  1. The countdown to Super Bowl LIV in Miami has begun and so has the anticipation surrounding Disney’s iconic “I’m Going to Disney World!’’ campaign. For more than 30 years, Disney has added to the drama and excitement leading up to the big game as fans everywhere wonder aloud which team will win the Super Bowl and which player will stare into those TV cameras and shout those five famous words – then magically appear in a celebratory parade at a Disney theme park mere hours later. It will almost certainly be a dream come true for the player who is chosen, perhaps a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to add his name to the storied list of Super Bowl legends who have been a part of the campaign over the years. For us here at Disney, the campaign goes to the heart of who we are – a company that strives every day to make magic and create lifelong memories for our guests. For example, Disney has collaborated with Make-A-Wish for four decades to help grant more than 140,000 wishes for children facing serious illnesses. The first official wish granted for a Make-A-Wish child involved a trip to Disneyland Resort in California nearly 40 years ago. Currently, Disney helps to grant more than 10,000 wishes annually for Make-A-Wish kids around the world. So, with the Super Bowl only days away, which player do you think will have his football wishes come true by joining the annals of Disney’s Super Bowl tradition? To get you ready for the buildup to this year’s annual Super Bowl campaign, check out this heartfelt video that celebrates our enduring Super Bowl tradition and our long-running relationship with Make-A-Wish. 2. If your New Year – New You includes a plant-based diet, your options are growing like a…well, a plant…and the panel is here with some must-try suggestions should you find yourself searching for this menu option. Heading to Batuu at Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort? If the intergalactic answer is yes, get ready as there are many delicious plant-based options (made without animal meat, dairy, eggs, or honey) found on this planet. Bryan recently landed in Batuu for a much needed refuel and popped in Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. He fueled up with a delectable meal of Felucian Kefta and a Hummus Garden Spread. “The spread included plant-based meatballs, herb hummus, tomato-cucumber relish and pita! Let me tell you, it was out of this world!” Tiffanie, a Disneyland specialty panelist and vegan herself, suggests visiting the Black Spire Outpost in Batuu for some tasty flavored popcorn at Kat Saka’s Kettle and the Ronto-less Garden Wrap at Ronto Roasters. (These locations can be found at both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort). These are just a few of her favorite recommendations, and oh yes, she also proposes you try the blue and green milk. She has a favorite. What’s yours? Tiffanie’s Tip: All the items mentioned above are plant-based with no modifications necessary. However, many other dishes can be modified to accommodate a plant-based diet! Simply ask a cast member if you have a question about a particular dish. And while there are many delectable options on Batuu, Betsy reminds Walt Disney World guests there are a plethora of delicious plant-based options from which to choose from throughout the resort. “This past fall, Walt Disney World launched its plant-based menu icon (a green leaf) along with hundreds of new plant-based choices in its theme parks and resort hotels. Now more than ever, it is easy and delicious to eat plant-based meals at Walt Disney World. While every restaurant offers plant-based menu items, I’ll fill you in on some of my favorites at Magic Kingdom. For table-service dining, I enjoy the Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen. Try the Shiriki Noodle Salad or the Curried Vegetable Crew Stew. Yum! If you are looking for quick-service options, I like the rice bowl at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe and the lighthouse sandwich at Columbia Harbour House.” Panel Tip: When dining at Walt Disney World Resort be sure to download the My Disney Experience app and try out mobile ordering at more than 20 locations. 