If you’ve ever flown to the Orlando Airport, you know it can be quite hectic. It’s a big airport with a lot of people, and almost everyone is wearing Mickey ears (us included). Whenever there’s a change at the airport, we’re on high alert because a good change can mean your flying experience goes more smoothly, or you need to be ready for the chaos. Orlando International Airport According to Fox Orlando, Orlando Airport is undergoing some changes, and we’re breaking them down right here! Virgin Atlantic will relocate all arrivals and departures from Terminal A to Terminal C starting on June 30th. ©Virgin Atlantic Terminal C has recently been expanded, adding four new gates to accommodate both narrow-body and widebody aircraft. Virgin Atlantic currently has daily nonstop flights between Orlando and London Heathrow and Manchester, along with a seasonal service to Edinburgh, Scotland. MCO Airport Security The Orlando Airport says this relocation is part of a broader strategy to balance passenger traffic across terminals and improve efficiency at security checkpoints, concessions, and other passenger areas. Rental car services will continue to be available across all three terminals. Orlando International Airport There are tons of changes coming to the Orlando Airport, including parking enhancements, including a $13.9 million Parking Guidance System that will provide real-time information on about 11,000 spaces located throughout the four parking garages, as well as the addition of 8,000 new spaces. If you’ve ever tried to park your car and go inside to pick up someone, you know how the parking spots are almost always full no matter what time of the day! ©Orlando International Airport Orlando Airport is also adding tons of new restaurants, including well-known chains and local spots. Personally, I’m excited to see Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream, a local ice cream spot in Orlando, coming to the airport. Who doesn’t like grabbing a sweet treat before heading on their plane? We know there’s a lot happening across all Disney Parks, but you didn’t forget about the Spider-Man roller coaster coming to Shanghai Disney Resort, did you? ©Disney Disney just took a HUGE step forward for the roller coaster, and now we’re starting to question if it’s too early to book our plane tickets to Shanghai? The final track piece has been installed on the Spider-Man roller coaster! This coaster is part of the all-new Spider-Man-themed land, and completing track installation is massive. ©Disney The new land is the ninth themed land and is located near the Zootopia land. It will be their first major Marvel offering, and construction started in May 2025, which means they’re working super fast on the project. The roller coaster doesn’t have an official name yet, but we’re really looking forward to learning more. ©Disney The project was announced in 2024 at D23, and with the next D23 coming up in August, we’re hoping for an opening date! ©Disney For Shanghai Disney, this is their third major expansion, and the new land will feature Spider-Man and friends-themed shopping, food and beverage, and entertainment experiences that extend the story and invite you into the Web-Slinger’s world. Doesn’t that sound awesome? ©Disney Two new hotels are also coming to the resort! Shanghai Disney Resort is sharing some MAJOR news about their new upcoming hotel! ©Shanghai Disney Resort This will be the resort’s third hotel on property, and after years of waiting, we finally have some NEW DETAILS about the expansion. Here’s everything we know! Shanghai Disney’s brand-new resort finally has a name! Everyone, say hello to Shanghai Disney Enchanted Star Hotel! In a post online, the Disney resort confirmed the new name and even detailed the inspiration behind the name. The new hotel is inspired by Disney’s famous Wishing Star, and they even gave us a brand-new look at what we can expect to see. ©Disney The Enchanted Star Hotel will be a nine-story deluxe hotel inspired by Shanghai’s architectural legacy and will be decorated in the Art Nouveau style. The hotel’s guiding principle is “authentically Disney and distinctly Chinese.” Disney has promised this new hotel will offer an “immersive themed accommodation experience.” In the new concept art, you can see white, green, and gold detailing throughout the exterior. ©Disney This is the third themed hotel on the property, in addition to the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel and Toy Story Hotel. This hotel first broke ground in 2023, so we have been eagerly awaiting new details! The hotel was previously confirmed to be a deluxe one, and it will have 400 rooms. When it was first confirmed, Disney shared, “The new hotel will immerse guests in spaces and activities which showcase Disney characters and stories, introduce new dining, shopping, and entertainment experiences, and