical work is even started. Remember, Disney World is essentially redecorating a space it’s already operated since 1999. It’ll be difficult to encounter pitfalls during this project. It’s these facts that have us feeling A LOT better about the direction of this retheme. There’s still much we have to learn about the newest version of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, but you can count on us delivering you all the latest updates right here at the Disney Food Blog! Walt Disney World offers just about every kind of food you could want… if you know where to look. If I’m in the mood for pot roast, it’s the ‘50s Prime Time Cafe; if I’m feeling steak, I’m booking Le Cellier (cliches are cliches for a reason), but before I get too hungry, let’s talk Mexican restaurants. Tacos de Langosta I’ve been visiting Disney World for 30+ years, and during that time I’ve had countless delicious Mexican meals, some of them at Disney restaurants that are a bit… off the beaten path. Frontera Cocina Located in Disney Springs, Frontera Cocina is the brainchild of celebrity Chef Rick Bayless, a 7-time James Beard Foundation Award winner. The eatery offers everything from starters and tacos to entrees, sides, and desserts, as well as freshly made margaritas, craft cocktails, tequila and mezcal flights, beer, and wine. All in a classy, modern setting right in the heart of Disney Springs. Frontera Cocina Last we dined at Frontera Cocina — and enjoyed some live entertainment — we tried the Carnitas Tacos and LOVED them. The $28 dish features low-cooked pork shoulder with an assortment of traditional toppings, including garlic and lime, black bean refritos with fresco cheese, guacamole, pickled red onions, and salsa verde. The meat was cooked perfectly with a great sizzle to it, while being incredibly tender and juicy. Carnitas Tacos The restaurant is also home to one of our favorite cocktails, the La Cava Avocado Margarita. The $19 frozen drink includes Flecha Azul blanco tequila mixed with melon-orange liqueur, along with fresh avocado, lime juice, and hibiscus salt rim. This was the perfect drink to pair with some light guitar music, looking out over Disney Springs. Pure relaxation. ©Frontera Cocina REVIEW: A Margarita TREE and Live Music? It Doesn’t Get Better Than This at Disney Springs Maya Grill Located at the Coronado Springs Resort, this two-level restaurant features decorative Mayan motifs of fire, sun, and water, with a Tex-Mex-infused menu of traditional platters along with chef specialties. From an aesthetic standpoint, the open-air/multi-level layout is one of the most unique in any Disney hotel, and definitely adds a different feel to the dining experience. Maya Grill Last time we visited Maya Grill, we tried several entree options, including some pretty good fajitas. However, our favorite part of the meal was dessert! Specifically, the Fried Baby Churros. These $10 churros were perfectly cooked with a crispy outside and a hint of doughiness in the middle, all of which combined with the included ice cream and caramel sauce resulted in a sweet and crunchy treat. Fried Baby Churros REVIEW: You’re Walking By Some of the Best Mexican Food in Disney World El Mercado de Coronado Remaining at Coronado Springs, there’s also the El Mercado de Coronado food court. While this food court — with its funky, modern design aesthetic, lit by both large windows as well as string lights — isn’t exclusively Mexican food — there are also burgers, chicken tenders, pastas, and pizza to name a few options — there is one overlooked Mexican offering to highlight. El Mercado de Coronado! The food court offers three bowl options: A $16.00 Chicken Tinga Rice Bowl, a $17.50 Barbacoa Beef Rice Bowl, and a $15.00Vegetarian Rice with Esquites Bowl. The bowls include a choice of Spanish Rice, Cauliflower Rice, or House Salad base. Topping options include traditional black beans, roasted peppers and onions, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, shredded cheese, freshly chopped cilantro, and lime. However, you should note that these bowls are only available from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM each day, so if you want to have one, your lunch window is somewhat small. Spanish Market vibes REVIEW: “Shocking” Is How We Would Describe Our Meal at this Disney World Restaurant La Hacienda de San Angel So, on the surface, this restaurant may be hard to call “overlooked.” After all, it’s located right on the World Showcase lagoon, and provides gorgeous views as well as authentic Mexican cuisine and premium margaritas. However, since it’s located outside the self-contained, indoor Mexico Pavilion, some guests may not be familiar with it, especially since the well-known San Angel Inn Restaurante is located inside. La Hacienda de San Angel One of our favorite dishes at La Hacienda on our most recent visit was the Enchiladas de Chorizo. This $32 dish includes corn tortillas filled with plant-based chorizo and topped with beans, Ranchera salsa, Monterey Jack cheese, crema Mexicana, cotija cheese, and