  1. Finding what shoes to wear for Disney World vacations is easier said than done. HOKA Clifton 10 You may think that your sneakers you’ve had for years and use every now and then at home will work great, but here’s the thing — you’ll be doing LOTS more walking than you’re used to on your vacation, so it’s of utmost importance to have shoes that are really going to support you and keep blisters from forming as you go about your day. I recently had a friend of mine ask me what shoes she should look for to grab for her upcoming trip, and these were the ones the team and I recommended! 2. Get ready for a big year of sailing! ©Disney If you’ve been dreaming of setting sail with the Disney Cruise Line, 2026 is providing a prime opportunity with the debut of the newest addition to its fleet — the Disney Adventure! Officially setting sail on March 10th, 2026, this cruise ship will have some unique features, like the Disney Imagination Garden, Disney Discovery Reef shopping and dining area, Wayfinder Bay poolside retreat, Town Square shopping/dining and entertainment area, Marvel Landing on one of the outside decks with Marvel characters and rides, and the Toy Story Place interactive water play zone for kids. We’ve gone through every single sailing scheduled for 2026, and we’re giving you the deets! Announced in November 2022, the Disney Adventure will have its home port in Singapore, and will be the first of Disney’s ships to sail from Singapore’s Marina Bay Cruise Centre throughout Southeast Asia. This ship will primarily offer 3- and 4-night voyages and will — uniquely — NOT stop in ports of call during the voyages. Still, Disney has called this ship the “biggest adventure yet,” as it will feature Disney, Pixar, and Marvel stories on board, as well as seven themed areas “packed with immersive experiences and entertainment featuring beloved characters where families can create memories to last a lifetime… without ever leaving the ship!” ©Disney || Marvel Landing concept art for the Disney Adventure Without further ado, let’s get into the Disney Adventure’s 2026 itineraries out of Singapore! 3-Night Cruises March 10th – 13th, 2026 — Maiden Voyage March 13th – 16th, 2026 April 6th – 9th, 2026 April 20th – 23rd, 2026 April 27th – 30th, 2026 May 4th – 7th, 2026 May 11th – 14th, 2026 May 18th – 21st, 2026 May 25th – 28th, 2026 June 1st – 4th, 2026 June 8th – 11th, 2026 June 15th – 18th, 2026 June 22nd – 25th, 2026 June 29th – July 2nd, 2026 July 6th – 9th, 2026 July 13th – 16th, 2026 July 20th – 23rd, 2026 July 27th – 30th, 2026 August 3rd – 6th, 2026 August 10th – 13th, 2026 August 17th – 20th, 2026 August 24th – 27th, 2026 August 31st – September 3rd, 2026 September 7th – 10th, 2026 September 14th – 17th, 2026 September 21st – 24th, 2026 September 28th – October 1st, 2026 October 5th – 8th, 2026 October 12th – 15th, 2026 October 19th – 22nd, 2026 October 26th – 29th, 2026 November 2nd – 5th, 2026 November 9th – 12th, 2026 November 16th – 19th, 2026 November 23rd – 26th, 2026 November 30th – December 3rd, 2026 December 7th – 10th, 2026 December 14th – 17th, 2026 December 21st – 24th, 2026 December 28th – 31st, 2026 ©Disney 4-Night Cruises April 16th – 20th, 2026 April 23rd – 27th, 2026 April 30th – May 4th, 2026 May 7th – 11th, 2026 May 14th – 18th, 2026 May 21st – 25th, 2026 May 28th – June 1st, 2026 June 4th – 8th, 2026 June 11th – 15th, 2026 June 18th – 22nd, 2026 June 25th – 29th, 2026 July 2nd – 6th, 2026 July 9th – 13th, 2026 July 16th – 20th, 2026 July 23rd – 27th, 2026 July 30th – August 3rd, 2026 August 6th – 10th, 2026 August 13th – 17th, 2026 August 20th – 24th, 2026 August 27th – 31st, 2026 September 3rd – 7th, 2026 September 10th – 14th, 2026 September 17th – 21st, 2026 September 24th – 28th, 2026 October 1st – 5th, 2026 October 8th – 12th, 2026 October 15th – 19th, 2026 October 22nd – 26th, 2026 October 29th – November 2nd, 2026 November 5th – 9th, 2026 November 12th – 16th, 2026 November 19th – 23rd, 2026 November 26th – 30th, 2026 December 3rd – 7th, 2026 December 10th – 14th, 2026 December 17th – 21st, 2026 December 24th – 28th, 2026 December 31st, 2026 – January 4th, 2027 Garden Stage ©Disney Disney cruises often sell out months in advance — especially for newly launched itineraries like these aboard Disney Adventure — so you’ll want to book AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! 