  1. We’ve eaten at every single restaruant in Disney World. No, we aren’t exaggerating! We’ve literally tried them all, and trust us, we have opinions on which are the best. We have an ongoing list of the best restaurants, but there’s one you might really want to know about. Geyser Point Let’s chat about Geyser Point Bar & Grill at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. It might be the hidden gem you’ve been looking for! Should this restaurant, which you might have never heard of, be so highly ranked on our list? We think so! It’s a cozy bar that we think deserves far more recognition than it has. Dining area Being in the Wilderness Lodge, we get those cozy vibes and want to cuddle up under a blanket with a cup of hot chocolate (maybe with a little something extra in it). We use this as an escape from the chaos. Whether you’re staying at Wilderness Lodge and looking for a spot, or visiting from Magic Kingdom, you’ll appreciate the nature theme that makes us feel like we’re heading to the cabin. You can hop on a boat from Magic Kingdom to make it easy, too. Geyser Point Food While the food here isn’t necessarily super adventurous, it is pretty different from the classic fried chicken and hot dog options. There are small bites like Crispy “Peking” Ribs… Crispy “Peking” Ribs … Charcuterie Flatbread… Charcuterie Flatbread …and even plant-based Mac and Cheese Bites. We’re pretty obsessed with mac and cheese bites, and to find good plant-based ones almost never happens. Macaroni and “Cheese” Bites There are other rustic options like the Bison Cheeseburger, which is literally our favorite. This thing is cooked to perfection and topped with marionberry jam and garlic aioli (cause yeah, we’re not choosing between the two). Bison Cheeseburger Wilderness Lodge is literally out in the woods, so it’s great when you want to really escape from everything else. It can be a bit of a trek if you’re not already heading there, but sometimes it’s nice to take a little extra time and relax on the boat over. Wilderness Lodge Boat Launch We’re going to be ranking the best 20 restaurants across Disney World on our YouTube Channel on April 20th, which you definitely don’t want to miss. Did your favorite make the list? Did you just fine twenty restaurants you need to try for yourself? You can check it all out on our channel. 2. When it comes to planning for your next Disney World trip, things can get overwhelming quickly. Luckily, that’s what we’re here for! Magic Kingdom’s Cinderella Castle And, if you’re a self-proclaimed Disney Adult like we are, well, sometimes you just need to let people know what you’re about. Whether you’re getting ready to head to Disney World for the first time or the five-hundredth time, we’re pretty sure every Disney Adult needs this before their next trip! I’m starting to think I need a “Disney Adult” hat for my next Disney World trip…for very serious reasons, of course. You know, like letting everyone at rope drop know exactly who they’re dealing with: the person who already mobile ordered my snacks, booked my Lightning Lanes, and has a full snack strategy before the park even opens. We think you need this Disney Adult hat for very important reasons, too, like letting other people at rope drop know not to mess with you… ©DFB …so strangers know they can ask you for Lightning Lane advice… ©DFB …to use as a bat signal for fellow Disney Adults… ©DFB …to hide your tears that you definitely didn’t shed while watching Happily Ever After fireworks… ©DFB …and to cover the sweat on your brow from your third lap around EPCOT just for snacks! ©DFB Get your very own Disney Adult hat here! 3. A LOT is going on in Disney’s Hollywood Studios right now, and if you’re visiting the park, don’t be surprised that things are looking a LOT different these days. Muppets Courtyard is gone, to be replaced by a new Monsters, Inc. land. Animation Courtyard is being reimagined as The Walt Disney Studios. And The Muppets are busy taking over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Well, we recently spotted ANOTHER change in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Now this isn’t as big as, say, a new ride or new land. But it is something that makes us extremely happy because it adds a little more shade to the land. Yes, new canopies have been added to the area around Savi’s Workshop. If we have one complaint about Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, it’s that there isn’t a lot of shade. Instead of a nice forested planet like Endor, Disney decided to build Batuu, which is a dusty planet on the Outer Rim with two suns and few trees. Now, though, at least part of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has