  1. We’re making our way around every single Food Booth at the 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival! Australia Next stop? It’s the Australia Marketplace, which is just one year younger than the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival itself, having made its debut in 1997. It’s returning this year with a couple of classic dishes that this booth is known for, while also delivering something new. And the question we’re here to ask is: does the Australia Booth still rank among the must-visit Marketplaces here at the Festival? Let’s find out… Menu The Australia Booth has made a name for itself with two Festival favorite dishes: the Grilled Bushberry-spiced Shrimp Skewer and the Roasted Lamb Chop. But they’re also changing things up a bit with the Mixed Berry Pavlova for dessert. OK, OK, we’re into it. 2025 Australia Menu Wine drinkers have three options to choose from: Bulletin Place Sauvignon Blanc, Fowles Farm to Table Shiraz, and Yalumba ‘The Y Series’ Viognier. Can’t decide? Try the Wine Flight! Grab a fork (and a wine glass!), and let’s dig in… Eats The returning Grilled Bushberry-spiced Shrimp Skewer is $7. Grilled Bushberry Spiced Shrimp Skewer The skewer is served with sweet-and-sour vegetables and coconut-chili sauce. And that chili sauce definitely lends some great heat to this dish! So much so that we wouldn’t recommend this for those who aren’t really prepared for a spicy kick, as the heat lingers even after the tasting. That said, you can also pick up on a hint of sweetness from the berry, so the variety of elements in each bite lends some great flavor variety to this dish, for those who enjoy shrimp. Grilled Bushberry Spiced Shrimp The Roasted Lamb Chop is another classic! It’s even been honored on our Best of the Fest list in the past. This dish comes in at $8.75 and is flavored with mint pesto and topped with crushed salt and vinegar potato chips. Let’s see if it held up again this year! Lamb Chop It’s back — and for good reason. No surprise, it’s still a heavy hitter. The lamb chop comes out thick, juicy, and topped with a brilliant crunch of salt and vinegar potato chips. The chips add texture and that tangy kick you didn’t know lamb needed. The mint pesto brings an herbaceous freshness, and the mint itself gives each bite a nice little “ping” of brightness. Our chop leaned slightly overcooked, landing on the chewier side, but that felt more like a one-off than the standard. Even with that, this is absolutely a must-order. Roasted Lamb Chop And for dessert? The Mixed Berry Pavlova is new…ish. You see, the Australia booth has served Pavlova before, including a deconstructed version of the delicate dish. This year’s presentation returns to a more traditional form with a crunchy meringue shell, macerated berries, and whipped cream. You can try it for $4.75. A Disney dessert under $5? Say no more! Mixed Berry Pavlova This was the true hidden gem of the booth for us. Pavlova doesn’t usually grab attention because it’s simple by design — but here, it shines. The crisp, airy meringue shell delivers a satisfying crunch before softening into a chewy, sugary dream as it mingles with the fresh berry juices. The whipped cream keeps it light, while the tartness of the berries balances the sweetness beautifully. It’s a refreshing surprise for anyone who doesn’t usually chase desserts, and easily one of the sleeper hits of the festival. We loved this dessert! Drinks Here, you can pick up a Wine Flight for $7.50. It features Bulletin Place Sauvignon Blanc, Fowles Farm to Table Shiraz, and Yalumba ‘The Y Series’ Viognier. You may also opt to try any pour individually for $6.50. Australia Wine Flight We find the Yalumba ‘The Y Series’ Viognier from South Australia to be quite dry on the whole. Yalumba ‘The Y Series’ Viognier That said, it also presents a pleasant floral taste with just a hint of sweetness. White wine fans may also wish to partake in the Bulletin Place Sauvignon Blanc. Bulletin Place Sauvignon Blanc It’s acidic and tart with strong apple notes (though even with the somewhat fruity profile, it’s still fairly dry). This one pairs particularly well with the spiced shrimp skewer! Finally, the bold Fowles Wine Farm to Table Shiraz is exceptionally dark and peppery. Fowles Wine Farm to Table Shiraz If you’re choosing just one glass, this one is most recommended to pair with the Lamb Chop. So, how does Australia stack up overall? OVERALL This booth crushes it again. Between the returning lamb chop and the unexpectedly delightful Pavlova, Australia is absolutely worth a stop this year. A little savory indulgence, a little sweet sophistication — this booth is batting two for two for us. Australia Booth We’re signing off from Australia for now, but remember, there’s a LOT more where this came from… Click here to see FULL reviews of EVERY. SINGLE. BOOTH. at the Food & Wine Festival! 2. We have some BIG news for the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival! A new menu item has been added to the Tangierine Cafe: Flavors of the Medina for this year’s Festival! Full booth The 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival has officially opened, and it has a LOT to offer. There are plenty of food booths with tasty items, merchandise items to grab (of course), and even concerts to watch. But don’t let it overwhelm you; we’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. And now we’re heading to the Tangierine Cafe: Flavor of the Medina booth to give you the FULL scoop! Is it worth a try? Let’s find out! Menu Call it a Food & Wine Festival miracle, but we finally have a NEW savory dish at Tangierine Cafe: Flavors of the Medina! NEW for 2025 is a Moroccan Wrap made with tomato-cucumber relish and garlic sauce served on warm Moroccan flatbread! Well, it’s not REALLY new, but we’ll get to that in a bit. Returning for this year are the booth’s standards: Moroccan Wrap, Moroccan-spiced lamb kebabs, Plant-based falafel, Stone-baked Moroccan Bread with assorted dips, and the Pistachio Cake with cinnamon pastry cream and candied walnuts for dessert. 2025 Menu Drinks this year are mostly returning from previous festivals, but two of the hard ciders are NEW: Fig Cocktail: Kleiner Feigling Fig Liqueur and white cranberry juice Keel Farms Blackberry-Pear Hard Cider Keel Farms Golden Apple Chai Hard Cider (New) Playalinda Brewing Co. Fig, Rhubarb, Orange, and Ginger Hard Cider (New) Hard Cider Flight Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself! Eats We ordered the NEW Moroccan Wrap for $6.25 with tomato-cucumber relish and garlic sauce served on warm Moroccan flatbread. But wait, because this isn’t REALLY new. It’s really just the meat from the kabobs we’ve had in years past…served in a wrap. Oh, TRICKY Disney. But you know what? We’ll let it slide because it’s good. Also, you get a choice of meat — we went with the lamb and falafel wrap. This is one of the EPCOT Food & Wine snacks that feels lighter and healthier than some of the heavier dishes at other spots. The cucumber relish added a nice herby touch, while the garlic sauce was creamy and flavorful. The falafel was also fluffy with a nice crispy exterior. Moroccan Wrap The other main dishes are all returning. Last year, we enjoyed both of the kebabs — chicken and lamb — but found the chicken to be the overall winner. This year, you can just get this in the wrap. Grilled Kebabs with carrot-chickpea salad and garlic aïoli — Moroccan-spiced Lamb The plant-based falafel was also on the menu in 2024 and in previous years. We gave it a positive review last year and called it a good plant-based option. Fried Falafel Pita with tomato-cucumber relish and tahini sauce A standard at Tangierine Cafe, the Stone-baked Moroccan Bread with assorted dips for $5.25, is also returning this year! This has been a favorite of ours for several years. Stone-baked Moroccan Bread with assorted dips And finally, you can round out your meal with the returning Pistachio Cake for $5 with cinnamon pastry cream and candied walnuts. This is also normally a winner at the Festival. It’s still fantastic this year. The cake is light, moist, and fluffy with a nice light pistachio flavor. The custard on top has a bit of spice to it and is creamy and silky. Pistachio Cake The candied walnuts and the little white chocolate piece on top are also nice touches. Drinks The drinks at Tangierine Cafe include some returning choices, and two new hard ciders that round out a cider flight. The Fig Cocktail for $12 is made with Kleiner Feigling Fig Liqueur and white cranberry juice, and it is a returning drink, but we had to get it again because it’s one that we really like. It’s a bit sweet, but it’s very refreshing and easy to drink. You can also get that hint of cranberry flavor, but the fig is the overall winner in the mouth. You also can’t taste the alcohol too much, so it’s fruity and light. Fig Cocktail A hard cider flight for $12.75 is on the menu again this year, with two of the ciders NEW to the Festival. The ciders for this year: Keel Farms Blackberry-Pear Hard Cider Keel Farms Golden Apple Chai Hard Cider (New) Playalinda Brewing Co. Fig, Rhubarb, Orange, and Ginger Hard Cider (New) OVERALL This is another one of those festival offerings that rarely disappoints. We generally like the kabobs, but we think we may like them even better now that they’ve become wraps. This is especially a good spot to hit if you want something a little lighter and healthier. Also, don’t skip out on the Fig Cocktail…it’s just the thing you need on a hot Florida day. Click here to see FULL reviews of EVERY. SINGLE. BOOTH. at the Food & Wine Festival! 