Okay, so we know there are a lot of unique foods and snacks you can have in Disney World, not to mention all the fun Mickey-shaped treats. But sometimes, you know, you just want a really good burger. Smash Burger Now, not all burgers in Disney World are made equally, and let’s just say that the ones in the parks haven’t always done much to wow us. But in Disney Springs, you can find some pretty good burgers in several restaurants, but one of our favorite burgers has just returned…and we’re STOKED. Wine Bar George (yep, one of our FAVORITE Disney World restaurants) has confirmed that its Smash Burger is BACK on the menu. Now, we had this burger earlier in the year, and we’ve been counting down the days until its return. It’s grilled fresh to order and y’all…it’s so good. Look at those patties go! When we had it earlier this year, we thought it was wonderfully juicy and cheesy. It even has a sauce that reminds us a lot of a Big Mac sauce, but it tastes fresh, as if made in-house. The pickles were also crispy and refreshing. It’s nothing out of the box, but it’s a solidly good burger in a place where you usually have to hunt down good burgers. So a win is a win, right? A look at the inside! Note that the Smash Burger is only on Wine Bar George’s lunch menu, so it looks like you can’t order them for dinner. If you’re craving a good lunch in Disney Springs, you might want to pop by to order a burger. Stay tuned to DFB for more. It’s time for one of Disney World’s BEST ride overlays to come out of hibernation! The Jingle Cruise! The holiday season is about to kick off in Disney World, and with it comes peppermint treats, red and green merchandise in every shop, and of course, a nearly ridiculous amount of Christmas decorations. But one of the best parts of the holiday season? The Jingle Cruise! The Jungle Cruise is one of Magic Kingdom’s most beloved rides, an opening day attraction with a hefty fanbase. But once a year, The Jungle Cruise goes from “ha ha ha” to “ho ho ho” with a special seasonal overlay…The Jingle Cruise! Jingle Cruise is returning! With this overlay, the ride will be decked out in kitschy, quirky Christmas and holiday decor. From khaki wreaths to new, punny names for the jungle boats, the ride really gets a top-to-bottom makeover. And guess what? It starts TOMORROW, November 3rd! This is so fun! Unlike some other holiday overlays, you don’t have to attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party to check out this attraction. The Jingle Cruise operates all day, every day during the holiday season, including during party hours. If you want to see more of the sight gags and details, it’s best to ride it during the day, but if you’re interested in the Christmas lights effects, then ride at night. A little boat modification for the holidays Perhaps the best part of this overlay is that the Jungle Cruise skippers wear khaki Santa hats and change up their jokes to fit the season! Who doesn’t love a good holiday pun?! Jingle Cruise This typically isn’t the only ride overlay we see during the holiday season. If you’ve purchased tickets to the Christmas party, you’ll also be able to see holiday overlays on Space Mountain, Mad Tea Party, and Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor. (To make sure you have time to do all four, you might want to ride Jingle Cruise before the party starts!) Mad Tea Party during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party So if you’re heading to Disney World in the coming weeks and months, don’t miss out on this holly jolly overlay! Stay tuned to DFB for all the holiday news. 5 Major Changes Coming to Disney World in November DON'T MISS A MOMENT OF HOLIDAY MAGIC Holidays at Disney World: DFB's Merriest Guide is a one-of-a-kind resource that will help you get the most out of your holiday vacation at Walt Disney World. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure might look cute and harmless, but let’s just say it packs a few surprises that I wish I’d known about before hopping into my rat-mobile for the first time. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure This ride in EPCOT’s France Pavilion is one of the park’s most popular newer attractions, and for good reason — it’s immersive, adorable, and a total hit with Pixar fans. But after riding it a few times, I can confidently say there are a few things I really wish I’d known ahead of time to make the experience smoother, faster, and a little less dizzying. So if you’re planning to ride Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure soon, here are three key tips that will save you time, help you get a better experience, and maybe even save you from a queasy afternoon in World Showcase. Not Knowing About the Single Rider Line Let’s start with what might be one of EPCOT’s best-kept secrets — this ride actually has a single rider line! And if you didn’t know that before, don’t feel bad. Disney doesn’t always advertise it as clearly as it could be, and it’s easy to miss, especially if you’re rushing through the France Pavilion or just following the main standby line signs. Single Rider Line at Remy’s If you’re visiting EPCOT solo, or you don’t mind splitting up your group, the single rider line can be a major time-saver. Wait times for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure can easily climb over an hour (and often do). The single rider line, on the other hand, can get you on the ride in a fraction of that — sometimes in as little as 15 or 20 minutes, depending on the day and crowds. Wait time There is a trade-off, of course. You’ll skip some of the main queue, which means missing out on a few fun details and pre-show moments. But if you’ve already experienced the ride before, or you’re short on time, this is hands-down one of the easiest ways to fit Remy into your day without losing valuable park time. Trying to Rope Drop from the Front of EPCOT Rope dropping Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure from the main EPCOT entrance might sound like a good idea in theory — until you realize just how far away it is from the front of the park. The attraction is located in the back of the France Pavilion, tucked deep into World Showcase, which means you’ll be doing a lot of fast walking before you even get close. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure The real move? Rope drop from the International Gateway entrance instead. This entrance is located between the United Kingdom and France Pavilions, and it’s far less crowded first thing in the morning (and significantly closer). You can access it easily if you’re staying at one of the EPCOT-area hotels, like Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, the Yacht or Beach Club Resorts, or even the Swan and Dolphin. It’s also a quick walk if you’re taking the Disney Skyliner from Hollywood Studios or one of the Skyliner resorts. International Gateway From there, you’re practically right next door to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure — meaning you’ll beat most of the crowd coming from the front of the park. It’s one of those insider EPCOT hacks that really pays off if you’re trying to maximize your time and minimize long waits. Underestimating How Nauseating It Would Be This ride is a trackless dark ride that uses screens, motion, and smell effects to make you feel like you’ve shrunk down to the size of a rat scurrying through Gusteau’s kitchen. And while it’s super impressive technology, the constant darting around, sudden spins, and transitions between screen-based scenes and physical sets can mess with your senses — especially if you’re prone to motion sickness. Ride Vehicle After my first ride, I’ll be honest — I needed a break. And I’ve since learned that I’m not the only one. The good news is that Disney will be switching the ride from 3D to 2D next month, which should help a lot of riders going forward. But if you know you’re sensitive, my advice is to skip the ride until after the changeover (so you won’t have to deal with 3D glasses), or plan to take a breather in the shade afterward (France has plenty of cozy spots to recover with a pastry). Hey, Remy! So, to recap: There’s a single rider line that can save you tons of time, rope dropping from the International Gateway is the way to go, and if you’re sensitive to motion, maybe brace yourself — or at least don’t ride it right after lunch. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is one of EPCOT’s most charming attractions, and with these tips, you can make the most of it without any surprises. Whether you’re there for the technology, the theming, or just to feel like you’re part of the movie, a little preparation goes a long way. IT’S TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CHRISTMAS!!!!!!! While my own Christmas tree is still in the box, Magic Kingdom has beat me to it and has brought the holly jolly through the streets of Main Street, U.S.A., and we’re bringing the magic to you! Whether you’re getting excited for an upcoming holiday trip to Disney World and live vicariously through photos, here’s a look at Disney World during the holidays. While waiting to scan into the parks, the red and green already caught our eye. Do you see what I see? I spy something red! Then, BAM, the wreaths! These wreaths are one of the most iconic symbols of Christmastime at Disney World, and we love the red ribbon and the small ornaments inside. Wreaths! Stores on Main Street, like the Emporium, are all lined with long garlands and more ribbons. So much garland City Hall is all decked out, too! The red and white bows are so pretty and remind me of candy canes. It’s everywhere you look When you visit, don’t forget to take some time to admire all the details. It feels like the closer you look, the more magic you notice. A closer look While we were distracted by the wreaths, I don’t think we missed it — the Christmas tree is still not up! Here’s a picture from last year. It’s right after you enter the train station by the Minnie and Roy statue, so more Christmas is still to come. Christmas tree in 2024 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, the holiday after-hours party in Magic Kingdom, runs from November 7th to December 21st, and we usually see all the final decorations pop up before the first party night. If you haven’t been to a party before, they’re a great way to enjoy exclusive entertainment, snacks, and characters, and take the holidays to the next level. A closer look at the details We followed the wreaths down Main Street all the way to the castle, which had even more wreaths on the lampposts. Check out all the hidden details on it. There are so many! Ribbons, ribbons, and more ribbons! I love seeing ribbons for the holidays, so it’s so beautiful to see them within the park. Oh, you thought you mastered the art of Disney World’s skip-the-line service? You finally memorized all the rides included in the Lightning Lane Multi Pass? Think again! A big change is coming to Lightning Lane Multi Pass at Disney’s Animal Kingdom this month, and we have all the new details you need to know before your trip. Tree of Life in Disney’s Animal Kingdom The newest addition to Animal Kingdom, Zootopia: Better Zoogether!, is almost here (and we got a special preview!). With a new attraction coming to the park, that means the way you plan your day could be different now. Who’s ready to celebrate Zoogether Day? The brand-new show, Zootopia: Better Zoogether, is joining Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and we’re so excited. The show is in the Tree of Life theatre, where “It’s Tough to Be a Bug” used to be, and it will open on November 7th. Zootopia: Better Zoogether! Sign We got the chance to see the new show already and shared all our thoughts and alllll the details. We have been eagerly awaiting the opening of this new show since it was announced back in 2023, so getting to preview it before its official opening date was amazing! We love the animatronic! We’re not the only ones thrilled about this new attraction; tons of Disney fans will be rushing to Animal Kingdom to check it out. You know what that means…busy crowds and long lines at this brand-new show! Zootopia: Better Zoogether! One of the best ways to make the most of your day at Disney World is to buy the Lightning Lane Multi Pass, which lets you “skip the line” at several Disney World rides. When buying it for Animal Kingdom, there are only a few attractions currently open and part of the Multi Pass service, especially since Flight of Passage isn’t included (arguably Animal Kingdom’s most popular ride). Well, Lightning Lane Multi Pass is about to change as a new attraction is added to that list. Lightning Lane at Zootopia: Better Zoogether! Disney had already announced that Zootopia: Better Zoogether! WILL be included in the Lightning Lane Multi Pass — and we don’t want you to forget! It will officially be available on the attraction’s opening date, November 7th. The Lightning Lane Multi Pass is going to be popular, so make sure you get it early. So many posters! Do Disney Adults born in the ’90s have it the BEST? Seriously, born in the middle of one of Disney’s greatest movie eras (we love you, Disney Renaissance), visited the parks for the first time during some of their most iconic years (RIP to the Streets of America and old EPCOT), and they now have disposable income (hopefully, tbh) in a season when Disney’s focusing on the nostalgia of the 20th century? Sounds like the LIFE. Magic Kingdom’s Cinderella Castle If you’re now a 90s kid living their Disney Adult dream, things may look a little different than they did when you were growing up…and that’s okay! We’ve rounded up some of the most important park essentials for people born in the 90s — some fun, and some a little more, ahem, realistic. DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. Get something to save your feet! ©Amazon We hate to tell you, but it might be time to start taking preventative measures when it comes to all that theme park walking! When you’re no longer a teenager, it’s easy for your feet, ankles, legs, and knees to get incredibly sore after a park day or two, and these Dr. Scholl’s Prevent Pain Insoles for Women can help. View on Amazon This sunscreen is a lifesaver Supergoop! In your 20s and 30s, it’s all about taking skincare seriously, and that means we’ve got to be EXTRA cautious when you’re walking around under that intense Florida sun. One of our favorite products to use is this Supergoop! Unseen Clear Face Sunscreen. It has SPF 40, and it’s a great primer for your makeup. View on Amazon We love the setting powder, too! ©Amazon The same brand also has this incredible Supergoop! (Re) setting Mineral Powder. It’s translucent and has SPF 35 to help keep you from getting burned. It comes in a few different shades and lies perfectly on top of any makeup you wear. View on Amazon For chafing prevention, this is a MUST ©Amazon One of the biggest problems you may face in the parks is chafing, and trust us, you’ll want to avoid that at all costs! The Megababe Thigh Rescue Anti-Chafe Stick is seriously helpful in that regard, and we recommend keeping one in your park bag. View on Amazon Don’t forget a pair of sunglasses! ©Amazon Now that we’re getting older, doing the parks without sunglasses sounds like a form of discomfort I simply do not care to endure. These Knockaround Fort Knocks Polarized Sunglasses come in a few different styles and will look great with any theme park fit! View on Amazon Now, on to the