provide more options for guests planning multi-day visits to the resort.” Shanghai Disneyland Hotel ©Shanghai Disney Resort They are also currently developing a fourth hotel in addition to these three. The fourth hotel will be the closest to the park’s Main Gate entrance, and Disney has shared it will welcome its guests into a “premium destination infused with Disney stories and imagination.” The hotel will have an “unprecedented immersive storytelling experience in a way that Disney uniquely brings to life.” ©Shanghai Disney Resort This Disney resort is seriously growing on its 10th anniversary because they also previously announced that the resort is getting an expansion of Soaring Over the Horizon. The attraction will be getting an approximately 50% increase in current capacity, AND there will be a new special ending for the attraction! Not only that, but they’re also working on a brand new Spider-Man Land in the theme park. They have already shared that the land will feature a high-speed coaster, which will be a “fully immersive experience.” Guests will soon be able to experience an all-new Spider-Man themed coaster coming to Shanghai Disneyland. NEW fireworks alert! Epic Universe We all know no theme park day is complete without watching the fireworks. Universal Orlando just announced a brand-new show starting next month, and y’all, this might be the ultimate fireworks show. Starting July 7th, you’ll be able to catch Universal Celestial Goodnight at Epic Universe! It features lighting, dancing water features, and a breathtaking fireworks display, all set to an awe-inspiring soundtrack. The best way to put it? It’s EPIC! ©Universal It will run nightly starting July 7th in Celestial Park, which is the first land you see when you enter Epic Universe. It was developed by Universal’s award-winning entertainment team and will pay tribute to inspiring characters and adventures all found within the different portals of Epic Universe. At Disney Springs, you can get pretty much any type of food under the sun, all in one place. So it shouldn’t be a surprise that a quick-service spot exclusively serves up the Canadian delicacy, poutine! Beef And Mushroom Poutine The Daily Poutine offers tons of fun, specialty-flavored poutines, so when we saw they had a brand-new Beef and Mushroom Poutine, we had to run to Disney Springs and try it! The Beef and Mushroom Poutine is $12.99 at The Daily Poutine. This is a heaping serving of French fries smothered in beef brisket, button mushrooms, brown poutine gravy, cheese curds, and lime crema curds. Beef And Mushroom Poutine The fries are crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and well-salted. The brown gravy is thick, rich, and smothered on top of the fries, and the beef and mushrooms are tossed in the gravy, too. The brisket is tender and melts in your mouth, while the mushrooms bring in an earthy taste, but they’re not in every bite. The cheese curds add a nice crunch and bring in the cheesiness of a typical poutine. Beef And Mushroom Poutine We’d recommend this to poutine lovers wanting to try something new, and brisket fans will love how meaty this is. It’s a very filling portion size and can easily be shared between two people. However, the heavy poutine might not mix well with a hot Florida day. When we’re at any of the Disney Parks around the world, the fireworks are a must-do. They’re the grand finale of your magical day, and Disney has some of the best fireworks in the world. Cinderella Castle in Tokyo Disneyland But if the fireworks are also on your bucket list, we have some bad news. A popular international Disney park just canceled its fireworks show for the summer season! Sky Full of Colors is a popular fireworks show at Tokyo Disneyland, bringing millions of viewers a year. But the show is going on hiatus soon – its last performance will be today, June 14th! Disney hasn’t announced when the show will be back or why it was canceled, but we have a great guess as Disney experts. ©Disney Historically, fireworks shows at Tokyo Disney are paused during the summer due to unpredictable weather in Tokyo. The summer months bring high winds and humidity, which can cause fires if something goes wrong. Even in the international parks, safety is Disney’s number one priority. Cinderella Castle in Tokyo Disneyland While Disney hasn’t announced a return date, they typically resume around the same time of year. Looking at 2025, the fireworks paused on June 14th and returned on September 15th. Then in 2024, the fireworks were on hiatus from July 1st to September 18th. Vivoli il Gelato On our last visit, we tried the Toasted Coconut Affogato for $11.50. This is made with Toasted Coconut Gelato, a shot of Espresso, and shaved toasted coconut on top. If you love coconut and coffee, then this treat is a dream come true! The Coconut Gelato is thick and creamy without the heavy