3. It’s funnel cake time! Come with us as we check out this year’s special festival Funnel Cake at the Funnel Cake Stand! Funnel Cakes Stand The 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival has officially opened, and it has a LOT to offer. There are plenty of food booths with tasty items, merchandise items to grab (of course), and even concerts to watch. But don’t let it overwhelm you; we’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. Come with us to check out the Funnel Cake Stand! Menu This year’s special Food & Wine Festival Funnel Cake is the Huckleberry Funnel Cake — a funnel cake with huckleberry ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate sauce, blackberry brandy glaze, and powdered sugar. 2025 Funnel Cakes Menu OK, Disney! Consider us intrigued. Eats So, how is the Huckleberry Funnel Cake? This funnel cake has huckleberry ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate sauce, blackberry brandy glaze, and powdered sugar. This brand-new item is available for $12. This is really interesting…to say the least. We don’t know about you, but we don’t see huckleberry ice cream on the menu too often, so we like that Disney is thinking outside the box here. Huckleberry Funnel Cake To start, the ice cream was incredible! Despite the heat, it held up quite well and was a lot less messy than you’d expect when you’re standing in the middle of EPCOT in summer. The huckleberry flavor itself was less fruity and had a more floral, lavender-like taste. It’s definitely not what you’d anticipate. This was good! The chocolate sauce pairs so well with it and makes the treat a lot more complex than your typical sugary funnel cake treat. The blackberry glaze lined up more with what we expected the huckleberry ice cream to taste like, with that classic tart berry flavor. It’s a great shareable treat For the price, this is a great shareable item. This isn’t something you need to go out of your way for, but it is interesting and complex. OVERALL Listen, it’s just funnel cake, so it doesn’t stand out like other items at the festival, but BOY was it tasty! Huckleberry Funnel Cake We had a lot of fun at this stop on our Food and Wine Festival journey. Come give it a try — be unique and enjoy an elevated funnel cake dish! 4. Are you ready for a little HEAT at the 2025 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival? Flavors from Fire The 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival has officially opened, and it has a LOT to offer. There are plenty of food booths with tasty items, merchandise items to grab (of course), and even concerts to watch. But don’t let it overwhelm you; we’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. And now we’re heading to one spot in particular — the Flavors from Fire food booth — to give you the FULL scoop! Is it worth a try? Let’s find out! Menu Over at the Flavors from Fire food booth, you’ll find a variety of available items that all have one thing in common — they’ve been grilled or smoked to absolute perfection. And this year’s menu has a nice combo of new bites and returning classics like the Montreal-style Burger Slider, Rodizio-style Grilled Beef Skewer, and the Smoked Corned Beef. Menu All of the drinks here are returning, so nothing new, but there may be some things we need to taste again. You’ll find drinks like Deschutes Brewery Black Butte Porter, Four Virtues Bourbon Barrel Zinfandel, and the controversial Swine Brine. Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself! Eats First up, we grabbed the returning Montreal-style Burger Slider featuring IMPOSSIBLE Beef with plant-based cheddar, tomato jam, bibb lettuce, and plant-based garlic aïoli on a sesame seed bun for $6. Montreal Style Burger Slider Last year, we thought it was a GREAT burger, but be prepared for a “pickle kick” in the aftertaste! We weren’t expecting that hit of salty, tangy pickle flavor, but we weren’t mad about it! If you’ve ever had a Chick-fil-A pickle, you might find that the flavor here is pretty similar. How does it measure up this year? Montreal Style Burger Slider This is a surprisingly gourmet snack. It’s stacked with house-style toppings, including tomato jam, garlic aioli, plant-based cheddar, and bibb lettuce. Even though the menu doesn’t highlight it, the entire slider is 100% plant-based. Honestly, it feels like it could easily be a full-size burger. The flavor profile brings to mind a blend of two favorites: an elevated version of the plant-based burger at Hurricane Hanna’s in Stormalong Bay and the classic plant-based burger from City Works, when it came on a sesame-seeded bun. The seeded bun texture, bright tomato jam, and garlic aioli all work together to create a slider that tastes like something out of a table-service restaurant. It’s slightly larger than your typical slider, making it quite satisfying, and pairing it with the vinegar fries from The Fry Basket next door turns it into a perfect meal. Montreal Style Burger Slider Next up, we’re trying the new Rodizio-style Grilled Beef Skewer with marble potatoes, charred shallots, roasted baby peppers, and chimichurri for $7. Rodizio-style Grilled Beef Skewer The Rodizio-Style Grilled Beef Skewer is a standout for meat lovers. Reminiscent of the flavors at ‘Ohana, the beef is juicy, flame-grilled to a perfect medium-rare, and finished with vibrant chimichurri. Each skewer comes with two thick cuts of beef, marble potatoes, charred shallots, and roasted peppers. The combination delivers rich, smoky, and satisfying flavors, making this one of the festival’s must-try meat dishes. Delicious And last, but certainly not least among the food items is the Smoked Corned Beef with house-made potato chips, cheese curds, pickled onions, and beer-cheese fondue! It’s up for grabs for $6.50. But is it as great as we remember? Smoked Corned Beef This dish is a returning favorite that still impresses. The tender, flavorful corned beef is served atop house-made potato chips with a subtle hint of barbecue. Pickled onions and cheese curds add extra texture, while a drizzle of beer cheese fondue ties everything together. The result is an indulgent, loaded bite that’s rich and satisfying without feeling overwhelming. Smoked Corned Beef Drinks In terms of drinks on this menu, we got Swine Brine: Jim Beam Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, apple-cinnamon cider, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard for $12. And even though we try Swine Brine year after year…we still need to brace ourselves before that first sip. Is it weird? Yes. But last year, we thought this had a briny, pickle juice taste that worked shockingly well! In fact, we thought it was great. So, does it hold up this year, too? Swine Brine The Swine Brine is just as good this year as last. The Jim Beam bourbon is strong enough that you can smell it as soon as the drink hits the table, but the flavor is smoother than the aroma suggests. It has a tangy, pickled quality that might sound intense, but it balances surprisingly well with the apple-cinnamon cider and lemon. It’s a quirky drink, but one that works. Strong and Smooth If you’ve already decided that Swine Brine isn’t exactly your thing, you can try the new Deschutes Brewery Black Butte Porter, which is $5.75 for 6 ounces ($9.75 for 12 ounces), or the returning Four Virtues Bourbon Barrel Zinfandel, which is $6.50. OVERALL Flavors from Fire continues to be one of the festival’s standout booths. Every dish delivered for us this year, from the hearty meat options to the surprisingly gourmet plant-based slider. That makes it a strong contender for best of the fest for us. Be prepared for some heat and a lot of flavors when you head to grab a bite at this booth. Full Spread That’s it for this booth, but there’s a LOT more where that came from! Click here to see FULL reviews of EVERY. SINGLE. BOOTH. at the Food & Wine Festival! 6. Behind every unforgettable Disney experience, whether it’s a thrilling attraction, delicious dish, or heartwarming character encounter, are our talented cast members across land and sea who bring the magic to life every day. And supporting our cast totaling hundreds of thousands across the globe are our Disney Ambassadors – the friendly faces who illustrate Disney’s spirit and mission around the world. In the coming weeks, the newest members of this international team will be selected and announced as the 2026-2027 Disney Ambassadors. While we eagerly wait for this year’s news and all of the exciting adventures ahead, let’s dive into the enchanting history of the program and the way it continues to uphold Walt’s legacy today! What is the Disney Ambassador Program? The one-of-a-kind team supports and represents cast members at Disney parks, resorts, and experiences around the world, serving as the ultimate cheerleaders and storytellers. Disney Ambassadors lead and celebrate Disney cast, crew, Imagineers, and employees through major milestones of new openings and anniversaries, while also being there to recognize the magic made every day. They act as official spokespersons for their sites and are responsible for championing Disney’s commitment to their local communities around the world. Disney Ambassadors truly embody the dedication to displaying the Disney difference in everything they do, both inside the parks and beyond. How did the Disney Ambassador Program Begin? The first Disney Ambassador was appointed by none other than the man who started it all, Walt Disney himself. The role originated during the 10th Anniversary celebrations at Disneyland as Walt was looking for someone to represent the resort and attend “Tencennial” events on his behalf – we can guess he had a pretty jam-packed schedule at the time! Through the inaugural application process, Julie Reihm Casaletto, who was a Disneyland Resort tour guide from Long Beach, California, became the first-ever Disney Ambassador in 1965, setting the stage for a now decades-long legacy. How Long has the Disney Ambassador Program Been Around? The 70th Anniversary of Disneyland park is not the only milestone we are celebrating in 2025 – this year also marks the 60th anniversary of the Disney Ambassador Program. Since 1965, nearly 250 Disney cast members have had the honor of serving as Disney Ambassadors at destinations around the world, but it all began at The Happiest Place on