more shade. New canopies have been added to the area near Savi’s Workshop. More shade! These shaded areas might add a little respite from the heat generated by Batuu’s twin suns (aka Florida’s summer heat). Now, you can find shade inside shops and in the marketplace, but if those areas are crowded, make your way over to near Savi’s for some shade. Canopies We’ll never complain about more shaded areas in Disney World, and we hope this is a trend that continues in areas of the parks that desperately need it, like Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. We’ll also keep an eye out for more Disney World updates and changes, so stay tuned to DFB for more. 5. Florida rainstorms can hit hard, and even though we know to expect them during the hotter months, they can still throw us completely off our game. Sometimes forgetting your rain jacket gives you a chance to run through the puddles, though. Storm season! Even when celebrities visit Disney World, it doesn’t mean the rainstorms are going to stop for them! We just saw one of our favorite celebrities come to Disney World, and Florida gave her family plenty of time to play in the puddles. Bindi Irwin was visiting Florida with her family and, of course, had to visit Disney World! They got caught in the rain in the EPCOT parking lot (which, speaking from experience, is one of the worst places to get caught in). ©bindisueirwin on Instagram They also met Cinderella in 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian! This character dining features Cinderella, Aladdin, Mirabel, and Princess Tiana. ©bindisueirwin on Instagram A little more rain fun! ©bindisueirwin on Instagram We love seeing celebrities visit Disney World because it shows they can live a normal life just like us. They ride their favorite attractions, try the best snacks, and get caught in the rain. The best thing to do is smile and keep moving on — you’re in Disney after all, and you can’t have a bad day in Disney. We’re always caught in a rain storm If you’re heading to Disney World soon, you’ll probably want to be prepared for the rain. We like to bring rain jackets or umbrellas, and if you’re bringing an umbrella, don’t forget to pull it out of your bag before going through security. Always gotta be ready for rain We also like to have backup plans for our favorite outdoor rides. Planning on riding Dumbo 100 times, but it starts to rain? Have a backup attraction that the whole family can enjoy. Pluto riding Dumbo You can also make dining reservations for longer, indoor restaurants when you see rain on the horizon. It’s nice to have a guaranteed spot where you can wait out the rain and enjoy some good food while you’re at it. Sitting inside while the storm passes? 9. If you’ve been putting off booking your next cruise, you might want to rethink that strategy. Disney Adventure A growing trend across the travel industry shows that cruisers are locking in their vacations earlier than ever, and for good reason. If you have been waiting to book a cruise, this is your sign to do it sooner rather than later. If you are hoping to book a cruise soon, our friends over at Small World Vacations, Inc can help! You can receive a completely FREE quote on your vacation. According to Independent.co, waiting too long could mean missing out on the best cabins, the lowest prices, and even your preferred sailing dates. One of the biggest reasons travelers are booking earlier is simple: availability. Cruise ships only have so many staterooms, and the most desirable ones, think verandah rooms, concierge-level suites, or specific locations on the ship, tend to disappear fast. According to Carnival UK and P&O Cruises president Paul Ludlow, “the most noticeable shift in booking behaviour is how early people are committing,” noting that guests are “locking in their holidays further ahead than ever to secure their favourite cabins, specific dates, itineraries.” For Disney fans, this is especially important, since high-demand sailings like holiday cruises and new ship itineraries can sell out incredibly quickly. Disney Cruise Ship Another major factor? Pricing. Cruise lines often release their lowest fares when itineraries first become available, sometimes years in advance. That same report points out that travelers are eager “to take advantage of launch pricing,” which can make a significant difference in overall cost. In today’s economic climate, price certainty matters more than ever. As Ludlow explains, “guests value the reassurance of knowing exactly what’s included… combined with the ability to lock in today’s prices,” which is helping drive this surge in early bookings. Marvel Landing There’s also peace