  2. Even though there is so much whacky and unique merchandise you can find at Galaxy’s Edge, we’re totally a sucker for those awesome sporks (I mean, who wouldn’t be??). Docking Bay While they originally were at Docking Bay 7 in both Disneyland and Disney World, they started to disappear like a Rebel spy into the night. AKA, people were stealing them from the restaurant because they looked cool and Disney quickly stopped using them as the utensils at Docking Bay. However, since Disneyland started selling the sporks to Batuu visitors, the spork is now making a comeback in Hollywood Studios! If you want to take a small piece of your galactic travels home with you, Docking Bay 7 is adding a li’l space flair to your kitchenware collection! We spotted spork on the DockingBay 7 menu online (and we’re ready to use ALL our credits to have a drawer-full). Spork on Mobile Order Just like the version in Disneyland, the sporks are metal like the originals from the restaurant and have that interesting Star Wars craftiness in the notches! An elegant utensil for a more civilized age But, the cleverness doesn’t stop there, friends! The sporks are sold in their own carrying bag with the Aurebesh translating to “SPORK” in big letters and “Property of Docking Bay 7” in smaller letters. Silverware, but make it fashion!! Spork Travel Bag You can eat in (Star Wars) style with the Galaxy’s Edge spork for $10.99 in BOTH parks now! Thanks, Hollywood Studios for your culinary masterminds!! Sporks And, you can keep up with all the other space news from Galaxy’s Edge (including the construction of the Galactic Starcruiser and reservation details!) by subscribing to our newsletter. 4. We just embarked on our inaugural season sailing from New Orleans! This also marks the very first time that Disney Cruise Line has had a homeport in Louisiana. On the Disney Wonder’s first departure from the Crescent City, the ship received a celebratory bon voyage from Princess Tiana, Prince Naveen and members of the traditional New Orleans Treme Brass Band. This cruise that has just commenced kicks off a limited-engagement season sailing from New Orleans in 2020. Best of all, we will be returning to New Orleans again in early 2021. These voyages visit the Bahamas, Caribbean and include stops at Disney’s private island paradise, Castaway Cay. Those of you from the area, get ready to experience the magic of having a Disney ship in your own backyard. And if you’re joining us from farther away, you can savor the excitement and flair of the Big Easy both onboard and ashore. In New Orleans, you’ll find magic around every corner as you recognize the iconic sights and sounds that inspired the Disney animated film “The Princess and the Frog.” Onboard the Disney Wonder, we are “gonna take you there!” You’ll be treated to a celebration of New Orleans dining and entertainment at Tiana’s Place restaurant with a menu that draws inspiration from the flavors and ingredients of the Louisiana bayou. At the brand new French Quarter Lounge you’re transported deeper into the story to enjoy live jazz music, sip a New Orleans-themed specialty drink and dance the night away. Throughout the days, family activities, trivia, workshops, crafts and music bring the bayou spirit of family gatherings and fun to life. Please join us in welcoming Disney Cruise Line to the Big Easy! 5. Breaking news! The Disney Villains have stormed Cinderella Castle and have reclaimed Magic Kingdom ONCE AGAIN! Villains After Hours We’re here to witness the very first of many 2020 Disney Villains After Hours tonight! And while these hard-ticketed parties only take place on select nights at Disney World, here’s what’s been going down with all your favorite Disney baddies since you saw them at last year’s sinister soiree! We’re frightfully excited to tell you there’s EVEN more malevolent and strange happenings at the 2020 Disney Villains After Hours parties than EVER BEFORE! Let’s start with the most important stuff (for us)… THE FOOD! Disney Villains After Hours Exclusive Snacks and Drinks This year’s Villains After Hours features 11 new party-exclusive treats (and a returning favorite!) Painting the Roses Red The Painting the Roses Red at Cheshire Café was easily one of the prettiest desserts of the evening. And it tasted as good as it looked too! It’s made from cheesecake mousse with raspberry gelee, red cocoa butter spray, and buttercream leaves. Painting the Roses Red Read our full review of the Painting the Roses Red HERE! Royal Majesty The Cheshire Café is also where you’ll find the Royal Majesty. It’s a strawberry-flavored cake pop dipped in red-dyed white chocolate and coated with sprinkles! Three cheers for the Queen of Hearts for coming up with such a wonderfully vile snack! It was the favorite treat of the night for some of us! Royal Majesty Cake Pop Check out our review of the Royal Majesty here! Hearts on Fire Cheshire Café’s third offering is Hearts on Fire — a fruit punch mixed with Coke, strawberry popping candy, and garnished with a heart-shaped strawberry! Hearts on Fire Click here to read our review of Hearts on Fire! The Diamond in the Rough Meanwhile, if you’re as thirsty as Aladdin’s Jafar, you can seek The Diamond in the Rough at Tortuga Tavern! It’s made from mango slush