Contemporary Grounds More recent additions to the bakery case here include a giant (seriously, Joffrey’s donuts are huge) Coconut Donut and a Cronut! At Kona Café, a small adjustment has been made to the Appetizers at this Table Service restaurant. Kona Cafe sign The Pickled Salad has been removed. Kona Café Menu Kona Café Menu And at the neighboring Kona Island, we noticed that the Rainbow Roll was unavailable in the grab ‘n go options. BUT, they may have simply been out of supply for a time. Kona Grab ‘n Go Sushi Either way, it’s good to know that items may vary here. Downstairs (and outside!) at the Pineapple Lanai, there is a new design for the menu, which lists the Te Fiti Lime Dole Whip cone as a regular addition now (as opposed to its temporary-sign status before)! Pineapple Lanai Also, here’s a fun blast from the past… the Tiki Bowl and Sipper have returned! These were available when Pineapple Lanai opened way back in 2014! Tiki Sipper Tiki Bowl (Yep, this dedicated Dole Whip spot will be 5 years old on August 30th!) Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa And our last stop is Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! Citricos The updated seasonal menu at Citricos shows that Charred Octopus replaced the Tuna Tare Tare; Spring Pea Soup replaced the Mushroom Soup; Roasted Beet Salad replaced the Heirloom Vegetable Salad; and a Scallop Risotto has replaced the Lobster Risotto. Citricos Menu At the Grand Floridian Café, a Reuben has taken the place of the Fried Chicken entrée on the Brunch menu. Grand Floridian Cafe Chicken and Waffles As we shared previously, the Buttermilk-Fried Chicken and Waffles hack has been honored as an official item on the Brunch menu! Brunch Menu at Grand Floridian Cafe Finally, at the counter service Gasparilla Island Grill, the Kids’ Roast Beef Sandwich has changed from an Open Faced Sandwich (previously served on a potato chive roll) to a Roast Beef and Cheddar on a Pretzel Roll. Ahhh, the infamous Beverly soda. You know the one — it’s the bitter soda from Italy that’s located in Club Cool in Epcot’s Future World at Walt Disney World. The one you trick your friends into drinking as you photograph their reactions for posterity. Yeah, that Beverly. Club Cool Flavors in Epcot Beverly used to be found only in Epcot’s Future World, but when the Coca-Cola Store Orlando opened in Disney Springs a few years ago, they brought the Beverly with them. (They also brought just about every other international and domestic Coke product, too!) Coca-Cola Store Orlando The Coca-Cola Store is three stories tall and filled with a polar bear mascot meet-and-greet, a rooftop bar, and more Coke-branded merchandise than you’d ever thought possible. Coca-cola Store Rooftop Beverage Bar Area The rooftop bar is a cool space with views for days and a ton of international sodas, Coke floats, and adult beverages. One of these adult beverages is the ominously-named Beverly’s Revenge. We shared the controversial news of this cocktail’s arrival back in 2017 when it was comprised of Hendrick’s Gin, Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur, and Mint (see our review here!). Beverly’s Revenge (Old Version) Spoiler alert (or not): it was…not our favorite. But on a recent trip to Disney Springs, we noticed something different: Beverly’s Revenge is now made with Hendrick’s Gin, Blackberry Liqueur, Cherry Syrup, Mint, and Orange Slices. Would this updated cocktail with the addition of more berry and cherry flavor help rescue our least favorite soda from certain rejection? Beverly’s Revenge Short answer: YES! At first glance, Beverly’s Revenge is a much more appealing color — pink rather than brownish orange. The cherry syrup really comes through in the color. And since we eat (er, drink) with our eyes first, the cocktail is already off to a better start! Beverly’s Revenge And taste-wise: call me crazy but I enjoyed it! My first sip was overwhelmingly Beverly-filled which, blech. But after I mixed the Beverly up with the gin, sweet blackberry liqueur, and sweet cherry syrup, the bitterness of the Beverly acted somewhat like tonic, and the flavors reminded me of a fruity gin & tonic. Is it the best cocktail I’ve ever had? No, but I didn’t hate it, and I’d even drink it again. And for a drink made with Beverly, that is a HUGE compliment. Are you