  1. Disney Genie+ just hit its record-high holiday price in Disney World, days before Christmas. Disney Genie The skip-the-line service fluctuates in price based on expected crowd levels, so during particularly busy times like the holidays, you can expect pretty high prices! Today, it’s at the highest price we’ve seen yet. Disney Genie+ is the paid service that allows you to reserve Lightning Lanes at certain Disney World attractions, so you get to skip the line when you return for your reservation. It’s the “new” version of FastPass. A recent change made it so that the price of Genie+ is based on which park you intend to use it in. For example, the cost to buy Genie+ for Magic Kingdom is more expensive than if you buy it for Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Previously, it was just one daily price. Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom The price also fluctuates based on expected crowd levels in the parks. Around busier times, we see the price go up. And right now DEFINITELY counts as a busier time! Magic Kingdom crowds The holidays are some of the most crowded days in the Disney World parks as people plan their vacations around holiday breaks and special events. With the influx of people comes price increases for Genie+! Crowds Today, December 22nd, Genie+ costs $35 for multi-park, $35 for Magic Kingdom, $28 for EPCOT, $32 for Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and $25 for Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This is the highest price we’ve seen since Thanksgiving! ©Disney In fact, the only time we’ve seen this high of a price since Genie+ changed to park-based pricing has been November 20th, 21st, 23rd, and 24th. Genie+ will likely continue to have these high prices throughout the holiday season, possibly through New Year’s. Genie Some of the most popular rides in Disney World are not part of Disney Genie+. In order to skip the lines at these popular coasters, you must purchase an Individual Lightning Lane. Prices for those Individual Lightning Lanes also fluctuate based on demand, and today they’re pretty high. Here’s a look at all of those prices today: Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance — $25 Seven Dwarfs Mine Train — $12 TRON Lightcycle / Run — $20 Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind — $17 Avatar Flight of Passage — SOLD OUT Flight of Passage in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is almost always the first Individual Lightning Lane to sell out, so we recommend buying that one ASAP if you want to skip the line there. If you’re staying at a Disney World hotel, you can buy Individual Lightning Lanes starting at 7AM each day. If you’re staying off-site, you can buy them starting when the park opens. Flight of Passage Note that, for two of those popular roller coasters, NO standby line is available. For TRON Lightcycle / Run and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, you must either join the virtual queue (for free) or purchase an Individual Lightning Lane. Click here to learn how to use virtual queues in Disney World. If you’re going to Disney World this holiday season, make sure you plan for the crowds! It’s a good idea to consider buying Genie+ so that you save time by avoiding those long standby lines. Also, be sure to be at the theme parks early (at least a half hour before opening time) so that you can be one of the first people in line for popular attractions! Magic Kingdom Entrance There are tons of fun things to do in Disney World for the holidays, like snacking at the food booths at the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, checking out gingerbread displays at Disney World hotels, and watching Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, which runs at 12PM and 3PM from December 23rd through the 29th in Magic Kingdom. 7. Joyeux Noël, Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays to those that celebrate. The Disney Parks are some of the BEST places to celebrate. The holiday season is a wonderful time at the Disney Parks, as they’re full of festive decorations, delicious treats, ride overlays, and special events. The holiday fun isn’t limited to the United States, though — Disney Parks around the globe are in on the celebrations as well! In fact, Disneyland Paris is doing something extra special this holiday season! Disneyland Paris has made a commitment towards environmental conservation this year and, in doing so, has chosen to use sustainable trees to decorate the park during the Christmas season. These sustainable trees will continue to grow each season thanks to a collaboration with a local nursery, the Pépinière du Val d’Yerres. The Disneyland Paris teams responsible for the Christmas season discussed working with what they call “living” trees. Further, they wanted to incorporate both the entertainment and horticulture sectors of the resort to be involved. After years of planning, they eventually turned to Pépinière du Val d’Yerres (which is based in Seine et Marne) in an effort to create a specific process to allow the dream of having live Christmas trees in the park to become a reality. ©Disney Per Disney, the process is centered around “an anti-bun plant container, which allows the trees to continue growing without having to be cut down.” The sustainability efforts are very on-brand for Disney, and this process reminds us a lot of the efforts behind Living with the Land at EPCOT in Disney World. ©Disney Each of the 80 natural Christmas trees that were installed this year inside the Disneyland Paris theme park will continue to grow until the end of the season. Once the trees are removed, they will continue to grow and gain strength within the anti-bun plant containers and eventually return bigger and stronger next year. ©Disney Wow! We think this is awesome, and now, we’re dreaming of a Parisian Christmas. 