Earth. Which Disney Locations Have Ambassadors? Each of our Disney Parks sites around the world have a team of Disney Ambassadors representing Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disney Resort, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Shanghai Disney Resort, as well as Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa. It is a worldwide family and global network meant to foster collaboration, celebrate cast members from different locations, and bring joy to fans everywhere in a way only Disney can. How Many Ambassadors are Selected Each Term? Every other year, a team of Disney Ambassadors are selected from an exceptional pool of candidates to serve a two-year term, which begins in January. At most parks, teams of two Ambassadors work in harmony, while Aulani has a dedicated solo Ambassador. These “goodwill emissaries” travel to different destinations and connect with others near and far to inspire communities, celebrate the hard work of our cast members, and sprinkle some pixie dust wherever they go. 7. When it comes to dining at the Disneyland Resort, there are so many options to choose from. If you’re looking for a little guidance on where to eat, you’ve come to the right place. Here’s what we got! We recently stopped by Wine Country Trattoria at Disney California Adventure to see what was cookin’, and now we’re giving you our full review! Atmosphere We love the look and feel of this dining location. There is a lot of seating, so you’re sure to find a place to eat and rest. The theming here is very relaxed, with some beautiful greenery and a nice view of Pixar Pier (depending on where you sit). Wine Country Trattoria A hand-carved limestone fountain welcomes you to this rustic retreat where elegantly prepared Italian specialties await. The terrace offers a lot of shade with all its umbrellas, making dining outside feel refreshing. But enough about the restaurant — what’s on the menu here?! Menu The restaurant offers 25 different wines by the glass, so you can be assured of finding the perfect vintage to complement your meal. They also offer a few different Italian-inspired appetizers and entrees — just be aware, it’s a little pricey. ©Disney The restaurant is also currently offering a World of Color prix fixe menu, but this menu is even more expensive than the original one. After comparing prices, we chose not to get anything off it this time. Prix Fixe Menu! And now, onto the main event — the food! Eats First up, we grabbed the Pull-Apart Cheese Bread for $11. This is made with Sun-dried Tomato Focaccia, Whipped Herb Ricotta, Mozzarella, Tomato Coulis, Chile Flakes, and Micro Herbs. Pull-Apart Cheese Bread! The outside of this is very nice and crispy, with a soft interior. We absolutely LOVED the focaccia here. The cheese is high quality and pulls apart as advertised. It’s not overtly cheesy, but it’s definitely there (probably because it’s made with care). It was cheesy! There were great flavors happening with this dish. The topping pesto has chili flakes and the smallest amount of a kick, but it’s packed with earthy tones that add nicely to the cheese and bread. It really gives a flavor explosion with each bite, and we were here for it! So many flavors! Side sauce is reminiscent of sun-dried tomato, giving a nice Italian aroma and flavor. It’s big, so you may want to share it with whoever you’re with! Our main dish was the Rib-Eye Steak for $39. It came with Mascarpone Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Balsamic Pearl Onions, Glazed Baby Carrots, and Porcini Mushroom Demi-glace. Rib-Eye Steak! We ordered it medium rare, and it was slightly overcooked — it was still tender though. We found the steak was seasoned well, but there may have been a bit too much pepper. It was a high-quality cut of meat that just missed the top-tier marks. It was seasoned well! The pearl onions are tasty; they almost tasted caramelized. Carrots are earthy and a natural pairing, providing a tasty lightness. The potatoes have a herb season and they’re fantastic. They were incredibly fluffy and packed with a surprising amount of flavor. This is the best side! It was good! Overall, the steak was good, but not great. The sauce does elevate the flavor profile to give it more of a smoky taste, and it was an awesome size, and with all the food you get. We think this is market value and fair pricing! For dessert, we grabbed the Peaches & Cream Crème Brûlée Tart for $12. It was Plant-based, with Whipped Chantilly Cream and Oat Streusel. Peaches & Cream Crème Brûlée Tart! The peaches tasted fresh, and the crème brûlée flavor adds a nice smokiness. The caramelized sugar and tartness give it a great crunch. The cream custard has a soft peach flavor, so don’t expect any noticeable vanilla. The peach whipped cream was too earthy; we would’ve liked it more if it were sweeter. A lot was going on with this The oat streusel is simply an oat bar, which we weren’t huge fans of. It just seemed a little unnecessary. The tart on its own is fantastic, but we probably didn’t need everything else it came with. Peaches! Nosh or Not This Disneyland restaurant is a must-visit if… You’re looking for richer and flavorful food! We like the selection here and found that the flavors were great. It’s a bit pricier, but that’s what comes with richer food. You want something you wouldn’t eat often at a Disney park! You won’t find your typical burgers and fries here. You want to eat somewhere chill and relaxed! This doesn’t have the fast-paced business that you’ll find at other spots. You should skip this Disneyland spot if… You’re on a budget! Like we mentioned, the food here is pricier. There are cheaper options at the park. You want something quick and easy! There are many quick-service options if you want to fill up your day to the max. We wouldn’t come here if you want to fit in many attractions within your park day. You’re pickier! If you’re a little pickier, there are places with more common theme park food. Overall It was easy to get a reservation here, and the food here is more elevated than most other Disney California Adventure restaurants, in our opinion. It’s pricey, but if it’s a nice day and you can swing it, it’s worth the visit. Here’s what we got! In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for more restaurant updates from Disney World and beyond. 8. Whos’ ready from some Zwiebelkuchen?! Sommerfest Okay, allow me to explain… For the first time this year, Sommerfest in EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion has joined in on the 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival fun! Sure, you probably already know to head to Sommerfest for Bratwurst, GIGANTIC Pretzels, and beer all year long. But just for the Festival, Sommerfest is serving up something a little extra special. Let’s check it out! Menu Sommerfest proudly presents the new-to-the-Festival Zwiebelkuchen, a German onion cake! Of course, you’ll find the usual offerings on the menu, as well. (We highly recommend following up your savory Zwiebelkuchen with Sommerfest’s scrumptious Pretzel Bread Pudding for a little something sweet.) 2025 menu Let’s give this limited-time treat a try! Food Even though Zwiebelkuchen translates into onion (zwiebel) cake (kuchen), upon presentation, it’s more reminiscent of a tart or pie. Zwiebelkuchen Caramelized onions, bacon, herbs, and a savory custard make up the additional components. This Festival dish costs $9.79. Zwiebelkuchen The Zwiebelkuchen is filled with loads of caramelized onions, small pieces of well-dispersed crispy bacon, some herbs, and a custard that is reminiscent of a quiche filling; this was a highlight and gave the dish some flavor. We enjoyed this! The portion size was large, and we almost felt onion overload by the end. If we order it again, we’re probably going to want to share. OVERALL So, is Zwiebelkuchen worth making a detour as you make your way around all of the Festival Marketplace Booths? If you’re a big fan of onions, you’ll love it. Beyond that, fans of quiche-style dishes would probably enjoy it as well, though they may want to share. Zwiebelkuchen You KNOW we’ll be back to Sommerfest soon. 9. Bonjour from France! This Festival Marketplace Food Booth is always a popular stop at the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival! Food and Wine Festival France Booth! The 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival has officially opened, and it has a LOT to offer. There are plenty of food booths with tasty items, merchandise items to grab (of course), and even concerts to watch. But don’t let it overwhelm you; we’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. And now we’re heading to one spot in particular — the France Food Booth — to give you the FULL scoop! Is it worth a try? Let’s find out! Menu AAAHHH, France! It’s home to two new food dishes this year: Brioche, Escargots, Boeuf Bourguignon, and Crème Brûlée. 2025 France Menu And some tasty drinks: the Instant Becot Bordeaux, and L’Oceade Atlantique Sauvignon Blanc. Fans of the Frozen French Cosmo (previously known as the Parisian Cosmo Slush) can be happy about its return. Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself! Eats First up, we grabbed the familiar returner from festivals past, Let’s dig into the Boeuf Bourguignon, Pommes de terre roties! It presents braised short ribs in a red wine sauce with potato puree. It’s $8.95. Last year, this dish was served with roasted potatoes, a change from the previous year’s presentation with “puffed potatoes.” Yes, they were totally tater tots! Boeuf Bourguignon This dish has been a staple at the France Booth for several festivals, and has even earned a spot on our Best of the Fest! So, how does it measure up this year? Well, it may sound unexciting, and it may look ugly — but it’s one of our faves once again. This red wine-braised short rib was falling apart on our fork, and it was pleasant. Don’t overlook this! The red wine braise was incredibly savory and perfectly complemented the meat. The potatoes were also soft and well-seasoned! The portion was small enough that even though it’s hot, it doesn’t feel like too much on a warm Florida day. At the same time, the portion is a decent filling. This dish is truly a hidden gem, because it’s not as flashy as everything else on the menu, but is well worth trying. We really like this one! And is it even a French booth entry if there isn’t at least one dish with bread and cheese? Well, buckle up, because this is it! Meet the Brioche aux Epices Avec Une Garniture Mornay de Trois Fromages, a spiced brioche with a three-cheese mornay filling for $8.50. Um…we’re going to say this loud and clear…the brioche is probably the BEST thing we’ve EVER had at the France booth at ANY festival! This is easily a best of the fest item, and could contend for THE best item. The France booth kills it when it comes to bread and cheese. Brioche aux Epices Avec Une Garniture Mornay de Trois Fromages The brioche was so soft and moist, and easy to pull apart. It had these spices that subtly added to the snack, but they weren’t overpowering. The spices paired perfectly with the three-cheese Mornay sauce! The cheese was warm and gooey, and the sauce was creamy. Disney used cheeses that had a sharp and savory bite to them; the texture was genuinely perfect! As if that wasn’t enough, there are cheese bits at the top that are crispy as if they’ve been torched. THIS WAS LEGENDARY! This was AMAZING! In Food & Wine Festival tradition, this booth is serving up a variation of Escargot (yep, snails — but buttery, garlicky snails!). This year’s iteration is Trio d’Escargots, Garniture a l’ail et au Persil. This is a trio of escargot bites in croissant dough served with a garlic-parsley dip for $8.95. Trio d’Escargots We were disappointed by this! The escargot was good, as well as the garlic sauce. The issue we had with this was the croissant dough, which was extremely chewy. It basically quadrupled the texture of the escargot, rather than balancing it out, and we weren’t fans of that. The sauce and escargot are good, but the pastry ruins it, unfortunately. If you don’t mind a chewy texture, this might still be worth a try — especially if you want to soak up some warm, garlicky flavors. This was a little disappointing And now time for something sweet. A classic French treat. Crème Brûlée Vanille, Confiture Myrtilles et Citron Vert. This is a creamy vanilla crème brûlée with blueberry-lime compote for $6.95. Crème Brûlée Vanille This one is tough because it was good, but it gets ruined FAST by the heat outside. This isn’t something you should be eating in the Florida sun, to be honest. The shell was the perfect thickness and fun to crack open, but the custard quickly gets rocky and loose. The flavors were still there, with a great vanilla and blueberry balance. However, the texture gets a little wonky because of the heat. We did like it, but it’s not our favorite for reasons that are not the dish’s fault. Blame it on the Florida climate, right? The heat hurts this! Drinks In terms of drinks on this menu, there are a few beverages to choose from. Let’s start with the Chilled French Cosmo. This refresher brings together vodka, Grey Goose Le Citron Vodka, Grand Marnier, and cranberry juice and costs $14.95. French Cosmo This is the same as always — a fruity drink that tastes like a Cosmopolitan, but with a little more balance. The cranberry is clearly the standout flavor, but it does balance with the other flavors very well. This is dangerous because it’s so drinkable and refreshing! Chilled French Cosmo The L’Oceade Atlantique Sauvignon Blanc is new and is $6.95 for the pour. If you prefer a red, you can also grab the Instant Becot Bordeaux for $7.95. We really enjoyed this wine! It was pretty fruity with a nice peppery bite to it on the back of the palate, as well as nice cherry flavors on the front. Instant Becot Bordeaux OVERALL The France booth may not be the best booth, but it’s absolutely a booth you must visit! The brioche alone will bring us back over, and over, and over again. We’re not kidding, France may have the best item you can get at the festival — at least one of the best! Check it out the next time you’re at EPCOT. France Booth Spread That’s it for this booth, but there’s a LOT more where that came from! Click here to see FULL reviews of EVERY. SINGLE. BOOTH. at the Food & Wine Festival! 10. If you are reading this post while hungry, BE WARNED. Seriously, we’re not joking! You’re willing to keep reading? OK, well then — we’ve got some DELICIOUS details to share with you! Germany Spread The 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival has officially opened, and it has a LOT to offer. There are plenty of food booths with tasty items, merchandise items to grab (of course), and even concerts to watch. But don’t let it overwhelm you, we’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. And now we’re heading to one spot in particular — the Germany food booth — to give you the FULL scoop! Is it worth a try? Let’s find out! Menu Over at the Germany food booth, you’ll find a variety of available items. This year, we’re seeing all returning Germany classics: Schinkennudeln, Bratwurst, and Apple Strudel. 2025 Germany Menu Selbach-Oster Riesling QbA presents a wine option but — as you might anticipate — beer makes up most of the Beverage menu with the new Schöfferhofer Berry-Lime Hefeweizen and von Trapp Brewing Dunkel Lager joining the Weihenstephaner Festbier this year. The beers may be tried on their own or in a Beer Flight. “Lass uns Essen!” (Let’s EAT!) Eats Schinkennudeln may just be the most popular item at the Germany Booth, and it’s one we’ve loved for years. This rich pasta gratin dish with ham, onions, and cheese costs $5.25. This dish, by the way, is an eligible item if you’re participating in the Emile’s Fromage Montage cheese crawl during the Festival! It’s like a really good baked mac and cheese with a crispy cheese layer on top. The ham adds a nice saltiness, and the noodles are soft. This one is always a favorite, and for a good reason. Schinkennudeln The Bratwurst, for $6.25, is served on a pretzel roll with mustard. We will warn you that this is a sturdier roll than a soft one, but the sausage has a great snap and isn’t too strong. The flavor reminds us of a soft breakfast sausage. The mustard is also not overpowering. This is basically more family-friendly version of a true German Bratwurst, but it’s tastier. Bratwurst on a Pretzel Roll The classic Apple Strudel is complete with vanilla sauce and costs $5. Okay, this would be a hit with kids. The apples are cooked really well with lots of cinnamon and some powdered sugar to add a touch of sweetness. The vanilla sauce is almost like a melted ice cream. Apple Strudel with vanilla sauce The pastry itself has a wonderful flavor and flakiness. Drinks The Beer Flight features the new-to-the-Festival Schöfferhofer Berry-Lime Hefeweizen and von Trapp Brewing Dunkel Lager joining the Weihenstephaner Festbier for $12.75. Germany Beer Flight The Schöfferhofer Berry-Lime Hefeweizen has a strong berry and lime flavor, and it totally reminds us of a Sonic limeade. The beer flavor isn’t strong, so non-beer drinkers might appreciate it. It’s easy to swallow and smooth. Schöfferhofer Berry-Lime Hefeweizen The Weihenstephaner Festbier tastes like a more classic beer with a lot of bite and bitterness. It’s sharp on the tongue and what traditional beer drinkers would like. Weihenstephaner Festbier The von Trapp Brewing Dunkel Lager is sort of between the two in flavor. It’s a lager, so it has a more aged taste. The flavor lingers for a while, although it rolls off the tongue while the bubbles settle on your lips and the back of your teeth. It’s also more of a traditional beer. von Trapp Brewing Dunkel Lager You can get each beer individually for $5.75 for 6 ounces or $9.75 for 12 ounces. Wine drinkers can opt for the Selbach-Oster Riesling QbA for $9. OVERALL If you love cheese or if you’re doing the Cheese Crawl, you should come to this booth for the Schinkennudeln alone. However, if you want something even more classically German, the Bratwurst could satisfy. This is also the perfect booth for beer drinkers who want to try a variety of German beers. 11. Pack your bags and grab your best yacht attire, because this year the Flavors of America booth is taking us on a mini food tour of New England. 2025 Flavors of America Booth The 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival has officially opened, and it has a LOT to offer. There are plenty of food booths with tasty items, merchandise items to grab (of course), and even concerts to watch. But don’t let it overwhelm you; we’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. And now we’re heading to one spot in particular — the Flavors of America — to give you the FULL scoop! Is it worth a try? Let’s find out! Menu Over at the Flavors of America, you’ll find a variety of available items. Last year, this food booth was a salute to all-American food, but mostly hot dogs. This year, the menu focuses on some New England classics. The featured items this year are: Gulf Coast-style Seafood Roll, a New England Slider, and the returning Freshly Baked Chocolate Pudding Cake. 2025 Flavors of America Menu The beverage options are a whole new flight of beers to try: Harpoon Brewery Flannel Friday Hoppy Amber Ale, Playalinda Brewing Co. Pumpkin Cheesecake Blonde Stout, and von Trapp Brewing Natür Helles Lager. Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself! Eats First up, we grabbed a Gulf Coast-style Seafood Roll with warm-water lobster, rock shrimp, lobster bisque, and sherry-crème fraîche on a toasted brioche bun for $8.75. Gulf Coast-style Seafood Roll This was INCREDIBLE! It was so perfectly meaty, with an amazing amount of lobster for the price. The shrimp is also incredible — the dish is perfectly meaty and not fishy. The lobster bisque was very herbescent, too. This is amazing! The sherry-crème fraîche on top makes it feel like you’re eating the best of lobster. The brioche bun was perfectly toasted, yet so soft at the same time. This is 100% one of the best items you can get at the Festival! We’ll get this again, and again…and again! Next, let’s dive into the New England Slider. This dish is Slow-braised beef pot roast with spicy giardiniera, horseradish cream, and crispy fried onions on a potato roll for $6. New England Slider If you aren’t a fan of horseradish, don’t worry, this was incredible and is NOT to be missed! The potato roll was nice and soft, and the outside had an incredible crust — it gave the texture great contrast. The braised beef was super flavorful; however, it got pretty dry once you got to the middle. This was good! The horseradish cream was not overly strong and didn’t give you that feeling that “lights up your nostrils.” If you’re looking for a punch with the horseradish on this thing, it’s not really there. This essentially feels like you’re eating a pot roast on a roll, making it a great comfort food! It’s a good comfort food option! And last up from the bites menu is the returning Freshly Baked Chocolate Pudding Cake with Kentucky bourbon caramel for $5. Last year, this was our favorite dish from the booth and made it to the coveted Best of the Fest list! It was slathered in a bourbon caramel sauce, and we mean SLATHERED. So, how does it hold up compared to last year? Freshly Baked Chocolate Pudding Cake! The cake is really dense and super chocolatey! The Kentucky bourbon caramel is great — it didn’t stick to our teeth, and it wasn’t too thick. It’s also rich in flavor. It’s not as ooey gooey as we anticipated it to be — it’s more flour-based. Try this one! And now on to the drinks! Drinks In terms of drinks on this menu, this booth is serving up three new beers, which you can get individually or as a flight. The prices are $5.75 for a smaller pour or $9.75 for a full pour. Or you can grab the flight of all three for $12.75. Beer Flight! The beer options include: Harpoon Brewery Flannel Friday Hoppy Amber Ale, which was dark and rich. Hoppy is the perfect word for it; there’s a lot of hops in it that sit in the back of the throat. A lot of the flavor of the beer sits in the back of the mouth rather than the front. Harpoon Brewery Flannel Friday Hoppy Amber Ale The Playalinda Brewing Co. Pumpkin Cheesecake Blonde Stout. We really liked this one! It’s sweet, and the pumpkin is very subtle, more like a spice. The cheesecake gave us a little bit of a vanilla flavor coming through. You don’t need to go out of your way for this one, but it was a cool taste. Pumpkin Cheesecake Blonde Stout Finally, the von Trapp Brewing Natür Helles Lager. It tasted pretty much like a normal lager to us. It was light and breezy, and easy to sip on. It wasn’t super stout, which we anticipated. Natür Helles Lager OVERALL This is a booth you 100% need to check out! It has an amazing dessert in the Freshly Baked Chocolate Pudding Cake, and it has one of our favorite foods at the festival in the Gulf Coast-style Seafood Roll. You won’t want to miss out on this! 12. If you are reading this post while hungry, BE WARNED. Seriously, we’re not joking! You’re willing to keep reading? OK, well then — we’ve got some DELICIOUS details to share with you! Forest & Field The 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival has officially opened, and it has a LOT to offer. There are plenty of food booths with tasty items, merchandise items to grab (of course), and even concerts to watch. But don’t let it overwhelm you, we’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. And now we’re heading to one spot in particular — the Forest & Field food booth– to give you the FULL scoop! Is it worth a try? Let’s find out! Menu You’ll find Forest & Field between the World Showcase and the Imagination! pavilion in a new little area Disney is calling Harvest Hollow. Autumn Chili, Pumpkin Mascarpone Ravioli, and Schiacciata Sandwich with seasonal fall fruit make up the food offerings here. 2025 Forest & Field Menu The beverage menu features LDaou Vineyards Chardonnay, Famille Hugel Classic Pinot Noir, and Brewery Ommegang All Hallows Treat Chocolate Peanut Butter Imperial Stout. Let’s see what Forest & Field has to offer when it comes to fall flavors! Eats First up, we grabbed the Autumn Chili. Last year it was made with bison, lamb, pork belly, root vegetables, jalapeño cornbread, smoked cheddar, and Crème Fraîche. This year, is a plant-based iteration, made with IMPOSSIBLE Beef with root vegetables, plant-based cheddar, and plant-based sour cream in a bread bowl for $6.50 Autumn Chili featuring IMPOSSIBLE Beef This was a filling and hearty dish (if not a little heavy on a hot summer day), but we loved it. How does this plant-based cousin of last year’s meat fest hold up? We found it to be very similar to Skyline Chili, if you’ve ever had that brand before. There were notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, and other warming spices, which you usually don’t get in a plant-based dish. The chili itself was on the dry side — it didn’t really soak into the bread bowl at all, which was a smidge disappointing (that’s all the fun of a bread bowl!). But overall, we still really loved it as a plant-based dish because it was elevated, sophisticated in flavors, and came with a whole lotta bread! Hearty! It’s truly PUMPKIN SEASON in these parts, and Forest & Field contributes to the fall festivities with Pumpkin Mascarpone Ravioli, which is made with brown butter vinaigrette, pecorino cheese, pomegranate seeds, and hazelnut praline. It costs $5.50. Pumpkin-Mascarpone Ravioli Grab this cheesy bite of autumn as part of Emile’s Fomage Montage. This little dish packed a BIG punch last year and was on our Best of the Fest list! How does it measure up this year? The ravioli were incredibly tender, and the butter topping brought some nice caramelization. The hazelnut praline was sweet to balance out the earthiness of the pumpkin. Everything was just very harmonious and delicious. This is definitely one of the strongest pasta dishes at the festival. A bite of ravioli And now for a little something NEW! Yup, we’re digging into the Schiacciata Sandwich. This new sandwich is made with Mortadella, prosciutto ham, sun-dried peppers, arugula, stracciatella cheese, fall squash mostarda, and pistachio pesto on warm focaccia, for only $6.25. Schiacciata Sandwich This sandwich was reminiscent of a Caprese, but with added heartiness from the Mortadella and prosciutto. It balanced savory and sweet excellently, and was a nice, lighter option on a hot Florida day. The foccacia seasonings helped enhance the overall flavor spread. Our only complaint is that the bread was a little dry. Probably a 4/5 stars here. Look at that sammie! What about the beverages? Drinks This returning beverage is especially intriguing as we come into Spooky Season… the Brewery Ommegang All Hallows Treat Chocolate Peanut Butter Imperial Stout. Brewery Ommegang is located in Cooperstown, New York, and you can try this unique Stout for $5.75 for 6 ounces or $9.75 for 12 ounces. Last year, we enjoyed this, though we didn’t taste too much of the peanut butter — it was almost an aftertaste. Brewery Ommegang All Hallows Treat Chocolate Peanut Butter Imperial Stout Daou Vineyards Chardonnay is also available for $6.50, and so is Famille Hugel Classic Pinot Noir for $6.50. Both are new to the Festival! The Pinot Noir wasn’t heavy, which was nice for the hot weather. However, it lacked richness of flavor. Famille Hugel Classic Pinot Noir The Chardonnay leaned dry but didn’t have a very deep profile either. Perfectly drinkable, but not memorable. Neither of these drinks was much to write home about. Daou Vineyards Chardonnay So how did this booth fare overall? OVERALL Ultimately, Forest & Field was a big hit! The drinks here are fine, but the food is where the menu really shines. The chili is an excellent dish for plant-based eaters, and even meat eaters may really enjoy it. The ravioli is a must-try for us, and even the sandwich was shockingly good. Forest & Field Spread So if you find yourself visiting the festival this year, you probably don’t want to skip out on this spot! That’s it for this booth, but there’s a LOT more where that came from! 13. SeaWorld Orlando used fashion to strike fear on Thursday, promoting its upcoming Howl-O-Scream event. Fierce was a keyword as characters from the Halloween fright fest strutted down the runway in their Howl-O-Scream finest. A blood-splattered fisherman, a shirtless vampire, a Victorian widow, a lost-soul nurse and others from the underworld — sometimes punctuated with a shriek or with a walking-dead style gait — were seen. Howie Bleeds, a character from Butcher's Block Tavern, emcees the SeaWorld Howl-O-Scream Fashion Show, on Thursday. (Ricardo Ramirez Buxeda/Orlando Sentinel) Their moves were narrated by Howie Bleeds, a character from Butcher’s Block Tavern, one of the themed Howl-O-Scream bars. (“This bar is nothing but delicious flesh-smelling fun,” he explained.) It was a place where a character — compared with a skunk ape or Bigfoot — from the swampy Woodrot Hollow scare zone can share space with a “working girl” from the Blood Light District scare zone. Making his in-person debut was Havoc, the event’s icon, a man with a skull for a head and piercing red eyes. “Havoc actually has always lived in the SeaWorld and Busch Gardens [Tampa Bay] Howl-O-Scream logo,” Kyle Smith, production manager of the event, said Thursday. “So if you’re familiar with our logo, that skull face, he has now come out of the logo and into your nightmares, and he is here to absolutely create havoc and chaos in all of his destruction.” Havoc during the SeaWorld Howl-O-Scream Fashion Show, on Thursday. (Ricardo Ramirez Buxeda/Orlando Sentinel) The fashion show was a one-time early morning event presented for members of the media, influencers, students and invited guests in