Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE going to Disney World. That being said, there is one thing that will have me hesitant for a Disney day! Magic Kingdom It may be a weird reason, but I just can’t do Disney World in a group of three. If you give me a chance, I can explain, and you’ll probably see why! Disney World is always a good time. Whether I’m strolling through Main Street at Magic Kingdom, exploring the galaxy at Hollywood Studios, adventuring in Animal Kingdom, or diving into cultures at EPCOT. It’s even better when you go with friends and family, experiencing the magic together. Main Street! However, groups of three are just a NO for me. I just don’t like having to split up on two-seater rides, which genuinely take up most of my favorite rides at all four of the parks. TRON Lightcycle/Run If you think about it, it’s really an awkward lose-lose situation. You discuss in a group who is sitting alone, and who gets to ride with each other. On the flip side, you try to be nice and take one for the team — but then you end up riding almost everything alone. Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster So we got to the point where you end up sitting alone — NOW you have to deal with the fomo of sitting alone. I can’t be alone in that, right?! Thinking about how the rest of your party is experiencing the ride together, and you’re just not there. I mean, one of my favorite rides at EPCOT is Spaceship Earth…that’s 15 minutes of fomo! Spaceship Earth Honestly, it gets even worse with two rides specifically — Toy Story Mania and Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin. Um…I either end up playing against myself or playing against a stranger. Don’t get me wrong, I love meeting a fellow Disney fan at the park, but we can’t deny that it can just get awkward. Toy Story Mania It gets even worse when you’re sitting with that stranger, and they really aren’t into the ride as much as you are. You can’t even make the competition a real competition. I don’t want to just start yelling at this random person, telling them “I got the best score in the vehicle,” or “Make sure to do these Toy Story Mania hacks!” It’s just harder to get into it. Toy Story Mania I LOVE Expedition Everest, like a lot — but do I scream on it beside a stranger? Do I throw my hands up? Do I look at them? I DON’T KNOW! Everest! All in all, going with a group of three isn’t fully ideal. Come to think of it…could the same be said about every odd number?! Whatever, I’ll always take a Disney day no matter what! Okay, okay. Hear me out. I know we talk about travel essentials all the time, but few things have really impressed me as much as my latest Amazon find. ©Amazon I found a makeup bag set for less than $20 on Amazon, and it has recently become my new travel obsession. Let me show you why! This makeup bag is all of those things. ©Amazon So, this set comes with THREE bags. A makeup bag that has two different compartments. A large section for all of your makeup products, along with a mesh zipper section. ©Amazon And then another zippered compartment for all of your makeup brushes. The plastic piece that covers your brushes does a pretty good job of keeping the bag clean. And there is another zipper compartment for smaller brushes. There is also a handle, which I really enjoy. VIEW ON AMAZON Then there is another bag that is great for perfume, shampoo and conditioner, deodorant, etc. This really is a spacious bag and can fit so many items. Then there is a smaller bag which is so nice for your toothbrush, toothpaste, glasses, etc! This is the size of a pencil bag! Makeup Bag Set On top of that, it’s very easy to clean. I was super hesitant because these makeup bags are white. But all you have to do is throw it in the washing machine and set it out to dry, and you’re good to go! These fit into my bag well, and I seriously can’t believe that both of them are less than $20. They really feel like a travel win, and I was itching to share them with you so you can get in on the goodness! Labor Day weekend is going to be VERY busy in Disney World, and NOT just because it’s Labor Day weekend. Seafood Sharing Board at Raglan Road The EPCOT Food and Wine Festival kicks off on August 29th, so we expect to see some pretty huge Labor Day crowds hitting up the festival during that weekend. However, ANOTHER festival of sorts will also be happening in Disney World…except this one doesn’t require a park ticket. It’s the Great Irish Hooley, and it’s returning this year to Raglan Road in Disney Springs. The Great Irish Hooley is a roots revival music festival that happens every year at Raglan Road. This year, the festival runs from August 29th through September 1st. Some of the top Irish bands will be performing on the indoor and outdoor stages at Raglan Road to entertain folks throughout the weekend. Live music in Raglan Road Here is the full list of performers you’ll get to see during the Great Irish Hooley: Strings & Things Bridín Plain Sailin Men of Aran The Byrne Brothers Bean an Tí Northern Crossing Of course, you can’t have a festival at Raglan Road without the Raglan Road dancers, and they’ll be leading guests in an Irish ceili dance through the pub on August 31st and September 1st. Raglan Road Irish Dancers You also can’t have a festival without food and drinks, so throughout the weekend, Raglan Road will offer up all your favorite beers, cocktails, whiskeys, and authentic Irish dishes. In addition to the restaurant’s all-day menu, you can also grab the Rollicking Raglan Brunch at 9 AM on Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, Labor Day, Raglan Road will open at 10 AM with its all-day menu and brunch specials through noon. Every week, we report the average Disney World wait times in every park so that you can be prepared for your next trip to Disney World! Haunted Mansion Now that summer is winding down and the Halloween season is rolling into Disney World, wait time averages are pretty low. Is this the perfect time to go to Disney World? Well, you’ll have to brave the heat. Let’s see what’s happening with the average wait times in Disney World between August 15th and August 22nd, 2025. Take a look at this week’s average wait times! Magic Kingdom Wait Times Wait times at Magic Kingdom seemed to mostly be what we’d expect for this time of year — except for on days when Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is going on. Then, we often see wait times drop since folks don’t want to waste a day in Magic Kingdom if the park is closing early. It seems counterintuitive, but Magic Kingdom is actually a GREAT park to visit on a party night. I’m not going to Disney World this year. And honestly, it has been a hard pill for me to swallow. Me in front of the casting window You see, I’m a Disney adult through and through. I have gone to Disney World every year for over 12 years. I was also a Disney World Cast Member. But this year, I decided we simply weren’t making the trip to Disney World. This is for a few reasons. Disney World Is EXPENSIVE Duh. We all know that Disney World is so darn expensive these days. I used to be able to swallow the pill of just how expensive it was because I was young and didn’t have a ton of responsibilities. I would just pay for myself and meet my friends who lived in Orlando, or it would be just my husband and me going. It was our one trip of the year, and I always found a way to justify a price. Even if that meant putting myself in bad financial positions (being