3. Just when we thought we’d seen the last of the old-timey inspired Disney collections like the “Park Life” line, the retro-style Mickey Mouse Club and Mousercize gear, and the “Remember the Magic” re-issued designs, Disney releases a WHOLE NEW LINE of stuff! Walt Disney World Collection And with the new vintage style collection debuting in BOTH Disney World and Disneyland this weekend, it looks like the “everything-old-is-new-again” trend will be hanging around for at least a little while LONGER! They say you can never go back, but this new collection of Disney park merch is giving us MAJOR déjà vu. That’s because the colors, graphics, and styling of these items currently at Disney World and Disneyland look like a blast right out of the past. 4. The Mandalorian is everywhere for one reason or another right now, but it’s mostly because of the cute new sensation known as Baby Yoda. You can find Baby Yoda on phone cases, t-shirts, and even on a secret menu at Trader Sam’s in Disneyland. The Mandalorian Now, the Mandalorian is getting some respect with a piece of merchandise we found over in Disneyland. We spotted this mug in Disney World a few months back, but this is the first time we’ve noticed it in Disneyland! Inside Star Trader in Tomorrowland, they’ve slapped Mando’s mug on…well, a mug. Mandalorian mug Looks like Beskar steel makes for great coffee mugs in addition to body armor. Mandalorian mug If you want to pick up this bounty, you’ll have to pay out 22.99 credits, I mean $22.99. 5. Something happened under-the-radar last night while all of us were sleeping! Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno But luckily for YOU, our Mickey senses were tingling this morning when we woke up (they’re especially sensitive when it comes to price increases!) And you know those already pricey character meals at Disney World? Well, they just got EVEN MORE EXPENSIVE! While we’re big fans of dining with some of our favorite Disney characters instead of spending valuable park time waiting in lines to meet them, we know these character meals don’t come cheap. And if your on a tight Disney World budget (who isn’t amiright?), a price hike (even a small one) might be enough to knock a character meal off your vacation agenda! Hiya Pal! That’s why when we noticed this morning several of the character meals had just raised their prices on the down-low, we just HAD to tell ya! So far, here’s the list of character meals we’ve seen affected by these sweeping price increases that happened TODAY! 1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast Disney’s BoardWalk Inn’s Trattoria al Forno Hollywood & Vine at Hollywood Studios Garden Grill at Epcot Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club Resort Storybook Dining at Artist’s Point at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Akershus Royal Banquet at Epcot Tusker House at Animal Kingdom ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Resort Royal Prime Rib Roast Click here to see the full list of Disney World’s character meals! Adult prices for character meals at the locations listed above (including breakfast, lunch, and dinner) have all gone up $1. That may not seem like much, but that’s not the worst of it yet, folks! The real kicker is the new kids’ character meals cost. You see, they’ve all increased by $3-$4 across the board. Considering you could be traveling with 2, 3, 4 or even more kiddos, this small price increase could majorly impact your bottom line. Snow White at Epcot’s Akershus If you’re on the Disney Dining Plan, you might think you’re immune to this recent price hike, but guess again! Remember, you’ll still have to pay tax and gratuity, which will be MORE now that the prices have gone up! Granted, it’s not a HUGE increase, but still noteworthy! Akershus Spread If you’ll recall, we saw several popular Disney parks foods and beverages receive big price increases this fall — along with inflation on our beloved Minnie Ears! And sadly, some of our favorite off-the-menu items weren’t spared from price hikes EITHER! Our beloved secret menu $5 Noods at Tambu Lounge are now $9 Noods and the ‘Ohana Bread Pudding now costs a whopping $12! Experiment 626 Read more about the Tambu Lounge’s secret menu price increases here! Well continue to sniff out more sneaky Disney price increases, but for now, you should probably be prepared to shell out a few more dollars for certain items and experiences on your next trip to Disney World then you did in years prior! 