  2. We’re back in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom (which reopened to guests on July 11th), and we’re making our way around the park. Magic Kingdom Of course, that means starting with a stroll down Main Street, U.S.A., which also means a stroll right into the Emporium! It’s here that we spotted a couple of new hats this morning. Emporium Queue And one of the toppers features a trio of one of our favorite Magic Kingdom treats: the Mickey Donut! Mickey Donut Hat You may recall that the gigantic Mickey Celebration Donut sadly disappeared in January. BUT we have seen this snack pop up on a few pieces of merchandise ever since! (For instance, have you seen the Minnie Mouse Donut Pool Float and Mickey and Minnie Beverage Floats?) Mickey Donut Hat We keep hoping that this means the Mickey Donut itself will make a return soon… but no dice just yet! The Confectionery, though, DOES still have those Mickey Donut-inspired Frosted Cookies… The Confectionery Bakery Case … but, as tasty as those are, we’re still holding out for the real thing! Mickey Celebration Donut We’ve got one more for ya, while we’re here… Stitch Hat Stitch is giving out some life advice on this cap which recommends that you: SURF, CHILL, and REPEAT. Stitch Hat The Hawaiian print continues throughout the design of the hat which, like the Mickey Donut hat, is $27.99. Stitch Hat We’ll be keeping you posted throughout the day on all of our Magic Kingdom finds and adventures! We’ll see you back here real soon! Which new hat is your favorite? 3. With so many changes happening throughout Disney World, we’ve already explored the modifications that have been implemented at the theme park restrooms. We’ve also taken a closer look at how rider switch and Disability Access Services are operating with several new health and safety measures in place. Train Station But now it’s time to take a closer look at the Baby Care Centers that are located inside each of the Disney World theme parks to see how they’ve adapted. Let’s head inside one now and take a look around. Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios are each equipped with a Baby Care Center. These locations offer a quiet, peaceful, and private spot for moms to get in a quick diaper change, nurse, or pick up any baby necessities they might have forgotten to pack or ran out of at the parks! Baby Care Center We visited this Baby Care Center at Magic Kingdom and as you can see, it’s still well-stocked with baby formula, baby food, juice, diapers, wipes, clothing, and over-the-counter mediations for purchase. The kitchen area along with its microwave and sink are still available for guests to use. Baby Care Center The feeding area is also still open but has been divided into three sections to help guests socially distance themselves. Each designated station includes a chair and a high chair. Only three parties are permitted to use the room at one time. Baby Care Center Hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the Baby Care Center to encourage guests to sanitizer their hands often. Baby Care Center Meanwhile, the rockers in the private nursing room have also been assigned numbers and only three parties are permitted inside at one time. Baby Care Center In the changing room, most of the changing tables have been assigned a number… Baby Care Center …while some have been marked “unavailable.” Trash cans and sinks are still operational while the women’s restroom in the facility is also still open. Baby Care Center And there you have it! Feel confident you can still swing by the Baby Care Centers at each Disney World theme park anytime to get what you need, even if it’s just a moment to relax with your little one and soak up some AC! And if you need a quick break but you don’t want to trek all the way to a Baby Care Center, check out one of the nearby relaxation stations located throughout each park! 5. When we’re at Walt Disney World, we’re always focused on the best ways to get around. Grand Floridian Resort Of course, Disney transportation will get you where you need to go on property for free, but those waits can be LONG. Especially right now with social distancing limiting capacity on transport vehicles, and no monorail service at all to EPCOT. Even in the best of times, we all wish we could just stroll right into the park from our hotel, and we REALLY wish for that super short commute after a long day — when we just want to COLLAPSE in our room. Well, a few Disney World resorts actually make that possible! And this is their secret superpower! Check out these FIVE Disney World resorts that are close enough to walk to a theme park! 1. Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Bay Lake Tower Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Bay Lake Tower, the Disney Vacation Club property next door, have THE most prime location when it comes to getting to Magic Kingdom. As of right now, this is the only resort where you can head to Disney World’s flagship park on foot. Bay Lake Tower From either resort building, you can easily follow a walkway over to the Magic Kingdom. Simply cross the street near the guard shack at the gate and follow the signs and path right to the park. This walk takes around 10 minutes or less and is usually the quickest and easiest way in and out of the park. Click here for pictures of the Contemporary walking path! 2. Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and Villas Next up, we’re headed to the EPCOT resort area to take a look at the resorts within walking distance of EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. EPCOT’s World Showcase is just around the bend from the BoardWalk with a path from the International Gateway. This back entrance is just a 5-minute stroll away and gives guests PRIME access on foot to EPCOT! Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and Villas The BoardWalk is also within walking distance to Hollywood Studios, although you will be in for a slightly longer jaunt if you head that way. Follow the path along the waterway for 15-20 minutes and you’ll arrive at the park that’s home to Disney World’s two newest attractions, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. Note that the path to Hollywood Studios may be closed, so check with the front desk for details. 3. Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Villas In the same area, Disney’s Beach Club Resort and Villas also provides walking access to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. Just a stone’s throw from the International Gateway, you can walk out your door and be munching croissants in the France pavilion or fish and chips in the UK pavilion in just 10 minutes or less! Beach Club If you’re headed to Hollywood Studios, walk towards the BoardWalk then over to the walkway behind BoardWalk Villas. This 20-minute walk will have you over to Rise of the Resistance in little to no time. Check out the Beach Club’s NEW Welcome Home Cupcake! 4. Disney’s Yacht Club Resort Given that you can walk from the Beach Club to EPCOT, it’s almost as easy to walk from Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, since it’s right next door to the Beach Club. To get to EPCOT, it’s the same quick 10-minute walk along the waterway to the International Gateway. Yacht Club Resort Lobby Hollywood Studios is the same 20-minute walk along the waterway. Keep in mind this walk amounts to about one mile so you’ll be tacking that onto the steps you take IN the actual parks. 5. Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort Though the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort is not operated by Disney (the resort is owned by Marriott International), it holds prime positioning in the EPCOT resort area, making it walkable to two parks! The Swan and Dolphin connect via a bridge over to the BoardWalk. From there, you can take a pleasant 10-minute stroll right up to EPCOT’s International Gateway. Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resort The Swan and Dolphin are very close to Hollywood Studios too! To get there, head to the path that begins right behind the entrance to the BoardWalk and follow it all the way to the Hollywood Studios parking lot. This walk takes around 15 minutes. Bonus! We’ve got a few more resorts to add to this list that aren’t walkable to the theme parks (yet), but they’re still worth mentioning! Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort It might have come as a surprise to you that the Contemporary is the only monorail loop resort with a walking path over to Magic Kingdom. How is that when the other resorts on the monorail loop are so close? Well, that may not be the case for long. Though it hasn’t been officially announced, Disney appears to be working on a walkway from Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa that would connect the other two resorts to the Magic Kingdom. Walkway Construction If this walkway does come to fruition, you’ll eventually be able to walk from Grand Floridian to Magic Kingdom and, therefore, from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to Grand Floridian and then over to Magic Kingdom! Click here for the latest construction update on the walkway! Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is too far from any of the theme parks to have a walking path to them, but it IS extremely close to Disney Springs! You’ll notice signage around the resort directing guests to a walking path over to Disney Springs. Just head over to the Congress Park building and over the bridge and you’ll have access to all the shopping and dining locations at Disney Springs! Paddock Pool at Saratoga Springs And there you have it! Those are all the Disney resorts that give you the SUPERPOWER of being able to walk to and from the parks! 7. Raglan Road re-opened its dining room earlier this month along with its outdoor patio bar. Raglan Road outdoor bar reopening But more recently, the restaurant began offering its special weekend brunch menu once more, so you know we had to stop by and check it out! Is Raglan Road’s weekend brunch still a must-do? We’re giving it a shot to see how it stacks up to some of Disney Springs’ other breakfast menus! Atmosphere Raglan Road’s dining room is a little fancy (and…well…huge) by typical Irish pub standards, but not stuffy at all! It’s a bright, spacious, and inviting spot to have breakfast (or a pint Guinness)! There’s even a stage in the center of the room where you might spot Irish Dancers showcasing their talents in the evenings! Raglan Road And that’s not even the main stage! There’s a much bigger stage set up