  2. You know how some Disney kitchen items are cute, but not exactly practical? The kind of thing you buy with the best intentions, and then it sits on a shelf looking adorable while your actual salt lives in a plastic tub from 2019? Well, these are different. Just some of the available Disney kitchen tools. BoxLunch has a whole lineup of Disney Village Spice Jar Sets, and they are basically tiny themed neighborhoods for your paprika, garlic powder, cinnamon, and whatever spice you bought for one recipe in 2021 and still refuse to throw away because “it might come up again.” These sets are decorative, functional, collectible, and dangerously giftable. If Disney ever decides to build a spice-based land in EPCOT, we are already packed. DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. Disney Mickey and Friends Village Spice Jar Set This is the classic choice. The sensible choice. The “I want my kitchen to feel Disney without making my countertops look like a gift shop exploded” choice. The Mickey and Friends set is perfect if you like your Disney decor cheerful, colorful, and broad enough that it works year-round. This is not hyper-specific holiday decor. This is not a “put it away after October” situation. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and the gang are kitchen citizens. They pay property taxes in nostalgia. ©BoxLunch This set would look especially cute on an open shelf, near a coffee station, or beside your stove if you’re the kind of person who actually transfers spices into matching jars instead of living lawlessly with mismatched grocery store containers. No judgment. Some of us are merely surviving between Disney trips and reheating leftovers. It’s also the safest gift pick of the bunch. If you know someone who loves Disney but you’re not sure which exact corner of the fandom they occupy, Mickey and Friends is the main entrance. Everybody knows where they are. Nobody needs a map. view ON BOXLUNCH Disney Princesses Belle, Tiana, Rapunzel & Snow White Village Spice Jar Set Now THIS is where the tiny village concept starts getting dangerously charming. The Disney Princess set featuring Belle, Tiana, Rapunzel, and Snow White feels like it was designed for someone who wants their kitchen to look cozy, whimsical, and just a little bit enchanted. And honestly, if Tiana is involved in your spice organization, the food already feels more trustworthy. ©BoxLunch This set has a softer storybook feel, which makes sense given the lineup. Belle brings the cottage/library energy. Rapunzel brings tower-adjacent sunshine. Snow White brings woodland baking instincts. Tiana brings actual culinary authority, because if anyone in this village knows what to do with cayenne, it is her. This would be a great pick for a baker, a Disney Princess collector, or someone whose kitchen vibe is less “industrial stainless steel” and more “I might make muffins while woodland creatures judge my technique from the windowsill.” view ON BOXLUNCH Disney Winnie the Pooh Village Spice Jar Set The Winnie the Pooh set is for the cozy crowd. The cardigan people. The tea people. The “I own honey in multiple formats” people. Pooh decor has a way of making everything feel calmer, even if your kitchen currently looks like a snack tornado rolled through it. There’s just something about Hundred Acre Wood styling that says, “Yes, dinner is late, but perhaps we should have a little something first.” ©BoxLunch This set is especially good if your home decor leans warm, cottagey, or soft. It would be adorable near a tea shelf, a breakfast nook, a baking station, or anywhere you want your kitchen to feel like it has at least one emotional support bear. This is also a sneaky-good gift for Disney fans who don’t love loud Disney decor. Pooh merchandise can be sweet without looking like it belongs in a nursery. It whispers. It wears a scarf. It might even come with spice. view ON BOXLUNCH Disney Lilo & Stitch Village Spice Jar Set The Lilo & Stitch Village Spice Jar Set is the pick for anyone who likes their Disney decor bright, tropical, and just a little crazy around the edges. Which is exactly what a spice collection needs. Garlic powder should not be living a dull life. This set feels especially fun for summer kitchens, beachy homes, Stitch collectors, or anyone who has ever looked at their counter and thought, “This needs more alien energy.” ©BoxLunch Stitch merchandise can sometimes lean very loud, but that’s part of the appeal. He is not here to blend into beige cabinetry and behave. He is here to bring big vacation brain to your everyday kitchen, which is helpful when you are not currently in Hawaii, not currently at Disney World, and not currently holding a Dole Whip. If you know a Stitch fan, this is the one that may disappear fast. Stitch people do not casually collect Stitch. They acquire him with purpose. view ON BOXLUNCH Disney The Nightmare Before Christmas Village Spice Jar Set This is the one for people who believe spooky season is not a season; it’s a lifestyle. The Nightmare Before Christmas set is probably the most dramatic of the bunch, and that is meant as praise. If your kitchen already has black accents, Halloween mugs, Jack Skellington salt shakers, or a general “this house owns at least one skeleton hand serving spoon” energy, this set fits right in. ©BoxLunch The fun thing about Nightmare Before Christmas decor is that it lives comfortably in multiple lanes. Halloween? Obviously. Christmas? Also yes. Random Tuesday in February when you’re making tacos and want the chili powder to look theatrical? Absolutely. This would also be a smart pick for someone who wants Disney decor that doesn’t feel too sweet. Not everyone wants pastel castles in the kitchen. Some people want their cinnamon stored in a little building that looks like it may be haunted by a baritone ghost. Balance is important. view ON BOXLUNCH One Tiny Warning These are the kind of items that tend to trigger “I’ll just get one” thinking. That is dangerous. Because once you have one little Disney village, it becomes very easy to justify another. Mickey can live near the stove. Pooh can take the tea corner. Stitch can guard the snacks. Jack Skellington can oversee the baking supplies with unsettling authority. Suddenly, your kitchen has districts. Suddenly, your oregano has neighbors. Suddenly, you are the mayor of Spice Town. There are worse fates. ©BoxLunch We’re always on the hunt for the latest and greatest Disney souvenirs and essentials, so don’t forget to stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for more! 3. Traveling is so much fun; however, it can also be stressful and sometimes uncomfortable. That’s why we are always on the lookout for the best items that can make traveling better. Port Orleans Riverside Resort Hotel Room And we recently tried out two items meant to make staying in a hotel a more comfortable and relaxing experience. So let’s get into these items and see if there’s something you should grab for your next vacation! DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. Should you pack these items for your next vacation? Let’s find out! First, check out this Travel Humidifier. HOMDIS Mini Humidifier This travel humidifier is amazing and perfect for anyone who uses a humidifier at home but can’t bring the