  2. If you’re planning a wedding right now, first of all, CONGRATULATIONS! Second, you NEED to see this! Look at these two! Over the last several decades, weddings have become a huge part of the Disney World experience. Aided by reality shows, celebrity weddings at the parks, and viral photos at the park, saying “I Do” at the resort has gone from a relatively under-the-radar type of ceremony to one many couples consider. And if you’re one of those couples, Disney just announced a SLEW of new discounts. Disney Weddings recently took to Instagram to advertise a series of discounts currently available. Summer 2026 is coming in HOT with four special offers, including 50% in ceremony savings, a complimentary resort room stay, and even 20% off Cinderella’s Coach! @DisneyWeddings Instagram Some of the specific discounts include… 50% off select ceremony venue fees: According to Disney, currently select venues have a ceremony venue fee of $3,500, “saving 50% for weddings or vow renewals taking place June 1st, 2026 to September 30th, 2026.” @DisneyWeddings Instagram These venues include: Resort Ceremony Locations Disney’s Wedding Pavilion Select Theme Park Locations EPCOT (China Courtyard, Great Hall of China, Germany Courtyard, Italy Isola, Italy Plaza, Japan Courtyard, Morocco, Place de Remy, and United Kingdom Courtyard) Disney’s Animal Kingdom (Tamu Tamu Courtyard) 20% on the usage of Cinderella’s Royal Carriage for weddings and vow renewals taking place from June 1st, 2026, to September 30th, 2026. @DisneyWeddings Instagram For weddings and vow renewals taking place on weekdays (Monday-Thursday) from June 1st, 2026, through September 30th, 2026, the happy couple will receive a 1-night complimentary resort room at their host resort! @DisneyWeddings Instagram Finally, while the standard wedding and vow renewal booking window is 12 months prior to the event date, guests booking for Summer 2026 can book all dates from June 1st through September 30th of next year NOW! @DisneyWeddings Instagram These discounts are available now, but you’ll have to act somewhat fast. 3. An underrated Disney World attraction is about to be done with its refurbishment! While this under-the-radar attraction never fully closed, we are excited that its refurbishment is about done. Winter Summerland Miniature Golf has been undergoing a refurbishment since April 28th, and it is about to be completed. Winter Summerland Mini Golf During the refurbishment, only one course was available at a time, so you couldn’t choose between the Summer or Winter course; you simply had to play the course that was open. But pretty soon, we will once again have choices when it comes to playing golf at Winter Summerland! While it was only kind of closed, we are excited it is about to be fully open! From April 28th until June 16th, 2025, Winter Summerland Miniature Golf will be undergoing refurbishment. However, even though it is getting refurbished, you can still stop by to play a round of golf. Only ONE course will be open at a time during the refurbishment, so you won’t have your choice of The Summer or The Winter Course; it will just be whichever one is open. Winter Summerland Mini Golf As well, Winter Summerland won’t be taking reservations during this time. If you are looking to play a round, you will just head over to the course as a walk-up. You can also head over to Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf if you are looking for even more mini golf fun. But, beginning June 17th, you will have choices at Winter Summerland! Let’s take a look at what other attractions and locations will be closed this week, June 14th through June 21st, at Disney World! Magic Kingdom Playground at Dumbo the Flying Elephant The indoor children’s playground inside the Dumbo the Flying Elephant queue closed for refurbishment on February 24th, 2025. While the playground is closed, the ride is still open and available for kids of all ages to soar through the sky! Dumbo The indoor playground is expected to reopen in Spring 2025. Hall of Presidents The Hall of Presidents closed at Magic Kingdom on January 20th. The attraction will be closed until later in 2025, though Disney has not shared a specific date. We will keep an eye out for updates, though! Hall of Presidents The closure is likely to change the current president, as January 20th marked Inauguration Day. While it is closed, other maintenance and routine work may also be happening. Recently, the inside has opened up for guests to explore and to get some much-needed A/C, but the show itself is not running. Astro Orbiter If you want to blast off into space, you’ll have to head over to Space Mountain because Astro Orbiter is temporarily closed for refurbishment. Astro Orbiter closed as of January 13th and is planned to reopen in the summer of 2025. No specific date has been announced for the high-in-the-sky ride, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled for an update from Disney. Astro Orbiter The ride has been completely dismantled and is being refurbished elsewhere. It definitely looks a little barren as you are walking into Tomorrowland right now! However, Disney has filed a permit that could mean the attraction will soon be back in its place in Tomorrowland, and we are starting to see it getting reassembled. Construction walls are back, and the crane is in place to reassemble. WONDERFUL WAFFLE NEWS: Magic Kingdom’s BEST Snack Is BACK in Disney World Big Thunder Mountain Railroad On January 6th, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad closed for an extended temporary closure. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad The “Wildest Ride in the Wilderness” will be closed for at least a year and will reopen sometime in 2026. The ride will be undergoing maintenance while it is closed. When it reopens, it will have some “new magic,” according to Disney. We can’t wait to see what changes will be coming to this ever-popular roller coaster! We recently spotted some ride testing happening, which was very exciting. Tomorrowland Terrace Tomorrowland Terrace is a quick-service restaurant that has been closed since the 2020 pandemic-related closures, but even before that, this spot was only occasionally open. Fireworks Party at Tomorrowland Terrace Once in a while, you’ll see the dining room open as a rest area (and it’s still being used for the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties), but it’s usually all roped off and empty. Disney hasn’t announced when this spot could finally reopen, but we’ll be watching for updates. If you’re looking for a nice spot to hang out in Disney World and take a rest, this could be it! Tortuga Tavern Just like Tomorrowland Terrace, Tortuga Tavern is a seasonal restaurant in Magic Kingdom. It has been a bit since we saw it open. Most recently, it was used as a cookie location for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Tortuga Tavern We had previously spotted shrubs around the restaurant as they worked on the flooring. However, all the shrubs have been taken down now. We don’t know exactly when/if this restaurant will reopen, but we will keep you updated if we learn more! In Less Than One Month, Magic Kingdom Will Be Totally Different EPCOT Test Track Test Track closed on June 17th, 2024, and Disney is giving this ride a BIG makeover! Disney has shared that the new version of Test Track will take inspiration from the old ride, World of Motion, that was originally there when the park opened in 1982. We recently spotted a new Test Track sign make its debut in the courtyard. Plus, the gift shop has a new sign and a new name, Test Track Gear Shop. Test Track Disney shared more details at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Experience, and an updated opening timeline was announced! We’ll be able to ride Test Track once again in late summer 2025. We have gotten a look at