  1. If there’s one sweet trend that’s still going strong, it’s over-the-top Milkshakes! Learn About: Beaches and Cream Disney World Restaurants You’ll find them around Disney World at spots like Planet Hollywood and the All Star Resorts, and even over at Universal Studios at The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen. But there are some new Milkshakes hot (or cold?!) off the presses at a place in Disney World that’s synonymous with ice cream greatness, and that’s Beaches & Cream at Disney’s Beach Club Resort! It’s always been a place well known for Sundaes like the famous Kitchen Sink. And a couple years ago, Beaches & Cream made its milkshake mark with an array of hard Shakes and Floats just for adults. But the shakes we’re checking out today are brand new on the scene. Now, when you hear that these new shakes come in Vanilla, Chocolate, and Strawberry, you may be wondering, “What’s the big deal?” Beaches and Cream Well, let us tell you. Better yet, let us SHOW you! New Beaches and Cream Shakes Ready to dig in? New Beaches and Cream Shakes (By the way, these come with large paper straws, but you’ll definitely want to grab a spoon, too. And maybe a fork, while you’re at it!) The Mickey Confetti Vanilla Shake is packed to the plastic souvenir cup’s brim (yes, you get to keep it!) with rich vanilla ice creamy goodness. Mickey Confetti Vanilla Shake It’s topped with an entire funfetti cupcake which is further topped with frosting and a chocolate Mickey balloon! Mickey Confetti Vanilla Shake Colorful sprinkles line the rim. Mickey Confetti Vanilla Shake There are no additional add-ins within the milkshake itself — with the vanilla or the ones you’re about to see. Just simple classic shakes within the jar-style cups. Mickey Confetti Vanilla Shake The Chocolate Brownie Shake — like the Chocolate Lovers Kitchen Sink — is for serious chocoholics only. Chocolate Brownie Shake The chocolate shake comes in a cup that’s further lined with chocolate sauce with a chocolate sprinkle rim. Chocolate Brownie Shake Chocolate Brownie Shake A large (and noticeably soft and fresh) chocolate brownie and individual chocolate pieces more than peek out of the top — they take it over! Chocolate Brownie Shake But we’ve saved perhaps the cutest for last. For our favorite Mouse who loves her reds and pinks, it’s the Strawberry Minnie Shake! Minnie Strawberry Shake Strawberry sauce lines the strawberry shake-filled cup with a full-sized cupcake topping the drink. Minnie Strawberry Shake And, as you can see, it’s not just any cupcake… Minnie Strawberry Shake It’s a Minnie Mouse cupcake! The chocolate base comes topped with really yummy strawberry frosting, dotted with tiny strawberry bits throughout. Oreo cookies make up Minnie’s ears and a chocolate piece provides her signature polka dot bow. Minnie Strawberry Shake It’s worth noting that the cookies themselves were a little soft, possibly from the ingredients being prepared in advance. The new Shakes are $14 each, including the cup (which, by the way, are actually double-sided and printed — they’re not just sticker decals). Mickey Confetti Vanilla Shake Oh, and just FYI, these have not taken the place of the Boozy Shakes on the menu. Beaches and Cream Menu Those are still available, too! Adult Shakes and Floats at Beaches & Cream One more thing: note that these shakes are only available when you sit down inside Beaches and Cream with an Advance Dining Reservation or as a walk-in. They are not available at the To Go window — at least, not currently. So, get ready to grab a table or a seat at that Beaches and Cream Counter… Beaches and Cream Beaches and Cream … and dig into their latest ice cream creations! 3. The place to go for food that reflects the many cooking traditions of Mexico is Frontera Cocina, a table service restaurant located in Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs. And the mantra of the restaurant’s owner and leader, Chef Rick Bayless, is all about seasonality and respect for Mexican ingredients, methods, and food culture. Frontera Cocina That’s why you’ll find that the menu at Frontera Cocina changes with some regularity, reflecting both the season and the vibrancy of Mexican food. Chef Bayless is world-renowned for his cooking, which he has shared on his show, Mexico: One Plate at a Time and Top Chef Masters. And if you’ve had the pleasure of hearing him talk about cuisine on these programs or podcasts over the years, you already know how much he cares about his craft. Chef Rick Bayless And so it was great to see the chef out and about in his Disney Springs restaurant during a media preview for Frontera Cocina’s new seasonal menu and Taste of Oaxaca menu. Also on hand were entertainers who will be at the restaurant from time to time through early November to celebrate Dia de los Muertos. Live Entertainment We were invited to preview the new menus, and we were thrilled to have an excuse to return to Frontera Cocina. Our first visit