a Disney Adult can be a bit of an addiction, y’all — just being truthful here). Cinderella Castle But now, I have a toddler and a house and life things that need to be paid for. Groceries ain’t cheap, you know that. And I have just realized that, as much as I love going to the parks, sometimes it’s just not financially responsible to do so. So this year, I told myself to “suck it up, buttercup,” and made the decision that we were going to take a year off from going to the parks. And yes, I have to constantly remind myself that I do, in fact, have a trip booked in February to ease the Disney blues since I haven’t been since last October. Non-Disney Adults are totally judging me right now, but that’s ok. I am who I am. I’m also not just paying for myself and my husband anymore. We now have a 2-year-old son. I took him to Disneyland when he was almost 1 year old and Disney World when he was about 1 1/2. Then he turned 2, and things just got even more expensive because we now have to pay for him when he flies — which is annoying because he won’t leave my lap anyway. And he actually has an appetite, so paying for food comes into play too (Kids do eat free at Disney World in 2026, though). Disney really has been dishing out some HEFTY discounts this year, too (which have been SO very tempting). Emmitt with Mickey Prices for tickets, food, and merchandise have all increased, and very few things have opened since the last time I visited. So it was time for me to take a year off, y’all. Disney World Is Tough With a Toddler On top of Disney World being too expensive, I have experienced Disney with a little one before, and it’s TOUGH. I stay home full-time with my son, and while he is very social, he is also super routine-based. Disney World throws a huge loop in what he’s used to. He really enjoys the characters and the rides, but he also takes a 1-3 3-hour nap every day, and going back to the hotel, getting him down for a nap, and then going back really eats into that park time. And remember, that park time is EXPENSIVE. So being away hours and hours a day just really irks my nerves. He also just wants to run and explore (Who doesn’t?!), but I am one anxious mama, and with all those people around, it just freaks me out a bit. Us in front of Animal Kingdom On top of that, he’s a pretty picky eater. So when we go to Disney World, he ends up living off of the snacks I bring, oranges, and French Fries. All that to say, this is just a good year to take a break. He LOVES all things Disney, and I am super eager to take him next year. He will be older, nap times won’t be as big of a deal, he will be potty trained, and life in the parks will simply be easier. He will be able to ride more attractions, too, which I am PUMPED about. This isn’t me telling you not to take your little one to Disney. The pictures and memories I have from his past few trips were worth every penny. But it’s also ok to wait to take your little one when you really know they will fully be able to enjoy it. To each their own! Emmitt at Disneyland 9 Fool-Proof HACKS for Traveling With Kids to Disney World Closures, Closures, Closures! On top of all my other complaints above (this isn’t like me, I swear), I also decided that there were simply too many closures happening this year. Test Track was closed for a good bit of the year (it has reopened). Big Thunder Mountain is closed, along with Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin. Spaceship Earth is closing for a bit. The Muppets Courtyard is gone. Frontierland is a ghost town. Tom Sawyer Island — gone. Rivers of America — gone. The Liberty Belle — gone. DinoLand — a construction mess filled with closures. Big Thunder next to the Rivers of America Overall You get the point. There’s just a lot that has been taken away this year. And while I am SO eager for the future and know that ride refurbishments and changes are needed, it just pushed me to want to book a trip to Disney World next year instead. I love Disney World and I can’t wait to be back, truly. But these are the reasons that really pushed me to avoid going this year. See the CHEAPEST days to go to Disney World in 2026 — here! Are you skipping a trip to Disney World? Let’s chat about it in the comments below! The post Why I'm NOT Going to Disney World This Year first appeared on the disney food blog. View the full article

We love it when Disney World restaurants think outside the box when it comes to snacks. Deep Fried Hawaiian Roll Now, granted, not all those little food experiments are a hit (Pickle Milkshake, we’re looking at you). But sometimes, Disney World surprises us by doing something with a snack that we never thought of, and the result is not just brilliant, but also delicious. Well, Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs on Disney’s BoardWalk just introduced a new snack that ticks every single box you’d want ticked for a great dessert. Prepare to have you MIND BLOWN. The Deep Fried Hawaiian Roll is now available at Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs and we’re just going to tell you now that it’s worth a trip to the BoardWalk to get it. It’s fried Hawaiian rolls covered in cinnamon and sugar and sweetened condensed milk. For $10, you get three of those beautifully fried rolls that will probably make your dentist cry (but NO REGRETS, y’all). SO good The rolls are super fluffy, plus the whole thing is just hot and gooey and sugary. The condensed milk makes it sort of like an icing — this is the very thing to satisfy your sweet tooth. We’ll also say that it’s now one of the BEST desserts on the BoardWalk. It’s also shareable, if you want to share. Ooey and gooey goodness So, thank you again, Disney World, for doing the unthinkable, because this JUST works beautifully. And, again, make a trip NOW to Disney’s BoardWalk to grab it while it’s available (we don’t know if this is a permanent menu item or not, but it should be!). WE KNOW – there are SO many great snacks at Disney World! How do you choose (we don’t want to choose, but will blow our budget on Day 1 otherwise)? We’ve got you covered! We have reviewed nearly EVERY snack available at Disney World, and we’ve written a series of DFB Guides about them! Staying at a Disney World hotel comes with some pretty good perks. First, you get access to Disney World’s vast transportation system that will take you to pretty much anywhere you want to go on property. Plus you also get Early Entry Theme Park Entry, while some hotels even get Extended Evening Hours. Blizzard Beach will be closing soon One of the newest perks, though, is getting a free Disney water park ticket for your arrival day at a water park of your choice. But soon, that choice won’t actually be a choice, because one of those water parks, Blizzard Beach, will be closing. For a limited time, Disney World hotel guests can use this free water park ticket on their arrival day at both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. However, guests will soon only have the option to visit Typhoon Lagoon. That’s because Blizzard Beach is set to close on September 8th, leaving only Typhoon Lagoon open to guests during the fall season. Blizzard Beach This summer was the first time both water parks have been open since 2020, though. The norm since then has only had one water park open at a time, while the other received refurbishment. Disney World has been alternating between the two parks being open for the past several years. So this summer, Disney World hotel guests had a