with nutmeg and cinnamon topped with whipped cream and garnished with a dark chocolate diamond. Diamond in the Rough Read what we thought of The Diamond in the Rough HERE! Locked Away Maiden Main Street Bakery is serving up a Locked Away Maiden! It’s a loaded grilled cheese sandwich with pepper jack cheese, provolone cheese, bacon jam, and tomatoes. It may not be the most attractive treat but it actually was quite tasty! Locked Away Maiden See our review of the Locked Away Maiden here! Voodoo Magic Sleepy Hollow is brewing up some Voodoo Magic for the party! It’s a shimmering mix of lemonade Vitamin Water with green apple syrup and comes garnished with a candy straw! This was a fun idea that was lost in the execution. Ours also wasn’t particularly shimmery (that we could tell!). Maybe others will have better luck in the cards! Voodoo Magic Check out how the Voodoo Magic tastes HERE! Just Take Three We also tried the other villainous offering at Sleepy Hollow, Just Take Three! It features three beignets dusted with powdered sugar and served with vanilla ice cream topped with whipped cream and chocolate ganache! This fell pretty flat for us. We’re hoping they got hit with a case of first-night jitters! Just Take Three Beignets Read our review of Just Take Three right over here! Body Language We were sure to save plenty of room for Body Language at Storybook Treats! This cookies and cream mousse with chocolate cake, glacage, meringue tentacles, and a chocolate shell is a sweet and fitting ode to Ursula the Sea Witch! Body Language Check out what we thought of Body Language here! Poor Unfortunate Soul Storybook Treats is also where you can snag the Poor Unfortunate Soul! The float is made with black raspberry soft-serve and Cherry Coke garnished with a sugar crown! Poor Unfortunate Soul Read the sweet details (including our review!) of the Poor Unfortunate Soul here! Hades Hot Dog If you like your villainous treats extra-spicy, look no further than the Hades Hot Dog at Casey’s Corner! It’s an all-beef hot dog topped with buffalo chicken, diced celery, fiery cheese dust, and spicy ranch drizzle! Hades Hot Dog Click here to read our FULL REVIEW of the Hades Hot Dog here! Hades Temptation And here’s a familiar-looking face! The Hades Temptation is returning to this year’s party, but it’s been moved to Casey’s Corner! The purple drank is a frozen mocktail “Cosmo” with lemonade, violet syrup, and a gummy worm garnish! Hades Temptation Mocktail We tried The Hades Temptation at last year’s party — here’s what we thought of it! Five Dozen Egg Slushy No one does it better than Gaston, right? Well, he’s serving up a Five Dozen Egg Slushy over at Gaston’s Tavern for the event. This frozen slush is made with frozen custard with brown sugar, whipped cream, and a cinnamon stick. Five Dozen Egg Slushy Read our full review of the Five Dozen Egg Slushy HERE! Complimentary Treats And don’t forget — your Disney Villains After Hours ticket entitles you to all the popcorn, specialty ice creams, and soda you want FOR FREE, so save some room for all those goodies, too! Complimentary Popcorn and Soft Drinks Complimentary Drinks Complimentary Mickey Premium Bar See how good it is to be so bad? We could grow accustomed to this kind of villainous lifestyle! Disney Villains After Hours Entertainment Magic Kingdom will put on it’s most evil best for the evening during Villains After Hours. Around the park and in front of Cinderella Castle, expect sinister lighting and sound effects to set the mood all night! You can even bust a move courtesy of the DJ spinning tunes in front of the castle most of the night! Villains Unite the Night We hope all those ne’er-do-well snacks and sips worked up your appetite for some villainous entertainment. Villains Unite the Night is about to start! The show is performed at the Cinderella Castle stage and runs about 20 minutes long. You’ll get to see Hades, Meg… Hades at Villains Unite the Night …Dr. Facilier… Dr. Facilier …The Evil Queen… Villains Unite the Night …Jafar… Villains Unite the Night …and Maleficent, along with others, who’ll all attempt to steal the show! Maleficent Hey, Villains gonna vill, after all! We wouldn’t expect anything less from this unsavory crew! The show if fun and filled with pyrotechnics, fire-twirlers, and more! Villains Unite the Night Villains Cursed Caravan And although none of the Disney Villains meet with guests during the party — it sure is fun watching them do what they do best — BE EVIL at the Villains Cursed Caravan parade! Villains Cursed Caravan We saw the fire-breathing Maleficent Dragon… Maleficent Dragon …and her band of baddies, featuring Oogie Boogie, the Bowler Hat Guy… Cursed Caravan …and the Big Bad Wolf! We just hope he doesn’t blow our houses down! Cursed Caravan But, since this is Villains After Hours, there are a few surprises in store! While Gaston rode out on a horse (looking wickedly handsome of course)… Cursed Caravan …we were also greeted by MORE villains with their henchmen! Cruella cruised down Main Street with Horace and Jasper in tow… Cruella de Vil …the Queen of Hearts marched on with her deck of cards… The Queen of Hearts (Pick a card, any card!) Cursed Caravan …Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, and Drizella tried