Wilderness Lodge Let’s head over to Wilderness Lodge, my friends, to talk about a NEW Gingerbread house being built! Thanks to instagram follower @nikiterp86, we got the word on a fun new addition to the Wilderness Lodge’s holiday decor! Wilderness Lodge Christmas Tree I mean, it’s already epic. That amazing tree and the fun bear decor everywhere? So majestic! But this afternoon our instagram follower spotted THIS hanging out behind the Lodge! Wilderness Lodge gingerbread roof Hmm…that sure does look like a Gingerbread roof! ;-D Since the Wilderness Lodge has never had a gingerbread house before, we were curious! After asking some questions at the front desk, we discovered that there indeed may be a gingerbread house this year! And then we saw this cute “announcement.” Wilderness Lodge gingerbread announcement Well lookee there! It looks like there might be a little gingerbread cabin in the Wilderness Lodge lobby! It’s our guess that you’ll be able to purchase some goodies there as well! ;-D Disney never misses an opportunity to make a sale, so be ready for gingerbread shingles and other yummies there! We’re so excited about this new addition to the gingerbread house decor throughout Disney World! Looking forward to seeing it for real! See more of Disney World’s Resort Gingerbread Houses HERE! 2. What’s that amazing smell? Chocolate! Echo Lake Christmas Decorations Elsa and Anna LOVE chocolate, just like we do! With all the chocolate treats for the holidays in Hollywood Studios, like Goofy’s Hot Chocolate, Not Hot Chocolate Verrine and the Hot Cocoa Flight, we’re melting for the delicious cocoa goodness in Disney World. And, now there’s another treat calling our name and our tastebuds in the park! Olaf’s Chocolate Marshmallow Verrine is a warm hug in a cup at Fairfax Fare! Fairfax Fare Holiday Menu The cup is layered with chocolate cake, blue whipped cream, chocolate sauce, marshmallows, crispy pearls, and a white chocolate square (It just looks incredible!). Olaf’s Chocolate Marshmallow Verrine As serious chocolate fans over here at DFB, Olaf’s Chocolate Marshmallow Verrine mixes things up to make a delicious chocolate cake in a cup! The whipped cream and chocolate sauce pair well with the chocolate cake, making everything super moist and sweet. The marshmallows in between the layers are soft and chewy compared to the crunch of the white chocolate and pearls on top! Olaf’s Chocolate Marshmallow Verrine You can get Olaf’s Chocolate Marshmallow Verrine for $4.99 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit. This dessert might be an act of true love itself tbh. Still want more desserts?? Make sure to keep up with us as we’re live in Hollywood Studios, giving you a look at the eats and treats in the park! 3. Are you planning a journey to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge? Then you may want to sneak a peek at this “out-of-this-galaxy” United Airlines’ aircraft, that celebrates the upcoming opening of the film Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. United just introduced a special Star Wars-themed Boeing 737-800 aircraft featuring a Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker-themed look and onboard experience. The new paint design captures the exotic atmosphere of the Star Wars galaxy and features imagery of iconic Star Wars spacecrafts, including the X-wing and TIE fighter starships. The aircraft’s tail also displays different colored lightsabers against a black backdrop on each side, reflecting the two sides of the Force. Passengers are greeted with classic Star Wars-themed music during the boarding process, watch an inflight safety demonstration video that features characters from the new film, and enjoy headrests with the emblems of the Resistance and First Order. Commemorative pins will be distributed throughout December to celebrate the movie’s premiere. Hear what passengers are loving about this new aircraft in the video below View the full article