for music and dancers on one side of the main room. It just so happens the performers weren’t scheduled for the time we stopped by, but we were told by the staff performances have resumed and that live Irish music and dancing were on the books for the day after our visit. Raglan Road The restaurant has quieter, cozier dining rooms off of the main one as well. Depending on where they’re seating when you arrive, be sure to ask for your preference of location! Additional Seating On a side note, Raglan Road has some really cute dishes, too! We love these vintage-looking blue transferware dishes our server brought to our table before our food arrived. Cute Dishes! And speaking of food, it’s time to get to the very reason we came here! Menu First up, let’s check out the drink offering at brunch! Drink Menu The Brunch menu is broken into appropriately “Brunchy” and “Lunchy” stuff! The Lunchy Stuff is great if you’re not the biggest fan of eggs or pancakes and still looking for something hearty. We won’t knock eating Fish & Chips at any time of day! Raglan Road Brunch Menu For us, there were a few exciting meals under those Brunchy selections to choose from so we quickly settled on a few entrées! Click here to see what Raglan Road has slashed from its menu! Food Our meal started with Raglan Road’s Irish Brown Soda Bread with butter and their AMAZING olive oil and Guinness dipping sauce! Irish Brown Bread This is one instance where we will happily tell you to skip the butter — that Guinness reduction is straight-up addictive. It’s sweet, tangy, and bitter all in one. Sounds strange since it’s hard to describe the flavor but trust us — you’ll be going back for seconds (and thirds…and fourths…). Irish Brown Bread Our food arrived under cloches that were removed as our food was placed in front of us. Food Under Cloches First up, we ordered the Anglo Irish for $17. It’s an Eggs Benedict-style dish served with poached eggs, sliced Irish ham, and wilted spinach piled up on a brioche muffin pullman bread topped with a creamy, rich hollandaise sauce! Anglo Irish This was one of the best Eggs Benedicts we’ve ever had. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the portion size was enormous! The ham was thick and juicy, plus there was even a little sprinkling of edible flower petals over the top which made for a lovely little addition! Lots of spinach made this option taste really fresh despite all that meat and hollandaise that was loaded up on top! Anglo Irish Next, we ordered the Pork Hash Tagged for $17. This is comprised of braised pork belly, scallions, and potato hash topped with two fried eggs. Once again, the sunny-side-up eggs were cooked perfectly. We wished the potatoes had a little more seasoning since they weren’t very flavorful on their own. Pork Hash Tagged The pork, however, was PACKED with flavor. We loved how it was crispy on the edges and tender towards the center! Pork Hash Tagged And now that we’ve sufficiently STUFFED ourselves with all these tastes of Ireland, it’s time to relay our Raglan Road findings to you! Nosh or Not? Jig on over to Raglan Road if: You’re looking for a relaxing and authentically Irish start to your day Prefer breakfast items that aren’t found on every Disney World breakfast menu Cocktails and breakfast pairings are something you’re into (or aspire to have that happen more often on your Disney World vacations!) Avoid Raglan Road if: You don’t have time to enjoy a leisurely breakfast with all the things you’ve got planned at the parks (in which case, you probably WON’T be starting your day at Disney Springs) Good ol’ standard fare is your go-to Breakfast of Champions You don’t really care about alcoholic beverages since it’s way too early in the day to start thinking about that kind of stuff! Overall While you can’t go wrong with any meal at Raglan Road, there’s something extra-magical about enjoying this Celtic-inspired brunch. Maybe it’s because their food is so unique compared to Disney World’s more traditional offerings like Mickey Waffles, eggs and bacon — all of which we LOVE (don’t get us wrong!) — it’s just that sometimes you just want something a little more “Old Country” and that’s where Raglan Road never disappoints! Did we make you hungry with our weekend excursion to Raglan Road? To keep a good thing rolling, check out when Homecomin’s Rise & Shine weekend brunch will be returning here! 9. Packing for a trip to Disney World in 2020 is going to look a little different than what we’re used to! Face masks are required in theme parks, and shopping and resort areas, with the only exceptions being in your hotel room, while you’re stationary and dining, or while you are swimming. There are also several “relaxation stations” located in each theme park where you may temporarily remove your face mask. Cast Members We’ve gone over how to find comfortable masks to wear in the Florida heat as well as what it’s like to wear a mask all day in a theme park. But, just HOW MANY masks should you plan on bringing with you? We have a series of questions you need to ask yourself to find out! How many masks do you need in the parks each day? Whether or not you prefer disposable masks or cloth masks, you’re going to want to plan on bringing multiple masks to the park with you each day, so plan for