choice on how to use their free water park ticket for the first time. But that changes in September. Blizzard Beach However, the good news is that this Disney World hotel perk will continue into 2026, so that free ticket will be available at whichever water park is open at the time for at least another year. Who knows? Maybe both will be open again at the same time next summer. Typhoon Lagoon We’ll keep an eye on water park hours and closures, so stay tuned to DFB for more. People just WILL NOT STOP breaking these rules in Magic Kingdom. Let’s go to Disney World Of course, there are a few rules you’ll need to follow if you’re heading to Disney World. With everything from dress codes to specifics on what you can have in your park bag, you’ll want to behave if you want to avoid the consequences. We go to Magic Kingdom multiple times a week, and there are two rules we see constantly broken in that park! Before you head to Magic Kingdom (Or any Disney World park!), it’s a good idea to check out the Property Rules, Policies, & Regulations page to see what to do, and especially, what not to do in the parks. Breaking these rules could result in a variety of punishments, from confiscation of prohibited items to (on the more extreme end) banishment from Disney World. Adventureland crowds But when it comes to the rules that are most commonly broken in Magic Kingdom, there are two on the list of no-nos that stand out to us the most. The first is that you’re not allowed to obstruct “sidewalks, entrances, driveways, patios, vestibules, stairways, corridors, halls, or landings.” Main Street, U.S.A. We see this one broken all. the. time. in Magic Kingdom! Guests love to stop in the middle of the walkway, stand in front of exits, and pause directly in the middle of staircases and ramps. It’s a particularly noticeable problem at Magic Kingdom because this park is the oldest, and it was not built quite as efficiently for crowd flow as some of the newer parks. The walkways get narrow in parts of Magic Kingdom (like the infamous bottleneck by Peter Pan’s Flight and “it’s a small world”), so people stopping or impeding the flow of traffic is even more obvious. Fantasyland crowds The other rule that gets broken frequently in Magic Kingdom is that visitors are prohibited from skipping lines! Many people don’t realize this is a legitimate rule of Disney’s and not just a courtesy thing. However, on the website, it’s expressly stated as follows: “Please show common courtesy to fellow Guests and our Cast Members by not using profanity or engaging in unsafe, illegal, disruptive, or offensive behavior, jumping lines, or saving places in lines for others. For your safety and the safety of others, please refrain from running except in designated areas.” Cinderella Castle So no, you’re not actually allowed to send one or two family members to go wait in line while the rest of your group grabs a snack or finishes up in the bathroom. Why? This makes the wait even longer for all the people behind you in line. If everyone did this, wait times would never be accurate, and the flow of traffic in the park would be a mess (Disney counts on the fact that people will be waiting in line for attractions — otherwise, the walkways would be overcrowded all the time). Big Thunder Mountain Railroad queue So the next time you’re in Magic Kingdom, make sure to follow these rules! If someone catches you breaking them and reports you to a Cast Member, you could face the consequences. While obstructing walkways will likely just result in you being asked to move, cutting the line could end up with your family being kicked out of the queue. Tomorrowland Crowds We’ll make sure to keep you in the loop with any other important rules for Disney World. To see the rules Disney Cast Members must follow, check out the video below. Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney content! 4 Rules Disney Had to Change in 2025 — Click Here! Which of these rules do you see people break most frequently in Disney World? Tell us in the comments! Disney’s Animal Kingdom is getting a MAJOR makeover with Pueblo Esperanza — a Tropical Americas-themed land. However, before the new land fully takes shape, the park will need to say goodbye to DinoLand U.S.A. Dinosaur The removal of DinoLand sadly also means the end of the DINOSAUR attraction, which will ultimately give way to a brand-new Indiana Jones ride similar in ride mechanics to DINOSAUR and Disneyland’s Indiana Jones Adventure, but with an original story. DINOSAUR is set to close permanently sometime in 2026, and when it does, its absence will create an unavoidable problem. Disney’s Animal Kingdom is already marred in a controversial debate of whether or not the park is worthy of a visit longer than a half day. While it functions as a zoo-theme park hybrid, if you’re more there for the rides aspect, you’ll notice the park lacks a bit when compared to the rest of the Disney World theme parks. Additionally, it doesn’t help that Animal Kingdom closes earlier than the other three parks in order to accommodate its resident animals. Tree of Life in Disney’s Animal Kingdom With one of its major E-ticket attractions down and out for the count, Animal Kingdom will have a tough time justifying a full-day trip. You’ll be looking at Kilimanjaro Safaris, Na’vi River Journey, Flight of Passage, Expedition Everest, and Kali River Rapids as the ONLY rides open at the park. The ride diversity just doesn’t compare well to the other theme parks in the area, and that’s going to be a tough sell, especially for folks who aren’t making the animals the primary focus of the day. Expedition Everest — WOO HOO! While DINOSAUR itself has some haters, it’s still largely loved and a big draw for a lot of Disney World guests. Losing a major attraction like that only highlights Animal Kingdom’s ride quantity issue. DINOSAUR Fortunately, help is on the way. Animal Kingdom will be adding an Encanto ride and the previously mentioned Indiana Jones ride, in addition to a new carousel. With two major attractions on the way, Animal Kingdom’s ride offerings will get a healthy boost, and one that will hopefully appease fans looking for more themed attractions in this theme park experience. The new Tropical Americas land coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom lets guests explore a preserved Maya temple – and the ensuing adventure – alongside Indiana Jones. Unfortunately, we’re still a couple of years away from that becoming a reality. So, once DINOSAUR closes in 2026 and the construction on the other rides continues/begins, we’ll still have to deal with the sad reality that Animal Kingdom’s ride selection will be left wanting. We’ll continue to keep you posted on all the latest Animal Kingdom and Disney World updates, so keep it posted right here at DFB to stay in the know! Disney World’s NEW Tropical Americas Restaurant Will Be One of Its BIGGEST Do you feel Animal Kingdom is a half-day park, or is the label unjustified? Share your thoughts in the comments below! Here’s your ticket to soar above the clouds in the pilot’s seat: A new immersive exhibit at the Cox Science Center and Aquarium lets you take control of the cockpit and learn the art of flying. “Flight Deck,” which was developed in-house by the center’s exhibits and design team, features two state-of-the-art airplane flight and two remote-control aircraft simulator stations with large wrap-around screens, taking up about 600 square feet in the West Palm Beach facility’s