  4. What’s Christmastime without gingerbread cookies?! Happy Holidays from the Magic Kingdom! We’ve been snacking our way around the holiday goodies in Magic Kingdom and one spot that we’ve come to rely on for fun frozen treats is Storybook Treats in Fantasyland. We’ve got our gingerbread ears on and are ready to dive into this new sweet treat! Let’s go! This year’s seasonal goodie du jour at Storybook Treats is a Gingerbread Sundae. Priced at $6.49, it features gingerbread soft serve topped with a sprinkle of gingerbread pieces, whipped cream, and a Minnie Mouse waffle topper. Gingerbread Sundae We were pleasantly surprised by the gingerbread ice cream! It tasted remarkably like the cookie! And this actually reminded us a lot of last year’s gingerbread gelato at L’Artisan des Glaces, which we loved! Honestly, we thought this was pure gingerbread heaven and the crumble on top added some sugar, some spice, and everything nice. Gingerbread Sundae We’re a little confused why this comes with the same ol’ Minnie waffle topper now used year-round. No complaints — we really enjoy the waffle toppers — but it did seem odd to not give this a unique topper for the season. Oh well, c’est la vie! Gingerbread Sundae This treat is available all day long in the Magic Kingdom — no need for a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party ticket! Sooo you’ve should all season long to catch THIS gingerbread treat! Check out the even MORE holiday treats at the Magic Kingdom here! Will you be tasting the Gingerbread Sundae this season? 7. We’re in for a snowfall full of fun thanks to all of the Christmas treats we’re checking out in Disney World! Christmas Tree in Hollywood Studios We’ve been reporting LIVE from Hollywood Studios as we’ve have checked out both the new and returning eats that have made their way to the park this year. And, among the returning holiday treats this year is the Strawberry Mint Crème! This sweet fruit-filled bite can be found at locations like Fairfax Fare, PizzeRizzo, and ABC Commissary. PizzeRizzo Holiday Menu The Strawberry Mint Crème is made with marinated strawberries, peppermint creme, crispy pearls, a sugar candy cane, and a white chocolate Mickey and Minnie square. Strawberry Mint Crème Like last year, we were not too blown away by the overall flavor. It was good, but it wasn’t the BEST treat we have had throughout the day. We did appreciate that there were lots and lots of strawberries though! And, they were nice and fresh!! You can get the Strawberry Mint Crème for $4.99 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit! 8. It’s officially Christmas in Magic Kingdom! Tonight, the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party of the season will kick off, you can celebrate the season with exclusive merchandise and holiday decor, and already holiday treats are hitting menus all over the Kingdom. Magic Kingdom Holidays Are HERE! You can check out festive treats here, and stick with DFB all day long as we continue to bring you reviews of everything holiday in Magic Kingdom! Right now, we’re…eager? excited?… to share with you a new treat that will be available all season long at Magic Kingdom’s Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe. This one’s suuuuuper sweet, and…well…weird. Introducing Deck The Halls! Deck the Halls This frosty treat is frozen eggnog topped with whipped cream, sprinkles, and a “chocolate Christmas bulb.” We’ll get to that red situation in a moment, but first let’s focus on the ‘nog. Deck the Halls Frozen eggnog is basically a milkshake consistency with the rich, super-sweet flavor of eggnog. If you love it, you love it; otherwise, you’re just tolerating this Christmas staple. In the case of Deck the Halls, you’ll really want to love eggnog (or plan to share with a couple of friends) because it’s way too sweet and rich for average folk. Deck the Halls There’s plenty of whipped cream on Deck the Halls, and that was our favorite part, sadly. Which brings us to the chocolate Christmas bulb. Deck the Halls This is a white chocolate piece sprayed (we think) red. By the time it made its way to Deck the Halls, it was spotted and looked more at home on a crime scene. We wish this particular garnish had been a bit more thought-out. Like maybe dying the white chocolate red before molding it into the lightbulb shape? Or making it look like…an acutal Christmas bulb? You know, whatever works for you. Deck the Halls Overall, we’re not fans of Deck the Halls. ACTUALLY decking the halls? Great. This drink? Not on our Christmas list. –> Check out Our Reviews of ALL of the Holiday Treats in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom HERE <– What treat are you most excited to try at Magic Kingdom this holiday season? 