crispy onions. The dish is served with a side of plantains, also topped with crema Mexicana and cotija cheese. Enchiladas de Chorizo This dish was served warm, cheesy, and delicious with a deep, rich tomato flavor and soft tortillas. There were some crispy onions on top for a little bit of crunch, and the plant-based chorizo was mild but had a hint of Mexican spices. The plantains on the side were quite sweet, and there was an interesting flavor mixture between that sweetness and the cheese. They were quite soft and smooth on the inside. There’s a lot of change happening in Disney World right now! Some of the changes are sweet, like new attractions, new snacks, and more. Some of the changes, though, have left us a bit salty. ©Disney Disney has also demolished several classic buildings, closed beloved lands, and more! Sure, that’s left us a bit salty, but when life gives you salt, add some butter and popcorn. What makes that popcorn even better? A gorgeous new popcorn bucket to enjoy it in! The new bucket is inspired by the Zootopia: Better Zoogether show, which debuts on November 7th in Animal Kingdom! The bucket shows Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps in their Zoogether Day cop car. ©Disney Judy is taking the wheel… ©Disney … and Nick has hit feet up! We think this perfectly shows the cop duo’s dynamic. ©Disney Disney shared that the wheels do actually move, making this a fun toy for kids long after the popcorn is gone. It features the Zoogether Day logo on the back, plus a license plate that reads Z-Day! ©Disney The bucket can hold a classic popcorn container, or you can put your salty snack right inside. It also features an adorable carrying strap that features characters from the new show in their carrot vision glasses. ©Disney The bucket will be released in Animal Kingdom on Friday, November 7th, to celebrate the new attraction’s debut. You can find the bucket at Mahindi, Chakranadi, and Trek Snacks! We were able to get an early sneak peek of the new show, and we had so many thoughts! We can’t wait to check out the new show with our new bucket and butter-covered fingers. As always, be sure to keep following DFB for more Disney news, updates, and more! As Storyliving by Disney’s first community Cotino continues to take shape in Rancho Mirage, California, it’s making a meaningful impact on students through a new partnership with The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens. Alongside Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment team, they recently hosted a career camp aimed at inspiring the next generation of conservationists. The event welcomed 20 students from Desert Mirage High School’s Green Academy for a day of immersive learning, guided tours, career chats and hands-on conservation activities aimed at helping bridge classroom learning with the real world. The camp marked Cotino’s first community program focused on biodiversity youth education. “The most important species to focus on in conservation is people,” said Dr. Zak Gezon, conservation director for Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment, who spoke to the students about his career journey. “They need to know they can make a difference and that there are great careers in the sciences. The students we’re engaging with today are the decision makers of tomorrow, and they’re going to make a big difference in their communities, for people and wildlife alike.” Dr. Zak Gezon, conservation director for Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment, speaks to students from Desert Mirage High School’s Green Academy during a recent Desert Defenders Career Exploration Camp at The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens in the Coachella Valley. Connecting to a Larger Conservation Movement Leaders at The Living Desert emphasized the importance of showing students how conservation careers operate behind the scenes, offering a glimpse into the diverse roles that support environmental stewardship. “The Desert Defender Career Exploration Camp gives high school students an inside look at how The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens works, and all the incredible team members who make conservation happen,” said Dr. Anna Young, vice president of learning and impact at The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens. “Thanks to Storyliving by Disney’s support, students connect classroom learning to real-world applications and discover how their own talents and passions can have an impact on desert conservation.” Dr. Anna Young, vice president of learning and impact at The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens The camp is part of Desert Defenders, a broader community education initiative led by The Living Desert and supported by Disney. Designed to engage schools and neighborhoods across the Coachella Valley, the program encourages participants to take an active role in conservation through creative, hands-on projects like building native pollinator gardens and designing waste reduction strategies. Investing in