  1. It’s no secret that one of our favorite restaurants in Disney Springs is Homecomin‘ because, well, we talk about it a lot!’ Homecomin’ in Disney Springs The restaurant is known for its homestyle Southern dishes, like our grandmas made, including fried chicken, mac and cheese, and that not-to-be-missed hummingbird cake. But this restaurant also serves up some nice moonshine drinks, and if you know about the squeeze bottle hack, you can save money on these boozy drinks in the future. Well, now, there’s a squeezable bottle just for Disney World Annual Passholders. Homecomin’ now has a new special Annual Passholder-exclusive squeezable bottle that says, “If you need me, I’ll be in my happy place.” Now, if that isn’t the BEST bottle for Disney World, we don’t know what is. But this bottle comes with some benefits. First, you pay $24 for the bottle. Then you can get a refill of any of the restaurants’ on-tap moonshines for just $16. So this squeezable bottle can save you some money. Annual Passholder Squeeze Bottle This bottle is good for refills all summer long, and is available from June 1st through July 31st. You will need to show proof of your Annual Passholder membership, as well as a valid ID, to purchase. Not only do you get to enjoy discounted refills on moonshine, but it also makes for a nice souvenir! But seriously, what’s not to love about refillable on-the-go booze? 3. It’s crazy to think that Disneyland started its 70th Anniversary over a full year ago! The celebration brought tons of exclusive merchandise, food and beverages, and iconic shows. Out of everything to come, we’ve probably enjoyed the entertainment the most. Paint the Night Parade Lately, we’ve been trying to watch the shows as many times as we can as the party wraps up. Well, we can take a step back and breathe for a minute, because Disney just dropped some massive news that they’re extending these limited-time shows! We were thrilled to see that Disney will be extending two shows that returned for the 70th anniversary, and the extension is a pretty decent one. It will be tough to say goodbye, as it was when they left before coming back for the celebration, but we still have a little extra time with them to enjoy! Wondrous Journeys Wondrous Journeys, the nighttime fireworks spectacular, has been extended to August 20th for guests to enjoy before the spooky season begins! The show is a tribute to the classic movies of Walt Disney Animation Studios that inspired the first Disney theme park. This show is so cool! The show is displayed on Sleeping Beauty Castle, Main Street, U.S.A., the Rivers of America, and the façade of “it’s a small world”! It features projections and fireworks and tons of iconic Disney characters, including those from Moana, Frozen, The Lion King, Hercules, Peter Pan, Encanto, and more. The very last performance of Wondrous Journeys will be on August 20th at 9:30 PM. Wondrous Journeys The Paint The Night parade is a fan favorite, and one that we were beyond thrilled to see return for Disneyland’s 70th anniversary, which began May 14th. The parade truly “paints the night” with LED lights on a dazzling display of floats. The parade features characters from Frozen, Monsters, Inc., Toy Story, Beauty and the Beast, and more. The stars of the parade are Tinker Bell and Sorcerer Mickey. It’s truly iconic! Goofy and Donald The parade was originally planned to run until the end of the celebration on August 9th, 2026, the same as the fireworks show. However, this show will also be staying until August 20th! To catch the last performances, you’ll want to be there on August 20th at 8:45 PM and 10:45 PM. Paint the Night It sucks to say goodbye, but when one door closes, another door opens. As the two shows leave Disneyland, Disney California Adventure will see the return of World of Color – ONE. The show will be back for a limited time, beginning on August 10th through the Halloween season. We don’t know much else beyond that, so we’ll be keeping an eye out for more details! 4. Get ready, get set, go! Well, not just yet, because we’re actually about to look ahead to the future. We’re talking about the year 2027, which might seem like it’s really far away, but honestly, you know it will be here before you know it. runDisney merch That means you’ll soon have some all new runDisney events to attend in Disney World, and if you love to run, you’ll want to pay attention to announcements. Well, so far, we’ve had three BIG announcements for runDisney in 2027, and we’re rounding those up so you can stay updated. We also noticed that the style of the video was like the Mickey shorts we love so much, so that might be part of the concept for the marathon in January 2027. Princess Half Marathon Themes Disney also revealed the themes for the 2027 Princess Half Marathon races. The 5K is themed to Princess Tiana, the 10K is themed to Snow White, and the Half Marathon is themed to Princess Jasmine. For those who participate in all three races, the Disney Princess Fairy Tale Challenge is themed to Ariel. ©Disney We can also probably assume that these are the princesses who will be on the medals for each race, too. 5. We interrupt your regularly scheduled Disney merchandise restraint to bring you breaking news from Danville. Phineas and Ferb BoxLunch just dropped a new Phineas and Ferb Loungefly collection, and yes, Perry the Platypus is doing a lot of the heavy lifting here. Frankly, as he should. The man is a secret agent, a teal fashion icon, and somehow the least dramatic member of a cast that includes Dr. Doofenshmirtz. DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. This collection includes mini backpacks, a crossbody bag, a wallet, an organizer, and a cardholder, which means you can now build an entire accessory ecosystem around a platypus with a side hustle. We’re not saying that’s the most responsible financial decision you’ll make this week. We’re just saying it is extremely on-brand for anyone who still hears “there’s 104 days of summer vacation” and immediately locks in. As always, prices and availability can change fast, especially with Loungefly drops. So if something makes your inner Candace yell “MOM!” at full volume, don’t let it linger in your cart too long. Loungefly Disney Phineas & Ferb Characters Light-Up Mini Backpack This is the big “look at me, I brought the whole summer vacation agenda” bag of the collection. The Loungefly Disney Phineas & Ferb Characters Light-Up Mini Backpack features the gang front and center, with Phineas, Ferb, Candace, Isabella, and Perry all getting their moment. And yes, it lights up, because apparently a regular mini backpack was not chaotic enough for this particular group of children and their highly suspicious backyard engineering projects. ©BoxLunch This is the kind of Loungefly that makes sense if you want your park bag to have actual personality. It’s bright, nostalgic, and just weird enough to feel like it came with a blueprint and a liability waiver. This would be especially fun for EPCOT festival days, Disney Springs shopping trips, or any day when you want your outfit to quietly announce, “Yes, I remember the giant floating baby head, and no, I will not be explaining further.” view ON BOxlunch Disney Phineas and Ferb Perry the Platypus Mini Backpack Now this one is for the Perry people. The real selling point of the Disney Phineas and Ferb Perry the Platypus Mini Backpack is the magnetic removable costumes for Perry. That is not a sentence we expected to type professionally today, but here we are, and honestly? We’re better for it. ©BoxLunch This bag has Phineas and Ferb on the front, but Perry is the star. The teal color makes it instantly recognizable, and the removable costume