Soft, small and squishable with stars in their eyes, Disney Parks Wishables have become a guest favorite since their debut earlier this year. Ever wonder the story behind the plush? It all starts with a talented team of Disney cast members using their creativity and love for storytelling to bring Disney Parks Wishables to life. Merchandising manager Julie Young and character artist Maria Stuckey are part of this team. They began with an idea to create the next big – or in this case, small – merchandise must-have for Disney guests. Beyond being overwhelmingly cute, the collections are tied to experiences that guests have during a Disney vacation. “I believe Wishables are so unique and have really resonated with our guests because they are so cute,” Julie said. “It’s also about that experience and that memory that the guest is taking home with them.” More than 70 Wishables have been released so far, and each cute, collectible version of favorite Disney theme park characters, snacks, and even attractions vehicles started with a sketch by Maria. As a self-proclaimed professional Disney fan, she grew up in Florida visiting Walt Disney World Resort with her family. Now, she brings her passion for the details of Disney theme parks to the designs of new Wishables collections every month for guests to enjoy. “Disney has a deep root in who I am as an artist and a person and being able to take that love and share it with other guests is just a dream come true,” said Maria. Take a special behind-the-scenes look at how these toys were created. View the full article

R2-D2 Cake Alright, so maybe the R2-D2 Cake wasn’t actually emitting any sound effects, but it IS incredibly realistic-looking! We never realized until just this moment how perfectly suited R2’s head is to becoming a CAKE! R2-D2 Cake The R2-D2 Cake is made of chocolate chiffon cake with vanilla cream mousse, chantilly cream, milk chocolate ganache, and white and dark chocolate crisp pearls making for one very delicious little droid indeed! R2-D2 Cake Currently, you can buy the R2-D2 Cake at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs for $59! It’s a pretty hefty-sized cake, so if ya wanna share, there’s plenty of R2 to go around! It’s no surprise that one of our favorite spots around Disney Springs is the Indiana Jones themed watering hole, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar. Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar This booze haven has been upping their game, most recently with the addition of a slew of holiday treats AND even a holiday overlay. We loved the C9 Light Deviled Eggs and The Holiday Caprese Wreath. C9 Light Deviled Eggs The fan fav Holiday Nog also made a return and we now can sip on the White Christmas Margarita. White Christmas Margarita The Chef revealed to us the deep meaning behind these limited-time additions. He simply wanted “tacky food” and that’s just what he created! We can now let you in on a little secret. In addition to these holiday goodies, there is also the Secret Menu Dessert Trio, appropriately named, The Tacky Trio. We love it already! The Tacky Trio This perfect happy ending features cheesecake, cream cake, and one jingle bell pop. The Cheesecake is lemon flavored but, of course, red and green! This was delicious and featured just a little hint of lemon. It’s adorned with chocolate candies that mimic the bulbs on string lights. Cheesecake The cream cake was a plain cake with egg nog frosting and topped with red and green sprinkles and an adorable red chocolate bow. The Tacky Trio There was nothing plain about this at all! It almost reminded us of a vanilla muffin with simple, yet delicious, frosting. The Tacky Trio Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell POP! The Jingle Bell Pop is also available as a plate of three. The instaworthy treat is a dark chocolate truffle that looks like Christmas lights with crushed peppermint and peppermint syrup dipped in dark chocolate. It is then finished with edible glitter. Woah. If you want more you can grab a whole plate of em on the regular holiday menu! Friends, if you like dark chocolate this one is absolutely for you! Also: ALL. THE. GLITTER. Jingle Bell Pop You don’t want to miss this selection of yummy treats on your next visit. As you can tell, Jock