anti- or pro-Beverly? Let us know which side of the cup you land on in the comments! Related posts: New Cocktails at House of Blues in Disney Springs! Oel ngati kameie from Pandora in Disney’s Animal Kingdom! (That’s a local greeting. ) Today we have a NEW (well…kinda) cocktail for you from the Valley of Mo’ara! Mo’ara Margarita Re-introducing the Mo’ara Margarita! But what do we mean by reintroducing? Let us explain… Pongu Pongu When Pandora – the World of Avatar first opened, the local snack stand was (and still is) Pongu Pongu. It’s a great spot to grab a Pandora exclusive beer or snack — like the Pongu Lumpia, which is still one of our favorites. Pongu Lumpia But when Pongu Pongu first debuted, the Mo’ara Margarita was made with Sauza Conmemorativo Anejo Tequila, strawberry and blood orange flavors, and topped with Strawberry Boba Balls. Mo’ara Margarita It was good — we didn’t have any real complaints other than it wasn’t anything super unique flavor-wise, and the tequila didn’t really shine through. It basically just tasted like a frozen Strawberry margarita, not that that’s a bad thing. But on our most recent trip to Pandora, we realized something was a little different… Pongu Pongu Mo’ara Menu Update …the Mo’ara Margarita is now BLUE! (Has Merryweather been here?) Of course we had to try it! NEW Mo’ara Margarita The frozen drink is now made with Sauza Conmemorativo Anejo Tequila and Blue Curaçao with lime juice, and topped with Passion Fruit Boba Balls. Passion Fruit Boba Balls The same way the previous version basically tasted like a frozen Strawberry Margarita, this tastes basically just like a traditional frozen Lime Margarita. The Blue Curaçao helps the Tequila shine through, so this one does taste a little more alcoholic than its predecessor. Still, it’s not super strong by any means. The Passion Fruit Boba Balls are clearly passion fruit — you’ll taste it when they POP in your mouth. Mo’ara Margarita So which one is better? Honestly it depends on which flavor of margarita you like! If you prefer Strawberry margs, you may miss the original recipe. But if you lean towards Lime, then this is the one for you! We give the nod to the updated version because the alcohol shines through slightly more, and honestly — look how pretty it is!! If you’re looking for a cool, refreshing, Instgrammable drink in Pandora, then this certainly fits the bill! Want more Animal Kingdom Eats? Check out our video of 20 Animal Kingdom Exclusive Snacks!! Today I donned a hard hat and work boots to walk out into the site of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge here at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida, which is set to open Aug. 29. I’ve been a Disney Cast Member for a little over a year now, and moments like these are exactly why I wanted to work here. Prior to joining Disney, I covered the theme park industry as a journalist and had the opportunity to visit every Disney park around the world. I’ve seen firsthand why our guests love Disney parks; with so many new and wonderful experiences on the way, it’s a great time to be a fan. But whether we’re talking about sweeping new lands, new attractions or new cruise ships, these projects all have something in common: change and relentless innovation. This is not a new thing for Disney, either. A few years back, I had the privilege of speaking with Disney Legend Jack Lindquist, the first president of Disneyland Resort; one thing he told me I’ll never forget is how during his decades working at the Happiest Place on Earth, he wanted a balance between honoring the past and paving the way for the future. The evolution of Disney parks is inspired by Walt himself, who envisioned new experiences “as long as there is imagination left in the world.” Walt Disney Imagineering President Bob Weis recently said, “We are constantly innovating ways to create new magic – to ignite the imaginations of our guests, excite and enchant them, and immerse them in their favorite Disney stories.” Pirates of the Caribbean is a great example of this fundamental Disney philosophy. There have been many evolutionary moments for this classic attraction since it debuted at Disneyland in 1967, as several enhancements were made over the years. And then in 2016, the attraction was updated again when Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure debuted at Shanghai Disneyland in China. The Shanghai version features a highly advanced propulsion system that provides unprecedented control over the position and rotation of the boats you ride in, while dimensional set pieces combine with large-scale media screens, Audio-Animatronics figures and other special effects to create an experience that feels familiar yet entirely new and exhilarating. It’s one of my favorite Disney attractions on the planet! So as I knock some dust from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge off my boots, I’d just like to take a moment to daydream about some other fantastic new experiences heading our way over the next several years: • Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will open later this year inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at both Disneyland park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. • Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway will roll into Disney’s Hollywood Studios next year and Disneyland Park in 2022. • The largest transformation in the history of Epcot is underway at Walt Disney World Resort. • Disney Cruise Line is adding three new ships to its fleet in 2021, 2022 and 2023. • A TRON attraction is set to open in 2021 at Magic Kingdom Park in Florida, based on the acclaimed TRON Lightcycle Power Run at Shanghai Disneyland. • Shanghai Disneyland is creating a “Zootopia”-themed land. As I stood inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, staring with fanboy adoration at the Millennium Falcon, I thought about these projects and how amazing it is to be part of The Walt Disney Company right now. I’m looking forward to sharing more details with you here on the Disney Parks Blog about these experiences in the weeks, months and years ahead as I help chronicle this unprecedented period of growth for our company. I think I have a lot more hard-hat days in my future…and I can’t wait to bring you along with me! View the full article

Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival kicks off on August 29, 2019, and continues until November 23, 2019. That’s 87 days of food, wine, demos, seminars, and more! With the Festival getting bigger and more complex with each passing year, we figure it’s time to get back to the simple truths — seven, in fact — about Food & Wine. Epcot’s Food and Wine begins August 29, 2019! 1. It’s big. Really big. Food & Wine at Epcot has reached epic proportions, with more than thirty booths in 2017 and 2018. We expect at least as many in 2019, and with each booth serving up three or more dishes, that’s over 100 possible things to eat (and nearly as many things to drink)! If you ate and drank one of everything at the 2018 Festival, the Orlando Sentinel figured the cost to be over $1700. Ireland Booth: One of each! Food booths span real estate not just around World Showcase but also in Future World. That’s almost three miles if you do a simple walk around the park that begins and ends at the gate — and that’s not including back-tracking, those extra steps to find a table for all your food, going to special events, etc. World Showcase Lagoon Yeah: it’s big. Really big. Don’t forget to review menus and check out food and beverage photos here! 2. There’s more than food and wine at Food & Wine. If you think everything you need to know about Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival is in the name, you might be shocked to discover that Food & Wine is also Music & Demos & Seminars & Pairings & Merchandise & So Much More! Read all about Food and Wine 2019 Special Events here! The Festival Center is a hub of activity! In 2018, the Festival offered no fewer than 16 special events (scheduled repeatedly throughout the festival) and hundreds of low-cost or free demonstrations, displays, seminars, and chef encounters. And in 2019, Eat to the Beat brings the musical heat with 34 performers! See who’s on tap to perform in 2019’s Eat to the Beat series! Wilson Phillips at Eat to the Beat Food and Wine should probably be called Food and Everything. Don’t forget: there are lots of low-cost and free Food and Wine experiences, too! Click here to learn more about these seminars and demonstrations! 