8. Disney World may be “The Most Magical Place On Earth,” but that doesn’t always mean it’s a great time of year to visit the resort. Magic Kingdom crowds Despite being one of our favorite places on the planet, there are actually a few days we advise AGAINST going to Disney World. Whether due to the time of year or due to price increases, there are days when being at Disney World can be — well — a headache. We’re here to tell you about an event coming to Disney World in 2024 that was just announced — let’s talk about it! Events can bring crowds, and Disney World just announced a big one: the return of the Department of Defense (DoD) Warrior Games in 2024. The games are scheduled to take place between June 21st through the 30th at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Disney World. If you’re hoping to avoid crowds in Disney World, you may want to keep these dates off your list of possibilities. The DoD Warrior Games are BACK at Disney World The DoD Warrior Games are excellent adaptive sports competitions first held in 2010 and have become an annual event. Now celebrating its 14th anniversary, The Games celebrate “resiliency and dedication of wounded, ill, and injured active duty and veteran U.S. military service members.” Representatives will include men and women from the U.S. Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, Space Force, and U.S. Special Operations Command. ESPN Wide World of Sports Adaptive sports, per the DoD, “provide reconditioning activities and competitive athletic opportunities to all wounded, ill, and injured service members to improve their physical and mental wellness throughout the continuum of recovery and transition.” Athletes use modified equipment and compete in sports, including archery, cycling, indoor rowing, powerlifting, shooting, sitting volleyball, swimming, track, field, wheelchair basketball, and wheelchair rugby. ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex If this sounds like an event you would like to attend, you can get more information by clicking HERE. Otherwise, you may need to anticipate more crowds between June 21st and 30th, 2024. Until then, stay tuned here at DFB for all the latest Disney World news! 10. Welcome, foolish mortals, to the Haunted Mansion. Our tour begins here in this gallery– where we found a Haunted Mansion-themed coffee! Haunted Mansion Sorry, we didn’t mean to frighten you and make you think we were possessed by the ghost host, but we couldn’t help ourselves. The Haunted Mansion-themed coffee we found just put us in a silly spooky mood… but now we need to tell you about it because the sound of it has us drooling. We were scrolling through Instagram earlier (as we do), and something that came across our feed caught our eyes. We saw an advertisement for Haunted Mansion-themed coffee from Bones Coffee Company, and the brew they came up with for this sounds so good that we heard the hatbox ghost finally materialized at Magic Kingdom to try to get his hands on some. ©Bones Coffee Company This coffee is named “Brownie from Beyond” and features a rich brownie taste with hints of caramel. If that doesn’t sound like a dream, we don’t know what does. You can purchase it pre-ground, or you can order a bag of the coffee beans and grind them yourself — the choice is up to you! ©Bones Coffee Company If you’re interested, look alive and visit the Bones Coffee Company website. If you’re lucky, a sale might materialize before checkout. There he is! We love finding different snacks inspired by Disney movies, attractions, and characters — especially outside the parks! 11. Disney’s Candlelight Processional has been a long-standing tradition at both Disneyland and Disney World. @DisneyAulani Disney’s Candlelight Processional is a fan-favorite nighttime show where folks will tune in as a celebrity narrator shares a biblical retelling of the Christmas Story alongside a choir of Cast Members. A Disney Resort has its very own version of Candlelight Processional, and y’all — we want to go SO BAD. Cast Members at Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii started off December with a brand-new show called “He Mo‘olelo Hemolele: A Story of Faith, Hope & Aloha.” This new show drew inspiration from Disney’s Candlelight Processional tradition but added a few Hawaiian cultural twists like hula, chants, storytelling, and songs with the help of Aulani Cast Members and volunteers. ©Disney Aulani Entertainment Cast Member Charles Timtim said, “Being involved in ‘He Mo’olelo Hemolele’ has filled me with a sense of pride in our mo‘olelo (stories), mele (music), leo (voices), and hula (dance) that is shared with our guests from around the world, and now they can experience the holiday season from a distinctly Hawaiian view.” ©Disney While