feeling typically associated with traditional ice cream. Toasted Coconut Affogato The toasted coconut flavor is strong and present in every sip, and the espresso is so smooth, creating a perfectly rich treat. This was much better than any other blended coffee treat. And if you love coffee and coconut, it is definitely worth a try on your next trip to Disney Springs. Tilly’s Booth at Main Street Cinema Once you tap your band, you will be issued your very own ticket for “Celebrating 70 Magical Year at Disneyland.” We are starting off our ticket collection strong! Our ticket said, “Valued Magic Key Holder” and a Cast Member mentioned that there are also options for Club 33 and DVC to be printed, but we don’t know what a regular ticket would say if you were a Magic Key Holder, Club 33 member, or DVC member. Tilly’s Booth at Main Street Cinema On the back, it says, “Admit One” and “A New Verse, A Tribute to the Sherman Brothers.” We had a great time visiting Tilly, but it is time to make our way to the next stop! Tilly’s Booth at Main Street Cinema Frontierland Booth at Silver Spur Supplies Next up, we stopped by the Frontierland Booth at Silber Spur Supplies. This MagicBand+ activation has THREE touchpoints, and of course, we are checking them all out. Frontierland Booth at Silver Spur Supplies The first touchpoint printed us off a ticket for Mark Twain’s Riverboat. Each time you get a ticket, a fun little audio clip also plays, so make sure to keep your ears open! Golden Horseshoe Revue Our collection of tickets is growing! Time to head over to our next stop. Skipper Lockers at Jungle Cruise in Adventureland We made our way over to the Skipper Lockers at Jungle Cruise to find the next MagicBand+ activation. Skipper Lockers at Jungle Cruise Tap your MagicBand+ on the touchpoint and you will receive a little ticket for your riverboat cruise. Riverboat Cruise Ticket Each ticket tells you which boat you will be traveling aboard and even includes which crew you will be a part of. Each crew has a meaning, so don’t forget to ask a Skipper what your crew means once you get your ticket! You will also find your crew on one of the lockers. Riverboat Cruise Ticket Now that we have grabbed our riverboat cruise ticket, let’s head over to our next stop! Fantasyland Window by Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique The Fantasyland Window activation has five different touchpoints that opens up shields in the display to show diorama scenes of different characters and attractions in Fantasyland. There is a diorama that shows Snow White and the Evil Queen, Mad Hatter and Dormouse, Peter Pan, Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, and the King Arthur Carrousel. Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride Unlike the first three activations, you don’t receive any sort of ticket with these interactions. Tapping your MagicBand+ just opens up one of the dioramas and you get to watch a short display. They are still a lot of fun, though, and it is pretty cool to tap your MagicBand+ to start a little show. Evil Queen There is one last location for MagicBand+ activations; however, it wasn’t available when we stopped by. But we still want to tell you a bit about it! Autopia in Tomorrowland Unfortunately, the Autotopia interaction was not installed yet, so we were unable to experience this one. Cast Members in the area did not know exactly where it would be installed, but this is an additional interaction to look forward to at some point in the future! It will likely be somewhere by Autopia based on the name from Disney, but we will keep you updated as we learn more. Disney Vacation Club Members, listen up! We have some very exciting news to share. Next month, Disney World is celebrating the Fourth of July in style, and DVC has decided to get in on all the fun! ©Disney This year, the Fourth of July marks the 250th Anniversary of the United States, so Disney is going all out, including an event exclusively available to DVC members. Here’s everything you need to know. Members can celebrate the 250th Anniversary of America with a red, white, and blue dance party inside the Atlantic Dance Hall at Disney’s Boardwalk! This event will be taking place on July 1st and 2nd from 11 AM to 1 PM. It will include lots of fun music and even appearances from some of your favorite Disney Characters. Atlantic Dance Hall This event is such a fun way to celebrate the Fourth of July and have some extra Disney fun. To attend this event, members must qualify for the DVC Membership Extras benefits and have an eligible reservation at a Disney World resort on the event days. To accommodate as many members as possible, you are only allowed to attend one of the two events. BoardWalk It’s also important to note that while registration is not required, this event can reach capacity, and in that situation, guests may have to wait in line