Walking along the path at Disney Springs it’s not hard to be lured into the smells of rich chocolate and delicious candy. If you have followed your nose, you’ve likely found yourself inside Disney’s Candy Cauldron, which has been casting its spell on Walt Disney World guests since 1997. With its dark, dungeon-inspired theming and dramatic show kitchen, the shop pays tribute to one of Disney’s most iconic villains — the Evil Queen from Walt Disney’s first animated feature film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. But beyond the cobblestone styled walls lies something even more enchanting: generations of craftsmanship, storytelling, and one of Walt Disney World’s most beloved treats — the candy apple. The Lore of the Disney Candy Apple Candy and caramel apples have been part of Walt Disney World’s culinary story since the early 1970s. guests began biting into these delicious confections along Main Street, U.S.A., and they quickly became a guest favorite — not just for their sweet crunch, but for the magic of watching them being made. Over time, cast members began turning these apples into edible works of art, incorporating beloved Disney characters and holiday themes. Among the most iconic creations is the Evil Queen Apple which was introduced in the mid-2000s as a Halloween seasonal treat. Designed to resemble the cursed fruit from Snow White, the apple features a glossy red candy shell with a signature green “drip,” echoing the film’s infamous scene. It remains one of the most sought-after specialty items each fall. And if an apple is not your thing, you may also enjoy the shop’s Evil Queen cake pop – another fan-favorite. Today, guests can watch these candy apple treats come to life through the windows of Disney’s Candy Cauldron, where cast members dip, swirl, and decorate apples in real time. A Family Story Behind the Glass Behind that glass, cast members don’t just make candy — they make memories. Joanne, who has been with Walt Disney World for over 30 years, has spent much of her career at Disney’s Candy Cauldron. She started at the front counter but soon became fascinated by the artistry happening in the kitchen. “I like interacting with our guests,” Joanne said. “It’s exciting when people watch us making candy apples. The key to making perfect candy apples: it takes a lot of practice. That’s what I tell new cast members.” Over the years, Joanne became a master of candy apple making. With her skill of decorating, she also became a mentor, training dozens of new cast members over the years. One of those new cast members? Her son – Pedro, who joined the team in 2010 as a seasonal hire while still in high school. “She’s the reason I started here and this location was the beginning of my Disney journey,” Pedro said. “She was a great teacher, and definitely somebody who made sure I got that trade done right, because she’s very particular with making sure that everything that our guests buy is done to perfection.” Under his mom’s guidance, Pedro learned the fine details of candy craftsmanship — and the deeper lessons of guest service, teamwork, and creativity. That foundation led him to a career in Disney leadership roles, including one in 2019 during the grand opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Their story is one of many within the Cauldron’s history: generations of cast members passing on candy apple skills, stories, and the magic of making something by hand. “I will say some of my best interactions with guests have been in that kitchen. Anywhere from seeing a little kid ‘ooh’ and ‘ah’ while you’re making candy apples, to adults watching the entire process and saying they want the one you’re making,” Pedro explained. Every Apple, a Work of Art From classic caramel-covered apples to seasonal designs like Olaf, Jack Skellington, and, of course, the Evil Queen’s poison apple, Disney’s Candy Cauldron continues to evolve while keeping Disney tradition at its core. Disney’s Candy Cauldron remains a must-visit destination at Disney Springs. Whether you’re looking for a seasonal specialty, crisped rice treats, bags of freshly spun cotton candy, or an apple dipped in mouthwatering chocolate, there’s something unforgettable waiting behind the glass. Houston, we have takeoff. A new snack stand has landed in Magic Kingdom, and while I’m still shedding tears for Cool Ship (and if you don’t get my sentiment, it’s been around for 31 years, which is pretty iconic), here at Disney Food Blog, we’re pretty dang excited for new snacks. We can’t wait to eat here again On a ride on the PeopleMover, we saw a new update that officially confirms all the speculations and marks a new chapter in Tomorrowland. That’s a new sign, everybody! This was the area that used to be Cool Ship, which was completely taken down and rebuilt under the new name AstroFizz. Welcome to the party AstroFizz The iconic red spaceship flew away and was replaced with a more modern style. It still has the retro feeling with the colors, blending right into Tomorrowland. AstroFizz construction When you check it out on My Disney Experience, AstroFizz officially shows up on the map — exactly where Cool Ship was! Map official! The snack stand is going to be brought to you by Coca-Cola and will have “buttery popcorn and fluffy cotton candy” along with “frozen slushies or assorted Coca-Cola Fountain Beverages.” On Instagram, Disney teased that Coca-Cola, Fanta Blue Raspberry, and Fanta Orange Frozen slushies will be coming. I’m so excited to get a Coke slushie outside of the movie theater. ©Disney They also showed the Cherry Cola Churro, which is a churro rolled in cherry sugar, drizzled with Coca-Cola Cherry icing, and topped with cherry popping candies. I love specialty churros, so I’m here for it. ©Disney For Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, AstroFizz will be serving Cherry-White Cocolate Slushy, which is Fanta Cherry served with a crackable white chocolate-coated cup with whipped cream, cherry gummy candy, and festive sprinkles. This will only be available during party hours, so make sure you time your snacking right. ©Disney We might not have been able to say goodbye to Cool Ship, but AstroFizz seems to be a worthy successor with its Coca-Cola snacks. Considering I always have a fountain Coke or bottle of Coke at any given moment when I’m at Disney World, I think this is going to be a popular spot for me. It takes a lot to make those grim, grinning ghosts come out to socialize. The latest installment of “We Call It Imagineering,” the Disney-produced YouTube series, dives into details of Haunted Mansion, the longtime spooky attraction at Magic Kingdom, Disneyland and other theme parks. We’re talking down to the eyeballed wallpaper and the pitch of the windy sound effects. The 28-minute production talks with current and former Imagineers, including one who worked with Walt Disney himself. The show goes overseas and onto the Disney Cruise Line, where the Treasure ship features a Haunted Mansion Parlor. But here are five of the shared factoids about the attraction on dry land. Scratch that The disembodied Ghost Host narrator, heard throughout the ride, was not in the early plans for Haunted Mansion. “Originally the narrator was going to be a cat that then morphed into a raven. They weren’t able to get the raven to work as the narrator so it became just the Ghost Host voice,” Tom Fitzgerald, portfolio executive creative director for Walt Disney Imagineering, said in the episode, which is titled “Foolish Mortals.” Ravens still are seen inside the attraction. Other characters that didn’t make the cut includes witches surrounding a cauldron and a more sheet-like ghostly hitchhiker. One iteration had