4. Going to Disney World during Spring Break? You might be in for a WILD experience. Magic Kingdom crowds It’s one of the busiest travel seasons of the year, as millions of Americans are out of school and ready to travel. Spring Break crowds can often spread throughout March and April, particularly concentrating in the middle of March and the weeks before and after Easter. So if you’re hoping to travel during that time, what should you know in order to conquer the parks? Everything Will Be More Expensive First, you’ve got to know before you start planning your trip that EVERYTHING will be more expensive during Spring Break season. Disney World prices many things on a variable basis, meaning prices will be higher during the busier times of year. This means you’ll need to budget higher than usual for tickets, hotel stays, and Lightning Lanes. Disney’s Animal Kingdom You’ll also have to budget more for your flights during such peak travel season. Ultimately, your vacation could cost hundreds or thousands more by traveling with these dates, so make sure that the cost is worth it to you. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad But how can you combat this? There are a few ways! We always recommend checking out the Special Offers page on the Disney World website before you book your trip to make sure you aren’t missing out on any deals that could apply during your vacation. You can also search for deals on Disney gift cards and stock up before your vacation — we’ve had luck in the past with Target, Sam’s, and Costco. Crowds Will Be High, But Can Vary Day to Day Overall, crowds will likely be higher during the months of March and April, but they could vary fairly significantly. If you travel during a week that’s a less common choice for Spring Break, you could have an easier time than someone visiting during the second or third week of March (which are, historically, some of the most common weeks to travel). Crowds in Fantasyland And even though your vacation might be busy overall, you could still get randomly lucky and have one day during your trip where the crowds aren’t too bad. Sometimes it just happens that way — we visit a park on a random day during a busy season and find it’s not awfully packed. You Need to Plan Your Dining in Advance Visitors during Spring Break season think a lot about how to avoid waiting in long lines for rides, but they don’t always give their dining plans the same courtesy. If you’re traveling during a packed time of year, you NEED to plan your dining options in advance. If you want a table service reservation, they open up for booking 60 days before your trip at 6AM ET. For some popular spots, they’ll book up in MINUTES. Save the most popular spots for the days at the end of your vacation — that way, you’ll have the best chance of booking. Cinderella’s Royal Table And for those doing quick service dining, don’t forget about Mobile Ordering through the My Disney Experience app. Many of the fast food spots have this available, and you can schedule your Mobile Order in advance, then modify the pickup window later on if you need to. The popular quick service spots have Mobile Order windows that book up FAST, so this is very helpful. Full spread at Tiffins If you don’t have the chance to plan your restaurant visits two months ahead of time, don’t worry, there’s still hope! The My Disney Experience app also offers the Mobile Dine Walk-Up Waitlist, which shows last-minute availability at restaurants near your location. You may not be able to dine at the most popular spot in the park, but you could still score a meal at your hotel for that evening or snag a fan-favorite restaurant. Spending More Hours in the Park Makes a HUGE Difference Last but not least, I’ve got an important tip that you may not want to hear — the more hours you spend in the park, the more you can accomplish. This may seem obvious, but you can even squeeze in a break midday, as long as you’re in the park for the most IMPORTANT hours of the day. Rope drop and park close are the best times to knock out as many rides with as short of waits as possible. Rope Drop in Hollywood Studios Rope dropping means arriving at the park entrance 30-60 minutes before it opens. The first two hours and the last two hours of the day always have the lowest crowds and the shortest wait times. If you want to rest but maximize your time, do a midday hotel break instead of starting late or ending early. EPCOT So how do you maximize those early and late hours? If you choose to rope drop, make sure to allocate enough time for Disney transportation (we typically recommend at least an hour to get anywhere on property) and grab breakfast and coffee before the park opens (maybe have some quick breakfast options in your hotel room). When the park opens, have a plan of attack and prioritize the most popular rides on your list. We’re not rope-dropping to ride Spaceship Earth, friends! We rope drop to ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Frozen Ever After, or Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. Get