fun stuff! ©Amazon Now that we’ve got those not-as-fun survival products out of the way, let’s talk about some fun and nostalgic ways to level up your park style! Bucket hats were big in the ’90s, and they’ve made a comeback. We love this Disney Winnie The Pooh Bucket Hat on Amazon. View on Amazon You need a cool tee? ©Amazon If it’s time to level up your theme park t-shirt game, then we’ve got one that’s perfect for the ’90s kids! Something NEW just arrived at Universal Studios Orlando, and we got to be one of the first people to check it out! Let us tell you, this is going to be popular…it’s gonna be popuuular! Wicked: The Experience Universal previously announced that a NEW version of Wicked: The Experience would be coming to the park on October 31st, and we got to check out this new version. It’s filled with new treats, merchandise, and costumes worn in the movie Wicked. We were so excited that we had to share it with you — if you’re a Wicked fan, you won’t want to miss this! When you start going through the experience, some of it does look exactly the same as it did before the Wicked: For Good sequel was announced. Areas like the meet-and-greet and the first rooms with costumes, most notably, hadn’t changed much — but they are still amazing. A lot of the costumes are replicas, but there are some SCREEN-USED ones in there, too! Glinda costume! Yes, some were actually worn in the films — INCLUDING the new Wicked: For Good ones in the glass case. They have a Wizard costume, a Madame Morrible costume, and a Fiyero costume — all of which were actually worn in the new movie. REAL celebrities touched those outfits! So cool! There is also a BIG new photo op where the bubble used to be located. This photo op is a yellow brick road, featuring a replica of Glinda and Elphaba’s dresses, as well as the Wicked: For Good logo. We loved this photo op spot, and may have posed a few times! New photo op spot! There was a lot of NEW merchandise available! Wicked merchandise! Like…TONS of merchandise! More merch! We were told that 80% of the merchandise is new — and there was a lot of stuff there that we hadn’t seen before. It’s so hard to choose! Every time we thought we saw it all, there was always more around the corner. This really is the place every Wicked fan dreams of experiencing! MORE MERCH! There were also some really cool displays out — like this set of Glinda’s side of the dorm room. You can see Elphaba’s hat on her bed. Glinda’s side of the room! There was also a replica of Glinda’s nightgown — how gorgeous! Glinda’s nightgown! There were also collectible Wicked pressed pennies! Squished ‘Wicked’ pennies Our tour also featured a variety of tasty treats and drinks that will be available around Universal Orlando, and we got to try a few of them! The first thing we had was the Emerald City Focaccia. This was quite good! The focaccia was flaky and crispy on the outside but soft and airy on the inside, and had great flavor. We love the sandwich filling too — particularly the pesto and the egg. The pesto looks great, with its super vibrant green color, and the egg really elevates it beyond a basic sandwich. Emerald City Focaccia Next, we had the Yellow Road Shake, which was a dulce de leche shake. It was a total burst of caramel flavor when you take a sip. We loved how indulgent the first sip was, but after that, it started to get a bit TOO sweet! We recommend sharing this unless you have a major sweet tooth. Yellow Road Shake WOOOOO — WE LOVE THIS Wizards Elixir Shake! This is a mint cookie shake, basically, and it was delicious. The best part is the layer of cookies, which we can only describe as like a cookie/Oreo slurry. It’s incredibly easy to drink through a straw and pairs perfectly with the mint. We honestly started to think this is one of the best shakes we’ve had in a while. Wizards Elixir Shake Lastly, we tried the Strawberriful Waffle. Surprisingly, we weren’t super big fans of this one. The waffle wasn’t hard, but it was kind of a dry texture, and then the toppings were AGGRESSIVELY sugary. It could be a good snack for kids, but we liked everything else a little better. Strawberriful Waffle Of course, it wouldn’t be Wicked: The Experience without the stars themselves. We got to see Glinda and Elphaba in a special spot for character meet-and-greets! Glinda and Elphaba! Like we said, it’s a Wicked fan’s dream spot! It’s the stars! Please note that if you choose to participate in the experience, some of the backgrounds here contain spoilers — you have been warned! Have you ever heard the expression “We’re seeing stars“? Well, we mean that literally. We’ve got some huge news for all the holiday lovers out there, and we’re reporting straight from Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Now, if you feel it’s too early to start singing “It’s the most wonderful time of the year,” this news isn’t for you. Move along! (Just kidding — please stay. We love you all equally!) You know what time it is! Our team is split pretty evenly — lots of us are thrilled that the holiday season is starting, while others feel the holidays don’t start until after Thanksgiving. But no matter which side you’re on, it doesn’t change the fact that the first holiday decorations are officially up in Hollywood Studios! This makes Hollywood Studios the second park in Disney World to begin putting up its decorations (Animal Kingdom was the first), and we know Disney has previously announced that holiday decorations would begin going up overnight tonight in Magic Kingdom to make their debut on November 2nd. The stars! These stars are among the first decorations to go up in Hollywood Studios each year, and they’ll soon be followed by additional decorations before Jollywood Nights begins on November 8th. That means that in the next seven days, Hollywood Studios should be fully transformed! We love seeing these each year! The stars are located on Sunset Boulevard, but we’ll also see decorations pop up in Toy Story Land. However, you won’t find decorations in Galaxy’s Edge, because the same holidays aren’t celebrated quite the same in the Star Wars universe (They do a thing called “Life Day”…it’s a long story). We also spotted lights in the bushes near Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, and we’re really excited to see them all lit up when it gets dark! Lights in the bushes! The stage is also set up with some holiday decorations in front of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, where you’ll be able to watch live entertainment during Jollywood Nights! The stage! Well, the stage is set (literally and figuratively) for the holidays to TAKE OVER at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You ready? Looking for more recent holiday news? Check out our posts below! When it comes to amazing restaurants, EPCOT certainly has its share. You can just basically walk around World Showcase and dine around the world! We love the ‘ol “snack and stroll” method when we’re spending a day in EPCOT, but sometimes, we find ourselves craving a nice, hearty meal. Poutine Well, one of the most highly-rated restaurants in EPCOT is in the Canada Pavilion, and yep, you know we’re talking about Le Cellier (we could go on for DAYS about the cheese soup there). However, it’s been a hot minute since we dined there, so we revisited Le Cellier to see if it still holds up. Atmosphere You’ll find Le Cellier tucked away in the Canada Pavilion. You’ll have to walk through the gardens to get there, but trust us, it’s a scenic walk. This is one of the prettiest pavilions in EPCOT! You’ll eventually come across the Hotel du Canada: Le Cellier is located on the bottom level. In the Canada Pavilion Once you walk into the restaurant, you’ll feel like you’re in a cave. Well, this