detail gives it that extra collector-y sparkle that makes Loungefly fans suddenly start justifying shelf space like they’re negotiating a peace treaty. ©BoxLunch It also has a matching wallet sold separately, which is both helpful and dangerous. Matching sets are how they get us. One minute you’re buying the bag, the next minute your cart has developed a theme, a backstory, and a possible credit card grievance. view ON boxlunch Loungefly Disney Phineas & Ferb Perry the Platypus Pool Crossbody Bag Perry has clocked out. Agent P is unavailable. Please direct all evil-inator emergencies to someone not currently floating in a pool. The Loungefly Disney Phineas & Ferb Perry the Platypus Pool Crossbody Bag might be the funniest piece in this drop. It features Perry lounging on a pool float, wearing sunglasses, and giving big “I am not taking meetings today” energy. ©BoxLunch This one feels especially right for summer. It’s a crossbody bag, so it’s easier to carry if you don’t want a full backpack situation, and the pool float design makes it feel more like a novelty statement piece. Not subtle. Not trying to be. Very much a bag with a tiny vacation agenda. ©BoxLunch We could see this being adorable for Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, a Disney cruise, or a pool day where you still want to look like you put thought into your outfit, even though the main plan is “exist near water and snacks.” View on boxlunch Disney Phineas and Ferb Perry the Platypus Wallet A matching wallet? Naturally. The platypus economy is thriving. The Disney Phineas and Ferb Perry the Platypus Wallet is a BoxLunch Exclusive and the obvious companion to the Perry mini backpack. If you’re someone who likes your accessories to match, this is the part where your cart starts making little cartoon cash register noises. ©BoxLunch A character wallet is one of those sneaky practical purchases. You get the fun of the design, but it’s still something you’ll actually use. It can hold cards, cash, IDs, and whatever receipts you keep meaning to throw away but instead let multiply in the shadows. ©BoxLunch This is also a good option if you love the collection but aren’t ready to commit to a full bag. A wallet is a smaller buy-in, and it still lets you carry a little Perry around with you. Which feels wise. Every group needs someone keeping tabs on the nonsense. view ON boxlunch Disney Phineas & Ferb Perry the Platypus Allover Print Mini Backpack Organizer This is the sleeper hit of the drop. The Disney Phineas & Ferb Perry the Platypus Allover Print Mini Backpack Organizer is one of those things you don’t realize you need until your park bag becomes a black hole full of lip balm, receipts, portable chargers, sunglasses, and one rogue packet of Liquid I.V. that has somehow seen war. ©BoxLunch This organizer gives your smaller stuff a place to live. You can toss it inside a larger bag, use it to keep essentials together, or treat it as the tiny organizational assistant your chaotic Disney day desperately deserves. And because it has an allover Perry print, it still feels fun rather than aggressively practical. That’s the sweet spot. We love a useful item that doesn’t look like it was designed by someone who thinks “vacation” means beige packing cubes and a spreadsheet with conditional formatting. view ON boxlunch Loungefly Disney Phineas & Ferb Perry the Platypus & Dr. Doofenshmirtz Cardholder Finally, we have Perry and Doofenshmirtz together, which is only correct. The Loungefly Disney Phineas & Ferb Perry the Platypus & Dr. Doofenshmirtz Cardholder celebrates the most important rivalry in the Tri-State Area. Is it efficient to carry just a cardholder instead of a full wallet? Yes. Is it better when that cardholder involves a secret agent platypus and a deeply committed evil scientist with questionable follow-through? Also yes. ©BoxLunch A cardholder is especially useful for the parks if you travel light. You can keep your ID, a few cards, and maybe your room key handy without hauling your entire wallet around. It’s also a good add-on if you’re already buying one of the bags and want the tiniest possible piece of Doofenshmirtz drama in your pocket. Honestly, Disney could put Perry and Doof on a toaster cozy and we’d at least need to discuss it. view ON boxlunch Final Thoughts From the Tri-State Cart This new Phineas and Ferb Loungefly collection is a loud, teal, deeply nostalgic little treasure chest of summer energy. The light-up mini backpack is the big statement piece, the Perry mini backpack is the collector favorite, the pool crossbody is the vacation secret we didn’t know we needed, and the smaller accessories are perfect for anyone who wants to join the Perry party without committing to a full bag. ©BoxLunch Basically, BoxLunch looked at Disney fans and said, “What if we made your cart smell faintly of sunscreen, nostalgia, and poor impulse control?” Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney merchandise finds, park tips, food news, and all the little shopping temptations that somehow end up in our carts before we can say “curse you, Perry the Platypus! 8. Summer at Disney World is like a full-contact sport. Mickey at Port Orleans — Riverside for Cool Kids’ Summer Between the heat, the crowds, the afternoon storms, and the sheer number of miles you’ll log on your feet, the difference between a great trip and a miserable one often comes down to how prepared you are before you even step on the plane. If your last park day left you soaking wet, overheated, or desperately hunting for a wall outlet at 9 PM, this one’s for you. Here are five Amazon finds that Disney regulars are adding to their carts right now, and honestly, for good reason. DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. The Storm That Ruins Everything Is Not Going to Win This Time Frogg Toggs Poncho Florida summer afternoons have one setting: downpour. If you’ve ever stood under a bus stop awning in soaked clothes waiting out a storm that showed zero signs of stopping, you know exactly how fast a great day can turn. The FROGG TOGGS Ultra-Lite2 Rain Poncho is the kind of thing you forget is in your bag until you desperately need it. It folds into its own stuff sack, weighs just 9 ounces, and fits in the bottom of a park bag without adding bulk. The attached hood has cord locks, and side snaps help lock out serious rain, not just a drizzle. It’s waterproof, breathable, and the kind of item you’ll be very glad you didn’t skip. Grab one (or a couple for the family) before your trip. view ON AMAZON Your Phone Is About to Die, and You’re Still in Magic Kingdom Swapping out for free Nothing deflates a park day faster than watching your phone battery hit 10% with four hours left to go. The FuelRod USB-C Portable Charger Kit comes as a two-pack, charges via USB-C for faster top-offs, and includes adapters for most smart devices. The upgraded version delivers over 20% more power than the original, and a built-in LED indicator lets you know exactly how much juice you have left. The real kicker: if your FuelRod runs out, you can swap it for a fully charged one at any FuelRod kiosk, including locations in theme parks and airports. It fits in a pocket, and it genuinely solves the dead phone problem without requiring you to stand tethered to an outlet. view ON AMAZON This Is the Thing That Saves You at 2PM in Disney World JISULIFE Portable Neck Fan There is a very specific kind of misery that sets in around 2 PM on a 94-degree day in Tomorrowland when you’re waiting in a slow-moving line with no shade. The JISULIFE Portable Neck Fan wraps around your neck like a pair of headphones, sits hands-free, and blows air from 78 air outlets for consistent coverage. It