9. It’s the Most Wonderful Time of Year (for Disney food!). Hollywood Studios Christmas Decor We’ve been snacking our way around Hollywood Studios’ festive offerings for the season and spotted one of our FAVORITE treats from last year! See if it lived up to last year’s reputation! The Chocolate Chestnut Pinecone was such a unique and festive treat last year and we were SO EXCITED to see it returning again this year. And this year, this treat can be found at TWO locations! We picked ours up at Backlot Express, but you can also find it at Trolley Car Cafe. This treat is SO PRETTY. It deserves its own photoshoot — just look at it!! Chocolate Chestnut Pinecone This sweet treat is predominantly that GORG chocolate pinecone shaped mousse. It sits on top of a praline “leaf” that’s really just a circle of chocolate cake covered soft glazed nuts. Chocolate Chestnut Pinecone cross-section Chocolate is the shining flavor here followed by the toasty sweet nuts. We really don’t pick up much chestnut flavor at all. The mousse is cold and creamy and hit the spot perfectly on this (not so) cool day! Chocolate Chestnut Pinecone This treat is relatively large and easily shareable. It’s a sweet, sophisticated treat we’re happy to see back on the menu this year! See MORE of the Hollywood Studios Holiday treats in our we’re live post — here! Do you love the Chocolate Chestnut Pinecone as much as us? Let us know in the comments! 10. The canine stars of the upcoming live-action film, “Lady and the Tramp,” recently had a doggie playdate at Disneyland park to celebrate the film’s upcoming release. Everyone knows that Disneyland is the place for special occasions. Rose, who plays “Lady,” and Monte, who plays “Tramp,” visited the Happiest Place on Earth for a paw-fect date! Rose and Monte enjoyed all of the Disney magic—from meeting Pluto in Mickey’s Toontown to checking out King Arthur’s Carrousel in Fantasyland. This time of year is especially festive with the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort returning today! The duo even posed for a photo opp in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle. The new film, a re-imagining of the 1955 original animated film “Lady and The Tramp,” tells the story of star-crossed pooches who overcome obstacles on their journey to love. The film, which blends live-action with CGI, premieres Nov. 12 on Disney+. As a reminder, only service dogs are allowed inside the Disneyland Resort. 11. It’s a blast sipping and snacking our way through Disneyland today with all the new holiday menus! Schmoozies!!! Over at Schmoozies! in Disney California Adventure, we gave the new Churro Shake a try. You read that right. Drinkable churros!!!! Wanna know what we thought??? Schmoozies’ holiday menu Well, first off. This thing LOOKS delicious. I mean look at those little churros on top of that mountain of whipped cream. What better way to cap it off than with that pretty peppermint-inspired straw! CHURRO SHAAAAAAKE! This shake is a yummy combo of brown sugar cinnamon ice cream, cinnamon churro cereal, whipped topping, and a big ol’ piece of churro toffee. Did you hear that? CHURRO TOFFEEEEEEEE! Yeah, so there’s churro toffee. Which we love and which is totally life-changing and amazing. But for realz so is this shake. The whole thing tastes like cereal milk and WHO DOESN’T LOVE CEREAL MILK? Churro Milkshake (did you see the toffee? It’s right there on top.) Yum! We can’t stop thinking about it! We’ve been excited to try this treat since menus were announced a few days ago and it lives up to our expectations! It really is like drinking a liquid churro with all that awesome cinnamon flavor. 13. Mickey Mouse? More like Mickey MOUSSE! Santa Mickey Mousse, that is! Hollywood Studios Christmas Decor While we’ve been tasting ALL the treats while we’re LIVE at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the Mickey Santa Hat Mousse caught our eye since it looks pretty similar to a certain Sorcerer’s Hat 30th Anniversary Treat we picked up at Hollywood Studio’s 30th birthday bash! Though MEGA photogenic (werk, gurl), that Sorcerer’s Hat treat let us down in a BIG way. So, we couldn’t help but wonder — how did the holiday version stack up? The Mickey Santa Hat Mousse can be found at ABC Commissary for the Christmas season! And, it is SUPER CUTE with its glazed Santa hat and little Mickey ears! The shortbread cookie is topped with chocolate mousse and two chocolate discs. Well, we have to say again that these Mickey Hat Mousses are not Hollywood Studios’ greatest desserts. The chocolate mousse fell a little flat, and the white around the hat tasted like a strange gum paste. If you’re craving a mousse in Hollywood Studios, you might want to grab Goofy’s Hot Chocolate, Not Hot Chocolate Verrine or the Chocolate Chestnut Pinecone instead! You can get the Mickey Santa Hat Mousse for $5.99 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit. Check out all the other (more) AMAZING holiday treats at Hollywood Studios HERE<–! 