was a hit, so our expectations were high. First up was the Taste of Oaxaca. Taste of Oaxaca at Frontera Cocina We started with three Featured Drinks, each unique and using ingredients specially curated for quality and impact. The Oaxaca Daiquiri was our favorite drink of the night, crafted as it was with a genuinely unique rum. (More on that in a moment!) Oaxaca Daiquiri Aside from the delicious Paranubes Oaxacan rum, the Daiquiri is comprised of banana, guanabana liquor, and agave nectar. It’s served frozen with a brown sugar-chia seed rim. Oaxaca Daiquiri This unusual rim was delicious with the sweetness of the drink. But this one is strong… and tastes potent. On the other hand, the fruitiness was so delicious, you might get over the strength of the alcohol even if that taste isn’t typically your preference. Oaxaca Daiquiri One ingredient behind the Oaxaca Daiquiri’s delicious uniqueness is the Paranubes Rum, which is derived from plantains. It’s that custom flavor which drives the drink. Oaxaca Daiquiri Rum Our server brought us a shot of the rum so we could sample it on its own, and we have to say, we’ve never tasted anything like it — in a good way! Oaxaca Daiquiri Rum The Mezcalita is Banhez mezcal, Ancho Reyes liquor, orange juice, and chocolate bitters. It’s a lovely color, owing to the orange juice. Mezcalita This drink is a delightful, balanced combination of smoky mezcal and sweet orange. And while the chocolate bitters add an unexpected element, it’s more of an aftertaste. The Mezcalita was the least memorable of the drinks, but it’s also the least intimidating (read: strong!) of the three drinks we tried. Mezcalita We also enjoyed the Mexican Chocolate Martini, which basically tasted like Christmas in a glass. Comprised of Montelobos mezcal, chocolate liqueur, and Avión espresso tequila liqueur, this is a strong drink that’s easy (a little too easy, maybe!) to drink. And that rim: it tastes like cocoa and brown sugar. Totally tasty. Mexican Chocolate Martini Food at Frontera has always been solid, and thankfully, the Taste of Oaxaca carries forth that tradition. We started with an updated version of guacamole — Guacamole with Chile Lime Chapulines. Guacamole with Chile Lime Chapulines As ever the chips were a great base for the fresh, flavorful guac. And unlike some Mexican restaurants, these aren’t greasy and unnecessarily heavy. Guacamole with Chile Lime Chapulines If you were wondering what chapulines are, they’re grasshoppers. Yep. Chef Bayless doesn’t include insects for shock value, though; rather his intention is to celebrate the cuisine of Oaxaca, where grasshoppers are a popular ingredient to provide texture and protein. And in our experience, it’s really the texture that the chapulines provide, rather than a powerful flavor. Guacamole with Chile Lime Chapulines Along with the guac and chips come the restaurant’s two classic salsas: chipotle and salsa verde. We always ask to keep them for the entree round, where we manage to eat every drop. Salsas Salsas Salsas Entrees for the Taste of Oaxaca are a highlight, starting with the rich Roasted Bone-In Beef Shortrib. Roasted Bone In Beef Short Ribs Served with Cotija mashed potatoes, sauteed Swiss chard, crispy onions, and toasted peanuts, the shortrib is roasted for 12 hours! Frontera Concina is doin’ it right, y’all! Roasted Bone In Beef Short Ribs The Cotija mashed potatoes were the big stand-out. The were rich and creamy without being heavy, and they were spot-on perfect with the beef. (These are also available as a side order on the regular menu, so don’t miss these!) Roasted Bone In Beef Short Ribs The play of textures is fantastic here. We loved the simple fried onions, which added a lot of visual interest as well as flavor. Something about onions and beef just works. Roasted Bone In Beef Short Ribs The dish is enhanced by a roasted peanut mole, which is as complex as you’d expect! Roasted Bone In Beef Short Ribs The peanuts are a surprising addition — and they’re here in two forms: toasted as a garnish and roasted in the mole. But they work really well, both adding to the dish rather than overwhelming it. Roasted Bone In Beef Short Ribs Did we mention the shortrib is roasted for TWELVE HOURS? Totally worth it when you see how fork-tender and pleasant the meat is. Our server told us this dish is the culinary team’s favorite, and we can totally see why! Roasted Bone In Beef Short Ribs The next entree, though, was our favorite. Oaxacan Mole Chicken. It’s gorgeous to look at, with the dark, developed Oaxacan red mole making a major statement. Oaxacan Mole Chicken The simplicity of the basic components here are a foil to the complex, highly-finessed mole, which you can bet was cooked over several hours. The base of the dish is plantain rice. This is helpful because you’re going to want to eat every drop of mole, and the rice will catch a lot of it for ya. Oaxacan Mole Chicken The plantains are soft and fruity, which works with the