Lindsey’s is a clear top choice for sweet and savory eats, treats, and drinks this holiday season. The Tacky Trio You also have to check out the festive holiday decor! Holiday Decor in Jock Lindsey’s The holiday limited-time treats and drinks are only available through January 5, 2020. Check out our review of the other holiday treats and eats here! Now that Disney’s Riviera Resort has finally opened and we’re IN LOVE with its sophisticated European flair, we still feel a certain pull to this South Seas-inspired oasis! Disney’s Polynesian Resort Join us as we head to Disney’s Polynesian Resort to enjoy a little “island time.” Plus, check out the tiki gingerbread treat we just discovered! The Polynesian is a place we’re proud to call our Disney World holiday abode because of its unique spin on Christmas traditions. And today we spotted a snack you’ll only find at Disney’s Polynesian Resort — a Tiki Gingerbread Cookie! Tiki Gingerbread Cookie OH WHAT FUN! Seriously, though — how cute is this little guy?! He’s such an interesting fellow to run into! While most of the snacks we’ve been seeing this holiday season at Disney World have been rather similar-looking (Santa Hat… Santa Hat… Santa Hat…) the Tiki Gingerbread Cookie is SUPER distinct and truly a Disney World original! Tiki Gingerbread Cookie But enough about this cookie’s rugged good looks! Time to see how this one-of-a-kind gingerbread cookie TASTES! Tiki Gingerbread Cookie We’re happy to report he’s SUPER yummy! The gingerbread is soft and delicious. He didn’t taste as spicy as some of the gingerbread we’ve had at the Grand Floridian Snack Shop or Beach Club, but the decorative sugar topper brought some nice sweetness to him. He’s a SWEET tiki guy! Tiki Gingerbread Cookie We picked up the Small Gingerbread Tiki for $5.50 at Kona Cafe. There’s also a Large Gingerbread Tiki for $6.50! And while you’re there, be sure to snag your Star Wars Refillable Mug, too! Now if only we could teach the Tiki birds in the Enchanted Tiki Room to sing some Christmas carols… What do you think of the new Tiki Gingerbread Cookie? Let us know in the comments below! Mickey Mouse And after seeing photos of this new annual passholder-exclusive phone case, we’re having some serious chats with Santa to see if he can swing an AP membership to Disneyland for Christmas! Check out the new Disneyland AP Phone Case! This thing is practically the Rolls-Royce of phone cases.:) The casing itself is made by OtterBox, while the back features an integrated PopSocket grip! It’s similar to the Walt Disney World AP Phone Case we saw earlier, but we think the Disneyland version is WAAAY cuter! ©Disney The design of the new Disneyland AP Phone Case couldn’t be cuter, either. It’s got so many elements to admire! From Mickey’s “autograph” at the top, to the old-timey pennant and Disneyland’s retro-style sign, we couldn’t be any more in love with this thing! ©Disney If you want to nab the new Disneyland AP Phone Case, look for it now at World of Disney, Trolley Treats or Off the Page. When Disney+ debuted back in November, the live-action “Lady and the Tramp” was at the top of my must-watch list, partially because our family’s dog, Chloe, looks so similar to American cocker spaniel, Rose, who plays Lady in the film. The movie is a charming live-action retelling of the story of the 1955 animated version, in which pampered Lady goes on an adventure with a stray named Tramp – and finds the value of family in the process. Today, Stephen Ketchum, show artist at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, is going to give us a tutorial on how to draw Lady, from the original film. Check out the video above for step-by-step directions. View the full article

