  5. Earlier this week, Disney had us all hyperventilating a bit when they announced Cinderella Castle would be undergoing a “royal makeover!” ©Disney Artist Concept for New Cinderella Castle And at the time, we didn’t know many details about the transformation other than Magic Kingdom’s park icon would be getting a new paint job with a soft, rose gold pinkish hue and sparkly gold trim! But in light of park guests’ growing concerns, Disney’s made few comments to ease our worried minds! On the same Disney Parks Blog post where Disney initially announced the big Cinderella Castle refurb, Magic Kingdom Vice President Jason Kirk has posted responses to some of the commentators. For instance, in this statement he posted below, he wrote, “while temporary construction equipment may be present while Cinderella Castle receives its royal makeover, it will remain uncovered and we will do our best to ensure guests are still able to capture special photos and memories in the iconic spot.” Screenshot from Disney Parks Blog Jason Kirk also went on to comment that Cinderella’s Royal Table and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique would remain open during the refurb — so don’t cancel your castle plans just yet! Cinderella Castle Read more details about the Cinderella Castle refurb HERE! When harder pressed about the timeframe of the project, Jason Kirk stuck to his guns and restated, “Our work is expected to begin in the coming weeks and be complete before the end of summer.” Cinderella Castle Magical Kingdom’s castle shows “Mickey’s Royal Friendship Faire” and “Happily Ever After” will also still be performed! We’ll keep an eye out for other statements released by Disney regarding Cinderella Castle, but for now, you can probably breathe a little easier! Do you feel some relief after reading Jason Kirk’s responses to folks who are worried Cinderella Castle will be covered for their Disney World vacations? Let us know in the comments below! 7. We’re no strangers to the Rebellion, having ridden Rise of the Resistance quite a few times by now! Rise of the Resistance But today we spotted the BEST NEW STAR WARS RIDE we’ve ever seen! (We think it’s definitely going to ensure the good guys end up on the right side of history in their epic battle against the First Order!) Check out this incredible Star Wars stroller that we just stumbled across at Disney World today! While we’re used to seeing park guests distinguish their strollers (which all tend to look alike) with decorations such as balloons, ribbons or signs, we’ve never seen a stroller stand-out quite like THIS ONE! Strollers at Disney World From the back, the Star Wars Stroller kinda looked like a droid — WITH CUP HOLDERS! But we were intrigued enough to circle around to the front! DIY Star Wars Stroller Um yeah, some lucky little Han Solo or General Leia is rollin’ around in their very own DIY Star Wars whip! DIY Star Wars Stroller There’s even a “steering wheel” and control panel with buttons you can press like the ones you use to pilot the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run! Believe it or not, we even saw some USB ports for charging your electronic devices! This Star Wars family thought of EVERYTHING! DIY Star Wars Stroller In fact, this stroller even looks like its seen battle! Whoever painted this rolling tribute to the iconic sci-fi saga carefully distressed the finish. They also included a few areas where the stroller was struck with blasters! It appears to only have been minor surface damage and no actual babies were harmed, though! That’s a relief! DIY Star Wars Stroller We would love to give the person or persons who fabricated this awesome Star Wars-themed stroller the props they deserve, so if this starcruiser belongs to you or you know who its owner is, please let us know!