restaurant is called LE CELLIER, which translates to “the cellar.” So it’s sort of like dining in a wine cellar in a cave. It’s like a cave Just like any cave, though, it’s pretty dark in here. The atmospheric lighting adds ambiance, but what it doesn’t add a lot of is light. Have the flashlight app on your phone ready if you want to see the menu. However, the dim lighting does make for a romantic atmosphere, so this is a great date night spot. Seating is tables and chairs, but you’ll also find some booths. We will admit, though, that the tables are pretty close together. Beware if you like to have your own personal space! Plenty of seating But enough about the restaurant — what’s on the menu here?! Menu The menu features a variety of traditional Canadian dishes, including poutine, as well as the famous cheese soup. You’ll also find steak on the menu (that’s what they’re known for around here!). Note that some plant-based options are also available (and we’re trying those, too!). Main menu There are also a few choices of desserts, ice wines, after-dinner drinks, tea, and more. Dessert and Beverage choices The wine list is extensive! There are also featured cocktails, ice wine flights, whiskey flights, and beer options. Wine menu And now, onto the main event — the food! Eats The meal begins with a Bread Service, served with Salted Butter. You get a variety of breads, but if we had to pick a favorite, it’s gotta be the Pretzel Bread, which is salted and is the perfect combination of a soft pretzel and bread roll. We also really enjoyed the Multigrain Roll, which is moist, rich, and hearty. We were expecting a Sourdough Roll in our basket, but it never showed up, so we can’t comment on that. Bread service As a starter, we ordered the Signature Poutine with Hand-cut Pomme Frites, Cheese Curds, Cheddar, and Cabernet Demi for $17. Poutine is a quintessential Canadian comfort food, but this is a slightly elevated version of it. This is a popular starter here, and for good reason. It’s shareable, although you could make a meal out of it. Signature Poutine We were impressed with the quality of the cheese. Its sharpness surprised us. Also, the use of a red wine Demi instead of gravy makes it a wee bit fancier than regular poutine. They even pour it on the fries at the table, which is a nice touch. The fries also have some skin on them, and they were so good, which just makes the poutine that much better. It’s all about quality ingredients. SO good Of course, we’re not visiting Le Cellier without ordering the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup with Moosehead Pale Ale and Nueske’s Applewood-smoked Bacon for $15. This is ALWAYS a must, and it NEVER disappoints. Y’all, it’s really hard not to just put our whole face in the bowl and lick it clean. Cheese soup It has such a nice depth of flavor with a rich cheddar flavor. We love cheese…you know that…and this is one of the best cheesy things you can get in Disney World. Now, we have to inform you that you can grab this during the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival at the Canada Booth for far less money if you’re just craving the soup. OUR FAVORITE As this is technically a steakhouse, we ordered the 12-oz. New York Strip Steak for our entree. For $62, you get a Butcher’s Cut with one side (we chose the Crispy Brussels Sprouts) and one sauce. The steak was cooked exactly the way we asked for…medium rare. Is it the best New York Strip we’ve had in our lives? Maybe not. But it has a bold flavor and is very tender. The steak also has a nice seasoning on the outer crust. Our only complaint is that we would have liked a little more pepper in that seasoning. But it’s a minor complaint. New York Strip Steak The Crispy Brussels Sprouts aren’t really crispy, but they are tasty. They come with a maple glaze that just really makes the flavors pop. The Brussels sprouts are so well-cooked that they just practically melt in your mouth. The texture is great, too… there’s a bit of crispness to the end of the leaves. The addition of golden raisins adds a nice burst of fruitiness. Crispy Brussels Sprouts We also got the Sauce Flight for $9. You get five sauces: Chardonnay-Truffle Butter, Cabernet Demi, Cognac-Peppercorn, Béarnaise, and Sauce Verte. The sauces are all good, although the Cabernet Demi is a bit overwhelming. Our favorites were the Peppercorn and Béarnaise. However, we will say that we don’t think the flight is worth it unless multiple people are ordering steak. Sauce Flight Okay, let’s talk about plant-based options. The Roasted Cauliflower “Steak” is served with Beluga Lentils, Vine-ripened Tomatoes, Tahini, Dukkah, and Garden Herbs for $38. Y’all…this surprised us SO much. The preparation was perfect, and there was flavor throughout the whole thing. There was a nice roasted crust on the outer edges with a light smokiness and caramelization that brought out the nutty flavor of the cauliflower. The tahini adds a creamy, tangy, and earthy flavor, balanced by the warmth of the dukkah. We were getting a Middle Eastern flavor vibe with this, and we’re not mad about it. Roasted Cauliflower “Steak” The herbs on top of the cauliflower added a nice freshness to each bite. This particular meal might sound dull on paper, but it was so much more incredible than we could have imagined. This was a vegetable course treated with the same thoughtful preparation that a meat dish might receive. You don’t even have to be vegan to appreciate the beauty and flavor of this. Beautifully thought out Okay, so time for dessert. The Maple Crème Brûlée for $15 is served with Chantilly, Gooseberries, and Tuile. This has a STRONG maple flavor, and we think the maple is why it’s a bit thicker than a traditional crème brûlée. The sugar on top is also a maple sugar, so you’ve got a whole maple-on-maple thing going. It’s very indulgent, but also really good. Plus, it’s BEAUTIFUL. The gooseberries add a nice tartness. Maple Crème Brûlée We also ordered the plant-based The Wine Cellar’s Banana Split, which is a Roasted Banana Frozen Dessert, Pizzelle, Bing Cherries, and Chantilly for $13. Somehow, Le Cellier made a dessert that relies so heavily on dairy and made it work better than we expected. The bananas have a nice caramelization that adds some nice flavor. Underneath it all is a house-made coconut-based ice cream drizzled with dark chocolate sauce. The Wine Cellar’s Banana Split Even the cherries on top were fantastic because they were the more luxurious, deep red maraschino cherries. Everything all together just worked, and the execution of the entire dessert is perfect. We would come back to Le Cellier JUST to order this again. It’s another instance of how much thought is put into the plant-based dishes here. You don’t always get that in Disney World. But WAIT. There’s more. Because we were celebrating a birthday, the restaurant also brought out the Birthday Moose Mousse. Yes, we’ve had dessert, but we’re having more because this time, it’s FREE. It’s a pretty basic chocolate mousse, but it is way better than it should be, especially as it’s a complimentary dessert. Mousse moose, y’all. How can you not love it? Birthday Moose Mousse Okay, so is Le Cellier worth your time in Disney World? Let’s see… Nosh or Not This Disney World restaurant is a must-visit if… You’re celebrating a special occasion. This is a nice spot for a birthday, anniversary, or any other special occasion. The ambiance with the candlelight makes it all just feel so special. You’ve got time. If you want to spend some time on a full table service meal experience, Le Cellier has you covered. This is an EXPERIENCE, not just a quick grab-and-go meal. You’re on a plant-based diet. If you only want to eat plant-based food, you can get a great