newly repurposed gallery space. With planes taking off and landing at busy Palm Beach International Airport nearby, the exhibit just makes sense for the area, according to the center’s staff. “We wanted to bring an exciting, hands-on aviation experience to our guests that would connect directly to our community,” said Esteban Parchuc, the center’s director of exhibits and design. “The strong aerospace industry in our region made aviation a natural fit. It’s a subject that’s thrilling, deeply connected to STEM and highly relevant to career opportunities right here in Palm Beach County.” Top priority for the designers was the immersive aspect. “We wanted visitors to truly feel like they were flying, which meant using 180-degree, wrap-around screens, realistic controls and a darkened, high-tech environment that focuses attention on the skies,” Parchuc said. “From mastering takeoffs and landings to the most popular stunt — flying under the Eiffel Tower — ‘Flight Deck’ captures the excitement of aviation while teaching essential STEM principles,” such as aerodynamics, the physics of lift and drag, navigation and the role of technology in aviation. Take the controls and test your flying skills through "Flight Deck," the new permanent exhibit at the Cox Science Center and Aquarium in West Palm Beach. (Cox Science Center and Aquarium/Courtesy) So how does it work? “It’s very user-friendly,” Parchuc said. “Visitors receive a brief orientation from our staff, then take control using realistic flight yokes, throttles and rudder pedals. The wrap-around screens display highly detailed, real-world landscapes, so guests feel like they’re truly flying over cities, coastlines and landmarks.” “Flight Deck” made its debut during Memorial Day weekend. “It’s been one of our most popular new experiences. Guests of all ages have been lining up to try it, and many return to ‘fly’ again on the same visit,” Parchuc said. “Kids, teens and adults each seem to enjoy different aspects — some love mastering takeoffs and landings, others go straight for aerobatic stunts, and some simply enjoy sightseeing from the air.” The permanent exhibit was funded by Cox Science Center board member Bill Meyer and his wife, Renay. “Mankind has always been fascinated with flight, but few people ever get the opportunity to fly an aircraft and experience what it is like to be a pilot,” he said in a statement. “The ‘Flight Deck’ gives everyone the chance to experience flight like never before.” The center’s rotating exhibit, “Mission Aerospace,” on display through Sept. 28, explores aviation history, aerospace milestones and NASA’s trail-blazing discoveries through hands-on activities such as plotting a course and reading a topo map. Both exhibits are included in the center’s general admission. Floor-to-ceiling aquariums, shown in this rendering, will showcase Florida's aquatic life when the Cox Science Center and Aquarium's expansion project opens. (Roto/Courtesy) What about the center expansion? Excuse the dust, but the Cox Science Center and Aquarium is forging ahead with its goal to double in size to more than 100,000 square feet. Construction began on the $140 million expansion project more than a year ago. Phase 1 of the build is being completed now, with Phase 2 scheduled to begin later this fall. A grand opening is planned for 2027. Once finished, visitors can enjoy: The expansion of the Kenneth C. Griffin Aquarium from 10,000 gallons to 130,000 gallons of floor-to-ceiling salt and freshwater tanks. See alligators, jellyfish and other Florida aquatic animals, and get up close with others at touch tanks. A 75,000-square-foot Science Pavilion visible from Interstate 95 to hold more exhibit space. The third level will feature the Observatory, housing one of the largest refractor telescopes in Florida. A 6,000-square-foot STEAM Studio with hands-on exhibits, program spaces and educational facilities. A Next Generation STEM Learning Center with immersive learning labs and classrooms. A Digital Arts Studio featuring a 34-foot-tall central screen and 160 linear feet of projections, and opportunities for training for future tech jobs. A rendering shows the entrance to the STEAM Studio being built as part of the $140 million expansion project at the Cox Science Center and Museum in West Palm Beach. (Roto/Courtesy) IF YOU GO WHAT: “Flight Deck” WHEN: Now boarding WHERE: Cox Science Center and Aquarium, 4801 Dreher Trail N., West Palm Beach COST: General admission is $26 adults, $24 for kids age 13-17 and seniors 60 and older, $22 for guests age 3-12, and free for children younger than 3 INFORMATION: coxsciencecenter.org View the full article

Did you know there’s a Tiana’s Palace just like the one in The Princess and the Frog movie?! Tiana’s Palace in Disneyland You’ll find the restaurant, inspired by Tiana’s DREAM restaurant in Disney’s The Princess and the Frog, in New Orleans Square at Disneyland! We recently went there to try some popular eats, and we had some thoughts that we had to share with you. We stopped by Tiana’s Palace to get a few things, four to be exact, and we’re going to break them down one by one. Starting with the House Gumbo, which was $17.49. This house gumbo was absolutely delicious! It’s honestly a treat to have this type of New Orleans-style food at Disneyland. They have rare flavors that don’t contain shellfish, which is hard to find. The gumbo was very meaty with the sausage and the chicken, and the chicken was super tender. House Gumbo! The gravy and the sausage both had a little bit of a kick to them. We feel like there is a difference between Disneyland spicy and Disney World spicy — and this was spicy! If you enjoy hot, this will be great for you. We also liked the scoop of rice that came with the dish. We think this could be shared if you aren’t starving, which makes it a decent price for the portion you get! We loved this! We also grabbed the Buttermilk Cornbread for $3.99. It’s a pretty sizable square of cornbread, almost like getting two regular-sized corn muffins in a muffin tin. The portion is solid, and we found the bread to be nice and moist and warm and filling — all the things we want in a cornbread! Buttermilk Cornbread! It was flavorful and not too sweet — just the right amount of sweetness. It falls apart easily, so eating this with a fork makes the most sense. It was a good contrast of flavors, dipping this in the gravy of the gumbo. Cornbread dipped in gravy! We also got the Side Muffaleta Salad for $8.49. The salad is available in an entree size and as a side; we just went for the side size. It has romaine lettuce, ham, salami, cheddar cheese, olives, and then some croutons made out of the cornbread. We really enjoyed this salad! Muffaleta Salad! Every bite had a piece of meat and cheese, offering a wide variety of flavors. It’s mixed in altogether very well; nothing is separated. We would come back and get this as an entree in the future! We really enjoyed this! For dessert, we got the Classic Beignets for $6.49. Not to be harsh, but we’re struggling to see why they’re even still serving these. They are clearly made to be fillable, they literally have a big hold when you bite into them. It’s like empty nothingness, with no layers — which is not a beignet. They are filled with a little bit of honey and have powdered sugar on top. Tiana would NOT approve. Classic Beignets! These aren’t worth it for us! Not worth the money, nor the wait for them. You can find the Mickey Beignets very close to this