As anyone who’s ever made the pilgrimage to Walt Disney’s original theme park can tell you, getting from the airports (especially LAX!) to Disneyland can be a bit of a hassle. Disneyland’s Adventureland You see, unlike Disney World’s Magical Express set-up, there isn’t a free Disney-owned and operated airport shuttle included when you book your Disneyland resort stay. There has been, however, the Disneyland Resort Express, a popular shuttle service provided by Coach USA. That is… until NOW! And according to The Orange County Register, starting early next year the Disneyland Resort Express, will cease operating both of its airport shuttles servicing Disneyland-bound guests flying in from LAX and John Wayne. Meaning guests visiting the “Happiest Place on Earth” are going to have to find their own third party means of transportation if they wanna see Sleeping Beauty’s Castle! Disneyland Disneyland is a good 33 miles from LAX International Airport and 15 miles from John Wayne Airport, making the use of a shuttle bus, rental car or rideshare service a requirement when planning a visit to Disney’s California theme parks. Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure This is sure to make an already challenging situation even more difficult if you’re hoping to forgo the expenses of renting and parking a car at the Disneyland Resort or are traveling with small children requiring car seats. Disneyland’s Frontierland The last day the Disneyland Resort Express airport shuttle bus service will be offered is January 7th, 2020. We’ll keep you informed as this story develops! We had a wickedly good time at Disney Villians After Hours in 2019! Maleficent at Night And now that this separately ticketed event is returning to the Magic Kingdom on select evenings starting February 7th, 2020, Disney’s shared some new details with us which include even more “villainous fun!” So what’s in store for Villains After Hours in 2020? While the fire-breathing Maleficent Dragon (borrowed from the Festival of Fantasy parade for the wicked occasion!) will be returning, a new Villians Cursed Caravan will creep along behind it including Disney bad guys and gals Gaston, Oogie Boogie, Cruella DeVil, Captain Hook and more! Cruella deVil Meanwhile, Hades and Meg from Hercules will be reprising their roles in the castle stage for “Villians Unite the Night,” featuring cameo appearances by Jafar, The Queen, Dr. Facilier, and Maleficent! Villains Unite the Night Of course, there will be plenty of special photo opportunities as well a dance party in front of Cinderella Castle for you to get down with your bad self! Villains After Hours Villain-inspired overlays will be returning to Pirates of the Caribbean and Space Mountain. There’s also typically much shorter wait times for popular attractions throughout the park due to the event’s limited capacity. Pirates of the Caribbean during Disney Villains After Hours In addition to the all-you-can-eat FREE treats included in the cost of your Villains After Hours ticket (we’re talkin’ complimentary ice cream novelties, popcorn, and select bottled beverages!) there will be tons of evil-inspired party-exclusive beverages and eats available for purchase! Dr. Facilier’s Tarot Card Tart from 2019 Villains After Hours Check out 2019’s Disney After Hours Food and Beverages HERE! A few of the new treats you’ll see next year are Painting the Roses Red — a cheesecake mousse with raspberry gelée, red cocoa butter, and buttercream leaves! You’ll find this one at (of course!) Cheshire Café! ©Disney Painting the Roses Red And get a load of this next one — Body Language! It’s inspired by the fabulously vile Sea Witch herself, Ursula! The treat consists of cookies and cream mousse with chocolate cake, glaçage, and meringue tentacles garnished with a chocolate shell. Grab one at Storybook Treats during Villains After Hours only! ©Disney Body Language Lastly, be sure to swing by Gaston’s Tavern for the Five Dozen Eggs Slush! It’s frozen custard with brown sugar topped with whipped cream and garnished with a cinnamon stick! We highly doubt it actually contains five dozen eggs (Gaston probably already ate them all!), but we LOVE the funny name! ©Disney Five Dozen Eggs Slush And it wouldn’t be a Magic Kingdom party without exclusive MERCH! Here’s a sneak peek of some of the designs for 2020 Villains After Hours gear! ©Disney You can purchase tickets for Disney Villains After Hours in advance for $145 plus tax or $155 plus tax on the event night — so save $10 by buying ’em ahead of time! We are counting down the days until Disney Villains After Hours returns to Magic Kingdom Park for 24 select nights starting February 7, 2020. Based on the popularity of Maleficent dragon’s journey through the park, we are enhancing the experience to include even more villainous fun. New this year, the Villains’ Cursed Caravan will join Maleficent