on this ride! Whichever popular rides you don’t accomplish during the morning rope drop period, you can save for the end of the night. Keep in mind that this strategy is a little riskier because the ride could go down for technical difficulties. Also, you’ll need to plan any late-night ride time around the fireworks shows (if you want to see them). If you accomplish all the big-ticket attractions early in the day, the late evening is also a great time to knock out the “filler” rides on your list with very short wait times! Alien Swirling Saucers If you’re heading to Disney World for Spring Break, make sure you go in with a plan of attack! Having clear goals will make your vacation SO much smoother. 5. While Disney World is currently defined by major construction projects like Piston Peak, Villains Land, Monsters, Inc. land, and Tropical Americas, there is also a litany of smaller projects going on across the resort. Crew’s Cup Lounge Case in point, a major dining closures coming to the Yacht Club Resort at the end of February. The resort’s popular Crew’s Cup Lounge is scheduled to close on February 23rd, with an expected reopening sometime in May. Crew’s Cup Lounge The Crew’s Cup Lounge, which is located just outside the Yachtsman Steakhouse, features a menu of “Lounge Favorites” including charcuterie and cheese boards, lobster bisque, the Yachtsman’s trademark bread, and — OF COURSE — one of our favorite offerings at any Disney hotel: The Prime Rib Sliders. Prime Rib Sliders at Crew’s Cup Lounge We’ve been major fans of these delectable sandwiches for a long, long time. For $21, the dish provides 2 slider sandwiches stuffed with sliced prime rib meat, accompanied by a side of house-made chips, and cups of horseradish cream and au jus. Prime Rib Sliders Even if the Crew’s Cup hits its May reopening on target on time, it won’t mean the end of construction at the Yacht Club, as that month will in turn see the Yachtsman Steakhouse close or what Disney is calling a “refresh,” with its reopening expected in August. Yachtsman Steakhouse The Yacht Club’s popular Crew’s Cup Lounge is scheduled to close for a several-month-long refurbishment on February 23rd. Stay tuned to DFB for updates on its reopening. 7 Disney World Hotels In Serious Need of Transportation Upgrades Join the DFB Newsletter to get all the breaking news right in your inbox! 6. What’s not to love about the U.K. Pavilion in EPCOT? Where else are you going to get fish and chips, see Mary Poppins and Alice, and shop for tea you might not be able to find at your local grocery store? Crown & Crest But the U.K. Pavilion also has a shop you might have walked past without even realizing it was there. This shop, Crown & Crest, offers one of the most unique and personalized souvenirs you can get in EPCOT. Even better? You may even be able to get a discount on merchandise you buy there — and we’re going to tell you how. If you’re a D23 Gold member, you can now save 15% off your purchase at The Crown & Crest in the U.K. Pavilion. This includes everything in the shop, even the cool personalized family coat of arms that you can get to honor your family’s history. It also includes things like swords, dragons (not real ones, of course), jewelry, and clothing! The Crown & Crest Seriously, though, the family coat of arms is one of the coolest souvenirs you can get in Disney World. Just go into the shop and speak with a Cast Member who will help you research your family crest by name. The shop has a database of crests from all over the world, so they’ll certainly find it in no time. Once your crest is located, the Cast Member can explain all the details of it. Plus, you can purchase a copy of it to bring home. Get your family crest! The shop is also really cool to browse because you’ll often spot fun family crests with famous fictional characters and celebrities (we even once spotted the Kelce and Swift family crests in there once!). To get your discount, you must present proof of your D23 Gold membership. Not a member? Well, if you subscribe to Disney+, you can get a gold membership for free through the Disney+ Perks program! We’ll keep an eye out for more discounts, so stay tuned to DFB for more. Do You Know the CENTURIES-Old History Behind This EPCOT Store? 