7. You might find it hard-to-believe but Main Street, U.S.A. is my favorite area of Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort. You might ask, “Of all the things to see and do, why is Main Street your favorite Magic Kingdom location?” The simple answer is because I’m in love. . . with its design and architecture! I grew-up with Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland park in California. Intimate in scale and cozy in atmosphere, Main Street at Disneyland is deeply rooted in small town rural America. Its Victorian-era inspired architecture, with its fanciful ornamentation and gingerbread, is applied in just the right amounts to accurately evoke a little town that was of its time, place, and level of prosperity. Although I have great affection for Main Street at Disneyland my true love resides nearly 2,500 miles to the East. Ironically, I fell in love with Main Street in Magic Kingdom Park long before the park even opened in 1971. Now before you think I’ve really lost my senses let me explain. In 1969 I went with my family to see a brand-new movie musical called “Hello, Dolly!” I’m sure some of you are familiar with this now classic film? I sat there in the theater (admittedly not without protest) waiting for the movie to start and thumbing through the road-show program. It was there I learned that the film’s legendary director, Gene Kelly, had recreated turn-of-the-century New York City on the backlot of 20th Century Fox Film Studios in Hollywood. As an unsophisticated kid I wasn’t into the music, dancing, or any of that; instead I was enthralled by something that reminded me of Main Street at Disneyland but on a much grander scale (and no, it wasn’t the smell of freshly made movie theater popcorn). What I saw on-screen was a fantastic recreation of 1890s New York (complete with elevated railway). It was astonishing! It was seemingly enormous! And it was all movie magic! But it was so believable and appealing I wanted to go there! Cut to a few years later and my first visit to Walt Disney World Resort. As I emerged from under the train trestles of the Walt Disney World Railroad my jaw-dropped! I had a sense of déjà vu. Yes, it reminded me of Main Street at Disneyland park but was much more exaggerated. I knew this fantastical turn-of-the-century setting! It was only later, while working at Walt Disney Imagineering in the early 1990s, did I learn that Oscar-winning art director and production designer John DeCuir Sr., worked on design elements of Magic Kingdom Park (Liberty Square, Tomorrowland, etc.). His classic film credits include “The Bride of Frankenstein,” “The King and I,” “South Pacific,” “Ghostbusters” and wait for it (the film for which he won one of his three Academy Awards) . . . “Hello, Dolly!” Although DeCuir didn’t contribute to the design of Main Street at Magic Kingdom Park, what I saw before me was very reminiscent of his design work on “Hello, Dolly!” According to the 1970 “Preview Edition: Walt Disney World” brochure, “Old-fashioned shops and restaurants will be similar, architecturally, to elegant turn-of-the-century Eastern resorts such as New York’s popular Saratoga Springs.” What was before me was less a small rural town like Main Street at Disneyland park and more of a larger, bustling, architecturally sophisticated township with East coast design sensibilities of the ragtime era of 1890-1910 with an abundance of awnings, covered porches, interior spaces, and lots of eye-candy. From the enormously impressive Hospitality House (now the Town Square Theater), to the Main Street Station of the Walt Disney World Railroad, to the elaborate Emporium, it was a Victorian, turn-of-the-century setting better than anything that could have ever really existed. It was like being on the greatest movie set in the world except it was real! I was hooked! From the enormously impressive Hospitality House (now the Town Square Theater), to the Main Street Station of the Walt Disney World Railroad, to the elaborate Emporium, it was a Victorian, turn-of-the-century setting better than anything that could have ever really existed. Even the recently re-imagined Magic Kingdom Central Plaza, with its fountains, pathways, and colorful gardens, seems like a frame of cinematic visual magic. Today, Main Street, U.S.A. remains my favorite realm of Magic Kingdom Park. As for “Hello, Dolly!” my appreciation for the film has evolved exponentially since 1969. It is now one of my favorite movies and, cinematically, always reminds me of happy times spent on Main Street at Walt Disney World Resort. View the full article