meal here that doesn’t feel like an afterthought, like so many other restaurants. You should skip this Disney World spot if… You’re on a budget. A meal here can get pretty pricey, so if you’re on a tight budget, you might want to skip. You just want a quick meal. If you’re looking for a meal that you can order and eat fast, this isn’t it. This is a full table service dining experience. You don’t want to sit in the dark when you eat. The lighting is very dim in Le Cellier, so if you prefer to dine somewhere a little more well-lit, you’ll want to skip. Overall We love it when we revisit an old favorite restaurant and it still hits all the notes for us, and Le Cellier does just that. We’d come here for the cheese soup alone, but everything we ate during this meal really knocked it out of the park. That includes the plant-based options, which are very well thought out and prepared. That’s not something you can get at every Disney World restaurant, so Le Cellier still stays on our “Favorite EPCOT Restaurants” list. In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for more restaurant updates from Disney World and beyond. Make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest Disney news and more! The alarm went off at 6 AM sharp, and everyone managed to pull themselves out of bed in time to make it to Magic Kingdom for rope drop. You may or may not have been smack-talking on the way in about how good you are at Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin on the trip over. Everyone has been warming up their fingers and preparing to show you who is boss. Everything so far this morning has been leading up to this moment…only for your whole family to find out that Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin is undergoing a planned closure. Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin We do NOT want this to be the reality for your family! Sure, there are some closures that can’t be planned for, like when attractions close for weather or technical issues. However, Disney announces some closures in advance, and we want to make sure you know about them. If you are heading to Disney World this week, you need to read this so you know what will be closed and which rides you shouldn’t hype up! Let’s take a look at the attractions and locations that will be closed this week, from November 1st through November 8th, at Disney World. Magic Kingdom Mickey’s PhilharMagic As of November 1st, 2025, Mickey’s PhilharMagic in Magic Kingdom is temporarily closed for routine refurbishment. It won’t be closed for long, though, as it is currently anticipated to reopen later in November. Based on the operating hours on Disney World’s website, Mickey’s PhilharMagic will likely be reopening by November 23rd as it is showing hours on that date. Mickey’s PhilharMagic The show is just undergoing a routine refurbishment, so we aren’t expecting any major changes, but you never know — we will be sure to keep you updated. Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin A popular Tomorrowland attraction is closed! Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin has been closed for refurbishment since August 4th, 2025, and isn’t expected to reopen until 2026. While the ride is closed, it will be getting some upgrades! It’s closed! Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin will be getting a new ride scene, new ride vehicles, a new character, and enhanced gameplay elements. Some of those gameplay elements include handheld blasters (soon you can shoot whenever you want!) and reactive targets. We got the chance to take a look at the new ride vehicle and test out the new blasters, and we have to say we were impressed! Liberty Square Riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island An iconic part of the Magic Kingdom is now permanently closed. As of July 7th, the Rivers of America, including the Liberty Square River Boat and Tom Sawyer Island, are permanently closed to make way for the new Cars area, Piston Peak National Park. There are some construction walls up in the area now, and many of the structures on Tom Sawyer Island have been demolished. The river has also been drained! Rivers of America Piston Peak National Park will be replacing this area of Magic Kingdom. Disney has not yet announced an opening date for the new Cars area, but we do know it will feature two brand-new attractions and be themed to look like a National Park. Next Week, Magic Kingdom Will Be Very Different Big Thunder Mountain Railroad On January 6th, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad closed for an extended temporary closure. The “Wildest Ride in the Wilderness” will be closed for at least a year and will reopen sometime in 2026. The ride will be undergoing maintenance while it is closed. When it reopens, it will have some “new magic,” according to Disney. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Disney announced some of the new magic! Riders will see “spectacular natural caverns full of phosphorescent pools, shimmering and illuminating iridescent stalagmites (the ones on the floor) and stalactites (the ones on the ceiling)” — the Rainbow Caverns! We can’t wait to see what other changes might be coming to this ever-popular roller coaster! We have spotted some ride testing happening, which was very exciting, and a train car has arrived! It was still covered in a tarp, but it was exciting to see. Tortuga Tavern Tortuga Tavern is a seasonal restaurant in Magic Kingdom. It has been a bit since we saw it open. Most recently, it was used as a cookie location for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Tortuga Tavern We had previously spotted shrubs around the restaurant as they worked on the flooring. However, all the shrubs have been taken down now. We don’t know exactly when/if this restaurant will reopen, but we will keep you updated if we learn more! Did Disney Quietly Reveal the Opening Date for This NEW Magic Kingdom Snack Spot? Disney’s Animal Kingdom Harambe Market — Disney’s Animal Kingdom Harambe Market, a quick-service dining location in Animal Kingdom, has temporarily closed as of October 20th, 2025. It will be closed for a few months, and it is currently expected to reopen in early 2026. While we are sad to see the dining options decrease in Animal Kingdom, there are still lots of delicious options! Harambe Market You can stop by Flame Tree Barbecue or Satu’li Canteen for a tasty, quick-service meal. We aren’t expecting huge changes at Harambe Market during the refurbishment, but we will keep you updated as we learn more! Kali River Rapids Kali River Rapids is about to close for refurbishment! This water adventure has temporarily closed as of October 6th, and it is expected to reopen in December 2025. We aren’t expecting any huge changes to the ride, just some maintenance and general refurbishment. Kali River Rapids is currently closed We commonly see Kali River Rapids closed during the cooler months for refurbishment. Splashing through a water ride just isn’t the same when it is cooler outside, so we can see why Disney chose the fall or winter months to do some maintenance on this attraction. TriceraTop Spin, Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures, Fossil Fun Games, The Boneyard, Dino Bite Snacks, and Trilo-Bites The first round of closures began in DinoLand U.S.A. on January 13th, 2025. TriceraTop Spin, Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures, and Fossil Fun Game were closed down, and construction has begun on the brand-new land themed to the Tropical Americas, Pueblo Esperanza. The Boneyard has permanently closed as of September 2nd. Dino Bite Snacks and Trilo-Bites are also permanently closed as of October 20th, 2025. Pueblo Esperanza Construction It is