Constance, the bride in the attic, being faceless. Breezy and eerie There’s something spooky in the wind at Haunted Mansion. “The composer for Haunted Mansion was Buddy Baker, a Disney Legend, and he created these amazing musical melodies that are woven into the sound design of the wind as well as the graveyard in the music,” said Greg Lhotka, manager-audio media design with WDI. “A lot of the sound design was performed with actual physical props built by legendary sound artist Jimmy Macdonald.” Lhotka said. “He worked very closely with Buddy Baker and they were able to weave the music and sound effects together so you can get the theme of the Haunted Mansion playing through wind.” Also featured in the YouTube program: outtakes from the recording session of Paul Frees, the voice of your Ghost Host. Eye catching Haunted Mansion’s famed looking-back-at-you wallpaper came from former Imagineer Tania McKnight Norris, who also supplied drapery and furniture to fill out the scenes. “I couldn’t find a spooky wallpaper, and I can remember sitting at my desk doodling the eyes and then working with the wallpaper company to get it precise,” Norris said. She has bragging rights that are impossible to emulate. “I’m one of the very few people left who knew Walt Disney,” she said. (Courtesy photo)Rolly Crump (left) shows Walt Disney (right) and a Disney ambassador haunted-attraction designs in a mid-1960s episode of the 'Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color.' (Walt Disney Co.) Melting away Another Disney co-worker was Rolly Crump, who came up with creatures just a little to bizarre for Walt’s Mansion plans. Instead they dreamed up a possible Museum of the Weird attraction, which never happened. After Crump died in 2023, a miniature version of his melting Candle Man character was placed in the attic scene of the Magic Kingdom ride. A melting bust and other Weird notions also are featured in the Haunted Mansion Parlor on the ship. Light club The exterior lighting of Haunted Mansion is designed to draw folks in and play off the foggy atmosphere. “We started to talk about angle, shadows, color, and how that evokes different emotions, how the greens can make you feel a little bit uncomfortable,” said Ralphie Weisbecker, manager-lighting design with Disney Live Entertainment. “The blues can be a little darker and spookier, trying to take the story that the Imagineers created inside and draw it outside,” he said. One more: One little spark Haunted Mansion character do get out sometimes, notably during Mickey’s Boo to You Halloween Parade, one of the centerpieces of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom. Among the memorable actions are the choreographed gravediggers, who hit the pavement to use their shovels for a special effect. “We were rehearsing, and someone was a little tired and dragged their shovel behind them,” remembers Tara Anderson, show director with Disney Live Entertainment. “And there was a spark. And that’s all I needed. We’re going to play with that. … You get the sound of it, you get the clang, and then you get the scrape and you get the spark.” Email me at dbevil@orlandosentinel.com. Disney’s BoardWalk is one of our favorite places to grab dinner. It’s only a short walk away from EPCOT, a quick ride on the Skyliner, or a fast boat ride to a pier filled with restaurants, from quick eats to sit-down. If I’m having a fun date night, it’s likely I’m heading to somewhere on the BoardWalk and watching the EPCOT fireworks on the dock. With all the options, where should you eat? Get ready for the meal of a lifetime We recently visited Flying Fish at Disney’s BoardWalk to see if you should add this to your reservation list. Ready to get those fish flying? Atmosphere Flying Fish is one of Disney’s signature restaurants, a way of saying fine dining. While this restaurant is upscale and swanky, we didn’t find it intimidating like some of the ultra-fancy restaurants. The whole space is gorgeous, from the bubble chandeliers and the glass fish that look like they’re swimming around the room. Beautiful space Even the flatware has small scales to tie in the fish elements. It feels romantic and elegant, but no need to pack your tux. It’s a bit on the louder side, and there were plenty of families dining, but we think this could be a great date night, with a balance between upscale dining and a comfortable Disney dinner. Come on in! There is a mix of regular chairs, high tops, booth seating, and bar seating — they have it all, here! Menu Despite being called Flying Fish, this spot has far more than just fish. While they do have options like Lobster Bisque, Mussels, Shrimp Cocktail, and more, there’s also Slow-roasted Pork Belly and Artisan Cheeses —just the appetizers! The menu The entrees range from Salmon, Sea Bass, and Red Snapper to Filet Mignon, Chicken, and New York Strip. We think there’s a wide variety of options for everyone, along with a kids’ menu for our smaller eaters. There are many familiar and traditional dishes with a bit of an upscale twist. More options Eats Of course, we started this meal with the Bread Basket. Bread basket We’re going to start off by saying that the bread came with life-changing butter. It was ultra-creamy, with big flakes of salt and green onion, and paired beautifully with the bread, which had a crisp outside and a soft inside. It was cut into perfectly thick slices, and we thought the salt helped cut through the butter’s richness. The bread was simple yet high-quality, setting the tone for the meal and signaling that it would be indulgent and elevated. The life-changing butter For our appetizer, we had the Fennel and Saffron Mussels for $20. They are topped with Smoked Trout Roe, Chili Oil, and Chardonnay Broth. Mussels Look at that presentation! It looks gorgeous and perfect for fine dining. The broth had the classic white wine and garlic flavors with subtle notes of fennel that added some beautiful aromatics. The sauce is buttery and savory with a fishy taste from the fish roe. There was a touch of grit in a few of the mussels, and while it’s fairly common in shellfish, it didn’t ruin the dish but was noticeable. The flavors were familiar but done perfectly, and we loved digging into them. Inside Then we had the Filet Mignon for $62. This comes with Truffle Pain Perdu, Creamed Romaine, and Flying Fish Steak Sauce. Filet Mignon Yes, the priectag did surprise us, but once we got a taste, we understood. It’s served with a house-made steak sauce that tastes like A1, and an au poivre sauce had a baby. We loved the tanginess with a little bit of sweetness. It was rich but was used lightly, so it didn’t overwhelm anything. The truffle pain perdu reminded us of a truffle French toast! It was unique and delicious, beautifully dense, with a custard-like texture like bread pudding and a strong truffle flavor. The steak was cooked exactly to our preference (we went with medium) and was so tender and juicy. The smoky char gave it a light crisp on the edges, and we loved this twist on a traditional steak-and-potatoes dish. It was indulgent and unexpected, but all paired so well together. Perfect! After that, we tried the Potato-wrapped Red Snapper for $60. The red snapper comes with Leek Fondue and Cassis-Red Wine Reduction. Red Snapper The snapper is wrapped in thin potato slices, which are fried to a perfect golden brown, giving it a crispy exterior while keeping the white fish inside delicate and meaty. We loved how savory and buttery it was, and it wasn’t overwhelmingly fishy, either. The leek fondue and sauces added sweetness and earthiness, but the leek fondue really stole the show. It was so creamy, rich, and so flavorful that we could drink