  9. HOLD THE PHONE! We’ve made the discovery of all discoveries over on the planet of Batuu in Disneyland! Original Spork at Docking Bay 7 One of the most charming and unique initial elements of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge wasn’t the rides or the land itself — it was the uniquely themed sporks used in Docking Bay 7. They didn’t last long before Disney removed them BUT, guess what? They’re BACK. Many of you may remember that when Galaxy’s Edge opened last year in Disneyland, Docking Bay initially offered guests AWESOME metal sporks to use in the restaurant. It didn’t take long for them to be swapped out with standard cutlery options after a number of guests pocketed the utensils for personal souvenirs or to resell online (not cool, guys!). The same thing happened even quicker once Galaxy’s Edge opened in Hollywood Studios. Well, now we ALL have the option to get a metal spork! YAAAY! Docking Bay 7 Online Menu Yep, you heard us right! The incredibly cool metal sporks that briefly graced Docking Bay 7 have returned…only not quite in the same way as before. Instead of being used by guests dining in the restaurant, the sporks are available for purchase! For $10.99 you can take home your very own Galaxy’s Edge spork! No stealing required! WAHOO! We’re keeping our ears to the ground to see if Disney World begins selling the sporks (as of this morning, they are not). But we’ll be right here to let you know if and when they do! 14. Hello, Disney Parks Blog readers! As a 22-year cast member, I’ve gotten to see and make a lot of magic over the years – as have the rest of the 77,000 cast members at Walt Disney World Resort. From the day-to-day things like presenting a guest with a Mickey sticker or meeting a character during a cast-exclusive event, to the once-in-a-lifetime moments like being on the opening team for a new land, the #DisneyCastLife is something special. Being part of the Disney team has brought so much joy to my life, it’s my pleasure to join the Blog as an author to bring you stories about my fellow cast members. To kick off our first one, I’ve got a question for you. If you had to draw Goofy in 20 seconds, could you do it? I might be able to make something passable, but it would sure look (excuse the pun) goofy! We recently presented that challenge to cast members at The American Adventure pavilion in Epcot, with hilarious results. If you’d like to try your hand at drawing the world-famous Disney characters, visit the Animation Academy at the American Gardens Theatre, part of the fourth annual Epcot International Festival of the Arts. Classes happen daily at 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m., so be sure to plan your visit to include this fun activity, suitable for artists of all ages – and skills! Not only will you have more than twenty seconds to create your masterpiece, an actual Disney artist will be there to guide you every step of the way. View the full article
  15. The 1935 short “The Band Concert” is one of my all-time favorite Disney short films. And today, it’s the inspiration for this week’s Disney Doodle. In the short, Mickey takes on the role of bandleader, directing a concert band for a lovely performance in a local park. Mickey must guide the group through the show when ice cream vendor-turned flutist Donald Duck inserts himself into the show. Then a nosy bumblebee turns up to pester Donald and ends up wreaking havoc on Mickey and the rest of the band members. When a tornado unexpectedly sweeps through the park, “the show must go on!” with Mickey at the baton. According to artist Ashley Taylor, if Bandleader Mickey ever had the chance to visit the Walt Disney World Resort, he may wish to take his turn directing music over at Mickey’s PhilharMagic at Magic Kingdom Park. “Mickey’s Band Concert has performed throughout all kinds of unexpected situations,” Ashley said. “It’s easy to imagine them being able to handle performing at Mickey’s PhilharMagic.” View the full article
  16. While we love classics like Mickey Bars and Disney churros, funnel cakes have a special place in our hearts. Boardwalk Inn Funnel Cake Stand And, we might have just found one of the greatest funnel cake creations at the Disney Resorts (and we’re taking you with us to try it)! The Caramel Corn (!!!) Funnel Cake is being baked up at the BoardWalk Inn’s Funnel Cake Stand! Caramel Corn Funnel Cake Sign The funnel cake is fried in soybean oil and topped with sugar, caramel ice cream, caramel corn, and chocolate and caramel drizzle. Yeah, we’re already in love, you guys! Caramel Corn Funnel Cake The toppings on this treat are the BEST part. The ice cream has a hint of caramel in the flavor, but nothing too overwhelming. Most of the caramel comes from the caramel corn, which is super fresh and crunchy. Plus, the hint of chocolate drizzle on top adds an extra bit of sweetness to balance out some of the salty caramel flavors. ALL the Toppings! Although the ice cream slowly melts from the warmth, the funnel cake still holds up! Our funnel cake was crispy and delightful (just how we like it). Crunchy and Sweet Funnel Cake You can share this HUGE treat with your friends and family for $12.50. But, be sure to grab some napkins because the Caramel Corn Funnel Cake can get messy! 