the new Test Track cars, too. Recently, we have even been hearing vehicles running on the track. We are getting closer and closer to its reopening! NEW EPCOT Food and Wine Festival Trends We Expect to See in 2025 Disney’s Animal Kingdom It’s Tough to Be a Bug It’s Tough to Be a Bug is officially closed for good. This attraction in Disney’s Animal Kingdom once invited you to join the bug kingdom on an adventure. While the show didn’t usually make it to the top of favorite attractions in Disney World, it has now officially closed to make way for a new show. It’s Tough To Be a Bug It’s Tough to Be a Bug closed on March 17th. The show is permanently closed to make way for a brand-new show, “Zootopia: Better Zoogether!”, expected to debut in winter 2025. TriceraTop Spin, Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures, and Fossil Fun Games The first round of closures began in DinoLand U.S.A. on January 13th, 2025. TriceraTop Spin, Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures, and Fossil Fun Game were closed down, and construction has begun on the brand-new land themed to the Tropical Americas, Pueblo Esperanza. The walls have been up since the closure, and things have been disappearing from behind the walls. Almost everything has been taken down behind the walls, including the large green dinosaur. DinoLand, U.S.A. It is definitely a sad sight, but we are also excited to see Pueblo Esperanza! DINOSAUR, Restaurantosaurus, the snack stands, and The Boneyard remain open. Disney hasn’t announced an official closing date for the rest of DinoLand. However, they have announced that “2025 is your year to visit before it goes extinct!” Disney’s Animal Kingdom Is Planning a Dramatic Attraction Overhaul — Here’s Everything We Know Disney’s Hollywood Studios Muppets Courtyard including Muppet*Vision 3D, PizzeRizzo, and Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano Muppet*Vision 3D AND PizzeRizzo closed on June 8th, and Muppets Courtyard has been walled off so construction can begin on the new Monsters, Inc. land. Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano has been closed since May 11th. Construction Walls up in Disney’s Hollywood Studios Don’t worry, the Muppets won’t be missing from Disney’s Hollywood Studios forever. The Muppets will eventually be taking over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in 2026. NEW FUNNEL CAKE ALERT! Is This Hollywood Studios Snack Worth Trying? Disney Springs Starbucks on the West Side The Starbucks on the West Side of Disney Springs is temporarily closed for refurbishment. It closed on March 3rd, and it is expected to reopen in mid-summer. Starbucks is currently closed Have no fear, though — you can still get your Starbucks fix in Disney Springs! Head over to the Disney Springs Marketplace location, which will be open during the refurbishment. Caffeine headaches are not allowed in Disney Springs! Forget The Park Ticket! 2 Limited Time Drinks Are Available NOW At Disney Springs Disney World Hotels Shula’s Steak House — Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel Shula’s Steak House is about to close for good! This steak house, located inside the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, is accepting its last reservations on June 14th and will be closing for good on June 15th. Shula’s Steakhouse Shula’s Steak House will be closing to make way for a new restaurant, Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina. This will be the tenth location of Bourbon Steak and the third location in Florida. We are expecting Bourbon Steak to make its debut sometime in mid-summer 2025. Jellyrolls — Disney’s BoardWalk Jellyrolls at Disney’s BoardWalk officially closed on April 19th, 2025. This entertainment venue has provided our team with countless memories, and we know many others are also sad to see it close. Jellyrolls had its final farewell performance on April 19th and closed its doors forever on Disney’s BoardWalk. Jellyrolls However, this isn’t the end for Jellyrolls, as the bar has said they are “making a move.” We don’t know many details about that move yet, but we will keep you updated. Stormalong Bay and Hurricane Hanna’s– Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts Stormalong Bay is the shared pool between Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. It features a beach, a lazy river, a large pool, and an exciting pirate ship slide! When we stopped by recently, we noticed that the pool had been filled back up with water. We are getting closer to its reopening. Stormalong Bay This pool area will be closed until June for refurbishment. While it’s closed, hotel guests can use the Tidal (Beach Club), Admiral (Yacht Club), and Dunes Cove (Beach Club) leisure pools. Hurricane Hanna’s, the pool bar at Stormalong Bay, will also be closed during the refurbishment. 4. When you think of moseying through Frontierland in Magic Kingdom, going shopping probably isn’t the first thing that comes to your mind. Jessie in Frontierland! And we totally get why — there’s not a ton of shopping to do here! Instead, you may think about going to see Country Bear Musical Jamboree, riding Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, or find yourself pondering what the new Cars land, Piston Peak, will look like in the area. However, that might change soon, because as it turns out, there’s a NEW shop coming to Frontierland! Disney just quietly announced on its website that a new shop, Prairie Outpost, is reopening in Frontierland. Disney explained that you will be able to “Become a fashion pioneer when you shop for wide-brimmed hats, classic fedoras, customized headwear, and more at this stylish shop in Frontierland.” Now, we know, we know — how can a shop be new AND reopening at the same time? Let us explain… ©Disney This NEW shop is replacing a long-abandoned building that used to be home to Prairie Outpost & Supply, which sold iconic park confections like Disney character apples, Mickey Krispies, cookies, and more. We’re going from cookies to…chapeaus! (That’s a fancy word for HAT) Prairie Outpost & Supply Here’s a peek at the location — it’s right next door to the Country Bear Musical Jamboree. ©Disney We stopped by Magic Kingdom to take a look! Think of this as the “BEFORE” while we wait for the shop to reopen. We don’t have an opening date yet, but we’ll keep our eyes out for new details! There it is! We’re really looking forward to seeing this spot open and think it’ll be a fun addition to the area! This is especially true considering this land will be losing TWO attractions when Tom Sawyer Island and the Liberty Belle Riverboat close in July to make way for Piston Peak. At least having some more shopping to do will bring something new to the land! We’re looking forward to it! Looking for more recent Magic Kingdom news? Check out our posts below! 6. It’s almost time to start thinking about Halloween Time in Disneyland. Now, Halloween Time is the BEST time to visit Disneyland (no, we are not taking any other opinions on that) because Disneyland goes ALL out for the spooky season. Both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure get Halloween decorations (pay attention, Disney World). There are also a TON of spooky snacks released in both parks and in Downtown Disney. Haunted Mansion even gets a Nightmare Before Christmas overlay. Halloween in California Adventure And then you’ve got Oogie Boogie Bash, Disneyland Resort’s special Halloween party. Well, before you buy tickets for Oogie Boogie Bash, we want to give you a heads up about this event. Oogie Boogie Bash will take place on select nights at Disney California Adventure from August 17th through October 31st. This special ticketed event will cost you anywhere from $139 to $199 per person, depending on the date, so you’ll want to know what you’re in for before you commit to buying tickets. Oogie Boogie Bash 2024 It’s hard to get tickets The first thing you need to know is if you REALLY want to go to Oogie Boogie Bash, tickets are hard to come by. That’s because the event is limited, meaning only a certain number of tickets are available each night. Now, this event is VERY popular (for good reason), so if you plan on getting tickets, you need to be online and ready to buy as soon as they’re available because they sell out fast. ©Disney Inspire Magic Key Holders can buy tickets as early as June 24th, while all other Magic Key Holders can buy tickets on June 25th. The general public will have to wait until June 26th to grab tickets. Buying tickets can be stressful (we’re talking Eras Tour tickets kind of stress), and there’s a chance you may not be able to get tickets. 