the park’s Nautilus Theater. SeaWorld’s Howl-O-Scream is an intense occasion, dark and unnerving. It’s the fifth year for the event at the Orlando theme park. “Every year, we do try to get bigger and bigger and bigger,” Smith said. Howl-O-Scream will have five haunted houses, three of them completely new to the event. There are also six scare zones, two live shows and themed bar experiences. The scare opportunities have been ramped up by design within the houses, Smith said. “In, specifically, a brand-new house called the Collector’s Curse, every single scare-actor spot inside this house is not just built for one type of scare. Every scare-actor’s spot is built to be able to scare the guests two to three different ways,” he said. “Every single time you go through the house, you could get a different scare in a different spot, which is super cool,” Smith said. The Black Widow from the Widow's Nest Haunted House walks the runway during the SeaWorld Howl-O-Scream Fashion Show, on Thursday. (Ricardo Ramirez Buxeda/Orlando Sentinel) A new Howl-O-Scream show is titled “Throttle,” and members of its cast performed in the lead-up to Thursday’s fashion show. “‘Throttle’ is going to be a type of show that the guest is not going to anticipate,” Smith said. “It is completely immersive, where the performers take over the entire space. They’re going through the audience. They hop right on the bar tops, right in front of you.” Also in the “Throttle” mix: live stunts and motorcycles, Smith said. Howl-O-Scream begins its 28-evening run on Sept. 5. It’s an after-hours, extra-ticket event. SeaWorld sells multi-night and one-night admission to the event. The park continues its lighter, daytime Halloween programming called Spooktacular, which is included with regular SeaWorld admission and begins Saturday, running through Nov. 2. 14. The day has finally come to join the annual celebration of global cuisine in Disney World — EPCOT Food & Wine Festival! The fan-favorite EPCOT festival has begun and will be here for a while, going from August 28th through November 22nd. Find out what day one was like below! This year, the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival is featuring over 35 Global Marketplace Food Booths and locations. These spots will be serving specialty Festival items, and they all looked delicious! We’re the Disney Food Blog, of course, we were going to be there on day one. We got to try a whole bunch of new eats and treats. 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival We were prepared for full bellies and satisfied taste buds, but maybe we should have been more prepared for the crowds that would be coming. We knew it would be busy, and entered the park to a pretty big crowd of people. Yep, it’s crowded We made our way to Creations Shop, which wasn’t as busy as we expected. But we still bet a lot of this merchandise is going to sell out quickly today. Be prepared for a bustling atmosphere in the gift shop! 2025 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival merch inside Creations Shop We also saw some pretty long lines at some of the food booths. Here’s what things looked like at the always-popular Mexico booth. Line at Mexico booth The Forest & Field line was pretty long, too. Forest & Field line Is this the most crowded we’ve ever seen EPCOT? Surprisingly, no! In fact, we were expecting larger crowds around the park. Who knows — maybe the park will fill up later in the day as people hit the park after work. We’ll have to wait and see! As a rule, EPCOT tends to be more crowded on evenings and weekends, so if you want a more relaxing experience, try to avoid a Saturday night in the World Showcase. 15. We’re at EPCOT, my friends, taking in all the flavors, sights, and sounds of the 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival! Bramblewood Bites The major highlight of EPCOT’s biggest foodie Festival — along with family-friendly activities and the nightly Eat to the Beat Concert Series — is all of the Festival Marketplaces located all around the park. One of them is the Bramblewood Bites Food Booth, which has made its way back for its second year. So, naturally, as we bring you our reviews of every single Food Booth at the 2025 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, we’re checking out Bramblewood Bites to see if it’s earned its returning Festival spot! Menu You’ll find Bramblewood Bites along the pathway towards World Showcase coming from World Celebration. Once again, autumnal flavors are featured here, with the returning Grilled Cider-brined Pork Tenderloin and Cast Iron-roasted Brussels Sprouts and Root Vegetables. These dishes are joined by the new Cast Iron-seared River Trout this year. 2025 Bramblewood Bites Menu Bramblewood Bites is also serving up the Spiced Apple Old Fashioned-inspired Cocktail with Boyd & Blair Rum. GoGi Pinot Noir and the new 81Bay Brewing Co. Nitro Bananas Foster Cream Ale are also up for grabs. Even if the Central Florida temperatures remain in the 90s, we’re still excited to dig into these fall flavors… Eats We’re starting things off with the Grilled Cider-brined Pork Tenderloin (a returning Best of the Fest item!) for $7. This dish is plated with chili-apple butter, celeriac-apple slaw, and apple cider gastrique. Grilled Cider-brined Pork Tenderloin This was a hit for us. The pork tenderloin paired so well with the apple slaw, making it very flavorful. The pork tenderloin is so juicy, and the char from the grill gives it a nice textural thing that just works beautifully — a hint of crunch, if you will. Grilled Cider-brined Pork Tenderloin New this year is the Cast Iron-seared River Trout! It comes in at $7.25 and is accompanied by vanilla-butternut squash purée, brussels sprouts salad, candied pecans, spiced pumpkin seeds, dried cranberries, and maple dressing. Cast Iron-seared River Trout The trout did not have an overly fishy flavor that sometimes can overpower a dish like this. It worked well with the vanilla-butternut squash puree, which might have been one of our favorite things about this dish. The brussels sprouts salad, along with the candied pecans and cranberries, contributed to the dish’s light sweetness, making it a more complex item. Cast Iron-seared River Trout No one’s putting their cast irons away just yet, though… The Cast Iron-roasted Brussels Sprouts and Root Vegetables are back for $5. This plant-based dish is garnished with dried cranberries and spiced pumpkin seeds, and dressed with a pumpkin seed vinaigrette. Cast Iron-roasted Brussel Sprouts and Root Vegetables This item was a returning one from last year. This dish is absolutely a winner in our book. The maple bourbon glaze adds a lovely and flavorful sweetness, but you also pick up on a hint of vinegar with each bite. (Although there’s no vinegar listed in the ingredients, we suspect it may be in the glaze.) The Brussels Sprouts are beautifully roasted on an open grill, resulting in a nice char that adds a bit of crunch. Now let’s see what you can pair with your fall dishes here… Drinks Even the beverage menu presents fall flavors, thanks to the Spiced Apple Old Fashioned-inspired Cocktail with Boyd & Blair Rum. You can give it a try for $12.50. Spiced Apple Old Fashioned inspired cocktail with Boyd & Blair Rum In this twist on the classic, the Boyd & Blair Rum takes the place of bourbon or whiskey. This certainly results in a sweeter sip, and the flavor of the rum is less pronounced, with an emphasis on the drink’s sweet apple. New to Bramblewood Bites this year is the 81Bay Brewing Co. Nitro Bananas Foster Cream Ale. A 6-ounce pour is $5.75, and a 12-ounce pour is $9.75. Finally, wine drinkers can opt for the GoGi Pinot Noir for $16. OVERALL This booth is a hit for us. It carries some great dishes that are packed with flavor, and it gives us more of a meal option at the festival than most other booths. The fall flavors are strong here, which we love and can see being a hit as the weather begins to cool off at EPCOT as the festival goes on. 2025 Bramblewood Bites Booth We’re signing off from Bramblewood Bites for now, but remember, there’s a LOT more where this came from… Click here to see FULL reviews of EVERY. 16. Look, let’s be honest… the Refreshment Outpost might not be one of those “stop in your tracks” spots you stroll past on a normal EPCOT day, but during the 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, you may just want to take that little detour to check out the eats and drinks this spot offers just for the event! Refreshment Outpost As it does every year, the Refreshment Outpost is shining the spotlight on a few dishes beyond its usual soft-serve and frozen slushies. And the offerings this year focus on unique African flavors that you won’t find elsewhere at the Festival! So, as we make our way around World Showcase to visit all of the Festival Marketplaces to bring you our reviews of every Food Booth at the 2025 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, we’re also stopping by the Refreshment Outpost to see how this year’s Festival items stack up! Menu In case you’re unfamiliar, the Refreshment Outpost is tucked between the China and Germany Pavilions as you wind your way around World Showcase. The Berbere-spiced Beef Stew is all-new this year, and it’s joined on the menu by two returning dishes: the IMPOSSIBLE Spicy Sausage and the South African Cream Liqueur Chocolate Mousse. 