14. The holidays are the time for laughter and fun! (Cue Goofy‘s hyuck here!) Goofy at Character Spot Since Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks and the Merry Menagerie puppets are be making their debut in Disney World TODAY, it’s only fitting that LOTS of new treats should be coming to Hollywood Studios too! And, we’ve got our forks in hand for the latest treat swirling into the parks for Christmas! Oh, boy! It might look like the hot drink, but Goofy’s Hot Chocolate, Not Hot Chocolate Verrine is a delicious dessert to snack on at the Backlot Express and Rosie’s All-American Cafe. Backlot Express Holiday Menu The cup is layered with chocolate cake, chocolate mousse, chocolate pearls, shortbread crisp, flourished with a little extra Goofy magic in the form of white chocolate. Goofy’s Hot Chocolate, Not Hot Chocolate Verrine Even though Goofy might be silly, this treat is SWEET! There is plenty of delicious chocolate mousse packed into the verrine, which makes the chocolate cake even more moist. There is also a dash of cinnamon on top that complements all the chocolate. Although the treat doesn’t have a really unique flavor, kids will probs love snacking on this ADORABLE dessert! Goofys Hot Chocolate Verrine You can get Goofy’s Hot Chocolate, Not Hot Chocolate Verrine for $4.99 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit. Goofys Verrine Maybe you can grab one of these and check out all the AH-MAZING decorations and everything in Hollywood Studios while we’re there LIVE! 15. ‘Tis the season for magic-making… and with Veterans Day right around the corner, our heroes who work at Walt Disney World Resort are busy making some holiday magic for the families of fellow veterans in the Central Florida community. Just this week, cast members from our active-duty military and veteran support cast member group—SALUTE—swung by the Orlando Fisher House to spread some holiday cheer to 16 special families. The Fisher House serves as a home-away-from-home for military and veteran families, where they stay cost-free while their loved one receives medical treatment at the VA hospital next door. “It’s never easy to be away from home for an extended period of time, and it’s even harder during the holiday season,” said Terri Turner, manager of Orlando Fisher House. “Disney transformed our organization into a winter wonderland, and has brought our families so much joy—it’s impossible not to feel cheerful in the midst of all this sparkle.” And because every home deserves a little extra pixie dust around the holidays, our cast members took it one magical step further to decorate the organization with festive holiday décor—including eight holiday trees—that was previously featured in our theme parks and resorts! As a company founded by two brothers who served their nation in uniform during World War I, The Walt Disney Company has a longstanding tradition of supporting the U.S. Armed Forces. The selflessness of the many heroes who work here at Walt Disney World Resort is demonstrated through SALUTE, which not only serves to support fellow cast members, but also the military and veteran community at large—like the Fisher House—through volunteerism. With both Veterans Day and the holiday season quickly approaching, we’re sure this is the dose of “feel good” you need going into the Veterans Day weekend! View the full article
  16. It’s Christmastime at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and we have been bringing you into the park to show you all the brand new decor and to review all the newly-arrived tasty treats! Check out this festive Lion Paw Cookie we snacked on yesterday! Christmas Lion Paw Cookie Over in the Asia area of the park, decor celebrates the Hindu holiday Diwali, but the snacks? They’re ready to rock around the Christmas tree (of Life)! Anandapur Ice Cream Truck is bringing the cool with Peppermint Soft-Serve! Peppermint Soft-Serve We’ve had peppermint soft serve before — most notably at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party last year — and this is just as refreshing and cooling as we’d hoped. The frozen treat melts quickly in the Florida heat, but no worries: it’s delicious, so you’ll likely be eating it up in no time! Peppermint Soft-Serve To drive home the peppermint flavor, the soft serve is