outside until space opens up. Lastly, admission is limited to four guests per Membership Card or the number of guests staying in the room. This event is going to be so cool, and we love that Disney is offering this special bit of Fourth of July fun for Disney Vacation Club members. We often find that many of Disney World’s hotel pool bars can be underrated. They’re also not the first place you think of when you plan to dine at a Disney World hotel, but just like everywhere else in Disney World, they’re not all made equally. Time for some new menu items! Recently, we stopped by Saratoga Springs Resort to check out the two new offerings at Paddock Grill. There’s a new drink and a new breakfast wrap that could make it a fantastic early morning stop before heading into the parks, or to fuel yourself for a pool day. Is it worth it, though? That’s what we set out to discover! Paddock Bar is the pool bar located right near Paddock Pool, and is known for serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which is a big perk. To drink, we snagged the new Chocolate-Hazelnut Latte for $6.99, which can be served either hot or iced. We decided to get ours iced since it was a hot day, and found it to be very tasty and even refreshing for a warmer day. They put a lot of chocolate drizzle on the sides of the cup that you have to stir in, but once we did, it had more of a hazelnut flavor rather than chocolate. It’s a sweeter latte, so if that’s your thing, we think you’ll really enjoy this one. Iced Chocolate-Hazelnut Latte To eat, we grabbed the Steak, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Wrap for $11.79. In terms of food that you can get around Disney, this one falls in the average category. It’s a wrap you can find at most breakfast places, but that doesn’t mean it was bad! Steak, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Wrap The main flavor that came through was the egg, whereas we couldn’t taste the cheese that much and would have preferred a bit more steak, but the flavors weren’t unbalanced too much. The size was also pretty decent for the price, especially since it also comes with tater tots, and overall, we’d get it again, but wouldn’t go out of our way for it. Bluey’s Wild World has been quite the hit in Disney’s Animal Kingdom since its opening in late May, but Disney is certainly still working out some slight issues. Wildlife Express They started by using a Virtual Queue for the attraction, then did away with it at the beginning of June, which helps planning in some ways, but makes things a bit more difficult in other ways. Recently, when we were heading to the attraction, we noticed a few things that could affect the accessibility of the experience, which we feel you need to know about. If you’re traveling to the parks and will be using an accessible vehicle, such as a wheelchair or ECV, it’s important you know that there is only one space for those on wheels in each train car on the Wildlife Express. This means that, per train, there are only about six spaces for people on wheels to safely ride. In our experience, we noticed the accessible line for the train was quite long for this very reason, and it included families who were traveling with strollers that weren’t able to fold up. Wildlife Express sign While there’s not much that can be done for those using ECVs and wheelchairs, especially if they aren’t able to transfer, for families who are traveling with strollers, we recommend either using stroller parking to put your stroller off to the side before getting in the regular line, or coming to the park with a stroller that can indeed fold up. Not only may that make your wait a little shorter, but you’ll also help out those in the accessible line who aren’t able to move to the regular queue. Strollers in Animal Kingdom However, we do also want to let you know that while there are usually loaner strollers available at Bluey’s Wild World for you to use while you wander around the area, on a recent trip, we also noticed that the loaner strollers at the station were gone when we arrived AND when we were leaving. This means that if there are families banking on those strollers being available, and that’s why they don’t bring their stroller over, they may find themselves in a sticky situation. Again, this is tricky, and there’s no way “around” it per se, but if you know your child will need a stroller the whole day, we recommend bringing a stroller into the park that can fold up, so you can stay in the regular queue, and also not have to stress about getting one of the loaner strollers after getting off the train. Bluey’s Wild World If you arrive in the park and you’re confused about accessibility or need additional guidance, we encourage you to chat with nearby Cast Members, especially those at Guest Relations. They’ll be more than happy to answer your questions and help find the best