2025 Refreshment Outpost Booth Menu The Outpost’s Festival drinks include the new Bold Rock Apple Crumble Hard Cider, which is available alongside the Gulf Stream Brewing Cloud 9 Watermelon Hibiscus Lager and the Habesha Breweries Cold Gold Pilsner. Okay, Refreshment Outpost… let’s see what you got! Eats New this year is the Berbere-spiced Beef Stew, which is available for $6.75. It’s plated with sweet potato mealie pap and kachumbari slaw. Berbere-spiced Beef Stew Overall, we found this dish quite tasty, with prominent flavors of tomato and warming spices like cinnamon. It is filled with a bunch of different veggies (carrots, onions, tomatoes) and chickpeas. The meat itself was tender and easy to chew, and you don’t feel like you are getting a mouth workout. Berbere-spiced Beef Stew It was overall a solid portion of food for the price, and the herbs brought a welcome freshness to the stew. It wasn’t our favorite favorite festival dish — especially in the Orlando heat — but it was comforting and filling, like a cool fall day. The IMPOSSIBLE Spicy Sausage presents plant-based eaters with an additional Festival option for $6.50. The vegan sausage is paired with peri peri peppers and onions and plant-based peri peri aïoli together on a sub roll. IMPOSSIBLE Spicy Sausage You could have fooled us on the whole plant-based thing; this sausage boasts the bold flavor of chorizo without the spicy kick, while the smoky flavor from the piri piri aioli presents a unique flavor element that also works well with the peppers. This dish is also a pretty good portion for the price, to boot. The South African Cream Liqueur Chocolate Mousse returns after its smash debut last year for $6.25! This year’s version is a mousse covered with white chocolate ganache and garnished with chocolate-covered popping candy. South African Cream Liqueur Chocolate Mousse There was a lot of chocolate going on in this dish. First off, the chocolate popping candy surprised us with how much they popped, and the length of time the popping continued. Then the mousse itself is on top of the dish, and word of warning: ours melted before we got to taste it, giving it a melted ice cream consistency. The bottom is like a soft chocolate cookie, and then it is topped with a moist chocolate cake. This dish is a dream for chocolate lovers craving a lighter dessert. It was a good size but didn’t feel super heavy with the soft cookie and mousse on top. South African Cream Liqueur Chocolate Mousse If you love the iconic Zebra Domes served at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, you will probably love this, too. Drinks New to the Festival this year is the Bold Rock Apple Crumble Hard Cider ($12) from Virginia. Bold Rock Apple Crumble Hard Cider This cider was smooth and had an initial, nice, crisp apple taste that combined with a slight bit of bitterness in the aftertaste. It is a bit on the sweeter side, which lends itself nicely to the “apple crumble” aspect. This isn’t super hoppy or wheaty, so it could be a good option for someone who wants a lighter sip with crisp flavors. The Gulf Stream Brewing Cloud 9 Watermelon Hibiscus Lager is back for $12. Gulf Stream Brewing Co. Cloud 9 Watermelon Hibiscus Lager This refreshing and light lager has a flavor emphasis on the hibiscus over the watermelon. It’s almost reminiscent of a floral hard cider, though you can still pick up on the classic beer vibes. Finally, the Habesha Breweries Cold Gold Pilsner is up for grabs for $12. OVERALL Overall, the Refreshment Outpost’s 2025 additions further solidified the booth as a reliable yet somewhat unexciting addition to the Food & Wine Festival’s lineup. 2025 Refreshment Outpost Spread Now we’re off to keep winding our way around World Showcase! 17. The Mexico kiosk is one of the most popular booths each year at the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival (it was our Best of the Fest booth in 2024!) Come with us as we check it out for 2025 and see if its reign continues! The 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival has officially opened, and it has a LOT to offer. There are plenty of food booths with tasty items, merchandise items to grab (of course), and even concerts to watch. But don’t let it overwhelm you — we’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. It’s time to travel to Mexico! Let’s go! Menu This year, the Flauta de Barbacoa — Fried tortillas filled with barbacoa beef topped with salsa verde, romaine lettuce, crema Mexicana, and queso fresco — returns to the Mexico booth. Two new food items debut for 2025: Tostada de Carnitas made with braised Pork atop a fried corn tortilla with chipotle black beans, salsa ranchera, crema Mexicana, and queso fresco, and Flan de Cajeta — a creamy Mexican custard with caramel sauce and toasted almonds. Mexico Menu Drinks for 2025 include a new Clarita Margarita made with Cristalino Tequila, orange liqueur, and clarified lemon juice, as well as a new Strawberry-Pomegranate Margarita featuring 100% Agave Blanco Tequila, Joven Mezcal, pomegranate liqueur, strawberry purée, and spicy agave. Mexican craft beer returns this year. Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself! Eats The new Tostada de Carnitas made with braised Pork atop a fried corn tortilla with chipotle black beans, salsa ranchera, crema Mexicana, and queso fresco is priced at $8. The corn tortilla was nice and crispy with some lovely toppings like those refried black beans. The pork was tender and flavorful and had even a hint of sweetness, almost like it had a mole sauce. So the Mexico booth is still batting a 10/10 for us. Tostada de Carnitas The Flauta de Barbacoa is returning this year for $8.75. It’s made with fried tortillas filled with barbacoa beef topped with salsa verde, romaine lettuce, crema Mexicana, and queso fresco. This is another winner for us, as always. It has a great flavor and a good amount of crunch. The meat inside is juicy and tender with a nicely cooked tortilla on the outside. And then there’s that beautiful cheese! Flauta de Barbacoa Also new for 2025 is the Flan de Cajeta — a creamy Mexican custard with caramel sauce and toasted almonds. We honestly expected something like a store-bought gritty flan, but y’all, this was a warm and creamy delight that was perfectly sweet, but not TOO sweet. It was so smooth and it tasted homemade that we almost wept because it tasted like the homemade flan we make. Flan de Cajeta Yep, Mexico still has it. Drinks The first new drink for 2025 is the Clarita Margarita, priced at $13.75, made with Cristalino Tequila, orange liqueur, and clarified lemon juice. First, we’re just going to tell you that if you’re this close to the Mexico pavilion, we would probably just go to La Cava del Tequila first for margaritas. However, with that being said, the freeze-dried fruit on top of this drink was sort of like fruit leather. Also, the fruit mixes with the drink, and it becomes this pretty violet concoction. Clarita Margarita Next up is the Strawberry-Pomegranate Margarita featuring 100% Agave Blanco Tequila, Joven Mezcal, pomegranate liqueur, strawberry purée, and spicy agave for $13.25. The strawberry pomegranate syrup kinda sits on the bottom. This is also a heavier drink, but it’s GORGEOUS to look at and to sip. We really liked the strawberry with the spicy agave rim. Strawberry Pomegranate Margarita Mexican Craft Beer is also on the menu this year for $6 to $11. Mexican Craft Beer (2021) OVERALL When it comes to the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, the Mexico booth has been the most consistently good throughout the years, and this year is no different. The food was fantastic, the drinks were fun (even if we’d rather get a margarita at La Cava), and the vibes just hit in a multitude of ways. Click here to see FULL reviews of EVERY. SINGLE. 18. At Disney World, there are days you want to save your money where you can! Adventureland Magic Kingdom offers a lot of restaurants and snack options to keep you fueled for your magical day. As someone who is a DFB reporter and spent a lot of time in Magic Kingdom, one of my favorite ways to eat lunch here is by snacking! I’m sharing my cheapest lunch option found in Adventureland. I’m heading to the Spring Roll Snack Cart right outside of Adventureland. For $9.50, you get two rolls and can get two of the same flavor or one of each! Right now, you can find the Cheeseburger Spring Rolls and the Pepperoni and Cheese. We had to grab one of each. Adventureland Spring Roll cart The Pepperoni and Cheese roll is filled with pepperoni, mozzarella, and Italian herbs & served with marinara. In the Cheeseburger roll, you’ll find minced ground beef and melted cheese, just like a cheeseburger. They’re served up piping hot, and once you bite into one, you’ll be gifted a gooey, cheesy, and beefy reward. They taste just like a cheeseburger, but inside a fried shell. YUM. You get 2 Now, we need something sweet to finish off our lunch. I’m heading to none other than Aloha Isle, the home of the iconic Dole Whip. While there are a few desserts to choose from, from Dole Whip floats to soft-serve cups, I’m coming here for one of the cheapest options. Aloha Isle You can get a cup of soft-serve for $5.99 here. Flavors available are pineapple, coconut, vanilla, or a pineapple-vanilla swirl. We got the swirl! This cup is everything good about Dole Whip — the classic pineapple flavor mixed with creamy vanilla to temper the acidity of the fruity side of things. As you can see, they really pack the soft-serve in the cups here, and we feel like $5.99 is a pretty good value. Read a Full Review of Everything at Aloha Isle Pineapple Dole Whip This meal was filling and only cost $15.49! We love the balance of savory and sweet for this meal. 19. I scream, you scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM — and more — at Swirled Showcase! Strawberry Beer Float The 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival has officially opened, and it has a LOT to offer. There are plenty of food booths with tasty items, merchandise items to grab (of course), and even concerts to watch. But don’t let it overwhelm you; we’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. Come along with us as we check out what’s on the menu this year for Swirled Showcase! Menu A new item debuts this year at Swirled Showcase — a Liquid Nitrogen Frozen Pumpkin Cheesecake Mousse featuring Philadelphia Cream Cheese with candied pecans and maple-caramel sauce! And if you’re in the mood for soft serve ice cream, this is the spot! You’ll find Vanilla, Apple-cinnamon, and Salted Caramel on the menu. A variety of ice cream floats are also returning, including Coca-Cola, Barq’s Creme Soda, and Fanta Grape with a choice of soft-serve. 