The day is finally almost here! Bluey’s Wild World officially opens to the public in Disney’s Animal Kingdom on May 26th, but the land has opened EARLY! Bluey! This is just one part of Disney’s Cool Kids’ Summer event, taking place from May 26th through September 8th this year, but it’s easily one of the most anticipated offerings. Bluey’s Wild World can be found over at Conservation Station, meaning you’ll need to take the Wildlife Express over. Prepare yourselves, though, because this area looks TOTALLY different now! You can also play games with Bluey and Bingo, and the kiddos were LOVING IT! Seriously, we think this might be the most joy we’ve ever seen on kids’ faces at Disney World, and we’ve been doing this for YEARS. The interactive show is adorable — there are four games and a short dance party at the end. Kiddos are loving it The good news is that Bluey and Bingo really make sure to make their way through the crowd so that all kids (and adults) get to say hi — even if it’s pretty quick. The bad news is that it’s SO loud between the music and the kids screaming that it’s a real relief once the show is over. LOTS going on More good news is that all of the exhibits inside Conservation Station have stuck around, so you can still see the reptiles, creepy crawlies, and the vet staff performing exams and doing surgery from time to time. Jumping Junction — the new animal area featuring red and grey kangaroos, plus wallabies — has opened early, too. Currently, you can come and look at the kangaroos through the fence, but in the future, you’ll be able to walk around them. Cast Members said that the animals are still getting used to being here, and they want to make sure that they are completely comfortable before allowing people to get close to them. There will also be exciting Bluey-themed snacks and drinks to check out, and you can see the full list here. We got to try the new Fairy Bread Cake — check out our review here! Fairy Bread Cake If you want to visit Bluey’s Wild World when it officially opens, here’s everything you need to know about the Virtual Queue: In the morning, before 7 AM, open your My Disney Experience App and on the main page, click on Virtual Queue. Here, it will take you to the Bluey’s Wild World Virtual Queue page. When you get to this page, confirm your party and then wait until 7 AM. Once it hits 7 AM, you’ll be able to try to join the queue. ©Disney To join the queue at 7 AM, you must have a valid park admission or a theme park reservation if applicable. And if you don’t get the first drop, don’t worry, there is another drop at 10 AM. However, you should be aware that to participate in the 10 AM drop, you need to be inside the park. Disney has not announced how long this Virtual Queue system will be in place for, so if you have a trip coming up, be prepared to secure a virtual queue if you want to hang with Bluey. We’re so excited! This is certain to be a VERY popular experience all summer long, so be sure to pack your patience and prepare yourself for waiting in some intense lines! In late December 2026, a Disney World Cast Member was injured after he stepped between the crowd to stop a runaway fake prop that weighs 400 pounds at the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular in Hollywood Studios. Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular The incident happened in one of the first scenes of the show when a prop boulder begins to roll down a ramp towards Indiana Jones, which is a recreation of a scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark. The Cast Member, Robert Herrick, then jumps between the prop and the audience to stop it from bounding into the crowd. After months of recovery, Herrick has officially returned to work, according to WFTV. Herrick received serious injuries — such as vertebral fractures — during the incident. He returned to work this past week and performed again in the stunt spectacle on Friday, May 22nd. He previously said that stopping the boulder was worth it. “I can’t tell you that I was just thinking of anything other than it cannot make the audience,” he said. Indiana Jones Though Herrick has returned to the show, the boulder prop is still not being used in the show. Disney has not shared when or if it might return, but we’re hopeful it will come back at some point. The Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular show is still running at Hollywood Studios, however. Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular In a statement released shortly after the incident, Disney shared, “We’re focused on supporting our cast member, who is recovering. Safety is at the heart of what we do, and that element of the show will be modified as our safety team completes a review of what happened.” In the video, the Cast Member doesn’t immediately get up after being hit. At that point, several other Cast Members are seen running to his side. Disney has previously shared that this boulder weighs up to 400 pounds and is made of rubber. Summer in Disney World is always full of lots and lots of people and crowds; however, one weekend is known for its crazy crowds and intense wait times: The Fourth of July. Magic Kingdom And even though the Fourth of July weekend is still over a month away, we are already seeing signs that it’s gonna be a super busy weekend. Park reservations are already starting to fill up, so let’s get into what you need to know if you’re planning on visiting Disney World over that weekend. Currently, the 3rd, 4th, and 5th of July all have limited park reservation availability. Only Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios are available to be booked, while Magic Kingdom and EPCOT are completely sold out. However, these park reservations only apply to ticket holders without a date-based reservation, so most of those guests with date-based tickets don’t need to worry about this update. 4th of July Park Reservations! So, if you do not have a date-based ticket, we would suggest booking those reservations as soon as possible. However, since there is still availability at two parks if you want to visit EPCOT and Magic Kingdom on any of those three days, you can check into the park you reserved, then hop over to another park after, even though the reservations are full. This only applies if you have a park hopper ticket AND if the park has not reached capacity. As well, we noticed that reservations are still open to Incredi Pass and Socerer Pass, Passholders. However, Passholders with the Pirate Pass or Pixie Pass are blocked out for this weekend. And any Passholders with availability should also book soon in case Passholder Reservations run out. Passholder Park Reservations for Fourth of July Weekend It’s also important to note that Magic Kingdom is going to be especially busy on the Fourth of July, because of the exclusive fireworks show that happens that evening. It is possible that on these extremely busy and popular days, the parks can reach capacity. So that means if you’re not in the park when it reaches capacity, then you won’t be able to get in. When visiting Disney World during these extremely popular times, it’s important to have a plan so you know exactly how to get the most out of your visit and beat the crowds. EPCOT has its own fireworks show, too, and while it tends to get crowded, it’s not typically as packed as Magic Kingdom. EPCOT has changed a lot over the past few years, but one thing hasn’t changed: this park has its own rhythm. EPCOT Between festivals, World Showcase snacks, and late-night rides, it’s easy to get caught up in the excitement and accidentally make your day way harder than it needs to be. Some EPCOT “rules” are