solution possible for you. June is a great month to be a Disney+ subscriber. In addition to all the perks you get just for subscribing, you also get access to some of Disney’s newest movies and content (yep, you can watch Hoppers and Avatar: Fire and Ash right now!). ©Disney Well, Disney+ just shared some details about a NEW show coming this June, and if you love supernatural stories, this one might just scratch that itch (it’s giving animated Stranger Things vibes). The show is called The Doomies, and the trailer for the series just dropped! So what is The Doomies about? Well, it’s about two best friends, Bobby and Romy, who accidentally open a portal to evil (we hate when that happens!). That turns their quiet coastal town into a hotspot for monsters, aka “terrifying creatures of doom.” The teens have to explore the mystery of the portal and face off against their inner demons, as well as, well, real demons, in an “epic comedy that combines thrills, chills, and emotional spills.” Check out the trailer below:  The new animated series premieres on Disney+ on June 26th with 22 half-hour episodes, along with a short-form series featuring four episodes. The show stars Max Mittelman as Bobby, Madison Calderon as Romy, Noel Gibson as Kim, Jon Bailey as Doug, and Zehra Fazal as Jenny. The show is produced by Academy-Award nominated studio Xilan Animation and co-created by Andrès Fernandez, Pozla (aka Rémi Zaarour), and Henry Gifford. This is a fan-favorite spot and is offering a special Coffee Mojo Rub 14oz Prime Rib with stuffed baked potato, garlic cilantro shrimp, asparagus, and a tangerine olive tapenade, all for $95. This sounds delicious and is a perfect meal if you’re looking to splurge on a fancy dining experience for Father’s Day! Four Flamingos Or you could visit Bourbon Steak at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin. This menu features several Father’s Day specials, including: Ahi Tuna Cigars with sriracha aioli, scallions, and yuzu ponzu for $26. Grilled 12 oz Bone-in Beef Filet with roasted fingerling potatoes, wild mushrooms, charred broccoli, red pearl onions, and an au poivre sauce for $89. Elijah Craig Father of Bourbon Butterscotch Pudding with warm donuts, toffee sauce, 24k gold flake, and vanilla ice cream for $18. When we’re in EPCOT craving a drink, the Japan Pavilion is our go-to spot. Where else in Disney World can you get sake paired with sushi or kakigōri all in one place? Kabuki Energy Mocktail So when we saw this new Kabuki Energy drink, we had to try it! Because what’s better than popping boba, right? The Kabuki Energy is $16 for an alcoholic cocktail or $12 for a non-alcoholic mocktail at Kabuki Cafe. We grabbed the mocktail version, but the alcoholic one has alcohol infused tropical boba. The mocktail version has very similar flavors! Kabuki Energy Mocktail This drink was mouth-puckeringly tart with lots of pineapple, strawberry, and cherry flavors. The boba is super-sweet, which massively helps cut the tartness. It’s perfect for summer since it was so cold in the Florida heat. We also loved the vibrant pinkish-red color! Kabuki Energy Mocktail Overall, we found this super refreshing and really fun with the boba! The texture was enjoyable, and we think the little additions like this really help take the drink to the next level. Those who are massive fans of sour candies will want to pick this up, but if sour isn’t your thing, you might want to opt for another drink. There are a few pieces of EPCOT advice that get repeated so often they start to sound like park law. Welcome to EPCOT — Spaceship Earth Rope drop Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. Race to Frozen Ever After. Figure out your Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind strategy before you’ve even had coffee. Map out the festival booths with the grim determination of someone planning a bank heist. And listen, none of that advice is wrong. Those rides are popular because they’re genuinely fun. EPCOT festivals are famous for a reason. We have personally made whole afternoons out of tiny plates and drinks that arrive in cups so small they look eerily similar to the rinse cup at your dentist’s office. But sometimes the obvious advice is not the best advice. Sometimes the smartest thing you can do in EPCOT is ignore the horde, walk calmly in the other direction, and start your day with a boat ride through a greenhouse like the sophisticated vacation genius you were born to be. Start With Living with the Land Yes. We said it. Not Remy. Not Frozen. Not a mad dash across the park while your ankles start plotting a mutiny. Living with the Land. Living with the Land There is something deeply correct about starting EPCOT with this slow-moving classic. It is indoors. It is calm. It is gently educational without making you feel like you accidentally enrolled in summer school. And somehow, no matter