definitely a sad sight, but we are also excited to see Pueblo Esperanza! DINOSAUR and Restaurantosaurus are still open, but Disney has announced the rest of DinoLand, U.S.A. will be closing for good on February 2nd, 2026. It’s Tough to Be a Bug It’s Tough to Be a Bug is closed for good. This attraction in Disney’s Animal Kingdom once invited you to join the bug kingdom on an adventure. While the show didn’t usually rank among Disney World’s favorite attractions, it has now closed to make way for a new show. Zootopia: Better Zoogether! Sign It’s Tough to Be a Bug closed on March 17th to make way for a brand-new show, “Zootopia: Better Zoogether!”, which will have its grand opening on November 7th, 2025. The show begins when you arrive at the main stage just in time for Zoogether Day festivities, where you’ll spot some new and familiar faces, including Heidi Howler, a wolf who hosts the Zoogether Day LIVE! broadcast. We Just Watched the NEW ‘Zootopia’ Show in Disney World, and We Have SO Much to Tell You Disney’s Hollywood Studios Vacation Fun – An Original Animated Short with Mickey & Minnie — Disney’s Hollywood Studios Vacation Fun – An Original Animated Short with Mickey & Minnie is temporarily closed as of October 20th, 2025, in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The good news is that it is just a temporary closure, and it is expected to reopen later this year! Vacation Fun Vacation Fun is joining an already lengthy list of closures in Hollywood Studios, including Animation Courtyard and Muppets Courtyard. There is still plenty to do in Hollywood Studios, but be prepared for a fair amount of construction happening! Animation Courtyard Animation Courtyard closed on September 25th, 2025, to make way for Walt Disney Studios. This new area is expected to open in 2026 and will be a special nod to the Walt Disney Studios lot. Star Wars Launch Bay will be turned into The Magic of Disney Animation. This attraction will have you interacting and exploring with this fun take on Disney Animation headquarters. The arch is now gone! This area will also feature a new Drawn to Wonderland indoor play area and the current Disney Jr. Play and Dance! show will be getting a makeover. During the transformation, you will still be able to visit “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” and Walt Disney Presents. Muppets Courtyard, including Muppet*Vision 3D, PizzeRizzo, and Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano Muppet*Vision 3D AND PizzeRizzo closed on June 8th, and Muppets Courtyard has been walled off so construction can begin on the new Monsters, Inc. land. Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano has been closed since May 11th. Recently, the Muppet*Vision 3D sign was officially taken down! Farewell Muppet*Vision Sign Don’t worry, the Muppets won’t be missing from Disney’s Hollywood Studios forever. The Muppets will eventually be taking over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in 2026. This Latest Hollywood Studios Construction Update Has Me Reaching for the Tissues Blizzard Beach Blizzard Beach has been closed since September 8th, 2025! While it has been wonderful having BOTH Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon open at the same time this summer (which was the first time this has happened in YEARS), that has now come to an end. Blizzard Beach is now closed for refurbishment. Blizzard Beach Have no fear, though, if you are looking for somewhere to cool off and enjoy some fun in the water, Typhoon Lagoon will still be open! REVIEWS: What to Eat (And What to AVOID) at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park Fantasia Gardens & Fairways Miniature Golf If you are planning on playing some miniature golf during your Disney World trip, you have some options. You can head over to Fantasia Gardens & Fairways Miniature Gold or Winter Summerland Miniature. However, if you are headed over to Fantasia Gardens & Fairways Miniature Golf, one of the courses will be closed for refurbishment. Fantasia Mini Golf Course From September 9th to November 7th, 2025, the Fantasia Fairways Miniature Golf course will be undergoing refurbishment. While it is closed, the Fantasia Gardens course will remain open, but guests won’t be able to reserve tee times (guests will tee off on a first-come, first-served basis). That still leaves you three courses to explore between the one at Fantasia Gardens & Fairways and the two courses at Winter Summerland! Disney World Hotels Promenade Fine Art Gallery — Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and Resort The Promenade Fine Art Gallery will be closing its Disney’s BoardWalk location on October 20th, 2025. However, the Promenade Fine Art Gallery isn’t closing for good, and it will just be moving to a new location. Promenade Fine Art Gallery The gallery hasn’t announced yet where that new location will be, but we will keep you updated as we learn more! The Paddock Pool, Aquatic Play Area, and The Paddock Grill — Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort The Paddock Pool, the aquatic play area, and The Paddock Grill will be closed from October 13th, 2025, until early December for routine maintenance. Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort As we enter the cooler months, we are seeing more hotel pools undergoing routine maintenance. It is all an important part in making sure the Walt Disney World Resort is looking its best. Leisure Pool at Miller’s Road — Disney’s Old Key West Resort If you are staying at Old Key West soon, you will want to take note of this closure! From September 29th through late November, the leisure pool at Miller’s Road will be closed for routine maintenance. Disney’s Old Key West Good news, though. The Sandcastle Pool and both leisure pools at Old Turtle Pond and South Point will still be open. So, there will be plenty of options for having some poolside fun! The Samawati Springs Pool Slide — Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Starting on September 8th, the Samawati Springs Pool Slide will be closing at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge — Kidani Village for routine maintenance. Disney hasn’t announced a date for when the slide will reopen. Samawati Springs Pool If you’re staying at the resort, there will still be another water slide option for you to enjoy at the Uzima Springs Pool! ONLY the slide at The Samawati Springs Pool will be closed; you can still use the pool, just not the slide. You just may see or hear construction at work. Jellyrolls — Disney’s BoardWalk Jellyrolls at Disney’s BoardWalk officially closed on April 19th, 2025. This entertainment venue has provided our team with countless memories, and we know many others are also sad to see it close. Jellyrolls had its final farewell performance on April 19th and closed its doors forever on Disney’s BoardWalk. Jellyrolls However, this isn’t the end for Jellyrolls, as the bar has said they are “making a move.” We don’t know many details about that move yet, but we will keep you updated. You know your meal is gonna be good when a Disney character comes over and tries to steal it. But first, let’s back up the story. Magic Kingdom‘s newest snack stand, AstroFizz, is now open in Tomorrowland, and it totally took us by surprise. First of all, the opening date was a surprise and delight, but the new menu items were surprisingly good, too! Dale loves AstroFizz, too! After a soft opening on October 31st around 6 PM, AstroFizz is now open in Tomorrowland, though no hours are showing on the Disney World website or My Disney Experience app at this time. While you can grab classic Mickey bars and ice cream sandwiches here, as well as other frozen treats, you can find those at other stands around the