17. Beer, coffee, and some of the best Irish food around? Raglan Road, we’ve got MAJOR heart eyes for you! Raglan Road And, while we already told you how obsessed we were with FACE BEER (!!!), now we’re taking you with us for some well-needed caffeine (with an Irish twist, of course). If you’re looking for boozy coffee, Raglan Road is a bomb spot for a drink or two with their house brews. And, we’re trying something new, something sweet… Raglan Road Menu …and something traditional off the menu! It’s a good thing we love coffee! ;D Raglan Road Menu The Bush-Tail Nitro is the newest addition to Raglan Road, mixed up with Bushmills Irish Whiskey, a local Foxtail Brew Coffee, and Brown Sugar Syrup. Bush-Tail Nitro Our reporter called the Bush-Tail Nitro “dangerously delicious,” and that couldn’t be more true! The coffee is extremely smooth with a wonderful whiskey flavor (just without the bite of the alcohol). The little bit of whipped cream on top adds a hint of sweetness that ties the whole thing together for $13.50. Raglan Road, you’ve done it again! Bush-Tail Nitro If you’re looking to try something a bit more traditional, the Irish Coffee is a must-have classic at the pub! Our server even told us how to make it, even though Raglan Road’s will definitely be better than ours back home. You put sugar in first, coffee next, then however much whiskey you’d like (an ounce and a quarter is the standard), and an unsweetened lightly whipped cream so it doesn’t sink! Irish Coffee The Irish Coffee might seem simple with its ingredients, but the taste is AH-MAZING. It’s tasty, smooth, and has a hint of whiskey (but you can always add as much as you’d like) for $11! We think it would go perfectly with the Chocolate Heaven or Raglan Delight for dessert tbh. Irish Coffee And, last but certainly not least, the Iced Irish is a combination of Paddy’s Irish Whiskey, Butterscotch Schnapps, Baileys Salted Caramel, and Iced Coffee with Whipped Cream on top. Iced Irish Out of all three drinks, the Iced Irish is the easiest to drink since it’s practically a dessert itself! The sweet flavors have just a bit of saltiness to them (which we LOVE). The Iced Irish would be an excellent finish to a meal for $14, even if you don’t have room for ACTUAL dessert. Iced Irish While Raglan Road is a great place for a meal, it should definitely be added to your caffeine stops whenever you’re in Disney Springs next! You can keep up with all the other awesome things coming to Raglan Road by subscribing to our newsletter! Have you tried the coffee at Raglan Road before? Let us know in the comments below! Millennium Falcon While the park attractions are incredible, we’ve got a way you can go to a galaxy far, far away in your own backyard (and we’re basically about ready to move in). Millennium Falcon Inflatable ©Magic Jump To add a li’l extra thrill to your trip through hyperspace, you can tackle inflatable pop-up obstacles like a bunk, holo-map (featuring a holographic image of the Death Star), and a storage container in the main cabin. And, you can defend yourself against the Empire or the First Order by manning the laser cannon turret or stepping to the climber/slide in the middle of the ship. Make sure to look up, Rebels, ’cause the ceiling hatch also has graphic of an epic battle between TIE fighters and a Star Destroyer! Millennium Falcon Inflatable ©Magic Jump Sounds awesome, right?? Well, the Star Wars Millennium Falcon Experience is available for a cool $9,495 (!!!). So, unless you’ve made bank as a Bounty Hunter, you might be stuck daydreaming about the bouncy space ship instead of actually buying it. 24. If you’re looking to make the most of your Disney Dining Plan snack credits, it can hard to figure out which treats are snack credit eligible before you actually get to Disney World! Magic Kingdom But lucky for you, you’ve got US! You see, we’re at the Disney parks every day, so we can point you in the right direction towards really making those snack credits COUNT and NOT wasting your money$$$$$$! First, here’s a little rundown on how the Disney Dining Plan works — just in case you’re new to the DDP game! Each of the various Disney Dining Plans includes 2 snack credits per person on the plan, per day. Common uses for these snack credits include popcorn, fruit, ice cream, cupcakes, or beverages such as bottled water or soda. But most of those items are fairly cheap, and we’d much rather pay for them out-of-pocket so we can save our snack credits for where they truly