to look like royalty (not) in their carriage… The Tremaine Family …and Ursula made her debut with Flotsam and Jetsam, looking for more souls to trick into offering up their voices! Ursula This year, the Caravan will be frightening guests twice nightly (oooh, we’re really scared!). The first caravan will loop around the castle and travel back to Frontierland, while the second will take the regular route at the end of the night. Be sure to wave to some of the villains terrorizing Magic Kingdom’s visitors at the train station, just like last year! Farewell from the Baddies! Check out our full look at this year’s entertainment HERE! Villains After Hours Ride Overlays And, don’t forget — Pirates of the Caribbean and Space Mountain also have received some special villainous overlays for the party! Space Mountain Pirates of the Caribbean Captain Barbossa will be taking leave from The Black Pearl to look for new scalawags to join his crew at Pirates… Pirates of the Caribbean Keep a watchful eye out for some REAL pirates throughout the ride! Pirates of the Caribbean Cast Member Space Mountain Space Mountain is cranking up the volume on a terrifying soundtrack, complete with the villains saying their most iconic lines! This makes the rides EXTRA fun (plus those short wait times help a lot too!). Space Mountain Sign Due to the event’s limited capacity, you may experience shorter wait times for the 20+ rides that remain open during the shin-dig! Disney Villains After Hours Merchandise While earlier we shared with you a sneak peek of some of the Disney Villains After Hours merch, here it is IRL! Villains After Hours Oogie Boogie Sipper We spotted the Oogie Boogie Sipper — very similar to the one Disney Califonia Adventure had for its Ooogie Boogie Bash last year! Villains After Hours Oogie Boogie Sipper Along with a variety of Villain-themed attire like this Hades cap… Villains After Hours Cap …a shirt starring Oogie Boogie and the other baddies… Magic Kingdom Villains After Hours T-shirt …a Passholder exclusive shirt… Villains After Hours Passholder T-shirt …and much more! Check out our full look at the merchandise at this year’s Villains After Hours HERE! 6. Move aside, Red Hot Chili Peppers! Cheesy Hot Diggity Dog in Magic Kingdom We’re ready to snack on something super spicy (and cheesy!!) in Disneyland that’s already making our mouths water. While we’ve already seen the Cheesy Hot Diggity Dog in Disney World, the hot dog is getting a fiery revamp with the Burnin’ Hot Mac and Cheese Dog over in Disneyland! Refreshment Corner The all-beef hot dog is piled with spicy mac and cheese (!!!) and Hot Cheetos Dust, served with a side of chips or apple slices for $11.99 at the Refreshment Corner. ©Disney Um, all that cheese with a spicy kick sounds AH-MAZING! 7. Leave it to our boy Tommy Bahama to unleash some tropical-inspired new fashions that make us feel like we’re in paradise — a.k.a. Disney World! Marketplace Co-Op The designer has just released a new line of menswear at Disney Springs, so let’s go check it out! You’ll find the newest Disney X Tommy Bahama Collection at Twenty Eight and Main inside Disney Springs’ Marketplace Co-Op! It’s one of our favorite places to stop by when we visit Disney World because they seem to have a little bit of everything all under one roof! From home goods, to pet supplies, phone cases, and artwork — you name it, they might just have it! Twenty Eight and Main And that’s where we discovered this trunkload of new Tommy Bahama Shirts — like this one for $150! Why, we can almost see the palm trees swaying on this thing! And look! There’s Mickey! Tommy Bahama Shirt We know, we know…while we love that last one WE NEED MORE MICKEY! Luckily, some of the other designs have more of the mouse we wanna see, like this Tommy Bahama Shirt for $130! It’s got Mickeys a-plenty! Tommy Bahama Shirt We’re also big fans of the blue one for $13o! It even has Minnie Mouse dancing the hula on it! Tommy Bahama Shirt Ahoy thar! This new Tommy Bahama Shirt for $130 has set a course for the Caribbeans with its pirate-theme! The Hawaiian-style shirt is decorated with skulls and crossbones and pirate ships! Tommy Bahama Shirt We also spotted this shirt in Disneyland! Check it out here!! But if you’re looking for something more subtle this green Tommy Bahama Shirt for $130 has a softer touch of Disney magic to it! Tommy Bahama Shirt You have to look closely to see the Hidden Mickeys it features, but trust us, they’re there! Tommy Bahamas Shirt And if green isn’t your color, there’s a cheery orangey yellowish version of the shirt also! Tommy Bahama Shirt It’s got the same delicate Mickeys! The color reminds us of a gorgeous tropical sunset! Tommy Bahama Shirt We think any of these Tommy Bahama styles would make a great V-Day gift for your Disney-loving fella! And if you’re looking for even more romantic Valentine’s Day gift ideas, check out the Lady and the Tramp Cake that will be coming soon to Disney Springs HERE! Are you a fan of Tommy Bahama? 