the dragon as she creeps through the park twice nightly. The wicked procession will feature Gaston, Oogie Boogie, Cruella DeVil, Captain Hook and more! As a reminder, this event does not include character greetings. There is more villainous action at the event of course! Hades and Meg from “Hercules” will set the castle stage ablaze in “Villains Unite the Night,” featuring appearances by Jafar, The Queen, Dr. Facilier and Maleficent. During this sinister soiree, guests can dance the night away as a party DJ spins monstrous music on the Cinderella Castle Forecourt stage. Guests can also experience the surprising, villain-inspired enhancements at Pirates of the Caribbean and Space Mountain. As they make their way through each land, guests can strike a pose as they come across sharable photo opportunities scattered throughout the park. Disney Villains After Hours also includes wickedly good food and beverage selections. A few of the new treats this year are Painting the Roses Red (Available at Cheshire Café), a cheesecake mousse with raspberry gelée, red cocoa butter, and buttercream leaves; Body Language (Available at Storybook Treats), a cookies and cream mousse with chocolate cake, glaçage, and meringue tentacles garnished with a chocolate shell; and Five Dozen Eggs Slush (Available at Gaston’s Tavern). A frozen custard with brown sugar topped with whipped cream and garnished with a cinnamon stick. When I was young, I was obsessed with the “Disney’s Adventures of the Gummi Bears” TV show, which told the adventures of the Gummi Bears who lived in Gummi Glen. It was one of my favorite shows to watch after school. In today’s Disney Doodle, artist Ashley Taylor used the theme song from this animated favorite as inspiration for what the Gummi Bears might do if they had the chance to visit the Walt Disney World Resort this time of year. “The Gummi Bears are always ‘bouncing here, there and everywhere,’” Ashley said. “I’d imagine their bouncing skills would help the Magic Kingdom Park get ready for the holidays!” View the full article

It’s time to take a break from the parks and float along the coastline to the Riviera Resort! Riviera Resort While we’ve already taken you with us LIVE at the grand opening of the resort, we also gave you a sneak peek at the rooms, amenities, and MORE. And, now we’re celebrating yet again with a sweet opening treat! The Riviera Resort Cupcake is bright, cheery, and FUN at the new resort! Riviera Resort Opening Cupcake The celebratory treat is a vanilla cupcake topped with vanilla and chocolate buttercream, a splatter design, M&M’s, and a chocolate “splatter” piece (it’s just too cute!!). Riviera Resort Opening Cupcake Okay, before we dive into our review… Let’s just take a minute to talk about how much we LOVE the look of this cupcake! While the wrapper either comes with Mickey or Minnie jumping for joy (’cause same), the actual frosting, M&M’s, and fondant piece almost resemble a party hat. Don’t you just want to get into party mode by looking at it?! Riviera Resort Opening Cupcake Even though the design of the cupcake is super festive, the actual flavors are pretty simple. The cake is soft and moist (just like we like it). Both buttercream flavors on top mix together very well, but it could have used some more chocolate tbh! Vanilla and Chocolate Buttercream The added crunch from the M&M’s ties the cupcake all together, though, making it just a lil bit more interesting! So, even though the flavors line up with the typical Disney cupcake, they sure are tasty!! Um, How Cute Is This Cupcake?! We picked this up at Le Petit Cafe for $5.99 or a Disney Dining Plan snack credit! Although the design of the Riviera Resort Cupcake is super festive and “grand opening-y”, the cupcake itself is was listed as seasonal. Most likely, it will rotate with the other cupcakes in the bakery case (hey, we’re up for more cupcakes like this one!). Happy Opening, Riviera! Hungry for more eats and treats? Well, we’ve got you covered! You can check out reviews of Bar Riva, Primo Piatto, and breakfast and dinner at Topolino’s Terrace at the Riviera Resort! Plus, you can subscribe to our newsletter for all the deets on the new Disney resort! Have you tried the Riviera Resort Opening Cupcake yet? Let us know in the comments below! Mobile