The Walt Disney Company has significantly changed since replacing Disney CEO Bob Chapek with Bob Iger. When Iger returned as CEO in 2022, he stated he had a “clear mission focused on creative excellence to inspire generations through unrivaled, bold storytelling.” Walt Disney Company Headquarters ©LA Times At the time, Susan Arnold, Chairman of the Board, stated, “The Board has concluded that as Disney embarks on an increasingly complex period of industry transformation, Bob Iger is uniquely situated to lead the Company through this pivotal period.” But what happened to Bob Chapek? On January 16th, 2024, Masimo, a global medical technology company, announced a new member has joined its Board of Directors. In a press release announcing the news, we learned that Bob Chapek has been appointed to Masimo’s Board of Directors. Bob Chapek ©Disney Masimo stated, “Mr. Chapek was Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company, one of the world’s largest media and entertainment companies, from February 2020 to November 2022, successfully leading Disney through the global COVID-19 pandemic and recovery. Under his leadership, Disney strategically realigned its media and entertainment divisions, expanded the scale and global reach of its streaming services, made transformative changes to its parks and resorts worldwide, and leveraged new and innovative technologies to bring stories to life in more immersive and impactful ways.” ©Disney || Bob Chapek Chapek stated, “I am thrilled to join the Masimo Board,” adding, “I look forward to helping advance the company’s growth by leveraging their core technologies in the consumer and consumer health spaces.” In addition to his time at Disney, Chapek previously worked at H.J. Heinz Company and J. Walter Thompson, where he worked in brand management and advertising. ©Disney The Chairman and CEO of Masimo, Joe Kiani, said, “We are honored to have Bob join the Board. You might have read that title and thought, “Surely that’s a joke.” We would’ve thought the same thing. But it’s NOT! There really is a gravy-themed roller coaster in the works, and it’s so weird and fun and we’re beyond excited about it. ©Holiday World We’ve talked about this tasty-sounding coaster before, but since it’s opening in just about four months, we thought it was high time to bring it up again and get everyone ready! The home of the new Good Gravy! Roller Coaster is none other than Holiday World, which totally makes sense for a Thanksgiving-themed ride. Gravy Boat Holiday World is located in Santa Claus, Indiana, and the park has four big sections, each themed to a different holiday: Christmas, Halloween, the Fourth of July, and Thanksgiving. Good Gravy! is going in the Thanksgiving section, of course! It’ll join other rides in that area like the “Gobbler Getaway,” “The Mayflower,” and “Turkey Whirl.” ©Holiday World What exactly is the story of this ride? We’re glad you asked. The queue for the ride takes you through Grandma’s house, where you’re going to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner with everyone. But then you discover that the feast is missing one key component: the GRAVY! ©Holiday World You’ll hop onboard “the world’s largest gravy boat” (which is a sentence we never thought we’d type) to help make more of Grandma’s famously good gravy. Let’s go! We got a sneak peek at these amazing gravy boats at IAAPA in 2023, and now we want to ride in these more than ever. Gravy On your journey, you’ll encounter gigantic kitchen tools like a whisk and a rolling pin. You might fly past some stuffing as well. Oh, and did we mention that you’ll get to ride through a tunnel that’s a giant can of cranberry jelly?! That’s it — we’re sold. ©Holiday World Holiday World’s website said, “You’ll travel forward up a seven-stories-tall spike then backward to make more gravy and save Thanksgiving dinner!” This is starting to sound a little extreme! Just check out this concept art of the huge “spike.” ©Holiday World Here are all the numbers: Good Gravy! is 1,500 feet in length and 77 feet tall at the highest point. The coaster has a 38″ height requirement. Those gravy boats are really MOVING — top speed is 37 miles per hour. Each train has ten two-person coaches. The ride lasts about 1 minute and 5 seconds. Now all that’s left to know is WHEN can we finally ride this thing?! Good Gravy! is set to open at Holiday World in May 2024. In preparation for the 2024 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, Disney has announced its recommendation for 12 nominees for the Board of Directors. Along with this recommendation, the company released information about executives’ salaries, including the 2023 salary of CEO Bob Iger. ©Disney Iger returned to Disney to re-take his position of CEO in November 2022. Since then, we’ve seen many changes at the company, including leadership changes, announcements for changes at the parks, and a serious focus on improving streaming assets. Now, we know just how much Iger was paid in the first full year since he returned. The Walt Disney Company was required to release details about executives’ salaries in an SEC filing, which they did on January 16th. According to the recent filing, Bob Iger made $32,123,717 in fiscal year 2023. ©Disney This number