AT LEAST two per person, per day. Face masks for sale at Bayview Gifts If a mask gets wet from a water ride or from RAIN (and it will likely rain, trust us!), the mask is rendered useless and you will want to swap it out for a clean, dry mask. Disposable face masks for sale at Disney’s Riviera Resort Your mask may also go missing! Like sunglasses, hats, or any of those other “loose items” Disney warns us about all the time, your mask could mysteriously vanish! Whether it somehow flies off of your face on a ride or you leave it behind at a restaurant, you will want to make sure you already have a backup in your bag, ready to go! Another major issue we’ve discovered after hours upon hours in theme parks this past week is that not all masks are created equal. And sometimes that’s a GOOD thing! Masks are like shoes — some of them can get uncomfortable after hours of wear, pulling on your ears, or sitting weird on your face. Maybe they even steam up your sunglasses and just won’t quit. So we’ve found that it’s good to have several different styles of masks available so that you can switch them out if one becomes uncomfortable. Purple Wall Mask from the DFB mask collection — click to shop! Finally, it can be really good to have a couple of masks in case you want to double up. If you’re not already using a medical grade mask, you may feel more comfortable doubling up on your masks if you’re in situations that aren’t as socially distanced as they should be for whatever reason. We tend to do this on the Disney World monorail if the two cars are full, and in enclosed spaces if they’re packed a bit too tightly for our liking. Read more about what it was like to wear a mask all day in a theme park here! How many days is your trip? The length of your trip will have a big impact on the number of masks you pack. This number may also vary depending on whether you prefer to use disposable masks or reusable cloth masks, so we’ll break down the numbers for BOTH. Disposable Masks If you are using disposable masks, you’ll want to multiply the number of masks you’ll need each day in the parks (at least two per day) by the number of days of your vacation. Disposable Face Masks So for example, if your vacation is one week long (seven days), and you bring two masks to the parks each day, then you will need to pack a minimum of fourteen disposable masks per person. If you are on a shorter trip, say three days, then you will need a minimum of six masks per person. Remember, it’s always a good idea to bring a few spares, just in case! Cloth Masks If you use cloth masks, the number that you need to pack will all depend on how often you want to wash your masks. Cloth mask for sale in Anthropologie in Disney Springs According to the CDC, you should be washing your mask after every use. This doesn’t mean you have to machine wash your masks every night; you can wash them with hot water and soap in your hotel room sink at the end of the day and let them air dry. They should dry overnight just fine! Rainbow Mickey Face Mask If you don’t think you will have time to wash masks, you’ll want to consider bringing as many masks as you can pack for optimal safety and protection. By packing this way, you are essentially treating cloth masks as “disposable” masks that you only use once per trip. This way, you would do the same math that we recommend for those using disposable masks above. Homecomin’ Face Masks If you prefer to disinfect and wash your masks EVERY night, then you COULD get away with only bringing a few masks per person — but we still recommend you bring more than you think you need per day, just in case you get back to your hotel room super late and the LAST thing you want to do is wash your masks, or they go missing, rip, etc. Also keep in mind if you’re particular about the soap you wash your mask with, you can fill a travel-sized bottle with your preferred laundry detergent from home. Otherwise, you might be scrubbing those masks in the sink with your H2O Spa Disney shampoo (which is totally fine, btw!). See what does and doesn’t qualify as a face mask in Disney World here! What if I’m traveling with young kiddos? Getting a young kid to wear a mask may be challenging, but Disney is requiring all guests above the age of 2 to wear face masks at all times. Disney Cloth Face Masks You may want to plan on bringing EXTRA extra masks for the youngest travelers in your party and let them pick their favorite mask each day as a way to help them enjoy the process. Plus — you never can truly predict when a mask-related meltdown may happen in the parks. Having extra in a variety of styles can be a lifesaver if your kiddo decides they suddenly can’t stand that style of mask on their face and want a different option. We recommend being OVERprepared here, even if it means you have a bag full of kid masks each day! There are TONS of masks out there for sale (including some cuties we whipped up!). Have fun with your young ones and have them select their favorite masks they can look forward to wearing. How can you REALLY get a 2 year-old to wear a mask in Disney World? Find out here! Are you planning on purchasing masks while you’re there? Step aside Minnie ears, Disney-branded face masks are the new ‘hot’ item for sale in the parks and resorts! Disney World DOES sell