Every week, we report the average Disney World wait times in every park so that you can be prepared for your next trip to Orlando! Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Disney World wait times have a reputation for being, well, unpredictable. Sure, we can look at past data to get an estimate of the crowd levels in Disney World, but you never know what may happen from year to year. So how did Disney’s wait times hold up after the President’s Day week ended? Well, Cosmic Rewind’s average wait fell by 25%, and that was just the start… Take a look at this week’s average wait times for proof! This is everything you need to know about the average wait times in Disney World over the past seven days. Wait times seemed to even out following the President’s Day crowds. Since younger Disney fans often receive the majority of focus, especially online, it can sometimes be somewhat easy to forget that the company and it cross-generation appeal reaches across the age spectrum. Magic Kingdom Recently, we reached out to Disney fans in their 40s, 50s, and 60s asked simply, “What’s one Disney trend that you HATE??” Unsurprisingly, our post received a ton of feedback from “older” Disney fans, many of whom weren’t shy about sharing their opinions. Let’s begin with reader Leilani, who took issue with guest etiquette during fireworks shows. They wrote, “Kids on shoulders during shows. If you’re going to do that, you should be in the back where your kid isn’t blocking the view for multiple people behind you. Don’t get my started with blocking others view because you’re videoing the fireworks – why should other people have to miss it live just so you can watch it live AND again at home? Phones and children should not be raised higher than your own eyes.” Picking up on a similar vein, reader Mike expressed bluntly, “Needing your cell phone for everything!” From the train station Reader Rachel took issue with how Disney classifies the plant-based options on their menu, writing, “Lumping vegetarian & vegan options into one thing. I’m allergic to tree nuts and Disney uses a lot of cashew based cheeses & creams in their vegan options. But since there’s only 1 per most menus, I usually can’t eat it or I have to get all the flavor removed. It would be nice if there were two options per menu. 10+ years ago I use to love eating at WDW because I felt like there were so many amazing food choices for me. But it feels like there are less now and they’re not as good. However, they’re still light years ahead of other parks in that department.” Vegetable Lentil Pie Meanwhile, reader Jessica expressed a sentiment shared by many readers, lamenting the lack of spontaneity in the current Disney experience. They wrote, “The meticulously planned itinerary that cannot be altered. The rushing to fit in as much as possible in one day. Nope, not us. For the most part, I don’t even care about the rides anymore. Been there, done that. It’s all about the vibe now. We buy hoppers and go wherever we feel like whichever days we feel like it while we are there. Much more enjoyable.” Reader Shannon agreed, writing, “You need to be practically a Disney expert to get the most out of the parks. You can no longer unplug and just let the day take you places unless you are okay with long lines and quick service food.” Booking The Beak & Barrel Online ©Disney Several readers brought up bubble wands, the popular children’s souvenir available across Disney’s parks. Reader Carolyn wrote, “Please don’t hate me, but – bubble wands. As the owner of a dodgy knee and collapsing back, I use a mobility scooter at the parks, meaning I’m on eye/mouth level with streams and streams of soapy bubbles. I don’t mind kiddies playing with them, just please don’t walk or ride in a pushchair round the parks with them constantly turned on!” Bubble Wand Reader Jennifer stood up for Disney Adults hitting traditional middle age, writing, “People hating on me because I’m a “Disney Adult” and branding us with that just because we aren’t 5 anymore. First time I was brought to Florida was under a year old, been going religiously ever since. My Aunt and Uncle and other elders who used to go religiously were never called Disney adults or made fun of. I’m just following my families footsteps on being lifelong Disney fans for life. It’s what makes me happy and calm and comfortable. It’s my happiness and escape and something I naturally do on my own in general.” Slinky Dog Dash in Toy Story Land These were just a handful of the many, many responses we received from Disney guests in their 40s, 50s, and 60s. A month ago, Universal Orlando Resort made an announcement that had us jumping out of our seats. They announced that Universal Studios would be getting a new Fast and Furious roller coaster! ©Universal The new attraction is called Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift, and it will be replacing Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, which closed last year. The new ride isn’t set to debut until next year, in 2027; however, we