is Iger’s full pay package, which is made up of base salary, stock awards, stock-option awards, cash bonuses, and other compensation. Variety notes that the 2023 number is down from Iger’s prior full year of employment with Disney in 2021, when he made $45.9 million. ©Alberto E. Rodriguez / Getty Images The report also shows that the median employee’s total annual compensation for fiscal 2023 was $54,010, which means that the ratio of Iger’s salary to the median employee’s is 595:1. ©Disney Bob Iger initially returned to the company with plans to stay through 2024, but his tenure was extended through December 31st, 2026. In July 2023, the Board of Directors at Disney unanimously voted to extend Iger’s contract, adding the extra two years. Valentine’s Day is one of our favorite holidays. Who else loves Valentine’s Day? We love all the sweets and treats, the excuse to get dressed up, and of course — all things PINK! There are plenty of ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day in the Disney Parks, from merch to treats. Over at Tokyo Disneyland, though, things have gone into Valentine’s Day OVERHAUL in the best way possible. An all-new event that reminds us A LOT of Valentine’s Day has made its way to Tokyo Disneyland — Disney Pal-Palooza “Minnie’s Funderland!” It even happens to fall over the holiday of love. What better mascot for a celebration themed to all things love and friendship? ©Disney The event began on January 10th, 2024, and will run until March 19th. The park is decked out in all things pink. It’s totally Minnie-approved. Disney shared some photos and videos on Instagram, and we just had to show you guys. ©Disney As part of the event, visitors can watch the Minnie Parade, which features Minnie and friends in glittery costumes. Hi, Donald! ©Disney Of course, there are plenty of decorations and photo ops throughout the park. I mean, how often do you see a Disney park totally decked out in pink? There’s a BIG construction project that you probably noticed in Magic Kingdom! Tiana’s Bayou Adventure That’s right — currently, Disney is renovating the old Splash Mountain ride into a new Princess and the Frog-themed attraction called Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The makeover is taking place on both the east and west coasts, but in Magic Kingdom, it’s causing some changes recently! A few days ago, Disney had to move around the entrance to the Walt Disney World Railroad Station in Frontierland because of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure construction, cutting off the entrance on the right side and requiring visitors to enter on the left. Frontierland Train Station entrance closed But now, Disney has temporarily CLOSED the bathrooms in Frontierland due to the construction as well. These restrooms are located at the exit of the ride and are the closest facilities for those visiting the train station or Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. The bathrooms are closed! Disney hasn’t shared how long these bathrooms will be closed, but we’ll keep an eye out. In the meantime, the next closest restrooms are located inside Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe. (You could also visit the restroom nearby on Tom Sawyer Island, but you need to take a raft to cross the Rivers of America and get there!) Apple is getting ready to unveil its newest technology, and it could totally change how some people experience streaming, virtual connection, and online browsing. And the really fun part? Disney is part of the project! ©Apple The new Apple Vision Pro is coming out on February 2nd, 2024, with Disney+’s entire streaming catalog available from day one. How exactly will streaming be different with this new tech? We’ve got some details about a couple of exciting new features. Disney announced on January 16th that “fans will be able to experience Disney’s iconic stories like never before with Disney+ on Apple Vision Pro, Apple’s revolutionary spatial computer, offering Disney+ subscribers with a Vision Pro device a new way to stream entertainment at no additional cost.” ©Apple Apple Vision Pro is Apple’s new mixed-reality headset that will blend virtual and augmented reality, overlaying virtual images on live video of the real world. Users can see apps projected in front of them, and the headset is programmed to respond to head and eye movement, so it’ll feel like “your mind is guiding the experience.” ©Apple The whole Disney+ streaming catalog will be available on the headset, so you can watch shows and movies while you’re wearing the Vision Pro goggles. ©Apple Disney CEO Bob Iger said, “At Disney, we’re constantly searching for new ways to entertain, inform, and inspire by combining exceptional creativity with groundbreaking technology to create truly remarkable experiences.” He continued, “Apple Vision Pro is a revolutionary platform that will bring our fans closer to the characters and stories they love while immersing them more deeply in all that Disney has to offer. We’re proud to once again be partnering with Apple to bring extraordinary new Disney experiences to people around the world.” Let’s take a look at the new features that will be available with this tech. Immersive, Disney-themed Environments Disney stated that