official Disney policies. Others are habits seasoned park fans swear by after years of trial and error. If you want a smoother park day with fewer headaches, these are the mistakes you’ll want to avoid on your next visit. Starting World Showcase in Canada We said what we said. If you’re doing a full World Showcase loop, the correct answer is starting in Mexico. EPCOT’s Mexico Pavilion The Mexico Pavilion just feels like the perfect EPCOT kickoff. It’s indoors, air-conditioned, and home to one of the best ride-and-snack combos in the entire park. Grabbing a margarita, tacos, or a pastry from inside the pavilion before the crowds build is one of the smartest ways to ease into the day. Reposado shot at La Cava del Tequila Meanwhile, starting in Canada first can throw off your pacing, especially if you’re planning to snack or drink your way around the lagoon. Mexico simply sets the tone better, and longtime EPCOT fans will defend this take with their whole chest. Treating Drinking Around the World Like a Sprint Drinking Around the World is practically an EPCOT rite of passage, but too many people approach it like a competition instead of a marathon. Elderflower Sparkling Cocktail Florida heat is no joke, especially during festival season when you’re outside for hours. If you’re ordering cocktails around World Showcase, water is non-negotiable. So is actual food. A couple festival booths and one pretzel are not enough to carry you through eleven countries. The smartest EPCOT visitors alternate drinks with water and build snack breaks into their route. Your future self will thank you around the France Pavilion. Rope Dropping Spaceship Earth Look, we love Spaceship Earth as much as anybody. It’s iconic, nostalgic, and basically EPCOT’s giant silver welcome sign. But heading there immediately at park open is one of the easiest ways to waste valuable morning time. Spaceship Earth A lot of guests instinctively stop there first, which causes the wait to spike early in the day. Meanwhile, other attractions throughout the park often have significantly shorter lines during that same window. Save Spaceship Earth for later in the afternoon or evening when the wait drops. Riding through the history of communication somehow feels even better once the sun starts going down anyway. Ignoring Festival Booth Lines Early One of the biggest EPCOT mistakes happens during festivals. People assume they can circle back to popular food booths later. Bad idea. India booth Festival crowds can build fast, especially on weekends. The most popular booths can end up with surprisingly long waits by lunchtime, and some festival items even sell out before the day ends. If there’s a dish or drink you’ve been looking forward to trying, prioritize it earlier than you think you need to. EPCOT festivals reward people who plan ahead just a little bit. Wearing Brand-New Shoes This sounds dramatic until you hit your seventh pavilion and realize your feet are staging a protest. EPCOT is huge. Between World Celebration, World Discovery, World Nature, and the entire World Showcase loop, you can rack up an absurd number of steps without realizing it. EPCOT’s World Showcase Comfortable shoes are essential here, especially during summer afternoons when the heat drains your energy faster. Breaking in new sneakers during an EPCOT day is a rookie move that can derail your entire trip by dinner time. EPCOT rewards guests who slow down, plan smart, and avoid a few classic mistakes. A little strategy goes a long way in this park, especially now that crowds, festivals, and summer heat can turn a casual day into a chaotic one pretty quickly. It’s another long holiday weekend in Disney World, and if there’s anything we’ve learned from them in the past, it’s that the crowds can truly be unpredictable. It’s Memorial Day in Disney World! We’ve had holiday weekends that were predictably packed, and then others that made us question if we got the date wrong and it’s just a normal Monday. Memorial Day is a bit different, though, because it often falls at the start of summer vacation for many families, as their kids have just ended school. So what do things look like this year? Our boots are on the ground right now in Magic Kingdom, and let’s just say that, once again, things shocked us a bit! Crowds at the TTC and the entrance gates didn’t give us anything to be concerned about, but we didn’t want to let down our guard just yet, because things can look very different when you actually step into the park. However, once we got onto Main Street, U.S.A., we’ll admit that things looked a little busy, but it wasn’t any different than recent summer days we’ve seen. Main Street U.S.A. crowds Most people on Main Street were moving onto other parts of the park, though, so, with our curiosity piqued, we headed over to Fantasyland to see what was going on. To our surprise…it wasn’t crowded AT ALL. Sure, there were people walking around, but it was far from shoulder-to-shoulder. Fantasyland crowds The biggest tell? We walked by the sign for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and as it turns out, they have walk-up availability today, which is a MASSIVE sign that crowds aren’t intense today at all! We remember when getting a reservation was like gearing up to go to battle, but today? No need to worry about that. Walk-Up availability on Memorial Day! Now, it’s important to note that crowds very much may not be like this elsewhere. While Jessie’s Roundup did just soft open in Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios just saw the beginning of the phased opening of The Walt Disney Studios, which is very exciting, and EPCOT soft opened Soarin’ Across America early. Jessie’s Roundup If you’re sticking around in Disney World for the rest of the week, keep in mind that crowds between today and the rest of the week may be COMPLETELY different. May 26th is a massive day in the parks with even MORE new attractions opening. It’s officially the beginning of Cool KIDS’ SUMMER across the whole resort, which is bringing so many fun additions that kiddos especially will love. Bluey’s Wild World will also open in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will open its doors to the public in Hollywood Studios — we told you it was a lot! Ever since Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs opened at Disney’s BoardWalk, it’s been one of our favorite places to grab a bite to eat — and for more than just corn dogs, too. Deep Fried Cheesecake Don’t get us wrong, we LOVE the corn dogs there (this one with cheese in it is a favorite), but some of our absolute favorite eats here have been the desserts! We literally dream about the Deep Fried Hawaiian Rolls from Blue Ribbon, so when we saw that another deep-fried dessert was coming to the menu, we absolutely had to try it out, too. We’re bringing you our full review of the new Deep Fried Cheesecake! We grabbed the new Deep Fried Cheesecake from Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs for $13. It’s a slice of plain cheesecake, battered and fried in pancake batter, then dusted with powdered sugar and covered in strawberries, served with a side of whipped cream. If this sounds incredibly sweet and indulgent, you’d be right about that! The cheesecake is perfectly fried, and the ratio of batter to cheesecake is perfect. The cheesecake itself is a classic New York-style cheesecake and is fluffy and rich — not too sweet and full of the classic cream cheese whipped flavors that immediately scream cheesecake. The crust on the cheesecake is a graham cracker crust and is thick enough that you can taste it even with the batter. Deep Fried Cheesecake on a stick The only small