it. We thought it felt like a Michelin-level dish without being proteinous. We’ve tried every restaurant at Disney World, but this might be one of our favorite fish dishes at Disney without having to go to top-tier fine dining like Victoria & Albert’s. We think the snapper edged out the steak because it was a little more unique and memorable. Crispy on the outside To finish our meal off, we had the Lemonade Mousse for $14. This mousse features Elements of Raspberry, Lemon Pound Cake, and a White Chocolate Shell. Gorgeous! This is served table-side, which is always a fun way to get a dessert! It looked like an actual lemon. Come on, that’s awesome! The mousse had that classic tangy lemon flavor, and we loved the crisp outer shell and the raspberry coulis, which we could tell was made from fresh raspberries. It balanced the lemon perfectly. The base is shortbread-style cake with a little ice cream on the side, and everything worked so well together. It was fresh, tart, and balanced, and was so fun to eat, plus it was so pretty, too. The inside Nosh or Not You should book that reservation at Flying Fish if… You want fine dining that still feels approachable You’re celebrating a special occasion You are trying to book a reservation that’s easier to get You might want to skip if… You’re looking for a faster, more affordable meal You are dining with kids or pickier eaters You want a more casual dining experience More restaurant details Overall We really had a great time at Flying Fish! While it’s fine dining, it didn’t feel stuffy, and we thought the menu felt very thoughtful and not formulaic. The food was packed with flavor and featured many familiar dishes with a twist, which is great for those who want their comfort food but also a special experience. The whole space is beautiful and we really enjoyed all of our dishes. You might want to add Flying Fish to your itinerary. In the meantime, make sure you keep following Disney Food Blog for more! I am obsessed with the Muppets. As I write this, I’m wearing a yellow t-shirt with the Muppets on it, sipping from my Kermit the Frog water bottle, and wearing my Kermit Crocs as slippers. Trust me, no one was more devastated by the Muppets Courtyard closure than I. Farewell MuppetVision Even though it still hurts to hear them actively working on Muppets Courtyard when I visit Hollywood Studios, I’m pretty excited for it to be turned into Monstropolis, one of my favorite Pixar movies. With all the construction, Muppets Courtyard is changing almost every day, and it’s officially the end of an era, as iconic symbols from the area have been taken down. What do you see? Or what you don’t see? There’s no more MuppetVision sign! Go ahead and grab the tissues. I’ll be right here when you’re ready. GONE In some of the concept art for Monstropolis, it looks like the MuppetVision theater is being turned into “The Glob,” which we think is based on the famous Globe Theatre. We know a hanging door roller coaster in the extended part of the land, but we’re thinking the MuppetVision theater is being turned into a new show. Guess we’ll be getting a whole new sign for it! ©Disney Looking up at that clock tower, Gonzo has flown away! He used to hang down from the hands of the clock, but the Great Gonzo must have moved on to his next daring trick (I hope it’s being shot out of a cannon for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets). Where’s Gonzo? Is it weird to say it looks naked? It looks naked! Slowly, Disney is removing and painting over all the Muppet quirks and leaving it to the monsters to take over. Feeling weird! The area closed in June 2025, and almost immediately, Disney removed the Miss Piggy fountain out front but left the other signs of the Muppets for almost another five months. We’re hoping the fountain, marquee sign, and Gonzo are all safe in the archives to be brought back to life in a different way. I don’t even want to think about what’s happening inside the MuppetVision theater (but, uhm, if anyone knows where the penguins are going, please let me know — asking for a friend). from @bioreconstruct on X At least the Muppets aren’t leaving forever! In fact, they aren’t even leaving Hollywood Studios. The Muppets are evicting Aerosmith from their roller coaster and taking over themselves. The Electric Mayhem has a show to play, and we’re going to get to help. ©Disney Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is closing and reopening in 2026, meaning there’s going to be a quick turnaround. The Muppets must be waiting in the wings, ready to join at any given moment. Could 2026 be the year when we finally see lower crowds around Disney World?! Only time will tell, but if you ask us, people have plenty of reasons to hold off on traveling to the Most Magical Place on Earth next year, and that could mean lower crowds for the rest of us. Will crowds be lower at Disney World in 2026? Whether you’re planning a trip to Disney World for 2026 or are just thinking about potentially making the journey, a lot is happening around the parks and beyond that you need to know about — including why crowds could be lower in 2026! We don’t claim to be fortune tellers here at DFB, but we have this sneaking suspicion that Disney World crowds might not be as bad in 2026. At least, there are definitely reasons why we think folks might not want to do a “big Disney trip” next year — from construction to price increases to park expansions and more. Construction Complications If you’re heading to Disney World in 2026, expect to see quite a bit of construction at nearly every theme park and several hotels. Things are changing around Disney World, and that means that lots of things have had to close for those changes to occur — and it also means there will be lots of construction in the process. via @bioreconstruct on X/Twitter At Magic Kingdom, Tom Sawyer Island and Liberty Square Riverboat closed permanently in July to make way for a new Cars-themed area called Piston Peak National Park. Not only that, but the Villains-themed land is in the works as well (though that doesn’t impact day-to-day operations as much). Walls near the Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom Hollywood Studios is changing in more than just one land! On September 25th, Animation Courtyard (which was home to Star Wars Launch Bay and Disney Jr. Play and Dance!) closed to make way for The Walt Disney Studios. This new area will feature The Magic of Disney Animation experience. New artwork on the walls! The Muppets Courtyard at Hollywood Studios also permanently closed in 2025, so that Disney could begin building a new Monsters, Inc. land. Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano, PizzeRizzo, and Muppet*Vision 3D all permanently closed as part of this change. The sign has been covered! Over at Animal Kingdom, DinoLand U.S.A. has been undergoing phased closures since January 2025 for the new Tropical Americas-themed Pueblo Esperanza land. TriceraTop Spin, Fossil Fun Games, Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures, The Boneyard, Trilo-Bites, and Dino-Bite Snacks have all closed. DINOSAUR and Restaurantosaurus will close on February 2nd. Dinoland construction This means that at three of the four Disney World parks, there will be significant construction changes, walls, and closures throughout 2026. Luckily, EPCOT will be relatively construction and closure-free — at least based on the information we have now. Folks who might normally be planning a trip could choose to vacation somewhere else in 2026, so that they can visit Disney World once more of the construction is complete. 