are already seeing aerial photos of construction taking place at the park, and we can’t help but be excited. Want to see some photos? This new Fast and Furious ride is completely different than the one Florida currently has, which is Fast and Furious Supercharged. It’s a high-speed coaster featuring 360-degree drifting vehicles and a 170-foot vertical spike. This same roller coaster is actually coming to Universal Hollywood in 2026. We were hoping we’d get the same experience when we heard about it, and our dream has come true! ©NBC Universal With the new roller coaster coming, Fast & Furious Supercharged will actually be permanently closing in 2027. So not only is Universal getting a new roller coaster, but you’d think it’s safe to assume a new attraction will be replacing Fast & Furious Supercharged. That makes us wonder what could be coming to that space! The ride really wasn’t that popular, so we’re excited to see what else could be coming. Fast & Furious Supercharged We’re going to keep an eye out for more construction news and what’s happening at Universal Orlando. We don’t miss a thing, so make sure to stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog so you don’t miss a thing either. In just a few short weeks, the newest section of Disneyland Paris, Disney Adventure World (formally named Walt Disney Studios Park), will officially reopen its numerous new sections, including World of Frozen, new restaurants, a new Tangled ride, and so much more. ©Disney The new areas will open on March 29th, and we could NOT be more stoked. We’ve already gotten to see sneak peeks of the new lands and attractions, and they all look incredible, but now we’ve gotten a look at something else we can’t wait to spend our money on — new merchandise! There’s so much to unpack here, we’ve got to break it all down. In bin one, we can clearly see an ADORABLE plush of Olaf holding some of the Snowgies, and it looks to be a knitted pattern! We can also see a collection of what looks to be mini ornaments or toys, all featuring characters from the films. There also seems to be a sweater that has Olaf and Sven on it, with the homemade style — how fun! @disneylandparis on Instagram In the second bin, we can see a mini Snowgie plush, which is beyond adorable, as well as some postcards of Arendelle, a pen, what looks to be a magnet or pin, a Frozen water bottle featuring Olaf, and finally, a pink and white hair scrunchie and a blue baseball cap-type hat. So far, we’re loving the variety! @disneylandparis on Instagram In the third bin, there are some normal essentials along with what we believe may actually be available in the park. We know that, for sure, we’ll be able to purchase the mini knitted-style Olaf plush, as well as the ear headband with the three Snowgies on top. However, it remains to be seen if we’ll be able to purchase the white belt bag in the bin, or if that was just for show! @disneylandparis on Instagram Finally, the last bin was filled with GEMS! We got a look at the gorgeous new ears that will be in the land, as well as the wallet or clutch that matches the style. It looks like we can also purchase a Snowgie bag charm, perhaps a bracelet with charms from the franchise, and there’s a pamphlet/small book of some kind in there, too — we can clearly see Anna and Olaf drawn on it, so we know it’s themed to the land. @disneylandparis on Instagram We cannot wait to see this merchandise in person when we visit soon. We talk a lot about our park bags when we talk about visiting Disney World because we have several bags that we’ve tried and loved. Of course, there’s our old standby, Loungefly bags, especially the cute ones we have of our favorite characters and movies. Our pin-displaying sling bag! We’ve also tried our share of fanny packs, as well as sling bags. But speaking of sling bags, we just recently found one that does double duty...it’s not JUST a sling bag, but it’s also designed to showcase your pin collection! DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. Get the Cherry Sauce Oxford Pin Sling Bag Pin trading is so fun! This sling bag is everything we need in a park bag. It’s a comfortable bag we can easily sling over our shoulders. We also love that we can display our pins on the bag, which makes pin trading even easier! The front pocket is clear with an insert, so you just attach the pins to the insert and slide it into the front pocket. This keeps your pins secure, too. This bag can also carry all our essentials, and it even has a little extra pouch for more pins (or coins). Back of the bag The size of the bag is really good, and you can get a lot in it without it getting too heavy. The strap is adjustable, and you can change it based on which side of your body you want to wear it on. It also comes in a variety of colors, so you can create your own look with it. Pin collecting and trading have been a big thing for Disney fans for as long as we can remember. There’s something special about collecting different Disney pins and trading them at the park amongst