this year’s showings have already concluded, there are still plenty of ways to celebrate. Throughout the resort, you’ll find holiday decor and activities, and even things like hotel carolers, a giant Mickey sugar cookie, and, of course — you can venture out to Ko Olina beach and lagoon. ©Disney With all of these unique offerings, it’s a great way to start new Disney holiday traditions and memories with your loved ones. 12. Planning a Disney World vacation takes a lot of work these days. Disney’s Hollywood Studios Between dining reservations, Lightning Lane selections, hotel choices, and more, it can be a lot. And, when you consider that your favorite ride may just fall victim to a closure — things can get dicey real quick. An iconic Hollywood Studios ride is closing in early 2024 and we’re sharing everything we know. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in Hollywood Studios is a fun, fast-paced coaster that features music by Aerosmith. But, beginning on January 8th, 2024, it will be closed for what may end up being a lengthy refurbishment. Right now, the Disney World website shows that the closure will last as far as the calendar goes, and we haven’t heard any sort of official announcements for a reopening date. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster It’s pretty likely that the closure will end up lasting much longer — because that’s precisely what we’ve seen in the past. Earlier this year the ride was closed for refurbishment for nearly three full months. You might be asking yourself why the ride would need a refurbishment so soon after the one that took place earlier this year, and that’s an excellent question. Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster has infamously broken down for several days in a row in the past, so during the closure earlier in 2023, we actually asked a Cast Member about this. They told us that the ride hadn’t had a full refurbishment since the parks reopened in 2020. Apparently, there is still more work to be done since Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster will be closing again in January. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster closed If the 2023 timeline is any indication, we could see the ride remain closed through early April — that would be right around three months from January 8th. When Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster did reopen in 2023, it did so without warning — which came as a shock to everyone. It’s possible Disney World could choose to surprise us yet again with another stealth reopening, but we’ll be keeping an eye on the website and calendar for any potential updates. 14. Celebrities are just like us, really, and that means some of them are Disney fans. ©Disney We’ve seen lots of celebrities in Disney World over the years, including this year, so we’d do a quick recap of the most surprising celebrities we’ve seen in Disney World in 2023! Kevin Smith Just a few days ago, we spotted Kevin Smith in Disney’s Contemporary Resort! It’s Kevin Smith! Kevin Smith is an American director, writer, actor, and more who is most known for writing, directing, producing, and acting in the 1994 buddy comedy film Clerks. Chrissy Metz & Julianne Hough We spotted both Chrissy Metz (best known for her work on This Is Us) and Julianne Hough, a gifted actor, singer, and dancer (you may have seen her in Footloose, Rock of Ages, or Dancing With The Stars). It’s Chrissy Metz! Both of these talented ladies were in Disney World filming the Disney Christmas special, which we can’t wait to see. Julianne Hough! We’re always excited to see filming in Disney World, but we understand that it’s important to not get in the way and interrupt filming, and encourage you to do the same! Kevin Jonas One of the biggest celebrities we spotted in Disney World this year was none other than Kevin Jonas from the Jonas Brothers! Kevin Jonas! This sighting happened back in May and specifically took place in Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe in Magic Kingdom. Hey — we love those chicken strips too! Serena Williams Serena Williams (yes, the tennis extraordinaire!) also visited Disney World with her family this year! ©Disney It was so great to see photos of her and her family having so much fun in the parks, just like we do! ©Disney If you see a celebrity in Disney, what should you do? Well, it’s ultimately up to you, but it’s important to recognize the scene around them. Are they trying to avoid attention from others or just trying to spend time with their family? If so, it may be best to leave them to their day and not interrupt. But if you really would love to interact, then politely asking for a photo quietly may be your best move, but remember that they always reserve the right to say no! 15. Everyone knows that the stress of traveling and flying can cause some headaches. Orlando International Airport Traveling isn’t always fun, especially at airports. Navigating rideshare services to pick you up can be pretty frustrating, and if you are parking your car, that comes at a cost. There can be delays or flight cancelations. Not to mention the LONG security lines for TSA. However, in the future, security might look very different, and it’s already starting at one U.S. airport. In January, select passengers at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas will begin testing a new self-service screening system from the Transportation Security Administration. According to the Washington Post, the setup will be like using self-checkout at the grocery store, but now, travelers will scan their own identification and carry-on bags instead of grocery items. You want to avoid this at the Orlando International Airport This process will allow PreCheck passengers to complete the screening process with minimal to no assistance from an airport employee. According to TSA’s website, “TSA PreCheck is an expedited screening program that makes risk assessments about passengers prior to their arrival at an airport checkpoint. TSA PreCheck enhances aviation security and provides a better travel experience. The program has expanded to approximately 200 airports across the country and millions of passengers have enjoyed the benefits of this program since its inception.” Future airport screening concept design from 2015. Photo credit: S&T. “The joint effort is focused on transformative research and development to increase security effectiveness and reduce checkpoint wait times, benefiting both passengers and TSOs,” Dr. Fortune, Screening at Speed Program Manager, said. “The passenger self-service screening technology aims to keep travelers and TSOs safer by minimizing person-to-person contact, reducing the number of bags TSOs have to pick up and move around, and allowing passengers to proceed at their own pace.” Orlando International Airport Additionally, a company called Micro-X is developing a pod-based design for passengers to use individual screening consoles consisting of a compact carry-on screening system and a flat panel passenger screening capability. The system provides feedback to the passenger if additional screening is needed. A second Micro-X effort includes developing a small Computed Tomography (CT) X-ray system for a compact carry-on and personal item self-screening solution. Micro-X self-screening pod concept design. Photo credit: Micro-X. TSA will also be giving the public a virtual reality walkthrough of the Micro-X self-screening system at their booths at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January, according to the Washington Post. While this is only being tested in one airport, we hope more will come in the future. This could cut down those long TSA lines at airports. 16. With the holidays kicking into full gear, that means the holiday crowds are, too! Frontier Plane at the Orlando Airport We’ve been keeping an eye on the crowds throughout the Disney parks, but there is another place that we like to check in on every once in a while to see what the crowds are like — and that is the Orlando International Airport (MCO). If you’ve ever flown to Disney World, you’ve probably visited this airport and maybe even heard about the nightmare it can be when it comes to crowds (we’re looking at you, TSA line). We’re sorry to tell you, but the holiday crowds aren’t projected to be any better this year. According to a press release that was put out by MCO, they are expecting 3.9 million passengers to travel in and out of the airport during the 23-day Christmas and New Year’s travel period (December 16th to January 7th). That means they’re expecting a 3.9% increase compared to 2022. ©Orlandoairports.net On December 30th, the airport projects that it will be the busiest day of the season — serving over 187,000 passengers. That is A LOT of people! If you’re planning on flying into or out of MCO, plan accordingly so you don’t miss your flight. Orlando International Airport How can you plan accordingly? Let us tell you! Orlando Airport Make sure you check into your flight 24 hours before your takeoff time — the airline app should remind you to do this! Then, you will receive your boarding pass, seat assignments, etc. Make sure you arrive at the airport at least 3 hours early, especially if you’re planning to check a bag; those lines can get long! Orlando International Airport’s Terminal C Once you check your bags, head to the security checkpoint for your designated airport terminal. These lines can be super long, especially during the holidays. Don’t forget to check out the TSA wait times on the airport website! After security, head to your gate (you know, to verify that it exists). After that, feel free to roam around the terminal until your boarding time! Spirit Airlines at Orlando Airport Parking can sometimes be hard to come by at MCO, so make sure you account for that in your plans if you’re leaving your car at the airport. MCO recently opened three new parking lots that created more than 2,000 new parking spaces, so hopefully, it’ll be easier to find a spot this year! Up, up, and away! We know traveling around the holidays can be stressful. Make sure you prepare for your trips to the airport accordingly — especially if you’re visiting major airports! 