park. Instead, we recommend one of the special snacks you can get here — and you know we tried them ALL right away! We started off with the special dining option here, which is the Cherry Cola Churro for $7.49. This is a Churro rolled in Cherry Sugar, drizzled with Coca-Cola Cherry Icing, and topped with Cherry Popping Candies. COKE CHURRO! Fun fact — this snack stand is hosted by Coca-Cola, similar to the Ice Cold Hydraulics stand at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Cherry Cola Churro OK, so admittedly, we are BIG Diet Coke fans around here. But can you take the classic Coca-Cola flavor and make it work with a churro? As you take a bite of this churro, we recommend savoring alllll the flavors together, because while it seems like there would be overwhelmingly cherry flavor, that’s not the case at all when you combine everything. The cola drizzle tastes like the cola hard candies our reporter used to have as a kid, and it’s amazing that you can experience the individual flavors of Cherry Coke by sampling around the plate. We were impressed by these! It’s not overwhelming in terms of flavors at all — it has a delicious churro base with a flavor slightly more complex than vanilla and a tart cherry finish once everything is combined. While we do think it comes close to a Cherry Coke flavor, it’s not perfect, but that’s just fine by us. However, we warn you not to taste the Coca-Cola drizzle by itself, because it was a little bit strange to us on its own, despite the churro tasting delicious when all the flavors combine. This is a solid option! Then, there are four different flavors of Frozen Slushy for $6.49 each– Coca-Cola, Fanta Blue Raspberry, Fanta Orange, and Cherry, though Cherry currently isn’t listed on their physical menus or on the Disney website. That’s right — we got a BONUS SLUSHY, people. Frozen Slushy Flavors These Slushy flavors are all very basic, but that’s not a bad thing! They all tasted exactly how they were supposed to, and we didn’t notice any issues. If you’ve ever had one of those slushies at the movies or Target (remember when Target used to have food?!), this will taste familiar. The frozen texture was on point, though it did take nearly an hour for us to be able to get these, because the machine was broken and needed to be fixed. Be warned that you may run into that issue on your trip. We enjoyed them! Even though it wasn’t hot outside when we grabbed them, they do start to melt pretty quickly in the sun, so you’ll want to drink them relatively quickly (but not so quickly that you give yourself a brain freeze!). Overall, we’re a fan of this new location and look forward to seeing what other menu items they come up with! We’re big fans! Looking for more recent reviews around Disney parks? An exclusive New Year’s Eve experience is returning to Disney World this year with a different look and a WAY cheaper price tag! Firework View from California Grill For the past few years, California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort has hosted a themed party on New Year’s Eve, featuring food, characters, and an iconic view of the holiday fireworks at Magic Kingdom. The restaurant is gearing up to offer another special experience this New Year’s Eve, but this year’s event will be a little different…and WAY cheaper! In 2023, California Grill hosted Alice’s Whimsical World of Wonderland, a New Year’s Eve celebration that featured multiple food stations, characters from Alice in Wonderland, an event DJ, and fireworks viewing access from the restaurant’s exclusive location. Of course, all of this came at a hefty price tag — $799 per person, to be exact! California Grill Another version of the event, called Tiana’s New Year’s Adventure at California Grill, returned in 2024 with similar offerings and a Princess and the Frog theme. But one thing that didn’t change — that $799 per person price tag! Food at California Grill The restaurant is getting in on the holiday celebration again this year, with The Magic of New Year’s Eve at California Grill, but there are some BIG changes this time around! Here’s what’s included in this year’s event: A 4-Course Meal: Event-exclusive dishes made from premium ingredients. Music: A live band will create an elegant ambiance for the upscale dining experience. Characters: Photo opportunities with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. Fireworks: Watch Magic Kingdom’s special New Year’s Eve fireworks from a prime viewing area. Fireworks viewing will take place at the end of each seating. A Champagne Toast: Guests age 21+ receive a complimentary glass of champagne. View from California Grill The prices vary by seating as follows: December 30th: $229 per person December 31st (Early Seating): $299 per person December 31st (Late Seating): $349 per person California Grill So, let’s review the things that are different from previous events! First, the price is WAY less — down from $799 per person to $229-$349 per person. Some of that price reduction may be due to the shortened experience — while the exact event time isn’t listed, it doesn’t appear to be an all-evening event like the parties of previous years, since there are two seatings on New Year’s Eve (although both still include fireworks viewing). California Grill Also, in previous years, there were food stations available throughout the evening, while this year’s event is a plated 4-course meal. And, rounding out the list of big changes, there is no overarching character theme listed this year. Mickey and Minnie will be there for photos, but the overall event wasn’t given a character theme like the last two years of Alice and Tiana. California Grill Here’s a look at the menu for this year’s 4-course New Year’s Eve dinner! 1st Course American Wagyu Futomaki Roll 2nd Course – Market Inspirations (Choice of One) BBQ European Quail Sonoma Goat Cheese Ravioli Norwegian Brown King Crab Sweet Potato & Nantucket Scallop Bisque 3rd Course – Chef’s Creations (Choice of One) 30-Day Dry-Age Snake River Farms Wagyu Filet Berkshire Pork Tenderloin Butter Poached Maine Lobster Truffled Poulet Rouge Glacier 51 Toothfish Mosaic 4th Course – Sweet Creations (Choice of One) Celebration of Citrus Chocolate Blossom Blueberry-Goat Cheese Cheesecake Muscavado Brown Sugar Crème Brûlée Cocktails (Available at an Additional Cost) Black Truffle and Fig Old-Fashioned Blueberry & Thyme Gin Smash Heirloom Applejack 75 Cosmopolitan Highball Goat Cheese Ravioli To snag a spot at The Magic of New Year’s Eve at California Grill, call 407-824-2284 to book a reservation! What’s the ultimate sign of a good website? When technology-challenged internet users can figure out how to use it. Disney World, for example, has done a great job making its website user-friendly. From filters to drop-down options to easy categorization, it’s pretty easy to navigate. (Now, the Zara website, on the other hand? THAT website is NOT easy to use. If you know, you know.) Magic Kingdom Despite the website being as great as it is, we’ve always felt like the discounts page could be improved. We find it a little difficult to determine what discounts may be available during your trip. Now, Disney has made a change to its website, and there’s a new look to the Deals and Discounts page — we just know you’re going to love it! The new layout of the deals and discounts page displays the same special offers, packages, and exclusive deals for Florida Residents, Passholders, and Disney+ Subscribers, but in a new and improved format. Disney World Thanks to the new look, you can actually see all the deals and discounts in one place, or you can use the filter to only see the discounts that are most beneficial to you! How convenient is that?! The categories listed are: Room Only Vacation Packages (Room + Tickets) Tickets Sports + Recreation Dining Credit Card Discounted Dining Passholder Offers ©Disney Selecting one or more filters helps narrow down the offers to those you can actually use. This makes finding what you need MUCH easier. You’ll still want to test ALL the deals and discounts that apply to you to get the best deal possible for your trip. Spaceship Earth We don’t know about you, but we are BIG fans of this change. The more filters and options we have, the better we can research and plan for our next trip! Disney also recently updated its restaurant page, so you can find and select reservations a LOT quicker now. We have a full post explaining the changes — check it out below! Members also unlock hundreds of exclusive discounts and experiences that can add up to serious savings. In fact, there are 315 perks currently available to DVC members, and a few of them could save you thousands of dollars over time. Here are five of the most valuable DVC perks that go far beyond hotel rooms and park tickets, and why they might make you rethink how you plan your next Disney vacation. 