3. You don’t have to do it all at once. Unless you absolutely only have one day at Epcot during the Festival, know that you don’t have to do it all at once. In fact, you can’t do it all at once — period. It’s just too big. But if you’ve done some advance planning and know what you want to eat, which Special Events you want to experience, and what extras you want to tack on, you can accomplish everything you MUST do and WANT to do. Party for the Senses That said, if you can spread your Food & Wine fun over multiple days — say, 2 or more half-days — you’ll be in a much better position to enjoy yourself. For starters, you’ll need to pace your eating. And then, of course, there’s the stress of dealing with higher-than-normal crowds. The truth is, Food & Wine is best enjoyed at a relaxed pace, and that’s a whole lot easier to accomplish if you don’t try to do it all at once. 4. The crowds can be overwhelming. We just touched on this, but it goes without saying, really: the crowds at Food & Wine can be overwhelming. Add to that exhaustion, seemingly endless lines, a little booze, and the heat and you’ve got a recipe for some potentially icky interactions. But you can mitigate the stress of crowds by aiming to visit the Festival when there are typically fewer people attending. That means hitting the booths right when they open (usually 11AM), avoiding the first and last weeks of the Festival, and sticking to weekdays rather than weekends. When the food booths open, it’s go time for crowds! But if you can’t avoid the crowds, be mindful of your own needs. Take a break in the shade somewhere, or retreat to Future World for some air conditioning and a cup of water. Don’t underestimate the simple things that can give you a second wind. 5. There’s something for everyone. Because Food & Wine is so big and because it attracts guests of all types, Festival planners have included something for everyone. The Festival will have allergen binders (and on-menu notations) to help you find what works for you. Love chocolate? Wine? Epcot-themed purses and tee shirts? This year’s Festival has lots to do for pint-sized chefs and Festival-goers (and their grown-ups)! The Disney Du Jour Dance Party lets kids boogie with their favorite characters, and the Candy Sushi demo is tailor-made for anyone who needs a sugar rush! Makings for the Candy ForYa Roll The Festival will also have a Family Play Zone and a Ratatouille-themed scavenger hunt (it’s called Hide & Squeak!) to help kids run off some energy and get in on the fun! Sebastian’s Bistro is the table service restaurant offering at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. Learn About: Sebastian's Bistro Disney World Restaurants This eatery opened last October as extensive renovations at the Moderate Resort came to an end. Our first visit to Sebastian’s was fine (see our review and first look here!), but we weren’t exactly rushing back to try it. For starters, although it’s a lovely restaurant, it’s off the beaten path a bit if you’re not staying at the resort. But the food also didn’t knock our socks off. It was good, but it wasn’t great. Our advice at the time was not to go out of your way to try it, but that you might give the Caribbean-inspired dishes a whirl if you were nearby. Would our most recent dinner change this recommendation? Or is Sebastian’s at risk of sinking under the sea? The restaurant has already closed its lunch offering, so now it’s open only for dinner. Sebastian’s Bistro Atmosphere Sebastian’s Bistro is the Resort’s replacement for the formerly lackluster Shutters, and the updated decor was a welcome change. Right from the entry, it’s clear you’re in the Caribbean (Disney’s version, anyway). Shutters (the architectural detail, not the old restaurant) give you an island vibe, and the colors are vibrant. Sebastian’s Bistro On this night, the Resort and its centerpiece Old Port Royale (where you’ll find Sebastian’s as well as Banana Cabana and Centertown Market) had been rained upon, and the wet wood surfaces somehow enforced even more dramatically the Caribbean feel. Sebastian’s Bistro The dining room has a breezy, beachy feel due to high ceilings and ocean-inspired colors and fixtures. Sebastian’s Bistro Seating is at tables with comfy chairs upholstered in fabric in shades of blue. The white-washed wood tables are chunky but convey the brightness of the seaside. Sebastian’s Bistro Table settings are simple, with the water-color menu really