19. One of the BEST parts about visiting a Disney Park is the entertainment. Disneyland In particular, the nighttime spectaculars can be POPULAR among Disney fans. Yep, we’re pretty sure these shows have their own cult followings. (We may or may not be part of them.) Anyway, some of the BEST shows can be found over on the West Coast — at Disneyland! Some beloved nighttime shows are returning in 2024 for a very limited time, and you’re NOT gonna want to miss it. Disney shared on Instagram that not one, not two, but THREE iconic shows will return to Disneyland in 2024. First up, the Magic Happens Parade will return on February 2nd, 2024. This iconic parade is filled with beloved characters and amazing costumes and decor. It disappears periodically, so we’re always stoked when it returns. ©Disney Next up, Mickey’s Magic Mix will return from January 8th to March 21st, and will take a brief hiatus before a second run from April 15th through 25th, 2024. This show is primarily shown throughout the summertime and features fireworks, projections, and lasers. ©Disney Lastly, Wondrous Journeys will RETURN from March 22nd through April 14th, 2023. Wondrous Journeys first debuted earlier this year in honor of the 100th Anniversary, but disappeared for holiday shows around Halloween. Now, you’ll be able to catch it again if you missed it! ©Disney WOW! Lots of big entertainment news! Disney also shared that all of this would be before Together Forever — A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular returns on April 26th as part of Pixar Fest. 20. There is so much to see and do in Disney Springs, but did you know you can see an incredible show as well? Cirque du Soliel Yes, there are lots of restaurants to dine in and stores to shop at in Disney Springs, but you can also buy a ticket to see Cirque Du Soleil perform a breathtaking show right on Disney property. But if you’ve seen the show before, the ending will look a little different to you now! To celebrate their two-year anniversary, Cirque Du Soleil: Drawn To Life has added a new finale to their show! This new finale honors the heart of the show, which is the relationship between father and daughter. ©Cirque Du Soleil The new finale features a swing-to-swing act where performers soar across the stage, performing stunts and choreography and ultimately telling the end of the story between Julie and her father, a Disney animator. Julie finishes the lines of animation started by her father, completing their journey together. ©Cirque Du Soleil The family-friendly show also brings elements of Disney’s 100-year history of animation and storytelling, all wrapped up into one show with astonishing stunts and acrobatics. You can see the show Wednesdays through Saturdays at 5:30PM and 8PM, and Sundays at 1:30PM and 4PM. ©Cirque Du Soleil As always, stay tuned to DFB for all the latest Disney news! 21. Doesn’t it seem like something new is always popping up in Disney World? Cinderella’s Castle In order for all this change to happen, we sometimes have to say goodbye to some of our favorite attractions, shops, and even restaurants. Over the past couple of years in particular, though, there have been a few attractions that have had permanent closures. Let’s talk about it! These 12 Disney World attractions have been permanently closed in Disney World. Magic Kingdom Dreamflight (1989-1998): Eventually the ride was reworked into Delta Dreamflight and later Disney’s Take Flight, both of which were thematically similar. In 1998, the attraction would be retimed entirely into Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. @Disney_Timeline on X ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter (1995-2003): Arguably the most legendary closed Disney attraction, Alien Encounter’s terrifying close encounter with a violent extraterrestrial still gives nightmares to those who experienced it. It had been replaced by Stitch’s Great Escape, which closed in 2018! Now it sits closed awaiting further news about what might replace it. Alien Encounter ©Disney Splash Mountain (1992-2023): It permanently closed on January 23rd, 2023. Fans of log rides and great Disney animated movies need not worry, however, as it is being replaced by Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in late 2024. Disneyland Splash Mountain on Its Final Day of Operation EPCOT Captain EO (1986-1998, 2010-2015): “Captain EO” starred Micheal Jackson and was written by George Lucas and directed by Francis Ford Coppola. It used 3-D and multisensory effects. “Captain EO” first closed in 1998, but Disney brought it back in 2010 for another short run after Jackson’s death. Now it’s the home of the Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival. ©Disney This lived in Disney World. Be jealous if you missed out! Journey Into Imagination (1983-1998): The beloved dark ride that detailed the Dreamfinder and Figment’s tour of the concept of imagination remains so beloved and merchandised — that it’s hard to believe its replacement, Journey Into Imagination With Figment, has been around longer than the original. ©Disney Maelstrom (1988-2014): This ride was quirky, but beloved by many. We still feel wistful nostalgia from remembering its trolls, Vikings, and near-backward drop. It was closed to make way for Frozen Ever After in 2014. ©Disney Universe of Energy (1982-2017): The Universe of Energy, both in its original and Ellen-infused 1990s retheme was a controversial attraction amongst EPCOT fans. Many loved it, especially thanks to its animatronic dinosaur segment, while others found it overly long and tedious. Either way, the attraction closed in 2017 to make way for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Universe of Energy World of Motion (1982-1996): This