of mind that comes with early planning. When your cruise is booked well in advance, you have time to pay it off gradually, plan excursions, and secure those hard-to-get reservations. Plus, there’s an emotional benefit too. “There’s a real emotional lift and eager anticipation that comes from booking early,” Ludlow says, especially when guests are planning sailings “one or two years away.” That excitement is part of what makes a Disney vacation so special and why many travelers don’t want to wait. Treasure Ship And if you’re thinking you’ll just wait for a last-minute deal, you may want to reconsider. While those offers still exist, they’re becoming less common. CEO of Ambassador Cruise Line, Christian Verhounig, explains, “There will always be a demand for last-minute deals, but we are seeing a significant shift towards early bookings,” with travelers planning “well in advance of the departure date when availability is high.” In fact, demand has grown so much that some cruise lines are releasing itineraries earlier than ever to keep up. Welcome to the Disney Treasure! Booking your cruise earlier than planned isn’t just a trend. It’s quickly becoming the smartest way to travel. From better pricing to more choices and less stress, early planning gives you a serious advantage. What’s so cool and unique about this re-theme is that G-Force Records still exists and will still be the setting of the ride. However, now the record studio is managed by J.P Grosse, Scooter’s uncle. In this new story, guests will be taking a VIP tour of G-Force Records when we stumble into an Electric Mayhem recording session. ©Disney And just like the original, their manager is trying to get the band to stop playing so they have time to make it to a big show, and you know the rest! We’ve got to get in a limo, let’s hope a super stretch, to make it across town in time for the show! We love that Disney has decided to keep the original vibe and story of this beloved attraction, with a fun Muppets twist. ©Disney Disney also shared that each song will be revealed one at a time, leading up to a major announcement on April 16th — does that mean we’ll get an opening date soon?! Oh, and we also got our FIRST LOOK at The Electric Mayhem on this ride, too! Here’s Dr. Teeth… ©Disney Zoot… ©Disney …Sgt. Floyd Pepper and Janice… ©Disney …and Animal! ©Disney We can’t wait to see what this ride will be like, and we’ll make sure to keep you informed of all new updates as they come out! 14. This summer at Disney World is bringing a lot of new things to the parks, but this one might actually make your day more complicated. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Cool Kids’ SUMMER is happening this year from May 26th to September 8th at Disney World. This event will bring back MORE Disney character appearances and limited-time experiences around the Resort. One of the new experiences that will kick off Cool Kids’ Summer will be at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and it involves two adorable new characters. Bluey, the wildly popular television show, has officially hit the Disney Parks! The recent debut of Bluey’s Best Day Ever at Disneyland Park proved exactly that, drawing massive, overwhelming crowds that quickly turned into a logistical headache. Now, with Bluey and Bingo heading to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, there’s a big question on everyone’s mind — will Disney World be ready? Bluey’s Best Day Ever When “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” opened on March 22nd at Disneyland, the crowd response was… intense. The show, hosted in the Fantasyland Theatre, had multiple showtimes throughout the day, interactive elements, and appearances from Bluey and Bingo. On paper, it sounded like a dream. In reality, opening day quickly spiraled into chaos. It felt very unorganized because we didn’t think anyone expected these crowds. They cut the line after the second show to make sure they could fit everyone in the theater. Some people who were lined up since the first show started were able to watch it during the last show. Lines stretched far beyond the theater, with our reporter seeing it reach all the way to Sleeping Beauty Castle. You Won’t Believe the CROWDS for Disney’s New Bluey Attraction Bluey’s Best Day Ever Over at Disney World, things will look a bit different, but there are some logistics here that will provide their own issues. “Bluey’s Wild World” is set to debut on May 26th at Conservation Station inside Rafiki’s Planet Watch at Animal Kingdom. Unlike Disneyland’s theater-based show, this experience will be more free-flowing and interactive. Due to that exact setup and its location, we are