8. We’ve been chillin’ like a villain at the Villains After Hours event in Magic Kingdom (and we’re feeling especially wicked after this night of fun!). Queen of Hearts Photo-Op! We’ve been taking you with us throughout the night to visit her royal highness, the Queen of Hearts, and to taste the Painting the Roses Red and Royal Majesty treats (which are way better than any stolen tarts). But, now we’re sipping on something a little more sinister! Our heads are totally rolling with how amazing the Hearts on Fire is at the Cheshire Cafe! And, we’re not just saying that because the Queen is giving us daggers for eyes right now. Cheshire Cafe Sign The drink is mixed up with fruit punch, Coca Cola, and strawberry popping candy (!!!) with a strawberry garnish on the rim. Hearts on Fire Yeah…it’s just as stinkin’ cute as it sounds, you guys. Strawberry Heart Garnish We don’t need a “Drink Me” tag to tell us to take another sip of the Hearts on Fire! We really enjoyed it. The use of Coca Cola curbs the sweetness from the fruit punch without getting rid of the fruity flavor. While you can hear the strawberry popping candy for a few moments, we didn’t really taste them since they dissolved so quickly. We’re Painting the Roses Red with the Hearts on Fire! We have to say that the Queen made an excellent choice for her drink at the Villains Soirée! Don’t be late for your very important date with the seriously delicious Hearts on Fire for $4.99! 9. It’s the first night of 2020 dates for Disney Villains After Hours in Magic Kingdom and we’re feeling especially WICKED! Villains After Hours We had a “bad” time at Villains After Hours in 2019, so of course, we’re back again this year! In fact, we wouldn’t miss this year’s party since there are over 10 NEW villainous new treats to try! In between tasting Body Language, the Royal Majesty cake pop, and the Just Take Three beignets, we HAD to check out this year’s sinister entertainment! So, here’s a rundown of ALL of the stuff you’ll get to see and do at this year’s Disney Villains After Hours — including the all-new Villains Cursed Caravan! Maleficent and the Villains Cursed Caravan The Maleficent float is out and about again this year, and her temper is as FIERY as ever! Cursed Caravan However, this year, she’s joined by a brand new band of Disney baddies called the Villains Cursed Caravan. Cursed Caravan This mini-parade features Gaston on horseback… Cursed Caravan …Oogie Boogie, the Bowler Hat Guy (!)… Cursed Caravan …the Big Bad Wolf… Cursed Caravan …Lady Tremaine in a carriage (with Anastasia and Drizella chasing not far behind!)… Cursed Caravan …Cruella with her henchmen, Horace and Jasper… Cursed Caravan …the Queen of Hearts with her marching set of cards… Cursed Caravan …and Ursula making her debut with Flotsam and Jetsam for all you poor unfortunate souls out there! Cursed Caravan We’re feeling especially creeped out to our rotten cores since the Caravan will be going around Magic Kingdom twice nightly. During the first caravan, there will be a loop around the castle as the characters travel back to Frontierland. And, then the regular route will take place at the end of the night, where a few villains will make a terrifying appearance at the train station like last year! Villains Unite the Night The Villains Unite the Night show is back this year at Cinderella Castle with Hades, Meg, The Evil Queen, Maleficent, Dr. Facilier, Jafar, and a few other familiar fiendish faces. Villains Unite the Night This show runs approximately 20-minutes long and you don’t want to miss it if you haven’t seen it yet! Dr. Facilier Each Villain gets a chance to shine and take over the look of the Castle behind Hades and his crew! Maleficent We loved the fire (and fire twirlers!) throughout the show! While this show is shorter than last year’s, it certainly packs a punch! It’s the same story, but with even MORE fireworks, dancers, and pyrotechnics! Villains Unite the Night Villainous Ride Enhancements We love a good ride overlay (especially when its bad!), and this party features evil additions to two Magic Kingdom classics! At Pirates of the Caribbean, you can say “Ahoy” to Captain Barbossa (but be sure not to mention The Black Pearl). Pirates of the Caribbean With a couple Cast Members in costume throughout the ride! Yep, this guy isn’t an animatronic here! A REAL Pirate! And, on Space Mountain, you’ll be able to listen to some wicked jams on the ride while villains will be saying some of their most iconic lines – in complete darkness! (“Off with your heads,” friends!) Villains After Hours Plus, gotta love those shorter-than-normal After Hours wait times! Space Mountain 10 Minute Wait! Dastardly DJ Like with most of the After Hours parties in Disney World, there’s plenty of opportunities to slip on your dance pants and boogie with a live DJ stationed in front of the castle between Villains Unite the Night performances! Villains After Hours You can listen to wicked tunes playing in front of Cinderella Castle off and on throughout the evening! Themed Photo Ops There are also some exclusive villain-themed photo opportunities! We didn’t spot any PhotoPass Photographers at these Photo Ops but hopefully, they’ll appear in the future as they would be a huge benefit for capturing some awesome pics! Guests are encouraged to share their photos on social media using #VillainsAfterHours Queen of Hearts Photo-Op! This year, the Queen of Hearts will be greeting victims (er, guests) at the Mad Tea Party. Queen of Hearts Photo Op And Scar is far away