runs on a 4000mAh battery for up to 16 hours depending on speed, has five speed settings, and operates at a noise level low enough that you can actually carry on a conversation. No blades means it’s safe for kids and adults alike, and it weighs just over nine ounces. It sounds a little silly until you’re the only person in line who’s not melting. view ON AMAZON The Hotel Room Outlet Situation Is a Whole Thing MultiCharger for MagicBand+ If you’ve stayed in a Disney Resort hotel, you already know: outlets are not in abundance. Getting four MagicBands, two phones, and a tablet all charged overnight feels like a logistics puzzle you shouldn’t have to solve on vacation. The MultiCharger for MagicBand+ was built specifically for this. It charges up to four MagicBand+ devices simultaneously from a single USB-A outlet, and it’s compact enough to fit in a sling bag or fanny pack during the day. Unlike generic USB hubs, it’s designed and tested to work with MagicBand+, and it’s CE certified so it won’t overheat during overnight charging. It also works with standard iPhone and Android charging cords, so it doubles as a general multi-device solution. This one’s worth having before you check in. view ON AMAZON Don’t Be the Person Who Forgets This Cooling towel Sweat-drenched and overheated is not a fun way to spend a day, and it sneaks up on you fast when you’re moving nonstop in the Florida heat. The Sukeen Cooling Towels come in a four-pack, activate instantly with just water and a snap, and stay cool for up to three hours depending on conditions. Each towel comes with a carabiner clip and a waterproof pouch so you can attach it to your bag and pull it out exactly when you need it. There are no chemicals involved in the cooling process, and the towels are fully reusable. They’re also lightweight enough that carrying all four doesn’t require any real sacrifice in bag space. view ON AMAZON A little prep goes a long way at Disney World, and sometimes the difference between surviving a summer park day and genuinely loving it comes down to a $15 item you almost didn’t order. 9. It’s time to start preparing for spooky season at the Disney parks! Oogie Boogie Bash 2025 Yes, it’s still summertime (technically not even summer yet — we’ve got to wait for June 21st for that to kick off officially), but those who’ve been to Disney for Halloween in the past know that preparations begin months ahead of time. And if you’re interested in going to Disneyland Resort to celebrate, you’ve got to mark June 18th on your calendar RIGHT NOW. June 18th is the day that tickets for Disney’s Oogie Boogie Bash go on sale to the general public. This is a highly-anticipated event that sells out every year…and sells out FAST. So if you want to get tickets, you need to be ready to go on the day that they drop! Maleficient at the Oogie Boogie Bash If you’re a Magic Key holder, you may be able to purchase your tickets early. A limited number of tickets become available for Inspire Magic Key holders on June 16th, and the rest of the Magic Key tiers can try to purchase from a limited number of tickets on June 17th. On the day tickets drop to the general public, they will be online no earlier than 9AM PT. Treat Bags! You know what that means? It means you want to set that alarm! Be online a few minutes before 9AM (Disney says the waiting room opens at 8:45AM), refreshing the Disneyland tickets webpage. Once tickets drop, you will likely be enterted into a virtual waiting room, and we’ve seen the queue get hours long in the past. Don’t panic! One good strategy is to have multiple members of your party trying on multiple devices at once — we’re talking phones, laptops, tablets all going to see which person gets through the waiting room first. Syndrome! Know exactly how many tickets you want to purchase before the day they go on sale, and have your form of payment ready. If you’re purchasing several, make sure that your credit or debit card doesn’t have a purchase limit that could cause problems. It’s also a good idea to have some backup dates in mind, in case your preferred date sells out before you make it through the queue. Oogie Boogie at Oogie Boogie Bash And of course, on the day the tickets drop, make sure you’re tuned in here at DFB, because we’ll be reporting on any issues with the process. We’ve seen glitches happen in the past where Disney had to pause ticket sales and resume them another day due to high demand, and if that happens, we’ll let you know ASAP so you can rearrange your plans. Some signs from 2024 So why on earth has this party been so popular? Well, it’s Disneyland Resort’s premier Halloween event and tickets are limited. It takes place on select nights from August 18th through October 31st, and it happens after California Adventure closes to regular guests, meaning you get to be in the park from 6PM-11PM, enjoying a spooky good time. Decor! There is event-exclusive entertainnent like the brand-new Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party, where you’ll be able to spot Haunted Mansion characters out and about in the streets. Another major draw are the treat trails, which allow you to go trick-or-treating in the park while spotting rare Disney Villains at the same time. It’s always fun to see which new villains join the trails each year. ©Disney We’ll be there when the party premieres to keep you in the loop with any new happenings, so subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on social media. 10. If you’re going to Disney World soon, you’ll want to double check and see if your hotel will be under construction during your stay! Let’s go to Pop Century! Disney World frequently plans refurbishments at the resorts, whether they’re updating the rooms, fixing up the pools, or renovating dining locations and shops. If you check the Disney World webpage for your hotel before your trip, you’ll be able to see if the resort is planning construction during your visit. And for those heading to Pop Century soon, you’ll be happy to know that some projects just wrapped up! First of all, refurbishment has been completed on the iconic Pop Century sign that stands at the back of Classic Hall, the resort’s main building. This is a photo spot for many folks during their vacation. The sign! During the refresh, the sign got a new coat of paint and some touch-ups to keep it looking bright and shiny. We see paint touch-ups in Disney World pretty frequently, so this is something you might encounter on your trip at your resort hotel. Backside The other big project that was ongoing at this resort is a refurbishment on the splash pad. The splash pad was closed for a little while to receive routine maintenance and get some touch-ups. Splash area This area is located near the main Hippy Dippy Pool and is great for littles who aren’t potty trained or who don’t swim well. We‘re glad to see it back open and looking fresh! Entrance near the Hippy Dippy Pool The only other planned refurbishment or closure at Pop Century currently is a closure of the Disney Skyliner from January 24th-30th, 2027. The Skyliner typically closes for a week each year in the winter to get some maintenance. During that time, complimentary bus service will be available from Pop Century to the spots that the Skyliner services. Skyliner Station at Disney’s Pop Century and Art of Animation Resorts Pop Century also recently got a major refurbishment inside Classic Hall with a redo of Everything Pop Shopping & Dining as well as new theming in the lobby. It was a bit controversial, as the resort removed the old-school shadow boxes that showed memorabilia through the decades. 