whole thing with them when they travel. It is very small and easily packable, and to use it, all you have to do is attach a water bottle to it. We loved how easy it was to assemble, that it was wireless, and that it had so many settings, so you could choose what works best for you. How it attaches The only downside we found was that it didn’t stay on throughout the night unplugged, so if you wanted it to work all night, you would most likely need to plug it into the nightstand. Overall, we loved this product, and we felt it was worth the money. It’s definitely not a must-have for everyone, but if you prefer sleeping with a humidifier, this is a great travel option! VIEW ON AMAZON Next, check out this Pillow Speaker Pillow Speaker This Pillow Speaker is amazing for anyone traveling with a group. If you are used to falling asleep with background noise but don’t want to disturb the other people in your room, this might be a must-have travel essential for you. This speaker easily connects to your phone, and then you just slide it under your pillow and can listen to whatever you want without disturbing anyone. Pillow Speaker While this is also not going to be a must-have for everyone, if you are someone who has trouble sleeping or sharing a room with lots of people, this is a great way to bring an extra level of comfort to your traveling experience. We really enjoyed using this device and would definitely recommend it! VIEW ON AMAZON Will you be grabbing either of these products for your next trip? 4. Listen, we love pins just as much as the next person (seriously, you should see how many we have in EACH of our homes), but it seems like Disney is cracking down on Disney fans waiting HOURS for the newest pin drop in the form of new Disney Springs rules. Disney pins New pins are often released on Tuesdays, and while we love seeing them online, sometimes people prefer to go into Disney Springs to grab them in person. We totally get that, but now, Disney Springs has announced that if you’re waiting for pins to drop or are planning to attend any other merchandise events, you’ll have to change your parking plan. Disney has just announced that the Disney Springs parking garages, as well as the rideshare loops, will not open to guests until 7 AM on special event merchandise days. This is an attempt to curb people from parking in the garages overnight, and yes, that will include on Tuesdays for new pin drops. runDisney merchandise This also means that, even if you’re just planning to get to Disney Springs early for another reason on Tuesdays, or on a day that also happens to be a large merchandise drop, you won’t be able to enter until 7 AM. If you arrive in your vehicle or in a rideshare before 7 AM, you will be asked to leave and come back at 7 AM. Watermelon Lot Signage Yes, this will also include parking at the Disney Springs Watermelon, Strawberry, and Mango Parking Lots, in addition to the Orange, Lime, and Grapefruit Garages. @disneysprings on Instagram This is effective immediately, so we’re assuming to see it first in place this upcoming Tuesday, June 2nd. We’ll be sure to keep our eyes peeled for all the latest news around this change and to see if it really does help with crowds on pin drop Tuesdays, as well as other big merchandise drop days. 5. There is SO much changing in Disney World these days. Across the theme parks, there are tons of new things like Bluey’s Wild World, Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Revue, and Goofycore, which are ready for summer. Alien Swirling Saucers In Hollywood Studios, the Muppets have returned, and the Walt Disney Studios is partially open! It seems like Disney is leaving no stone unturned, because now a new permit has been filed for Hollywood Studios in Toy Story Land. Find out what’s changing right here! Changes are coming to Alien Swirling Saucers! The popular spinning ride in Toy Story Land is beloved by families because of the low height requirement and the fun renditions of classic songs. In a Notice of Commencement, Disney filed a new permit with the State of Florida for updates to the attraction. Alien Swirling Saucers The permit was filed by Walt Disney Imagineering to “install set elements.” This means new set elements are coming to the ride, which will be noticeable changes for riders! The work will be done by Icarus Exhibits, Inc., which is a contracting company that specializes in “custom theming for fully immersive elements, one-of-a-kind projects, and the never-before-done,” according to their website. This company has worked with Disney several times on things like TRON: Lightcycle Run at Magic Kingdom, set pieces in Toy Story Land, and even past elements of Galaxy’s Edge. The CLAWWWW Disney hasn’t released details on what the changes will include, but it could be many things! We’re eager to see if it will include changes inspired by the upcoming film Toy Story 5. This ride is seriously adorable, but we wouldn’t be upset if they removed the upbeat version of “When She Loved Me.” Despite the nice beat, the song tends to bum us out. (Okay, maybe it’s just this writer). Hi, Buzz! The permit expires on May 28th, 2027, if the work isn’t completed before that day. We can’t wait to see what the changes are once they finally take place. This is just one of many of the ongoing projects happening around Walt Disney World that we’re keeping an eye on. 6. Father’s Day is coming up fast, and if you’re still searching for something that actually feels thoughtful, Amazon has become one of the best places to find officially licensed Disney gifts that go way beyond the generic card-and-candy routine. ©Amazon Whether your dad is a golfer, a park fanatic, or just someone who proudly reps a Mickey hat, there’s a lot worth knowing about right now. Here are five picks worth grabbing before they sell out. DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. Amazon’s got a brand-new “secret” shop for Father’s Day finds from Disney, and you can also check it out by checking the link below. To see some of our favorite deals, read ahead! check out everything in the Disney father’s day shop HERE He’s Been Hauling His Clubs in a Bag That Deserves to Retire ©Amazon If your dad golfs even occasionally, you already know how much he cares about his gear. A bag that’s falling apart or missing key features is basically the sporting equivalent of driving on a spare tire. The Team Effort Bucket III Cooler Cart Golf Bag in the Disney Studios colorway fixes all of that in one swing. It’s packed with genuinely useful features, including a built-in thermal-lined cooler pocket with an insulated drainage port, a quick-access pocket with magnetic closure, 14-way top organization, and velour-lined valuables pockets that are actually waterproof. This is officially licensed Disney gear built in collaboration with industry pros, and it shows. It’s the kind of bag that makes showing up to the first tee feel like an event. Take a closer look before tee time. view ON AMAZON The Golf Balls That Make Every Round a Conversation Starter ©Amazon Standard golf balls are forgettable. These are not. The Volvik Toy Story Vimat Golf Balls come in a six-pack featuring six different character designs, including Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Alien, Forky, and Lotso, each