concerned. Rafiki’s Planet Watch can only be accessed by the Wildlife Express Train, which could become the biggest bottleneck of all. Conservation Station If Disneyland’s opening day taught us anything, it’s that demand will likely exceed expectations. And at Animal Kingdom, that demand is going to funnel through a very specific path. The Wildlife Express Train could quickly become a crowd control tool. Disney may limit how many guests are allowed to board at a time to prevent Conservation Station from becoming overwhelmed. That means long lines not just for the Bluey experience, but to even get over to that area. The Wildlife Express Even guests who have no interest in Bluey could feel the ripple effects. Increased crowds in that area could shift wait times, alter park flow, and force families to rethink their usual Animal Kingdom strategies. If you’re planning to visit Animal Kingdom around May 26th or after, preparation will be key. First, consider heading to the Wildlife Express Train as early as possible. It has not been shared if Bluey’s Wild World will be open during Early Theme Park Entry, but even if not, we recommend heading that way to be some of the first people on the train. Wildlife Express While we don’t have a ton of logistical information on the new experience yet, we will bring you any news that comes out about Bluey’s Wild World as we get closer to opening day! 16. So maybe you’ve heard us talk about Cool KIDS’ Summer — we’re kinda obsessed with it. It’s when Disney World transforms the parks and hotels to focus on families with additional character meet and greets, entertainment offerings, and more, and it’s just a fun way to see the parks in a different light. Pluto! We’ve been talking about the main perks, but there are three underrated offerings that could make your trip even more magical. Cool KID’s Summer runs from May 26th to September 8th. These three perks are coming to four Disney World hotels, including: Disney’s Pop Century Resort Disney’s Art of Animation Resort Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort Disney’s Port Orleans — Riverside Disney’s Pop Century While characters have been known to randomly pop into resorts, the four hotels will feature scheduled character meet and greets, and we’re so excited to see which friends visit. While that’s a main perk, let’s talk about the added benefits you don’t want to forget about. Complimentary Childcare Items Items like bottle warmers, infant bathtubs, diaper disposal units, and nightlights “will be ready and waiting.” These items are meant to help care for little ones and to make life just a little bit easier, and one less thing to pack in your suitcase. It’s nice to know everyone in the family will be taken care of. Art of Animation room Special Libraries Created by Disney Publishing, special libraries will be curated and feature Disney favorites. On select evenings will present a “cozy pajama party” that includes story time and other bedtime activities. Snuggling up in pajamas with a good book as an escape from the chaos during your vacation? Say less! Kids’ Area in Pop Century Campfires These resorts will also have campfires on select evenings with toasted marshmallows and Disney-inspired sing-alongs. While there are campfires at other Disney hotels, it sounds like they will be more consistent at these resorts, and who doesn’t love the addition of sing-alongs? Campfire at Riviera This is just the start of the perks! All Disney World hotel resort guests get a free park ticket to the water parks to use on their arrival day. You can visit Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach, but keep in mind that these tickets are only available from May 26th to September 8th, and you have to use them the day of your check-in. Blizzard Beach All Disney World hotels also have access to Early Entry, which is when you get to enter the parks 30 minutes earlier than normal day guests. For Cool KIDS’ Summer, there will be more Disney character meet and greets across all four parks. 