from the Pride Lands, all the way in Adventureland! Villains After Hours Scar Photo Op There are also some more simple backdrops to capture a memory of your villainous night in front of! Villains Photo Op Plus, you can also take some selfies with interactive backgrounds. And, you never know which bad guys or gals might make a cameo-appearance in your Magic Shot — consider this a warning! Mood Music and Lighting And of course, you can get EVEN MORE into the evil spirit of the night with the special park lighting and music that gives the night a super crooked and wrongful undertone — it’s a MOOD! Villains After Hours Cinderella Castle is simply STUNNING with a creepy combination of lighting and projection mapping. We gotta say, it’s a good look for her! Villains After Hours Even Rapunzel’s Tower is looking awfully spooky! Villains After Hours Unfortunately, this event doesn’t offer any guests the chance to meet the Villains, but you CAN EAT THEM! Check out our reviews of the Poor Unfortunate Souls float, the Voodoo Magic drink, and the Five Dozen Egg Slush for a taste of what we found! Now if we could vanish into an evil cloud of green smoke (wouldn’t that be cool?!) we would but instead, we’ll just say bye for now! Will you be grabbing a ticket to Villains After Hours? 10. We’re feeling a little evil tonight, but don’t blame us. We can’t help it if we turn into bad guys when we’re hangry! Villains After Hours And if you are what you eat, then we MUST be a devilish treat by this point! There are SO many cool villains-inspired snacks at this year’s Villains After Hours parties and we’re trying them ALL! Muuuh-hahaha! Check out what we thought of the wicked new Voodoo Magic the villains are brewing up at Storybook Treats! The Voodoo Magic is a sweet beverage inspired by the witch doctor from The Princess and the Frog, Dr. Facilier! After all, he’s got voodoo, he’s got hoodoo, he’s got things he hasn’t even TRIED! We snagged ourselves a cup full of this mystical drink for $5.99. Voodoo Magic This beverage totally captures Dr. Facilier flair for the dramatic with a cool mix of Lemonade, Green Apple Syrup, and a Rock Candy Garnish. The beverage really does look like a pretty cup of magic when you get it! Voodoo Magic Sadly, this wasn’t our favorite treat of the night. In fact, it’s super sweet and doesn’t have the most exciting flavor in the world. The flavors don’t really come through because it pretty much just tastes like apple-flavoring. Personally, we thought the best part about it was the rock candy straw. If rock candy straws, you might want to take your appetite elsewhere. Of course, this could depend on the batch and the way the drink was blended, so yours may taste a little better if you try it out. Voodoo Magic On the chance that you DO have a sweet tooth and a love for all things apple, you’ll want to gather your friends on the other side and head to Storybook Treats to sample this evil elixir! The Voodoo Magic can be yours for $5.99 — but just remember — this potion only bubbles up at Villains After Hours! Click here to check out another fiendish beverage from Disney Villains After Hours! 11. We’re having a frightfully good time at the first Villains After Hours event of 2020! After our visit to last year’s event, we’ve were excited to try all the new treats and to see all the new merchandise this year. Queen of Hearts Photo Op Next, we’re headed to Cheshire Café for a tasty treat called Painting the Roses Red — a sweet homage to the anything-but sweet Queen of Hearts herself! It’s time for us to courtsey and pay our respects to the Painting the Roses Red! Cheshire Cafe Sign This party-exclusive treat features a cheesecake mousse with raspberry gelée, red cocoa butter, and buttercream leaves. And y’all, this thing is SO pretty! We never thought we’d agree with the Queen of Hearts, but this rose definitely looks really nice painted red. Painting the Roses Red And it tasted sooo good too! Painting the Roses Red We thought the treat was super flavorful. The cheesecake mousse was creamy and delicious and the raspberry and cocoa flavors balanced really well. This dish wasn’t too rich either, which left us with plenty of room to try more yummy villainous snacks! Painting the Roses Red All ways are her ways, so if you’re headed to Villains After Hours this year, be sure to try Painting the Roses Red for $5.99! You wouldn’t want to upset the Queen, after all! Read up on all of the yummy snack options at the Villains After Hours Event here! Are you planning on attending an After Hours event this year? Let us know in the comments! 