7. For over a decade, the area currently known as Disney Springs has been home to numerous restaurants and dining spots. However, as far as our experts are concerned, not every eatery is created equal. That is a MOUTHFUL of a burger Our experts skip some of these restaurants due to their food, others thanks to tired theming, and a few simply because they can find them at home. Of course, we have to note that taste is subjective. Your go-to Disney Springs eatery may have made the list, and there’s nothing wrong with that. T-Rex Cafe and Rainforest Cafe We’re grouping these two Landry’s-owned restaurants together, since the reasons our experts skip them are pretty much the same. Their internal 90s theme restaurant aesthetic and theming may be fun for kids, but likely feels dated and stale to most tweens and above, unless they’re huge fans of animatronic dinos and animals. T-Rex Cafe And to be blunt, nothing on either restaurant’s menu is exactly making up for that. Rainforest Cafe in Disney Springs You can also find Rainforest Cafe in a lot of other areas around the US. So, it’s not super unique to Disney. Blaze Pizza There’s nothing inherently wrong with Blaze Pizza, but considering the chain is relatively common, our pros recommend skipping it for something a bit more unique while at Disney Springs. Blaze Pizza We will say, if you are craving a quick meal and a custom pizza, this is a great option. But again, it doesn’t scream unique or Disney. So if that’s what you’re looking for, you may wanna pass this spot by. Spicy Pepperoni Pizza Terralina While Terrlina provides a wonderful dining environment — punctuated by the outdoor terrace that looks out onto the water — the restaurant’s menu hasn’t lived up to the setting during several of our visits. Let’s face it, if a burger is beating out two Italian dishes at an Italian restaurant, it’s probably not a good sign. Terralina Crafted Italian Sadly, the food here simply doesn’t blow us away, so we opt for restaurants in Disney Springs. Terralina Crafted Planet Hollywood Once the centerpiece of the former Downtown Disney area, Planet Hollywood finds itself stuck in the middle. It’s long-since been stripped of the majority of its whacky ‘90s design elements, replacing them with a modern — arguably bland — design aesthetic meant to appeal to more sophisticated diners at the expense of nostalgic millennial appeal. Planet Hollywood However, the restaurant’s menu is a disappointment to said diners, leaving much to be desired for both audiences. That is a MOUTHFUL of a burger Häagen-Dazs Much like Blaze, there’s nothing inherently wrong with Häagen-Dazs ice cream. However, it falls victim to the fact that Disney Springs is also home to an outpost of the much more unique — and rarer — Salt & Straw, which offers ice cream as well. Häagen-Dazs Paddlefish Paddlefish is housed in one of the oldest structures at Disney Springs, the paddleboat shaped building that was once known as the Empress Lilly, which has held several restaurants over the years. Sadly, the chain’s food hasn’t lived up to the location in the minds of our experts. Paddlefish It’s not bad food at all! It’s just not stellar. And Disney Springs has a seriously stellar lineup of food, making it hard to compete. Crab-topped Fries Chicken Guy! We already know this final pick is going to be a bit controversial, but the popular viral chicken joint from celebrity chef Guy Fieri closes out our list, especially after a big chunk of the specialty sauces were removed. Chicken Guy! Sandwiches This used to be one of our very top spots, but the removal of so many sauces has caused this restaurant to fall from our must-try list. While taste is subjective, you won’t find the pros we asked at these Disney Springs dining spots anytime soon. Stay tuned to DFB for more on Disney’s dining options. 4 Super Cringey Things That Make Me Rethink Walking Into Disney Springs Ever Again Join the DFB Newsletter to get all the breaking news right in your inbox! 9. Celebrities love going to Disney World as much as we do, and you may have even seen one or two visiting the parks at any given time — it happens A LOT. Spaceship Earth We’ve seen a few celebrities ourselves during our time in the parks, and some visit so often, they end up with their own special drinks at La Cava del Tequila in EPCOT…or in the case of one celebrity, his own special table. Well, if you have ever wanted to see a celebrity in Disney World, your best chance is coming up in March. Here’s the deal…MEGACON is coming to Orlando on March 19th and running through March 22nd. This comic and fan convention brings in a TON of celebrities for people to meet and get photo ops with. Now, you can go to MEGACON to pay for autographs and photo ops to meet these celebrities, or you can see if they turn up at Disney World. Now, we know a lot of celebrities will probably be heading to the parks either before or after the convention. ©MegaCon This year’s MEGACON guests include much of the cast of The Lord of the Rings movies (yes, that includes Pirates of the Carribbean’s Orlando Bloom), actors from Star Trek, Star Wars’ John Boyega, several actors from Star