count — on the MOST expensive, unique, or best bang-for-your-buck items! Bacon Mac and Cheese Fries at Casey’s Corner So whether you’re looking for the ultimate tasty snack or the best value for your Disney Dining Plan snack credits, you’ve come to the right place! Here are our TOP PICKS for the best treats at Disney World that you can get using a DDP snack credit in 2020! Pineapple Upside Down Cake from Aloha Isle Bring on the sunshine! Nothing says Disney World vacation more to us than the pineapple-flavor soft-serve commonly known in these parts as Dole Whip! But while you can snag a bowl of the sweet stuff by itself for $4.99 (or served as a Dole Whip Float with pineapple juice for $5.99), the best bang-for-your-snack-credit dessert featuring this icy pineapple treat is Aloha Isle’s Pineapple Upside Down Cake for $6.99! Loaded Fries from Casey’s Corner Why settle for a basic side of fries when you can use your snack credit to scale this magic mountain of potato, bacon, and macaroni to french fry nirvana? While we tend to favor the Bacon Mac and Cheese Fries for $6.49, the Chili Cheese Fries for $6.49 isn’t striking out with us either! These are some serious grand slam flavors for our loaded fries affection! Bacon Mac and Cheese Fries at Casey’s Corner Casey’s Corner is always coming up with new flavor combinations for its loaded piles ‘o fries too, so if you find yourself craving delicious ballpark-inspired eats at the Magic Kingdom, slide into this quick-service spot located right on Main Street, U.S.A.! Colossal Cinnamon Roll from Multiple Locations Call us nostalgic, but we love digging into classic Mickey-shaped eats like Premium Mickey Ice Cream Bars and Mickey-shaped Pretzels! Comprised of two cinnamon roll ears and one massive cinnamon roll head, the Colossal Cinnamon Roll isn’t an oxymoron — it can definitely feed your crew. Colossal Cinnamon Roll And you can find the sweet Mickey-shaped roll at various locations throughout the Disney parks! One of our favorite spots to grab one is Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery in Animal Kingdom. You can also pick one up at Creature Comforts in Animal Kingdom as well. Colossal Cinnamon Roll If you’re in Magic Kingdom, swing by the Main Street Bakery to find this gargantuan baked good. You can snag one year-round, but they get extra fancy during the holidays. For Halloween and Christmas (we’ve even spotted it dressed up for Valentine’s Day before!), they’re served with colored icing and a decorative chocolate piece on top! Honorable Mention: Warm Cinnamon Roll from Gaston’s Tavern As much as we adore the Colossal Cinnamon Roll, we go waaaay back with another Disney World sweet bread that isn’t Mickey-shaped — the Warm Cinnamon Roll at Gaston’s Tavern! Back in the days before Starbucks in Disney World, it was a highlight at the Main Street Bakery. It relocated to Gaston’s in 2012 when New Fantasyland opened. This ooey-gooey delight is thicker than most of the textbooks we read back in our school days! Warm Cinnamon Roll at Gaston’s Tavern And for $5.99, we like what it’s teaching us! Go a little nuts and ask for extra icing on the side — Gaston would WANT you to! Read about our love affair with Gaston’s Warm Cinnamon Roll here! Smoked Salmon Potato Latke at Epcot’s Festival of the Holidays In 2020, Epcot’s Festival of the Arts will be taking place from January 17th through February 24th. Next, Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival will kick off starting on March 4th and running through June 1st. Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival is the next celebration to follow, which will begin in late August and run through the fall and winter months. And Epcot’s Festival of the Holidays will finish out the year! Cheese Fondue DFB publishes ALL of the festival menus as SOON as they’re announced, and we eat ALL of the food on the first day of the festival, giving you our full reviews and our Best of the Fest for each festival. Stick with us and you’ll get all the info on the best eats and the best values at the festivals! See our FESTIVALS Page For What’s Happening On Your Visit! Cheese Stuffed Pretzels from Multiple Locations There’s no shortage of pretzels to tangle yourself up with at Disney World, but one of our favorite varieties are the ones that come pre-stuffed with cheese — no dunking required! Where do you find such angelic creatures stirring? The Lunching Pad at the Magic Kingdom is serving up a warm, delicious Cream Cheese Stuffed Pretzel for $6.79 while just a little further down the road you’ll spot the Pepper Jack Stuffed Pretzel from Cheshire Cat Cafe, also just $6.79! Pepper Jack Pretzel You can often find these pretzels at other parks and the Disney World Boardwalk as well, so keep an eye on pretzel carts and kiosks to find them! Read more about some of Disney World’s past and present stuffed pretzels here! Batuu-bon, Oi-Oi Puff, and Moof Juice from Docking Bay 7 We’re super-excited that Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is finally open at Hollywood Studios because now there are EVEN more out-of-this-world ways to spend those snack credits! Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo has become an intergalactic treasure trove for treats to throw a snack credit at, and one of our favorite snack credit values here is the Batuu-bon for $6.99! It’s a dense, rich brownie-like cake topped with a white chocolate mousse dome filled with coffee mousse! Batuu-Bon We can also recommend the Oi-Oi Puff for $6.49! It’s kinda like a cross between a cake and bread, filled with a sweet and tart raspberry mousse all topped with passionfruit mousse! Oi-Oi Puff And we’re not normally ones to recommend using your snack credits on beverages, but Docking Bay 7’s Moof Juice for $5.49 is really delicious. It consists of Simply Fruit Punch, Simply Orange with Pineapple, and Chipotle-Pineapple. While it claims to have some heat to it, we didn’t find any; but it was a fruity, refreshing drink nonetheless! Moof Juice These are definitely the snacks you’re looking for…to get your money’s worth on Batuu! Read our full Docking Bay 7 review here! Blue and Green Milk from The Milk Stand If the Moof Juice didn’t quench your intergalactic thirst, how about THIS Star Wars novelty! That’s right, friends! You can get a Blue Milk or Green Milk (worth $7.99 each!) with just one of your snack credits! Green Milk and Blue Milk Both colors are non-dairy and plant-based, made with coconut and rice milks. Blue Milk is flavored with dragon fruit, pineapple, lime, and watermelon while Green Milk has an emphasis on citrus with flavor notes of mandarin orange, passion fruit, grapefruit, and orange blossom! (At least, that’s what DISNEY says they are. To us, they just kind of taste like fruity perfume and perfumey perfume. But to each his own!) Read our review of The Milk Stand’s Green and Blue Milk here! Garlic Knots from Pizzafari Pizzafari’s menu may be VERY pizza-centric (and not all that highly recommended), but when we’re looking for a garlicky, bready snack to fill up on, we reach for their Garlic Knots for $6.99! Garlic Knots and Marinara Sauce The bread is generously coated with olive oil and a combination of herbs, garlic, and shredded cheese; and it’s served with a side of marinara sauce for major dunkage! This is a giant snack and totally shareable! Read more about Garlic Knots at Pizzafari here! Gelato Milkshakes and Floats from D-Luxe Burger While you can use DDP snack credits towards Blue and Green Milk at The Black Spire Outpost, you can also use ’em on milkshakes and other specialty drinks at many locations throughout the Disney parks! We think D-Luxe Burger has some of the best shakes at Disney World (especially because they’re made with super-creamy gelato instead of ice cream)! Their gelato flavors rotate seasonally, so there’s usually something new to try whenever we stop by — like the Pumpkin Pie Milkshake we enjoyed last fall! Seasonal Pumpkin Pie Milkshake at D-Luxe Burger And since they come in at a price tag of $7.50, these shakes are some of the best non-alcoholic values on the DDP! D-Luxe also serves Coke, Orange, and Root Beer Floats that are DDP-eligible and worth a snack credit value of $7.50! Read more about what specialty drinks you can get on the Disney Dining Plan here! Baked Mac & Cheese with Pulled Pork from Eight Spoon Cafe Last but not least, we have to tell you guys about the Baked Mac & Cheeses at Eight Spoon Cafe! This rather unassuming kiosk at the Animal Kingdom is a BEAST at serving up delicious grub! You can try their Baked Mac and Cheese with Pulled Pork for $6.79 or Baked Mac & Cheese with Shrimp and Sweet Chili Sauce for $6.99 with just one snack credit! Eight Spoon Cafe Pork Mac and Cheese These are HUGE portions of delicious, stick-to-your-ribs grub that can easily be treated as a meal, my friends! Read our review of the Baked Mac and Cheeses at Eight Spoon Cafe HERE! Want MORE Values? Now that you’re armed with this knowledge and well-prepared to use those snack credits, go forth into Disney World with confidence…BUT, don’t forget to check out our other posts that will guide you on the best Disney Dining Plan Values for other meals in Walt Disney World in 2020!