12. We are getting HYPED for the new land coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios! ©Disney We recently got some major updates about Monstropolis, the new land themed to Monsters, Inc. Disney has revealed the backstory of the land and some of the offerings, including Harryhausen’s restaurant and The Glob Theater. But there’s still so much left to learn, and construction progress has been fascinating. Now, we’ve got a look to share behind those construction walls! Walt Disney Imagineering shared a new video on YouTube giving behind-the-scenes looks into a few ongoing projects, and it includes our first peek behind the construction walls of Monstropolis! The video mentions three different projects. Let’s dive into each one! Monstropolis Starting things out in Monstropolis, we see Disney Imagineer Scott Mallwitz standing in front of scaffolding in Hollywood Studios. He shares some of the backstory of the land that Disney recently revealed. ©Disney There are a few video clips that show different construction angles around the land. Many of the buildings are covered in tarps as materials are brought in and facade work is in progress. ©Disney Speaking of facades, we can see work being done on the former front of PizzeRizzo. Scaffolding is up around this building as workers transform the space to be more monster-like. ©Disney We also got a glimpse at the building that will house the new suspended roller coaster. The scale on the Monsters, Inc. building is MASSIVE — just look how tall it is compared to the people in the clip! ©Disney It looks as though much of the old pavement has been removed to make way for new landscaping. That’s usually one of the later things we see done on Disney projects. ©Disney Of course, Disney just confirmed that there will be a Harryhausen’s location in Monstropolis, along with several shops and other themed buildings. We can’t wait to see what all of this looks like with the Monsters, Inc.-inspired architecture. ©Disney If you’re just as hyped as we are for Harryhausen’s, check out our new t-shirt design on the DFB Store! We’ll definitely be wearing this one come opening day. Check out this t-shirt! But Monstropolis wasn’t the only thing we saw in the video! Get All the Details on Monstropolis Here! The Alice in Wonderland Playground Nearby in Hollywood Studios, The Walt Disney Studios is a new land taking over the old home of Animation Courtyard. The land itself is already open, but its feature attraction, The Magic of Disney Animation, is set to open later this summer. ©Disney Inside this new attraction will be a playground for littles inspired by Alice in Wonderland. We’ve been eagerly anticipating a peek at this playground ever since it was announced, and now we’ve got a look inside! ©Disney The pieces in the video clips have a very similar Mary Blair art style with that flat, hand-drawn animation look to them. Imagineer Perri Dinnerman gives a tour of some of the playground’s features. ©Disney There’s an interactive wall with decorative marbles… ©Disney …hand-painted clouds up in the sky… ©Disney …and they’ve even themed the building column supports! When this space was constructed originally, it was an office. Those support beams can’t just be removed, so they got creative with decorating them. This one is a tree! ©Disney Dinnerman noted that one of her favorite features was this piece that had yet to be installed — it allows you to paint the roses white or red! We can’t wait to find all the hidden nods to Alice in Wonderland here. ©Disney We’ll keep you updated with an opening date for this playground when Disney announces it. Get All the Details on the New Land Here! Goofy’s Touch Ups The other project shown in the video was more of a touch-up. This clip showcased the Goofy statue that resides on the Disney Magic cruise ship. He was recently removed to get a refresh on his paint job! ©Disney Once the job was complete during the Disney Magic’s dry dock, Goofy was reinstalled. It’s so neat to see how they perform maintenance on the cruise ships! ©Disney That’s a wrap on the updates that Imagineering shared today, but we’ll keep you in the loop with any more behind-the-scenes sneak peeks. 13. I’m a former Disney World Cast Member, and I feel pretty secure in saying I’m a Disney World expert. But one area I’m still learning is Disney Cruise Line, and some major things took me by surprise on my last sailing. Disney Wish I recently sailed on the Disney Wish, for the second time, and I’m still taken by surprise. As a former Cast Member, I expected the same level of Disney magic I was used to in the parks with incredible service and immersive details, but I didn’t expect the cruise experience to feel so completely different in the best ways possible. Whether you’re a first-time cruiser or a Disney Parks veteran considering your first sailing, here are seven things that genuinely shocked me onboard Disney Cruise Line. 1. Disney Cruises Are WAY More Relaxed Than the Parks One of the biggest surprises for me as a former Cast Member was just how easy a Disney Cruise felt compared to a Disney World vacation. In the parks, you’re constantly thinking about Lightning Lanes, Mobile Ordering, transportation timing, dining reservations, and trying to maximize every minute. On the ship, so much of that stress completely disappears. Your entertainment, meals, transportation, and hotel are all in one place, and there’s far less pressure to create a minute-by-minute plan before you arrive. Disney Wish What really shocked me was how flexible the experience felt once onboard. Didn’t book a lot of activities ahead of time? You’ll still find plenty to do. Want to change plans mid-day? Totally doable. Even dining feels easier because your rotational dining schedule is already assigned for you. As someone who spent years helping guests with intense park itineraries, it was refreshing to realize that on a Disney Cruise, you can truly relax and still have an incredible vacation. Disney Adventure 2. You Can Get Ice Cream Delivered to Dinner This felt like the ultimate Disney Cruise life hack. One night, we realized you can order a sundae from the ship’s speciality dessert shop and have it delivered directly to your rotational dining restaurant during dinner. It sounds ridiculous, and honestly, a little extra, but it’s absolutely magical. If you’re celebrating something special or just want to make dinner more fun for the kids, it’s worth stopping by your sweet shop on board to see if they can do it on your sailing. The Signature Sundae at Edna Á La Mode Sweets 3. You Barely Need Your Passport Once You’re Onboard Before my first Disney Cruise, I expected I would constantly need to carry around my passport. Surprisingly, once you board the ship for the first time, your Key to the World card becomes your entire life onboard. It works as your room key, payment method, identification, and boarding credential whenever you get on and off the ship at ports. For most sailings, your passport stays safely stored in your stateroom safe for nearly the entire trip. Castaway Cay That simplicity makes port days much less stressful. Instead of worrying about carrying important documents around beaches, pools, or excursions, you just scan your Key to the World card when exiting and reboarding. Of course, Disney still recommends bringing government-issued identification when going ashore in some destinations, and requirements can vary by itinerary, but overall, the process is much easier than many first-time cruisers expect. Ocean View Room on the Disney Treasure 4. The Ships Are Shockingly Clean I expected Disney ships to be nice, but I was genuinely surprised by how clean everything felt — especially on the newer ships. Disney has clearly invested heavily in sanitation and guest flow. You’ll notice touchless