spot (at the Mint Julep Bar), so we don’t know why there’s a difference between the two. You can walk 20 steps and get better Mickey Beignets — DO THAT instead. Sorry…don’t get these Despite the lackluster beignets, we would 100% recommend a stop at Tiana’s Palace. If you’re lucky, you may catch the jazz band playing on the patio here. There is enough variety on this menu to please everyone. There are many things on the menu that we liked, and you really can’t go wrong with anything (except the beignets). WE KNOW – there are SO many great snacks at Disney World! How do you choose (we don’t want to choose but will blow our budget on Day 1 otherwise)? We’ve got you covered! We have reviewed nearly EVERY snack available at Disney World, and we’ve written a series of DFB Guides about them! We’ve finally made it to the spooky season in Disneyland again, and that means that it’s time for one of our favorite attractions to get a massive overlay! It’s here! Haunted Mansion is one of Disneyland’s most popular attractions at any time of year, but during Halloween and Christmas season, it turns into Haunted Mansion Holiday and grows even more popular. After a short closure to transform the ride, Haunted Mansion Holiday is officially open for guests to enjoy! Haunted Mansion Holiday opens today, August 22nd, and will be around through January 7th, 2026. This ride follows the story of Jack Skellington and The Nightmare Before Christmas instead of the traditional Haunted Mansion story, so it’s perfect for fans of the film! It’s also why the overlay sticks around for both holidays, as many fans feel that it’s both a Halloween and Christmas film. This way, Disney appeases everyone! It’s Halloween and it’s Christmas! One of the best parts of the overlay is the very real gingerbread house that appears in the ballroom scene. We LOVE it You’ll see other iconic characters as well, like Oogie Boogie, Sally, as well as some of your favorite Haunted Mansion characters as they’ve been revamped for the overlay. Expect long lines for this attraction and pack your patience, because the lines for this ride can get VERY long. Well, well, well Looking for more recent Disneyland Resort news? Disney‘s newest lounge is almost here! Over in Magic Kingdom, the brand-new Beak and Barrel lounge opens on August 29th, 2025. The new dining spot in the park will be a “first-of-its-kind experience” that “will extend the story of Pirates of the Caribbean.” Island Provisions Before the lounge officially opens to the public, we’re headed inside to check out the new food and drinks, and we’re bringing you with us! Let’s head inside! Inside the Beak and Barrel, which is located in Adventureland, you’ll find a story that continues the Pirates of the Caribbean legacy! A legendary pirate rumrunner called Captain Meridian “Merry” Goldwyn established this “lively pirate pub.” Rummy, her first mate, is the tavern’s quartermaster and keeps an eye on the lounge from a roost at the top. The Cursed Bar When it comes to the family-friendly menu, you can find “tasty options for pirates of all ages — as well as refreshing cocktails for Guests ages 21 and up.” While alcohol is nothing new to Magic Kingdom (you can grab adult beverages at Table Service locations in the park), this new lounge does feel a bit different. During our stop by, we checked out the new menu items, and we have some thoughts! Of course there are pirate ships! We got chance to try out some of the new food and drink, and we are giving you our thoughts! We started out with the Plunderer’s Punch for $46.00. This is made with The Kraken Black Spiced Rum, blackberry, lime, and vanilla. It is served in a souvenir pirate skull mug — the reason why it costs almost $50! Plunderer’s Punch We thought the souvenir cup was gorgeous and it actually holds a fair amount of drink. It doesn’t have a heavy rum flavor to it, and it is more of a hint of rum. It is very fruit forward with a tropical flavor to it. Plunderer’s Punch We also got to try the Cursed Treasure, which costs $7.75. This is a non-alcoholic drink option, and it is an indulgent blend of coconut milk and cookie crumbs topped with vanilla foam and pirate’s gold. Cursed Treasure This one tasted almost like a cream soda, but without the carbonated aspect. It is heavy on the creaminess, and you get a toasted flavor from the cookie crumbs. We enjoyed this drink, but it is definitely on the sweeter side. Cursed Treasure We also tried the Treasure Trove, which is another non-alcoholic option. It costs $13.75 and it is a mysterious ube, lemon, and coconut concoction served with a vanilla cake plank, chocolate cannonball, and golden caramel popcorn. Treasure Trove The drink was very ube forward and the main flavors we got from it was ube and lemon. Ube tastes like a mix of sweet potato, vanilla, and coconut, with a nutty flavor and a bit of earthiness. It had some sweetness to it and a bit of nuttiness from the ube. It was served with a vanilla cake pop that tasted like a standard cake pop that was covered in chocolate. There was also a chocolate cannonball that was very thick on the inside, like a cake. You also get a few pieces of caramel popcorn that tasted fresh and was sticky. Treasure Trove To eat, we got to try the Island Provisions, which costs $16.00. It features plantain chips, blue corn tortillas, and toasted flatbread served with mango chutney, garlic chimichurri, spiced guava, and zesty culantro cream dips. Island Provisions When they bring this dish out to you, the crew members do a fun chant! The zesty culantro cream dip reminded us of a ranch dressing, but with a bit more flavor. The chutney was tasty, with a sweet and fruity flavor at first followed by a tangy and more savory aftertaste. Island Provisions The spiced guava reminded us of a sweet barbecue sauce. The garlic chimichurri was heavy on the garlic and cilantro flavors. The plantain chips were decent and the blue corn chips are the same as you would get anywhere else. Island Provisions That is not all that you can get at The Beak and Barrel, though! Here is a look at everything else you can snack and sip on: Cook’s Corn Griddle Cakes with Chipotle-braised Chicken, $14.00 — Warm Corn Cakes stuffed with Melted Cheese, Lime Sour Cream, Chili Peppers, and Cotija Cook’s Corn Griddle Cakes with Roasted Corn and Poblano Peppers, $12.00 — Warm Corn Cakes stuffed with Melted Cheese, Lime Sour Cream, Chili Peppers, and Cotija Cook’s Corn Griddle Cakes with Roasted Corn and Poblano Peppers Kraken’s Catch, $18.00 — Octopus Tentacles marinated in Lemon and Lime Juice with Olives, Bell Peppers, Avocado, and Piquillo Pepper-Almond Foam Kraken’s Catch Siren’s Whisper, $20.00 — Pot & Column Still White Rum Blend, Bols Blue Curaçao Liqueur, Combier Crème de Pêche de Vigne Liqueur, Lime, and Cinnamon Siren’s Whisper Port of Call, $19.00 — London Dry Gin, Ruby Port, Lemon Juice, and Spiced Cranberry Port of Call Lit Fuse, $18.50 — Los Siete Misterios Doba-Yej Mezcal, Tempus Fugit Crème de Banane Liqueur, Coconut Water, Lime Juice, and Hella Cocktail Co. Smoked Chili Bitters Lit Fuse Barrels Ablaze, $19.00 — Jack Daniel’s Bonded Bourbon, Honey, Lemon, and Chile Cocktails Hibiscus Rum Punch Royale, $19.00 — Don Q Reserva 7 Puerto Rican Rum, Hibiscus, Demerara, and Lime topped with Prosecco Hibiscus Rum Punch Royale Salty Seas mARRRgarita, $20.00 — Lalo Blanco Tequila, Cointreau Liqueur, Ube, and Lime Salty Seas mARRRgarita In addition to these, you can also find several wines and beers. Disney