7 Tricks That Will Make Buying Oogie Boogie Bash Tickets 10X EASIER Everything confirmed this year If YOU do get tickets, you’re in for a real treat because there is a lot to see and do at the party. Disney has already confirmed this year’s entertainment, including the return of the Frightfully Fun Parade and the Treat Trails, where you can see Disney villains. The walkthrough attraction, Villains Grove, will also return this year. Frightfully Fun Parade You’ll also get to take advantage of Halloween ride overlays during the party, including Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree, Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween, and Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark. You’ll even find a few special offerings like the Oogie Boogie Bash dessert party and the Oogie Boogie VIP Tour. Plus, PhotoPass photographers will be on hand to capture every moment at special photo ops around California Adventure. You can’t possibly do everything Another thing to be aware of is the need to plan your evening. We’ll be covering the party to give you an idea of what to expect, so you can start making a list of your Oogie Boogie Bash priorities. You’ll want to make sure to hit those things before you do other things at the party. Hades at Oogie Boogie Bash We also don’t recommend using valuable party time to ride attractions, although lines will be short. The party offers so much exclusive stuff to do that you don’t want to waste time on rides you can ride with a regular park ticket. Use that early entry time wisely You can actually get into California Adventure at 3 PM, although the party doesn’t start until 6 PM. You can use that time to meet a lot of characters that meet during the day (if you’re a Marvel fan, you can see a TON of characters in Avengers Campus during this time). You can also use that time to hop on rides. This is also a good time to check out merchandise because a lot of Oogie Boogie Bash merchandise is available during the day. Oogie Boogie Bash If one of your priorities is something that will inevitably have long lines throughout the evening, you can also use that time to get over to that area early and stake out a spot to do that thing as soon as the party officially starts. This is the only time you can wear a costume Disney has VERY specific rules about wearing costumes in the parks: you can’t — EXCEPT during Oogie Boogie Bash. You’re encouraged to wear costumes to the party, as long as they meet specific rules (they don’t drag on the ground, your face isn’t covered with a mask, etc. — you can read the rules on the Disneyland website). Oogie Boogie Bash wristband So if you want to dress up and go trick or treating like you did when you were a kid (because yes, there IS trick or treating), here’s your chance. The most popular treat trails have shorter lines later The first thing people do when they get to the party is start hitting up those popular treat trails, and some of those are VERY popular. For example, you’ll see long lines for those who want to go through Oogie Boogie’s treat trail (it is his party, after all). However, if you want to meet Oogie Boogie and don’t want to waste time in a long line, wait until later. Those treat trail lines get shorter as the evening progresses. Oogie Boogie at Oogie Boogie Bash That’s because everyone is heading towards those first, so by the end of the evening, a lot of folks (especially those with kids) have already left the party early. So wait it out and you’ll save a lot of time. Prioritize Characters You are going to see a lot of rare characters at Oogie Boogie Bash, and if you have some that are absolute musts, you’ll need to prioritize those over other characters. Some characters might have long lines throughout the night, so you’ll want to hit up those characters early. Clarabelle, Minnie, and Daisy as The Sanderson Sisters ALWAYS have long lines You’ll also see random villains pop up from time to time, so keep an eye out because you never know who might turn up. Make time for the parade The Frightfully Fun Parade is a MUST, and you’ll want to make sure to squeeze it into your evening. The good news is that you won’t have to stake out a spot too early, as this is a limited-ticket event. However, you’ll want to have an idea of where you’ll be watching it about 20-30 minutes before it starts. Frightfully Fun Parade You’ll also have two opportunities to see the parade. Pro tip: the second parade is generally less crowded, so you should have a wide choice of spots to watch it from. If you want to just celebrate Halloween, you don’t need a ticket If you just want to celebrate the spirit of Halloween in a general way, you may not want an Oogie Boogie Bash ticket. That’s because Disneyland has a lot of Halloween things going on during the day at the parks outside of the party. You’ve got decorations in both parks, you’ve got those ride overlays, you’ve got Jack and Sally meeting all day long in Disneyland, and more. There’s plenty of Halloween fun to be had outside Oogie Boogie Bash So you might want to ask yourself if the cost of a party ticket is worth it if you just want to have some general Halloween fun. You can have a spooky good time in Disneyland without an Oogie Boogie Bash ticket. BUT this is one of Disney’s best After Hours events With that said, though, if you can swing the price of a ticket and manage to get a ticket to Oogie Boogie Bash, you are in for a fun time. This is one of the best-themed After Hours events of the year, which is why tickets sell out so quickly for it. We hate to say it, but Oogie Boogie Bash is the superior party when compared to Disney World’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Even Sid thinks this is Disney’s best party So we think the cost of the ticket to Oogie Boogie Bash is well worth it. You’ll have a great time. We’ll be at the first Oogie Boogie Bash of the season, so stay tuned to DFB for more. DON'T DO IT ALONE! 