doors in many public areas, hand-washing stations outside buffet locations, constant cleaning throughout the day, and Cast Members regularly sanitizing high-touch surfaces. There are also trash cans everywhere, which somehow makes the entire ship feel tidier at all times. ‘Encanto’-themed Stateroom What stood out most was how proactive the crew is. Before entering buffet spaces, guests are encouraged to wash their hands, and the process is built into the experience in a way that doesn’t feel awkward. Even after several days at sea with thousands of guests onboard, the ships still feel polished and fresh. As a former Cast Member who’s seen Disney’s operational standards up close, I was impressed by how seriously cleanliness is prioritized onboard. Treasure Ship 5. The FREE Room Service Is Actually GOOD I assumed the complimentary room service would be basic at best — maybe a few snacks or forgettable sandwiches. Instead, I was shocked by how solid the food actually was. Disney Cruise Line offers 24-hour room service included in your cruise fare, and there are genuinely good options available. Things like Mickey ice cream bars, chicken tenders, sandwiches, cookies, breakfast items, and desserts became regular late-night staples for us. Cruise Chicken Tenders The convenience factor alone is incredible, especially after long port days or late-night shows. Many guests also use room service strategically for quick breakfasts before excursions. While gratuity for delivery is customary, the food itself is included, which still feels wild considering the quality and convenience. Cheers to your Disney cruise! 6. You Don’t Fully Know the Schedule Until You’re Onboard This was probably the most unexpected part of the experience for me. Before sailing, there is very little about the schedule you will know. Once you connect to the ship’s Wi-Fi and access the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, you’ll see the full daily schedule with character meet-and-greets, trivia, shows, deck parties, dining events, and surprise activities. ©Disney Cruise Line Because so much of the cruise experience revolves around the live onboard schedule, planning too aggressively ahead of time can actually be difficult. The app updates constantly throughout the sailing, and you’ll likely discover activities you never even knew existed before boarding. My advice? Don’t panic if you feel underprepared before embarkation day. Once you’re onboard and connected, everything suddenly starts making a lot more sense. Disney Adventure 7. An Early Boarding Group Changes EVERYTHING I cannot overstate how valuable an early boarding group is on a Disney Cruise. Getting on board earlier gives you several extra hours to explore the ship before the mandatory safety drill and sail-away rush begins. That extra time makes the entire embarkation day feel calmer and more enjoyable. Instead of immediately dealing with crowds, you can wander the decks, take photos, explore kids’ clubs, and get familiar with the ship layout while things are still relatively quiet. Disney Adventure Early boarding also gives you a huge advantage for practical things. You can grab lunch before lines get long, visit Guest Services with shorter waits, book spa appointments, register kids for programs, and even snag prime pool chairs before the ship fills up. Embarkation day can feel chaotic later in the afternoon, so having those extra hours upfront honestly changes the tone of the entire cruise. The best way to get an earlier boarding group is to check in right at midnight on the designated date for your sailing. 14. It’s been a year of construction at Disney World, and we’re not talking just about the four parks, but tons of Disney World Resort hotels as well! Treehouse Villa One of the projects we’ve been following in particular is over at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, which has some of Disney World’s most unique and cool hotel rooms, the Treehouse Villas! The villas are massive and can house a big party on vacation. That being said, Disney (and we) knew it was time for a renovation. Well, after some time of refurbishment, Disney Imagineering shared a look inside the NEW Treehouse Villas! Refurbishment work will continue to take place in phases at Saratoga Springs Resort, from now through late September 2026. This includes the refurbishments for the Treehouse Villas. 15. It all started innocently enough with some clouds in Taylor Swift’s newest video for “Opalite.” Then those clouds ended up showing off a countdown that quickly disappeared from the official Taylor Swift website. At that point, fans were 99.9 percent positive that a Taylor Swift and Toy Story collaboration was forthcoming. ©Taylor Swift Well, they were right because after Pixar teased the collaboration, an announcement was made that Swift would have a new song on the Toy Story soundtrack, “I Knew It, I Knew You.” Well, Pixar is still in its Taylor Swift era because it just posted something SO fun on social media, and Swifties will catch on to the references VERY quickly. Incredible, right? Now, this is probably not a tease or hint for anything, but let’s just say Swifties are hoping that it means even MORE Taylor Swift news is coming soon (we’re still waiting for Taylor’s version of the debut album, after all, and now that she’s returned to her country roots for the new Toy Story song…well…why not?). This is likely just a fun little tribute to the artist, and we are here for it. Meanwhile, we’re waiting for the release of “I Knew It, I Knew You,” which will be available on June 5th. So if you don’t hear from us when the single drops, we’re probably in a corner somewhere crying with the song on repeat. ©Taylor Swift Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney news. 16. Disney Cruise Line has once again been recognized by the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority with the 2025 Blue Circle Award, honoring the cruise line’s continued participation in the port’s voluntary EcoAction Program and commitment to operating responsibly. Michaela Whitaker, business support manager, and Heleane Fineberg, manager of port planning and operations, both from Disney Cruise Line, accept award from Cathy McLay, chair of the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority’s board of directors and Peter Xotta, president and CEO of the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority. The Blue Circle Award recognizes members of the shipping and cruise industries that demonstrate environmental leadership through practices that reduce emissions and environmental impact. Disney Cruise Line has earned the distinction 13 times, reflecting its continued efforts to meet environmental standards established by the Port of Vancouver. Using shore power, when available, remains a key part of Disney Cruise Line’s environmental efforts in Vancouver. By plugging into the port’s shoreside electric grid while docked, the Disney Wonder is able to shut down its engines, significantly reducing emissions while at port. Continued Operations in Vancouver As Disney Cruise Line’s presence in Vancouver grows, the company remains focused on working alongside the port to support responsible operations and environmental stewardship. In 2026, the Disney Magic will join the Disney Wonder in sailing to Alaska from Vancouver, marking the first time two Disney Cruise Line ships will operate in the region while continuing to prioritize sustainability at port. Commitment to Sustainability This latest recognition reflects Disney Cruise Line’s broader commitment to sustainable practices across its fleet and operations. Disney Cruise Line was ranked No. 7 on the 2026 Forbes Best Brands for Social Impact list, reflecting the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices. The recognition comes at a time of unprecedented expansion, with eight ships in the current fleet and five more planned by 2031, including the newly announced Disney Believe, which will launch next year. Disney Cruise Line has remained focused on minimizing its environmental impact as it continues to expand its fleet, advancing initiatives that reduce emissions, conserve energy, minimize waste and protect oceans and wildlife. 