taking center stage. Because why shouldn’t it? Sebastian’s Bistro The restaurant’s titular crab looks joyful as he cavorts amongst the coral, and if you’re not smiling right now looking at him, are you even human? (Better check for fins!) Eats Sebastian’s opened last October, but as is often the case at Walt Disney World’s table service restaurants, the menu has already experienced some changes. We stopped in for dinner to try a few items we hadn’t previously reviewed. The Drink Menu features a few fun Non-Alcoholic Specialty Drinks (take note, those of you on Disney Dining Plan!), including The Peachcomber, Mutiny Punch, and Landlubber Lemonade. Drink Menu Specialty Cocktails also receive a bit of an island twist with options like a Guava-Rita, the Caribbean Smuggler, and a Caribbean Mai Tai. Where’s all the rum? It’s also here: mixed in drinks and served up in a flight! Drink Menu The menu of Appetizers, Dinner Mains, and an Enhancement include Caribbean flavors like Jerk Chicken Wings, Coconut Shrimp and Grits, and Spiny Lobster Tail. Menu And Desserts offer fruity and chocolatey bits like Mango-Passion Fruit Panna Cotta and Warm Chocolate Pudding (with cocoa nib tuile!). Dessert Menu We ordered the Empanada Sampler, which features two fillings: one grilled fish and one braised beef. Empanana Sampler The fillings are encased in flaky fried pastry, and these were thankfully fried such that they didn’t absorb (and therefore taste of) too much grease. The frying also achieved a nice browning and crisp edges. Empanana Sampler The fish filling is mahi mahi, and while it was fine, this wasn’t a big hit. The flavors weren’t dynamic enough for our group. Empanana Sampler The braised beef, on the other hand, was very flavorful, and the amount stuffed into the empanada was generous. This was juicy and tender — really a great option. We might try ordering this with just beef in the future. So less “sampler” and more “beef”. Empanana Sampler For dipping, the Sampler includes Guajillo Chili Sauce. This is very much a tomato sauce with only a hint of pepper and no heat to speak of, so don’t fret if you’re heat-averse. It was fine but not amazing. Empanana Sampler The Cuban Black Bean Soup was a delicious and hearty option. We imagine a bowl of this in the cooler days of winter would be incredibly satisfying. Cuban Black Bean Soup The stewed black beans are vegan, according to our server, and they were tasty on their own. But for carnivores, the toppings are really the stars of the soup. House-made Chorizo was awesome — spicy, meaty, and delicious. Our only complaint about the chorizo is that we wanted more chorizo. Cuban Black Bean Soup Jasmine Rice, Micro-cilantro, and a swirl of herbed Sour Cream completed the dish, and each element contributed something to the dish. The starchy rice was a nice conduit for the stronger flavors, the cilantro added a light freshness, and the sour cream was a thoughtful contrast. Cuban Black Bean Soup Overall, this was a pretty stellar bowl of soup. Vegan readers will want to confirm when dining at Sebastian’s, but the soup on our visit was vegan, and so without the chorizo and sour cream, it would be a simplified but still yummy option. Note that there are currently also a couple of other vegan/vegetarian appetizer options, making this a pretty good spot for plant-based apps! Cuban Black Bean Soup For Dinner Mains, we went a meatier direction with the Taste of the Caribbean. This is a trio of components (selected by the diner) with sides of rice, black beans, and shaved carrot. We opted for Coconut Shrimp, Jerk Chicken, and Slow-cooked Pork, but other options include Goat Curry and a Plant-based Curry. Taste of the Caribbean Before we dig in, let’s chat about the Goat Curry. Previously, the menu included a Goat Curry option, but it was omitted on the current menu. Our server told us that if diners wish to do so, they can order the Taste of the Caribbean with three servings of Goat Curry. The same is possible for the Plant-based Curry, so vegan and vegetarian diners can opt for that if they wish. (Although there’s a cheaper Caribbean Vegetable Curry that might work, too!) Taste of the Caribbean Okay, back to the meal at hand. The Jerk Chicken component of our Taste of the Caribbean was a tasty play on spicy (from the jerk rub) and sweet (from the glaze). The