2026 Dates You Should Know If You’re a Disney World Fan Park Expansion Postponement This brings us to the people who will be forgoing their 2026 Disney World trips in favor of planning one once all (or most) of these big construction projects are completed. While we don’t have concrete opening dates for any of these major expansions, a few of them are supposed to be completed in 2027 and later, so if you’re planning a once-in-a-lifetime trip, wouldn’t you plan it for once the new lands and rides are open? ©Disney This probably isn’t a large number of people, and of course, there are the die-hard Disney fans who will visit the parks no matter how many construction walls are up and rides are closed, but for the folks who really want to get the most out of their money, it probably makes sense to postpone their trips until they can experience more things. A Full List of New Theme Park Land Expansions Disney Is Planning Price Increases & Pinching Pennies Thousands of price increases hit the Disney World parks in October 2025. Park tickets, Annual Passes, parking, snacks, character dining, merchandise, and a whole lot more will now cost you more in 2026, and with the U.S. Consumer Price Index (CPI) reporting that prices are still increasing with inflation (CNN), it’s entirely possible that people will choose to skip Disney World vacations in 2026 in favor of less expensive trips. Tinker Bell Ticket Design Disney is likely anticipating this downturn in attendance as well — there have been quite a few promotions and discounts released for hotels, vacation packages, and Annual Passes throughout 2026 that might help ease the burden on people’s pockets and encourage them to book with these discounts in mind. Dole Whip There are also things like FREE Dining Plan Deals and special offers for Georgia residents. And, Disney is continuing the free water park deal, which gets all guests staying at a Disney-owned hotel FREE Disney water park tickets on their hotel check-in day — something that Disney has announced is returning during summer 2026. Learn More About the FREE Water Park Perk Here Epic Universe Elopers We don’t know if you’ve heard the news by now, but there’s a BRAND-NEW theme park at Universal Orlando Resort! Epic Universe opened in May 2025, and to say people are obsessed with the park would be an understatement. Though Disney executives have said they’re not concerned that Epic Universe will poach a significant number of people from the parks, we have to wonder how many people who would normally plan a Disney World trip will plan a Universal trip instead. Epic Universe Even if it’s just for part of the time, the new theme park — combined with all the construction currently going on at Disney World — could sway people to Universal’s side for 2026. Epic Universe really is Epic, and with park hopper options now being available for Epic Universe, it will be even easier for folks to plan a multi-day trip. How Long Can You Stay in Epic Universe After It Closes? Cruise Castaways As it turns out, one of Disney’s biggest threats when it comes to theme park attendance and crowds in 2026 may actually be… Disney. The House of Mouse has made a HUGE push with the Disney Cruise Line recently, and cruising is more popular now than ever. The new Disney Wish ship was followed by the Disney Treasure, and now the Disney Destiny and Disney Adventure are preparing to set sail for the very first time. ©Disney | Disney Destiny With so many new cruise ships in the mix, hardcore Disney fans — and even folks who are dipping their toes into the Disney Cruise Line or the world of cruising — could decide to switch things up and go on a cruise instead of planning a trip to Disney World. If you ask us, doing a Disney World trip followed by a Disney Cruise is the way to go, but we know that’s not in the cards for many! Setting Sail with Disney Cruise Line International Incidents A huge factor in what Disney World attendance will look like throughout 2026 is a drop in international visitors, primarily from Canada. The number of Canadian visitors to the United States has decreased over the past seven consecutive months. In September, Visit Lauderdale said that Canadian visitors were down 10% to 16% since April, with 13.5% fewer Canadians flying in. Officials estimate that could mean up to a $90 million loss in economic activity. Canada Pavilion at EPCOT There are some predictions that international travel will ramp back up in 2026, but there’s no guarantee that people will be quick to flock to Florida and Disney World, either. EPCOT We’ll be on the lookout for more updates from Disney World that could impact your 2026 trip and beyond. There are a total of six Disney resorts around the world, with a seventh in development. While Disney World might arguably be the most famous, Disneyland Paris is known for being one of the most beautiful. Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel We recently stopped by Disneyland Paris to check out construction, some snacks, and their latest hotel overhaul at the Hotel New York! We’re taking you through this Marvel-y resort and showing off our favorite details, along with a full tour of the hotel room that costs $1,000 a night. If you didn’t know, over in Disneyland Paris, a lot of things are changing! They’re expanding their second park and giving it a brand-new name. They are also upgrading several of their hotels, and they started by overhauling Hotel New York by transforming it into Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel in 2021. Outside Hotel New York! We followed the updates and changes with the resort, and during our latest stop in Paris, we finally stayed in the re-themed hotel. Once we entered, the lobby blew us away! They had full-size Iron Man suits, Captain America’s shields, and tons of Marvel-inspired artwork. The Lobby! The hotel has over 350 pieces of art created by over 110 international artists! Everywhere you turned, there was a new piece of art. How cool is this?! They even have the characters etched into silver along the columns of the lobby. They were seriously detailed, yet subtle because they needed to catch the light to be seen clearly. That’s the coolest thing we’ve ever seen! How cool is that? It was seriously impressive! Art was everywhere! Enough about the lobby, though, let’s check out the room! We stayed in the Surprior Suite, but don’t be too impressed by the name. This is just this hotel’s version of a standard room. The pricing at Disneyland Paris is per person, per night, and it includes your park tickets. Three of us stayed in the room, so it was $350 per night per person, totaling over $1,000 per night. Superior Room! You can use your phone or a physical card to get into the room. Upon entering, you see an open closet and storage spaces to the left. On the right, you’ll spot the sleek bathroom! The view once you enter In the bathroom, there’s a large mirror, a vanity area, and a storage space underneath the vanity. A look in the restroom! There’s also a glass panel separating the toilet from the standing shower. It doesn’t really offer a ton of privacy, but we guess it’s there? The toilet The bathroom also offers amenities like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. They smelled nice, but you know what was even cooler? A closer look at the amenities! The bathroom has a literal Bluetooth speaker in the walls and ceiling, so you can listen to your favorite songs or YouTube videos while you get ready for the day. Yes, we screamed when we found out because that might be our favorite amenity we’ve ever seen in a Disney hotel room. A BLUETOOTH SPEAKER?! There’s also a full-length mirror outside the bathroom, which we definitely appreciated. We had two queen beds in our Superior suite, and both had