17. There has been a fun update for refillable mugs in Disney World! A new mug accessory! For Disney World, refillable mugs can be found at the Resort hotels, and you can purchase one to use for the length of your stay, or get one included per person with your Dining Plan. You’ll only be able to refill these mugs at the Disney Resorts, but if you drink a lot of soda or other fountain drinks, it can be worth the cost very quickly. One problem though — with many of the designs looking the same…how do you tell whose mug is whose? If your whole family ends up with the same refillable mug design, then Disney has created a solution to differentiate between cups — these new handle accessories! We spotted them at Everything Pop Shopping & Dining. The spread! They’re little character-themed inserts you can attach to the handle of your refillable mug, and there are several different designs so that each person in your party can have a different one. “Which mug is mine? Oh! It’s the one with Buzz Lightyear on the handle!” See how easy the problem was to solve? Buzz Lightyear handle accessory The downside? These little beauties cost $4.99 each, and that’s on top of the cost of your refillable mug (which are currently $22.99 a piece). So for a family of four, you could be spending an extra $20 just to customize your mugs. We got Jessie! But if your kid has a favorite character and you want to keep them from drinking out of your cup, this could be a helpful tool! When we stopped by, they had Jessie, Buzz, and Woody from Toy Story… Woody …Joy from Inside Out… It’s Joy! …and Mike and Sulley from Monsters, Inc. What other characters would you like to see them add? (Personally, I’m jonesing for Winnie the Pooh and friends or Lightning McQueen.) It’s Mike with one eye! We’ll keep you in the loop if we spot more of these or if there is any other refillable mug news! 18. Many things at Disney World are often in a state of flux, including the resort’s dining offerings. From ever-rotating menus and offers to a whole new dining plan tier coming in 2027, things are always changing. The Apple Cinnamon Cupcake Those changes can, in turn, often affect Disney World dining tips, sometimes even making them null and void. So if you’re heading to Disney World anytime soon, be wary that these once viable hacks are no longer usable. Dining Plan Credit Conversion There once was a time when guests who purchased Disney Dining plans could swap their credits; for example, they could exchange or convert a quick-service dining credit into snack credits if they were more interested in shopping for, say, some chocolate instead of a quick-service meal on a given day. However, this option is no longer available. Disney Dining Plan symbols As an answer from Plan Disney bluntly put it, “The current terms of the Disney Dining plans no longer allow for that. Your specific dining entitlements will vary with the type of Dining plan included in your vacation package reservation.” So, if you’re planning on booking a Disney Dining Plan for your next trip, you’ll want to stay up on all the latest rules and restrictions on credits. That’s why we created this Disney Dining Plan Guide! It walks you through how it actually works, which restaurants give you the best value, and how to make the most of every credit. Mobile Ordering Since Mobile Ordering became a major part of Disney World’s dining infrastructure in the last decade, the system has constantly been tweaked and changed over the years. For example, these days, guests generally can’t Mobile Order at Disney World hotels if they’re physically at one of the theme parks. So, say you’re in EPCOT, and you’ve decided to try Mobile Order at the Contemporary’s Contempo Cafe; you’ll get the proverbial “big red X” on the My Disney Experience App. ©Disney Of course, circling back to where we started, change is inevitable. There’s a chance that these defunct Disney tips may become usable again sometime in the future. 19. Don’t let this cruise planning mistake cost you money! Disney Magic Cruise Ship There are a lot of details that go into planning a vacation, from finding the best travel dates to booking flights. With so many logistics to juggle, it can be tempting to pay for everything up front — after all, that’s one less thing you have to remember, right? But if you’re planning a cruise vacation, you could be leaving some serious money on the table by paying in full right away! In many cases, when booking a cruise, passengers only need to pay a deposit to secure their booking, with the full payment due closer to the sailing date. Payment policies can vary by cruise line, length of cruise, and stateroom category. But, for reference, on Disney Cruise Line, full payment for non-concierge rooms is typically due 90 days before the sail date for cruises 5 nights or less, and 120 days before the sail date for cruises 6 nights or longer. The Disney Magic It might be tempting to pay off your cruise as soon as you have the money saved up, but there’s an important reason why it could be better for your budget to wait until your final payment date to pay in full. As with other travel categories, cruise prices can fluctuate over time. And if a lower fare pops up after you’ve already booked, you may be able to get your rate adjusted down — but it becomes far more complicated if you’ve already paid in full! The Disney Dream Again, policies can vary by cruise line, but on Disney Cruise Line, if a lower fare appears before your paid-in-full date, you can call Disney Cruise Line to cancel and rebook at the better rate. Disney Dream BUT, if you’ve already paid in full, the process gets much more complicated! Canceling after you’ve already paid in full could result in penalties, depending on how close it is to the sail date. In these cases, the fees for canceling and rebooking could outweigh any potential savings. By holding off on making your final payment until it’s due, you can keep your options open for taking advantage of savings if lower rates appear. 20. It’s officially happening! A new Monsters, Inc. land is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, bringing a brand new ride, new experiences, and SO much more to the park…and we are READY. ©Disney Disney has officially started to share TONS of news about the new land, including the most important thing of all…what restaurants will the new Monsters, Inc. land bring to Disney World? Because, as you know, we are ALL about the food. Well, we finally have an answer to that all-important question! Monsters, Inc. land is currently being built where Muppets Courtyard used to be (and the Muppets moved over to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets). Disney just confirmed that an all-new restaurant will be a part of the new land. ©Disney After speculation from looking at concept art and thinking about what makes the most sense from the Monsters, Inc. movie, Disney has FINALLY announced that Harryhausen’s is 100% coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. That’s right, we’ll be able to eat from the iconic sushi restaurant pulled straight from the movie. ©Pixar We thought that this could be coming to the new land, but to get confirmation that