various notes in the mole. Oaxacan Mole Chicken The protein is a crispy half chicken, bone-in. It remains moist, with delicious skin. Oaxacan Mole Chicken And with the mole cascading over it, this is the kind of soul-warming dish you want to dig into with your hands. Oaxacan Mole Chicken The red mole is set off by garnishes of sesame seeds and cilantro. The light seeds, in particular, show you just how dense the color of that mole is. Something that rich in color can’t be bad. It’s a food rule (that we just made up). Oaxacan Mole Chicken And to top it all off, you also receive warm corn tortillas, a vessel for capturing the perfect bite every time. Oaxacan Mole Chicken The Taste of Oaxaca ends with a delicious dessert — the best of the two we tried during our visit: the Bunuelitos. Bunuelitos Simply said, this dessert has every component of texture and taste that you want in a dessert: crispy and creamy, sweet and salty, cinnamon and chocolate. (Okay, those last two might be diner-specific, but you get it.) Bunuelitos Bunuelitos consists of crispy flour tortillas, cajeta-caramel mousse, red wine drizzle, raw sugar, Mexican cinnamon, dark chocolate shavings, mezcal-infused dried cranberries, and roasted almonds. It sounds like a lot, right? But it turns out, it’s just right. Like just right. Bunuelitos The chocolate, cranberries, and nuts sprinkled atop the freshly-fried tortilla make their way into every bite. Bunuelitos And when we tell you the cajeta-caramel mousse with goats milk was rich, thick, and yummy, just know that we wish we had more words, but this mousse transcended them all. Our advice: try to save room for this. You’ll be doing yourself a favor. Bunuelitos But, y’all, we didn’t stop after this. We had a whole new seasonal menu left to try, and it did not disappoint. Seasonal Menu at Frontera Cocina Thank goodness we started with something light — although the Frontera Harvest Salad is in no way light on flavor or creativity. Frontera Harvest Salad As salads go, this was one of the finest we’ve tried. The peppery arugula and shaved Brussels sprouts are an awesome combination of greens, and they’re tossed with fabulous toppings like goats cheese, mezcal-infused cranberries, bacon, and pomegranate seeds. This is all carefully dressed with cilantro-serrano vinaigrette. Frontera Harvest Salad There’s nothing heavy about this salad, but the creamy goats cheese helps to make it feel like a meal. And with the combination of outstanding flavors and textures, you don’t miss having a meat at all. Vegetarians unite for this one! Frontera Harvest Salad Seriously, you can tell that so much love went into the Frontera Harvest Salad, and when we told Chef Bayless how much we enjoyed it, you could tell he and his team really put their hearts into this one. It’s in no way a throwaway dish simply added for the vegetarians; it’s a winner for any diner. Frontera Harvest Salad The only fish option of the meal was the Herby-Spicy Grilled Swordfish. And it’s another terrific choice! Herby Spicy Grilled Swordfish The swordfish itself is beautifully grilled, with prominent grill marks. Herby Spicy Grilled Swordfish The swordfish is thick and juicy — perfectly cooked. The char from the grill gives it the distinctive grilled flavor, too. Herby Spicy Grilled Swordfish The Herby-Spicy of this dish is in the sauce that tops the fish. It’s packed with flavor with a nice saltiness as well. We hit on lots of garlic and pepper, but there’s a great balance of spices in it. Herby Spicy Grilled Swordfish The base of the dish is plantain rice, which, again, serves the purpose of absorbing the sauces and juices from the protein. There’s also some Swiss chard under there — and it’s yummy. Herby Spicy Grilled Swordfish The cilantro-serrano aioli is a delicious addition, although the fish doesn’t necessarily need it. Still, there’s some nice herbaceousness in there. Herby Spicy Grilled Swordfish You get a wedge of lime, too. That acid can cut through the savory fish. Herby Spicy Grilled Swordfish Chile Roasted Cauliflower Gratinado is a good side dish but the least memorable of all the food we tried. The sauce is tomato-based and overpowered the cauliflower — which isn’t entirely surprising. Chile Roasted Cauliflower Gratinado It’s comprised of interesting components: golden raisins, toasted sesame seeds, and crunchy Cotija cheese. And the topping is texturally satisfying. But overall, it’s a little washed out. Chili Roasted Cauliflower Gratinado Dessert on the seasonal menu is terrific — even in the shadow of the outstanding Bunuelitos. The Spiced Pumpkin Tart is basically the definition of seasonal, with its graham cracker tart crust, pumpkin espuma, whipped cajeta cream, and candied spiced pumpkin seeds. Pumpkin Cream Tart We loved this — truly. It’s pumpkin done in a thoughtful way, lightened up as an espuma — essentially a foam — but rich due to the whipped cajeta cream. Overall, it’s really satisfying and tasty. Pumpkin Cream Tart What can we say about Frontera that we haven’t already? Frontera Cocina never fails to deliver creative and intelligent food that’s full of soul, and it’s absolutely worth a try for fans of Mexican food… and just great food, in general! 