other fans and Cast Members. However, guests have had some words when it comes to the pin shopping experience online. Cast Members trading pins Lately, Disney fans have been giving feedback to Disney that they want the pin shopping experience to be better on the Disney Store. With the demand for pins increasing and the collecting culture getting bigger, changes need to be made to help the shopping experience improve. Well, Disney has heard the feedback, and it looks like a change is on the way! The shopping experience for new pins released on the Disney Store can be crazy when limited-edition and exclusive pins are just released. Well, Disney reached out to say they’ve heard the requests and are working on changes to improve the pin-buying process. Stitch Crashes Disney Pins The change will involve implementing new strengths that are going to be added to the system in the next couple of weeks. This will come in the form of safeguards being added that will require customers to log in before joining the queue to buy new pins when they drop. This will be a great change to help prevent misuse when it comes to grabbing those limited-edition pins. Pins and more pins! This change is strictly to make sure they monitor the traffic so they’re reducing the misuse. Based on what they heard from shoppers, they want this to be a better and easier experience. Pins! Limited-edition pins can go so fast, so it’s nice that Disney is listening to collectors on what needs to change in order to make the shopping experience better and fairer. We’re sure happy to hear that something is being done. For more Disney news and updates, make sure to stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog! Here you can dance alongside Mickey and Minnie as they go on a road trip to find their best pals, Goofy, Daisy, and Pluto. (Please be aware that this addition will make its debut later in the summer.) Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! The Problem You might be thinking all of this sounds great! How could there be a problem with saving money, new experiences, and attractions reopening? Well, with all of this happening, it will bring in a LOT of visitors this summer. As attendance rises, we could see increased Lightning Lane prices, longer wait times, and dining reservations becoming increasingly harder to get. The parks, water parks, Disney resorts, and Disney Springs will be packed with things to do, but also guests trying to enjoy all of the offerings. Is it a reason to not go to Disney World this summer? Probably not, but you will want to set your expectations on what your vacation will look like and be flexible. Crowds at Hollywood Studios Tips for Navigating this Summer There are a few tips we have for navigating this summer to help you have a better vacation. Book Those Reservations Early. Be sure to book any dining you are hoping for exactly 60 days in advance, around 6 AM ET. Also, grab those Lightning Lane selections when they open (7 days in advance for Disney hotel guests and 3 days in advance for other guests). Take Breaks. When it feels hot and too crowded, you don’t have to power through it. Go back to your hotel, do a table service lunch, or see a show indoors to take a break. I promise, you’ll feel so much better by doing so. Use the MyDisney Experience App to Save Time. Utilize Mobile Ordering for your food and set it for a time in advance to minimize long waits when you’re hungry. You can also save time by doing mobile checkout at many stores in Disney World through the app. Set Your Expectations. The summer will be hot and crowded. You are likely not going to get to see, do, and eat everything you want in one trip. Set your expectations and pick a few must-dos each day; anything over that is a happy bonus! Cinderella Castle won’t be pink for much longer! This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t head to Disney this summer, but we hope this information helps you plan for a smoother vacation! Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Construction and changes are happening all over Disney World, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios is no exception. In fact, tomorrow is your LAST day to experience this popular attraction before it closes to undergo a massive retheme. Tomorrow, March 1st, is the final day to ride the current version of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith before the ride closes on March 2nd to make way for the new Muppets retheme. Part of the retheme happened a little earlier than expected, back in December 2025. We walked into the ride’s pre-show room (which will be heavily rethemed), only to find that it had been CLOSED months ahead of the ride’s official refurbishment start date. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster The remainder of the ride will close on March 2nd to begin the retheme, and while walls are likely to go up outside the attraction at some point soon, you’ll still be able to make your way past the ride to get to Villains: Unfairly Ever After. It may get a little crowded over here, or we may deal with a bottleneck for some time, but we’re thrilled this show will still be open during the construction. Villains: Unfairly Ever After Once Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster reopens (hopefully this summer, if the current timeline remains correct), it’ll become Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. While the ride style and ride track of the attraction will remain the same, Disney has said that the new ride will be “fueled by the tasty tunes of the Electric Mayhem and the high-speed hijinks of The Muppets.” The Muppets have teamed up with “music’s biggest stars for a rockin’ music festival,” but they’re running late to their set. ©Disney You’ll still start the attraction with a VIP tour of G-Force Records, now owned by Scooter’s uncle, J.P. Grosse. In the pre-show room, we’ll see Scooter and his penguin audio engineers try to get the Electric Mayhem out of the studio and on the road so they won’t be late to their show. Guests will be able to see the surroundings of Tinseltown, all with a Muppets twist, and we’ll all still be boarding those limos (rethemed to look like the Electric Mayhem’s iconic bus) to take a wild ride through the streets to get to the show. ©Disney Whether you’re looking forward to this retheme or not, it doesn’t change the fact that the OG version of this ride will be GONE after tomorrow. It’s a special type of feeling when you see one of your favorite snacks come back! EPCOT We recently saw on the My Disney Experience app that one of our favorite treat shops at EPCOT has brought back one of our all-time favorite Disney World snacks, and excited would be an understatement for how we feel! Not only that, but there are more interesting treats making their way to Disney World. Take a look — we’re about to put you on to some new snacks. We can’t believe it, but the carrot cake cookie sandwich is officially BACK at Karamell-Küche! Karamell-Küche is a treat shop located in the Germany pavilion in World Showcase at EPCOT. You’ve seen us grab so many tasty caramel treats there before, but we will admit that this treat may have the top spot. Karamell-Küche The treat is made of carrot cake whoopie pie sandwiched with Werther’s Original Caramel and Salted Caramel buttercream frosting. The center salted caramel frosting mixed with the sweet taste of the carrot cake sandwich is just something we need to have again. We’re seriously begging you to try this now that it is back! Caramel Carrot Cake Whoopie Pie That’s not the only treat coming to the shop, as we also saw on the app that there is a mini Easter Bunny Caramel Apple. It’s a Granny Smith apple with marshmallow ears dipped in caramel and white chocolate coating. It also has sprinkles and chocolate bunny ears. Look at the bunny apple! (2025) Speaking of Easter treats, EPCOT isn’t the only place getting them. You’ll find tons of Easter-themed goodies at Zuri’s Sweets Shop in Animal Kingdom. The Easter Bunny Caramel Apple is there, as well as the Spring Chick Caramel Apple… We love them …the Mickey Bunny Cereal Treat… It’s SO cute …and a few different Easter-themed cupcakes! One of our Easter Cupcakes from years past We were seeing that basically all the same Easter-y goodies are available at Goody’s Candy Co. at Disney Springs. They also usually pop up at the Main Street Confectionery at Magic Kingdom, but you might not see them on the app. Goofy’s Candy Co. We can’t wait to try these new treats, but mostly to get our hands back onto that carrot cake whoopie pie. You know, here at DFB we love talking about Disney food — it’s kind of our thing! So that’s why we are constantly in the parks trying new food and drinks, so we can report it back to you. Hand-dipped Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar with Chopped Peanut Butter Cups In doing so, we get to learn a lot of Disney food and spot trends that are developing across Disney World. If you’ve been visiting Disney World over the last few years, you’ve probably noticed dining trends come and go. We’ve seen a big push toward atmospheric lounges, endless variations of the same comfort foods (looking at you, specialty chicken tenders), and premium glow-ups of classic treats like the classic Mickey ice cream bar. There is a new trend starting to develop, and for those of us who love small details, this is big! At Eight Spoon Café inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom, a kid-friendly Club Soda (Sprite with blueberry syrup) includes a paw-print-inspired ice cube. We love the tiny detail, and kids will too! Cub Soda at Eight Spoon Cafe So Why Isn’t It Everywhere? If guests love it and it photographs beautifully, why don’t all Disney restaurants do this? There are a few practical reasons. Custom molds require storage, freezing time, and staff. During peak service, standard ice is fast; specialty ice is slow. Quick-service locations serve hundreds of drinks per hour. Themed cubes work best where drinks are crafted individually, like at lounges and signature dining. All to say, we would love to see a glass slipper ice cube at Cinderella’s Royal Table or a Monorail-shaped cube at Steakhouse 71! Manhattan at Steakhouse 71 We’re always tracking details like these at Disney World because the details matter. Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney World dining trends, hidden details, and the things you didn’t know you needed to look for. Sometimes, companies want to have a little fun, but they’ve gotta be careful not to alarm people TOO much about whatever practical joke they’re playing. ©Tampa International Airport We’ve seen Orlando International Airport (MCO) have some fun plenty of times before, as well as seen Universal Orlando poke fun at Disney World. Now, the Tampa International Airport just pulled a little prank that had hundreds of thousands of people left VERY confused, but don’t worry — it’s totally fake! As you can imagine, people began to freak out, not liking being told what they can and cannot wear on travel days (you want to stay comfortable on that flight!). However, the airport confirmed this was all a joke when speaking to People Magazine, stating, “Tampa International Airport regularly shares lighthearted, satirical social media content as part of our ongoing effort to engage with our followers. Today’s post about ‘banning’ pajamas was another playful nod to day-of-travel fashion debates. We encourage our passengers to travel comfortably and appreciate our loyal followers who enjoy the online humor.” ©Tampa International Airport That’s true! The airport’s account has a long history of making funny, satirical, and comedic posts. The airport’s social media manager, C.J. Johnson, talked about these types of posts in a speech at the University of South Florida in September 2025, saying, “If I got on every day at Tampa International Airport and tweeted we have flights today, who would care? No one. If we do funny, silly stuff like this with targeted messages that grow your audience, and then I say, ‘Hey guys, by the way, we are closing the airport due to a hurricane,’ then people lean in and listen.” Ready to fly? C.J. Johnson also took to LinkedIn to share more about the behind the scenes of making the choice for such a post. He reminded readers about the “Crocs ban” that the airport posted about last year, and said that he didn’t expect to see a post that took him 15 minutes to create to blow up so intensely. Within just hours of hitting post, thousands were talking about it — the Secretary of Transportation even chimed in, reposting the airport’s hot take! Johnson finished the post reciting the same idea he gives in talks about social media, saying that, “people are looking for (and truly craving) authentic content. They’re tired of AI-generated copy and want something that ‘sounds’ like them — and they want to have a little fun, too. Taking a few calculated risks (like jokingly banning pajamas) and leaning into trending conversations can go a long way in building a healthy (and sometimes noisy) online family.” Where are you flying next? We thought there were a lot of changes happening last week in Disney World, but as it turns out, this week is filled with even more big changes that will change the parks for good! Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Last week’s changes took place primarily in Animal Kingdom, but now, it’s time for Disney’s Hollywood Studios to join in. Yes, that’s right, the day has officially come — starting this week, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster will officially close to make way for its new Muppets retheme! Disney’s Hollywood Studios Animation Courtyard Animation Courtyard closed on September 25th, 2025, to make way for Walt Disney Studios. This new area is expected to open in summer 2026 and will be a special nod to the Walt Disney Studios lot. Star Wars Launch Bay will be turned into The Magic of Disney Animation. This attraction will have you interacting and exploring with this fun take on Disney Animation headquarters. Most recently, Disney announced that a new Animation Academy experience called Olaf Draws! will be added into this new area, and it’s been…controversial, to say the least! ©Disney This area will also feature a new Drawn to Wonderland indoor play area and the current Disney Jr. Play and Dance! show will be getting a makeover. During the transformation, you will still be able to visit “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” and Walt Disney Presents. Muppets Courtyard, including Muppet*Vision 3D, PizzeRizzo, and Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano Muppet*Vision 3D AND PizzeRizzo closed on June 8th, and Muppets Courtyard has been walled off so construction can begin on the new Monsters, Inc. land. Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano has been closed since May 11th. Most recently, we got a look at the land as a whole, and we can see that almost all Muppets theming has been removed from the area, with the exception of the PizzeRizzo sign. ©bioreconstruct Don’t worry, the Muppets won’t be missing from Disney’s Hollywood Studios forever. The Muppets will eventually be taking over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in summer 2026. This Is the BEST Muppet*Vision 3D News (Well, Aside from the Attraction Actually Coming Back to Disney World) EPCOT Refreshment Port Refreshment Port located near the Canada Pavilion in EPCOT’s World Showcase is temporarily closed for refurbishment as of January 12th. Not so great news if you were hoping to snag a specialty poutine during the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. The Refreshment Port is closed However, there will still be plenty of yummy snacks to grab! Disney hasn’t yet announced what will be done at Refreshment Port or when the stand will reopen. However, we will keep an eye and ear out for progress and keep you updated. These Are the Shoes That Literally Everyone Is Wearing to Disney World Right Now Disney’s Animal Kingdom On February 23rd, Disney temporarily closed Rafiki’s Planet Watch and the Wildlife Express, which takes guests over to this part of the park, to make way for the new Bluey attraction coming to the park for Cool KIDS’ SUMMER. For the time being, you can still visit the Wilderness Explorer badge offerings, as well as a few character meet and greets, at the train station. The signs are covered up! Since February 2nd, it’s been official that DinoLand U.S.A. is officially closed to make way for the new Tropical Americas land, Pueblo Esperanza. Don’t get us wrong, we’re looking forward to what’s new, but especially since we just recently saw the DinoLand sign come down, we’re missing DINOSAUR and the rest of this uniquely themed land already! ©bioreconstruct This new land is expected to open sometime in 2027 with three new rides, a new restaurant, shopping spots, a beautiful fountain, and more, so we’ll be sure to keep you updated on all the latest! I’ve Flown at Least 10 Airlines to Disney World — This One Is My Favorite Every Time. Disney Springs Lime Garage The Lime Garage at Disney Springs is closed for refurbishment from January 12th through March 13th, 2026. There will be a small break in the project for President’s Day Weekend, with the garage reopening from February 11th through February 17th. However, after the busy holiday weekend, the garage will be closed again. Lime Garage Closed There are still plenty of options for parking at Disney Springs, but if you are headed there during a busy time, you might want to give yourself a bit of extra time to find parking. Guests will be able to park at Orange Garage, Grapefruit Garage, Strawberry Parking Lot, and Watermelon Parking Lot during the closure. 4 New Things That’ll Make Your Disney World Park Bag 10x Better in 2026 Blizzard Beach On February 15th, 2026, Blizzard Beach reopened in Disney World, and Typhoon Lagoon closed for refurbishment. Visiting during the summer and don’t want to worry about tons of crowds in one park? Typhoon Lagoon will reopen again on May 12th, 2026, so for the majority of the summer, we’ll have both water parks open again. Blizzard Beach Don’t Forget! A HUGE Change Hits Disney Next Month Disney World Hotels Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa This hotel has been undergoing refurbishments all over for quite some time now, but we know that sections of the hotel — specifically the porte cochere — will continue to undergo refurbishment through early 2027 at least. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa We certainly hope it’ll actually be able to hit this timeline — we’re a little tired of seeing construction all over this beautiful hotel! Bay Cove Pool Area — Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort This week, the Bay Cove Pool, the water play area, and the whirlpool spa at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will temporarily close for maintenance. From January 26th through early May 2026, the pool area will be unavailable. Disney’s Contemporary Resort During the closure, guests can still use the Bay Lake Pool, the feature pool, the water play area, and the whirlpool spa at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Leisure Pools — Disney’s Yacht Club Resort and Disney’s Beach Club Resort Disney’s Yacht Club and Disney’s Beach Club Resort are currently undergoing visible exterior maintenance. The maintenance could affect views and may require alternate routes at times. In addition, two of the resort’s leisure pools will close for routine maintenance. At Disney’s Yacht Club, the Admiral leisure be will be closed for maintenance through early May 2026. Admiral Pool At Disney’s Beach Club, the Tidal leisure pool will be closed for maintenance through early May 2026. During the construction, guests may see or hear construction work, but it will only be done during the daytime hours. Crew’s Cup Lounge — Disney’s Yacht Club Resort On February 23rd, Crew’s Cup Lounge closed for refurbishment until May 2026. Crew’s Cup Lounge While we don’t have a specific reopening date yet, we do know that when