how many times you ride it, the greenhouse portion still feels like EPCOT is showing you its best-kept diary. You get the farmhouse. You get the desert scene. You get fish farming. You get Mickey-shaped produce if the agricultural stars align. You get a few peaceful minutes where nobody is elbowing you for a festival trash-can table. Living with the Land Is it the most thrilling ride in EPCOT? No. Is it a perfect first move? Absolutely. Living with the Land sets the tone for the day. It reminds you that EPCOT is not just about chasing the newest thing. Sometimes it is about gliding past cucumbers suspended in the air and thinking, “This is cinema.” And if the wait is short, ride it again. Nobody is stopping you. This is your vacation. Become a Living with the Land local. We Bet You Didn’t Know This Living With the Land Disney World Fact! Skip the Festival Stampede and Go to Tutto Gusto EPCOT festivals are wonderful. They are also occasionally a full-contact sport with snacks. You know the drill. You find a booth. You wait in the sun. You order something delicious and very small. You receive it on a little paper tray. Then you enter the ancient EPCOT ritual of scanning the walkway for a trash can you can use as a dining table. We respect the tradition. We also believe there is another way. Go to Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar in the Italy Pavilion. Instead of standing outside with sweat running down your back while you try to balance a fork, a drink, and your dignity, you can sit at an actual table. In an actual chair. In actual air conditioning. This is not defeat. This is growth. Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar Tutto Gusto has wine flights, small plates, meats, cheeses, pasta, panini, and desserts. It feels tucked away enough that it can still be overlooked by guests who are laser-focused on festival booths, but that is part of the charm. Let them chase the kiosk line. You will be inside, cool and seated, pretending you casually live this way. A WHOLE meal at Tutto Italia This is especially useful on those EPCOT days when the sun has hatched a revenge plot against everyone in World Showcase. A festival snack is fun. A shaded wine cellar with snacks and chairs? That is strategy sipping an espresso martini. REVIEW: Go Inside the Hidden Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar In EPCOT With Us! Give The American Adventure Pavilion Its Moment A lot of EPCOT guests treat The American Adventure Pavilion like a hallway between Italy and Japan. That is a mistake. American Adventure Pavilion in EPCOT Yes, World Showcase is full of countries that may feel more “vacation-y” at first glance. There are castles and gardens and tequila caves and pastry cases that could ruin your entire budget in the best way. But skipping the American Adventure Pavilion means missing one of the most underrated stops in the park. First, get something you can dip in beer cheese. This is not a suggestion. This is spiritual guidance. Regal Eagle Smokehouse has Brewmaster’s Fries topped with beer cheese sauce, and Block & Hans has pretzel nuggets with house-made beer-cheese sauce. Either way, you are making a sensible patriotic decision involving carbs and cheese. Sam Eagle would probably approve, though he would insist the napkins be folded with dignity. A closer look! Then go inside and see Voices of Liberty. We need to be clear. Voices of Liberty is not background noise. It is not something you wander past while deciding whether you need another snack. This is one of those EPCOT experiences that can stop you in your tracks if you give it half a chance. Voices of Liberty The harmonies. The rotunda acoustics. The sheer talent of it all. You walk in thinking, “Sure, we’ll cool off for a minute,” and then suddenly you are standing there with goosebumps, wondering why you almost skipped this for a longer line somewhere else. EPCOT is at its best when it surprises you. This is one of those surprises. Yes, You Can Eat Around EPCOT for Under $30 — If You Know What to Order Stop Fighting the Les Halles Line We love Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie. We are not here to pretend those pastries, baguette sandwiches, and desserts are not worth your attention. The people in that line are not wrong. They may, however, be very committed. That line can get intense. It snakes, it stalls, it makes you question whether a croissant can sense fear. And while Les Halles is delicious, it is not the only sweet stop in World Showcase worth your time. Quite the line! Go to Karamell-Küche in Germany instead, and use Mobile Order. That’s right. You can order caramel treats from your phone, stroll over like the caramel royalty you are, and pick up your goodies without doing the snack-line shuffle. Mobile Order This is one of those small EPCOT hacks that feels almost too easy. You are not just