2025 Swirled Showcase Menu The Frozen Apple Pie — Apple pie filling, apple-cinnamon soft-serve, and apple-cinnamon cider topped with streusel — is also returning for this year! New for 2025 are two drinks: Früli Strawberry Belgian White Beer and a Strawberry Beer Float made with Früli Strawberry Belgian White Beer and vanilla soft-serve. Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself! Eats New for this year is the Liquid Nitrogen Frozen Pumpkin Cheesecake Mousse, featuring Philadelphia Cream Cheese, candied pecans, and maple-caramel sauce, for $5.50. Yep, this is like Disney going EXTRA with a fun fall snack. First of all, it was so much fun to watch them prepare this treat. Preparation But what was even better? We got to eat it! First, this is for you pumpkin lovers, and it’s a great sweet treat to enjoy, even if it is too hot to feel like fall in Disney World. The most prominent flavors are pumpkin and cheesecake, and they pair well together. Then you’ve got the caramel on top for an extra bit of sweetness, plus some crunchy pecans for texture. It’s so well-balanced, but it’s also indulgent and definitely a step up from what you might normally find in a classic theme park ice cream treat. Liquid Nitrogen Frozen Pumpkin Cheesecake Mousse Swirled Showcase is serving up three flavors of soft serve ice cream this year — Vanilla, Apple Cinnamon, and Salted Caramel. Each waffle cone costs $6.50 — you can get the ice cream in a cup, but the price will stay the same. Vanilla Soft-serve in a Waffle Cone Last year, we grabbed the Apple Cinnamon soft serve and found it almost like vanilla bean ice cream with a hint of caramel. The Salted Caramel soft serve had a strong aftertaste. It was sugary, thick, and quite rich. We’ve also checked out the ice cream floats here, finding them cool and refreshing. Fanta Grape Float with vanilla soft-serve Drinks The Frozen Apple Pie returns again this year. In years past, we found this drink to be better in presentation than it was in taste. It looked adorable, but the actual flavor left a lot to be desired. This year you can order for $6.75. Frozen Apple Pie New for 2025 is the Früli Strawberry Belgian White Beer for $12 AND a Strawberry Beer Float made with Früli Strawberry Belgian White Beer and vanilla soft-serve for $13.25. We had to try the Strawberry Beer Float, and we weren’t disappointed — in fact, it surprised us. We noticed a LOT of people commenting on this treat as they passed by, so it’s safe to say that the combination of beer and soft serve was causing some double takes. It’s very light and doesn’t really taste like beer, and the strawberry flavor is what you mostly get. Then, when the strawberry and vanilla ice cream flavors mix together, it’s just like a strawberry milkshake. Strawberry Beer Float It’s a great adult drink that is still a lot of fun. OVERALL If you’re craving a sweet treat or drink that is perfect for hot Florida days, you need to visit the Swirled Showcase. Not only is the ice cream available here INCREDIBLE, but the Liquid Nitrogen Frozen Pumpkin Cheesecake Mousse might be one of our favorite new fall treats that still works in the Florida heat and humidity. If you’re also looking for a nice cold adult beverage to enjoy, the Strawberry Beer Float can’t be beat. Click here to see FULL reviews of EVERY. SINGLE. BOOTH. at the Food & Wine Festival! 20. Come with us as we head over to Sunshine Seasons in EPCOT’s The Land Pavilion to check out a special shake for the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival. Remy Shake The 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival has officially opened, and it has a LOT to offer. There are plenty of food booths with tasty items, merchandise items to grab (of course), and even concerts to watch. But don’t let it overwhelm you, we’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. And now we’re heading to one spot in particular — Sunshine Seasons — to give you the FULL scoop! Is it worth a try? Let’s find out! The Remy Milk Shake is a non-boozy strawberry-cheesecake milk shake topped with a cookie, mini cheesecake, white chocolate Eiffel tower, and a strawberry. Remy’s Shake Drinks So, is the $10.99 Remy Shake worth a detour to The Land’s Sunshine Seasons restaurant? Let’s find out! Remy Shake Let’s start with the shake’s most dominant feature: it is SWEET! That may seem obvious for a milkshake, but this offering is exceptionally so, to the point that it felt like the sugar was coating our throat a bit (make sure to get a cup of water to wash it down). However, that doesn’t make the shake bad. In fact, those with a sweet tooth or a taste for strawberry milkshakes will probably feel it’s a hidden gem of the festival. Remy Shake The yellow cheesecake on top was tasty, though not revolutionary on our cheesecake-o-meter. It was spongy and moist, with a nice flavor. One word of warning: it stained our hands yellow, so be aware of that if you don’t want to resemble a Simpsons character. Remy Shake The strawberry and white chocolate accoutrements were a bit basic, but they did add some nice complementary flavors and visually gave the drink a charming aesthetic. OVERALL Overall, the Remy Shake was a nice addition to the Food & Wine Festival lineup. Its size and overall sweetness make it a drink we’d probably be more likely to share than consume entirely ourselves a second time (especially on a hot Florida day), but we can definitely see fans with a sweet tooth flocking to it. In addition, the whimsical aesthetic will make it a popular drink amongst youngsters and those looking to take photographs of a unique Food & Wine item! Remy Shake That’s it for this booth, but there’s a LOT more where that came from! Click here to see FULL reviews of EVERY. SINGLE. BOOTH. at the Food & Wine Festival! 21. Recently, after years of visiting Disney parks, I saw one of Disney’s best-known — and most adorable — unwritten rules in FULL EFFECT! Pluto Before I tell my story, though, let’s run down the “Hug Rule” just in case anyone is unfamiliar. The so-called “rule” refers to the fact that Disney characters won’t break physical contact or a hug with a child until the child releases first. According to theme park urban legend, the “rule” dates back to Walt Disney himself, who once allegedly expressed something along the lines of “You never know how much that child may need that hug.” While that’s unsubstantiated, there’s no doubt that the “Hug Rule”, aided by exposure on social media platforms like TikTok, has become somewhat well-known. Which brings me to my story… Recently, I was at Hollywood Studios with my son, and we visited the Cool Kids Summer installation. The setup itself was a highlight of the day, offering air conditioning, music, and Disney characters just freely interacting with kids with no lines! Plenty of characters to meet We made our way over to Pluto, and my son’s interaction with the character was adorable! They held hands and danced, and being that this was only my son’s second full trip to Disney and first where he truly interacted with the characters on this level, I began getting emotional myself… which is probably why it took me a few minutes to realize that the encounter was stretching out longer than usual. At that point, I saw that my son was hanging onto Pluto’s paw and hadn’t let go. I also realized that the character was subtly trying to indicate that they had to move along while at the same time keeping to the “Hug Rule” but not breaking contact or pulling away first! I jumped in and slipped my son’s hand out of Pluto’s, indicating that Pluto had to go visit some other friends, and the pup jauntily walked off to greet other children. The “Hug Rule” in action. The whole interaction probably lasted about a minute, and filled my heart with joy, both in seeing my son enjoy time with a Disney character and seeing said character’s commitment to making that interaction as special as possible! Stay tuned to DFB for more on Disney’s unofficial and unwritten rules! The NEW Rules You Need to Know For Magic Kingdom Right Now Have you ever seen an unwritten Disney “rule” in action? 22. The EPCOT Food & Wine Festival is finally HERE! It’s Tiny Train Town time! This annual celebration of global cuisine in Disney World runs from August 28th through November 22nd, and we’ve been making our way around the World Showcase, checking out all the booths, merchandise, entertainment, and more. But, it looks like things are getting festive at the Tiny Train Town as well! Greetings from the Germany Pavilion’s Tiny Train Town! We stop by here frequently to see what the residents of this itty-bitty city are up to (I am their mayor, after all), but this time, I’ve got a special update. Tiny Train Town The Food & Wine Festival banners have gone up next to the town, but they’ve also been added IN the town! That’s right, the citizens decorate for the festival just like the rest of World Showcase. How cute! Tiny Train Town This happens for each of the festivals in EPCOT, typically, and it’s so fun to see the tiny town get decked out in the spirit. Disney really thinks of all the little details! Do you think they have specialty food items at their restaurants for this occasion? I really hope so! If not, I’ll make sure to bring that up at the next town council meeting. We may be the tiniest town in Disney World, but we do things BIG around here. Tiny Train Town So if you’re heading to EPCOT soon, don’t forget to stop by and check out the decor here — AND see what shenanigans the residents are up to. They get into a lot of mischief! (Seriously, I try to rein them in, but they are DETERMINED to be delinquents.) A pretty day to visit. We can’t wait to explore more of the 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival as it continues, and we’ll be bringing you FULL REVIEWS of every single food booth.