has shared that there is a 45-minute time limit for your time inside the lounge, so be sure to not waste a single second. The lounge will also offer Advance Dining Reservations, which are available right now. The Beak and Barrel We’re busy working our way through this brand-new lounge, so be sure to stay tuned for our full review of each snack and sip! September feels like one of the best months to visit Disney World—lighter crowds, slightly cooler weather, and plenty of Halloween fun. Walt Disney World entrance But here’s the thing: September 2025 isn’t going to look quite like a “normal” fall trip. Between new openings, big closures, and seasonal parties, there are a few easy mistakes that could trip you up. If you’re planning a visit this September, here are the big things you’ll want to avoid so you don’t end up missing out. Skipping the New Pirates Lounge If you’ve been following Disney updates, you’ve probably heard the buzz about The Beak and Barrel, a brand-new Pirates of the Caribbean–themed lounge that opens August 29th, 2025. This is going to be the spot everyone wants to check out during a Magic Kingdom day, and September is the first full month it’ll be open. ©Disney Here’s where the mistake comes in: thinking you can just walk up and hang out as long as you want. Disney has already confirmed that visits will be limited to 45 minutes, and Advance Dining Reservations filled up quick. That means demand is going to be high, and space inside will be tight. ©Disney Even if you do get in, don’t expect to linger with your pirate punch all night. The time cap is strict, so plan ahead and decide what you want to try before you sit down. This is one of those rare cases where doing your homework and booking early really makes or breaks the experience. Overlooking Ride Closures It’s easy to think of September as a calm, in-between month when Disney doesn’t have too much under construction, but 2025 is the exact opposite. In fact, some of the park’s most popular attractions will be unavailable. The mistake here is assuming your favorites will be open like usual. Let’s start with Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. This coaster closed way back in January 2025 and won’t reopen until sometime in 2026. Not only is the ride itself off the table, but Disney is using this downtime to prep the surrounding land for the new Piston Peak Cars area, plus future connections to Villains Land. If you’re heading into Magic Kingdom expecting to ride the wildest ride in the wilderness, you’re going to be disappointed. Construction at Big Thunder Mountain Then there’s Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin in Tomorrowland. That ride closed in August 2025 for a major overhaul, and it won’t return until next year either. Imagineers are completely reworking it with new blasters, interactive targets, and even a brand-new character named Buddy. It sounds awesome, but it means no zapping Zurg for now. ©Disney If you’re traveling with kids, don’t forget that the Dumbo the Flying Elephant playground in Fantasyland is still closed too. Disney hasn’t given an exact reopening date, only “later this year.” That means the air-conditioned play break parents love is unavailable for September visits. Dumbo the Flying Elephant Over at EPCOT, Spaceship Earth is also under refurbishment starting August 25th, with no firm reopening date announced yet. That’s one of the most iconic rides in the park, so expect heavier waits at nearby attractions as crowds spread elsewhere. Inside Spaceship Earth And finally, let’s not forget that Tom Sawyer Island and the Liberty Square Riverboat closed permanently in July to make way for Piston Peak. This wasn’t just a temporary refurb—those classic attractions are gone for good. If your family has fond memories of exploring the island or riding the riverboat, you won’t be able to repeat them this fall. Tom Sawyer Island is now CLOSED Misjudging Party Nights Here’s another easy slip-up: not checking the calendar for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party before planning your Magic Kingdom days. The event runs on select nights from August through October, and in September, the party takes over the park almost every other night. 2024 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Map On party days, Magic Kingdom closes at 6PM for regular day guests. That means if you only bought a standard park ticket and didn’t realize it was a party night, you’ll lose hours of evening park time. Nothing stings worse than planning to see Happily Ever After fireworks, only to be ushered out before the show even starts. Boo-To-You Parade at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Now, if you actually buy a party ticket, you’ll get to enjoy trick-or-treating, rare characters, and the Boo-To-You Parade. But if you don’t, make sure to schedule your Magic Kingdom day for a non-party night so you can enjoy a full day and the regular nighttime entertainment. Forgetting About Construction Impacts Beyond just the ride closures, September is going to feel a little different thanks to all the construction happening around Magic Kingdom. Since the Rivers of America has been drained and work on Piston Peak is in full swing, certain areas of the park may look less magical than usual. Sightlines are changing, walls are up, and the railroad station in Frontierland is closed. Walls near the Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom It’s not necessarily a reason to skip your trip, but it’s something to manage expectations around. Don’t be surprised if pathways feel crowded in places they normally wouldn’t. And if you’re looking to capture classic photos, you may want to scout spots in advance to avoid construction zones sneaking into your shot. The Bottom Line The biggest mistake you can make in September is assuming this will be a “normal” off-season Disney trip. With brand-new openings like The Beak and Barrel, major refurbishments knocking out guest favorites, Halloween parties closing Magic Kingdom early, and construction walls reshaping entire lands, September 2025 is anything but typical. If you go in prepared, you’ll still have a magical trip. But if you show up expecting the same old Disney World, you’ll run into frustrations fast. Do your homework, check those dates, and plan around the changes. That way, the only surprise you’ll have in September is just how much fun you still manage to pack in. In the meantime, we’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more. Dining in Disney World has been our passion and love our entire lives. New eats in Disney Springs! When it comes to Disney World snacks, there’s something for almost everyone! Recently, we went to Disney Springs to try out a brand new, fun (and interactive) snack at eet by Maneet Chauhan, and we’re bringing you with us. eet by Maneet Chauhan is a quick service restaurant in Disney Springs by James Beard Award-winning chef and Food Network star Maneet Chauhan! eet by Maneet Chauhan This location serves up “traditional flavor with modern flair,” including bites like a bread service, a DIY Pani Puri, and a Tandoori Chicken Poutine. During our latest stop by the restaurant, we grabbed the Sweet Garam Masala Donuts for $11.95! The Sweet Garam Masala Donuts Let us just say, WOW! Our reporter, who tried these, isn’t even the biggest fan of donuts, but these were a total surprise. Instead of tasting like a classic doughnut, they were more like soft, doughy biscuit bites. They