1. This tour gives Disney fans an entirely new appreciation for the park. These beautiful, PGA-caliber courses are open to guests of all skill levels and offer some of the most scenic golf experiences in Central Florida. Whether you’re grabbing matching spirit jerseys, holiday ornaments, or park snacks to take home, those savings add up fast. Between resort gift shops, Disney Springs stores, and in-park shopping, this discount can really pay off. DVC Collection! For more Disney tips, be sure to follow us at DFB! Target We keep our eyes peeled for all the latest merchandise sales that could help you save money (both ahead of your next Disney vacation and in general), and we just found an AMAZING deal on Owala water bottles you can’t miss. If you’ve been hoping to grab a new water bottle for the parks, this is one sale you’ll need to take advantage of ASAP, because it’s only available TODAY, November 1st. DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. Right now, you can save 20% on Owala Water Bottles with Target Circle, but ONLY today! ©Target Save on The Misty Meadow Owala! ©Target The Misty Meadow Owala is perfect for those who love the color green but don’t want it to be overly bright. The main part of the bottle and lid are green, while the Owala band around the bottom of the lid and the locking feature are a very light purple, and the actual lid cover is a light beige. We think it’s especially perfect for those who really love the outdoors! Grab it here! Periwinkle All The Way! ©Target The Periwinkle Twinkle Owala is great for those who love the light, purplish-blue color that makes up periwinkle. The lid cover is a dark green, the locking feature is maroon, and the Owala ring is a muted orange. It sounds like a lot of colors, but they all go together very well! Grab it here! When You Need A Larger Water Bottle ©Target If you know you need to drink LOTS of water (let’s be honest, we ALL do, but some of us are just better at doing it than others), grab yourself the 30 oz Misty Meadow Owala Freesip! It’s got that beautiful green color paired with muted purple, light blue, and white. Grab it here! Perfect For Kiddos, Too! ©Target If you’re worried that a normal Owala may be too large for your kids, but you want something for them to carry around just for themselves (and want the water to stay cold!), you can grab the Misty Meadow 16 oz Kids Owala! It has the same color pattern as the others and functions just as well as the other sizes, but it’s much more manageable for smaller hands. Grab it here! Owala On The Go! ©Target You can also save on other styles, like the Kickflip Owala SmoothSip Travel Mug! This style is great for people who prefer to have a solid travel mug with them while driving or at home. You can bring this into the park, but we do find that it doesn’t hold as much as most people would like. Grab it here! We’ll continue to keep you updated on all the latest merchandise news that could help you on your next Disney trip, so stay tuned to DFB! 3…2…1…we have take-off, people! The long-awaited AstroFizz snack stand at Magic Kingdom is officially OPEN! AstroFizz! Now, you may remember Cool Ship, which was the popular snack kiosk in Tomorrowland. Cool Ship closed in May of 2025. This closure was dedicated to a transformation: say hello to AstroFizz, a new snack kiosk rebuilt with a fresh new look. Recently, we talked about how exciting it was that the walls were down around this kiosk, but we had NO idea it was going to be open THE VERY NEXT DAY! Come with us to check it out! Disney did not share an exact opening date, but we knew it would be open on or before November 7th! This is because Disney World released its full list of treats for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and the event runs on select nights from November 7th through 21st (yes, that soon). The list of menu items included a special party-exclusive snack at AstroFizz, a Cherry-White Chocolate Slushy. Due to that information, we knew it could open at any time — but its opening today (November 1st) was definitely a welcome surprise! People are lined up at Astrofizz! We’re loving this new remodel, with its modern style while still maintaining a retro ’50s look and feel. Look at it! We can’t wait to try the new snacks, treats, and drinks. We’ve been looking forward to the three frozen slushies since Disney teased them! Menu items include: Popcorn — $5.99 Cinnamon-glazed Nuts — $5.99 Cotton Candy — $5.49 Assorted Fountain Beverages — $4.79 Frozen Slushy: Coca-Cola, Fanta Blue Raspberry, or Fanta Orange — $6.49 Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar — $6.49 Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Sandwich — $6.49 Frozen Lemonade Cup –$6.29 Outshine Strawberry Fruit Bar — $5.99 Look at the drinks and popcorn! Speaking of snacks we’re excited to try, the NEW Cherry Cola Churros are something we have been DYING to enjoy — and now we finally can! They look so unique, and they sound delicious. They’re listed at $7.49. ©Disney Now, we are calling this a “surprise opening,” but we did get a little tip that the stand was in testing mode recently. Some lucky Magic Kingdom visitors got to try the churros and other treats EARLY — before AstroFizz officially opened. A few of our readers on Instagram informed us that there was a SOFT OPENING during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on October 31st. Photo from @_sierra_burns_ via Instagram We got a message from @_sierra_burns_ mentioning that around 6 PM, AstroFizz had a soft opening. Cherry Cola Churros were, in fact, bought! Thanks for the tip! Photo from @_sierra_burns_ via Instagram Another one of our readers, @carolbake, also got the Cherry Cola Churros last night! They sent us a message as well, stating, “AstroFizz has a soft opening tonight. We got to try the churros.” Thanks for the pictures, and we hope you enjoyed them! Photo from @carolbake via Instagram No, but seriously, these look pretty good! Stay tuned for our full review. Photo from @carolbake via Instagram During our visit to Magic Kingdom on November 1st (the official opening day for AstroFizz), a Cast Member informed us that there would be a delay on the churros and slushies. The machines were not working — we’ll chalk it up to some opening-day kinks. Don’t worry, though. We are staking out this spot like true detectives. We’re on the case! Welcome to the party, AstroFizz! The full menu is available online, but the My Disney Experience app and website do NOT currently indicate that this spot is open. ©Disney It looks like this spot might become a go-to spot when we need a quick and easy snack at Magic Kingdom!