12. With a name like the “Five Dozen Eggs Slush” — we didn’t quite know EXACTLY what we were in for at the Villains After Hours! Villains Unite the Night But we DID know where to find it, of course! After all, Gaston is the only Disney Villain we know of who eats five dozen eggs on the reg, so it’s off to his Fantasyland watering hole we go! We’ve already completed our quest for the Diamond in the Rough during the Villains After Hours party we’ve been attending this evening. But now it’s time to pony up to the bar at Gaston’s Tavern for his signature brew — the Five Dozen Eggs Slush! Gaston’s Tavern Sign The party-exclusive treat is a blend of frozen custard with brown sugar topped with whipped cream and garnished with a cinnamon stick! Five Dozen Egg Slushy And, rather strangely, we’re feeling the urge to start using antlers in all of our decorating while we enjoy this villainous treat! Cinnamon Stick Antler No one makes a drink like Gaston ’cause the Five Dozen Eggs Slushy is super yummy! The strong cinnamon flavor in the drink isn’t overwhelming, but definitely adds a kick to the creamy custard. Plus, the brown sugar crystals mixed in add a burst of sweetness to each sip (we highly recommend mixing them in!). “My, what a guy, that Gaston!!” Five Dozen Eggs Slushy Find the new Five Dozen Eggs Slush at Gaston’s Tavern ONLY during the 2020 Villains After Hours parties for $5.99! And, while we can’t guarantee this frozen concoction will help you achieve a bod like Gaston’s, it sure is TASTY! Take a look at our other Villians After Hours favs by checking out the Body Language and Royal Majesty Cake Pop. What do you think of the Five Dozen Eggs Slush? 13. We’re saying “off with their heads” and on with the AWESOME night we’re having at the Villains After Hours in Magic Kingdom! Queen of Hearts and Her Cards While we’ve been taking you with us to try treats like the Hades Hot Dog, The Diamond in the Rough, and the Body Language Mousse Cake, you’re totally going to feel like a queen after you get a li’l peek at this dessert! The Queen of Hearts is decreeing that every soul who visits Villains After Hours MUST try the Royal Majesty at Cheshire Cafe (or y’know…heads will roll). Cheshire Cafe Sign The strawberry cake pop is dipped in chocolate, which is painted red like those roses, and covered in sprinkles and sugar crystals. Royal Majesty Cake Pop This cake pop just might be as good as one of the Queen’s tarts! The outside has a super crunchy shell with extra sweetness from the sugar crystals, while the inside is an incredibly moist cake. There is only a hint of strawberry flavor from the cake, which we adored. We think this treat is an “ace” for cake pop lovers! Even the Queen Would Love This Cake Pop! Don’t forget to curtsy when you grab the Royal Majesty from Cheshire Cafe for $4.29 (or the Queen might send her deck of cards after you)! Royal Majesty Cake Pop Looking for more Villains After Hours treats? Be sure to take a look at the Hades Hot Dog and Body Language dessert! Have you ever been to Villains After Hours before? 14. Sit down at our table and put your mind at ease ’cause we’re taking you to the darker side of Disney at Villains After Hours in the Magic Kingdom! Villains After Hours And, while we’ve tried some DELISH food thanks to the Body Language Mousse Cake and the Hades Hot Dog, we’re visiting our friends on the other side at Sleepy Hollow for the next sinister treat! Dr. Facilier is looking deep into our heart and soul, giving us the Just Take Three Beignets! (We wonder what three cards our beignets represent…). Sleepy Hollow Sign The set of three powdered sugar beignets is served with vanilla ice cream and topped with whipped cream and chocolate ganache. Just Take Three Beignets And, while these beignets look just as terrifying as Dr. Facilier’s voodoo magic, we sadly have to say that they missed the mark with the flavor too! Compared to the other AH-MAZING beignets we’ve had on property (we’re talking boozy beignets at Port Orleans), the beignets were too thick and didn’t have that fluffy consistency that we love. A Sneak Peek Inside the Beignets The ice cream and chocolate ganache on top didn’t soften them up either, which is pretty shocking! But remember, this is the first night of the event, so you may get a prettier and lighter batch when you give these a try! So don’t write them off just yet because you never know. Just Take Three Beignets You can find the Just Take Three Beignets at Sleepy Hollow for $6.49! One treat we DO suggest is the Body Language Mousse Cake from Storybook Treats. 15. We’ve been brushing up our sea witch cackle in anticipation of trying this next Disney Villains After Hours-exclusive treat! Villians After Hours And while we’ve already wrapped our tentacles around the new Body Language treat from Storybook Treats we’re also trying the Poor Unfortunate Soul float! The new Poor Unfortunate Soul float is made with black raspberry soft-serve and Cherry Coke garnished with a sugar crown and candy pearls! Villians After Hours This treat looks WAAAY to adorable to be EVIL, but maybe that’s just us! Poor Unfortunate Souls While we immediately fell in love with this treat’s dazzling looks, we, unfortunately, had a harder time warming up to its taste. Poor Unfortunate Souls We love a good Cherry Coke, but the raspberry soft serve added an odd flavor profile that honestly reminded us of medicine. We weren’t crazy for this, but hey, there’s something for everyone! Try it for yourself and let us know what you think! Poor Unfortunate Souls When we visited, the machine was having a little trouble so a Cast Member offered to substitute the Black Raspberry Soft-Serve for chocolate or vanilla. While we don’t know if this will be an option all the time, we do think it’s worth asking a CM about if you want to try the float sans Black Raspberry Soft-Serve. You can pick up your Poor Unfortunate Soul at Storybook Treats for $6.99! Check out all the incredible Villains After Hours merchandise here! Will you be trying either Poor Unfortunate Soul or Body Language at this year’s Villains After Hours? Let us know in the comments below! Related posts: Review! 