were fried just enough on the outside, dusted with cinnamon, and finished with a light drizzle of icing. The donut alone! To make it even better, there’s a giant syringe filled with housemade cardamom-spiced yogurt to add to your 8 pieces of fried dough. You can dip it or fill the donuts up to your heart’s content. A FULL syringe! The yogurt was chilled, creamy, and perfectly spiced. It balanced the sweetness of the sugar and donuts without being too heavy. This truly made for such a unique dessert, and we loved it! Inside the donut! During our visit, Cast Members even told us it’s their favorite dessert on the menu! Honestly, we get it. We also would say that the syringe is a fun take, but honestly, we would prefer to dip the donuts in the yogurt so it doesn’t slow us down while we enjoy the dessert. SO GOOD! This is just one of so many amazing bites you can find in Disney Springs! Be sure to keep following DFB for more Disney snacks and reviews. In case you missed it, Disney World closures have been announced, and I cannot stop thinking about them. Closed for Refurbishment When you hear “refurbishment,” you probably imagine a quick touch-up and some new paint. But right now, we’re looking at closures that are either massive in scope, packed with big changes, or involve fan-favorite attractions that already feel too risky to tinker with. These are not just minor updates, and if you’re like me, you’re probably wondering what Disney will actually do behind those construction walls. Let’s get into the closures that are keeping me up at night. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is closed until 2026, and yes, I’ve already been spiraling. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad This fan-favorite coaster officially shut down on January 6th, 2025, and Disney has said it will reopen with a few exciting changes (which you can read all about here) in 2026. On the surface, that doesn’t sound too wild, but when you look at the bigger picture, this closure is one of the most important refurbishments in years. ©Disney First of all, Big Thunder isn’t just a thrill ride. It’s the wildest ride in the wilderness, and it’s one of those attractions that just feels untouchable. Disney has made tweaks to this ride before—new effects, updated sound systems, a little sprucing up here and there—but this is a multi-year closure. Construction at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad What really keeps me up is the timing. Disney is also working on changes near the Rivers of America, including filling sections in and preparing space for the upcoming Cars-themed land. Imagineers are even planning to connect Big Thunder Mountain and the brand-new Villains Land with Liberty Square and Fantasyland. If all of that ends up overlapping with the Big Thunder project, then this entire section of Magic Kingdom is going to feel very different. Construction at Big Thunder Mountain The changes happening sound very exciting. For starters, riders will see “spectacular natural caverns full of phosphorescent pools, shimmering and illuminating iridescent stalagmites (the ones on the floor) and stalactites (the ones on the ceiling).” But everything is not as it seems. Disney warns us that “they ain’t as friendly as they first appear” and “that menacing rumble from deep within the mountain may be a sign we ain’t welcome.” We just hope these changes keep to the true essence of Big Thunder Mountain and that the ride remains family-friendly. ©Disney So while I’m hopeful, I’m also losing sleep wondering what Big Thunder will look like in 2026. Read more about the changes coming to Big Thunder Mountain here Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin Next up, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. This closure is much shorter, but the list of updates is long—and that’s where my anxiety kicks in. It’s closed! The ride closed on August 4th, 2025, and Disney expects it to reopen in 2026 with a huge set of changes. At first glance, these sound exciting. There’s a brand-new character called Buddy, a support-bot created by Imagineers and Pixar, who will welcome guests as they prep for their mission. The ride vehicles are getting a new look, inspired by Buzz Lightyear and Star Command, complete with video monitors that will show real-time scoring. New ride vehicle And finally—finally!—the blasters are being upgraded to handheld models with lasers that stay on so we can actually see where we’re aiming. ©Disney That all sounds amazing, right? But here’s the thing: whenever Imagineers overhaul a ride this much, there’s always a chance that fixing one problem creates another. ©Disney Space Ranger Spin has always had its quirks, but it’s also charming. The ride vehicles spin, the targets are finicky, and half the fun is figuring out how to maximize your score despite all that chaos. With new targets, upgraded blasters, and a completely different scoring system, the entire gameplay experience will feel different. ©Disney My fear is that they’ll solve the problem of “I don’t know where I’m aiming” but create a new one, like ride vehicles or effects that don’t work as consistently as they should. Even the new Buddy character, as adorable as he sounds, could disrupt the nostalgic vibe of a ride that’s been part of Magic Kingdom since the late ‘90s. I’m cautiously optimistic, but I won’t relax until I’ve seen this one in action. Spaceship Earth Finally, we need to talk about Spaceship Earth. Spaceship Earth This EPCOT icon is closing on August 25th, 2025, for what Disney is calling a “routine refurbishment.” Officially, the attraction is expected to reopen later this year, but if you’re like me, that phrase “routine refurbishment” doesn’t always feel very routine. With her support, we can do anything. Spaceship Earth is the crown jewel of EPCOT. It’s not just a ride—it’s the park’s central theme made tangible, tracing the story of human communication from cave paintings to computers. While it doesn’t sound like this refurbishment is set to completely reimagine the ride, I can’t help but worry that some of the sets or narration could be tweaked along the way. And even if that risk is small, it’s enough to give me pause. Inside Spaceship Earth We’ve seen Disney update narration and lighting effects before, and sometimes those changes land beautifully. Other times, they spark debates for years to come. When an attraction is this beloved, every small change feels monumental. So yes, I’ll be refreshing Disney’s announcements constantly until I know exactly what’s happening inside that geodesic sphere. Why These Closures Hit So Hard Refurbishments are a normal part of keeping Disney World fresh, and in most cases, they’re necessary. But these closures feel different because they involve attractions that are already deeply beloved. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, and Spaceship Earth aren’t just filler rides—they’re staples. Changing them, even in small ways, risks altering experiences that fans have built decades of memories around. Thank the Phoenicians At the same time, I know that when Disney gets it right, the results can be spectacular. New effects, smoother ride systems, and updated technology can make an old favorite feel brand new again. That’s the dream. But until these rides reopen and we see the results, I’ll be lying awake at night wondering which way it’s going to go. Stay tuned to DFB for more updates from Disney World. 