chicken was grilled (check out those grill marks!), and it was really good. Taste of the Caribbean The Slow-Cooked Pork was our favorite of the trio. It had the right level of saltiness and seasoning, and it was incredibly tender. We could tell it was genuinely slow-cooked. So delicious. We could probably double-up or triple-up on the pork on this dish and be satisfied (and full!). Taste of the Caribbean The Coconut Shrimp was our least favorite component, but that’s not to say it wasn’t good! There just wasn’t anything particularly special about them, so they couldn’t compete with the flavorful chicken and pork. These were fried perfectly and had a good ratio of breading and coconut. Taste of the Caribbean The sides were basic and fine on the dish, with that rice really benefiting from glaze run-off from the chicken. Overall, this was a delicious plate of food. And at $32 for this main entree, it could be a terrific table-service credit value on the Disney Dining Plan! (Pair it with a cocktail and dessert for a total DDP value of well over $50!) Taste of the Caribbean Another great DDP value (and pricey out-of-pocket option) is the Grilled Rib-Eye. This juicy steak is a 10-oz. cut of USDA Choice Rib-Eye, and it’s packed with flavor! Grilled RIb-Eye The flavor comes primarily from a slathering of Chimichurri sauce, heavy on the cilantro and garlic! Grilled RIb-Eye The steak was cooked to our specified doneness, so no complaints there. And while the server explained the steak is not marinated, it certainly eats as if it was — that’s to say, it’s super tender and lovely to eat. Also lovely: the Sweet Potato-Plantain Mash! This was surprisingly good. We found it to be a decent balance of sweet and savory, and it was a colorful accompaniment for the steak. Grilled RIb-Eye Adding freshness to the dish is a pile of Arugula Salad tossed in a light vinaigrette and some Roasted Peppers. We enjoyed these, too! Roasted Peppers We ended our thoroughly indulgent meal with one more indulgence: Classic Mile High Key Lime Pie. Why the mile-high moniker? Classic Mile High Key Lime Pie This is why! A veritable mountain of shiny vanilla meringue! It’s toasted golden-brown, and it was fun to eat. But if you’re not a meringue fan, you’ll definitely want to go a different direction because this is pretty serious. (Notice, though, that the meringue is separated from the key lime custard itself by a thin layer of… we’re not sure. It didn’t add any flavor, but we surmise it’s there for stability.) Classic Mile High Key Lime Pie The key lime custard itself was dense, rich, and tart: really, really delicious! Classic Mile High Key Lime Pie Though the menu doesn’t say this, our slice came with a scoop of guanabana sorbet and some diced tropical fruit. According to our server, the kitchen has three flavors of sorbet — guanabana, mango-lime, and guava — and there’s no way to know exactly which yours will come with. So if you have a preference, definitely ask about this when you place your order! Also: hello, thick, buttery graham cracker crust! How gorgeous is that?! Classic Mile High Key Lime Pie In case you were wondering, we could not finish all of this food. Our server kindly packed it up and included some classy plasticware so we could enjoy the leftovers later. This is a great help for those staying at the Resort who want to limit food waste and maximize their midnight snacking! Left-overs all packed up! So, phew! We’re full! Not only that, we left very satisfied from this meal experience! Nosh or Not? Make a deal with a sea witch for some fins so you can swim into Sebastian’s if: You love the flavors of the Caribbean and want to enjoy them on vacation. You’re calling Caribbean Beach home, and you want to try all of the Resort’s restaurants. You’re on a mission to try cuisines of the world while in the World. Point your feet elsewhere if: You aren’t staying at or traveling near Caribbean Beach Resort. Table service meals or Resort dining aren’t on your schedule this trip. The flavors of the Caribbean just aren’t your thing. (There’s LOTS of cilantro.) Overall This visit to Sebastian’s was definitely a step-up from our last one. And while we still think it’s too inconveniently located to be a must-do recommendation, once the Disney Skyliner opens, it may well be more accessible and worth the 5-15 minute