masks in multiple locations, including the Marketplace Co-Op in Disney Springs as well as the resort gift shops, and gift shops around the theme parks. Disney Face Masks in Magic Kingdom If you have your heart set on purchasing Disney masks while on vacation, the gift shops SHOULD be well-stocked when you arrive. We haven’t really seen Disney’s masks fly off the shelves yet (with the one exception being the first time they went on sale in Disney Springs). Order Form If you are planning on purchasing masks, you COULD pack FEWER masks with the expectation of getting more once there. We still recommend you pack enough masks so you aren’t stuck washing your cloth masks every day (meaning at LEAST one per person, per day). Also, while face masks have been well-stocked, we wouldn’t assume this will always be the case, so plan ahead! Note that Disney’s face masks do run very SMALL. Adults will definitely need a size large mask. Most kids can do mediums. The “small” masks are definitely toddler or infant size. Still looking for more masks to shop for? Check out our very own DFB face masks! So, just HOW many masks do you need to pack? Plan on packing enough cloth masks so you can go at least two days without having to wash them, so at least 4-5 masks per person. You can certainly pack more so that you NEVER have to wash them while on vacation, but we recommend you don’t bring only one mask. We also recommend bringing more than one style, and testing them out before you leave! And always, always, ALWAYS have at least one spare mask with you in the parks each day! Pack more than you think you’ll need, and you shouldn’t have to worry. 10. Yes, you absolutely read that title right! We’re talking about bathrooms. Restrooms. Loos. Potties. Restrooms Although you might encounter some lines every so often (it is Disney, after all), there are still spots around the parks that are both quiet AND wonderfully Imagineered! We feel it’s our duty to get down and dirty and share the secrets of the BEST bathrooms in Disney World. We’re here to tell you some of the restrooms you’ll want to write down in your plans since they are convenient, quiet, and themed with some extra Disney magic! So, let’s get restroom-hopping (is that a thing now??). Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort Restrooms Whether you’re staying at the resort or you’re leaving Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa has some wonderful bathrooms in its lobbies. They’re VERY clean (and totally fancy), and you’ll feel pretty classy visiting these restrooms. There are pristine white walls and granite countertops featured, including a giant mirror in the corner to fix your outfit or hair so you’re not in the way of other people. Grand Floridian Resort Plus, if you’re hopping on the Monorail and realize you REALLY need to go (subtweet directing at your kiddos), it’s a great place to stop before heading back to the Transportation and Ticket Center. Although it’s a few extra stops along the way, the Monorail connects directly to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort for easy access. Grand Floridian Lobby After you’ve gone into the restroom, you can also take the resort monorail back to the Transportation and Ticket Center to go to Epcot or Magic Kingdom. Or, you can hop on a bus to another park! Take a look at the best and worst resorts you can stay at in 2020 here! Tangled Toilets If you thought the lantern scene was beautiful in Tangled (We cry every time), just WAIT until you see the Tangled Toilets in the Magic Kingdom! If you head towards the Northwest corner of Fantasyland past Peter Pan’s Flight and “it’s a small world,” you can’t miss the gorgeous Tangled restrooms. Tangled Restrooms All around the courtyard, you can find different references to the movie with the lanterns that light up at night, hidden Pascals in the greenery, Maximus’s hooves in the pavement, and the wanted posters (they just can’t get Flynn’s nose right, can they?). Just beyond the restrooms, you can also find Rapunzel’s tower with water bubbling all around it. However, Rapunzel won’t let down her hair, even if you call to her. Tangled Lanterns The entire outside of the restroom is hand-painted with tons of Rapunzel’s artwork, but the inside spares no details either. Rapunzel has used her artistic talents to cover the ceilings, walls, and the rest of the restrooms in works of art. There are even a few hidden things if you pay close attention! The men’s restroom features frying pans hanging on the walls, while the women’s restroom has Rapunzel’s paint brushes and palettes on a shelf. Tangled Restrooms Right outside, you’ll also find USB ports in the tree stumps to charge your phones or devices as you wait for your party members. USB Port While the Tangled restrooms are a quick spot to use in Fantasyland before heading under the bridge into Liberty Square (and Haunted Mansion JUST around the corner!), they’re also an awesome photo location to just hang out (and could be one of the Disney World’s famous selfie walls). Check out the BIGGEST opportunities that Disney missed out on with the parks here! NEW Epcot Restrooms These restrooms are a LOT newer (like within the past year) and situated right in between the World Showcase and Future World. Many guests in the past