Trek, Giancarlo Esposito, Ashley Eckstein, Stranger Things break-out star Jake Connelly, and so many more TV and film actors, voice actors, and comic book creators. ©Disney It’s very likely these celebrities will want to visit Disney World, and we expect to at least see Ashley Eckstein because she visits the parks a LOT. But wouldn’t it be cool to see John Boyega ride Rise of the Resistance so he can see himself on the ride? There’s just no telling who you might spot in the parks just before and right after the convention. Ashley Eckstein in Disney World We’ll certainly be keeping an eye out for celebrities, and we’ll share details with you when we do. In the meantime, stay tuned to DFB for more. 11. Did you know one our favorite Disney World hotels is technically a Marriott? And that Marriott is constantly running hotel discounts? We love staying at Disney resorts here at Disney Food Blog, so when we saw this amazing deal, we had to share! Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin The Swan and Dolphin Resort is on Disney property within walking distance of EPCOT, but it’s owned and operated by Marriott. This means Marriott Bonvoy members can use their points on rooms and Marriott Bonvoy Cardholders can get some exclusive deals! Here’s how to get one of the best deals we’ve seen on Disney resorts this year. If you open a Marriott Bonvoy Bold Card, you’ll earn a reward for two free nights. To get the offer, you’ll need to open the card by March 11th, 2026, and spend $1,000 on eligible purchases in the first 3 months of account opening. These eligible purchases include almost every good or service – it’s only invalid on lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, race track wagers, or similar betting transactions. Plus, it has no annual fee! Dolphin Hotel The Marriott Bonvoy Bold Card also has some great perks. You’ll: Earn up to 14X total Marriott Bonvoy points for every $1 spent at hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy Earn 2X points for every $1 spent on purchases at grocery stores, ride shares, food delivery, streaming, internet, cable, and phone service purchases Earn 1X points per $1 spent on all other purchases These points can be redeemed for Marriott hotel rooms and even select flights with Marriott’s partners and rental cars with Hertz, Dollar, or Thrifty. Swan Resort lobby If you open a Marriott Bonvoy Boundless Card, you’ll get five free nights. Activate the offer by spending $3,000 on eligible purchases with the same restrictions as the Bold card, within 3 months of account opening. Also, like the Bold card, you’ll need to open the card by March 11th, 2026, to be eligible. The Boundless card has a $95 annual fee, but the points are worth it! Swan and Dolphin The Marriott Bonvoy Boundless Card has so many ways to earn points: Earn up to 17X total Marriott Bonvoy points for every $1 spent at hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy Earn 3X points per $1 spent on the first $6,000 spent in combined purchases each year on grocery stores, gas stations, and dining Earn 2X points per $1 spent on all other purchases Swan and Dolphin Resort We’re so excited to get some free nights at our favorite Disney World hotel, but you can spend them on most Marriott resorts across the country. 13. Staying at one of Disney World’s deluxe hotels should feel like an instant upgrade the second you walk through the doors. Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort These resorts are gorgeous, iconic, and some of the most expensive hotel stays on property. When you are paying deluxe-level prices, there are certain things that just feel like they should already be included. So today, we’re talking about four things Disney World’s most expensive hotels desperately need if they want to fully live up to that luxury price tag. Toiletries That Actually Feel Luxe Let’s just say it plainly. If you are paying deluxe resort prices, the basics should not feel basic. Deluxe Studio room bathroom We are talking about toilet paper, towels, and in-room toiletries that feel noticeably nicer than what you would get at a value or moderate resort. The deluxe resorts already charge a premium, so this is one of those small details that would go a long way in making the stay feel more elevated. Amenities Nothing pulls you out of the luxury fantasy faster than realizing the toilet paper feels exactly the same as the stuff you can grab in bulk at a warehouse store. At the very least, investing in higher-quality paper goods and upgraded bath products would make the experience feel more aligned with the cost. Guests notice these things, especially on longer stays. Free Resort Mugs for Deluxe Guests This one might be