Youth, Community and the Future “Conservation begins with connection and with understanding the people who make it possible,” said Dr. Ramsa Chaves Ulloa, sustainability program manager for Disney Signature Experiences. Chaves Ulloa also shared her career highlights with the students. “Through the Desert Defenders Career Exploration Camp, Storyliving by Disney gives students a rare opportunity to see how every role contributes to protecting wildlife and creating community impact. We spark curiosity, build appreciation and inspire the next generation to take action for nature.” Dr. Ramsa Chaves Ulloa, sustainability program manager for Disney Signature Experiences, describes her career journey from her university education in Costa Rica, to her role today. During the camp, students created “pollinator pods,” or small seed balls made from native plant seeds, clay and compost. Gezon and Chaves Ulloa then planted them at Cotino, linking student efforts to tangible conservation work in their own backyard. Through supporting programs like Desert Defenders, Disney helps ensure that students not only learn about conservation but also take part in protecting their desert home. “It was a great experience to be with the animals, to be with the zookeepers and to learn new things,” said Violeta, a Desert Mirage High School Green Academy student who participated in the Desert Defenders Career Exploration Camp. Twenty students from Desert Mirage High School’s Green Academy spent time learning about animals and biodiversity as part of the Desert Defenders Career Exploration Camp at The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens in the Coachella Valley. Walt Disney’s Legacy of Conservation and Storytelling Walt Disney’s connection to the desert began in the 1930s at Smoke Tree Ranch in Palm Springs. His love for the region inspired the 1953 documentary The Living Desert, which blended real footage with storytelling and helped inspire the naming of The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens. In 1993, Disney animators returned to study meerkats for The Lion King, deepening the creative partnership and reinforcing the link between conservation and creativity. Gezon added, “Walt Disney famously said, ‘Conservation isn’t just the business of a few people. It’s a matter that concerns all of us.’ He cared deeply about the natural environment, and that commitment has been part of the Disney difference for over a century.” Discover how Disney continues to invest in youth, community and the future of our planet at impact.disney.com. Shanghai Disney Resort is celebrating a huge milestone: welcoming its 100 millionth guest in just over 9 years. And what better way to celebrate than announcing an expansion? Even more Disney fun will be coming to the resort, and Shanghai Disney just shared a sneak peek. ©Shanghai Disney Resort Shanghai Disney Resort just announced plans to build a brand-new hotel AND expand its shopping, dining, and entertainment district. The new hotel will be located near the entrance to Shanghai Disney, and the development will feature new shopping experiences. Shanghai Disney hasn’t announced too much about the hotel, except that it will be Disney-themed. What type of theme, though? We will just have to wait and see! This will be the fourth themed hotel at Shanghai Disney and will be the closest to the park’s Main Entrance. The hotel will welcome guests into a “premium destination infused with Disney stories and imagination.” It will feature “unprecedented immersive storytelling experiences in a way that Disney uniquely brings to life.” In addition to the hotel, a new Disney shopping destination will also be built. The store will be similar to the World of Disney Store on the opposite side of the park’s main entrance. ©Shanghai Disney Resort The resort currently has two hotels — Shanghai Disneyland Hotel and Toy Story Hotel — with a third one currently under construction. The third hotel is a nine-story deluxe hotel inspired by Shanghai’s architectural legacy and will be decorated in the Art Nouveau style. The hotel’s guiding principle is “authentically Disney and distinctly Chinese.” It is currently undergoing interior fit-out and facade installation, and upon opening to guests, it will offer an “immersive themed accommodation experience.” Shanghai Disneyland Hotel ©Shanghai Disney Resort The new hotel is not the only expansion coming to Shanghai Disney Resort, though. Back in September, the resort also announced an expansion coming to Soaring Over the Horizon. The attraction will be getting an approximately 50% increase in current capacity, AND there will be a new special ending for the attraction! ©Shanghai Disney The resort is also currently working on a new Spider-Man-themed land coming to Shanghai Disneyland. This new land will feature a “high-energy thrill coaster” that is a “high-speed, fully immersive experience.” The coaster will feature a forward AND backward launch — talk about a thrilling experience! ©Disney Stay tuned to DFB for all your Disney news! To many, the