in a bright, high-visibility color that makes tracking shots easier while also making the whole round way more fun. Beyond the novelty factor, these actually perform. The Vimat construction is engineered for soft feel, straight flight, and reliable distance, so they’re not just decorative. For a dad who loves golf and grew up with Toy Story, this is the rare gift that hits both marks without trying too hard. Snag a pack before Father’s Day weekend. view ON AMAZON The Hat That Goes With Literally Everything ©Amazon A good hat is one of those gifts that sounds underwhelming until the person actually wears it everywhere. The Disney Mickey Mouse Character Art Unstructured Baseball Cap is a clean, low-profile design with embroidered black and white Mickey art that works as well at a theme park as it does running weekend errands. It’s made from soft cotton, officially licensed, and comes with an adjustable buckle strap for a personalized fit. The unstructured build keeps it from feeling stiff or costume-y. It’s just a really solid, everyday hat with the right amount of Disney personality. view ON AMAZON This T-Shirt Will Make Every Disney Dad Laugh Out Loud ©Amazon Some Father’s Day gifts are sentimental. This one is just fun, and sometimes that’s exactly right. The Disney Mickey and Friends Goofiest Dad Father’s Day T-Shirt leans fully into nostalgia with a retro 1990s-style graphic featuring Goofy and his son Max in a design that genuinely looks like it came straight off a mid-90s park souvenir shelf. The bold typography, distressed framing, and that tilted purple triangle with lime green fill? It’s all there. It’s the kind of shirt that gets an immediate reaction, and it’s made well enough to actually wear beyond the holiday. For the Disney dad who appreciates when something is both funny and accurate, this one delivers. It’s worth checking out before Father’s Day. view ON AMAZON The Water Bottle He’ll Actually Use at the Parks ©Amazon Hydration at Disney World is serious business, especially in the Florida heat. A lot of bottles look fine but fail in practice, either leaking in a bag, not fitting in a cup holder, or losing temperature in under an hour. The JoyJolt Disney MonoMouse Stainless Steel Water Bottle with Flip Straw Lid handles all of that. The vacuum insulation keeps drinks cold for hours, the flip straw lid makes drinking easy on the go, and the slim design fits most car cup holders and park bags without a fight. The Mickey art-deco print wrapping the outside is genuinely striking, too. At 22 oz, it’s a practical size that works whether he’s at Magic Kingdom or just commuting to the office. Grab one for the Disney dad in your life. view ON AMAZON If you haven’t spotted your favorite just yet, that’s ok! 9. One of Disneyland’s oldest attractions, which it predates the park itself, is seemingly set to close for refurbishment in a few weeks. King Arthur Carrousel According to Disneyland’s operational calendar, King Arthur Carrousel — which sits at the center of the park’s Fantasyland just behind Sleeping Beauty Castle — is set to close beginning July 6th, with a final day of operations scheduled for July 5th, the cap of the busy Fourth of July Weekend. While Disney hasn’t confirmed the length or reasoning behind the closure as of yet, it is worth remembering that the ride itself is actually over 100 years old. The ride was originally designed by William Dentzel and was first operated at Sunnyside Beach Park in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, in 1922. The attraction was purchased by Disney in 1954 and has been operating at Disneyland since the park opened the following year. Disneyland’s Fantasyland Today, the ride features 68 “ornately carved, hand-painted horses” and a fanciful chariot. During the ride, guests listen to recordings of classic Disney songs in fairground organ arrangements, and circle nine hand-painted vignettes telling the story of Sleeping Beauty on the inner rounding board above the horses. The entrance Of course, carrousel attractions have been baked into the mythos of Disney theme parks from before Disneyland was designed, as the oft-repeated (and likely somewhat apocryphal) story goes that Walt Disney was inspired to build his own theme park for children and adults alike while sitting on a bench watching his daughter ride a carousel in Griffith Park. While there surely is some truth to the story as far as inspirations for Disneyland go, plans for the park had been coming together in Walt’s mind for years, and were inspired by several different interests, including miniatures, model railroads, and other pursuits. King Arthur Carrousel Disneyland’s historic King Arthur Carrousel is closing on July 6th. Stay tuned to DFB for further updates on the attraction’s reopening timeline as they’re announced. 12. Disney Springs is home to two major things: shopping and dining! There are so many eats you can choose from, and you might not have time to try them all — but we’re here to help! Disney Springs Sign From the popular snacks to the underrated snacks, there are so many to choose from, but should you try this one? We’re here to see if the Made-To-Order Artisan S’more from The Ganachery is worth enough hype for you to get on your next trip! The Ganachery is a gourmet chocolate shop located in The Landing in Disney Springs and is home to several popular treats, including the Made-To-Order Artisan S’mores. This treat isn’t like your basic s’more. Between two cookie graham crackers, you’ll find a melty marshmallow and a chocolate ganache, and you can grab it for $9. Made-To-Order Artisan S’more Just like the typical s’more, this thing can get MESSY, so be sure to take some napkins with you! Because these s’mores are made to order, they’ll be hot and fresh, and the marshmallow will melt the ganache instantly. The Vanilla Bean Marshmallow Square is burnt with a blowtorch, and you can watch it being done right through the window! Because of this, the middle can end up a little raw, and you can get that burnt taste, but it will still mix with the sweetness of the entire treat. The graham cracker isn’t your typical graham cracker you’ll find at the store. We found it to be more of a cakey-cookie texture rather than a crunchy cracker. The top of the cracker is dusted with powdered sugar in the shape of a Mickey, and then is topped with even MORE sugar. We actually thought that it was the sweetest-tasting thing in the whole s’more! Made-To-Order Artisan S’more And now for the star of the show: the ganache. We actually thought that there wasn’t enough chocolate to the point where we barely tasted it! The graham crackers are a really overpowering factor because of how big and cakey they are. Made-To-Order Artisan S’more The good thing is that this snack is definitely shareable because of its size! It’s definitely a fun treat to try if you’re in the area, but really, it’s just an elevated s’more, so it’s not a must-have for us, and there are a lot of other options you can try at Disney Springs! 