16. Villains After Hours has returned to Disney’s Magic Kingdom, just as The Fates had prophecized! Hades Hot Dog And before they release the Titans, we’re heading over to Casey’s Corner to try the new Hades Hot Dog! In addition to complimentary popcorn, ice cream novelties, and select bottled beverages, there’s a TON of exclusive snacks available for purchase! The Hades Hot Dog is one of these sinister snacks and can be found only at Casey’s Corner for $9.49! Hades Hot Dog This all-beef hot dog is topped with buffalo chicken, diced celery, fiery cheese dust, and spicy ranch drizzle. And just like Hades’ heart, (to be frank), this little puppy comes served on a black bun! It reminds us. an awful lot of the Hades Nachos that were served at the event last year! Hades Hot Dog This thing comes LOADED with toppings and tbh, it’s awesome! Maybe the black bun makes this Villains After Hours treat look a little gloomy, but it certainly has a nice kick to it! Hades Hot Dog From Zero to Hero, we rate the heat of the Hades Hot Dog as a HERO! Make sure you grab one of those free sodas (or water) before you chow down on this guy because we’re not kidding when we say it’s spicy! Hades Hot Dog If you want to test your heroics by trying the Hades Hot Dog you can find it at Casey’s Corner during Villians After Hours for $9.49. This is also where you can find the Hades Temptation, which is a returning drink from the 2019 Villains After Hours events. Hades Temptation Mocktail Read our full Hades Temptation review here! 17. Life’s full of tough choices, innit? Villains After Hours And, we seriously can’t decide which treat is our favorite at Villains After Hours! While we’ve taken you with us to try desserts like The Diamond in the Rough and Locked Away Maiden, we’re about to take a splash in the deep end with this new sinister snack. Don’t underestimate the importance of body language ’cause the latest sweet making its way to Storybook Treats is wickedly delicious! Storybook Treats Sign The Body Language is a cookies ‘n cream mousse on top of chocolate cake with a chocolate shell, mirror glaze (Ursula’s gotta put on her lipstick somehow!), and meringue tentacles. Body Language The treat is inspired by the infamous sea witch with Ursula’s silky black dress, purple meringue tentacles, and her signature shell necklace. Luckily, Ariel’s voice isn’t trapped inside this dessert! Sinister and Spooky, Just Like Ursula! And, was the Body Language as good as it looked? Yes, indeed! The mousse is creamy and sweet, almost like the Grey Stuff at Be Our Guest! Buuut, obviously with a lot more sinister twist. Body Language The chocolate coating is extremely rich, which balances the lighter flavor of the mousse. And, the tentacles tie the whole treat together since the meringue cookies have a crunch that we can’t resist, just like one of Ursula’s spells! Body Language You can find the Body Language dessert for $6.99 at Storybook Treats. But, remember it’s only available during Villians After Hours events. Check out the Diamond in the Rough Slushy here! Do you think that Ursula is the most wicked villain of them all? Let us know in the comments below! Related posts: NEWS! 18. We’re over here at Disney’s Magic Kingdom having a SCARY good time at the return of Villains After Hours! Villains After Hours This hard-ticketed event brings you face to face with some of your worst nightmares (kidding!) while enjoying spooky entertainment, overlays on popular attractions, and of course, ALL THE FOOD! Now that the Villains have stormed the castle, you can feast on a bunch of new party-exclusive treats this year! One of these villainous eats can be found, if you dare, at the Main Street Bakery! It’s called the Locked Away Maiden! The Locked Away Maiden costs $4.99 and is a loaded grilled cheese with pepper jack cheese, provolone cheese, bacon jam, and tomatoes! And it appears to be in distress, ’cause it’s calling our names! Actually, that’s just the cheese talkin’! We share a powerful bond with cheesy delights, and this one’s no exception! Locked Away Maiden Now it took a loooong time for us to get our sandwich when we ordered. But, it is the first night and the Cast Members are still getting used to these new menu items. When we did get it, we were a little surprised. The fact that it’s shaped like a key should be quite adorable, but where did the rest of the sandwich go? Doesn’t it need to be rescued too? Honestly, the shape of the sandwich makes it look half-eaten. Maybe one of those villains got to it before we did! Locked Away Maiden Well, at least it tasted way better than it looked! The grilled cheese is loaded up with melty cheese and yummy veggies, so, all in all, it was pretty good. After all, can you really go wrong with melted cheese? We wish it looked a little bit more like the cute pic, but for $4.99, it’s a pretty solid little snack. Locked Away Maiden Tickets for Villains After Hours are available now and are priced at $145 if purchased in advance or $155 on the day of the event. Disney Vacation Club Members and Annual