whimsical, animatronic-packed journey through the history of transportation was an opening day staple of EPCOT Center, and remained so for nearly 15 years. It closed for Test Track after sponsor General Motors requested a new thrilling and product-centric attraction as a condition of renewing. Disney recently announced that Test Track will be getting a re-imagining sometime soon — and they said we can expect some throwback to World of Motion in the new ride! ©Disney Animal Kingdom Primeval Whirl (2002-2020): Primeval Whirl is another attraction on our list that’s quite controversial. Those who didn’t enjoy it saw it simply as an “off-the-shelf” carnival ride, while its fans passionately defend it as one of Walt Disney World’s most fun attractions. Since its closure, there have been a lot of rumors and Blue Sky concept art of what could potentially replace it, however, there has been no definitive announcement of what will be taking its place. Primeval Whirl We do know that the land in which it was located — Dinoland U.S.A. — is being replaced with a new land based on the Tropical Americas, but Disney has not announced many specifics or a timeline for this change. Hollywood Studios The Great Movie Ride (1989-2017): It was the former centerpiece of Hollywood Studios, this massive attraction used screens, scale sets, live performers, and hundreds of animatronics to take riders into their favorite films. It was closed to make way for Mickey and Minnie’s Runway Railway. Dining inside the Great Movie Ride! Studio Backlot Tour (1989-2014): When the then-Disney/MGM Studios was built, it was supposed to be more film studio than a theme park, with the Backlot Tour serving as its main attraction. Once the studio work dried up, however, the Tour was continuously cut down to the point that the version that closed in 2014 was nearly unrecognizable from its original incarnation. It was closed in 2014 to make way for Toy Story Land. Hollywood Studios’ Backlot Tour Voyage of the Little Mermaid is permanently closed in Disney World. We had suspected this was the case for some time, but Disney’s latest announcement about a new show coming to the space means it’s true. Voyage of the Little Mermaid was a stage show located in the Animation Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It closed in 2020 with the rest of the parks for the pandemic but failed to reopen — and has sat vacant ever since. Voyage of the Little Mermaid The new show will be called “The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure” and is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Fall 2024! It will be a “fully reimagined theatrical production inspired by the Walt Disney Animation Studios classic” of the same name. So, this show will be all about the original and not the live-action remake. ©Disney We’ll be sure to let you know if we hear that any other attractions will be closing, so make sure to follow along so that you don’t miss anything! 24. After a series of interactions between Disney CEO Bob Iger and Elon Musk, Disney+ has officially been removed from Tesla vehicles. ©Disney This update came about a month after Disney and several other companies removed advertising from X (formerly Twitter). Disney and others chose to do this following comments made by Elon Musk that were deemed antisemitic. Iger stated publicly that he “…felt that the association was not necessarily a positive one for us”, and that is why he decided to pull Disney’s advertising. All of this led to Musk commenting on the situation at a live event… using some choice words. Then, he took to X (formerly Twitter) and shared more of his thoughts in a series of tweets. Now, we have an additional update on the conflict. In an article written by Vulture, it was confirmed that Musk officially removed the Disney+ app from Teslas. Musk has not given a statement regarding his reasoning or commented on the situation. ©Getty Images via The Hollywood Reporter Plenty of Tesla drivers have noticed the removal of the Disney+ app. Vulture reported that even people who downloaded the Disney+ app noticed it was removed. There is a workaround to be able to get Disney+ back in your car, but it is a lot less convenient. To get access to Disney+ in your Tesla, you have to go into the browser, type in the URL for the website, and log in from there. ©Getty Images via The Hollywood Reporter All of this stemmed, as we mentioned, from Iger’s decision to remove advertising on X (formerly Twitter) after Musk endorsed some tweets deemed antisemitic. In a live media event, Musk made his feelings about this clear. He stated, “Don’t advertise. If someone is going to try and blackmail me with advertising? Blackmail me with money? Go f**k yourself,” Musk said. “Go f**k yourself, is that clear? Hey Bob, if you’re in the audience. That’s how I feel, don’t advertise.” ©Disney This was followed by some tweets on X from Musk. He wrote, “Bob Eiger thinks it’s cool to advertise next to child exploitation material. Real stand-up guy.” He later apologized (for the tweets, that is) and stated, “I mean, look, I’m sorry for that … post,” he said. “It was foolish of me. Of the 30,000 it might be literally the worst and dumbest post I’ve ever done.” ©Apple We’ve been watching this unfold in the news recently, and we are keeping an eye out for the latest updates.