sprinkled with crushed peppermint candy. Those candy bits also help to provide a little texture, which we appreciate in an ice cream topping. Peppermint Soft-Serve You can scoop up this holiday treat for $4.99 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit! Happy holidays! We don’t care what they’re going to say — we’re still gonna eat more treats anyway! “A Frozen Holiday Wish” Frozen 2 is just around the corner, and we’re celebrating with ALL the themed treats in Disney World! We’ve spotted the Arendelle Aqua Mickey Macaron, Hidden Truth Cupcake, and Pumpkin Spiced Donut Tart in the parks already. And, now we’re tasting another treat in honor of the holiday season! Elsa’s Magical Macarons have been making an icy blast at the Market and Baseline Tap House in Hollywood Studios! The Market’s Menu The blue and cream colored macarons taste like white chocolate and gingerbread respectively and are dusted with silver glitter (to look like royalty). Elsa’s Magical Macarons We have to say that with all the Frozen 2 treats around, Elsa’s Magical Macarons are a GREAT treat to snack on in the parks (and they’re just SUPER cute anyways). Elsa’s Magical Macarons The macaron cookies have a fantastic crunch, paired with the sweet filling that we could honestly eat for daysss! Elsa’s White Chocolate Magical Macaron The white chocolate has a creamy flavor… Elsa’s White Chocolate Magical Macaron …while the gingerbread packs just a hint of spice. Besides the eight different Festival Marketplaces that are all serving up specific menus of holiday goodness, there’s also Festival specials at many quick-service spots. We took a trip over to Cocina Cucamonga to get our hands on the Pork Tamale and the Horchata Agua Fresca! Check out this MASSIVE Pork Tamale plate. Pork Tamale This special is a HUGE meal-sized Pork Tamale complete with a hefty portion of cilantro lime rice and black beans! Now, when we say hefty we mean it so if you need a big meal on your day in the park this is an awesome option. 19. We’re tasting our way around the holiday treats in Magic Kingdom, and there’s no shortage of delicious bites to be found all day long! Magic Kingdom Christmas Tree Casey’s Corner is becoming a reliable location to grab a holiday brownie. We’ve tried the Donald Duck version at Halloween as well as the Ugly Sweater version last Christmas and the Mickey Celebration version earlier this year. And for the current Christmas season, it got ANOTHER makeover! Snowflake Brownie We’re getting MAJOR Arendelle Aqua vibes over here!! Snowflake Brownie This is the same good ol’ chocolate brownie we’ve come to know and love from Casey’s. It’s dense and fudgy and tucked away inside its familiar black ramekin, and the blue buttercream frosting is the just-right hit of sweetness on top. Snowflake Brownie The crunchy sugar snowflakes are a cute bite as well! So while this is no ugly Christmas sweater (sorry, there’s no surpassing the creativity on that one), this is a great holiday option for your picky eaters and brownie fans! You can find this sweet at Casey’s for $4.29 all-day long through the holiday season. Will you be picking up a Snowflake Brownie? Let us know in the comments! 20. While visions of sugar plums danced in some people’s heads, we’ve been thinking about those GREAT Hand-Pulled Candy Canes that are made for the holidays in Disneyland! Disneyland Christmas Tree And, we are SO EXCITED we’re here to give you the deets on the newly released dates for Candy Cane snackin’ this year!! (We can almost taste them…) The Candy Canes in Disneyland have been a delicious Christmas tradition in the parks for over 35 years. The confectioners have to work in teams to even be able to make the treats, so you know they are pretty amazing! Candy Cane Info The Candy Palace in Disneyland and Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure will be the hosts of the seasonal treat again this year, alternating on different days! Candy Cane Dates Candy Cane Tips Okay, since these treats are so good, you can bet your candy buttons that EVERYBODY is going to want to snag one of them. If you want a Candy Cane, you’ll have to make a treat-run game plan. We advise getting lining up at least 30-45 minutes ahead of park opening (but earlier is always better!). As soon as the gates are open to guests, make a bee-line towards the specified location for the day. Candy Cane Dates When the shop opens for the day, limited wristbands will be distributed to the people waiting in line. Previously, we’ve