holiday season is the “most wonderful time of the year,” and when it comes to Walt Disney World, the most important time of day during that period is 4:00 PM. See, for guests at the Magic Kingdom during November and December, that’s the definitive time of their day. It’s when guests attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party can begin entering the park, and when guests without party tickets need to start wrapping up their day. Decorations during the day I’ve been visiting Walt Disney World for 30+ years, and learned that lesson the hard way back in 2009. That year, I was in Florida with several friends when we decided on a whim to visit Walt Disney World during a free day, and chose the Magic Kingdom without looking at the park’s schedule. We purchased our tickets at a kiosk in the lobby of our off-property hotel (this was in the nascent smartphone era, so not everything was handled online) and arrived at the Magic Kingdom around 10:00 AM… only to discover that it was a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party day, and that the park would be closing to regular day guests at 6:00 PM. In other words, when 4:00 PM rolled around, we needed to start wrapping up our day and rushing to fit in any final attractions. Womp Womp. While that was my loss in 2009, being able to enter the Magic Kingdom at 4:00 PM — three hours before the event technically begins — is a boon to guests attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks They can use that time to have a meal before the party begins, perhaps trying to score dining reservations for in-demand restaurants like Be Our Guest or Cinderella’s Royal Table at a time day guests may be avoiding, as they’ll be ushered out of the park at 6:00 PM. The Grand Ballroom in Be Our Guest Restaurant Party guests can also squeeze in some attractions, or even begin lining up for in-demand party experiences like meeting Santa Claus or Mickey and Minnie in their holiday best. You can meet SANTA The early entry time also allows them to be ready to immediately start taking advantage of the Christmas Party’s offerings as soon as 7:00 PM hits. These include the Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, characters in their Christmas best, and even snow (AKA snoap) on Main Street. ©Disney The 2025 This year’s edition of the party, which will be held on November 7th, 10th, 11th, 13th, 14th, 16th, 18th, 20th, 21st, 25th, 26th, 28th, and 30th, and December 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 9th, 11th, 12th, 14th, 16th, 18th, 19th, and 21st. ©Disney If you’re heading to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this year — OR visiting the Magic Kingdom on a party day — be sure to keep 4:00 PM in mind as it will define your day, one way or another. When we hear the words “new snacks” in relation to Disney World, our mouths almost immediately start watering — especially when those new snacks are coming to Animal Kingdom! @Disney Animal Kingdom is known for having some of the best food in all the Disney World parks, whether it’s full meals or snacks. So hearing that NEW snacks are coming to the park to celebrate the opening of Zootopia: Better Zoogether! was EXACTLY the news we wanted to wake up to this morning! Disney has just announced that when Zootopia: Better Zoogether! opens in Animal Kingdom on November 7th, there will also be THREE new treats to grab all around the park! Zootopia: Better Zoogether! Starting off strong, over at Isle of Java, you’ll be able to grab Clawhauser’s Big Donut Macaron. This is a macaron filled with chocolate ganache, strawberry jelly, and covered in chocolate glaze with rainbow sprinkles. It looks amazing, and we can only hope it tastes as great as it looks! ©Disney Coffee lovers, rejoice! Also available at Isle of Java will be the new Bunny Burrow Brew, which is Joffrey’s French Roast Cold Brew with condensed milk and blueberry syrup garnished with whipped cream, a sugar carrot, and chocolate crisp “blueberries.” This also looks tasty and cute as can be, and we’re really hoping it’ll hit the spot. @Disney Eight Spoon Cafe will soon be home to the new Cub Soda, which is a non-alcoholic drink made with Sprite, blueberry syrup, and a pawpsicle-inspired ice cube. This sounds like it’ll be a huge hit with kids, as well as anyone who loves that classic blue raspberry flavor (it’s me, I love blue raspberry, so I’m STOKED). And that ice cube?! Come on now, that’s ADORABLE. ©Disney That’s not all. Finally, the Zoogether Bucket is coming to Mahindi, Chakranadi, and Trek Snacks in Africa! Now, this isn’t technically a new snack, as it’ll be filled with the classic Disney popcorn (but hey, who doesn’t love that?), but the bucket itself is, of course, new. The bucket looks like the green and teal vehicle seen in the new attraction, with Judy at the wheel and Nick right beside her. There will be a limit of two per person, per transaction, and we’ve got a feeling it’ll sell out, so grab it fast! ©Disney Looking for more recent Animal Kingdom news? Check out our posts below! Disney4me posted a topic in Disney Connect