it officially is has us beyond excited. Disney hasn’t revealed much information on the restaurant other than the fact that it’s coming, but our minds can’t help but wander. What is the menu going to look like? Will there be really unique and weird dishes that only monsters would eat? Could there be an animatronic of the octopus chef? AHHHH, so many possibilities! ©Pixar Disney dropped more details around the land, and in that, we found a clue! Up at the top, it says “Page 8, Col. 15,” and 8/15 (August 15th) happens to be the day of the Disney Experiences Showcase at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. Coincidence? I think not! ©Disney Disney had some more information to share about the land as a whole, like confirmation that the Glob Theatre will be coming. The theatre will take over the building that held Muppet*Vision 3D, based on the concept art, but that’s all we know about that attraction so far. ©Disney Monstropolis will also include Disney’s first-ever suspended roller coaster based on the doors scene in the first Monsters, Inc. movie (yes, it’s all we ever wanted). It will also have a theatrical show of some type, although we still don’t have many details on that. ©Disney You know Disney World and Disney Imagineering are all about immersing guests into the story. You don’t just show up somewhere; there’s a reason you’re there. Whether you’re the size of a toy or exploring a galaxy far, far away. Well, Disney shared the story behind why you’re in Monstropolis. ©Disney For forever, Monstropolis’ power ran on screams from humans. That all changed when Boo visited the monster world, and monsters discovered how much better laugh power is and that humans weren’t toxic to monsters. That led to the creation of the Department of Human Relations in Monstropolis, and the idea that for the first time ever, humans and monsters could come together. ©Disney So, the Department of Human Relations has decided to create H.U.M.A.N Day, short for “Humans Understand Monsters Are Nice”. Part celebration, part cultural exchange, the event is designed to introduce humans to life inside Monstropolis while helping monsters discover that humans are not so frightening after all. ©Disney Now that we know Harryhausen’s is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we have to be rocking the right outfit when we visit the restaurant, and it’s this Harryhausen’s Adult Tee! Here at DFB, we put together the perfect t-shirt for Monsters, Inc. fans, which features the legendary dining spot and the octopus chef. Check out this t-shirt! The shirt is designed to be a slim fit, but you can always size up if you prefer a looser-fitting t-shirt. You can get it in many different colors, so there’s definitely a style for you! view at the Disney Food Blog Store YOU are invited to visit Monstropolis for the huge celebration, and we cannot wait! 21. Calling all Monsters Inc. fans! We have some exciting news to share. The Monstropolis construction has been underway for months, and we are so excited for the world of Mike and Sully to finally make its way to Hollywood Studios. ©Disney And if you have been waiting on the edge of your seat for more information on this major expansion, don’t worry! Disney has just released brand new details about this new Monsters, Inc. land, and we are here to break everything down for you. So without further ado let’s take a look at all these new details! This new land will include a show and a brand-new suspended roller coaster. This ride will take you through the iconic door scene as you race around. We know that everyone always dreamed of what it would be like to ride along on a door, and now we get to experience it! ©Disney Disney has now revealed the backstory of the land, saying, “Monstropolis — the monster city now powered by laughter — is getting ready to give humans a glimpse of what’s been hidden from their world for generations. Which raises an interesting question: if humans were never meant to enter the monster world … why are the doors finally opening to us?” ©Disney Turns out, the answer is in the paper! Get ready to celebrate H.U.M.A.N. Day, or “Humans Understand Monsters Are Nice” Day! After Mike and Sulley discovered that laughter powers better than screams, a city-wide shift began in Monstropolis. The way monsters viewed humans changed, and now, the Department of Human Relations has been formed to improve the relationship between the two groups! ©Disney The newly-established department is doing something that monsters originally never thought possible — inviting humans into the monster world for the first time. H.U.M.A.N. Day is about celebrating and sharing culture! “Human guests will have the chance to explore the city, meet its citizens, taste unique cuisine, and step into the everyday world of monsters in a totally new way. For the first time, two worlds once separated are meeting face to scaly, furry, and fang-filled face – brought together not by screams, but by laughter.” ©Disney Monstropolis is aiming to be the next human vacation destination! Disney says, “Storefronts line the streets, industries hum alongside everyday life, and every corner reflects the quirky, character-filled world fans fell in love with. And of course, it wouldn’t be Monstropolis without a few iconic stops along the way. Places like Harryhausen’s — yes, THAT legendary restaurant monsters line up for — and the Glob Theater help bring the city to life, adding even more personality, energy, and can’t-miss moments around every corner.” That’s right, we’ll be getting Harryhausen’s! And we can’t wait to check out the happenings inside The Glob. It’s going to be a blast! ©Disney Of course, before we go, we have to comment on one little Easter egg in the Monstropolis Horn. At the top of the page, it notes that menu news for Harryhausen’s and details about offerings at The Glob will be on page 8, column 15. Interestingly, 8/15 is one of the dates of D23 this year, when we’re expecting big news about the Disney Parks. So gear up folks, it looks like we know when the next round of announcements are coming! ©Disney These new details have made us even more excited than we already were to enter the world of Monstropolis! 22. For more than 15 years, we’ve covered food in the Disney theme parks. But during the past few years, other parks have been climbing the ladder to try and match Disney’s standard. CINNAMON BREAD! Of course, Disney isn’t just your standard amusement park fare — those who’ve dug deeper in the parks can see the critically acclaimed restaurants and fan-favorite snacks beyond just the Mickey pretzels and turkey legs. But as Disney raises the bar, we’ve seen other theme park giants, like Universal, step up their game as well. And now, the next big theme park food destination might be a spot that wasn’t even on your radar before. Theme park fans know what Disney and Universal bring to the game, but what about a theme park that’s a bit more under the radar, but still a longtime favorite for its fans? Yep, we’re talking about Dollywood, the pride and joy of Dolly Parton, located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Welcome to Dollywood! The park went through a few iterations before opening as Dollywood in 1986, and since then, it has made more than $110 million in expansions and earned the title of #1 theme park in the United States based on TripAdvisor ratings from visitors. It’s home to more than 50 rides and attractions, but what we’re here to discuss is the FOOD. Dollywood tickets Over the years, the park has had some iconic snacks. The Cinnamon Bread at Grist Mill has been a fan favorite for years, and the 25-pound Apple Pie at Spotlight Bakery has been considered a must-try