downside was the strawberry topping — this would have been so much better if you received a cup of it to control how much of the sauce you want in each bite. Also, there weren’t many berry pieces on our serving, which, with the size of the cheesecake, we wished there had been. The berries used for the sauce were also frozen, so it wasn’t a super-fresh strawberry flavor. Overall, this was a hit, but we would like more sauce. SUPER creamy and moist The good news is that this thing is HUGE and definitely shareable. It was so heavy that we couldn’t even pick it up by the stick it came on — we ended up needing to use a fork to eat it. While we enjoyed it, we still don’t think it beats the Deep Fried Hawaiian Rolls on the menu here — those are still the best! We’ll be on the lookout for even more new snacks to review at Disney World and beyond. In the meantime, make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest Disney news and more! Back in early January, it was announced that during Cool KIDS’ SUMMER this year, there would be a NEW addition coming to the event over in Magic Kingdom. Jessie’s Roundup is HERE! Disney announced that this summer, Jessie, Woody, and friends will join guests at the Diamond Horseshoe for some “energetic fun” at Jessie’s Roundup! However, other than mentioning that you’ll be able to craft, dance, and yodel your heart out at this special event, that’s about all we knew. The experience just soft opened, though, so we just got to step into the roundup for the first time and see what’s offered! The experience soft opened in Magic Kingdom on May 24th, and with that, we got to see the full scale of what’s available at this new offering! To start, there are TONS of fun games for kiddos in here, all with Cast Members nearby to help assist them in playing, if they need it. Lots of games! There’s a maze they can use their finger to figure out the path, a small cornhole-style game, a ring around the horseshoe game, a spot the difference picture game, and big blocks to play with. Fun activities! When you enter, you’re given a deputy star sticker, and there’s a board nearby to make your own deputy name based on your favorite Toy Story character! Or, you can just write your name, if you’d like! So fun! There are also multiple shows you can see inside, not just one! The first one we got to see starred Jessie herself and had original songs all about Jessie being the yodeling cowgirl. You’ll even get to see Woody come out and join in on the fun! Woody and Jessie! The second show we got to see starred none other than Bullseye, and he taught kids the Horseshoe Stomp, while his friend Dusty Strings played the guitar. It’s Bullseye! We think this is a super fun offering that families will love this summer, especially since it’s in the AC, which is often VERY needed during hot Disney days. Now, if you’re missing the dining service offered here, we encourage you to head over to Liberty Tree Tavern, where you can get the same menu all summer long! So much fun! Cool KIDS’ SUMMER runs from May 26th through September 8th this year, but we have a feeling this offering will be popular, so you may want to prioritize it if you or your kiddos really love Toy Story. Picking the right hotel for a Disneyland vacation is a deceptively tough task… Disneyland Hotel When you’re planning your very first Disneyland vacation, booking a hotel feels like one of the easiest decisions on the list. You see a Disney-owned hotel, you assume it’s the best option, you check out the theming and prices to decide between the hotels, and boom — reservation complete. But a LOT of Disneyland first-timers end up realizing way too late that they booked the wrong hotel for the kind of trip they actually wanted. Unlike Disney World — where the hotel scene is a HUGE part of the experience — Disneyland’s setup is much more intimate. Featuring only three on-property resorts, the options are seemingly limited, and that can force first-time Disneyland visitors to make a regrettable decision. Disneyland Hotel One of the biggest misconceptions about Disneyland’s hotels is assuming that “Disney-owned” automatically means convenient. Yes, all three Disneyland Resort hotels are technically close to the parks. But the way you actually get to the parks is wildly different depending on where you stay. Let’s start with the gold standard: Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. This hotel has the biggest advantage on property because it offers a direct entrance into Disney California Adventure. You can practically roll out of bed and end up inside Grizzly Peak within minutes. For guests planning heavy California Adventure days, that convenience is impossible to beat. But be ready to pay premium prices for a room here… Grand California Hotel Meanwhile, Pixar Place Hotel USED to have its own dedicated entrance into Disney California Adventure, but that entrance is gone. That means guests now have a longer walk than many first-timers expect. It’s still near the parks and esplanade, but it’s no longer the secret shortcut hotel it used to be. Pixar Place Hotel Then there’s the Disneyland Hotel. Back in the day, this hotel had direct monorail access, but now guests have to walk through Downtown Disney to reach the park entrances, and that walk can feel surprisingly long after a full day in the parks. Yes, you CAN hop on the Monorail into Tomorrowland in Disneyland Park, but that only helps if the line isn’t backed up and if Tomorrowland is actually where you want to end up. This isn’t a terrible option, however, since the Monorail station isn’t all too far from the security checkpoint that connects the hotel to Downtown Disney. Disneyland Monorail And then we have the Good Neighbor Hotels. These nearby partner hotels vary in proximity. Some visitors assume every off-site hotel is a short walk away, but that’s not always true. Some are walkable, while others require transportation like buses, shuttles, or rideshares. A hotel may look close on a map, but still take significantly longer to reach than expected once crowds, crosswalks, and traffic enter the equation. And even if they are walkable, sometimes walking to your hotel room in a non-Disney bubble at midnight after a long day isn’t the most enticing prospect… At the same time, the entire resort area is so condensed that some off-site hotels are honestly MORE convenient than certain Disney-owned hotels. There are Good Neighbor Hotels directly across the street from the Harbor entrance that can get you to security faster than guests staying at the Disneyland Hotel on busy mornings. At Disneyland, proximity is EVERYTHING. It’s a priority for a lot of people to circle when deciding to visit Disneyland versus Disney World. If you care about saving time on your commute, hotel proximity to your preferred destinations is the first piece of homework you’ll want to do. Parkestry Rooftop Bar at the JW Marriott Another mistake Disneyland first-timers tend to make is that they assume that staying at a Disney-owned hotel is simply the norm. This ain’t Disney World, folks. Sure, the theming is great, the hotels are beautiful, there are perks, and the amenities rock. But wow, the prices can get intense. The Grand Californian can easily cost well over $600 through $900 or more PER NIGHT for a standard room, and the Disneyland Hotel and Pixar Place aren’t cheap either, often landing in the same luxury-tier pricing category as Disney World’s deluxe resorts. Grand Californian Hotel room For some families, that splurge absolutely feels worth it. But for others? They realize afterward that they barely spent any time in the hotel at all, which really makes you start to