Passholders can enjoy a $30 discount as well! Check Out the 2020 Villains After Hours dates here! Will The Locked Away Maiden be making your must-get list? 19. Villains After Hours is goin’ down at the Magic Kingdom tonight! Villains After Hours And while we’ve already picked up the spooky Oogie Boogie Sipper, things are now gettin’ all kinds of “Cave of Wonders” up in here as we journey to the find The Diamond in the Rough! We’re a long way from Agrabah, but we’ve finally arrived at Tortuga Tavern where The Diamond in the Rough can be discovered ONLY during Villains After Hours! It’s new to the party scene this year and is made from mango slushy with nutmeg and cinnamon topped with whipped cream and garnished with a sugar diamond! Diamond in the Rough We were super psyched to try this treasure of a treat for $5.99. We got even more excited when we got it and it looked so pretty and refreshing! You can spot that there’s sugar and spices sprinkled on top and there’s that diamond. We have to say, don’t you think that diamond looks a little more like chocolate than sugar? Diamond in the Rough And did it taste as good as it looked? Yes! The slush is DELICIOUS. Honestly, it’s one of those Magic Kingdom drinks that would be better with a little alcohol but it’s pretty darn tasty without. You can really taste the hint of nutmeg and cinnamon. Overall, it was just as refreshing as it looked and not too sweet. But, that diamond definitely isn’t sugar. In fact, it’s dark chocolate — just like we thought! Diamond in the Rough We’re SOOO glad we gulped this thing down before Jafar found it because it’s seriously YUM! Besides, he probably would have gotten some of the whipped cream on his mustache which isn’t a very good look for a villain. Diamond in the Rough We’ll be continuing our live coverage of this year’s first Villains After Hours party so stay glued to this channel for more villainous reviews as we eat our way around the party! 25. The month of February marks Black History Month, which lends the perfect opportunity to introduce myself – but more importantly, to introduce The Walt Disney Company’s Supplier Diversity team and the passion that drives the work we do each and every day to positively impact the diverse supplier community. My Story I’ve been living the Disney dream since 2005 when I first started with The Walt Disney Company as a senior financial analyst, but my passion for diversity and inclusion stems from life-long core values. From attending Tuskegee University, a Historically Black College and University, to continue my higher education at The University of Alabama, I have always believed that there is value in every individual no matter their background or beliefs. With this in mind, my passion to make a difference in the lives of those who are historically disadvantaged has been a firm driver of my almost two-decade-long career and eventually led me to my current role as a senior manager of supplier diversity. For me, it’s about trying to make the world a just and equitable place for everyone. Meet the Supplier Diversity Team As part of The Walt Disney Company’s Supplier Diversity team, I work with my amazing colleagues to identify and include diverse suppliers in our sourcing processes. This means providing opportunities to business owners from varying backgrounds including people of color, women, veterans, service-disabled veterans, LGBTQ+ and disabled business owners. Our work gives a voice to diverse suppliers by advocating on their behalf, enabling opportunities for their participation and by working to educate everyone, inside and outside of our company, on the tremendous impact inclusion and diversity positively translates to within businesses and beyond. You might have unknowingly already come across our work without even realizing it. For example, one of our bottling suppliers responsible for getting guest-favorite beverages into our parks is one of the largest African American-owned businesses in the State of Florida. Have you been to Batuu to experience the groundbreaking technology at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland? Well, a woman-owned firm that has provided engineering services to the park for many years helped bring the experience to life. These are just two of the many examples of diverse suppliers that my team and I work to contract with The Walt Disney Company. For us, we believe that providing opportunities to diverse suppliers creates a domino effect that positively impacts everyone. We’ve opened our sourcing process to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to participate – because when everyone participates, everyone wins. I’m thankful that my team and The Walt Disney Company are doing our part to leave a lasting and positive mark on the business community and diverse entrepreneurs around the country. During Black History Month – and every day – we proudly unite in celebrating the cultures that bring us together and make up our communities. We look forward to continuing to share more stories about the impact we’re driving around the world. We invite you to be a part of our magic and learn more about our Supplier Diversity efforts at The Walt Disney Company by visiting https://supplierdiversity.disney.com/. View the full article