have complained that there weren’t nearly enough restrooms in the World Showcase area, so it’s a great central location for everyone. New Restrooms in Epcot Plus, they’re pretty big so you won’t have to wait in too hefty of a line (usually). There are even water fountains and water bottle refilling stations right outside the restrooms so you can hydrate on the go! Buuut, if you’re feeling in the mood for some coffee, the new Starbucks is next door too! Water Bottle Station and Water Fountain So, that means you can drink as many Frappuccinos as you want without worrying about being too far away from a restroom! Take a full tour of the new Epcot restrooms here! American Adventure Restrooms Okay, Disney fans have been SLEEPING on these restrooms! There are two sets of restrooms in Epcot’s American Adventure Pavilion that most people don’t know about. American Adventure All the way to the left, you can find some the old restrooms that are pretty hidden away, but then a newer set of restrooms is all the way over to your right if you’re looking directly at the pavilion. They’re HUGE, usually really clean, and the tile inside is lovely. Overall, they’re an awesome place to stop before heading inside the American Adventure Pavilion to cool off in the air conditioning. American Adventure Restrooms These are our go-to potties in World Showcase! Go on a tour of the Art of Disney in the American Adventure Pavilion here! Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge “Refreshers” You won’t find any restrooms in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Instead, you’ll find “refreshers,” whose name implies how quickly you can visit and leave to enjoy the rest of the Black Spire Outpost. While they may not be fancy (we’re in the Outer Rim after all), the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge restrooms are centrally located throughout the area so you don’t have to go search for one or leave Batuu to find a place to “go.” Refreshers There’s a large double-sided sink in the middle of the restroom, so multiple people can wash their hands at once without having to wait super long in line. There are also hand dryers instead of paper towels, so it’s pretty contactless for the most part. Plus, just outside one of the restrooms, you can go to the water fountain and spot the Dionaga pop up to say hello. Regular water fountains? It’s worth the wait! Take a look at our ULTIMATE guide to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge here! Hollywood Brown Derby Restrooms Although we’re usually heading to the Hollywood Brown Derby for a Cobb Salad or Grapefruit Cake, there’s also a very nice restroom off to the side of the entrance. It uses a lot of the 1930s theming of the restaurant with the black and white checkered tile on the floors and walls. It’s super clean, so you kind of feel like a Hollywood star when you visit. Hollywood Brown Derby Restrooms You can also listen to the great music they play in the restaurant while you’re in there so it’s quite relaxing. The Hollywood Brown Derby restrooms also don’t get horribly crowded since the only guests using them most of the time are the people dining there. And, maybe the best part of all, you can actually have fun in the restrooms (shocker) looking at all the caricatures! Caricatures Can you spot the not-so hidden Mickey?? Do you know all these facts about Hollywood Studios? Victoria and Albert’s Restrooms If you can think of the fanciest restroom you’ve ever seen, multiply that by three and you’ve got Victoria and Albert’s restrooms! Since the restaurant at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort is one of the most expensive places to eat in Disney World (it is AAA 5 diamond-rated though), it’s no surprise that the restroom is so fancy. Main Dining Room at Victoria & Albert’s Your server will even escort you to the restrooms if you ask where they’re located. Honestly, you’ll just feel like royalty while you wine and dine at Victoria and Albert’s because the restrooms are just that great too. You need a pricey reservation here to experience these potties, but they’re well worth it! You should see these insanely expensive things you can do in Disney World! Toy Story Land Restrooms Toy Story Land happens to have one of the most vibrant and colorful bathrooms in all of Disney World (go figure!). The outside has a super fun theme with building blocks and Scrabble pieces that “construct” the restrooms. There’s even a Cooties game box to the side to signal that you need to wash the “cooties” off when you’re in the restrooms (way too cute). Toy Story Land Restrooms And, the restrooms on the inside are just as colorful as the outside! It’s like you’ve almost walked into a kaleidoscope with all the primary colors used for the stalls and the black and red tiles (which are a nod to checkers and tinker toys, since the land is based on toys and games). Toy Story Land Restrooms There are also crayon tiles on the walls to really make you feel like you’re stepping into your childhood. You’ll definitely get a high score on Toy Story Mania if you use these ride hacks! Norway’s Frozen Restrooms Most people don’t realize that Epcot’s Norway Pavilion does indeed have a restroom. Buuut, it’s at the very back so it’s not super visible unless you’re on the hunt for