22. One thing almost every Disney Experience has in common? Costumes! From cast member attire to the magical threads worn in stage productions and in our parades, there’s so many different costumes in rotation at any given time. From programs in our parks to thoughtful design from Disney Live Entertainment, we’re celebrating Earth Month by spotlighting costuming efforts around the globe. Our Disney Live Entertainment costuming teams are continuing to reevaluate our costume production and increasing use of sustainable materials in costume design year over year. Other environmentally sustainable efforts stem from supporting local organizations like theatre and school costume programs through donations. To expand our impact, Disney has even created our own costume upcycling and recycling programs. Here’s how our parks and experiences are taking a fresh, Earth-friendly approach to costuming our cast members. Cast Costumes at Walt Disney World We’re always looking for ways to improve the cast experience and our latest costume designs keep fit, function and comfort top of mind by using updated fabric technology that’s lightweight, moisture resistant and serves as a strong sun protectant. They’re also designed with the environment in mind: Currently, 20% of all materials used in Walt Disney World operational costumes are made with recycled components, and that number continues to grow. This selection of carefully redesigned costumes includes dozens of locations and roles across Walt Disney World such as Coral Reef Restaurant, Jungle Cruise, Savanna Guides, Kilimanjaro Safaris, The Seas with Nemo & Friends, Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana, and many more. What about costumes no longer in use? Components of retired garments that are unable to be donated are evaluated for recycling including all clear rain gear, fabric scraps from the Costuming department, and sneakers worn by performers. Fun fact: The Cosmetology team at Walt Disney World has recycled over 1 million bobby pins to date! Upcycled Merchandise at Tokyo Disney Resort At Tokyo Disney Resort, guests can enjoy their favorite experiences in a unique way thanks to the resort’s Circulating Smiles initiative, which takes retired cast member costumes and turns them into merchandise through upcycling. Patch badges and tote bags were crafted using materials from Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters and Big Thunder Mountain costumes, while pouches were created from fabric previously used in costumes worn by cast members at the Pooh Corner shop in Tokyo Disneyland. These limited-edition items resonated strongly with guests, pairing sustainability with nostalgia. Costume Recycling at Disneyland Paris The Disneyland Paris entertainment team is committed to providing a second life for worn or retired cast member costumes through upcycling but instead of merchandise, we’re creating materials! Utilizing recycling bins across the resort, Disneyland Paris collects costumes no longer suitable for everyday use, and after careful fraying, the costumes are transformed into felt insulation that is then sent to local organizations for future construction in the community. Nearly 15 tons of costumes were recycled in 2023 and 2024, which is equivalent to almost 33,000 pieces of costumes.  Prioritizing planet-friendly costume design, garment upcycling and outfit recycling are just a number of ways Disney is committed to sustainability and environmental responsibility at our parks and resorts. 23. A dead phone at Disney World isn’t just an inconvenience. It can derail your whole day. Our phone is Disney ready! From mobile ordering food to pulling up your park ticket at the tapstile, your phone is basically your lifeline at Walt Disney World. That means keeping it charged is a real priority, and knowing how to do that smartly before you leave home will save you a lot of stress (and money) once you’re inside the parks. DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. Hold It Out at Security Before anything else, here’s something a lot of first-timers learn the hard way: power banks can set off the security scanner if you leave them in your bag or pockets. TTC security Cast Members will ask you to pull them out anyway, so save yourself the holdup and hold any portable chargers out in front of you as you walk through. It’s a small habit that keeps the security line moving and gets you to the fun faster. You’re Not Breaking Any Rules by Bringing One Some guests worry about whether portable chargers are actually allowed inside Disney World. Good news: Disney’s website does not list any specific rules prohibiting them in the parks, at Disney Springs, or at the hotels. Bring your charger without any guilt. The only real “rule” here is making sure it’s packed and ready to go before you head out the door. Don’t Buy Your Charger Inside the Park Fuel Rod Station at Casey’s Corner in Magic Kingdom This one will save you real money. FuelRod kiosks are all over Disney World, and while they’re incredibly convenient, you’ll pay a premium for that convenience. Here’s a better move: you can get a two-pack of FuelRod USB-C Portable Charger Kits on Amazon for the same price as a single FuelRod from a park kiosk. Swapping out for free Each one comes fully charged with adapters and cables for most smart devices, and the swap feature is the real sell here. When your rod runs out of juice, you can instantly swap it for a fully charged one at any FuelRod kiosk nationwide, including the ones already inside the parks. 