wonder if it’s worth it. You can save hundreds or even thousands of dollars by staying at a nearby Good Neighbor Hotel instead. Yes, you do lose some Disney perks — most notably the complimentary Lightning Lane perk offered to Disneyland Resort hotel guests. But here’s the thing: In many cases, guests can save enough money by staying off-site to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass themselves and still have plenty left over for dining, souvenirs, or extra park days. The savings become even bigger if you cash in on hotel rewards points — something you won’t get at a Disney-owned hotel. Lightning Lane at Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway That math surprises a LOT of first-time visitors. Staying off-site may not feel quite as immersive, but if your priority is maximizing park time while minimizing hotel costs, it can easily be the smarter financial decision. If you’re only looking for a place to shower and sleep, check out the Good Neighbor spots. If you want your hotel to be just as immersive at the parks, the Disney-owned trio of hotels each offers something special and worthwhile. Views The good news? Even if you don’t select the ideal Disneyland Resort area hotel perfectly on your first go-around, there’s no reason you still won’t have an amazing vacation. Everything you need is so close to wherever you are, and there are always workarounds and shortcuts you’ll find to enhance your vacation. Oh Gideon’s Bakehouse, you have captured our hearts…and stomachs. Gideon’s Bakehouse This quirky bake shop is one of the most unique spots to grab a snack in Disney World, with its dark and broody theming and ridiculously long lines due to its popularity. The menu is laden with half-pound cookies, enormous cake slices, and fun coffee beverages, but the cookies are really the star of the show. We’ve been to Gideon’s Bakehouse countless times and tried every cookie on the menu, and now, we bring you the official ranking! 1. Coffee Cake After polling our team and averaging out the responses, the top of our list is the Coffee Cake Cookie! This was pretty universally beloved. According to Gideon’s, it’s described as, “an extra Buttery Vanilla Bean Cookie filled with Cinnamon Strudel and topped with our Homemade Double Baked Butter Crumbs.” Coffee Cake Cookie We find this one to be soft, delicious, and just the perfect amount of sweet. The catch though? It’s ONLY available in the mornings until it sells out for the day, so you have to be quick! 2. Banana Bread Chocolate Chip With a somewhat surprising choice, the second cookie in our ranking is the Banana Bread Chocolate Chip. This was originally a seasonal cookie that was SO popular with fans that Gideon’s Bakehouse made it a permanent menu item. That’s how you know it’s good! Banana Bread Chocolate Chip Cookie It’s a “Vanilla Bean Cookie blended with real Bananas, a mix of Dark and Semisweet Chocolates, Candied Walnuts, and finely crushed Banana Chips.” The recipe took over 20 years to perfect, and it shows. We love the mix of textures here, and it’s decadent without being too much. A good balance for people who want some chocolate. 3. Pistachio Toffee Chocolate Chip The most popular of the original bunch with our team is the Pistachio Toffee Chocolate Chip. This is a favorite among the Gideon’s Bakehouse community in general, but it’s perhaps the best way to level up a basic chocolate chip cookie. ©Gideon’s Bakehouse This mixes the classic chocolate chips with crunchy toffee pieces and lightly salted pistachios. It’s a really delicious mix of sweet and salty, and it has become of one Gideon’s most well-known cookies. 4. Cookies & Cream Cookies & Cream was one person on our team’s favorite, but for most folks, it ranked near the top of their list. Gideon’s Bakehouse describes it as “like a cookies & cream milkshake in a cookie.” It’s made of a vanilla bean cookie filled with hand-cut chunks of Double Stuff Oreos. Cookies & Cream Cookie It’s then completely covered in chunks of cookies to give it both a crunchy and soft texture. This is one of the sweeter options on the menu, but those who love sugary treats are sure to find it addicting. 5. Dark Coffee Cake This one is incredibly similar to the Coffee Cake Cookie, but with the Dark Coffee Cake, you get a chocolate cookie base. This is another of those unique ones — it’s only available after sunset until it sells out, so it can be hard to snag. Yum! It’s a great mix of those same cinnamon-sugar coffee cake flavors and the richness of chocolate. It can be a lot to handle on the sweetness level, but it’s one of those treats that you have to try at least once. 6. Peanut Butter Crunch Now we’re arriving into the territory of cookies that were a bit divisive with our team. Some people ranked this one low, while others put it near the top of their list. The Peanut Butter Crunch Cookie is made with a peanut butter dough and topped with homemade candied peanuts and peanut butter chips. It’s a LOT of peanut butter…a LOT. ©Gideon’s Bakehouse This one is crunchier than some of the other cookies due to the peanuts, and it leans more into the salty side of things. If you’re not a massive fan of peanuts as a flavor, then this is not the cookie for you, but some die-hard peanut butter lovers find it to be the perfect treat. 7. Triple Chocolate Chip If the Peanut Butter Crunch Cookie is hard to swallow for those who are iffy about peanut butter, then the Triple Chocolate Chip Cookie is the challenge for those who can’t handle a lot of chocolate. For those who are chocoholics, this cookie is a dream come true…but many find it overwhelming and too rich. This cookie is made with FIVE kinds of chocolate including Callebaut and Ghirardelli. Triple Chocolate Cookie from Gideon’s Bakehouse — East End Market Location Chocolate ganache goes straight into the cookie dough as it’s mixed, making this one smooth in the middle. Some on our team are really big fans (it was top of the list for yours truly), but others find it overbearing. 8. Original Chocolate Chip And finally, our lowest-ranked of the main menu is the Original Chocolate Chip Cookie. Don’t get us wrong, this is a FANTASTIC chocolate chip cookie, but when compared to the rest of the menu, it’s not quite as inventive or exciting as the other options. It ranks lowest simply because there are so many options, and they’re ALL good. Gideon’s Chocolate Chip Cookies The Gideon’s Bakehouse website says this recipe took 15 years to perfect and notes the following: “It is packed inside and out with a variety of Chocolates, infused with differing vanillas, and has a texture that might almost trick you into thinking you’re eating Cookie Dough. This Cookie has been named everything from Best in Orlando to Best on Planet Earth and we couldn’t be prouder to hand make it from scratch for you daily.” A true kickstart to an incredible menu! Honorable Mention Cookies Of course, Gideon’s Bakehouse is also known for having seasonal cookies every month, and in the 5+ years that they’ve been open at Disney Springs, there have been a bunch of different varieties. AJ’s personal favorites include the Lemon Poppyseed and the White Chocolate Chip Caramel cookies. Lemon Poppyseed Cookie Other popular cookies include the Kris Kringle for the holiday season and the Krampus cookie during Halloween. Those are particularly over-the-top. During February, there’s often a spicy Eternal Flame cookie that can be rather divisive, but is very unique. And our team had very strong opinions about the Mint Chocolate Chip Cookie — people either really loved it…or really hated it. Walt Disney Studios is modeled after its namesake, the animation studio in