12. While we were in Disney Springs celebrating the re-opening of the World of Disney store, and finding attraction spirit jerseys we stopped at Starbucks to try out their limited-time Witch’s Brew Crème Frappuccino. Starbucks Witch’s Brew Crème Frappuccino Witch’s Brew is this Halloween’s specialty, limited-time/until supplies last, Frappuccino following in the footsteps of last year’s Zombie Frappuccino and other limited time Frapps like the Unicorn and Mermaid. Starbucks describes this as a blend of Toad’s Breath (the purple), a swirl of Bat Warts (the chia seeds), and a dusting of lizard scale powder (the green sugar sprinkled on the whipped cream). Right off the bat (pun intended), our Brew was light on the “Lizard Scale” — can you see it in this picture? We promise it is there! Starbucks Witch’s Brew Crème Frappuccino Now for the all-important taste — according to Starbucks it is supposed to taste like the Orange Crème Frappuccino. We were disappointed by this. It tasted like a watered down Orange Creamsicle from our childhood, but with a really gooey texture. The gooey texture came from the chia seeds, which didn’t add to the taste, but really subtracted from the experience for us. Starbucks Witch’s Brew Crème Frappuccino This is great for a fun Halloween or Insta picture, but if you’re looking for something that is a better flavor experience we’d say pick a different Frapp off the menu. Plus, the $5.95 price tag for a grande size made us question the value of the entire experience — even if we got great pictures and enjoyed eating the whipped cream! This Frapp is only around for a limited time, or until supplies last. Have you been spellbound by this Brew? Let us know in the comments! 14. Today’s was a big day in Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs! The re-imagined World of Disney reopened with a radically different look and some mixed reactions from Disney fans. And tucked into the check-out areas throughout the store are the reusable shopping bags! World of Disney Store Yeah, believe it or not, even a reusable shopping bag can be fodder for conversation among Disney guests, and it’s due to Disney’s announcement about reducing plastic waste in the World by eliminating (really limiting) single-use plastic straws and single-use plastic bags. But when you get a look at these cute reusable bags, you might just forget about all the plastic drama. Because Mickey! Mickey Reusable Shopping Bag Who could stay grumpy when they look at that face?! You’ll find displays of reusable bags in three sizes at the check-outs in World of Disney. The cheerful blue color stands out against the more muted displays. Mickey Reusable Shopping Bag With some prices rising all across the resort, it’s nice to see that these bags are really reasonably priced. The small and medium sizes are just $1, and the larger size — which is massive! — is $2. Mickey Reusable Shopping Bag The other side of the bag features the four characters who, with the main mouse, make up the Fab 5 of classic Disney characters. We see you, down there in the corner, Pluto, and we love you. Mickey Reusable Shopping Bag The large bag is quite large, big enough for several tee shirts, a couple of good size stuffed animals, or just about anything else you can find. We love that because it means we could feasibly get away with buying just one bag to haul all of our stuff. (Plus, are we the only ones who use Disney reusable bags when we get back home? Grocery shopping = way more fun with Mickey!) Mickey Reusable Shopping Bag One side of the bag highlights the Disney Company’s commitment to the environment, citing the bag’s 80% construction from recycled plastic bottles and providing the web address for Disney’s environmental stance. Mickey Reusable Shopping Bag A tag shares even more information about this initiative. Reusable World of Disney Bags Free plastic bags are still available at World of Disney, but honestly, we think of these reusable bags as a functional souvenir, so we’re happy they’re available! If you can’t leave a Walt Disney World vacation without grabbing yourself an order of Port Orleans French Quarter Beignets (or, you know, two or three orders…), you’re going to want to make an extra stop the next time you visit the resort. We present to you: the Beignet Tee! Beignet Tee Indeed, first: beignets. Then, beignet tee. 18. Good morning from the reimagined World of Disney Store in Disney Springs! World of Disney Store The centerpiece store — and still the world’s largest — carries every type of Disney merchandise you can imagine, and it’s long been a popular stop for Disney World guests looking for the perfect souvenir to remember their Disney World vacations. World of Disney sign And — like the rest of Disney Springs — the World of Disney has been undergoing a transformation in keeping with the rest of the remade shopping, dining, and entertainment district for Walt Disney World. And the Grand Reopening is today! Grand Reopening Ribbon Cutting Grand Reopening Ribbon Cutting Though sections of the store have been accessible during the refurbishment, now guests can step inside the fully functioning merchandise location. World of Disney Store World of Disney Store World of Disney Store World of Disney Store And with that story of the town, comes a story for the store! Then, once an actual animation studio opened up, the space was once again abandoned until retailers arrived. And the retailers brought new life back into what was once a thriving community. 23. No trip to Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square is quite complete without a stop at the land’s quick service restaurant, Columbia Harbour House, or a meal at Liberty Tree Tavern, Liberty Square’s table service option. Liberty Tree Tavern And Liberty Tree Tavern just so happens to be our stop for lunch today. We can never resist some of the old favorites here… but there’s also a Secret Menu item that we have to let you know about! Atmosphere Liberty Tree Tavern brings guests into the American Revolutionary era, well in keeping with Liberty Square. Liberty Tree Tavern The tavern’s seating is divided into six rooms, each dedicated to a Revolutionary-era hero: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Paul Revere, Benjamin Franklin, Betsy Ross, and John Paul Jones. On our most recent visit, we were seated in the Benjamin Franklin room. And if you take the time to look around, you will find nods to Franklin throughout, including a First Edition Poor Richard’s Almanack, written by Franklin himself. Poor Richard’s Almanack We’re keeping our tour brief today to focus on the best part of the Tavern: the FOOD. (For a full tour, check out this post!) But our server did point out some cool details that we’d love to share with you here before tucking in. Musical instruments Tri-corner hat Sundial There’s no shortage of those famous Disney details at Liberty Tree Tavern. And, thankfully, there’s no shortage of good food, either… Eats Our recent visit was for lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern, which has a different serving style from dinner. Dinner features the All-You-Care-to-Enjoy Bill of Fare featuring the Patriot’s Platter — basically a Thanksgiving feast any time of year — served family-style for all guests at the table. Lunch also offers Patriot’s Platter these days, but retains its long-standing a la carte menu, as well. Liberty Tree Tavern menu For appetizers, we were immediately drawn to the Crab, Artichoke, and Spinach Dip for Two ($15), which is served in a skillet with three huge servings of French bread. Crab, Artichoke and Spinach Dip for Two The dip itself was a terrific blend of cheesy, savory goodness. Sometimes, I worry about seafood dishes. Far too often, I get a dish of something almost too fishy and it takes away from the meal. However, this is a home run. Crab, Artichoke, and Spinach Dip for Two The artichoke and spinach nicely complemented the crab, and the broiled cheese on top created a gooey, mouth-watering appetizer. The bread was slightly toasted, yet still soft — a better option than the usual crackers served with a dip. I found myself eating the dip with a spoon towards the end because I ran out of bread. So, yes, I would order it again. (And again.) Now, we’ve got two entrees to share and while one is a classic favorite, the other is something you’ve likely never heard of: a Secret Menu item! I’ll keep this brief because I know what you are waiting for, but I always feel like Our Tavern Keeper’s Favorite deserves its own shout-out, too! This is the Tavern’s traditional pot roast served with mashed potatoes and green beans. Secret Menu Item and Our Tavern Keeper’s Favorite Okay, so the green beans were nothing to write home about (even though we received about a million of them). But the mashed potatoes were perfect: smooth, buttery, and delicious. And, as always, the pot roast itself is moist, cutting like butter on a hot knife. It’s seriously like a home-cooked meal right in the middle of Magic Kingdom. I applaud you, Liberty Tree. Maybe you can adopt me? Our Tavern Keeper’s Favorite Now, the Secret Menu item you’ve been waiting for: The Bell Burger. The Bell Burger The Bell Burger takes the house Angus Chuck Cheeseburger — which is already topped with bacon and cheddar along with tomato and lettuce — and adds an EGG and LOBSTER!! Oh, and a garlic marmalade, for good measure. First, this burger is HUGE. I don’t think any picture could allow you to comprehend just how massive this burger is. The bun is slightly sweet, as if King’s Hawaiian rolls and a burger bun had a baby and called it… well, whatever that bun is. The Bell Burger The bacon and the Angus Chuck