13. Choosing where to eat in Disney World sounds simple until suddenly you’re debating whether your family needs a character buffet, a fireworks-view dinner, a quick-service lunch that won’t bankrupt the snack budget, or a lounge where you can sit down and become a person again. Mickey Waffles! Disney World has hundreds of restaurants, snack stands, bars, lounges, food courts, carts, kiosks, bakeries, walk-up windows, and “wait, does this count as dinner?” situations. And some of them are excellent. Some are fine. Some are coasting entirely on location, nostalgia, or the fact that you forgot to eat lunch and are in desperate need of air conditioning. That’s why we made a FREE printable list of the best restaurants in Disney World, according to the experts at Disney Food Blog. And by experts, we mean the people who are constantly eating, reviewing, comparing, re-ranking, reconsidering, and quietly judging theme park mac and cheese on your behalf. Disney Dining Is a Whole Sport Dining in Disney World is not just “Where should we eat?” It’s “Where should we eat that is near where we’ll actually be when everyone gets hungry?” It’s “Which restaurants need reservations?” It’s “Which meals are worth the splurge?” It’s “Where can we go when our toddler refuses anything that is not in nugget form?” It’s “Which lounge has the best food disguised as snacks?” It’s “Is this iconic meal actually good, or are we paying $70 for vibes and a photo?” Cinderella White Chocolate Slipper That is a lot to sort through while also figuring out park tickets, hotel choices, Lightning Lanes, transportation, stroller rentals, weather, shoes, and whether your group can survive one more conversation about matching shirts. Our free printable guide is designed to make the restaurant part easier. What’s Inside the Free Guide This printable list gives you a fast, expert-backed look at some of the best dining options across Disney World, without forcing you to read 127 reviews before you make one dinner decision. The guide highlights restaurants across the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs, so you can see which spots are actually worth putting on your radar. Because the “best” Disney World restaurant is not always the fanciest one, or the most expensive one. It’s not always the one everyone on TikTok is currently filming with aggressive enthusiasm. Full spread at Akershus Sometimes the best restaurant for your trip is the one with great food, easy logistics, solid portions, and enough atmosphere to make dinner feel like part of the vacation instead of a mandatory refueling stop. It Helps You Plan by Park This is one of the big reasons the guide is so helpful. If you’re spending the day in Magic Kingdom, you probably don’t want to build your whole afternoon around a restaurant in Disney Springs unless you enjoy turning lunch into a transportation novella. Waffle from Sleepy Hollow! If you’re doing an EPCOT festival day, you may not need a giant sit-down meal at all. You may want snacks, small plates, and a strategic place to sit when your feet begin filing grievances. If you’re at Animal Kingdom, your best dining plan may look completely different than a Hollywood Studios day, where your options can swing from character meals to barbecue to galactic blue milk decisions. Blue Milk The guide helps you look at the restaurants in context, which is how Disney dining should be planned. A great restaurant in the wrong location at the wrong time can still become a vacation headache, twirling a napkin in the air like it’s summoning a character parade and a dining logistics nightmare. It Separates the Icons From the Actual Winners Some Disney restaurants are famous because they’re great, or because they’re inside a castle, or because they’ve been around forever, and we have all collectively decided to keep pretending the food is the main event. Hurricane season is the bset time to book indoor table service meals And listen, we respect an iconic meal. Cinderella’s Royal Table is not just dinner. It’s dinner inside Cinderella Castle, and that’s the kind of sentence that makes first-timers start reaching for their credit cards before they’ve even seen the menu. But DFB is here to help you understand what you’re actually booking. Is it worth it for the experience? Maybe! Is the food the reason to go? Maybe not. Is there another restaurant that might fit your family better? Very possibly. Cinderella’s Royal Table That’s the value of an expert list. We’re not just pointing at the shiny thing. We’re telling you whether the shiny thing is worth your time, your money, and your precious Advance Dining Reservation slot. It Helps You Find the Underrated Spots Some of the best Disney World restaurants are not the ones people yell about the loudest. Mickey waffle with chicken? Yes, please! There are resort restaurants that quietly deliver excellent meals without requiring you to refresh the Disney app like you’re trying to buy concert tickets. There are lounges with food good enough to count as dinner. There are casual spots that work beautifully for a midday break. There are restaurants that don’t have castle views or character hugs but do have the radical audacity to serve a genuinely good meal. Sanaa Bread Service at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Those are the places we love calling out. Because yes, everyone knows about the big names. But Disney World dining gets a lot more interesting when you start finding the places that don’t need a parade float to announce themselves. It Can Save You From an Expensive Mistake A Disney meal can be magical. It can also be expensive, crowded, loud, difficult to book, awkwardly timed, or just not right for your group. That doesn’t mean the restaurant is bad. It means it may not fit the vacation you’re trying to have. One of the dining rooms A family with little kids may love a character buffet. A couple on an adults-only trip may want a lounge, a signature restaurant, or a quiet resort dinner. First-timers may want one big “classic Disney” meal. Repeat visitors may care more about food quality, atmosphere, and getting away from the park crowds for an hour. This was delicious! The printable guide helps you narrow things down before you commit. Because there is nothing quite like realizing halfway through an expensive dinner that your group would have been happier with chicken nuggets, a Dole Whip, and a bench. Built by People Who Eat Disney Food Constantly At Disney Food Blog, we take Disney dining seriously. Not in a stiff white-tablecloth way. More in a “we will absolutely compare two theme park grilled cheeses with the intensity of a courtroom deposition” way. We are in the parks. We’re at the resorts. We’re trying the new snacks, checking menus, reviewing restaurants, watching price changes, noting portion sizes, and keeping track of which spots are suddenly worth your attention. Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup That’s why this free guide is useful. It’s not a generic list built from old memories and vibes. It’s a planning tool from people who are paying attention to what’s changing in Disney World dining right now. And Disney dining changes constantly. Menus shift. Restaurants open. Restaurants close. A dish you loved disappears. A lounge suddenly becomes the sleeper hit of the year. A dessert arrives wearing glitter and demands a photo shoot. We keep up with the seasonal menu switcharoo so you can make better choices before your trip. How to Get the FREE Printable Want the full list? Your Dining Plan Should Match Your Vacation The best Disney World restaurant is not one single place. 