7. We know, we know, it’s not even Halloween season yet, but Disney’s always ahead of the game, and so are we! Jollywood Nights Map Jollywood Nights is a specially themed winter event that debuted in Disney’s Hollywood Studios two years ago. The first year the event debuted, Disney had to deal with a bit of a learning curve. But as the event carried on, things kept getting better, and now, a lot of us are wondering if we’ll see it return in 2025. While Disney hasn’t officially confirmed anything just yet, we have a pretty good feeling that Jollywood Nights will return in 2025. Here’s what we know. We just recently took a look at the Disney Careers website, where Disney posts its job offerings for all different departments, including entertainment, and spotted a casting call for something we’re VERY familiar with, because we’ve seen it before! ©Disney Yes, Disney is now looking for Seasonal Vocalists and Dancers for Jollywood Nights, so this is a pretty sure sign that it’s returning this holiday season! At this time, it’s not clear what shows will be returning or if we’ll see any new ones this year. These casting calls don’t specify which show the role is for, as it appears Disney doesn’t want to reveal that information just yet. 8. If you’re staying at a Disney World hotel, you’ll probably want to know where you can get quick food, and the good news is that every Disney World hotel has a quick service location where you can do just that. Riviera Resort If you happen to be staying at Disney’s Riviera Resort, that quick service location is Primo Piatto. We decided to stop by this dining spot to check out some eats for dinner to help you decide if it’s worth stopping by when you’re at the hotel and need a little pick-me-up or a meal. Atmosphere You’ll find Primo Piatto on the ground floor of the Riviera. The restaurant has two entrances: One on the first floor of the hotel and one by the pool. Primo Piatto There are two ways to order here: You can use Mobile Order or you can order at the cash registers. Counter If you use Mobile Order, you can pick up your order in the same spot you can grab napkins and utensils. Mobile Order pick-up Primo Piatto also has a grab-and-go section where you can…well…grab and go pre-packaged meals and snacks. Grab and Go A refrigerated section is stocked full of beverages and…GELATO (yep, you can get gelato here). Refrigerated beverages and snacks There’s also a beverages station with a Coca-Cola Freestyle Machine, as well as coffee and tea. If you purchase the Resort Refillable Mug, this is where you can fill it up. Fountain beverages, coffee, and tea There is also a lot of seating available with tables, banquettes, and booths. Seating But enough about this spot’s atmosphere — what’s on the menu here?! Menu Primo Piatto serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The lunch and dinner menu includes pizzas, several entrees, sandwiches, and salads, as well as desserts. Menu And now, onto the main event — the food! Eats First up, we grabbed the Bacon Cheddar Burger for $14.69. It’s made with Signature-blend Brisket and Chuck Burger, Bacon, Aged Cheddar, and Garlic Mayonnaise. Brisket and chuck? Oh, my! Well, let’s just say that sounds impressive, but this burger…well, it’s not. It actually was more like a standard Disney burger you could get at any quick service location. This was a real missed opportunity. Bacon Cheddar Burger The cheddar is nice and melted on the burger, and the patty is nice and thick, plus you get all the toppings. It’s not a BAD burger, but this is the Riviera. This is a deluxe hotel. This is a fancy place, but this burger…well, it ain’t fancy. Even the burger bun is just so NORMAL. Now, you can choose between regular fries or garlic parmesan fries as a side, so we obviously got the garlic parmesan, and the garlic and parmesan were basically just added to the fries as an afterthought. Really, Riviera? That’s the best you’ve got? And we know, we know, there are more exciting things on the menu. But it’s our job to try it all. So we had to see if this burger was serving…and it isn’t. Just a regular burger Okay, moving on… We also ordered the Croque Monsieur for $13.69, which is a Classic French Ham and Swiss Sandwich served with a choice of Side. Now, THIS, THIS is what we’d expect from the Riviera. It’s a classic Croque Monsieur with buttery bread that’s also got cheese melted on top of it with some scallions. Then you’ve got that creamy cheese on the inside with thinly sliced ham, and it’s creamy and a little salty and PERFECTION. Croque Monsieur It’s such a classic French sandwich, but it’s done beautifully here. We got regular fries as a side, but they’re Disney fries. We know what Disney fries taste like, right? Granted, we are fans of those fries. SO cheesy Okay, on to dessert. We stuck with the whole fries theme and got the Strawberry-Chocolate Fries, which are Cinnamon-Sugar French Fries topped with Chocolate Ganache, Strawberries, and Honey Cream Cheese for $6.99. Y’all…this was a great choice, and we might be slightly obsessing over this dessert. There are these juicy pieces of actual strawberries on them with some fun yellow sprinkles, cream cheese, and a chocolate syrup that tastes like Hershey’s, but it all works well because the fries themselves are like churros. Strawberry-Chocolate Fries That just makes this dessert SING. Even the sprinkles add a nice little crunch to each bite. Anyway, we wanted to inhale these, but we still have more food to try. So we’ll have to come back and order them again. SO good Finally, we grabbed the Riviera Cookie Box, which is…a box of cookies (yeah, big stretch there, right?) for $12.49. Riviera Cookie Box You get four cookies that are all a souped-up version of a chocolate chip cookie. So they’re a typical chocolate chip cookie, although we could also taste some kosher salt baked in, as well as walnuts, dried cherries, and pistachios. Yep, you could taste all the ingredients. Four cookies The pistachios and walnuts give the cookie a nice added crunch, but the cookie itself is very soft. We appreciated all the flavors, so well done, souped-up chocolate chip cookie. These cookies are EXTRA So…what do we think overall? Nosh or Not This Disney World restaurant is a must-visit if… You want a quick meal. This is a quick service restaurant, so if you want to grab a quick bite to eat, this is where you can do it. And Mobile Order makes that even easier. You want something a little fancier than standard quick service. Apart from the burger, the other offerings on the menu here are a little extra than what you might find at, say, an All-Star Resort food court. You’re on a budget. The prices here are reasonable (for Disney World) and won’t break your budget. You should skip this Disney World spot if… You want a special burger. Look, you can get a standard Disney burger just about anywhere, and the one here is basically that. If you want something MORE in a burger, skip this location and head to D-Luxe Burger in Disney Springs, pop by Steakhouse 71 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, or any of the other dozens of locations that have truly great burgers. You’re not staying at the Riviera. You’re probably not going to want to travel all the way to the Riviera just to eat at its quick service location unless you’re already on the Skyliner and headed in that general direction. You want a table service meal. If you’re looking for a table service dining experience, skip Primo Piatto and make a reservation at Topolino’s Terrace instead. Full spread Overall Although the burger at Primo Piatto proved disappointing, we would come back for the dessert fries and the Croque Monsieur if we were in the Riviera area. This is a good spot to grab a quick bite to eat if you’re staying at the hotel or if you’re able to get there easily via the Skyliner. 9. Okay, so Disneyland is practically ALWAYS getting new snacks…like ALL the time. Honestly, we wouldn’t blame you if you had trouble keeping up. Disneyland Tomorrowland Now, we’ve already made our way through a lot of the 70th Anniversary Celebration snacks (and found a few favorites), but there’s a new snack that just popped up in Tomorrowland, and well, Disney, you had us interested because it’s a French fry-based snack. We can’t turn down an excuse to eat potatoes, so we headed over to Galactic Grill to check it out. Meet the Space Place Cottage Fries for $9.49. These are cottage fries tossed in Parmesan Butter and Parsley, served with House-made Ranch. Like we said, we were interested as soon as we heard “fries.” Cottage fries are basically potatoes cut into thick rounds that are baked or fried until they’re nice and crispy. Now, we’ll admit that THESE cottage fries were a little dry and even had a slightly stale texture, and that is why we’re so confused. Space Place Cottage Fries Because you see, the flavor is SO good. The garlic, parmesan, and parsley flavors are just a wonderful combination…and that ranch? Well, that is the best ranch on property. How could you do this to us, Disney? Now, we are willing to come back and try these again, just in case we got a bad batch or something, because these certainly have a lot of potential. They have potential Now, let’s talk about price. That’s another thing that disappointed us. For $9.49, you really don’t get a lot. This is more of a shareable snack than an entree, and believe it or not, Disney has it listed as an entree. We don’t think so. So, yeah, these are worth a try for the ranch dip, though, so there’s that. Don’t want to go through all of the stress of booking your Disney World trip alone? 