seen that around 40 wristbands are given out per Candy Cane batch. Three batches happen per day so a total of roughly 120 wristbands are typically distributed. BUT, we’ve also been told that sometimes more than 120 wristbands have been distributed before, so ya never know! Since there is one wristband per guest, you can guess that only ONE Candy Cane can be purchased with the proof of a wristband. Once you have a wristband, you’ll be given a time to return to the Candy Kitchen in the stores. However, you can pick up your candy cane any time after your batch time, but prior to 4 PM (or it’ll be sold to someone on standby!). Candy Cane Dates WHERE and WHEN To Get Your Candy Cane Please note that these dates are subject to change, and that additional dates may be added. Candy Palace -November 29th -December 2nd -December 4th -December 6th -December 9th -December 11th -December 13th -December 16th -December 18th -December 20th -December 24th Trolley Treats -November 30th -December 3rd -December 5th -December 7th -December 10th -December 12th -December 14th -December 17th -December 19th -December 21st -December 25th Hand-Made Candy Canes in Disneyland! 21. You know we LOVE our Dole Whip Floats from Magic Kingdom’s Aloha Isle. We’ve tried them all, from the Spiked Dole Whip Float to Redd’s Revenge. So we were excited (but a little trepidatious) to see a merry, limited-edition float added to the menu for this year’s holiday season. Cherry-Pistachio Float The Cherry and Pistachio Float is here to fill you with holiday cheer… or not! This new offering might be Insta-worthy for its bold soft-serve color combo, but if we’re being brutally honest here, that’s as far as it should go. Cherry and Pistachio Float The Cherry and Pistachio Float consists of cherry and pistachio swirled soft-serve atop frozen hot chocolate. In retrospect, ‘frozen hot chocolate’ was really a dead giveaway. The pairing is unlikely; cherry and pistachio with the frozen hot chocolate? Cherry and Pistachio Float And there’s a reason it’s unlikely: it doesn’t work that well. The cherry is SUPER strong, the pistachio gets lost, and cold hot chocolate doesn’t really play well with the first 2. Cherry and Pistachio Float You can try out this holiday-ready treat for yourself (if you insist) for $5.99 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom Check out ALL the treats in Magic Kingdom for the Holidays HERE! 22. Gingerbread is all the rage in Disney World right now for the holidays! From Cinderella Castle to the perennially beloved gingerbread house at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, this holiday staple is clearly the flavor of the season! Gingerbread Castle There’s the Gingerbread Castle, Gingerbread Snack Stand, Gingerbread Man Shake, and MORE baking up around the parks and resorts. And we’re tasting another version of the classic Christmas treat at the Disney’s Hollywood Studios’ holiday celebration! Gingerbread Cookies have a fresh look this year as they return to The Market, Dockside Diner, and BaseLine Tap House! The Market’s Menu Rather than taking the traditional shape of a four-limbed, curvaceous gingerbread humanoid, this year’s offering is a pair of rectangular cookies frosted with a stripe of gingerbread icing and holiday-inspired candy pieces! They’re kinda reminding us of the tarts at Woody’s Lunch Box! Gingerbread Cookies While there wasn’t anything super special about these Gingerbread Cookies, they were thick and had that slightly spicy flavor we love in gingerbread. The icing adds some sweetness without overwhelming the gingerbread. Gingerbread Cookies You can snack on the Gingerbread Cookies for $5.69, and they come packaged as a pair in a cellophane bag! Grab these babies and go! Gingerbread Cookies Packaging And don’t forget to leave some for Santa! Have you tried the Gingerbread Cookies at Hollywood Studios? Let us know in the comments below! 