saving time. You are also saving your patience for more important things, like deciding whether you need one treat or four. The answer is four. Maybe more… Get something to eat immediately. Get something to snack on while you are waiting for your resort bus. Get something for the resort bus. Get something for later in the room when you are in pajamas, watching resort TV, and pretending you are not going to wake up with caramel popcorn crumbs in the bed. Go grab your treats! And yes, get something for breakfast the next morning. You are on vacation. Sometimes caramel is a breakfast food. We do not make the rules. Actually, in this case, we sort of do. We’ve Eaten at Every EPCOT Restaurant. These Are the BEST. Why This Works The reason this plan works is simple. It stops treating EPCOT like a checklist and starts treating it like a park you can actually enjoy. Of course, you can still ride Remy, Frozen, and Guardians. Of course, you can still eat around the festival. We are not suggesting you abandon the big-ticket EPCOT experiences and spend the entire day whispering to greenhouse tomatoes. Though honestly, there are worse ways to spend a Tuesday. The point is that your first move can shape your whole day. If you start your morning sprinting toward the same rides as everyone else, you are immediately in competition mode. If you start by drifting through Living with the Land, you give yourself permission to slow down. If you choose Tutto Gusto over the hottest festival booth at noon, you are not missing out. You are preserving your will to live. If you stop for Voices of Liberty, you are letting EPCOT be more than food and wait times. Tutto Gusto And if you Mobile Order caramel from Germany, you are simply operating at a higher snack frequency. Things are ALWAYS changing in Disney World! Lately, it feels like the parks are entirely new places thanks to updates like Villains Land, Piston Peak, Monsters Inc. Land, and more. The new EPCOT snack stand will continue to sell that famous poutine, which we have really grown to adore over the years. JUST ANNOUNCED: A TON of NEW Disney Snacks Are Coming Soon Changes Hit Disneyland Park Hopping Finally, Disneyland had some big changes this week that we have literally been waiting YEARS for. After many years, Disneyland’s big park-hopping rule has finally ended. In Disneyland, Park Hopping lets you jump back and forth between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, but to do this, you need a Park Hopper ticket or a Magic Key pass, their version of Annual Passes. Previously, you couldn’t park hop before 11 AM, but that’s finally over! Disneyland entrance scanners While the rule has ended, you will still need to make a park reservation! You’ll need to choose your park pass reservation for the first park that you are starting in and scanning into first. Even if you change your mind the moment you scan in, you can exit that park and head to the next one. California Adventure entrance This is such a great change because it gives us so much more flexibility in our park day. Plus, the parks are so close it means we can have breakfast in one of them and head back over to the other ASAP. Disneyland’s Park Hopping Rules Now It was a BUSY week in the Disney Company, and we are hungry just thinking about all of those new snacks. Several Disney World restaurants are going through some major changes in 2026. Lobster Thermidor Burger From menu overhauls to refurbishments of their physical spaces, these dining locations are going to look pretty different by the end of the year. That’s why we’re bringing you the whole list — so you can be prepared when making food decisions for your Disney World trip! Garden View Lounge Starting out the list, we have some happy news! Garden View Lounge at the Grand Floridian reopened earlier in 2026 after a six-year closure due to the pandemic. Prior to its reopening, the space was refurbished to match the new look of the Grand Flo’s lobby. Tea Party Tart The reopened tea experience here is $79 per adult and $49 for children, though there are some add-on upgrades available. It’s now themed to Alice in Wonderland with character-inspired beverages and bites. Reservations can be challenging to snag since it’s a rather small space, so make sure you’re ON it if you want to dine here for your trip! See Our Review of the New Tea Experience Here! Crew’s Cup Lounge A big year for lounges in Disney World! Crew’s Cup Lounge is the lounge associated with Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club Resort. It closed in February 2026 to get a refurbishment and reopened in mid-May. You can dine here daily from 4 PM to 11 PM. Crew’s Cup Lounge The interior of the lounge got a refresh, but not much changed with the style of the decor — it’s still as cozy as we remember. And as for the menu, all of our favorites remain available! You can snag the delicious