10. Have you noticed that Disney adults are entering their plush accessory era? ©Disney If you’ve been scrolling through Disney TikTok or strolling through the parks lately, you’ve probably seen a bunch of backpacks with tiny plushies strapped to them like the stars of their own show. Yeah, welcome to the Mini Mix-Its moment. These plush cuties aren’t just adorable — they’re collectible, wearable, and totally park-day ready. Let’s have a look at the Mini Mix-Its plushes that Disney adults are totally obsessed with right now. DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. Lady Disney Mini Mix-Its Plush ©Disney Let’s just say it: Lady is the moment. With her long floppy ears, sweet embroidered features, and that iconic “Bella Notte” vibe, this plush brings vintage Disney romance energy to your park outfit. The detachable plush hat? A checkered-tablecloth-and-spaghetti combo inspired by her dinner date at Tony’s Restaurant. It’s giving picnic chic, and we’re here for it. ©Disney Even better? This plush celebrates the 70th anniversary of Lady and the Tramp, so if you’re the type to cry during the spaghetti scene (hi, same), this one’s a no-brainer. Pair it with Tramp (sold separately), and you’ve got a full couple’s costume in plush form. View on Disney Store White Rabbit Disney Mini Mix-Its Plush ©Disney Is this the cutest thing to come out of Alice in Wonderland since the Dormouse? Honestly, yes. The White Rabbit Mini Mix-Its plush is part of the Mad Tea Party Series and brings all the chaotic tea-time energy. You can even strap him to your bag and channel his “I’m late!” panic as you sprint to your next Lightning Lane reservation. ©Disney With his embroidered features and soft construction, he’s cuddly enough to squeeze, but it’s the teacup hat that makes him stand out. He looks like he just spun off the ride at Magic Kingdom — and honestly, we love a dizzy vibe. View on Disney Store Donald Duck Disney Mini Mix-Its Plush ©Disney Donald has entered the chat — and he’s ready to rocket. This Magic Kingdom Series plush comes with a tiny hat inspired by the Astro Orbiter ride, and it’s pretty much the cutest launch sequence you’ve ever seen. Between the soft fabric and embroidered details, Donald is giving “spacebound sass” in the best way. ©Disney You’ll want to clip him to your bag for your Tomorrowland day or just keep him on display at home next to your Dole Whip-scented candle. He’s versatile like that. View on Disney Store Pluto Disney Mini Mix-Its Plush ©Disney Spooky but still adorable? Pluto nailed the assignment. This plush is part of the Magic Kingdom Series and comes with a hat inspired by the gargoyles in The Haunted Mansion. It even has satin candle details. Yes, SATIN. CANDLES. If you’re a Disney adult who lives for all things Mansion, this is your guy. ©Disney He clips onto a backpack, purse, or fanny pack just as easily as the rest, and the hat swaps make it extra fun if you’ve collected others in the series. 11. One of Disney Cruise Line‘s new ships is the Disney Adventure, which will set sail from Singapore in December 2025. As you can see, it’s still a work in progress. ©Disney While the ship still has a lot of construction left to go before it’s ready to sail and begin welcoming passengers, Disney has already started casting for the live entertainment on board. We know about some of the shows that will happen onboard, and now we know that at least ONE of them will include a new type of entertainment! The Disney Careers website now lists a casting call for the Disney Adventure! Disney Cruise Line is casting for female-identifying performers between the heights of 5’7″ and 5’10” for live entertainment onboard! It doesn’t state exactly what show Disney is casting for, but we have a few ideas about what it COULD be. Listen to this line, “For the first time in Forever… Disney Cruise Line is casting for Puppeteers!” Hey, we’d recognize that song lyric anywhere! ©Disney Careers Disney is searching for performers skilled in four different types of puppetry: large puppet operators, rod and hand puppet performers, EXO suit puppet operators, and specialty puppet roles. So, what could these performers be doing? Well, we know that the Disney Adventure cruise ship will feature the Enchanted Summer Restaurant with two dining rooms inspired by Tangled and Frozen, and with that hint in the casting call, could these puppeteers be doing something Frozen-related? ©Disney While these performers may be used in a range of shows across the ship, they could also be casting for the new Moana: Call of the Sea show. Disney describes that show as being a musical retelling of Moana “as told by a captivating ensemble of island storytellers, accompanied by music, movement, puppetry and water effects.” ©Disney As for the other entertainment on board (which, again, could also contain puppetry!), you’ll also be able to experience: Avengers Assemble! — a live show featuring Marvel characters, jaw-dropping stunts, and special effects ©Disney Cruise Line Duffy and The Friend Ship — This show features Duffy and Friends, plus Tippy Blu (the captain), and according to Disney, it’ll have “captivating songs, stunning visuals and joyous moments, discover the magic of the ocean, the power of imagination and the true meaning of friendship.” ©Disney Cruise Line Captain Jack Sparrow & the Siren Queen — This is a live show featuring Captain Jack Sparrow live and in person, and various screens will bring the Siren Queen to life ©Disney Cruise Line Remember — Disney describes this show as an “all-new musical extravaganza [that] enlists heroes from Coco, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and other favorite Disney and Pixar animated films to restore EVE’s memories through the power of music, hope and treasured remembrances.” ©Disney Disney Seas the Adventure — Here you’ll join some of your favorite Disney and Pixar characters for a show “filled with rousing renditions of iconic Disney tunes” ©Disney Baymax Super Exercise Expo — Join Hiro and Baymax in a high-energy musical exercise routine! 13. If you’re planning a trip to Disney World, you’ve probably already figured out your budget, as well as figured out how much you’re spending on your hotel, tickets, and more. Rise of the Resistance Lightning Lane However, it’s not quite as easy to plan for purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass (Disney’s skip-the-line service) because you don’t really know TOO far in advance how much those are going to cost. That’s because pricing is based on the date, but one thing is always certain: you can expect the price to go up around a holiday — and that’s exactly what we’re seeing for the 4th of July this year. So we can see a bit ahead of time what Lightning Lane Multi Prices are going to be, and now that we’re able to see where prices are for early July, we can see what prices will be heading into the 4th of July weekend. Here’s how pricing breaks down for Lightning Lane Multi Pass on July 1st through 5th: July 1st: $27 for Magic Kingdom, $19 for EPCOT, $27 for Hollywood Studios, $17 for Animal Kingdom July 2nd: $32 for Magic Kingdom, $18 for EPCOT, $27 for Hollywood Studios, $17 for Animal Kingdom July 3rd: $32 for Magic Kingdom, $21 for EPCOT, $29 for Hollywood Studios, $19 for Animal Kingdom July 4th: $35 for Magic Kingdom, $24 for EPCOT, $32 for Hollywood Studios, $22 for Animal Kingdom July 5th: $35 for Magic Kingdom, $24 for EPCOT, $32 for Hollywood Studios, $22 for Animal Kingdom Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway Lightning Lane As you can see, pricing for July 1st is about the same as what we’re seeing for late June, but as we get closer to the holiday, the prices go up quite a bit. You’ll also pay more for a Lightning Lane Single Pass. Here’s the Lightning Lane Single Pass pricing for July 4th-5th: Seven Dwarfs Mine Train: $12 TRON Lightcycle/ Run $20 Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind: $17 Rise of the Resistance: $22 Flight of Passage: $16 Lightning Lane for Flight of Passage So you’ll want to keep these prices in mind if you’re visiting Disney World that weekend. 