5 Major Changes Coming to Disney World in September — Click Here! What about you? Which Disney World closures are keeping you up at night? You know that one restaurant you’ve always wanted to try, but hesitated because you just couldn’t quite gauge how good it is (or isn’t). For many of us, that might be somewhere around Disney World that feels a bit fancier. But we’re here to set the record straight about the prices, the menu, and everything you’re going to love about it in between! Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill We recently stopped by Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill at Disney Springs to scope out the menu offerings and give some menu items a try, and now we’re bringing you our FULL review. Is it worth a stop on your next trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth? Find out here! Atmosphere Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill has brought table service dining from renowned Chef Wolfgang Puck to the Disney Springs restaurant lineup! Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill Wolfgang Puck has a long history with Disney World, with the former Wolfgang Puck Cafe and Dining Room, which was located on the West Side of Disney Springs, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t changed a bit! Today, they operate as Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill, which introduced a new concept to “modernize the traditional bar and grill” while featuring many of Chef Puck’s signature dishes and handcrafted specialty cocktails. Table setting Not sure if you’ve got time to be seated or want to take Chef-quality food with you to go? Try out the express window just outside! The restaurant is located in the Town Center of Disney Springs. But enough about the restaurant — what’s on the menu here?! Menu You’ll start off the menu offerings with a selection of appetizers… ©Disney …then move on to your main plates. ©Disney Kids have their own choices of meals here, too! ©Disney Desserts and after-dinner drinks are available if you’ve got any leftover room after your main meal! ©Disney For drinks, you’ve got your choice of non-alcoholic beverages and mocktails… ©Disney …cocktails and housemade sangria… ©Disney …an extensive list of beers… ©Disney …and wine served by the glass. ©Disney There are even a few grab-and-go items if that’s more your speed! ©Disney And now, onto the main event — the food! Eats First up, we grabbed the Bruschetta for $16.This is made with Marinated Heirloom Tomatoes, Stracciatella Cheese, and Pesto. Brushetta First of all, after just one bite of this dish, how are we not shouting about this place from the rooftop?! The Bruschetta really set the stage for what was to come — it was incredible! The tomatoes in these pieces of bread are super fresh, to the point where you can easily see the condensation drops on them. The bread is lightly toasted, and the stracciatella cheese is creamy in all the right ways. A bite of the bread It tastes kind of like churned-up cheese curds, which are great. It’s still got that kind of squeakiness to the bite whenever you get a good chunk of it, but it’s also got like a thicker chunkier consistency, almost like a cottage cheese, but it’s so good. The basil pesto, though, is what really sent me over the edge with this one, and I was petrified it was gonna be something that I didn’t like or would overpower the entire bite, but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I truly loved it. Other side of the dish Oh, and the balsamic vinegar drizzled on top of it gave it a nice extra herby flavor, so you can taste all the individual flavors, but whenever you get them all together, it is like a symphony in your mouth. First up, we grabbed the Traditional Fettuccine Alfredo for $23. This is made with Roasted Chicken and Parmesan. Traditional Fettuccini Alfredo I know a good Fettuccine Alfredo when I get it, and this is one of the best I’ve ever tasted at Disney World. The only way you would convince me this was better is if it had a protein shrimp, chicken, you know, whatever it happens to be. So creamy It’s warm, light, creamy, lots of nice cheese, and even quite a bit of spinach, cooked throughout it, and it looks like it’s just kind of tossed in with the noodles and the sauce. The noodles are cooked just right, and the cuts of cheese are almost lightly toasted and have a faint garlicky taste to them. One of my favorites Its great taste made it way too easy to keep digging right into it, and before I realized it, the dish was almost completely gone. This could easily be a solid choice for someone who’s a picky eater or just a paster lover in general. First up, we grabbed the Giant Warm Chocolate Chip Cookie for $12. I know what you’re thinking, “that’s expensive for a cookie dessert,” because I said the same thing. Giant Warm Chocolate Chip Cookie This is ranking as one of the best-kept secrets for a fantastic dessert around Disney World, and I need to yank the sheet right off it immediately! This dessert wasn’t my initial first pick, however, after taking dessert options over with my server, he swore up and down I wouldn’t be disappointed in this choice — and he couldn’t have been more right! Gooey bites This thing is made of gooey, buttery chocolate chip cookie served warm to the touch and topped with a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream. It took everything in me not to gobble it all up in a few short bites, even after such a huge first few courses. Seriously, this dessert had me raking my spoon across the sides of the dish in hopes of just one more twinge of melted buttery goodness against a well-cooked, yet chewy, gooey deep chocolate chip cookie. The creamy vanilla gelato and creamy caramel sauce were just the “icing on top” for this dessert to help it go down a bit more, but man, was this one fantastic! Nosh or Not This Disney World restaurant is a must-visit if… You want to feel like you’ve just dined at a private chef event. The entire menu here is curated to Chef Wolfgang Puck’s delicious dishes, and you can tell the restaurant takes pride in serving his recipes. You’re looking for a versatile restaurant. This place was impressive for dining as a solo diner, but I could easily see how it would be equally impressive for a date night out, a family meal on vacation, or for a larger party gathering to celebrate together. Hearty portions are what you’re after. Looking for a great-tasting meal with portion sizes to match the price tag? This place is a solid bet! You should skip this Disney World spot if… You’re looking for somewhere more intimate to dine. The dining room here is large, and we could see it getting a bit louder and lively when it’s completely full at night. You’re not looking to dine somewhere out of your way. If Disney Springs isn’t on your radar to visit, it might not be best for your plans to leave and get food here just to trek back to where you left off. You’re looking to grab something quick and keep going. While this restaurant does have a sit-down option inside, the options for taking an order to go are less extensive, and you might find more variety elsewhere at other Disney Springs quick service restaurants. Overall Overall, this was a meal that made us question why we don’t make time to stop here more often. With so many fresh options on the menu AND a to-go window for a few express items, it’s easy to see why it’s a favorite of those who’ve visited the restaurant before and how they would want to keep it their own little secret.