24. New menu alert! Whenever we hear there’s a new menu, we set off a red alert for the team, and we become totally obsessed with it until we can get our hands on it. The alarm goes off a lot, but we’re also pretty excited. Wine Bar George Wine Bar George in Disney Springs added some new brunch items, and we’re pretty sure we’ve found where everyone will go for brunch from now on. First up, we have the Yogurt Parfait for $10, which comes with Greek yogurt, fresh fruit, and granola. Yogurt Parfait This was fresh and a nice, lighter take for breakfast, especially if you’re planning to share some dishes at the table or you have a heavier dinner planned. It wasn’t too sweet but was light and refreshing, with the gronala adding a nice crunch on top. The fruit was cold, tasted fresh, and had a perfect texture with the yogurt. We think it was a pretty reasonable price, too. It’s beautiful, too Then we tried the Seasonal Salad for $14, which features vegetables, croutons, and shallot vinaigrette. Seasonal Salad The Seasonal Salad was also pretty light and refreshing, with a citrusy, acidic dressing that was still on the sweet side. Our server told us they wanted to aim for something simple yet refined for spring and summer, and mentioned that their other salads felt overly complicated. This one really let the ingredients shine! The tomatoes had a really nice sweetness, and the cucumbers had a perfect snap. We felt like a few croutons were a little stale, but the salad base was solid with no wilted or gross salad pieces. It was a great option and felt like summer! Lots of great textures We couldn’t resist the French Toast for $19 with diplomat cream, fresh fruit, and maple syrup. French Toast Sometimes all you need is plain old good French toast. The fruit was fresh, the diplomat cream was delicious, and the powdered sugar was a nice touch. It can be hard to find good French toast, but we can definitely add one to our list. You got two slices that were pretty big and thick, which we thought was lovely for the price, and they weren’t too sweet, either. So fresh Finally, we ended with the Chocolate Almond Tart for $9, featuring chocolate ganache and green chartreuse. Chocolate Almond Tart What a perfect way to end the meal! It had a nice, crunchy bottom and a subtle chocolate flavor, elevated by the salt on top. The middle layer is like the inside of a soft cookie! The almond flavor is there on the crust with chunks of almond throughout. We would definitely get this again, especially for $9. Give us MORE We loved all of our dishes, and we thought our server was super knowledgeable on the menu, too, which always adds to our experience. Brunch at Wine Bar George is only available from 10:30 AM to 2 PM on Saturdays and Sundays, so you’ll want to plan accordingly. We also liked sitting outside on the patio, but inside seating is available as well. 25. Okay, we have a lot of love in Disney World. We have a passion for “plastic” nacho cheese and are always down for a Mickey-shaped anything, but what can we say, priorities are changing. Spun Sugar We’re always going through the World Showcase to find unique snacks and souvenirs, which is perfect considering they have items from all over the world, but after trying this unique snack, we can’t stop visiting the China Pavilion. Please say hello to spun sugar art, which you can find in the China Pavilion in EPCOT. The last time we saw this was the 2020 EPCOT Festival of the Arts, but when we saw it come back a few weeks ago, it’s suddenly been everything we talk about. Gorgeous! You can find it in the House of Good Fortune, and while Disney hasn’t mentioned it going away or anything, we’re still upset it went away in the first place, so we’re making it a priority every time we visit. The cost depends on your design, but you get to watch the artist make the design, so it’s interactive too. Look at them making it! The dragonfly, swan, kitten, panda, and dog designs are $9, and the hummingbird, butterfly, owls, horse, and bunny are $14. Prices The dragon and phoenix are $25. Of course, since it’s mostly a stick of sugar, it’s going to be SWEET. Now, that doesn’t really bother us because anytime we finish a salty treat like a soft pretzel, we immediately need something sweet, and this is perfect. The pieces can snap off easily, so be aware when you’re walking around with it. The Dragon! It’s basically dinner and a show! You get to watch them create your snack, take beautiful photos, and then eat it. What’s there not to like?