there will be four “Disney+ Environments” that “magically transform users’ spaces into landscapes from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars.” Basically, you’ll be able to turn on these “environments” so that it feels like you’re in a scene from one of those Disney movies. ©Apple The four environments that will be available at launch include “the Disney+ Theater, inspired by the historic El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood; the Scare Floor from Pixar’s Monsters Inc.; Marvel’s Avengers Tower overlooking downtown Manhattan; and the cockpit of Luke Skywalker’s landspeeder, facing a binary sunset on the planet Tatooine from the Star Wars galaxy.” You can stream Disney+ shows and movies while you’re “inside” these environments, making the experience feel more unique and immersive. ©Apple The environments themselves won’t change much, so it’s not like you’re actually “inside” the movies in the middle of the action, but you will see “animations and sounds that make the space feel alive” as well as some Easter eggs from Disney films. This might be the first step towards actually being able to go inside our favorite Disney films! 3D Movies Another big feature that is available with Apple Vision Pro is 3D Disney+ movies. Disney stated that “viewers will be able to watch dozens of popular movies in 3D” with the new technology. ©Apple Some of the movies that will be available in 3D include Avatar: The Way of Water, Avengers: Endgame, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Elemental, and Encanto. Disney said that more 3D titles will be announced at a later date, including some that are only available to Disney+ subscribers. Here’s the Catch This all sounds pretty awesome, but there’s just one problem: The Apple Vision Pro devices don’t come cheap (which you could probably guess). The new tech will be available starting at $3,499 per unit. ©Apple Although the new devices don’t exactly fit into our budget, it’s still exciting to see technology advance and new innovations continue! Despite the luxuries and technologies we’re fortunate enough to experience in this day and age, traveling can still be a nightmare. Commercial air travel has come a long way since the days of the first powered flight but that doesn’t mean we’re not still working out the kinks. Orlando International Airport This is especially true when it comes to having to go through security and dealing with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), whose job it is to keep us secure in airports and on flights. And, new data shows that the TSA has confiscated more firearms from Orlando International Airport (MCO) than any other airport in Florida — and many in the United States. A new report from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) reveals that Orlando International Airport (MCO) was ranked among the top 10 with the most firearms found in carry-on bags throughout 2023. The TSA said it intercepted a 6,737 guns at 265 different security checkpoints in the United States — surpassing the previous year’s record of 6,542. Orlando Airport MCO is ranked 7th on the list with 164 firearms confiscated throughout 2023. Tampa International and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airports followed with 144 and 135 found weapons, respectively. The TSA report showed that 93% of the guns found were loaded, as well. ©TSA Now, we don’t want to alarm you too much, here. Many of the owners of these weapons were legally allowed to carry them in Florida — but not onto an airplane. And there’s no evidence that anyone trying to board an airplane last year at Orlando Airport was carrying a firearm with malintent. But we were surprised at how common this is — we did the math, and it happens just about every other day. Here’s a look at the top 10 airports with the most confiscated firearms in 2023: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport – 451 Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport – 378 George Bush Intercontinental Airport – 311 Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport – 235 Nashville International Airport – 188 Denver International Airport – 178 Orlando International Airport – 164 Tampa International Airport – 144 Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport – 135 Dallas Love Field – 125 ©TSA “We are still seeing far too many firearms at TSA checkpoints, and what’s particularly concerning is the amount of them loaded, presenting an unnecessary risk to everyone at the TSA checkpoint,” TSA Administrator David Pekoske said in a press release. “Firearms and ammunition are strictly prohibited in carry-on baggage. Passengers are only allowed to travel with an unloaded firearm, and only if they pack it properly in a locked, hard-sided case in their checked baggage and first declare it to the airline at the check-in counter.” Orlando International Airport Click Orlando reports that when a firearm is found at a TSA checkpoint, the officers immediately notify local law enforcement who then remove the passenger from the checkpoint area. Local laws may dictate the law enforcement officer may arrest or cite the passenger. Not only that, but bringing a firearm through a TSA checkpoint can lead to a civil penalty “up to approximately $15,000” and can also revoke any TSA PreCheck eligibility for at least five years. It’s undeniable — Disneyland is a juggernaut when it comes to theme park snacks. When we found out about a few NEW offerings, you know we had to rush over to try them! Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland This year is shaping up to be a big one for food at the Disneyland Resort, and we can’t wait to try ALL OF IT! From tasty desserts to savory snacks, Disneyland cuisine is the gift that keeps on giving. In fact, we recently tried a new dessert and snack at Walt’s first park and we have A LOT of thoughts! During a recent visit, we came across two new treats — the Pepperoni Mickey-Shaped Pretzel and the Grape Mickey-Shaped Beignets with Mardi Gras Sauce! Pepperoni Mickey-shaped pretzel Starting with the pepperoni pretzel, we have to say, this is one tasty snack! The pretzel is $10.49 at Refreshment Corner on Main Street, U.S.A., and is currently one of two seasonal offerings (the other is a Chili-Cheese Potato Dog). Topped with fried pepperoni crumbles and parmesan cheese, and served with a spicy marinara sauce, this Mickey pretzel is like eating your own personal pizza. Refreshment Corner usually has something special on the menu each time you visit We were BIG fans of this treat! It has that classic Mickey Pretzel salty flavor, but the pepperoni flavor really kicks in with hints of parmesan. When you mix the pretzel with the accompanying sauce, the pizza profile really comes together. The sauce has a lot of that sweet marinara taste that’s followed by some spice, but we thought it was the right amount and not too strong. Overall, we really enjoyed this treat and definitely recommend it! The sauce is pretty tasty! So is this snack for you? If you like pepperoni pizza and a bit of spice, we think you’re going to really enjoy it. If you typically avoid salty snacks, then this isn’t going to be the snack that changes your mind. As for the beignets, our experience was totally different. The Grape Mickey-Shape Beignets can be bought at Mint Julep Bar in a 3-pack for $5.99 or 6-pack for $9.49, and the Mardi Gras Sauce can be purchased alongside them for $1.39. Grape Mickey-shaped Beignets at Mint Julep Bar The Beignets are dusted with grape powdered sugar and the sauce is green icing with gold pearls. Mardi Gras Sauce This dessert was NOT our cup of tea. The beignets were warm and soft but the grape flavor tasted artificial and was reminiscent of children’s cough syrup. It wasn’t the worst thing we’ve ever tried, but we probably won’t get it again. As for the sauce, it was decent and tasted just like vanilla icing. The beignets come in packs of three or six If you don’t mind the taste of grape-flavored medicine or are feeling adventurous, you might really like this new flavor of beignets. If artificial grape flavoring isn’t your favorite, then maybe pass on this flavor and stick with the original, hard-to-beat beignets. We got A LOT of information about the 2024 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival! 2023 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival We’re in the midst of the EPCOT Festival of the Arts, but Disney is pouring out the information for their next big festival. There were tons of new details just announced, so we’re breaking it all down for you and giving you the scoop on TWO scavenger hunts you’ll be able to participate in! First of all, the Flower and Garden Festival wouldn’t be much of a flower and garden event if we didn’t have any flowers or greenery. This year, Disney has announced several NEW larger-than-life topiaries — including Mr. Groot! ©Disney There will be a total of 70(!!) topiaries that you can wander around and look at and those will include 6 new ones! You’ll be able to spot Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy near Guardians of the Galaxy: Comic Rewind, Asha, Valentino and the Wishing Star from Wish near the park’s main entrance, and Miguel and Dante from Coco in the Mexico Pavilion. 2023 Flower and Garden Festival Next, we found out that five new musical groups will be joining the Garden Rocks concert series! You can jam to the music with priority seating by purchasing a Dining Package at one of the following EPCOT restaurants: Akershus Royal Banquet Hall Biergarten Restaurant Coral Reef Restaurant Garden Grill Restaurant Rose & Crown Dining Room Le Cellier Steakhouse Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Brews & Barbecue (same-day, in-person walk-up packages only) 2023 Garden Rocks Concert You can begin booking one of these packages on February 6th on the Disney World website or app! Berlin at Garden Rocks in 2023 Then, Disney gave a sneak peek at the returning food booths coming to the festival! You know we try out every single booth at the EPCOT festival, but these three might have to be priorities! The Honey Bee-stro, Magnolia Terrace, and Northern Bloom are making a comeback with some favorite dishes. Chicken and Waffles at the Honey Bee-stro are returning! It isn’t an EPCOT festival if there aren’t some adorable souvenirs to go with it! This year, Orange Bird is making a reappearance on a new Loungefly and more, spreading sunshine on everything. ©Disney And finally — two seasonal scavenger hunts will be underway throughout the festival! Spike the Bee will be taking you on an adventure around the gardens with Spike’s Pollination Exploration. And for a limited time, you can hop like a bunny through the World Showcase for the Egg-stravaganza Hunt. Park hopping has officially changed in Disney World and that means we’ve got to get used to a whole new set of rules all over again. Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom Sure, there might not be restrictions on when you can hop anymore, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the process is easy. In fact, when it comes to using buses to park hop in Disney World, there are some important details you need to know! What are the new park hopping rules? As of January 9, 2024, guests with valid admission and park hopper tickets can now hop at ANY time! This means that you can have a reservation in Animal Kingdom in the morning and then instantly hop over to say, Hollywood Studios to ride Rise of the Resistance right after. You don’t have to wait until any specific time any longer — you can grab coffee in Magic Kingdom and then head right to EPCOT if you want! Spaceship Earth We have plenty of posts on park hopping — the new rules, new quirks, and everything you might need to know to prepare for your next trip. One of those quirks, we’ve found, has to do with using Disney World bus transportation to park hop. In fact, there are still some rules in place that you will have to remember when it comes to buses! Don’t worry — we can explain. When CAN’T you take a bus to park hop? Before 10AM On any given day, the Disney World parks typically open anywhere from 7AM to 9AM so you can get an early start to your day. But, as of now, buses will not begin running from park to park until 10AM. Disney Bus If you want to hop before 10AM, you’ll need to consider other transportation options like the Skyliner, the monorail, your personal vehicle, or a paid rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. 6 Tips for Using Uber in Disney World When hopping to and from EPCOT and Magic Kingdom If you’re planning on hopping between EPCOT and Magic Kingdom, you’ll need to find an alternate form of transportation other than Disney World buses right now. There are currently no buses running between these two parks at the moment — but that could always change in the future! Disney Bus Transportation to Hollywood Studios To hop between these two parks, just take a ride on the monorail! You can also hop in an Uber or your personal vehicle. We’ll let you know if Disney decides to bring bus service between Magic Kingdom and EPCOT back, but in the meantime, plan for an alternate route. We’re in full Festival of the Arts mode, but Disney just announced some new details about the next festival! 2023 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival Topiaries That’s right — it’s already time to start thinking about the 2024 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival. The festival will run from February 28th to May 27th (which makes the festival MUCH shorter than last year) and there will be lots of food booths and a new topiary to explore. Now, we also know a bit more about the dining packages that will be available so let’s get into it! Each year, the Flower and Garden Festival hosts the Garden Rocks Concert Series where visitors can listen to different performers on the stage by the American Adventure pavilion. New groups will be performing this year and if you want to guarantee yourself a good seat, you can book a dining package! Garden Rocks Concert Starting on February 6th, Garden Rocks Dining Packages will be available to book. There are several restaurants you can choose from including: Akershus Royal Banquet Hall Biergarten Restaurant Coral Reef Restaurant Garden Grill Restaurant Rose & Crown Dining Room Le Cellier Steakhouse Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Brews & Barbecue (same-day, in-person walk-up packages only) Akershus The price of the dining package includes a meal at the restaurant of your choosing and priority seating at the Garden Rocks concert. We are so excited to bring you new details for the 2024 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival! 2023 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival Topiaries Every year EPCOT hosts a variety of festivals and one of those is the Flower and Garden Festival. It’s a beautiful, spring festival that celebrates the renewed growth of flowers and greenery. It marks the end of winter and the beginning of the new season. And Disney just announced the opening dates and new details that we can expect at this year’s event! The 2024 Flower and Garden Festival will run from February 28th through May 27th. It will be 90 beautiful days where you can visit “inspirational gardens”, eat great food, and rock out at the Garden Rocks concerts. You can also wander around the park and see all the amazing, larger-than-life topiaries of many of your favorite Disney characters! 