14. Efteling, one of Europe’s most popular theme parks, just confirmed details of a NEW major attraction. ©Efteling Early this year, the park confirmed major changes were coming to the Raveleijn area of the park, which they said would be “completely transformed with a new storyline, decor and impressive show effects,” including a new open-air “rotating flying experience” attraction. Now, the park has released new details on this attraction, Ravenring. Ravenring will be a horizontally rotating wheel in which 36 visitors per ride will take their seats in one of the 18 winged vehicles, inspired by the ravens of Raveleijn. The ride’s storyline revolves around recruiting “new heroes” to continue protecting the city of Raveleijn in the future by taking part in a “flying ritual reserved only for true heroes.” After their flight, guests will discover which of the five magical elements suits them best: blue for water, red for fire, green for wood, brown for earth, and purple for metal. Further details on the attraction include: Riders must be 4-years-old and at least meter (about 3.5 feet) tall. Guests can control how steeply their vehicle flies using a lever in their ride vehicle. Each flight lasts approximately 90 seconds. The ride reaches a maximum height of five meters – about 16.5 feet – and tops out at a top speed of around 40 kilometers – about 25 miles – per hour. Ravenring will be accessible for guests with disabilities, although a transfer is required. The attraction is set to open before the end of 2026. ©Efteling Ravenring will join another new attraction, Hooghmoed, which opened at the park on May 1st. The child-friendly drop tower attraction consists of three towers, each approximately 40 feet tall, and is themed as a companion piece to its neighbor, the gold-mine-themed dive coaster Baron 1898. According to the park, “the tall chimney of the gold smeltery must be cleaned regularly. To reach the chimney, the young chimney sweeps (the attraction’s visitors) take the lift up. Spinning at a height of 9.5 metres, the view is spectacular. But then the Witte Wieven (the Wailing Women) appear and sabotage the ride. A steel cable snaps and the lift plunges several metres down into mist and smoke
” Each of the ride’s towers has a capacity of 10 people, allowing 30 guests per ride, and feature their own ride sequence of approximately 1.5 minutes. Riders must be approximately 2.95 feet tall, and children must be accompanied by an adult approximately 4.3 feet tall. ©Efteling Founded in 1952, Efteling, located in the Netherlands, has become a beloved institution for generations of guests. Theme park aficionados travel from across the continent — and the WORLD — to take in the park’s lush and manicured grounds, as well as dozens of attractions themed to the ancient myths, legends, fairy tales, fables, and folklore of Europe. These new additions are coming at a strong time for Efteling, as the park has consistently been one of Europe’s most popular in recent years, often in the continent’s top 3 most visited parks annually, along with Europa Park in Germany, and even Disneyland Paris. The park Efteling, the popular theme park in the Netherlands, is adding two new rides over the course of 2026. Stay tuned to DFB for more on the international theme park scene. 15. What is it about McDonald’s that is just comforting? Of course, there’s a lot of nostalgia for many of us going to McDonald’s, especially when it comes to Happy Meals, which pretty much defined so much of our childhoods. Happy Meal Happy Meals are also still a thing, and new themes are released all the time. Recently we’ve seen Stranger Things ’85 Happy Meals, Super Mario Galaxy movie Happy Meals, and K-Pop Demon Hunters-themed Happy Meals. Well, get ready, because an all-NEW Happy Meal is coming soon, and it’s going to be VERY popular because Squishmallows are back! That’s right, to celebrate the FIFA World Cup this summer, McDonald’s is releasing a special Happy Meal with Squishmallows on June 9th. Now, the Squishmallows Happy Meals tend to be VERY popular, so you’ll want to try to grab one of the new Happy Meals as soon as you can. These Squishmallows are even wearing jerseys representing the different countries that will be competing for the World Cup. TOO cute. ©McDonald’s McDonald’s hasn’t revealed how long these special World Cup Happy Meals will be available, but the FIFA World Cup runs from June 11th through July 19th, so that might be a good indicator of how long you’ll have to grab one for yourself. Again, we can’t stress just how popular McDonald’s previous Squishmallows Happy Meals were, so these toys could go quickly. McDonald’s Happy Meal We’ll keep an eye out for more McDonald’s news (while we reminisce about that time you could get McDonald’s fries in the parks), so check back with AllEars again soon for more. 16. Don’t miss out on your dream Disney World dining experience by booking the wrong restaurant! Be Our Guest We know how much thought and care go into planning a Disney World vacation. From picking the perfect hotel to snagging your must-have dining reservations, people can spend countless hours crafting the trip of a lifetime! But what if you build your plans around a particular restaurant only to find out it’s absolutely NOT what you expected?? Here are five Disney World restaurants people keep booking for the WRONG reason! For lots of guests, Character Dining is an essential part of the Disney World experience. After all, what screams “Disney World” more than meeting Mickey WHILE eating a Mickey waffle?? There are restaurants in each of the parks and a few hotels that offer Character Dining experiences
but there are also a few spots we often hear people assume offer Character Meals, when they actually don’t! Here are five Disney World restaurants that AREN’T Character Meals, even though lots of people think they are! Roundup Rodeo BBQ Roundup Rodeo BBQ is a Table Service restaurant located in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And we can totally see why people might assume that this is a Character Meal at first! For one, it’s a SUPER immersive atmosphere, themed after a rodeo arena created by Andy himself! Roundup Rodeo BBQ Plus, it FEELS like a more interactive experience since the Cast Members really get into their roles. In fact, you may even experience an “Andy’s Coming” moment! So Much to See! But despite the immersive decor and Cast Member interactions, Roundup Rodeo BBQ is NOT a Character Meal, so you won’t be able to meet any of the Toy Story characters here! Roundup Rodeo BBQ Even though you won’t find the Toy Story characters at this restaurant, Woody, Jessie, and Buzz are typically available throughout the day for character meet-and-greets in Toy Story Land. Be sure to check the My Disney Experience app for the times and locations they’re scheduled on the day of your visit! Hi from Woody and Jessie in Hollywood Studios! If you are in search of a place to have a Character Dining experience during your park day, Hollywood & Vine is the only spot that has a character meal in Hollywood Studios for now. Minnie at Hollywood & Vine Minnie Mouse is the “hostess” of the seasonal dining experiences at Hollywood & Vine, so you can usually meet