benches at the end of the bed where we put on our shoes and kept our bags off the floor. The rest of the room! Each bed had a small shelf on the side to act as a side table and one shared shelf in the middle. There were also lights on either side of the beds for reading, late-night scrolling, or whatever you want a little light for. A good look at the beds! One thing we really loved it each side of the bed has a detailed light switch that turned off the reading lamps, side lamps, and overall room lights in addition to a USB charging port. Not getting up to turn on the lights was a serious plus in our book! The light switch! Across from the beds, there was a desk area with a seat… The desk area! … a coffee bar… The coffee machine! … that comes with tons of options… So many options! …a mini fridge… Mini Fridge! …and a large mirror. OR IS IT? A good view of the mirror It isn’t just a mirror, though. No, it doubles as the room’s TV too! The TV is in the mirror! The TV is located in the mirror, and it even includes a Disney+ subscription during the length of your stay. It gives you the ability to create an account without paying, so you can see if you like it! Disney+ on the TV! The room also features two chairs and a table for relaxing. Underneath the beds, you can also store a large suitcase to get it out of your way as you rush to the parks. This room also features art inspired by Black Widow and the Black Panther! You can see the art here! There was a little window so you could look out on the water and resort atmosphere, which was nice! Our view! The room also comes with the ability to order room service, which we have missed at the Disney World hotels! Room Service! This was the best wakeup call! We tried the cereal, pastries, and hot coffee, which was super convenient before hitting up the park. The resort doesn’t have a traditional quick service like other Disney resorts, so if you need food before the parks open, this might be your only option. Our room service! The room was easily the nicest we stayed in during our time in Disneyland Paris, but it did come with that hefty price tag. The Art of Marvel Room details The rest of the resort offers some fun amenities like the Metro Pool! Metro Pool! If you forgot your swimsuit, no worries! They had a literal swimsuit vending machine, which blew our minds. Swimsuit vending machine! They also had two bars, 2 table service restaurants, and a Marvel Design Studio for kiddos! The Marvel Design Studio! The design studio offers a place for kiddos to draw, do Marvel trivia, and watch Marvel films throughout your stay. I Inside the design studio! They even had workbooks with games and drawing for you to take home or use during your stay. How cute! The Skyline Bar was one of our favorite stops during our stay because the bar faces the “New York skyline,” and we even spotted a few familiar faces flying by. The Skyline Bar options! Outside of the resort, you could also spot massive statues of characters like Captain Marvel… Captain Marvel! …and Iron Man himself! He’s larger than life! This hotel was seriously larger than life, but if we’re being honest, we can’t see past that price tag. The hotel was only a 10-minute walk from the parks, but it was more inspired by the comics than the Marvel films. That means massive Marvel fans can really appreciate the hotel, but not every Marvel fan will love the details. A New York Cab! The room was so nice, the proximity to the parks was a big perk, and we loved the art. That being said, would we pay $1,000 per night again? Not necessarily. That does include your park ticket, which was nice, but that price for normal Disney amenities just seemed too steep. If you put this resort to the test, let us know your thoughts! You know, if we showed you our screen time and how long we spend checking out new Disney merchandise each day, it’d be a little hard to convince people that it’s for our job (though also for fun, we’re suckers for new merchandise). How many ears do you own? Personally, we find that one of our biggest weaknesses is Minnie ears. There are just SO many themed pairs that get released for nearly every holiday, not to mention the designs that debut in between holidays. When there are so many different outfits to wear to the parks, you want to have the perfect pair of ears to match each outfit. There’s only one problem, though — once you have all those ears back home, where do they go? How do you display them? Well, we didn’t really NEED this Disney Amazon find, but we’ll wholeheartedly admit that it makes displaying our ears at home much easier! DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. Keep Your Ears From Getting Smushed At Home! ©Amazon There’s nothing worse than buying the cutest new pair of ears, then looking around your home and realizing the only thing you can do is set them on a shelf somewhere, but there’s a possibility they’ll go unseen, unnoticed, and may get smushed under other things. That’s where the Acrylic Headband Holder Organizer comes in! ©Amazon This holder can comfortably hold multiple pairs of ears, and the clear design makes it easy to blend into practically any room. You can place it on a shelf, on top of a dresser, in a closet, etc., and easily be able to see all the ears you have available. ©Amazon You can also use it for other headbands you may have (do people still wear headbands? I LOVED them as a kid), or other larger hair accessories. We genuinely had to buy two because of how many ears we have, but hey, at least they’re organized now! Grab yourself one here! We’re always bringing you the latest Disney merchandise news, so stay tuned to DFB! The post I Didn't Even Need This Disney Amazon Find, But I Bought 2 first appeared on the disney food blog. Okay, so who’s counting down the days until the next Disney movie hits screens? (Us…it’s us). Yep, Zootopia 2 will arrive in theaters on November 26th, and we are so ready to see what Nick, Judy, and all the citizens of Zootopia have been up to since the first movie dropped in 2016 (yep, it’s been 10 years!). ©Disney Well, the movie will be introducing some new characters, including Gary the Snake (voiced by the incredible Ke Huy Quan), and Gary is now the star of his very own popcorn bucket that will be available exclusively at Regal Theatres. That’s right, a Gary the Snake popcorn bucket is available at Regal Theatres, and it’s basically a popcorn bucket shaped like Gary. It’s actually pretty cool, and we love how movie theaters have really been jumping on the popcorn bucket trend (seriously, it took them long enough, right?). So if you collect Disney popcorn buckets, this might be one you’ll want to get your hands on. ©Regal Theatres So who exactly is Gary? Well, in Zootopia 2, Nick and Judy are hot on the heels of a mysterious reptile named Gary, which turns Zootopia upside down. The two eventually must team up with Gary and go undercover to new parts of the city to crack the case. FUN. Zootopia 2 at 2024’s D23 It’s also a great time to be a Zootopia fan. Not only did an entire Zootopia land recently open in Shanghai Disneyland (and y’all…it’s INCREDIBLE), but a new Zootopia-themed show is coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Zootopia: Better Zoogether, which is opening there on November 7th. Okay, I’ll be honest. I’m terrified of snakes, but Gary is winning me over, plus I’m a huge fan of Quan (I mean…his career trajectory from the kid in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom to the Loki series to Everything Everywhere All at Once is inspiring!). As we’re the Disney Food Blog, it means it’s our job to keep a close eye on all the latest Disney food news hitting the resort, and it’s certainly