Shanghai Disney Resort is embarking on another ambitious expansion project, unveiling plans for a fourth themed hotel and a vibrant extension of Disneytown’s shopping, dining, and entertainment experiences. This announcement marks a historic moment, as the resort celebrates the welcoming of its 100 millionth guest — solidifying its place as China’s most visited theme park. The new hotel, located just steps from the entrance to Shanghai Disneyland, will serve as a gateway to unforgettable adventures and lifelong memories. Guests will be immersed in Disney’s signature storytelling and innovation from the moment they arrive, with unique accommodations and exclusive access to areas that extend the magic beyond the park. Today, there are more projects underway at Disney Experiences than at any other time in the company’s history. The ongoing expansion and development efforts at Shanghai Disney Resort are fueled by growing demand from guests and fans from across China and around the world, and have included: Toy Story Land, Ignite the Dream nighttime spectacular, the highly popular Zootopia-themed land, which will soon debut Zootopia 2 hidden gems, the upcoming Spider-Man themed land, and the expanded popular attraction Soaring Over the Horizon. The Resort’s commitment to creativity and excellence has made it one of the top five most visited theme parks in the world, according to the TEA Global Experience Index 2024 recently released by the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) on October 23, 2025. “Shanghai Disney Resort’s extraordinary momentum reflects our unwavering commitment to bringing more Disney stories and characters to new audiences around the world,” said Josh D’Amaro, Chairman, Disney Experiences. “This dedication, coupled with our global investment in innovation and expansion, fuels a future where the Resort continues to inspire, delight, and set new standards as a landmark destination for generations to come.” A rendering of the upcoming fourth themed hotel at Shanghai Disney Resort “Our guests inspire us to dream bigger and innovate further,” said Andrew Bolstein, President and General Manager of Shanghai Disney Resort. “With every new experience, we reaffirm our promise to deliver the magic of Disney in ways that resonate with families across China and around the world.” The new hotel will join the resort’s existing accommodations — including the Art Nouveau-inspired third hotel under construction on Wishing Star Lake — offering even more options for guests seeking immersive stays and breathtaking views. Unforgettable experiences at Shanghai Disney Resort are brought to life by dedicated Cast Members. Demonstrating an ongoing commitment to their well-being, a multifunctional residential community is being developed with thoughtfully designed living spaces, recreational amenities, and vibrant communal areas — all created to support, celebrate, and enrich the Disney employee community and workplace culture. As Shanghai Disney Resort continues to expand, it invites guests from near and far to discover new adventures, create unforgettable memories, and experience the wonder that only Disney can deliver. The time has almost come to step aboard the newest Disney Cruise Line ship, and there aren’t words to describe how much we’re looking forward to it! We’re here! The Disney Destiny is Disney’s newest cruise ship (the Disney Adventure would have been right behind it in December 2025, but the maiden voyage has now been delayed to March 10th, 2026), and it’s getting ready to set sail for its maiden voyage from Port Canaveral on November 20th. Ahead of that exciting day, though, it has to first arrive in Port Canaveral, and we’re thrilled to say that that day is TODAY! Every second we’re spending on board just makes us even more excited to set sail. Welcome! Say hi to Superhero Minnie! She’s one of the icons of the ship, and we have a feeling she’s going to be one of the busiest meet and greets. Minnie, you look incredible! Gorgeous! Just look at the way she lights up the sky. The Disney Destiny The Disney Destiny will offer 4 and 5-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, during her inaugural sailing season, which will also include stops at one or both of Disney Cruise Line’s destinations — Castaway Cay and the new Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. However, from Summer 2026 and into 2027, the ship will offer 3 to 7-night cruises to The Bahamas as well as the Eastern and Western Caribbean. ©Disney For the first time ever, guests will need to choose between Heroes and Villains onboard, and you’ll find decorations, theming elements, and experiences dedicated to both your favorite Disney Heroes and Villains, so no matter which you choose, you’ll have lots to do! We know that we’ll see characters from The Lion King, One Hundred and One Dalmatians, and Hercules, just to name a few. When talking about the theme of the ship, Disney said that Imagineers were “inspired by the dynamic duality of every great Disney