23. Whether they’re pursuing a career in the legal field or aiming to better their community, our cast members are reaching their educational goals and dreams – all thanks to Disney Aspire. This groundbreaking education investment program provides a variety of degree and certificate programs from in-network schools with 100% of tuition, including book and fees, covered by Disney. For Viviana Mendez, Team Lead at the Disney store in Times Square, putting her #DreamsWithinReach means earning a Bachelor of Psychology degree with aspirations of pursuing a role in Human Resources at Disney! Viviana began working at the Manhattan Disney store as a seasonal cast member nine years ago. As time went by, her passion grew as well as her roles in the store. She enjoys making emotional connections with guests by finding the perfect product to complete their experience. “Nothing is more satisfying than seeing a smile created from an engagement with a guest,” said Viviana. Bringing Disney magic to guests that don’t have the opportunity to visit the parks is her favorite aspect of working at the Disney store. Interacting with guests each day and being able to listen and connect with cast members sparked her interest to study Psychology, as watching their behavior improve inspires her. As a single mother, Viviana puts her family first. Although she always wanted to get her degree, she had to pause her educational pursuits when she struggled to balance her work and family life and also could no longer financially afford to continue. “I am truly grateful and appreciative of Disney Aspire for allowing me to finally fulfill my desire of going back to school – a dream I’ve had for a long time,” said Viviana. When Viviana first learned about Disney Aspire, she was overjoyed! Finally, she was able to pursue her dreams at no cost, all thanks to this groundbreaking education program. “When I first heard about Disney Aspire, I channeled my inner Ernesto de la Cruz from Coco, as I ‘seized my moment!’” The flexibility of the program has allowed Viviana to be well on her way of reaching her dreams! Even though the program is offered online, she doesn’t feel alone in her journey. She has built relationships with her fellow classmates and her leaders and coworkers have been extremely supportive. Viviana shared: “My classmates are helpful and they share the same enthusiasm about the program!” Her dream career goal is to one day have her name appear on the door of her own office – whether within Disney HR, or even outside of the company at a hospital or school. And with this desire, she wants to create a space of her own for anyone that seeks guidance or support. “Listening and helping people and partnering with them to see their capabilities beyond their struggle is what I would love to achieve,” said Viviana. Since launching in 2018, this unique program has been helping eligible Cast Members like Viviana to pursue their dreams. 24. Do you want to build a snowman? Sunset Seasons Greetings ‘Cause we LOVE Olaf!! And, on top of Elsa’s Magical Macarons and the Sven Sipper we’ve seen today, we’re excited for another Frozen 2 treat baking up in Disney World! Olaf might have to avoid the heat so he doesn’t melt… Buuut, Olaf’s Frozen Hot Chocolate Cake reminds us of our favorite hot drink in spoonable form! Find him at the Main Street Bakery in Magic Kingdom! Olaf’s Frozen Hot Chocolate Cake The gluten-friendly chocolate cake is layered with chocolate panna cotta, marshmallow fluff, marshmallows, candy leaves, chocolate twigs, and a white chocolate Olaf piece (oh my!!!). Olaf’s Frozen Hot Chocolate Cake If you loooove marshmallow fluff, you’re going to want to get 3 of these bbs! The chocolate cake layer is very thin, so the marshmallow overpowers it. Although the panna cotta flavor is basically non-existent, the chocolate layer actually tastes like chocolate pudding. We think this is an EVEN BETTER choice ’cause you can’t go wrong with pudding!! Olaf’s Frozen Hot Chocolate Cake The dessert might be creamy, but the marshmallows, chocolate twigs, white chocolate piece, AND sugar leaves add both a chewy and crunchy finish to the treat. Olaf’s Frozen Hot Chocolate Cake You can get a taste of all this AH-MAZING chocolate and marshmallow for $6.99. And, trust us, the kiddos will love it too! We definitely think this treat is worth melting for. And, you can follow along to check out all the other treats in Magic Kingdom as we tell you about them all LIVE here! Backlot Express Holiday Menu The vanilla and brown sugar “brownie” has craisins, orange peel, and almonds suspended throughout the treat and is topped with buttercream, festive red pearls, and a snowflake sugar piece. Holiday Blondie While we love a rich, chocolate-y brownie, the Holiday Blondie gives its cocoa counterpart a run for its money! The blondie is buttery and sweet, and the brown sugar comes through in every bite. The craisins have a burst of fruity flavor in the dessert (!!!), as well as the nutty taste from the almonds. The buttercream on top was light, but tied the entire dessert together like a well-wrapped gift.