Minnie, plus Mickey, Pluto, and Goofy! Check Out Our Full Review of Roundup Rodeo BBQ Be Our Guest Restaurant Speaking of restaurants that just “feel” like a Character Meal, Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom literally feels like you’re stepping RIGHT into Beauty and the Beast, with three gorgeous dining rooms inspired by Beast’s castle from the movie! Be Our Guest, West Wing Dining Room There’s the Grand Ballroom (where Belle and the Beast share their iconic dance at the end of the movie), plus the ominous West Wing (home to the enchanted rose!), and the Rose Gallery (a bright, cheerful room dedicated to Belle and the Beast’s romance). Be Our Guest, The Grand Ballroom To be fair, there’s also another good reason, on top of just the immersive design, that people may confuse this spot for a Character Meal. The Beast does typically come out and roam through the dining rooms at various points throughout the meal. But, he DOESN’T stop by the tables to meet with guests and take pictures, so you get a “character sighting” rather than a “character meeting,” like you do at an actual Character Meal. Be Our Guest
where you can see Beast, but not actually get a meet and greet with him Plus, he’s the ONLY character that makes an appearance, so don’t expect to spot any other Beauty and the Beast characters like Belle or Chip roaming around! Beast in Be Our Guest at Disney World If you’re looking for a princess-themed character meal, you can try to book Cinderella’s Royal Table at Magic Kingdom instead. Just beware, this is typically one of the HARDEST reservations to snag, so you’ll have to really be on top of it as soon as your reservation window opens! Ariel at Cinderella’s Royal Table Since Cinderella’s Royal Table can be hard to land, another great princess-themed Character Meal option is Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in EPCOT. Snow White at Akershus You can also find many of the princesses at regular meet-and-greets throughout the parks, especially Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. Remember to check the My Disney Experience app for the daily schedule of character appearances! Check Out Our Full Review of Be Our Guest Restaurant! ‘Ohana (for DINNER) If you thought having a character appear but not meet guests was confusing, wait until we get into our next few restaurants! ‘Ohana is the super-popular Hawaiian-style restaurant at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. ‘Ohana is home to the Best Friends Breakfast, an all-you-care-to-eat Character Meal where guests can typically meet Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto. Lilo at ‘Ohana But, there’s an essential caveat — the characters appear at breakfast ONLY! That’s right, NO characters will appear during dinner at ‘Ohana! This can understandably catch people off guard, since the question of “is this a Character Meal?” depends on WHICH meal — breakfast or dinner — you’re talking about. Characters at Breakfast ONLY! If you can’t snag a breakfast reservation at ‘Ohana, Stitch often appears in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom, so you can try to spot him in the park instead. And Mickey and Pluto make appearances all over, so just keep an eye on the app for a meet-and-greet that works for your schedule! Stitch! If you’re on the hunt for another nearby Character Meal option, Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort has visits from Mickey and friends at both breakfast AND dinner! Check Out Our Full Review of Dinner at ‘Ohana! Cape May Cafe (for DINNER) Now that we’ve gone over the confusion at ‘Ohana, hopefully this info about dinner at Cape May Cafe will be easier to swallow (no pun intended). Like ‘Ohana, Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club Resort DOES have a Character Meal for breakfast. It’s called “Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast” and features appearances from various characters, which can include Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy. Daisy at Cape May Cafe But, also like ‘Ohana, there are NO characters at Cape May Cafe for dinner! With that being said, dinner at Cape May Cafe might still be a big draw for seafood fans, since it includes all-you-can-eat surf-and-turf. But if it’s the characters your heart is set on, dinner at Cape May Cafe isn’t the place to go! Cape May Cafe plate from the dinner buffet The good news is, since the characters featured here are Minnie and friends, you can find them in plenty of places around the parks if you missed out on the character breakfast. Just remember to — you guessed it — check your My Disney Experience app to see where and when you can find character meet-and-greets in whichever park you’re visiting that day! Mickey and Minnie meeting in EPCOT We’ll also give another mention to Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort if you’re looking for a character dinner with a similar lineup. Plus, since it’s a hotel restaurant, you can make a reservation there no matter which park — if any — you’re planning on visiting that day! Check Out Our Full Review of Dinner at Cape May Cafe! Topolino’s Terrace (for DINNER) Rounding out our list, we have Topolino’s Terrace — Flavors of the Riviera, located at Disney’s Riviera Resort. Once again, you will find a prix fixe Character Breakfast here, called Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends. It’s a fun way to start your day with awesome views from the rooftop restaurant and visits from Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy in art-inspired costumes! Minnie at Topolino’s Terrace But, keeping with the trend, dinner at Topolino’s Terrace is NOT a Character Meal! Instead, you’ll find an elegant signature dining experience with gorgeous views thanks to the rooftop location. You can even see the EPCOT fireworks if you’ve got a later dinner! EPCOT Fireworks from Topolino’s Terrace With its fancy vibes and stellar views, dinner at Topolino’s Terrace is a perfect spot for an elegant date night or an elevated dining experience. Just keep in mind, you won’t see any characters during dinner! Tramonto Cocktail at Topolino’s Terrace If you’re in search of a nearby character meal, you could book a reservation for Garden Grill in EPCOT, which is just a Skyliner trip away! Garden Grill Food with Living With the Land in the Background! The vibes aren’t as fancy as Topolino’s Terrace, but Garden Grill also offers unique character costumes and cool views into Living with the Land as the restaurant slowly rotates during your meal! Check Out Our Full Review of Dinner at Topolino’s Terrace! Don’t get us wrong, there’s a LOT to love about all of these restaurants