by many. For years, the park’s food has focused heavily on Southern comforts, and it’s a niche they’ve served well. However, in recent years, they’ve really started to step up their food game. A slice of the pie! DFB’s founder AJ was recently invited to Dollywood for a media event, and after her visit, I got to chat with her about what they’re doing in terms of dining in the park. “This is quickly becoming the next food park destination,” she told me. Coming from someone who literally eats, rates, and talks about theme park food for a living, that’s a big claim. So what’s going on at Dollywood? Cinnamon Bread Dollywood has long been known for its festivals, offering The Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival for the first time in 1990 (six years before the Food & Wine Festival premiered at EPCOT) and adding The Barbecue & Bluegrass Festival in 2006. A few different events have come and gone in the decades since, but the lineup now includes six major events: The I Will Always Love You Festival, which started in 2023 and runs historically from mid-March to mid-April Barbecue & Bluegrass, highlighting music and barbecue, which runs from late April through mid-May The Flower and Food Festival, which started in 2021 and typically runs from mid-May to early June Summer Celebration, which was formerly known as Great American Summer Harvest Festival, including seasonal eats, which typically takes place in the fall Smoky Mountain Christmas, the park’s popular holiday season celebration Showstreet! Throughout the year, these festivals and events allow the chefs at Dollywood the opportunity to level up the culinary game and introduce new and exciting cuisines that step outside of the realm of what’s usually offered at the park. “They’ve got a cadre of chefs who are really focused in on raising the bar for theme park food in this particular location. They’re classically trained chefs — they are really smart guys and women — and they are doing a lot of really good work to sort of make sure that Dollywood brings its A-game when it comes to food in the park,” said AJ. Festival eats at Dollywood Not only do the festivals provide opportunities for new and exciting eats, but they’ve added new treats to the regular menus in recent months and years as well. “They are kind of kicking it up several more notches with these festivals and everyday regular cuisine that they have,” AJ noted. In this day and age of posting everything on social media, Dollywood is taking the initiative to make sure they can be counted among the big names in theme park food. “I think it’s not what people would expect necessarily when they go to Dollywood.” Lavender Dream Cupcake Just open social media to look for Dollywood snacks, and you’ll find video after video of folks reviewing eats on their trips and being pleasantly surprised by the food they’re trying. Food is a great motivator for many folks’ travels, and if your theme park can deliver cuisine that’s tempting and delicious, you can open the doors to entirely new demographics. The Braised Beef Potato Honestly, after our recent visit to Dollywood, we could put the theme park on par with the quality of dining available at many Universal parks. They’ve still got a little ways to go to compete with Disney’s award-winning signature restaurants and dining experiences run by James Beard Award-winning chefs, but they’re on the fast track over there. Dollywood could be at the top of the theme park food game before we know it. 23. Monstropolis is starting to take shape as construction continues at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World Resort! Steel rises behind the walls, new details emerge almost daily, and with every milestone, the world of Disney and Pixar’s Monsters, Inc. is roaring to life. Through a creative collaboration between Walt Disney Imagineering and Pixar Animation Studios, guests will finally be able to take in all the monstrous sights, tastes, and sounds of Sulley and Mike’s world. But this isn’t just a new land taking shape, it’s the beginning of a new story. Monstropolis — the monster city now powered by laughter — is getting ready to give humans a glimpse of what’s been hidden from their world for generations. Which raises an interesting question: if humans were never meant to enter the monster world … why are the doors finally opening to us? As it turns out, the answer is already making headlines in the city of Monstropolis. Through the pages of the Monstropolis Horn, the city’s official newspaper, monsters are talking about a “historic decision” that’s about to seriously mix things up for monster kind. A Laugh That Changed It All For generations, Monstropolis ran on fear, and not just because the monsters used screams to power their society: monsters were scared of us, too! Humans were seen as dangerous, toxic, and completely off-limits. I mean, who could forget the decontamination protocols for a 2319?! When James P. Sullivan and Mike Wazowski (you know, with one eye) discovered that human laughter generates far more power than screams, it didn’t just transform the energy crisis, it transformed Monstropolis itself. Fear gave way to curiosity. Caution gave way to connection. And for the first time, the doors separating the monster world from ours no longer felt like barriers. What started as a breakthrough inside Monsters, Inc. quickly became something much bigger: a citywide shift in how monsters viewed humans. Scales fell from their eyes – well, at least for the monsters with scales to shed. Enter: The Department of Human Relations As Monstropolis evolved, so did its connection with the human world. You may have heard of the HR department, but you haven’t heard of this HR department … that’s right, I’m talking about the Department of Human Relations. This new team established by the city has been tasked with sinking their teeth – and in some cases, their very BIG teeth – into helping monsters better understand humans as welcomed guests. The newly instated department has been spearheading a moment that was once thought impossible: inviting humans into Monstropolis for the very first time. And that invitation has a name. H.U.M.A.N. Day: A Celebration with a Purpose H.U.M.A.N. Day, short for “Humans Understand Monsters Are Nice,” marks a historic milestone for the city. Part celebration, part cultural exchange, the event is designed to introduce humans to life inside Monstropolis while helping monsters discover that humans are not so frightening after all. Now that’s something to snarl – ahem, smile about! Human guests will have the chance to explore the city, meet its citizens, taste unique cuisine, and step into the everyday world of monsters in a totally new way. For the first time, two worlds once separated are meeting face to scaly, furry, and fang-filled face – brought together not by screams, but by laughter. Exploring the Streets of Monstropolis As more of Monstropolis comes into view, one thing is clear: move over, cities of the human world! Monstropolis is going to be the next big vacation destination! Storefronts line the streets, industries hum alongside everyday life, and every corner reflects the quirky, character-filled world fans fell in love with. And of course, it wouldn’t be Monstropolis without a few iconic stops along the way. Places like Harryhausen’s — yes, THAT legendary restaurant monsters line up for — and the Glob Theater help bring the city to life, adding even more personality, energy, and can’t-miss moments around every corner. There’s still plenty more to uncover, so keep an eye or two (or six or eight!) on the Disney Parks Blog for more details as Monstropolis gets ready to roll out the welcome mat on H.U.M.A.N. Day.