Yachtsman Signature Bread Service, as well as Prime Rib Sliders (we LOVE), a few salads, Lobster Bisque, and more. See Our Review of Crew’s Cup Lounge Here! Yachtsman Steakhouse Currently, through August 2026, Yachtsman Steakhouse is closed. This is the main restaurant attached to the Crew’s Cup Lounge, and it’s a signature dining location with American, steakhouse-inspired dining. During its closure, the restaurant will be refurbished. Yachtsman Steakhouse A reopening date hasn’t yet been revealed, but if you’d like to go after it reopens, we highly recommend reservations. Also, keep in mind that this dining location has a dress code. See Our Latest Review of Yachtsman Steakhouse Here! Grand Floridian Cafe Grand Floridian Cafe is the premier brunch spot at (you guessed it!) Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort is closing for a refurbishment from mid-July through October 2026. During that time, brunch will continue to be offered, but you’ll need to go to Citricos upstairs for the menu. Mickey waffle with chicken? Yes, please! Dinner service will not be offered during the closure. After most of the Grand Floridian has been updated in the past few years, we’re not surprised to see another closure on the schedule. 1900 Park Fare got redecorated while it was closed during the pandemic, as well as Citricos and Garden View Lounge. It’s likely that Disney will also give this restaurant decor updates to fit with the new Grand Floridian theming. See a Recent Review of Grand Floridian Cafe Here! Wailulu Bar & Grill This spot may have just opened at the Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort in 2024, but it’s already getting some updates. Wailulu Bar & Grill is under construction through late June, as some work is done on the roofing of the restaurant. During the construction, the restaurant has remained open. Wailulu Construction You may see and hear construction outside while this project is ongoing. The bar will only offer walk-up service every day until 5 PM during this construction period, and seating will not be available. However, seating will resume from 5 PM through close. See Some of Our Thoughts on Wailulu Bar & Grill Here! Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace Outside of Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto at the main part of the Polynesian Village Resort is Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace. This outdoor patio restaurant offers water views and fun drinks, but it’s temporarily closed through June at least. There’s no reopening date listed on the website at this time. Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace If you want a drink during the closure, you can head inside to Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto or go indoors and upstairs to the Tambu Lounge. The pool bars also remain open at this hotel. Learn More About This Sudden Closure Here! Diamond Horseshoe Diamond Horseshoe in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom is typically a table service spot where you can order a Thanksgiving-inspired feast. However, for the summer months, this restaurant has closed to be transformed for Cool KIDS’ SUMMER. Bullseye! Until September 8th, this spot is home to Jessie’s Roundup, where you can see Jessie, Woody, Bullseye, and friends as they dance, perform, and interact with fans. It’s a limited-time offering, so dining service is expected to resume in fall 2026. Learn More About Jessie’s Roundup Here! ‘Ohana One of Disney World’s most popular spots (and hardest-to-score reservations) is ‘Ohana at the Polynesian Village Resort. The Polynesian is currently undergoing extensive exterior maintenance, and during that time, views from the windows at ‘Ohana may be obstructed. The ‘Ohana dinner skillet! This is important to note as many folks plan to dine at this restaurant during fireworks, hoping to get a glimpse of Happily Ever After and Cinderella Castle. If that’s your goal, you might want to wait until construction is complete. Currently, there’s no set end date on the Disney World website. Does This Restaurant Live Up to the Hype? Sprinkles Over at Disney Springs, the cupcake store, Sprinkles, closed earlier this year. The dining spot was known for its variety of flavorful cupcakes and its cupcake ATM. It was a nationwide chain, and all locations shut down. We’ll miss you! The old location briefly played host to a Black Tap CrazyShakes pop-up from March 2nd through June 1st. Now, the restaurant is still vacant as we await its next occupant. Learn More About the Closure Here! Harambe Market And finally, we’re heading to Animal Kingdom. When DinoLand U.S.A. shut down earlier this year, Restaurantosaurus closed with it. That spot was the park’s quintessential “burgers and chicken tenders” restaurant, and Disney decided to move many of the menu items over to Harambe Market in Africa.