the lounge reopens, Yachtsman Steakhouse will close instead, also to go under refurbishment. Turtle Pond Pool, Turtle Pond Pool Spa, BBQ Area, and Playground — Disney’s Old Key West Resort Starting early January through early February 2026, the Turtle Pond Pool, Turtle Pond Pool Spa, the BBQ area, and the playground at Disney’s Old Key West Resort will be closed for routine maintenance. Turtle Pond Pool at Old Key West During the closure, guests can head over to the Sandcastle Pool or one of the resort’s leisure pools. There are two different leisure pools available: the South Point Pool and Miller’s Road Pool. Surfboard Bay Pool and Kiddie Pool — Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort From January 2026 through April 2026, the Surfboard Bay Pool and Kiddie Pool at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort will be closed for maintenance. Don’t worry, though, if you are in the swimming mood, you will still have plenty of options for pools. You may just need to travel a bit farther. Surfboard Bay At Disney’s All-Star Sports, the Grand Slam Leisure Pool will still be open. As well, you can also use any of the pools at the other All-Star Resorts. You can use the Calypso Pool and Piano Pool and kiddie pool at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort or the Fantasia Pool and Duck Pond Pool and kiddie pool at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort. Promenade Fine Art Gallery — Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and Resort The Promenade Fine Art Gallery will be closing its Disney’s BoardWalk location on October 20th, 2025. However, the Promenade Fine Art Gallery isn’t closing for good, and it will just be moving to a new location. Promenade Fine Art Gallery The gallery hasn’t announced yet where that new location will be, but we will keep you updated as we learn more! Jellyrolls — Disney’s BoardWalk Jellyrolls at Disney’s BoardWalk officially closed on April 19th, 2025. This entertainment venue has provided our team with countless memories, and we know many others are also sad to see it close. Jellyrolls had its final farewell performance on April 19th and closed its doors forever on Disney’s BoardWalk. Jellyrolls However, this isn’t the end for Jellyrolls, as the bar has said they are “making a move.” We don’t know many details about that move yet, but we will keep you updated. We all know there is a lot that will eventually be coming to the Magic Kingdom between Piston Peak and Villains Land! We’ve recently read reports about some big changes that are already happening with Disney World’s Villains Land, and now we have even MORE to share with you. Cinderella Castle Well, Disney just filed updated wastewater management plans for the Magic Kingdom’s massive expansion, and the updated version of the documents shows a big change. The largest building in Villains Land has just gotten even BIGGER than it appeared in previous plans that were filed weeks ago. There hasn’t been much confirmed by Disney regarding plans for the new land, but the largest building in Villains Land is believed to be a major dark ride attraction (and we mean MAJOR). Crazy enough, that major dark ride now appears even bigger in the updated plans filed with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection for “Project SNK.” Villains Land Concept Art ©Disney Take a look at the new updated plans! You’ll see the biggest building, the one in the top right corner, is thought to be the dark ride that has been getting tons of hype. ©Disney It was reported that in the original wastewater plans, filed recently in late January, the building was measured at approximately 70,000 square feet. Obvioulsy wastewater plans aren’t the most accurate representations of building sizes, especially since we haven’t gotten much word on the land. So take the sizing with a grain of salt. What is true is that within the same type of plan, it is notable that the size increased, no matter how big or small. ©Disney The building size increase does match what we learned in recent reports, which said the possible creative decorations that Villains Land is headed in. Again, nothing was officially confirmed by Disney. That being said, the report said that the Maleficent attraction is now being designed as an indoor water-based ride. A ride meant to rival the likes of Rise of the Resistance in size and complexity. So, the building’s size increase could prove to show how much they want to put into this attraction. Architecture inspiration for Villains Land was announced at D23 in 2025 We’re going to be watching news surrounding Villains Land like a hawk (or maybe we should be watching it like a raven). We can’t wait for more of this to unfold, which we’re pretty positive won’t happen until the D23 Expo in August. Still, we are beyond excited for this new land and the plans Disney may have for it. There’s a Disney World restaurant that’s quietly stealing the spotlight, and most people walk right past it. eet by Maneet Chauhan We’re always on the hunt for the