Order Update Although we’ve usually been able to pick up our food to-go and find a spot to eat, you can pick to have your meal prepared “For Here” or “To-Go” at the restaurants! While we were at Primo Piatto, we were able to grab the new “To-Go” packaging… To-Go Packaging at Primo Piatto …and “To-Go” cutlery (which just makes Mobile Order even better tbh). To-Go Cutlery Most likely the updated packaging options will be making their way to other restaurants around Disney World soon. And, we can’t wait!! You can keep up with ALL the Mobile Order news by subscribing to our newsletter! Have you spotted the new packaging options on Mobile Order yet? Let us know in the comments below! Ahoy there mateys! Caribbean Beach Pirate Pool We recently found ourselves at Caribbean Beach Resort (Maybe we were on a Skyliner Crawl. Who’s to say? ) and in need of a little lunch! While we’ve enjoyed (for the most part) the renovation at Banana Cabana and Centertown Market. we decided to check out Caribbean Beach’s other, somewhat secret Quick Service Spot: Spyglass Grill. SAY WHAT? Caribbean Beach has another Quick Service Restaurant? You bet your (pirate) booty it does! Spyglass Grill is located in the Trinidad “neighborhood” — about a 10-minute walk from the main dining and pool area. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (and on mobile order!), the spot offers its own unique menu of burgers, tacos, drinks, and more. Are you ready to follow the map to Trinidad, where Spyglass marks the spot? Atmosphere: Spyglass Grill Spyglass Grill is a rather small location, with solely outdoor seating. Luckily, it’s located right next to the Trinidad neighborhood pool, so you can enjoy your food poolside as well! Spyglass Grill Spyglass has a fun pirate theme, which is made known through props and artwork — such as this drawing of a pirate map and compass on the side of the restaurant. (This looks like Jack Sparrow’s compass to you too, right?!) Spyglass Grill Entry — Note the literal Spyglass! We spotted the pieces of eight in a glass case… Pirate Pieces of Eight …as well as Pirate trinkets and treasure on the shelves. Pirate Booty! Even though it’s small, Spyglass Grill had a solid beverage station set up — Beverage Station which had soda… Soda …tea and coffee… Tea and Coffee …and even hot cocoa! Hot Cocoa We also spotted a Spa water station, with complimentary fruit-infused water — perfect to refresh you after getting rays at the pool. Water Station We took note of the microwave and toaster situation (ideal for breakfast), Microwave and Toaster Station in addition to the bakery case. Bakery Case After taking in this small but fun spot’s decor, it was time to check out the menu! Spyglass Grill Eats: Spyglass Grill’s menu is much like Caribbean Beach in general — classic theme park foods, but with a tropical twist. Spyglass Grill Menu (click to enlarge) Spyglass Grill Menu (click to enlarge) We decided to start our meal off with something tropical, and after a quick Google search (more on that in a moment), decided on the Spiked Ortanique Lemonade. Though not listed, we were asked if we wanted to spike it with Light Rum, Dark Rum, or Tequila. We chose Light Rum — when in the islands, right? Spiked Ortanique Lemonade If you’re wondering what an ortanique is, don’t worry — that’s what we had to google. From our quick search we discovered it’s a cross between an orange and tangerine and was created in Jamaica in the 1920s. Seems pretty fitting for Caribbean Beach, huh? Ortanique Lemonade This drink was quite delightful! It was sweet because of the ortanique, but tart thanks to the lemonade. It wasn’t aggressively boozy, but you could still taste the alcohol. Overall, it was a simple, yet unique, cocktail that we could see ourselves enjoying again — particularly poolside. Ortanique Lemonade As far as food goes — one item really caught our eye: the Chorizo Burger. Spyglass Grill Menu We love burgers, we love chorizo — will we love them together?! Chorizo Burger The Chorizo Burger is a Grilled Chorizo Burger topped with Crispy Pork, Provolone Cheese, a Pink Sauce, and Crisp Potato Straws. It’s served with lettuce and tomato on the side, and your choice of yuca and plantain chips or french fries. Yuca and Plantain Chips We went for the yuca and plantain