14. Sometimes, it can be too easy to open your wallet without thinking in Hollywood Studios. Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway Merch Stand Between the immersive theming, the ride hype, and the “you can only get it here” souvenirs, the park is basically designed to make you shop on instinct. And hey, sometimes it works out — I’ve bought stuff I still love years later. But today, we’re not talking about those wins. Today, we’re talking about the “why did I do that?” purchases I’d probably skip if I had a do-over. Here are four things I regret impulse buying in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Fantasmic! Dining Package Here’s the thing: that amphitheater is massive. You absolutely do not need the dining package to get a decent view, especially if you’re willing to show up just a little early. Fantasmic! returns! If you’re already planning to eat at one of the restaurants included in the package, fine — it’s a nice perk to tack on. But don’t book it just for the reserved seating. It’s not worth locking yourself into an expensive (and potentially underwhelming) meal just to sit a few rows closer in a theater that fits thousands. Save your money — and your appetite — for something better. The Remote-Control Droid I Built at Droid Depot This one hurts because the process of building the droid was actually really fun. You get to choose your parts, put the whole thing together on a conveyor belt, and activate it with lights and sound. It’s one of those immersive Galaxy’s Edge experiences that feels super unique in the moment. Droid Depot But now that I’m home, well, that droid is just… sitting in the corner of my office, collecting dust. I’ve used it maybe three times total. It doesn’t do much beyond roll around and beep, and unless you’re a hardcore collector or planning to display it, it doesn’t really serve a long-term purpose. Droid and droid backpack It’s also not cheap. And while it was a cool memory, I’d honestly rather have spent that money on another snack crawl through the park or even saved it for a second round on Rise of the Resistance with a Lightning Lane purchase. If you’ve got a kid who’s really into it or a specific plan for how you’ll use it after the trip, go for it. But for me? Definitely an impulse buy, I didn’t think through. Character-Specific Lightsabers Let me preface this by saying the lightsaber-building experience at Savi’s Workshop is still one of the coolest things I’ve done in a Disney park. If you’ve never done it, it’s incredibly immersive, and you walk away with a custom saber that feels like real movie merch. Peace and Justice Pieces But the specialty lightsabers — the ones based on specific characters, like Luke, Vader, or Ahsoka — aren’t built through the experience. You buy them straight off the shelf at Dok-Ondar’s. They’re detailed and beautifully made, but unless you’re planning to display them in a case, they don’t really do much. Darth Maul Legacy lightsaber set I bought one on a whim because it looked amazing, and I got caught up in the Star Wars hype. But once I got it home, well, it went into a closet. It’s heavy, a little awkward to store, and not really something I feel the need to take out and show people. If you’re a diehard fan or collector, this could still be a worthwhile buy. But for most people, I’d say think twice before dropping a lot of money on a saber that won’t see the light of day after your trip. Pressed Pennies These get me every time. They’re cheap, they’re cute, and they feel like the perfect little “souvenir that doesn’t take up space.” I swear I have spent more time standing in front of those machines trying to pick which character to get than I have actually looking at the pennies once I’m home. Pressed Penny Machine The truth is, I never keep them in a place where I’ll see them. They either end up buried at the bottom of a bag, lost in a drawer, or forgotten completely. And they don’t exactly hold up as keepsakes the way pins or magnets do. So even though they seem harmless at just a couple of bucks each, they add up fast, and for me, they usually just become tiny metal regrets. Pressed Penny Machine If you’re someone who collects them in a book or makes a point to organize and display them, they could be a fun tradition. But if you’re like me and don’t have a system, you’ll probably forget about them before you even get to the parking lot. Pressed Pennies Hollywood Studios has some seriously cool stuff, but just because something looks awesome in the moment doesn’t mean it’s going to feel worth it later. Our advice? 15. A LOT is going on in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We just witnessed the arrival of two brand-new shows (The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure and Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After). We also just said goodbye to Muppets Courtyard as it was closed recently to make way for a new Monsters, INC. land. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Well, as you may know, the Muppets will be moving over to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster sometime in 2026, and we’ve just spotted a new permit that could hint at future work to get ready for the coaster’s closure and re-theming. R0ck ‘n’ Roller Coaster isn’t set to close until 2026, but this new permit is for a trailer that already exists near the attraction and is likely getting ready to be used for Imagineering as they begin work next year on re-theming the ride. The permit is for “general construction,” which could basically mean anything, but it’s likely the crew is just going to set that trailer up and have it ready for when the real work begins on the ride. ©Orange County, FL This is the first of what will likely be many permits for the ride, but we’re still at least six or seven months out before actual construction will begin. Disney hasn’t revealed many details about the new ride, except that it will star the Muppets and they will be will be teaming up with some of “music’s biggest stars for a rockin’ music festival.” Believe it or not, this will be the first ACTUAL ride starring the Muppets! ©Disney Disney has promised the ride will offer “laughter, screams, and new tunes for this attraction for fans to enjoy throughout the adventure.” The company also teased new Muppets merchandise on Sunset Boulevard. Okay, WE ARE STOKED. We LOVE the Muppets! Of course, we’ll be keeping an eye out for more hints about what the new Muppets ride will be all about, so stay tuned to DFB for more. 17. We won’t lie — we’ve been spending a lot of time at Universal Orlando’s new Epic Universe theme park. The new park pretty much does live up to its “epic” name, after all. We’ve also enjoyed checking out ALL the restaurants and snack spots throughout Epic Universe in each of its five lands, but our most recent visit uncovered some exciting news: a NEW restaurant will be opening in Epic Universe in 2026. Yep, Epic Universe is already getting ready to add something NEW. When we recently visited Epic Universe, we were just making our way through Celestial Park and noticed a sign on an empty building just to the right as you head toward How To Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk. Empty building This sign informed us that a new restaurant will be opening in that building in 2026. How exciting! Now, we don’t have any details on what kind of restaurant this will be, except to quote the sign that it will offer “a galaxy of flavors and culinary delights.” Okay, that’s enough for us, we’re in! New restaurant! You’ll already find several dining spots in Celestial Park. You can grab seafood and steak at Atlantic. The Blue Dragon offers Asian-inspired cuisine. You can grab some barbecue and something to wet your whistle at The Oak & Star Tavern. You can indulge in some fun space-inspired pizzas at Pizza Moon. Meteor Astropub is celestial gastropub. This new restaurant would be the sixth restaurant in this land. Pizza Moon Don’t want to go through all of the stress of booking your Epic Universe trip alone? 