a job we love! ©People There are HUNDREDS of restaurants all over Disney World, and while it’s a lot to keep up with them all, it helps that we’re in the parks nearly every day checking things out, and our team at home constantly stays up-to-date on Disney’s website and menu changes. Whenever a viral trend takes over the internet, we start to watch Disney even closer, because it’s usually only a matter of time before they join in on it. We were pretty surprised when Disney didn’t jump on the Dubai chocolate trend within months of it becoming popular and then STAYING popular, but it appears now that’s all changed! Dubai Chocolate has officially landed at THREE different spots in Disney World, so if you’ve been craving the flavor but not paying an arm and a leg to have it shipped to you, this is the way to go. Joffrey’s in Disney Springs Joffrey’s just announced about a week ago that their NEW flavor, Dubai Chocolate, is now available on their website. We’ve also seen flavors on the website appear at their Disney World stores, whether by the bag or as a flavor on the menu, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled — we’ll let you know if/when we see it! @joffreyscoffeeandtea on Instagram If you want a Dubai Chocolate flavor right here, right now, head on over to Ghirardelli in Disney Springs to try the Dubai Style Chocolate Sundae! This was released just over two months ago and features smooth vanilla ice cream, rich handmade hot fudge, creamy pistachio butter, toasted kataifi mixed with white chocolate, and sea salt. Then, it’s topped with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and a Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Caramel SQUARE. @disneysprings on Instagram Finally, you can head on over to Summer House on the Lake, also in Disney Springs, to grab their Dubai Chocolate Cookie! This was released back around June 30th, so this was the first spot to really take on the trend in the Disney bubble. ©Summer House on The Lake Just like the classic Dubai Chocolate bar that went viral online, this has chocolate and pistachio, just in cookie form! It’s being served across all Summer House on the Lake locations, and while it was released many months ago, there hasn’t been any announcement that it’s no longer available. ©Summer House on the Lake We fully expect to see more Disney World locations join in on this trend as well, and we’ll be sure to keep you updated on them all. Magic Kingdom was again the most visited theme park in the world last year, an attendance report says. Walt Disney World’s original attraction drew 17.84 million guests in 2024, an increase of 0.7% over 2023, according to the TEA Global Experience Index. Disneyland park in California was second in the worldwide rankings with 17.34 million visitors, an increase of 0.5%. The other Disney World theme parks also recorded increases. Epcot attendance was up 1.3% to 12.13 million, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios had 10.33 guests, a 0.3% increase. Those figures put Epcot in the No. 8 position worldwide with Hollywood Studios at No. 9. Disney’s Animal Kingdom is in the 15th slot with 8.8 million visitors, an increase of 0.3%. The estimate for Magic Kingdom would indicate a daily average of more than 48,800 guests in 2024. Both of Universal Orlando’s theme parks saw decreases in attendance in 2024, according to the report. Universal Studios Florida had 9.5 million visitors, a dip of 2.6%, edging out Islands of Adventure with 9.45 million guests, a drop of 5.5%. Those parks are 13th and 14th, respectively, on the global list; they held the opposite spots for 2023. Islands of Adventure visitors splash down on the Jurassic Park River Adventure ride this fall. Attendance at the Universal park dropped 5.5% in 2024, according to a recent report. (Dewayne Bevil/Orlando Sentinel) Epic Universe was not yet in operation in the time period covered by the report. The biggest gainers on the list were Universal Studios Beijing (8.6% for 9.78 million guests), Shanghai Haichange Ocean Park (10.3% for 4.73 million) and China Dinosaurs Park of Changzhou (25.1% for 5.38 million.) Chimelong Spaceship of Hengqin, China, touted as the world’s largest indoor theme park, recorded an increase of 241.1%, but the attraction only had trial operations in 2023, beginning in mid-September. The index says Spaceship had 4.62 million visitors in 2024, landing it in the No. 25 spot of the global list. SeaWorld Orlando had 4.35 million visitors in 2024, the report said, a 0.1% increase. That fell short of making the worldwide list, which goes ranks up to 25 parks. SeaWorld is 11th on the list of U.S. parks attendance. The biggest domestic gainer was Knott’s Berry Farm in California, which saw a 6.5% attendance increase in ’24, allowing the park to make the top 10 on the U.S. list with 4.5 million visitors. The complete top 10 worldwide list, counting down from the top, includes Magic Kingdom, Disneyland, Universal Studios Japan, Tokyo DIsneyland, Shanghai Disneyland, Chimelong Ocean Kingdom of China, Tokyo DisneySea, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Disneyland Paris. The TEA Global Experience Index (previously known as the TEA / AECOM Theme Park and Museum Index) is produced by the Themed Entertainment Association with research partners Entertainment + Culture Advisers and the Park Database as well as Storybook Studios and InPark Magazine. The index is compiled using statistics furnished by the park operators, historical numbers, financial reports, local tourism organizations, national and international attraction associations, mobile location analytics and “professional estimates where necessary,” the report reads. “This year’s edition reveals a strong and evolving global marketplace, with the COVID recovery period now appearing to have finally stabilized across regions,” Ben Thompson, CEO of Storyland Locations, writes in the report. “In Europe and the Americas, steady performance prevails, with North America growing more modestly than global averages as operators sharpen their focus on revenue strategies,” Thompson said. Magic Kingdom has held the top spot in the global rankings for more than 25 years. In 1996, when the report was compiled by the now-defunct Amusement Business trade publication, the list was topped by Tokyo Disneyland, followed by Anaheim’s Disneyland. Magic Kingdom was third. Ricardo Ramirez Buxeda, Orlando SentinelDisney's Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon water parks have been closed since March. The company says one will reopen in the spring of 2021. In the 2024 water park figures, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon topped the U.S. list with 1.82 million, a decrease of 4.3% from 2023. Universal’s Volcano Bay was second with 1.65 million visitors, a drop of 8.3%. SeaWorld Orlando’s Aquatica, the third-most visited water park in the country, slipped 0.1% to 1.44 million. Disney’s Blizzard Beach was down 1.4% to 897,000 visitors, landing in fifth on the list, and Discovery Cove was down 1.9% with 369,000 guests. The SeaWorld day resort was No. 18 on the list. The world’s top-attended water park in 2024 was Chimelong Water Park in China, recording 2.81 million visitors, an increase of 0.1%. Aquaventure World in the United Arab Emirates rode a 11.1% surge to be No. 2 on the list with its 2 million visitors. The index also monitors museum attendance. Five of the six top-visited institutions in 2024 were in China, including top-ranked Palace Museum of Beijing, which had 17 million visitors, a 17.2% increase. The most-visited U.S. museum was the Metropolitian Museum of Art in New York City with 5.73 million guests in 2024. That made it 