Oktoberfest may be over, but a major change to a cult favorite snack has us coming right back to Epcot’s Germany Pavilion. Epcot’s Germany Pavilion A lot is BREWing in this beloved World Showcase pavilion, including the recent snack addition of boozy caramels. We’re back at Karamell-Küche with an update on a cult favorite snack. We’re talking about their Werther’s Original Hand Crafted Caramel Popcorn. Caramel Popcorn from Karamell Küche So, here’s the SCOOP on what’s been changed. If you’ve ever been to World Showcase, you know that familiar heavenly scent of caramel coming from Karamell-Küche. The caramel popcorn had been available in both a small size for for $3.99, and a larger one for $5.99. We stopped in today to discover a BRAND NEW sign, and now only ONE large size available of the delectable treat. Karamell-Küche Menu Updated The large option is available for $6.99 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit. While it has gone up a $1 in price if paying out of pocket, this is still a GREAT value for use of a snack credit on the Dining Plan. If you were one of the people fond of the small-sized bags, we’re sorry for your loss. Caramel Popcorn Look at ALL that popcorn that’s certain to satisfy even the biggest sweet tooth. Caramel Popcorn While it’s never fun to see our favorite snacks go up in price or limit its sizes it comes in, this might be the extra push you need to order the large (it’s REALLY good popcorn, guys!). If you find yourself strolling around Epcot’s World Showcase, a stop in at Karamell-Kuche is an absolute must! Will you be stopping into Karamell-Kuche on your next visit to Epcot? Let us know below! We LOVE wandering through Epcot. Grabbing a few snacks, riding Spaceship Earth, being caught off guard by something super weird and random… . You know; the usual. Epcot France Pavilion Yeah, so our find today in Epcot was a little more…strange, maybe?, than we expected. Would the word be strange? We’ve gotta show you. We’re wandering through the France pavilion today, and we headed over to check out the custom parasols. Did you know you can buy custom parasols over near the bridge in France? We always like to look at the latest displays, and today there were two new-to-us versions! First, this completely fun orange bird parasol. So cute…featuring Magic Kingdom’s famous citrus swirl…super adorable, right? Epcot Orange Bird Citrus Swirl Parasol And behind it we saw this… . Epcot princess parasol disney princess parasol close up Yeah…those ARE princess heads on the bodies of the animals featured in their storylines, you are CORRECT. Tiana…you OK? We have Merida on a bear body (Bear-ida, obvi), Tiana on a frog body, Jasmine on a tiger body… . And is that Anna and Sven? Or, as we like to call her, Svanna? Cinderella and Jasmine This is weird, right? …Like, we’re not crazy? curiouser and curiouser Anyway, we’ve GOT to give props to the artist for coming up with something completely unique that we certainly wouldn’t find anywhere else! While the artwork is…“niche”…we’re sure this is someone’s perfect Christmas gift, right?! The artists here, by the way, are hugely talented, and these parasols really are a super unexpected and unique gift. You can have them write your name on them, add pictures of your favorite Disney things, and more. Just goes to show — no matter how many times you’ve been to Disney World, you can always find something new and random! Speaking of RANDOM…did you see when the Snoap machine malfunctioned? The holidays are here and there are simply so many magical events taking place at Walt Disney World Resort that it might seem a bit overwhelming. Fear not, members of the Disney Parks Moms Panel are here to help answer your Walt Disney World holiday vacation questions. A beloved favorite during the holiday season is the Candlelight Processional at Epcot. For Anne Marie, it’s one of the highlights of the 2019 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays. “This incredible show features a celebrity narrator relaying the story of the first Christmas, accompanied by an orchestra and mass choir. Each and every time I see this spectacular show, the beautiful music moves me to tears. No additional ticket is necessary to view the show; the Candlelight Processional is included with your admission to Epcot.” Moms Panel Tip: Anne Marie recommends a Candlelight Processional Dining Package, which will guarantee you a seat. When arriving at America Gardens Theatre, guests will see a queue for those with Dining Packages. These guests are ushered into the theater first, and any remaining seats will be filled with guests from the standby line. Another must-do during the holiday season is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Amy M. can’t help but get excited when she begins planning her family’s visit during the most wonderful time of the year and has some great tips in maximizing your time at this special ticketed event. “Opt for the second “Once Upon a Christmastime Parade” and the latest performance of the “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration” stage show. You’ll typically find the first performances to be the most crowded, so this is a great time to spend enjoying the attractions. I would definitely plan on trying to ride attractions like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Space Mountain during the first parade.” And while these are both amazing ways to celebrate the holidays, Rayna has numerous more joyous suggestions for getting into the spirit of the season. From holiday tours to sleigh rides and holiday fun at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney Springs. She highly recommends her own favorite “trails.” “You have to experience my three favorite “trails!” The Christmas Tree Trail at Disney Springs is the perfect break from the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping, while the Holiday Cookie Stroll at Epcot’s International Festival of the Holidays is always on our must-do list. We also do a self-guided tour of the Resorts during the holidays. From the life-size Gingerbread House at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to the magnificent tree at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Lodge, the Resorts are our favorite source of holiday cheer!” For more great tips on planning your holiday vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort, or for general Disney vacation questions, visit DisneyParksMomsPanel.com for an answer from one of our panelists. Downtown Disney But now we’re feelin’ even more jolly after getting a closer look at the sipper that will be available at Disneyland Resort this holiday season. And y’all it’s CUTE! Who else is over the moon at the idea of dining in space soon?! WE ARE! Mission: SPACE Construction We’ve been eagerly awaiting news on Space 220, the newest restaurant coming to Epcot this Winter and it looks like we may have FINALLY spotted signs of progress! We noticed some mysterious construction going on over at Mission: SPACE recently… Mission: SPACE Construction You might notice that black box covering on the opposite side of the structure from the entrance to the attraction. Of course, we had to take a closer look! Mission: SPACE Construction This small section of construction barrier might not seem like much. It could just be routine maintenance to the area, but it could…possibly…maybe…be something BIG! Like, maybe…the entrance to Space 220? Mission: SPACE Construction Interestingly, a look on Google Maps (though slightly out of date to what it looks like now!) shows just on the other side of that wall is what appears to be (see the red circle below) an opening in the landscaping that would make sense to possibly be the entrance to connect to the front of the ride. We certainly can’t say for sure, but this is an interesting development! Check Out the Red Circle Updates on this anticipated spot have been slow to come in, but if this is the entrance, then hopefully we will get more updates SOON. We can’t wait to be dining in the stars this winter! Click here to learn everything we know about Space 220! What do you think? Are these barriers hiding the Space 220 entrance? Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party returns to Magic Kingdom Park this Friday, November 8 – but we have an early sneak peek at this year’s party-exclusive Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom card that fans can pick up only on party nights. In case you’re new to the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom interactive game, guests can team up with Merlin to help defeat scheming Disney Villains who wish to take over Magic Kingdom Park. Guests locate villain hideouts throughout the park and visit magic portals where they use special spell cards to ward off the villain’s attack. Each spell card stars a different Disney character, each with their own unique powers. The game begins at the Firehouse on Main Street, U.S.A., where you can pick up complementary spell cards and maps. Additional cards can be purchased at select merchandise locations. According to Imagineer Jonathan Ackley, “while gazing into his crystal ball, Merlin caught sight of the mischievous chipmunks Chip and Dale. The scampering scamps were playing a festive trick on the unwary Pluto the Pup,” he said. “When he finished laughing at their Holiday Hijinks, Merlin decided to create a magical spell in their honor. Now the Sorcerers attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party can learn this spell, ‘Pluto’s Toppling Popcorn.’ With it, they can defend the realm of the Magic Kingdom…deliciously!” View the full article

Can you smell something baking up? We do! Grand Floridian Gingerbread House One of the most MASSIVE of Disney Holiday treat traditions has been found in the lobby of Grand Floridian Resort for over 20 years. Every year this structural confection appears in the lobby of the Grand Floridian and it’s so big it even features its own snack stand inside the house! The construction is always a huge effort and we saw the first steps go into place today at the resort! The base elements for the house are in the lobby now! There’s no gingerbread or candy to be seen… yet! But we’re getting excited just seeing the size and shape of the gingerbread house. Gingerbread House Construction Construction went up overnight last night and guests this morning were treated to a view of the in-progress construction of the homiest gingerbread house around. A large portion of the lobby is roped off while construction takes place. Gingerbread House Construction If last year is any indication, and if the construction teams are on-time with their build, we should see gingerbread start to appear on the house tomorrow! The process of decking the halls of this structure with candy and cookies typically takes about 3 days so hopefully, we’ll see the completed product before the end of this week. Gingerbread House Construction The much-anticipated Gingerbread Shop that operates out of the back of the house will likely open around November 13 so get ready for some original and delicious gingerbread treats! Disney World is a-changin’ and that includes Hollywood Studios! Hollywood Studios Hollywood Studios has had a whole slew of improvements and alterations wrapping up around the park (probably to shift focus over to the massive Epcot overhaul) and we recently noticed that the Hollywood Studios arch at Animation Courtyard was seeing some changes of its own. Animation Courtyard Archway Well, now the new sign is up! The old Hollywood Studios look has been replaced with the new, super simple and clean Hollywood Studios logo. A similar feel to the new super simple Tomorrowland Sign in Magic Kingdom. Who’s ready for the Christmas season? I sure am! It’s that special time of year, filled with family, friends and amazing holiday entertainment throughout Walt Disney World Resort! One of my favorite experiences, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, kicks off November 8 at Magic Kingdom Park with the debut of a magical new fireworks show that can be enjoyed from across the park. The skies above Magic Kingdom Park will sparkle to life this holiday season as visions of fireworks dance in the air during “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks.” Minnie Mouse is our host, inviting everyone to come together in a celebration of the magic of Christmas. The sky fills with fireworks, as we’re swept up in medleys of beloved holiday songs, from “Joy to the World” and “Deck the Halls” to “Up on the House Top” and “We Wish You A Merry Christmas.” The music of the show evokes heartfelt moments of home and family, as well as the festive fun of the season, all building to an incredible finale. Our Disney Parks Live Entertainment team has been working hard behind the scenes to get “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks” ready for its debut. Here’s a sneak peek! In addition to “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks,” this year at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party you can be among the first to experience new holiday enhancements to favorite attractions, such as Space Mountain and Mad Tea Party. There’s also an all-new holiday show at Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, and when you get behind the wheel at the Tomorrowland Speedway, you’ll find yourself cruising a festive freeway filled with thousands of lights and stylized décor.. All these new experiences join returning favorites like “A Frozen Holiday Wish,” “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration,” “A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas,” Club Tinsel, the Disney Junior Jingle Jam and “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, not to mention sparkling décor, complimentary treats and a magical snowfall on Main Street, U.S.A. It’s all part of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, presented on select nights November 8 – December 22, 2019. View the full article