19. Given Disney World’s Central Florida location, hurricanes are an unfortunate fact of life for the resort, which means that there’s a chance Disney World guests could be stuck in their hotel, riding out a storm. In that terrible situation, there are some options better than others… Crowds in Magic Kingdom ahead of the hurricane In the last several years, Disney World has dealt with several hurricanes, including Hurricane Milton in 2024. During those storms, Disney shut down their theme parks and other attractions, instructing guests to shelter in place. During Milton, Disney provided discounted room rates, meals, and Hurricane Kits to guests, as well as Disney character appearances to calm the nerves of children. While Disney provides for all guests on property during a storm, there are some hotels that are better suited to sheltering in place. The Contemporary One of Disney World’s two opening day hotels is also one of the best options on property to ride out a storm. Well, its main tower anyway. Disney’s Contemporary Resort The main Contemporary tower provides everything one could need while sheltered in place, all within one structure, including access to food and large spaces to spread out. And yes, before you ask, the openings for the Monorail DO close during bad weather conditions. speaking of the Monorail, staying at the Contemporary gives the benefit of the having access to the Monorail once the resort reopens, assuming there’s no damage to the track or vehicles. Animal Kingdom Lodge Much like the Contemporary, the Animal Kingdom Lodge provides a large space that allows guests to shelter in place without feeling too cramped. Plus, the hotel also boasts easy access to the essentials, and even a theme that may help keep children calm during the worst of the storm. Animal Kingdom Lodge Riviera Resort Coming full circle from the Contemporary, Disney’s newest full resort is also almost entirely self-contained within one structure, allowing guests sheltering in place to access everything they could need while riding out the storm. Similar to the Contemporary’s Monorail access, the Riviera is connected to the Skyliner, meaning that – assuming there’s no damage to the Skyliner systems – guests will have access to reliable transportation once things are back operational. Disney’s Riviera Resort Vacation Club Villas Several hotels on Disney Property are home to Vacation Club Villas, including the Wilderness Lodge’s Copper Creek Villas and those at the Saratoga Springs Resort. These villas, complete with their kitchen or kitchenette areas, are the best option for guests who wish to hunker down completely in their room and avoid even heading to the hotel lobby or other areas of the resort until the storm has passed. Kitchen at Copper Creek While those hotels are best for people on property during a hurricane, what happens if a storm is set to strike just before you head off on a Walt Disney World trip? Well, Disney’s official policy is as follows: “If a hurricane warning is issued by the National Hurricane Center for the Orlando area—or for your place of residence—within 7 days of your scheduled arrival date, you may reschedule or cancel your Walt Disney Travel Company Disney Resort hotel packages and most room only reservations (booked directly with Disney) without any cancellation or change fees imposed by Disney. Most room-only and vacation packages can be modified or cancelled online, including changes to travel dates.” Magic Kingdom entrance the day after Hurricane Milton If you find yourself stuck in Walt Disney World during a hurricane, keep these hotels in mind as a place of safe refuge. 21. Not all Mickey-shaped snacks at Disney are created equal. Disneyland Entrance and Train Station Disneyland has seen a TON of changes and new eats lately. We’ve been multitasking lately by celebrating Disneyland’s 70th anniversary celebration AND trying out a few of the newest menu items. Now, it’s time to see if you should make this new snack a priority or skip it during your next Disney trip. Walking around Disneyland all day can work up an appetite, so we decided to take a stroll down New Orleans Square to see what we could scrounge up! New Orleans Square Our search for something savory during our visit led us to Royal Street Verandah, where we spotted a new snack we just had to get our hands on! Royal Street Verandah We decided to pick up the Buffalo Chicken Beignet Slider for $11.49! It’s made of fried chicken dipped in buffalo sauce and creamy slaw on a Mickey-shaped beignet. Buffalo Chicken Beignet Slider And while it might be cute to look at, that’s really where it stopped for us in appeal. Once we really got to dig into this slider, we quickly realized that a unique concept doesn’t always translate well in practice. The beignets are like Tiana’s standard beignets with no fluff, but the crust has the consistency of a bun. Our best guess is that Disney may have had to adjust the recipe slightly to accommodate the heavy sauce and creaminess of the slaw to keeping the entire slider together. It’s cute at least! As for how it tastes, well…the chicken was way overdone (maybe double-fried), and the buffalo sauce was probably the tastiest part. The sauce is your traditional spicy buffalo sauce with a bit of a kick! The slaw on the slider was almost flavorless, which was a bit disappointing as we found it to lean into the too creamy and saucy realm. It’s not all bad, though. The beignets had a nice sweetness to them, which on their own would have been great, but they’re quickly overpowered by the stronger taste of the buffalo sauce. From the looks of things around us, these sandwiches weren’t exactly flying off the shelf, either. Inside the slider We’re all for trying unique Disney foods, but this one was a bit of a miss for us this time around. WE KNOW – there are SO many great snacks at Disney World! How do you choose (we don’t want to choose but will blow our budget on Day 1 otherwise)? We’ve got you covered! 