12th on the worldwide list. Now is the perfect time to start planning your trip to Universal Orlando! Universal Orlando The other big theme park resort in the Central Florida area is a hot ticket right now, with the newly added Epic Universe having opened in May 2025. Plenty of people are adding Universal to their 2026 vacation lineup, and if you’re in that boat, we’ve got some top tips to share for your trip! Spend More on Your Hotel to Save in the Parks One of the best tips for Universal Orlando is one that has been around a while, but we just keep coming back to it! If you stay at Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, or Hard Rock Hotel, you’ll get Universal Express Unlimited included with your stay for everyone in your hotel room. These are three of Universal Orlando’s most expensive resorts, but the value of this perk is pretty high. Hard Rock Hotel Express Unlimited allows access to any of the attractions with Express entrances as many times as you want. It can save you a ridiculous amount of time in your day! If you purchased Express Unlimited outright, the cost STARTS at $129.99 per person, so that could add up quickly for a group. Why Does Everyone Say Universal’s Express Pass Is Better Than Disney’s? Stay as Late as Possible If you want to get the most bang for your buck and the lowest wait times, the trick when visiting Universal Orlando’s parks is to stay as late as possible. Visitors often exit these parks earlier in the evening since their nighttime shows aren’t quite as popular as the ones in Disney parks, meaning the crowds die down after dark. Celestial Park In the past, we’ve been able to walk directly onto rides in the last hour of the day at the Universal theme parks, and this even goes for the new park, Epic Universe. There, the main things to note are that the Celestial Park attractions get longer waits at night (because they have special lighting effects), and that Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry can sometimes close early because it hits capacity in the evening. Click Here to Learn About Early Mornings in Epic Universe! Invest in a Fanny Pack Perhaps one of the most important tips for visiting Universal Orlando is one that seems incredibly simple — invest in a fanny pack. Most of Universal Orlando’s thrill rides operate with a complimentary locker system for storing your belongings. Instead of using a pouch on the back of the seat or sitting your backpack at your feet, you’ll likely have to stow it in a locker before you board. Dark Universe Lockers But in many cases, if you have a fanny pack that is strapped to your body and won’t interfere with the seating/safety restraints, you’ll be allowed to wear it on the ride. That can save you quite a bit of time in your day! The three exceptions to this rule are The Incredible Hulk Coaster, VelociCoaster, and Stardust Racers, all of which have metal detectors before you board. A Word of Warning About the Ride Lockers at Epic Universe Download the App! Before you head to Universal Orlando, make sure you download the resort’s app! You’ll be able to link your tickets, mobile order food, navigate around the resort with maps, check wait times, and more. ©Universal However, there are two big features that really stand out with the Universal Orlando app. First, you’ll have access to UniversalPlay, which lets you keep track of Wizarding World spells when using a 2nd-generation wand, track your progress when using Power-Up Bands in Super Nintendo World, or customize your gameplay on Villain-Con Minion Blast. Our band The other big perk of the Universal app is that you can set wait time alerts. If the wait time for a ride you want to do is too high right now, you can set an alert for, say, 45 minutes, and when that wait time drops to 45 minutes, the app will send you a notification. Pretty handy! We’re Begging You to STOP Sleeping on Universal Orlando Stay Hydrated With…Coca-Cola? If you’re a soda goblin like we are, then you need to take note of this last tip! Around Universal Orlando Resort, you can purchase refillable Coca-Cola Freestyle cups. You’ll be able to take that cup to Coca-Cola Freestyle machines and soda stations around the park to get beverages all. day. long. My ol’ reliable refillable mug! But the best part? You can reactivate the mug for each day of your trip, using it again and again. You can even bring it back to the parks months or years later to use! It’s a really great way to save on beverages and stay hydrated. There you go — some of our most useful tips for heading to Universal Orlando. Especially for those who are typically Disney fans, these could come in handy during your travels. Stay tuned to DFB for more tips on theme parks! Halloween is THIS Friday, and while we cannot believe that the month flew by so quickly, it also means we’re closer to one of our FAVORITE parts of the Halloween season in Disney World. Yo-Ho, Yo-Ho! Yes, we love Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, but we ALSO are big fans of a particular offering over at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort — the Halloween Golf Cart Parade. This event is so popular, in fact, that only a very SELECT group of people can attend — are you one of those lucky few? Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort hosts an incredible Halloween parade each year, but this isn’t hosted by Disney or even Cast Members. No, it’s Fort Wilderness Resort hotel guests that put it together! TRON Lightcycle / Run golf cart And this parade isn’t just any parade — the “floats” are golf carts from participants and the resort, and they’re decorated INCREDIBLY. While they’re all Disney themed, we’ve seen TRON, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Haunted Mansion, and so many more. Each year, they totally blow our minds. Is this haunted golf cart actually stretching? Here’s the thing, though — this event is SO popular that not everyone can attend. In fact, you have to stay at Fort Wilderness Resort during the event to see the parade, as well as participate. However, it doesn’t matter if you’re staying at a cabin or a campsite; all guests of the hotel are welcome to this event. Even if you’ve grabbed a dining reservation here, that won’t be enough to let you see the parade. Halloween Golf Cart Parade Extravaganza Now, if you are staying at Fort Wilderness and plan to watch the parade, here’s what you need to know! The parade takes place on October 30th at around 4 PM. As for the parade route, it starts at the hitching area right by the front entrance and follows the longer (straighter) stretch of road through the Meadow section, which is where they’ll pass by the judges’ tent. The judges narrow down all the incredible entries to just six finalists, who are judged by other guests at the campground to crown one winner. This is Halloween! This truly is SUCH a fun event, and if you’re staying at Fort Wilderness, it’s absolutely a must-do. Now, if you’re not staying at the resort, no worries — you can see plenty of fantastic Halloween decorations if you visit Fort Wilderness on Halloween and take a stroll around the resort, as many people decorate their campsites. Or, you can head into Magic Kingdom to check out all the Halloween decor that’s up currently, now through October 31st. Fort Wilderness Railroad Looking for more recent Disney hotel news? According to multiple sources, including Deadline, Disneyland Resort has laid off about 100 Cast Members. Sleeping Beauty Castle in Disneyland These Cast Members were from multiple departments and include “a limited number of salaried positions.” “As part of this, we’ve made the difficult decision to eliminate a limited number of salaried