controversial, but we stand by it. For the amount of money guests spend per night at deluxe resorts, complimentary resort mugs feel like they should be a given. These mugs are already a popular perk for guests who purchase them, and they are a small but meaningful convenience. Resort refillable mugs When someone is paying top-tier prices, having to buy a mug separately can feel a little nickel-and-dime-y. Including resort mugs for deluxe guests would feel like a thoughtful perk rather than a major expense for Disney. It would also encourage guests to spend more time enjoying their resort amenities, which is a win for everyone. Resort Refillable Mug Plus, let’s be honest, sipping coffee by the pool or grabbing a refill on the way to the bus just feels better when it feels included. Consistent Room Service Across All Deluxe Resorts Room service used to be one of those things that truly set luxury hotels apart. At Disney World, that experience has become increasingly rare. In-Room Dining at the Grand Floridian Right now, full room service is extremely limited, with only the Grand Floridian offering it in a traditional sense. That feels wild when you consider the nightly rates at some of these hotels. Deluxe resorts should offer proper room service as a standard option, not an exception. Room Service Menu There are times when guests want a quiet night in, especially after a long park day. Having the ability to order a full meal to your room feels like a luxury touch that matches the price point. Even a streamlined menu would be enough to elevate the experience and make guests feel taken care of. In-Room Customizable Scents This one is a dream feature, but it feels very doable. Disney is already famous for its use of scent throughout the parks, so imagine bringing that magic directly into your hotel room. High-end hotels outside of Disney have begun offering in-room scent diffusers that guests can control themselves, choosing from signature scents designed to feel calming and luxurious. ©1996 – 2026 Marriott International, Inc. Now imagine staying at a deluxe Disney resort and being able to select a subtle themed scent for your room. A soft ocean-inspired aroma at a Beach Club stay, or something nostalgic and adventurous for a Magic Kingdom area resort, would instantly make the room feel more immersive. This wouldn’t need to be overpowering or forced. A light, optional scent experience would add an extra layer of magic and make the stay feel truly special. For guests who want it, it would be unforgettable. For those who do not, it could easily be turned off. ©1996 – 2026 Marriott International, Inc. At the end of the day, Disney World’s deluxe resorts are already beautiful, well-located, and packed with history. These additions wouldn’t reinvent them, but they would polish the experience in a way that feels appropriate for the price. He’s also the unofficial mascot at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge! Humphrey the Bear at the bottom of the totem pole! Not only is he at the resorts, but you can also spot him in Storybook Circus in Magic Kingdom! He’s everywhere if you just know where to look. Disney hasn’t shared if this new meet and greet at Storytellers Cafe is for a limited time or of he will stick around for a while! Humphrey in Fantasyland! 21. After Stitch stole our hearts once again with last year’s live-action release of Disney’s Lilo & Stitch, it’s time to make room for his intergalactic bestie: Angel. This will be your ultimate hub for all things Angel — news, merch, content, and more. And we’re kicking things off with her dazzling debut as a fan-favorite pop star. The Ultimate Hub for all Things Angel! Who is Angel? Angel’s New Hit, Glitter Glide Angel Toys, Accessories, and More Merch Who is Angel? No, she is not just “Pink Stitch.” Angel has been making waves in the Lilo & Stitch universe long before her pop star era. We first met Angel in Lilo & Stitch: The Series, where she debuted as Experiment 624. Created by Dr. Jumba Jookiba, Angel was designed with a powerful siren song that could turn rehabilitated experiments back to evil using a special musical trigger. Sing it one way and chaos followed. Sing it backwards and balance was restored. A remix with real consequences. But, like Stitch, her badness level didn’t stay high for long. With Stitch, Angel learned the true meaning of ‘ohana and chose love over destruction, with the two affectionately calling each other “boojiboo.” She later appeared in Leroy & Stitch, and later in the Stitch! anime, where her story really hit the high notes. There, Angel steps into the spotlight as an intergalactic singing sensation, juggling fame, touring, and a long-distance relationship with