23. We are obsessed with Disney food (Who would have thought? It’s not like we call ourselves Disney Food Blog or anything ). We are constantly reviewing restaurants, and we are always on the lookout for new Disney food. EPCOT When we spot something new, you can bet your bottom dollar we will be giving it a try. We recently spotted a new treat in EPCOT, so we are stopping by Connections Cafe to try it out! The Caramel Macchiato Blondie has debuted at Connections Cafe, and, of course, we had to try it out. While it is just displayed as a Blondie, a Cast Member let us know that it is technically called a Caramel Macchiato Blondie. You can get this treat for $5.29. Connections Cafe is the Starbucks in EPCOT, and it is on the other side of Connections Eatery, so you can also grab your favorite drink while getting this sweet treat! Caramel Macchiato Blondie The treat has a blondie base and is topped with dulce de leche, a dollop of caramel, and a chocolate-covered coffee bean. While the blondie is supposed to be caramel and macchiato, we mostly got the caramel flavor, and didn’t taste much coffee flavor. The chocolate-covered coffee bean on top did provide a crunch of coffee flavor, but the blondie itself is mostly caramel-flavored. Caramel Macchiato Blondie The blondie base was sweet and fluffy. It was a bit dry and crumbly, but the caramel and custard topping helped a lot. On top of the base, there was a milky and creamy topping, followed by an ooey, gooey caramel topping. The milky, dulce de leche topping added a wonderful creaminess to the treat. We weren’t expecting that layer to be there at first, so it was a fun surprise when we broke open the blondie. Caramel Macchiato Blondie Overall, we really enjoyed this treat, and it is a decent size. You could split this with someone else, although we can confirm that it can also be devoured by one person (we may or may not have eaten this guy all in one sitting). We think it would be delicious alongside a coffee or tea, or just as a sweet pick-me-up during the day. If you are a fan of caramel, we think you are going to enjoy this treat! Caramel Macchiato Blondie WE KNOW – there are SO many great snacks at Disney World! How do you choose (we don’t want to choose but will blow our budget on Day 1 otherwise)? We’ve got you covered! 24. A potentially deadly new insect species has arrived in the U.S… and we’re not sleeping anytime soon! U.S. Forestry Service Asian needle ants — yes, that’s really what they’re called, though their scientific name is actually Brachyponera chinensis — are originally native to areas in Japan and the Koreas. The species has been seen in America as far back as 1932, but has only recently started to “cause problems in North America after being relatively unnoticed for many years,” according to the U.S. Forest Service. The species has recently been spotted in several states, including Washington, Florida, Texas, and Mississippi. The Forest Service went on to tell CBS News that the Asian needle ants, which measure 0.2 inches in length, are dark brown or black at the end of the antennae, with lighter orange-brown legs, and are adept at hiding. The agency explained, ”Unlike many invasive species that tend to colonize areas in the wake of natural or human disturbance, Asian needle ants are capable of invading undisturbed forest areas where they nest under and within logs and other debris, under stones, and in leaf litter.” The species preys on other insects and are capable of displacing ant species that are critical for seed dispersal, according to the U.S. Forest Service, meaning that this “invasive species could have dramatic, long-term negative effects on forest understory.” Where’s Ant-Man when we need him? ©Marvel According to Dan Suiter, a professor of urban entomology at the University of Georgia, the ant’s sting can also be life-threatening to humans, especially to those who are at greater risk of going into anaphylactic shock from an insect’s sting. According to Suiter, “It injects venom that can harm you. Its sting can be life-threatening.” He goes on to further say, “If you suffer from anaphylaxis, you should really know what this ant looks like, and it might be smart to carry an EpiPen.” The Forest Service advises citizens to be especially vigilant in areas with logs, rotting wood, or rocks where the ants can nest, and report sightings to the proper authorities. “Unfortunately, as with many invasive species, it appears Asian needle ants are here to stay,” the agency said in a statement. U.S. Forestry Service The potentially deadly Asian needle ant is appearing in greater and greater numbers in the U.S. Stay tuned to DFB for more updates. $2 Million Awarded in Hotel Bed Bug Lawsuit Join the DFB Newsletter to get all the breaking news right in your inbox! 25. Well, it’s almost time…Halloween Time will be arriving in Disneyland in a few months (yeah, we know, summer JUST started, but that’s how it is) and tickets go on sale for Oogie Boogie Bash SOON. Oogie Boogie at Oogie Boogie Bash Oogie Boogie Bash tickets go on sale to the general public on June 26th, and if you have ANY experience (or have heard the horror stories), you’ll know that it might be easier to nab tickets to a Taylor Swift concert than it is to get into Oogie Boogie Bash. Yes, it’s stressful. Yes, it’s hard. But there are a few things that can make the Oogie Boogie Bash ticket-buying experience a little easier, so we’re going to share them with you. So here’s the deal: Oogie Boogie Bash is a separate ticketed event that happens on select nights in Disney California Adventure. It’s also a limited ticket event, meaning only a certain number of tickets are available for each night of the party. Now, this is one of the most popular events in Disneyland, and if you’ve ever been to Oogie Boogie Bash, you’ll certainly understand why: not only do you get to go trick or treating, but you also get a fun Halloween-themed parade and get to see rare characters you’ll never see outside of the party. This is the seriously some of the most fun you can have in Disneyland. Agatha Harkness at Oogie Boogie Bash So here are our best tips to score coveted tickets to this event. Be ready to go when it’s “go” time Disney states that Oogie Boogie Bash tickets will go on sale no earlier than 9 AM PT to the general public on June 26th. Okay, here’s a little secret: we’ve seen tickets go on sale a minute or two before the stated time, so you’ll want to have the Oogie Boogie Bash page on the Disneyland website ready to go a little earlier and just keep hitting “Refresh” and be sure to use those fast reflexes to click on the “Buy Tickets” button the minute it shows up. Mother Gothel You’ll probably end up in a virtual queue, but the faster you can do all this, the better chance you have of scoring tickets. So practice those computer and clicking skills and BE READY. Choose less popular dates The closer you get to Halloween, the harder it will be to get Oogie Boogie Bash tickets. Save for the first night of the party, you’ll probably have better luck if you choose dates that aren’t so popular, especially those in the middle of the week. Frightfully Fun Parade Also, it’s a good idea to have a few dates in mind and be flexible so you can grab tickets for whichever date still has tickets available. Your best bet is to grab whatever date you can get and then plan your Disneyland trip around that, rather than the other way around. Buy an Inspire Magic Key If you happen to catch it when Magic Keys go back on sale, you could even consider buying an Inspire Magic Key, so you can get early access to tickets. Inspire Magic Key holders can buy Oogie Boogie Bash tickets as early as June 24th. However, all other Magic Key Holders can get tickets as early as June 25th. Oogie Boogie Bash Magic Key entrance Now, being a Magic Key Holder still doesn’t guarantee you a ticket, because ticket sales for Magic Key holders are also limited. But you get more shots at grabbing tickets by having a Magic Key. Have multiple people ready to buy tickets at the same time A good strategy is to have multiple people on the Disneyland website ready to buy tickets. Then whoever gets through the virtual queue first has the best shot of getting tickets for your entire party. Just coordinate with your family and friends to improve your chance at getting tickets. Villains Grove at Oogie Boogie Bash The odds dictate that the more people you have trying to get tickets for your party, the better chance one of them has at grabbing tickets before they’re all gone. Prepare for technical issues One thing you can almost count on for every Oogie Boogie Bash ticket sale is that the website will experience some kind of technical issue.