trip through the skies from Epcot. For sure the flavors evoke the Caribbean, and the atmosphere is both relaxed and elegant, making it a nice place to dine overall. Will life always be the bubbles at Sebastian’s Bistro? We can’t know for sure… so we’ll have to swim on back! Interested in the Disney Skyliner gondola system that will carry guests over Walt Disney World and to and from Caribbean Beach Resort? Toy Story 4 is officially in theatres, and to celebrate Disney has released a bunch of new merchandise! We’ve already given you a sneak peek into some of it by showing you the new Dooney & Bourke collection and the Forky Magic Band. Toy Story 4 Dresses But, now we have a few more items to show you. And we’re not gonna lie, we really don’t know what to think about one of them… So, today we noticed a few new dresses at The Dress Shop at Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District. And while one of them isn’t too out of the ordinary…the other is! Toy Story 4 Dresses The first dress we noticed was a more vintage looking dress covered in a fun Toy Story 4 print. This silhouette really is the norm at The Dress Shop. Toy Story 4 Dress The dress is a dark green-bluish color and has the most adorable lace trim. We love the print as it is covered in friends both old and new like Woody, Bo Peep, Forky, and more. Toy Story 4 Dress The back of the dress has a nice bow to tie the look together. You can get this dress for $128! You can also find this Toy Story 4 dress online here. Toy sTory 4 Dress Then, we noticed something a little out of the ordinary in the Dress Shop…oh yeah, we spotted a Bo Peep Jump Suit! And honestly, we really don’t know how to feel about it. Do we love it? Do we hate it? We seriously don’t know. Bo Peep Outfit This outfit looks very similar to the one Bo Peep wears in the film…so, that’s pretty cool?! Another interesting thing about this outfit is that it’s two looks in one — because there is a removable polka dotted skirt. So, you can wear it as a dress or you can remove the skirt and wear it more like a jumper. And get this, once you removed the skirt…it’s intended to be worn as a cape. YES, A CAPE. Bo Peep Outfit The inner portion of the skirt is lined with a different material, that matches the upper center portion of the bodice. And on one of the pant legs, you will spot Bo’s sheep. The dress/jumper/pantsuit…whatever you want to call it is $168. What do you think about this new merch option? Would you wear it? For those of you who would, you can find the Bo Peep jumpsuit and convertible skirt online here. Of course, Bo isn’t Bo without her flock of sheep, so to complete your Bo Peep look you can also pick up this purse. Sheep Purse The purse, which has Billy, Goat, and Groff, three of Bo’s sheep, on it is SUPER soft. Sheep Purse AND the sheep have the cutest little hooves. Have you ever seen anything adorable? You can round up this sheep purse to add to your own flock for $65. The Billy, Goat, and Groff purse is also available online here. Sheep Purse To keep this fun look going, you can also pick up a pink bow headband, much like Bo’s. Bo Peep Headband It too has Bo’s sheep on it along with her famous staff. This bright pink and totally-necessary-if-you’re-rocking-the-jumper accessory is $15.99. All of these looks are also available in merchandise locations at Walt Disney World. AP Corner Well, today we stopped by and purchased our musical sipper and received a few mementos to celebrate The Lion King as well. The Ocarina Mug has been sold in Animal Kingdom previously — check it out here — but this is its first time popping up at the Disneyland Resort. Ocarina Mug The sipper is covered in a beautiful design, which is made to look like wood carvings. It really reminds us of the Tree of Life in Animal Kingdom. And it has a super fun wind flute handle! Ocarina Mug Ocarina Mug And get this, the musical sipper is actually intended to be played as it comes with a music sheet that will teach you how to play songs like “it’s a small world.” And y’all, it was really fun to attempt to play. Bonjour from France — well, Epcot’s France, of course! The French Pavilion has long been a favorite of ours — and recently they have crushed it (as always) with treats like the Frosé and the new version of the Frangipane! Les Halles Frose But today, we are sharing