Stitch. Off-screen, Angel has popped up in video games, Disney Parks around the world, and special Disney experiences, taking her place as a fan favorite character. Angel from “Lilo & Stitch: The Series” Just Dropped Her New Hit, Glitter Glide Clear your calendars, change into your party outfit, and turn the volume all the way up because Angel has officially entered her pop star era. Straight from the planet Turo and into your headphones, Angel’s brand-new song “Glitter Glide” launches today with a music video that follows Angel and her ‘boojiboo’, Stitch, on an epic musical world tour, lighting up stages and spreading joy everywhere they go. Performed by HSMTMTS and Descendants star Dara Reneé, the Glitter Glide will be your newest obsession with its high-energy shimmering beats, an irresistible chorus, and a built-in dance you’ll want to learn immediately. You can check out the official music video now on DisneyMusicVEVO, with the single also available on major digital platforms. Now, it’s time to get up and dance! The Glitter Glide choreography is built right into the lyrics, making it easy to learn and perfect for sharing. 22. Picking the “right” Disney World hotel is a tricky task, and that’s why relying on the experts goes a long way. All-Star Sports Resort With so many Disney World hotels to choose from, it’s safe to assume that everyone is going to have their favorites based on budget, theming, location, and amenities. But it’s also fair to assume that folks will have a list of hotels they don’t want to stay at again. Maybe the cost was too steep, the atmosphere was too loud, or the vibes weren’t on par with what they were looking for. With that in mind, we’re highlighting three Disney World hotels some experts refuse to book. Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort Despite being a popular spot for families and vacationers on a budget, there are some notable issues with Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort. Disney’s All Star Sports Resort This value hotel offers you a budget option themed after all things sport. If you’re not a huge sports fan, this theming ain’t gonna do much for ya. There are some nods to Disney sports media that even sports-averse fans might recognize, but, compared to other theming options at other Disney World hotels, this one could be a miss depending on your personal tastes. Mighty Ducks section of Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort All-Star Sports is also often packed with large youth groups, including sports teams and cheerleading squads competing at Disney World for a given period of time. As such, this resort is one of the noisiest — if not the noisiest — in all of Disney World. Crowds However, maybe its biggest detractor is location. The All-Star Resorts, in general, only offer free bus service, and they aren’t located along the Disney Skyliner route. Skyliner Station at Disney’s Pop Century and Art of Animation Resorts That’s why we generally prefer staying at Pop Century or Art of Animation when looking at Value Resorts. Buses can be slow and crowded, but the Skyliner gives you a quick and scenic ride to both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios DIRECTLY FROM YOUR HOTEL, making the price difference worth it. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is upscale and gorgeous — but it’s hard to overlook the price. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Disney’s flagship resort offers Victorian elegance with elite dining options close to Magic Kingdom, but you’re gonna have to pony up to stay here. Rooms can cost well over $700 per night, and if you’re just using your hotel to sleep after long park days, this kind of cost is tough to justify. The Perch in the Lobby of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort Disney’s Polynesian and Contemporary Resorts are both Deluxe Resorts that have monorail access and will cost a little less — if you’re looking for an elevated, yet slightly more affordable lodging experience. Disney’s Contemporary Resort Disney’s Riviera Resort is also along the Skyliner route and puts extra cash back in your wallet. Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campgrounds For a lot of people, staying at a hotel is alluring because of its upscale and lavish vacation vibes. You’ll get something quite different with Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campgrounds. Fort Wilderness This resort lets you camp out at Disney World at a more affordable rate, and you can opt for cabins or campsites, bringing along RVs and tents to “glamp” at Disney World! It’s certainly a unique lodging experience with tons of recreational activities like horseback riding, archery, and canoeing, and it’s even pet-friendly. You can even indulge in a hootin’ good time and tasty meal at Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. But if you prefer a more traditional hotel stay and need amenities available late (shops and snack options aren’t open super late), this may not be the spot for you. Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue Other hotels like Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge can scratch that wilderness/rustic theming itch while providing upscale rooms and services. Just be prepared to shell out some cash. Animal Kingdom Lodge Which hotels would you add to this list? 23. It’s almost time for the BIG GAME! That’s right, we’re football fans in this virtual house, and we are only a few days away from Super Bowl LX. ©NFL The Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots will be battling it out on the field, and while we are excited to see who takes home the Vince Lombardi Trophy, it’s not what we’re looking forward to the most. Like most people watching the game, we are tuning in for those iconic commercials! Universal is already giving us what we’re craving because they’ve dropped their Super Bowl Ad early. In the caption, the company said, “We didn’t just revolutionize theme parks. We’ve changed everything you know about vacations forever.” After the opening of Epic Universe, we tend to agree with them! 24. We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: the shoes you wear to Disney World are SO important. One of our favorite shoes Chances are, you’ll be doing a LOT of walking on your Disney World trip — we’re talking around 20,000 steps per day. That means you need some seriously comfortable shoes. We’ve tested a TON of different shoes in the parks, and while these may be a little expensive, they’ll be totally worth it in the long run — just make sure you break them in first! DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. The shoes you wear to Disney World can make or break your trip! Check out some of our favorites below — and if you plan on buying them, make sure you do it in advance so you can break them in! Get the Hoka Clifton 10s Hokas If you’re looking for the MOST comfortable shoes we’ve tried out in the parks, look no further than the Hoka Clifton 10s. They’re pricey, but we’d pay a pretty penny to not have aching feet at the end of a long park day, and these absolutely deliver on that. These are built for long-term wear, and even after repeated use, they’re still springy in the heels. HOKA Clifton 10 They cradle your feet without being snug, and they aren’t too heavy despite being on the clunky side. The thicker heel helps make it feel like you’re bouncing around the parks thanks to the added cushioning. If you’re not a huge fan of sneakers, we bet you’ll change your mind after trying these out! View on Amazon We also love the Hoka Rincon 4s Hoka Rincon 4 We love the Rincon 4s because they’re both comfortable and breathable. They’re not quite as bulky as the Cliftons, which is better if you’re going for a sleek look. You can feel the cushion form around your feet as you step, which offers a lot of “give” and feels like you’re walking on a cloud. Hoka Rincon Our only complaint with these is that they rubbed the top of our reporter’s feet the wrong way when they were being broken in, but after they got used to the shoes, that problem mostly went away. We definitely recommend breaking these in on walks around your neighborhood before you head to Disney World wearing these! View on Amazon Or, you can grab the Brooks Ghost 17 shoes What shoes do you wear in the parks? The Brooks Ghost 17s feature a balanced feel — they’re not too clunky, and the soft and dynamic cushioning offers a smooth feeling with each step. They’re a little heavy at first, but nothing that will weigh you down too badly. We’ve found that the front of the shoe features a comfortable grip that hugs, but doesn’t squeeze too tightly. Brooks Ghost 17 After you wear them for a bit, you can start to feel the insole form around your foot and give you that extra cushion and bounce — especially in the heel, where you’ll likely need it the most. They’re also incredibly breathable thanks to the air mesh around the upper part of the shoe. The cushioning really makes you feel like you’re bouncing around the parks and lessens the impact on the rest of your body. You can have a wedding at Disney World, complete with photos in front of Cinderella Castle, or you can get married on Disney Cruise Line on the ship or at Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island. ©Disney You can also get married in Disneyland at the hotels, at Fantasyland Faire, at Sleeping Beauty Castle, and more.