positions. We are deeply grateful for the contributions of these Cast Members and are committed to supporting them with care and respect, and resources during this transition.” Main Street, U.S.A. This is not the first round of layoffs this year. 115 employees were laid off earlier in the year who worked for the Disney Store (previously known as shopDisney). In 2023, Disney laid off about 7,000 employees, which was one of the largest we’ve seen in recent years. Have you been wondering when Magic Kingdom’s new snack spot might open? We recently learned that Cool Ship has permanently closed in Tomorrowland, but it’s being replaced by a new snack stand called AstroFizz. ©Disney AstroFizz will be serving up popcorn, churros, and drinks, but Disney didn’t confirm an opening date for the new dining spot. HOWEVER, Disney did sort of already confirm when it would be open…and that is by November 7th. We’ll tell you why we think this. So Disney World just released it’s full list of menus for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, which is a separately ticketed event happening in Magic Kingdom on select nights from November 7th through 21st. Well, that list of menus included a special party-exclusive snack at Astro Fizz, a Cherry-White Chocolate Slushy. AstroFizz construction Well, Astro Fizz couldn’t offer a snack at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party if it isn’t open, right? And the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is November 7th, so you don’t have to be Sherlock Holmes to deduce that AstroFizz will be open on or before November 7th. Which is literally SOON. We did check the Disney World website for November 7th, and it’s not yet showing hours for AstroFizz, but that’s no biggie. The actual opening date might not be set in stone yet, but we still think it will be on or before that date. Disney wouldn’t have mentioned it as an exclusive snack spot for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party otherwise. ©Disney In addition to this exclusive snack, Astro Fizz will offer a variety of slushies, a special churro (please, Disney World, please give us fresh churros like in Disneyland!), popcorn, and other snacks and drinks. ©Disney We’ll be keeping an eye on the AstroFizz construction in Disney World and keep you updated, so stay tuned to DFB for more. Disney+ is growing once again. Disney’s Hulu + Live TV business will now include content from FuboTV Inc., thanks to a new deal. The partnership combines Fubo’s business with Disney’s Hulu + Live TV business. Hulu sign in Disney’s Hollywood Studios FuboTV Inc. and The Walt Disney Company announced they have closed a transaction to combine Fubo and Hulu + Live TV. This deal creates the sixth-largest Pay TV company in the U.S, with nearly 6 million subscribers in North America. Fubo and Hulu + Live TV customers will now be able to watch over 55,000 live sporting events, along with “entertainment-focused programming offerings.” This partnership will also add new streaming options for Disney+ customers. Disney confirmed that Fubo and Hulu + Live TV will continue to be available to consumers as separate and distinct services, each offering multiple plan options. For example, Disney explains: Hulu + Live TV will continue to be streamed in the Hulu app and offered as part of a bundle with Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN Unlimited Fubo will continue to serve viewers in the Fubo app Disney+ Hulu bundle This transaction gives Disney about 70% interest in the newly combined company, and existing Fubo shareholders hold about 30% interest. ©Disney Fubo is a streaming platform that allows customers to watch live television — like ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, ESPN — without cable TV. This will increase the number of channels Hulu customers can access, providing more options than ever before. ©Hulu At this time, Disney+ offers several bundle options. You can choose to bundle three streaming services, or just Disney+ and Hulu. Options include: Disney+: Movies and TV shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic Hulu: On-demand shows and movies, including full seasons of exclusive series, current TV hits, past seasons, movies, Hulu Originals, kids shows, and more ESPN: ESPN Select: Content from the ESPN+ library — thousands of live sporting events, the complete 30 for 30 library, and on-demand sports content that includes games, news highlights, ESPN Originals, and more ESPN Unlimited: Everything included with ESPN Select, plus live access to all of ESPN’s networks and services – including ESPN and ESPN 2 – in addition to ESPN on ABC sporting events ©Disney This news also comes shortly after Disney announced some significant price increases across the board. For the base Disney+ plan, the previous price with ads was $10 a month, and it is now going to $12. For an ad-free experience, the previous price was $16 and is going to $19. That’s about a 20% increase for the option with ads and a little less than 19% for the ad-free version. For the Hulu and Disney+ bundle, the ad-supported version is going from $11 to $13, and the ad-free version is staying the same at $20. That’s an 18% increase! ©Disney Here are a few more price changes with different Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN bundles: Hulu (with ads) — $10 to $12 ESPN Select (with ads) — $12 to $13 Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN (with ads) — $17 to $20 Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN (no ads) — $27 to $30 Hulu with Live TV, Disney+, and ESPN (with ads) — $83 to $90 Hulu with Live TV, Disney+, and ESPN (no ads) — $96 to $100 Hulu with Live TV (with ads) — $82 to $89 ©Disney In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney+ news, so stay tuned for more. I’m a sucker for seasonal decorations at theme parks. There’s just something so beautiful about seeing a park I know and love, with twinkling lights and garland, turned into a winter wonderland, despite being in Orlando, Florida. Ready for the holidays! This is our first winter season with Epic Universe, Universal Orlando’s newest addition, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic just got a festive makeover with the flick of a wand. We were heading towards Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry when we saw a glimpse of green garlands and snowflakes. Hm, I think we have to get closer to see all the magic! Come on in! There they are! There are bushes of garland with red flowers in them. We couldn’t go full “snow-capped trees” in Florida, just the hints of the holiday are perfect. You have to look a little closer to notice the details Obsessed is an understatement! The gold wreaths match the land perfectly and make us feel like we’re really in Paris. Love the gold! Here’s a closer look! Are those snakes we see? Must be a Slytherin nod. So stunning There’s more garland around the top of the shop buildings. They’re pretty high up, so they must have been teaching the students new spells to help hang all the decorations. Do you think they were hung up with care? These wreath swirls have red ribbon. If you haven’t visited Epic Universe before, it’s easy to miss them because they blend so well into the theming. We’ll have to come back at night and see if there are lights twinkling. Even more Eek! It’s PINK! I love the snowflakes hanging in the windows and how they all look different. The pink ribbons are so pretty, too. The pink is so pretty We’re so glad Epic Universe got a taste of the holidays. We’ll be keeping our eyes open to see if more pop up as we get closer to Christmas, but in the meantime, make sure you keep following Disney Food Blog for more.