Burbank, California — and it really looks just like it! This spot is also where you can find additional infant essentials for sale — in case you forgot or ran out. You’ll find items like diapers, wipes, baby food, formula, clothing, sunscreen, and over-the-counter medications, depending on what’s available at any given moment. An adorable welcome sign For parents and guardians of multiple kids, Baby Care Centers also offer plenty of toys to keep older ones entertained while the little ones are being tended to, like this fully stocked lineup of plushes and stuffies! Toys for kiddos There are also plenty of activities and art supplies, including colored pencils, glue, chalk, crayons, scissors, construction paper, and even paint and paint brushes! These Baby Care Centers can really come in handy when you need to take care of your little ones, and they offer a nice respite from both the heat and the chaos of the rest of the Disney World parks. One Disney World trend we never love to see coming is price increases. Victoria & Albert’s Over the last few years, we’ve noticed an annual price increase on almost everything related to the Disney parks, from snacks to tickets and even table services. Even Signature Dining Experiences continue to increase in price, and this latest hike is no different. Now, the price has increased for the most exclusive dining experience in Disney World. It’s not uncommon to see Disney World increase prices every year on food, experiences, park tickets, Annual Passes, and more. If you’re heading on a trip anytime soon and have plans to dine at Victoria & Albert’s at the Grand Floridian, you need to be prepared to pay even more. Waygu Pastrami Previously, Victoria & Albert’s prix-fixe menu began at $295.00 per Guest. Optional wine pairings started at $155.00 per guest, and zero-proof pairings started at $115.00 per guest. But now, the prix-fixe menu is $375.00 per guest. Optional wine pairings start at $210.00 per guest, and zero-proof pairings start at $145.00 per guest. Wine Pairing That’s a whopping $80 increase on the base menu, and a $55 and $30 increase for the wine pairing and zero-proof pairing starting prices, respectively. Rocky Mountain Lamb The price increases come after Disney announced that Chef Matthew Sowers had been promoted from chef de cuisine at Victoria & Albert’s to the new executive chef of the entire Grand Floridian Resort. With its AAA five-diamond rating, Victoria & Albert’s is one of the three most critically acclaimed restaurants in Florida. And, in May 2024, Victoria & Albert’s was awarded a Michelin star. Additionally, the renowned foodie website laliste.com has published its list of the Top 1,000 Restaurants for 2025, and Victoria & Albert’s received a score of 93.5, putting it within the top 25 highest-placed American restaurants on the list. Belgian Caviar The main Dining Room is available for only two seatings per evening, and features the Chef’s Tasting Menu, which allows guests to choose anywhere between eight and twelve courses. Guests receive personalized menus that Victoria & Albert’s begins to construct about a week before your reservation. Miyazaki A-5 at Victoria & Albert’s The Queen Victoria Room is a slightly more secluded option here. It only accommodates up to eight guests at a time, spread out over four tables of two, and guests also enjoy a version of the Chef’s Degustation Menu. The pricing here is the same in the main dining room. Old Fashioned Also available is the Victoria and Albert’s Chef’s Table, an ultra-exclusive 3-hour dining experience where your party is seated in the kitchen. There is one seating per night for parties of up to 6 guests (with a minimum of 4), and bookings need to be made as close to 60 days ahead as possible. Wine pairings can be added to the meal for an extra cost. You can find our most recent review of this experience here. Chef’s Table pricing now begins at $425 per guest. It’s no secret that MagicBands have become an integral part of Walt Disney World vacations over the last decade+. They can serve as room keys, payment methods, entry tickets, be used to check-in for Lightning Lanes, connect with Photopass, and react to select Disney theme park attractions with “lighting effects and gesture recognition”, and they’re available in a slew of cool designs! MagicBand+ Now, Walt Disney World Annual Passholders have exclusive access to some big MagicBand perks. Disney Annual Passholders can purchase one MagicBand+ per Annual Pass pre-arrival via MyDisneyExperience, and receive: Free shipping Free personalization A custom shipping box, which, according to Disney, can be used for a fun unboxing moment. MagicBand+ Interestingly, while Disney is expanding MagicBand discounts on the East Coast, rumors abound that the same can’t be said for Disney World’s West Coast counterpart. These reports indicate that Disneyland will sell through its current stock – available at Elias & Co. at Disney California Adventure, Emporium at Disneyland Park, and World of Disney at Downtown Disney – and will order no additional stock. On Thursday, May 21st, a hazmat incident and potential chemical leak began in Garden Grove, California, located just five miles from Knott’s Berry Farm and Disneyland. Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure Neither park is in the identified evacuation zone, and both are currently still open. Disneyland has now released an official statement regarding the incident. Here’s what you need to know if you’re planning a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth right now. A hazmat incident at GKN Aerospace on Western Avenue in Garden Grove occurred on Thursday, May 21st, and has since worsened over the weekend. The crisis involves a malfunctioning chemical tank that threatens to explode and release a toxic cloud, which would affect hundreds of thousands of people in the area and for miles around, including Disneyland. Sleeping Beauty Castle As of now, Disneyland is not in the identified evacuation zone, but many are wondering whether it’s safe to visit the parks. Disney officials have now put out a statement advising that, at this time, ” there is no impact to Disneyland Resort due to this situation and the resort remains open to guests.” Disney said that they are actively monitoring the situation and taking guidance from local authorities. Disneyland The statement goes on to say, “The Disneyland Resort is approximately five miles from the incident and is not in the identified evacuation zone. Updates can be found by following Orange County Fire Authority on social media.” Disney is advising people to check the local guidelines before travel. Road closures, detours, or traffic disruptions in the surrounding area may impact how people get to and from the resort. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland So, while Disneyland isn’t in the evacuation zone and the parks remain open, travel to and from Disneyland could be impacted due to the chemical incident. Disneyland Currently, the situation has forced 40,000 people to evacuate in an impact zone, which includes parts of Garden Grove, Anaheim, Cypress, Stanton, and Westminster. When speaking about the situation, a Knott’s Berry Farm employee spokesperson said, “The safety and well-being of our guests and team members is a cornerstone of our business. We are working closely with our partners at the Orange County Fire Authority to actively monitor the situation. At this time, the park has not been impacted.” Disney California Adventure As of the evening of Saturday, May 23rd, the Disneyland union instructed Cast Members who feel unsafe and are affected by the chemical leak to stay home. We also know that while Disneyland itself isn’t in the potential blast zone, many Disneyland guests stay in the Garden Grove area, and others travel through it on their way to the park. The governor has also declared a State of Emergency. During the afternoon on Sunday, May 24th, Orange County Fire Authority Interim Chief TJ McGovern said firefighters did “a recon mission on the tank” late Saturday night, during which they discovered a crack, which could be relieving some of the pressure, ABC7 has reported. Disney California Adventure This is an ongoing situation, and we will update you as we learn more. Stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest updates. Disney World hotel rooms work hard in the summer. Port Orleans Riverside Between the Florida heat, soaked park clothes, late-night snack runs, and the general chaos of vacation mode, your room quickly turns into command central for the trip. The good news is that a few smart travel items can completely change how comfortable, organized, and rested you feel by the end of the day. These are the hotel room upgrades we’ve actually tested recently, and honestly, some of them made a much bigger difference than we expected. DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. Your Hotel Room Air Is Drier Than You Think HOMDIS Travel Humidifier The HOMDIS Travel Humidifier ended up being one of those products that quietly made our hotel stay way more comfortable. Summer in Disney World means lots of sun, blasting air-conditioning, and long flights for many travelers, which can leave your throat and sinuses feeling incredibly dry by bedtime. HOMDIS Travel Humidifier What makes the HOMDIS Travel Humidifier so convenient is how tiny and travel-friendly it is. It screws directly onto a standard water bottle, including regular Dasani bottles, and creates a surprisingly steady mist without taking up precious suitcase space. It’s lightweight, rechargeable, whisper quiet, and even has optional color-changing lights that double as a fun little night light. How it attaches We especially liked that it has multiple bottle adapters and different mist settings so you can stretch the battery longer overnight. It didn’t fully last through the night wirelessly during our test, so we’d recommend plugging it in beside the bed just to be safe. If your throat always feels wrecked after a park day, this is worth looking into. view ON AMAZON The One Thing That’ll Actually Help You Sleep Through Resort Noise Dreamegg Portable Travel White Noise Machine The Dreamegg Portable Travel White Noise Machine completely converted some of our biggest skeptics. If you’ve ever stayed at a value resort during a busy travel season, you already know the struggle. Hallway noise, neighboring rooms, buses starting early in the morning, and excited kids at rope drop o’clock can make it hard to actually rest. We love how portable it is! The Dreamegg Portable Travel White Noise Machine is tiny enough to fit in the palm of your hand, but it packs a shocking amount of sound customization into that little egg-shaped design. It includes 16 different sounds ranging from fan noises to rain and ocean waves, plus adjustable volume controls that actually get loud enough to block outside noise. The battery life was impressive, too. It lasted all night without needing to stay plugged in during testing. The timer settings and USB-C charging also make it easy to travel with, since you’re not juggling another weird cable. Dreamegg Portable Travel White Noise Machine This is one of those products that can genuinely improve how rested you feel during your trip. Take a look at it before your next hotel stay. view ON AMAZON The Outlet Situation Gets Out of Control Fast Charging Station The HICOBER 3 in 1 Charging Station for Multiple Apple Devices solved one of the biggest Disney hotel room headaches almost immediately. Between phones, smart watches, portable chargers, and AirPods, hotel nightstands become a tangled mess by the end of the day. Charging Station This foldable charging station lets you charge your iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods all at once while taking up barely any room. We loved how compact it folded down for packing, and it made the room feel way less cluttered during the trip. The magnetic charging pucks are surprisingly versatile, too. During testing, we even used the AirPods spot to charge an iPad. The little blue charging indicator light was also genuinely useful because it quickly showed whether devices were aligned properly. Everything charged overnight without any issue, even while all three spots were being used at once. If your family constantly fights over outlets in hotel rooms, this thing earns its suitcase space very quickly. Grab one for your next Disney trip. view ON AMAZON Living Out of a Suitcase Gets Old by Day Two BAGSMART 4-Shelf Hanging Packing Cube The BAGSMART 4-Shelf Hanging Packing Cube made our hotel room feel way more organized without much effort. Disney hotel rooms aren’t exactly famous for massive storage space, especially when multiple people are sharing one room. What makes this different from regular packing cubes is that it transforms into hanging shelves once you arrive. You basically pack it flat inside your suitcase, then unzip it and hang it up in the closet. Suddenly, all your shirts, park outfits, and extra gear are visible instead of buried in luggage piles. It has multiple compartments, zipper pockets, dividers, and compression straps, so it holds a surprising amount. Bagsmart hanging bag We also appreciated the two-hook setup because it kept the shelves stable while loading them up. The only thing to know is that it’s bulkier than regular packing cubes, especially if you’re trying to survive with only a carry-on. For travelers who hate digging through suitcases every morning, this is a major upgrade. view ON AMAZON Your Roommate Does Not Want To Hear Your Midnight Podcast Pillow Speaker The Kinglucky X50 Pillow Speaker feels like a very specific little luxury item, but for the right person, it’s honestly pretty cool. If you like falling asleep to podcasts, audiobooks, white noise, or meditation tracks, sharing a hotel room can get awkward fast. The Kinglucky X50 Pillow Speaker slides underneath your pillow and sends sound upward toward your ear instead of blasting audio across the whole room. Pairing it with Bluetooth was incredibly simple during testing, and the built-in buttons made it easy to adjust volume or skip tracks in the dark. Pillow Speaker It also includes built-in white noise, rain sounds, and ocean audio if you don’t want to stay on your phone before bed. Sound quality was surprisingly solid for how thin and lightweight it is. Just keep in mind that placement matters. If it sits too close to the edge of the pillow, nearby sleepers may still hear it. This definitely falls into the “nice extra” category, but it made winding down at night feel much more relaxing. See why so many travelers are adding this to their nighttime setup. view ON AMAZON A comfortable Disney World hotel room can seriously change the tone of your entire vacation, especially during the exhausting summer months. These products won’t magically erase the Florida heat or make your feet hurt less after 25,000 steps, but they absolutely help your room feel calmer, cleaner, and more functional after a long park day. For weeks now, it’s felt like things are changing faster than ever in Disney World, but these past few days? That’s been taken to a WHOLE new level! Entrance crowds at Hollywood Studios For months now, we’ve known that May 26th would be a big day in the parks. Not only is it the start of Cool KIDS’ SUMMER, but Disney also set it as the opening date of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, the opening of Bluey’s Wild World, as well as the beginning of the new offerings available at The Walt Disney Studios, among MANY others. Imagine our surprise when, just in the past few days, Disney decided to open some of these new attractions EARLY, and we also got a first look sneak peek at others! Yep, this is the start of a VERY busy summer in Disney World, so if you’re visiting this season, you’ll want to keep a close eye on all the latest news. You won’t want to miss some of the latest and greatest additions! Soarin’ Across America Opens EARLY Soarin’ Across America was originally set to open in EPCOT on May 26th with the start of Cool KIDS’ SUMMER, but we knew we’d get a chance to ride the attraction earlier thanks to Cast Member previews. Additionally, Walt Disney World Annual Passholders were able to experience the ride with Annual Passholder Previews on May 19th and 20th. Then, it was expected that the ride would remain closed until the official May 26th opening. Soarin’ Across America However, that’s NOT what happened! Disney had those Annual Passholder previews as expected, but then decided to open the ride EARLY! When we walked up, the ride only had a 10-minute wait, and a Cast Member was sure to remind us that this was a soft opening. That means that the ride may not be up all day, and isn’t guaranteed to be available up until the official opening date on the 26th. We definitely still think it’s worth checking out, though! NEWS: Soarin’ Across America Has Opened EARLY at EPCOT New Adventures on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run Disney’s Hollywood Studios is also the home of tons of excitement right now, all across the park. In the span of one week, THREE sections of the park were planned to open, including the new adventures coming to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run in Galaxy’s Edge. Fortunately, this ride never had to close to the public to make these changes, which was a big win. The original debut date has always been today, May 22nd, and now, the new adventures are officially available! New missions on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run The new adventures are inspired by The Mandalorian and Grogu, the new film that just dropped in theaters today as well! We got a chance to get a sneak peek at the new adventures available two days prior to opening, and this debut didn’t open early, but that’s totally okay, because the day is already here. There are now three different storyline options the engineer can choose from, all of which involve being on a bounty hunt for three bounties — two imperial soldiers and a pirate. We absolutely love the new version of the ride and think it’s about to become even more popular than it already is, so pack your patience! FIRST LOOK at Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run Changes in Disney World FØØD by Swedish Chef Opens EARLY! While Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is still on track to open on time (not early) on May 26th, the new dining spot right nearby, FØØD by Swedish Chef, also opened early and is available to guests as you read this! FØØD by Swedish Chef This spot takes the place of the former KRNR The Rock Station dining location, but there’s an all-new menu to match the retheme. Now, you can snag items like the Wocka Wocking Nachos, the Churro Drumstick, the Mayhem Soft-serve Float, some Pink Le-moi-nade, and the Pond Water Limeade, along with classics like the Mini Corn Dog Nuggets that are still on the menu. Also available at this spot are: Chocolate Chip Cookies Assorted Chips Vanilla, Chocolate, or Swirl Waffle Cone Frozen Floats with Coca-Cola or Barq’s Root Beer Fountain Sodas Frozen Blue Raspberry (Also available with Bacardi Superior Rum or Tito’s Handmade Vodka) FULL REVIEW: We Tried EVERYTHING at the NEW Muppets Food Truck in Hollywood Studios Eeek! It’s not every day we get excited about chips in Disney World, unless, of course, it’s like the chips with Fish and Chips (which we LOVE) or those really cool and unique Lays flavors we often find at the Japan and China Pavilions in EPCOT. Metro Deli Chips No, we’re talking about regular old potato chips, the kind that usually come as a side with a lot of sandwiches, burgers, and hot dogs in Disney World or are available as just a snack. However, Disney’s Animal Kingdom just switched up its chips game, and well, it’s a HUGE improvement, and we need to talk about it. We were recently visiting Harame Fruit Market in Animal Kingdom and noticed something had changed with the chips options. We spotted Metro Deli chips. Now, we’ve actually seen these at other snack carts, too, so they’re becoming available throughout the park. Now, at Harambe Fruit Market, they’re still serving Lays if you get a hotdog, but you can now get any bag of chips for $3.29, including Metro Deli Sea Salt chips. Why is that game changing? Well, these are a larger bag of chips, so you get more, but the quality is also SO much better. Right beside the Doritos These chips taste like house-made chips, and they are consistently good. They’re the thick cut, kettle-cooked kind of chip with the PERFECT amount of salt. They also have a much more real potato flavor and, according to our reporter, “I hope I never have to eat a Lays chip in Disney World again now that I know this is possible.” We hope to see them EVERYWHERE So you can get a bigger bag of better chips for the same price, and that’s a win-win in our book! We’ll keep an eye out for more new snacks in Disney World, so stay tuned to DFB for more. Room service at most Disney World hotels has been gone for over five years now, since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, and at this time, there’s no sign it’ll return to the majority of hotels any time soon. Oh how we miss room service! That makes us sad, and it has been every day for the past 5+ years, but we have to admit that there is something out there that makes it…at least a little bit better. At select Disney World hotel table service restaurants, you may notice an option called “To-Go.” This means that, while it can’t be brought to your room, you are able to order a meal, go and pick it up, then bring it back to your room to enjoy instead of eating inside the restaurant. Is it really worth it, though? We found out for ourselves! During a recent stay at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, we hopped onto the My Disney Experience App and noticed that Steakhouse 71 had the To-Go option available for guests staying at the hotel. This was listed separately from the restaurant itself, as well as the Steakhouse 71 Lounge — it was listed in the app as “Steakhouse 71 To-Go.” This option is only available for restaurants that have the To-Go option listed! Steakhouse 71 We were able to select our preferred pickup time, and then we were able to scroll through the WHOLE menu to see what we wanted to eat. Yes, this doesn’t just give you a small selection of the menu — the majority of the menu is readily available for you to choose from, which we loved. This means we didn’t have to worry about getting a reservation, which can be hard for a restaurant with this level of popularity, but we still got to choose from the whole menu! The front of the menu! We ended up choosing the 10-oz New York Strip for $38, which comes with Charred Asparagus and Whipped Horseradish Cream. Once we had placed our order, we walked over from Bay Lake Tower when the app told us it was ready, then took the meal right back to our room. Eating fancy in our room! We felt the food was of equal quality to what we would get at the table. The steak was a well-cooked medium-rare NY strip, though we don’t feel it stood out particularly from a seasoning perspective (though the horseradish helped that). We thought the asparagus was a bit undercooked, but we did like how thick and hearty the spears were. A solid meal We also really enjoyed being able to eat in a Disney Vacation Club (DVC) room (shoutout to David’s Vacation Club Rentals for hosting us!), as it had a full kitchen, so we were able to plate the meal nicely. Even without that, though, we do feel like the meal came packaged well from the restaurant. Would we do it again? Absolutely, and we’re glad there’s something semi-familiar to room service offered, but we still really do hope it’ll come back someday. More Recent Disney Hotel News! I went to Disney World recently and walked 60 miles during my vacation. Yep, that’s right! 