But if you book them expecting to have a Character Dining experience, you’re gunna be disappointed! 19. We love vacationing on Disney cruises. You can get your daily dose of Disney magic without needing to fuss over Lightning Lanes, dining reservations, or crowds in the theme parks! We love Disney cruises! But Disney Cruise Line just released seven new rules that will make Disney cruises look totally different. Starting on June 3rd, these new rules will impact so many cruise traditions! For decades, cruise passengers have decorated their stateroom doors with fun magnets and accessories. One of our favorite Disney Cruise Line traditions is walking around the ship and seeing all of the fun decor. But starting on June 3rd, Disney is enacting new rules that severely limit the types of door decorations allowed. Soon, door decorations can only be placed on the stateroom door itself – they won’t be allowed on corridor walls or ceilings. Door decorations can’t be on walls anymore! Disney has also stated that tape, glue, and other adhesives can’t be used to decorate your door, as they can damage the door’s finish. Decorations should be magnets only! In addition, door decorations should not play sound, music, or videos, as they can disturb guests. Disney Cruise Door Magnets For the last new rule on door decorating, Disney has asked that guests not place anything valuable on their doors. Disney Cruise Line is not liable for the damage or loss of items left on the doors. In other words, unless you’re ok to part with it, don’t leave it out! We’ll be guarding these plushies with our lives! Inside your stateroom, Disney Cruise Line has now prohibited over-the-door hanging organizers. This presumably applies to both the front door and other doors inside the stateroom, including the bathroom and closet doors. According to Disney, over-the-door hanging organizers can cause scratches or other damage to stateroom doors and trim. Closet on the Disney Treasure Disney Cruise Line will also change their alcohol policy starting on June 3rd. Currently, passengers can bring two wine bottles on board, but this will be reduced to one wine bottle or six beers per guest. These must be packed in your carry-on bag that you physically carry on the ship, not a checked bag! Wine bottles in EPCOT While Disney Cruise Line has limited the number of alcoholic drinks passengers can bring onboard, it will soon be cheaper to consume them. 20. In case you missed it, Disney recently confirmed a classic attraction is getting a MAJOR overhaul. After years of waiting, the Carousel of Progress is changing. ©Disney Previously, Disney confirmed that a scene with a brand-new Walt Disney animatronic would be added. Now, they’ve confirmed that EVERY scene is changing in the Tomorrowland show. With some time to process the changes, we’re here to share Disney fans’ biggest thoughts and feelings about the updates. The Carousel of Progress will be closing on July 6th, 2026, to begin the big overhaul of this rotating theater show. Disney shared that they hope audiences will be able to connect with the new scenes and new eras. They’ve confirmed they’re revisiting the music, fashion, technology, and experiences that John and his family will have in the updated show. ©Disney Act 1 will feature the 1960s, which is when the Carousel of Progress first opened at the 1964 World’s Fair. In the summer of 1969, the Carousel family gathered around the television to witness the historic moon landing! Disney has shared this scene will capture the “spirit of innovation and possibility that has always been — and always will be — at the heart of Carousel of Progress.” Carousel of Progress In Act 2, we’ll be going to the 1980s! On Halloween night in 1985, Sarah will take center stage as she shares all about how the new appliances and gadgets are making life easier for the whole family. John is out on the porch handing out candy to trick-or-treaters, and poor Uncle Orville will still be in the bathroom with “no privacy at all around here!” Carousel of Progress In Act 3, we’re checking out the new millennium as the 1990s are ending. The family will be together to ring in the New Year in 1999. The Internet is bringing John, Sarah, Jimmy, and Patty closer together than ever before. Of course, Grandpa has already nodded off, so Grandma changes the TV over to wrestling when no one is looking. Finally, Act 4 will feature a possible future! They’ll be in a home that’s out of this world. The off-planet scene features a helpful robot assisting with everyday tasks, along with space travel, and imagines a future where extraordinary innovation has become part of life. ©Disney While we are pretty excited about the upcoming changes, fans online have some big feelings! On our Instagram and Facebook, we have been combing through the comments to see how YOU feel too. Just like any big announcement, there are feelings both positive and negative, about the announcement. A neutral moment came from Brian Ricci on Facebook, who wrote, “The 80s better have brown paneling everywhere and a tv entertainment set on the floor.” This seriously made us giggle! Carousel of Progress Gene Gorter wrote, “For nostalgia reasons, I always loved that attraction, but I also just think it’s such a great concept showing how lives have changed over the years. But of course, given that the attraction first opened 60 years ago, it’s been hard for them to keep it as relevant. So I’m very pleased they’re gonna refurbish it in this way instead of just turning it into a DVC lounge or something.” This is an opinion we can get behind! The Carousel! “I think they need to keep everything they currently have and add some updated new things at the end. Please do not delete the OG stuff,” wrote Jamie Hojnoski. We’re sorry to say Jamie might be a bit disappointed. Carol Williams Chambers wrote, “So history doesn’t matter? Not happy at all.” On Instagram, @jpod02 shared, “They took my mountain, they took my test track
now they’re taking my carousel.” Carousel of Progress @michele_diehl said, “Stop ruining the old stuff.” Safe to say, he isn’t too excited just yet. @diybratt shared their thoughts by saying, “Disney has lost the plot. It’s a show about progress how things didn’t exist and people decided to invent things we know today as common like AC, phones, airplanes, electric, refrigerators etc. seeing the world before our comfort. This is one of Walt’s babies he worked so hard on it. Truly so sad to see how some of Walt’s projects are getting “minor” refurbishments. I get it’s progress and things change all the time, but this one seems like it should be left alone.” This comment got 507 likes on our Instagram. Current Carousel of Progress Halloween scene Not everyone is too upset, though! Erin Thomen DiCola shared, “COP is a must for me when I go, and I am so excited for this! This is Walt’s vision to keep moving forward and changing.” Irmary M Betancourt Relta wrote, “Can they just keep it all lol and make it longer?” We would love an even longer version of the attraction! Carousel of Progress To defend Disney’s choice, @zefquinn27 wrote, “Everyone in the comments complaining about keeping it “old school” forget that Walt Disney originally envisioned the Carousel of Progress as something that would continue evolving over time. The whole concept was about imagining the future from the perspective of each era. Updating scenes to reflect modern ideas and future possibilities is actually closer to Walt’s original philosophy than keeping it permanently frozen in one decade. The ending scene was a prediction of our present future which ended up being scarily accurate. It’s finally time for the next prediction.” Sarah painting! Fans seem pretty torn over these changes, and they aren’t holding back. We received hundreds of comments on our platforms, but it really will come down to how fans feel about the ride once it officially opens. They confirmed