story when developing this new ship, where opposing forces of light and dark drive characters to rise to their purpose.” ©Disney You’ll find Spider-Man on the stern of the ship, Black Panther in the Grand Hall, and the three rotational dining restaurants are none other than Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King, Worlds of Marvel, and 1923. There are incredible lounges to explore, themed to Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Cruella de Vil, and Doctor Strange. ©Disney There truly is so much to explore on this new ship, some of which we recognize from other ships in this class (the Disney Treasure and Disney Wish), but there are plenty of totally new experiences to check out as well. We’ll be setting sail on the inaugural sailing in just a few weeks and will be bringing you every single tidbit of news to help you feel prepared for your upcoming trip. If you’re already subscribed to Disney+, you might think you know everything your membership includes, with hours of binge-worthy shows, blockbuster movies, and exclusive content you can’t find anywhere else. ©Disney But what if we told you your subscription also unlocks some serious perks that could save you time, money, and maybe even some travel stress? Disney+ introduced Disney+ Perks, a program that gives members access to exclusive limited-time offers, and two of them are pretty incredible! Let’s talk about the two Disney+ perks you’ll definitely want to check out, because both could be worth much more than your monthly subscription fee. 3 Months of CLEAR+ for Free If you’ve ever found yourself stuck in a long airport security line (and let’s be honest — who hasn’t?), this perk is a total win. Disney+ subscribers can now enjoy three months of CLEAR+ for free, which lets you speed through security at airports and venues nationwide. CLEAR uses biometric verification, like your eyes and fingerprints, to get you through security lines faster. It’s designed to save frequent travelers’ time and the stress of airport check-ins. ©Disney However, there are a few details you’ll definitely want to know. After your three-month free trial, your CLEAR membership will automatically renew for another 12 months at the standard rate (which can change over time). You’ll get a notification 30 days before your card is charged, and you can cancel anytime before the trial ends to avoid being billed. Also, note that in-person verification is required at a CLEAR Enrollment Center before you can start using those speedy lanes. As long as your Disney+ subscription is active during the promotion period, you’re eligible to redeem. Just be sure to review CLEAR’s terms and conditions before signing up. It’s a great perk for travelers or Disney fans flying into Orlando for their next park trip, but make sure you set a reminder if you plan to cancel before the free trial ends! TSA lines at MCO 6 Months of DashPass The second Disney+ perk is one you can use without leaving home. Subscribers can enjoy six months of DashPass, which is DoorDash’s membership program that offers $0 delivery fees and reduced service fees on eligible restaurants, grocery, and retail orders. If you love having dinner, snacks, or even last-minute essentials delivered, this one can save you serious cash. ©Doordash There are a few important things to keep in mind, though. This offer is only for new DashPass users, meaning you can’t have been subscribed to DashPass (even on a trial) within the last three months. You must have an active Disney+ subscription to redeem, and after your six-month free trial ends, you’ll be automatically charged the then-current monthly or annual DashPass rate plus applicable taxes, unless you cancel first. DashPass benefits only apply to eligible orders that meet each merchant’s minimum subtotal, and other fees and tips still apply. The offer must be redeemed by February 26, 2026, and it’s limited to residents of the U.S. and Puerto Rico. ©DoorDash Just remember to read the fine print and set reminders before your free trials end so you can decide whether to continue or cancel. These are some of the hidden Disney+ benefits that are easy to miss, but once you know about them, it’s too good not to share! For more Disney news, be sure to follow us at DFB! If you’ve visited Disney World almost every month out of the year, you know that Florida can get hot (and some months are WAY HOTTER than others). We love this thing! That’s why it’s essential to take precautions against the heat, such as staying hydrated (which is why we always recommend using water bottles) and seeking shade and cover in air-conditioned areas whenever possible. However, there’s another thing we also recommend: a portable handheld fan. We’ve got one portable fan, in particular, that’s always in our park bag, and you can grab it on Amazon now for $14. DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. Get the JISULIFE Handheld Mini Fan It’s multi-functional Okay, we LOVE this fan because it’s multi-functional. Not only is it a rechargeable fan with multiple settings, but it also doubles as a flashlight and charger. It’s also so compact. This one folds nicely, so it takes up very little space in your day bag. Folded up — yes, it has little Mickey ears! If you’re traveling to Disney World, this is a must. Because it’s also a charger, that’s one less thing to pack in your day bag when you’re in the parks. If you’re a big fan of collecting special Disney merchandise, especially FREE Disney merchandise, you won’t want to miss this new Magic Key offer! Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Magic Key holders are Disneyland’s version of Annual Passholders, and similar to Disney World’s annual pass system, Magic Key holders often get access to special deals, discounts, events, and more that regular guests aren’t eligible for. If you’re a collector AND a Magic Key holder, there are new collectible cards you can begin snagging THIS week, but from what we’re seeing, many passholders are NOT happy about it. The Disneyland Magic Key account on Disneyland just released a new offering for all Magic Key holders, and it begins this week! From November 3rd through November 27th, you can collect a new holiday card each week. The limit is one card per Magic Key holder while supplies last, and you must go INTO the park to collect it. @disneylandmagickey on Instagram Based on the video Disney released online, it appears the new cards will be released on November 3rd, November 10th, November 17th, and November 24th. While these cards will be completely free to collect, from the comments on Disney’s Instagram post, many Magic Key holders are NOT happy. Why? Well, because you can only collect the cards Monday-Thursday, which means a LOT of Magic Key holders who work, or are only available to visit on weekends, can’t take advantage of this. ©Disney Many other commenters shared that they’d much rather Disney give them a discount when renewing their Magic Key pass, to stop upping the prices on everything, to give Magic Key holders free parking, to remove park pass reservations, or to even bring back the special buttons that used to be available for Magic Key holders. All in all, it appears many Magic Key holders are NOT a fan of this new addition, because they feel Disney has ignored their pleas and requests for other perks and instead has given them something no one asked for, and many key holders can’t take advantage of. Have you ever been surprised by some activity that occasionally happens in Disney World? We’re always coming across something new, and sometimes, it surprises us. ©ABC We’re still surprised, though, when these things turn up. Today, we were surprised to see a sign at EPCOT indicating that America’s Funniest Videos is looking for audience members to vote on some funny videos today in the park. NICE! When we were walking through EPCOT today, we saw a sign posted that read “AFV: Voting Audience Needed. Please come join us today for America’s Funniest Videos Voting.” So, apparently, AFV is looking for a voting audience in EPCOT today, and if you’re in EPCOT, you might have a chance to participate…and even make your voice heard when it comes to the funniest videos in the country. AFV is in EPCOT today We got a chance to do this last year and showed up to vote at the World Showcase Pavilion (which is the huge backstage building behind the U.K. and Canada pavilions). We got to watch a ton of videos, laughed a lot, and then voted on our favorites. We highly recommend taking time out of your day to do it, if you can. It’s one of those unique activities you can do in Disney World that not everyone gets to be a part of. All the voters in our session in 2024 You’ll even get a free souvenir for participating. Last year, we got a special prize: the choice between a t-shirt, hat, or beanie. Our ‘AFV’ shirt! So if you find yourself in EPCOT and see that sign, check it out! Okay, so a lot of brides dream of a Disney wedding, some complete with the whole of Disney World as the setting for their big day (or maybe the Haunted Mansion Parlor on Disney Cruise Line, which would be my personal pick). But if you’re going to have a Disney wedding, don’t you need a gorgeous Disney-inspired wedding dress? ©Kuraudia The answer to that is “yes!” Well, we found a Japanese wedding dress designer, Kuraudia, who makes some of the most interesting and unique Disney wedding dresses we’ve ever seen, so we’re picking five of those dresses and ranking them. Kuraudia just dropped a new collection dedicated to Disney Princesses, but we’re also going to look at some of the other fun wedding dress collections because there are dresses even devoted to some of your favorite characters like Winnie the Pooh and Zootopia! 5. Zootopia Wedding Dress Okay, you have to appreciate the absolute uniqueness of this dress that takes inspiration from Judy Hopps police uniform in Zootopia. How fun is this? Y’all…the dress even includes Judy’s badge! SAY WHAT? SO cute. Oh, also, check out that adorable Nick Wilde suit. ©Kuraudia Zootopia fans need this dress and suit to walk down the aisle. It’s sure to put a smile on their faces and the faces of their guests! 