6-0 MILES. Cinderella Castle And you know what? I did that pregnant and with a toddler! Even after all that stepping, I felt GREAT at the end of the week, and I think it’s my packing list that saved me. That’s why I’m sharing my list of what I’d pack for Disney World again, after surviving 60 miles in one trip! DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. Get the best shoes for the job ©Amazon Starting off our list, I’ve got to talk about footwear! Many people on our team here at DFB are fans of these Hoka Women’s Clifton 10s. We’ve tested them in the parks again and again, and they’re cushioned, comfortable, and durable for long park days. Break them in before your trip, and you’ll be golden! view ON AMAZON This maternity set was my FAVE ©Amazon It can be SO hard to find comfy and cute theme park clothes when you’re pregnant, so this SweatyRocks Women’s Maternity 2 Piece Outfit was a lifesaver. It has three speeds and rotates 360 degrees, plus it comes with a flexible stand for stroller attachment. A great find for parents! view ON AMAZON Another great outfit option! ©Aerie Another thing I loved wearing during my trip was this OFFLINE By Aerie Real Me XTRA Halter Tank Top. It comes in a few different colors and is made of a lightweight, moisture-wicking fabric. view ON AERIE Don’t forget the matching pants! ©Aerie Aerie has some great sets available, and I liked these matching OFFLINE By Aerie Real Me XTRA High Waisted Capri pants to wear with the halter top. This OFFLINE By Aerie Real Me Low Key Longline Sports Bra. The longer hem provides more coverage and stays put with light support. If you visit the state of Florida, there’s WAY more to do than just visit Disney World and Universal Orlando. You can also visit SeaWorld Orlando, LEGOLAND Florida, Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay, and more! Welcome to Peppa Pig Theme Park If you have little ones, though, you might just want to skip all of those and head straight to Winter Haven and visit Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida. We recently had the opportunity to visit the new-ish theme park (it opened in 2022), and we were surprised at how much fun it was. So it’s pretty obvious that this theme park is targeted to young children, and as such, it’s basically a giant playground for preschool-aged kids. So let’s talk about everything you can do at Peppa Pig Theme Park. Rides Okay, first, we were surprised at just how many rides this theme park has. There are certainly enough to fill a day with, especially if you include other activities. Did we hop on many of these rides? Yes, we did! For science! Daddy’s Pig Roller Coaster was actually way more thrilling than we expected. There are two laps to it, and the forces are INTENSE. We actually got a little dizzy on it. In other words, your kids will love it. Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster Meanwhile, Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Adventure was a lot tamer (and for that, we were actually grateful). It’s chill, and there is barely any noise or music, so it’s also quiet. But kids will love the opportunity to ride a dinosaur (like who wouldn’t?). Let’s ride a dinosaur! Grandad’s Pirate Boat Ride spins in a circle and goes up and down over waves, and it goes a little faster than we expected. It’s also surprisingly fun and thrilling. Grandad’s Pirate Boat Ride The Fun Fair is a fairground adventure that includes some fun carnival games that everyone can participate in. We did the ducky game! We caught one! Other attractions you can experience here include: Mr. Bull’s High Striker George’s Fort Grandpa Pig’s Greenhouse Madame Gazelle’s Nature Trail Mr. Potato’s Showtime Arena Muddy Puddles Splash Pad Peppa’s Pedal Bike Tour and George’s Tricycle Trail Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride Peppa Pig’s Treehouse Pirate Island Sand Play Rebecca Rabbit’s Playground Cinema There’s so much to do! Entertainment There is a show, too, although we didn’t get to experience it. It’s called Peppa Pig Comes To Play, which is an interactive show with singing, dancing, and playing with Peppa. However, we did get to do a fun activity called the Pig Family Travel Adventure. You grab a passport, and the goal is to explore the park. Our Passport You go to five different stations that have cool themes. You’ll complete a puzzle, decorate the family in winter gear, etc. For each activity, you get a stamp. Getting our stamps After you collect all the stamps, you get a prize! Ours was Pop It Badge you can wear on your shirt. Our prize It’s a fun activity that just about anyone can enjoy. Note that it’s only available on select dates: May 23rd, 24th, 25th, 30th, 31st, and June 6th, 7th, 13th, 14th, 20th, 21st, 27th, and 28th. You’ll want to do this early in the day because as the day progresses, the lines for the activities gets longer. Shopping You’ll find one store in Peppa Pig Theme Park, Mr. Fox’s Shop. Here’s where you can buy a lot of fun souvenirs! Mr. Fox’s Shop We couldn’t resist the Peppa Pig ears headband! WE LOVE IT Your kids will certainly want to spend money here. Food Okay, let’s talk about food, which is pretty much what we live for. There is one restaurant, Miss Rabbit’s Diner. It’s one of the few spots you can grab some a/c in. Miss Rabbit’s Diner We got to try a few of the limited offerings available at the restaurant, including Adventure Dumplings. These kinda’ reminded us of Trader Joe’s dumplings, but not as soupy. The texture is chewy with juicy meat inside. You get a total of five, so it’s a pretty solid lunch. These are mild, so kids will probably appreciate them, too. Adventure Dumplings We also tried the Berry Creative Croissant available at the diner right now. It was bigger than we expected. It was a buttery, flaky croissant with a layer of Nutella, berries, and marshmallow fluff. We really loved the flavors, especially with the addition of marshmallow fluff. This one is both a kid and adult-pleasing snack. Berry Creative Croissant We also got to try the South Pole Snowballs from Mr. Potato’s Cart. This is Birthday Cake Dippin’ Dots, which is a wonderfully cold treat for a very hot day. It’s fun and you get a slight cake batter flavor. It’s also a lot of fun, and again, something that should please the whole family. South Pole Snowballs You’ll find a few more snack carts around the park, too. Now, we have a word of warning: it gets HOT in this park. Everything is out in the open, and there isn’t a lot of shade except for one outdoor seating area, a store, and an indoor restaurant. If you’re visiting this theme park, bring hats, portable fans, cooling towels, water bottles, and a lot of sunscreen. We’ll be covering more theme park news, so be sure to stay tuned to DFB for more.