burger both had a strong peppery flavor that without that sweet bun may have been overpowering. Along with the lobster and garlic marmalade, it made for a fantastic combination. Then there’s the egg, which is a fairly typical topping for a burger. But here it added a whole new level of richness to an already hearty burger. The Bell Burger The one downside to this burger is how messy it gets, but I think you might happily deal with your newest spirit jersey getting a stain or two on it just to have this burger. The Bell Burger A couple things to note: When you ask your server about The Bell Burger, they have to double-check with the chef to make sure all the ingredients are still available. We went towards the end of the lunch day and luckily it was still available, but other days might be different. So if you want to try it, make your Advance Dining Reservation for an earlier time during lunch. Also, the price for this enormous sandwich is $18.99. A sizable burger that has LOBSTER on it with a side of fries at Walt Disney World for $18.99? Not too bad, really. Nosh or Not? You should visit Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch if: You prefer a la carte menus where everyone in the group can make their own choices for their preferred “Bill of Fare.” You’re a bit of a history buff. You’ve just got to try The Bell Burger! You should pass on Liberty Tavern for lunch if: You’d prefer the full family-style meal served at dinner. You’re more into the idea of exploring some of the newer service settings in the park, like the Jungle Cruise Skipper Canteen. You no longer feel restricted to just lunch here ever since they started serving up Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake for dinner, too! Overall Liberty Tree Tavern is, quite simply, a classic Magic Kingdom dining experience. Though it may not spring to your mind as such in the same way a meal in Cinderella’s Castle might, the Tavern serves truly delicious, classic comfort food in a highly detailed setting. Even if it isn’t a headliner these days like, say, Be Our Guest Restaurant, we still consider Liberty Tree Tavern a must-try, at least once, for lunch or dinner. It just rarely disappoints. You’ll find Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square. Take a food tour of ALL the eats in the area in our DFB YouTube Video! Is Liberty Tree Tavern must-do dining for you? Please let us know with a comment! Related posts: News: Liberty Tree Tavern Menu Updates (And Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake for DINNER!) 24. A few familiar faces joined us this morning for the grand reopening of the World of Disney store in the Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort. Former Mouseketeers Sharon Baird, Bobby Burgess, Tommy Cole, Cubby O’Brien and Sherry van Meter were on hand to celebrate. The original “Mickey Mouse Club” television series debuted in 1955, just a few months after Walt Disney’s biggest project to date, Disneyland park, opened to the public. The hour-long show featured an entertaining cast of kids, also known as Mouseketeers! As we revealed last week, a new “Mickey Mouse Club”-inspired collection is now available at the World of Disney stores at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts. Mickey Mouse is featured in this classic-yet-modern collection of fashionable apparel and Mouse-themed accessories. “It’s an honor to be a part of this wonderful opening,” said Sherry van Meter (née Alberoni). “It’s exciting, it’s so nice to see so many fans; people that the Mickey Mouse Club meant so much to. I think [the ‘Mickey Mouse Club’ collection] is terrific and beautiful. Everything is in such good taste and such good quality. I love it!” This collection, along with an unmatched selection of other merchandise, await guests visiting World of Disney. 25. Our Insta-friend @thedukeofdonuts is on a (pastry) roll when it comes to discovering new spooky sweets at Disneyland! Last week, he introduced us to the adorable mummy donut. And today, it looks like an all-new Haunted Mansion donut has come out to socialize. So, how does it taste and where can you get your own? Haunted Mansion Donut from Disneyland Coffee Cart The Haunted Mansion design features green glaze, cookie crumbles, purple frosting, and a white chocolate gravestone atop a fluffy yeast donut. Haunted Mansion Donut from Disneyland Coffee Cart According to Ilya, the Haunted Mansion donut is good, but “very, very, very sweet.” There’s no filling inside the donut, but the purple stuff in the center is all frosting. Still, he recommends trying it, especially if you’re a Haunted Mansion fan. (But the Mummy donut is better.) Need to summon your own Haunted Mansion donut before the Halloween desserts disappear on October 31? Find it at the coffee cart near Sleeping Beauty Castle. It’s common for specialty donuts to sell out quickly, so plan to be in line around 8:00 AM if you’ve gotta have one of these terrifying treats.