chips, cause we’re in the Caribbean y’all! These were quite tasty. While they are simple chips that have been fried and salted, we appreciated their crunch and natural flavor. They’re a fun side dish specially made for this resort, so why not try them out? Chorizo Burger The Chorizo Burger is a patty made of chorizo, and topped with crispy pork and potato straws — no beef here! There’s also a sweet and spicy pink sauce, which has a tomato base. Chorizo Burger Our server warned us as we ordered that because it’s chorizo, the patty may appear pinker than a traditional beef patty. But not to worry, cause it’s cooked through! Chorizo Burger So how was it? In a phrase, pretty darn tasty! ?Chorizo Burger The chorizo was perfectly cooked, so it had a little heat and spice, but was still something the majority of pork-eating folks will enjoy. We loved the crunch from the potato straws and were happy for the tomato and lettuce to add some needed freshness. The pink sauce was a great addition as well, bringing a bit of acidity into the dish, and helping to balance the provolone cheese. Chorizo Burger At the end of the meal, we were pretty darn satisfied! We’d enjoyed both an unusual cocktail and entree, both of which could be repeats should we find ourselves at Spyglass Grill again soon! Overall: Try the Spyglass Grill if: You’re having a resort day at Caribbean Beach and your room is close to Spyglass Grill. You want a step up from classic “theme park” fare but still don’t have a super adventurous palette. Skip Spyglass Grill if: You aren’t staying at Caribbean Beach Resort. You want a bigger menu and indoor seating. At the end of the day, both items we tried at the Spyglass Grill were tasty, and we’d even go so far as saying we’d order them again. That said, neither item is worth traveling out of your way for — and certainly not worth derailing your Skyliner Crawl to grab them. However, if you’re staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort and looking for something a little unusual, we recommend checking out the Spyglass Grill at least once. Savvy? Will you be walkin’ the plank over to Spyglass anytime soon? Let us know in the comments! Related posts: REVIEW: Lunch at Centertown Market in Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort! Luckily, it doesn’t seem to have affected horseback riding, so you can still make reservations for you and your group to enjoy! Read about Tri-Circle-D’s refurbishment here! Amorette’s Cake Decorating This one is SO FUN! Amorette’s Patissiere in Disney Springs is known for their totally Instagrammable dome cakes, but what many people don’t know is that they actually offer classes on how to make them yourself! Each class can hold a max of 14 guests, each of whom will be given the opportunity to make a classic Mickey dome cake, or another character (picked by the artist) on alternating days. Misha and Mady, instructors at Amorette’s Patisserie The 90-minute class is held nearly every day at 9 AM, and costs $169 plus tax for up to two people decorating one cake (all participants must be 10 years of age or older). While the price is steep, we had a lot of fun taking part it in ourselves! DFB MICKEY MASTERPIECE During the class, two cake artists take you through the steps of decorating your own cake, showing you how to paint and shape fondant. And when it’s all done you get to add your name to the back so they can pack it up for you to take home with you. All in all, this is one unique (and YUMMY) experience to enjoy in Disney Springs! Read about our experience of cake decorating at Amorette’s here! Wonderful World of Wines Wine lovers, listen up! The Wonderful World of Wines experience gives guests the opportunity to “sample the liquid legacies of some of the finest appellations and vineyards throughout California, Italy, France, Chile, Australia and more—and learn about their flavor profiles, winemaking techniques, and soil and climate conditions.” Well, sign us up! The Wonderful World of Wine The special event is held at 3 PM on every second Wednesday of the month over at the Yacht Club Resort. Available for $45 per person, each event has its own theme. When we went, our theme was “Never Had a Wine Like Me,” which plays off of “Friend Like Me” from Disney’s Aladdin. The Wonderful World of Wine At