the ride is going to reopen sometime in 2027, but they haven’t given a firm date just yet. While change can feel hard, it is inevitable. We can’t wait to see how the ride will be updated, but we know for a fact that there’s a great big beautiful tomorrow shining at the end of every day. 21. A NEW Disney Vacation Club Resort hotel is coming to Disney World in the summer of 2027! Lakeshore Lodge With SO MUCH happening at Disney World right now, from new lands to major ride retheming, it can be hard to keep up with all of the massive projects in the works! For example, did you know that Disney World’s brand-new hotel Disney Lakeshore Lodge is scheduled to open next year?? If you feel like this new addition has slipped under your radar so far, no worries — we’re doing a deep dive on Lakeshore Lodge, including a close-up look at the concept art AND an update on the current construction progress! What is Disney Lakeshore Lodge? Lakeshore Lodge is a new Disney Vacation Club Resort hotel that will be located on Disney World’s Bay Lake. Disney has shared that the hotel will “celebrate the beauty and magic of nature as seen through the eyes of Disney artists and storytellers.” ©Disney The hotel will include subtle nods to classic films, like the forests of Bambi, the colorful winds of Pocahontas, and the sweeping landscapes of Brother Bear. The natural theming of the hotel will begin before guests even enter, as they’ll be greeted with a one-mile tree-lined vista before seeing the Lodge itself. Disney has said that this kind of “grand expression” will be carried out through the porte-cochere, as well as the lobby, with a clear focus on nature, complete with skylights and lots of glass. ©Disney Lakeshore Lodge will offer 967 guest rooms, ranging from “cozy studios to spacious suites.” New one- and two-bedroom Lake Houses will also be located along the waterfront. Many of the rooms throughout the resort will feature a view of Bay Lake, with some also getting views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks at night! A frame cabins Lakeshore Lodge will be considered a Magic Kingdom Area Resort, and so far, Disney has confirmed that the hotel will have a dedicated boat dock for transportation between Lakeshore Lodge and Magic Kingdom. Concept Art for Lakeshore Lodge Disney has shared several pieces of concept art for Lakeshore Lodge that have given us some clues as to what we can expect with the finished product. Artwork of the front of the resort shows trees lining the road leading to the entrance, with the angular porte-cochĂšre located between buildings with guest rooms. ©Disney We’ve also gotten a glimpse of the back of the hotel, with another piece of concept art. This gives a better picture of the scale, showing how large the resort will be! Plus, it also shows some of the unique details of the hotel, upon closer view
©Disney By zooming in on this image, we spotted what appears to be a new restaurant on the hotel grounds, which seems like it’ll have incredible views of the water from the tables closest to the windows. ©Disney It also looks like there will be a relaxing area between the main pool and the lake itself, with hammocks, circular bed-like options, as well as
is that a whole couch? ©Disney And, of course, we can see a large pool with a spiral slide and a lazy river! This seems to be the hotel’s main pool area, although it will likely have other “quiet pool(s)” as is common with Disney World hotels. ©Disney In fact, we even saw what looks like a second pool area peeking out between two of the building wings in the concept art. ©Disney Things are subject to change during construction, so things might not turn out exactly like the concept art by the time the hotel opens. But it does give us a fairly good idea of what to expect for features and overall layout! Now, let’s take a look at where things stand with construction
Lakeshore Lodge Construction Progress Since Lakeshore Lodge is being built on Bay Lake, some of the construction progress is visible from the lake itself, so you might spot it if you’re taking boat transportation near Magic Kingdom! Lakeshore Lodge Construction We’ve also seen aerial shots of the construction progress shared by @bioreconstruct on X/Twitter. This recent update shows the lobby at top left, which will have a view across the lazy river courtyard. via @bioreconstruct on X/Twitter Another angle from farther out shows current construction progress on the building wings surrounding the lazy river. The buildings appear to be pretty far along from the outside. via @bioreconstruct on X/Twitter Here, we can see more progress on one of the wings, as well as boat dock construction in the top right, plus framing for what will likely be a quiet pool near the center. via @bioreconstruct on X/Twitter This aerial shot gives a great overview of the resort area and its layout. The porte-cochĂšre is near the center of this shot, with the building wings branching out from there. Behind the entrance is the main pool area and lazy river, with the boat dock near the top center-left of the image. A-frame Lake Houses are seen lining the shoreline both near the far left and top right of the picture. via @bioreconstruct on X/Twitter We’ll continue to keep a close eye on Lakeshore Lodge construction — both from Bay Lake and aerial shots shared by @bioreconstruct — and keep you updated with any major milestones! We’re SO excited to experience everything this brand-new hotel has to offer when it opens next year! As the opening timeline closes in, we expect Disney will share more details about everything from restaurants to amenities and decor, so stay tuned to DFB for all of the latest updates ahead of Lakeshore Lodge’s 2027 opening! 25. Things are changing constantly in Disney World these days. Disney Springs New rides, reimagined lands, updates at restaurants, and new entertainment offerings. There’s so much to see and do, but sometimes we have to say goodbye to things we used to love! And now, we’ve got an update about a closing dining offering at Disney Springs. During a recent visit to Disney Springs, we confirmed that the food trucks currently available on the West Side will be closing permanently at the end of the day on June 7th. This area has been home to a variety of food trucks over the years, serving everything from juice to healthy fare to tacos in cones. Food trucks As these are outside businesses, you may still be able to visit them in other locations off Disney property. Disney hasn’t announced what will happen to the courtyard that the trucks currently occupy, so we’ll make sure to check it out once the trucks have been removed. Gonna say goodbye! If you want to grab any of the snacks currently available, you’ll only have a few days to do so! This area is located directly next to Summer House on the Lake and the West Side Starbucks, across from popular spots like the Marvel and Star Wars stores. It’s fairly valuable real estate, so we hope Disney decides to add something new in place of the food trucks. Starbucks on the West Side of Disney Springs We’ll keep you posted with any more construction updates from Disney Springs. Several stores are in the process of renovating into new locations, and we’re eagerly awaiting the opening of Six Ravens over by Gideon’s Bakehouse.