4. Winnie The Pooh Wedding Dress Excuse me, but seeing the silly old bear imagined as a wedding dress is blowing our minds. How adorable is this yellow dress with a red bodice that matches Winnie the Pooh’s shirt? We also love just how poofy the dress is, to simulate Winnie the Pooh himself who is quite fluffy. ©Kuraudia If you imagine a wedding happening in Hundred Acre Wood, you have just found your perfect dress. 3. Rapunzel Wedding Dress Tangled fans are going to appreciate this dress with its gorgeous flowers and colors. Like you just look at this dress and know it’s dedicated to Rapunzel, right? If you’re ready to escape the tower with your own Flynn Rider to see the floating lights, this dress is waiting to be worn. ©Kuraudia This dress has such beautiful, delicate details. We can’t EVEN. 2. Snow White Wedding Dress Who says you can’t get married in red, and this gorgeous red dress will certainly make any bride the fairest of them all. Beware Evil Queens trying to steal your thunder, though! This dress has a lovely fabric with a subtle imprinted pattern on it, plus floral details and trim reminiscent of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. ©Kuraudia This dress even has some lovely bow details on the sleeves. 1 – Cinderella Wedding Dress There is NOTHING like Cinderella’s classic ballgown that the Fairy Godmother makes for her for the ball. This gown is enough to win the Prince over, and this wedding dress channels many of Cindy’s animated dress into this real life version. ©Kuraudia This dress has layers upon layers of fabric to create that ballgown look, along with gorgeous puff sleeves. It also SPARKLES. Kuraudia has a ton of other gorgeous Disney-inspired dresses, so be sure to check them out! Stay tuned to DFB for more. Okay, we’ve been there. You plan a trip to Disneyland, only to discover that one of your favorite rides is closed for refurbishment. Granted, we sometimes have a little heads up when Disneyland closes rides, but we’re never entirely sure of when they’ll reopen. Well, that’s not the case with Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Big Thunder Mountain at Disneyland Disneyland’s Big Thunder Mountain Railroad closed in September for a months-long refurbishment. Well, it looks like as of today, the ride has officially reopened. When Big Thunder Mountain Railroad closed in September, we didn’t have much of a reopening timeline for the ride. Perhaps that’s why it’s so surprising that the ride reopened today. As of today, the Disneyland website is showing hours for the ride. ©Disney Now, don’t get confused because for a while, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad was closed in both Disney World AND Disneyland were both closed at the same time. However, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Disney World is undergoing a MAJOR overhaul, so it’s not going to be reopening so soon (our best guess is sometime in 2026). But if you want to take a cruise on the Wildest Ride in the Wilderness, you can do so on the West Coast! Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Disneyland You’ll also want to keep an eye out for other closures in Disneyland. Storybook Land Canals is currently closed for an update (which will include a new Tangled scene). In Fantasyland, “it’s a small world” is closed while it gets its holiday overlay. Indiana Jones Adventure will be closed for a few days in December. You’ll want to keep an eye on the Disneyland website to stay updated on closures, but we’ll also try to make sure you know what’s going on. So stay tuned to DFB for more. Alright, we’re calling all Disney Adults right now, because there’s something coming up next week that you CANNOT miss. Disney Adults! No, it’s not in Disney World OR Disneyland, believe it or not. In fact, you’ll want to head to the northeast for this event — New York City, to be exact. If you’ve been waiting for the opportunity to meet AJ Wolfe, the creator of DisneyFoodBlog, you’ll want to head to the book signing happening in NYC next week! Next week, on Friday, November 7th at 12 PM (noon), AJ will be doing a book signing for her book “DISNEY ADULTS: Exploring (And Falling In Love With) A Magical Subculture” in New York City! While there are so many spots in New York City to do a signing at, where better than the Barnes and Noble on 5th Avenue? ©Barnes and Noble Tickets for the event cost about $35 and include a copy of the book, as well as the opportunity to meet AJ and personalize your book (first names only). Now that this event is expected to be very popular, we recommend arriving sooner rather than later, as those who arrive late may not be able to meet AJ. The line will begin to form outside the Barnes & Noble at 11 AM, and please know that photos will only be able to be taken on the attendees’ cell phones. ‘Disney Adults’! Tickets for this event could sell out, so we recommend grabbing your tickets ASAP at the link below! Reserve your spot here for the event! Looking for more recent Disney Adults news?