2023 Figment topiary This year, several all-new topiaries will be joining the more than 70 others! One in particular is a nod to a favorite superhero movie. Groot(!!) will be making an appearance as flora colossus from the Guardians of the Galaxy movies with a giant cassette tape high above his head. You’ll be able to find him near the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind ride. ©Disney Disney’s horticulture Cast Members will be busy creating several other new characters such as Asha, Valentino, and the Wishing Star from Wish (near EPCOT’s main entrance), and Miguel and Dante from Coco in the Mexico pavilion! 2023 ‘Encanto’ topiaries We can’t wait to see these majestic works of flower art! We know, we know. It’s only January, and the iconic Festival of the Arts JUST started at EPCOT. EPCOT That doesn’t mean we can’t look forward to spring, though! EPCOT’s International Flower and Garden Festival is one of our favorite festivals of the year. This year, the Flower and Garden festival will grace EPCOT with fresh new eats and beautiful topiaries from February 28th through May 27th. Disney shared some NEW details on this year’s festival, and we think you’re gonna LOVE them. This post is dedicated to the new MERCH that you’ll be able to snag at the Flower and Garden Festival this year! Let’s jump right into it. 2023 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival Topiaries First and foremost, we have to highlight our pal Orange Bird. Orange Bird has served as an unofficial mascot for the Flower and Garden Festival for a few years now. So, it comes as no surprise that you can find him once more on some of the merch. It looks like this year, you’ll be able to grab a plush and a Loungefly Mini Backpack! ©Disney Next up, it looks like we’ll have merch themed to Coco! The souvenirs Disney highlighted include what looks like a canvas basket as well as a bucket hat! ©Disney That’s not all, though! There will also be a Butterfly Collection that stars Minnie Mouse in a “beautiful, flowery assortment,” as well as an exclusive Spike the Bee collection that’s just for Annual Passholders. Oh, and don’t worry if you won’t be able to make it to the festival in person. The merchandise will be available online on shopDisney on March 4th! We know the EPCOT Festival of the Arts just started, but we’re already planning for the next EPCOT festival, and it looks like Disney is, too! Flower and Garden Festival Disney just confirmed three food booths for this year’s Flower & Garden Festival, so you can already get started on your “must-eat” list for your upcoming trip. Disney has confirmed that the following booths will return to the 2024 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival: The Honey Bee-stro Hosted by the National Honey Board Honey Bee-stro Full Spread Magnolia Terrace (in the American Adventure pavilion) Magnolia Terrace Northern Bloom (in the Canada pavilion) 2023 Northern Bloom Booth But we didn’t just get confirmation that the booths will return — we also know a few menu items that will be back this year! Muffuletta Panini In 2024, you can enjoy the Chicken & Waffles at the Honey Bee-stro booth, the Muffuletta Panini at Magnolia Terrace, and the Chocolate Whiskey Cake at Northern Bloom. Chicken and Waffles at The Honey Bee-stro The Flower and Garden Festival is an absolute highlight of Spring in Walt Disney World, and has been since it began in 1994. The 2023 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival was held March 1st through July 5th, and the 2024 event will kick off on February 28th and runs through May 27th. Flower & Garden Festival The Garden Rocks Concert Series is a popular feature of the festival. Performances are free with EPCOT admission, and take place at the America Gardens Theater. Internationally known artists perform Friday through Monday; local bands rock the house Tuesday through Thursday. Garden Rocks Concert You can find the full list of artists performing at the Flower and Garden Festival here, along with information about Garden Rocks Dining Packages, which pair lunch or dinner at a participating EPCOT restaurant with guaranteed seating for a Garden Rocks performance for that evening! Le Cellier Steakhouse in EPCOT Disney has also confirmed that two scavenger hunts will return for the festival: Spike’s Pollination Exploration and the Egg-stravaganza Hunt. We JUST kicked off the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, but it’s not to soon to start planning for the next festival! 2023 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival usually takes place in the springtime, bringing beautiful topiaries and floral displays to the park, along with garden-inspired eats and entertainment. If you’re coming to Disney World in the next few months and you want to visit the festival, we’ve got some important news for you! Disney previously announced that the 2024 Flower & Garden Festival would start on February 28th, but now we know when it will end! The last day of the festival for this year will be May 27th. EPCOT’s Flower & Garden Festival That’s 90 full days of festival fun this year! These dates are shifted a bit earlier than usual — last year, the festival began in March and ran until early July. We’ll be interested to see how this change affects the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival that typically comes directly after. EPCOT This year will bring back the Garden Rocks Concert Series, plenty of food booths, and a fun scavenger hunt, as well as some new topiary designs.