the event, you’ll be able to sample four wines (all presented by Yachtsman Steakhouse’s sommelier), and you will also receive a small charcuterie board to pair with your wines. Overall, it’s an awesome way to spend an afternoon at Disney, and is an especially great idea for any girls trip or family get together you might have planned! Read about our experience at the Wonderful World of Wines! Karaoke at Kimonos We bet you didn’t know you could actually do karaoke at Disney World! Kimonos Sushi Bar is one of the restaurants at Disney’s Swan Hotel, and it also happens to be a spot where you can stop in to sing a lil’ karaoke! Kimonos Sushi Bar We should put it out there that dinner at Kimonos is really yummy, so the karaoke is just a really cool added bonus! Plated Sushi Platter at Kimonos This is a great date night spot, or even a place you can take the whole family to have some fun belting out to your favorite tunes! Karaoke Stage No matter who you go with, you’ll have a blast with fantastic food, and plenty of laughs and song! Flight of Passage Line But that was then, and this is NOW! You’ll never believe what we’re ALL getting for Christmas from Disney this year — mid queue restrooms on Avatar’s Flight of Passage! We know that you know the importance of using the restroom before you get in the Flight of Passage queue, but sometimes, in spite of your best intentions, you just gotta go at some point past the hour mark of standing in line. And there hasn’t been a convenient place to heed the call of nature without stepping out of line and backtracking your way all the way out of Flight of Passage’s queue… until now! Flight of Passage Restrooms You’ll find these single-seater Flight of Passage restrooms as you pass into the bioluminescent jungle section of the queue, following the cave system waiting area. Now entering Restroom Country! The two restrooms are unisex, so all who enter here are welcome! (But…um…humans ONLY, pls.) Flight of Passage Restrooms Here’s a quick photo tour around ONE of the TWO new restrooms! Flight of Passage Restrooms There’s a sharps receptacle on the wall as well as an electric hand dryer… Flight of Passage Restrooms …and there’s a feminine hygiene product dispenser along a trash can receptacle in the corner. No changing table here, because you can’t soar on the back of a banshee with you bb! Gotta heed that height requirement! Flight of Passage Restrooms No mirror = No dawdling, folks! There’s only TWO of these puppies and we have a feeling they’re going to be POPULAR! (Almost as popular as the ride!) There are SO many things to celebrate this holiday season! Pandora While Christmas and New Year’s are just around the corner, we’re also saying “Happy Birthday” to The Princess and the Frog and Avatar in Disney World too! Can you believe they’re already 10 years old?! Well, if you’re ready to partaaayyy like we are, you can put on your birthday hats and head over to Pandora for a sweet celebration! It’s only fitting that Pongu Pongu — which means Party Party! — is the host of the commemorative 10th Anniversary Avatar Cupcake! Pongu Pongu Christmas Decor The vanilla cake is stuffed with a blueberry cheesecake filling and topped with blueberry buttercream and a white chocolate “Avatar Ten Year Anniversary” piece (so you can let everybody know how much you love the movie!). Avatar Anniversary Cupcake Since we love that Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse, it’s no surprise that this cupcake was BOMB to us!! The vanilla cake is soooo soft with a buttery taste, almost like a pound cake. The buttercream isn’t the regular ole Disney frosting, but instead a lighter and creamier version of the original! Plus, the strong blueberry flavor definitely comes through with every bite. Blueberry Heaven! While the filling doesn’t have as much as a blueberry flavor as the buttercream, the cheesecake is super smooth (just like we like it). We loved it so much that we wish there had been more! You can’t go wrong with more cheesecake! Happy Birthday, Avatar! You can put on some of the 10th Anniversary Avatar merchandise and grab the new cupcake for $5.99! But, you might want to hurry ’cause it’s only at Pongu Pongu December 17th through December 19th. Want to hear about all the other cool cupcakes around Disney World?