something food related — though not edible. We were strolling through France when we spotted the CUTEST jacket that we just HAD to share with you ASAP! Ratatouille Chef Jacket Look at this adorable Chef Jacket inspired by Remy from Ratatouille!! Ratatouille Chef Jacket Close-up “Little Chef” is front and center (well, left) on the jacket, which looks like a traditional restaurant chef’s coat. And if you think the front is adorable, just wait until you see the back! Ratatouille Chef Jacket The back of the coat has another illustration of Remy salting one of his creations — which include a croissant, cappuccino, and desserts! There is also a wedge of cheese, because it’s France after all! Gusteau’s restaurant logo is also prominent in the design. To top it off the back reads “Ici c’est moi le chef” which translates to “It is me, the BOSS.” (Well, technically it says “It is me, the Chef” but the Chef is the boss of the kitchen so… .) Do you love Remy and want to wear him outside of the kitchen as well? Then look no further than this adorable Ratatouille tank! Ratatouille Tank Top This fun top has the only rat we’d allow in the kitchen, and the French words of some of our favorite treats, such as chocolat and macarons. Ratatouille Tank Close-up Am I the only one who wishes Remy’s La boîte à Bonbons (Candy Box) was a real treat shop? Last but not least, check out this fun Ratatouille travel mug! The bright colors and drawings are sure to brighten your morning commute! (Well the mug, plus the coffee.) Ratatouille Travel Mug All of these items were spotted in the France’s Wine Shop, which is located behind the fountains in the pavilion, across from L’artisan des Glaces. We think these items are très magnifique!! What do you think — will you be grabbing any of these Remy-inspired items on your next visit to Epcot? Let us know in the comments! We went over to Uptown Jewelers today to check out a laundry list of Pandora charms. Some are brand new, some have been around for a while, but all of them deserve a place in the spotlight. Pandora Villain Charms From classic Disney villains, to Up, the Lion King, and Forever Friends charms, these are simply to precious to handle. I mean, I’m a Pandora charm collector myself and many of these newer options practically have me wanting to throw my money on the counter. Let’s kick things off with the villain charm set, because they really seem to be taking over the kingdom lately with the new Disney Villains After Hours event and the new Cruella de Vil Hide-a-Way event. The set features Disney villains like Maleficent, the Queen of Hearts, and Cruella de Vil. Pandora Villain Charms The Queen of Hearts charm is…of course…in the shape of a heart! The backs of the charms are really cool as well, as they give the charm a bit more villainous personality. The Cruella de Vil charm says vain, vile, and vicious. Maleficent Charm The Queen of Hearts charm reads royal badness. Queen of Hearts Charm And the back of the Maleficent charm says mistress of all evil! Maleficient Charm We really think that this set would be a great way to start your Pandora charm collection…which of course you NEED to DO since Pandora has been releasing such cute charms like the Enchanted Tiki Room charms lately. Another new Lion King set has been released just in time for the film’s 25th Anniversary and the upcoming release of the live-action. The set includes a bangle that reads “remember who you are.” Lion King Set It also has three really fun Lion King charms. This charm is of the iconic Hakuna Matata scene with Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa. Lion King Set Lion King Set There is also a charm with two of our favorite love birds, Simba and Nala. I love the shape and the different colored stones on this one. Lion King Set Of course, The Lion King wouldn’t be what it is without Mufasa. So, you can also get a Mufasa charm as well. Lion King Set I’m personally a lover of all things Up related, so I freaked out a bit when I saw the Grape Soda Pin charm. Grape Soda Charm And lastly, there is also a new Forever Friends charm that has three of Disney’s most iconic characters on it, Mickey, Goofy, and Donald. Forever Friends Charm You can find all of these options at Uptown Jewelers in Magic Kingdom — and we assume they should be at locations like Mouse Gear as well.