best meals at Disney World, and sometimes the real winners aren’t the ones plastered all over social media. They’re tucked away in corners you didn’t even know you needed to explore. Today, we’re sharing the “secret” spot everyone should be talking about, plus a couple of honorable mentions that deserve way more hype. eet by Maneet Chauhan at Disney Springs If you’ve been sleeping on eet by Maneet Chauhan at Disney Springs, we need to change that immediately. Mango and Guava Cheesecake! This spot feels like a hidden treasure in the Marketplace area. It’s casual, colorful, and packed with bold Indian-inspired flavors that somehow feel both comforting and exciting. We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again, this place deserves to be packed every single night. The dining room setup And if you need one more reason to go, they recently added the Last Wish Cake to the dessert menu, and we ran over there the moment we heard about it. It’s a dark chocolate cake topped with toasted marshmallow, graham cracker dust, and white chocolate crispy pearls for $11.95, which makes it essentially a s’more in cake form. Last Wish Cake It’s moist, has a lava cake quality with melty chocolate throughout, and the whole thing genuinely smells like toasted marshmallow. The crispy pearls add a great crunch, and the portion is generous enough to share after a big meal. It’s a solid sweet finish to an already incredible dinner, and just one more reason this restaurant deserves to be on your list. It’s s’mores in cake form Between the craveable entrees and that cake alone, eet continues to prove it’s one of the best under-the-radar meals at Disney Springs. Click here to check out our most recent review! Amare at the Swan Reserve Amare doesn’t come up nearly enough in the Disney dining conversation, and honestly, that’s a little baffling to us. Tucked inside the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve, it draws inspiration from Mediterranean cuisine with a focus on fresh ingredients like seafood, citrus, olive oils, pastas, and pitas. Amaré The space itself is light and airy with wood accents and blue tones, and the open kitchen means you can actually watch your meal being prepared, which we love. It’s casual but upscale, and it hits that sweet spot of feeling special without being stuffy. Lots of blue tones! We recently stopped in for dinner and were blown away. The Ishkabubble Bread, which is their signature house-made pita served with three dips for $19, is an absolute must-order. It comes out the size of a basketball, it’s seasoned beautifully, and the Red Pepper Muhammara Dip alone is worth the trip. Amare’s Signature Ishkabubble Bread The Grilled Souvlaki with Angus Beef Skewers for $37 was smoky, flavorful, and came with some of the best grilled pita we’ve had on property. We also did the Journey through Greece Wine Flight for $23, and it’s a fantastic way to explore Greek varietals without committing to a full glass. Journey through Greece Wine Flight On top of all of that, the service was genuinely exceptional. If you’re looking for a relaxed but delicious sit-down meal that feels a little off the beaten path, Amare is it. Click here to check out our most recent review! Three Bridges Bar & Grill at Coronado Springs Last but absolutely not least is Three Bridges Bar & Grill at Villa del Lago over at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Three Bridges Bar & Grill Situated on a small island in the middle of the lake at Coronado Springs, the setting alone makes it worth the detour. But beyond the gorgeous water views and the solid food, there’s a seriously underrated experience happening here that we think more people need to know about: Sangria University. A lovely mix of sangria For between $69 and $79, depending on the time of year, you can spend about two hours learning the history of sangria, tasting a flight of four house-made sangrias, and then crafting your very own custom blend. The flight includes a sparkling blackberry, a tart white, a sweet rosé, and a traditional red, and your guide walks you through the surprisingly fascinating history of sangria, including its connection to the 1964-1965 World’s Fair, which Walt Disney himself had attractions at. Then you get to build your own sangria from a selection of wines, liquors, and 24 different juice options. Sangria Flight We went with white wine, triple sec, and POG juice, and it was exactly the fruity, refreshing drink we were hoping for. You’ll also get a diploma and a photo op at the end, which is a very fun touch. It’s a great experience to do solo or with a group, and it’s the kind of thing you really can’t find anywhere else on a Disney vacation. Click here to check out our most recent review! If you’re looking to level up your Disney World dining without fighting for the most obvious reservations, these are the spots to try. As always, we’ll keep bringing you the best eats across Walt Disney World, so stay tuned to DFB for more must-try recommendations. Going to Disney World in 2026?