it. If you walk past the Anna and Elsa’s Royal Sommerhus meet-and-greet and the Wandering Reindeer gift shop, you’ll find the Frozen restrooms! Royal Sommerhus They’re honestly so beautifully themed, you forget they’re restrooms for a second. They fit right into the Arendelle aesthetic with Elsa’s signature blue color and Kristoff’s icy sleighs as the doors. The tile is made to look like wood, so you feel super cozy and warm like you’re back at home in Norway. Norway Pavilion Restrooms The outside even has the characters on the men and women’s signs dressed in authentic Norwegian outfits to boost that extra bit of authenticity. Norway Pavilion Restrooms The Frozen restrooms are in a great location too, since they’re around the corner from Frozen Ever After and the Kringla Bakeri og Kafe bakery. Learn the secrets of some of the most high-tech Disney World attractions here! Honorable Mention: Cinderella Castle Suite Restroom The restroom to top all other restrooms — the Cinderella Castle Suite restroom blows these others out of the water since you’re literally in a castle. It has everything a Disney Princess could dream of, like marble, granite, curved arches, curtains, stained glass, and SO much more. Cinderella Castle Suite ©Disney The restroom also has arguably the most gorgeous bathtub in the world with mosaics of the castle and surrounding nature with a STARRY NIGHT above your head. Pinch us, we must be dreaming!! And, at the opposite end of the restroom, there’s also a sit-down vanity area to get yourself ready for a ball (or day in the parks). ©Disney Really, the Cinderella Castle Suite’s restroom is the ultimate Disney fan’s dream… if you’re lucky enough to experience it, that is! These are the COOLEST hotel rooms around Disney World that you’ll want to stay in! While there are SO many more awesome restrooms around the parks, we really love visiting the places on this list because of their creativity and convenience! Instead of just a snack crawl, maybe you can try to visit all the awesome restrooms around the parks too the next time you’re in Disney World! ;D Want to see more restrooms?? 15. It’s been quite the past few weeks as we’ve headed back to Disney World to check out all the Character Cavalcades, reopened restaurants in the parks, and what the crowds have looked like during the reopenings! Spaceship Earth The Disney Parks have also reopened with new health and safety guidelines. Along with temperature checks and distancing measures, Disney World is also putting mask requirements in place for guests and Cast Members. Often times, new procedures are modified or changed. Disney has recently added the rule that guests have to be stationary and physically distanced to eat or drink. While everyone has been able to snack on a Mickey Bar or sip on a soda walking around the park before, they’ll need to stop somewhere away from people or sit down currently. Face Covering Signs Although the new face covering rule has only gone into place recently, EPCOT already had signs around the park with the latest update to the guidelines. Face Covering Signs When we were dining at a restaurant in EPCOT today and asked for a water to-go, a Cast Member gladly gave us a water cup but let us know that guests needed to stop in order to drink. Face Covering Signs Although we’ve only seen the signs in EPCOT, we can probably expect to see these signs start to pop up around the rest of the parks. As we go back to other spots around Disney World, we’ll keep you updated with more details on changes to health and safety regulations! Read more about the updated face covering requirement here. 23. Each year, together with our colleagues at zoos and aquariums around the world, we celebrate the work of animal care experts who spend their lives caring for wild life and wild places. This week, we’re celebrating the efforts of our incredible team of animal keepers, aquarists and water scientists, ranch hands, all of our veterinary team members and scientists, nutritionists, behaviorists and leaders. These cast members hail from all over the world and bring a range of different skills and talents together to care for the thousands of animals who call our parks and resorts home. They’re not only dedicated to the animals in our care but they’re also some of the most passionate conservationists I know. I am so proud to lead this team of dedicated, talented cast. Our company’s passion for animals and conservation dates back to Walt Disney himself, who created the True-Life Adventures film series to take audiences into the lives of animals that they may never see personally. We’re so honored to carry on that legacy and continue to share the importance of living in harmony with nature and working to protect the wonderous animals on our planet. Caring for animals is a 24/7, 365 days a year, responsibility, and our teams work diligently to keep the well-being of each animal their number one priority. Ever wonder what it takes to prepare a diet for an elephant? Or train a tiger to participate in its own healthcare? We’re so excited that soon, you’ll get a peek behind-the-scenes as the stories of these animal care experts and the animals they care for come to life in “The Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom,” streaming this fall on Disney+. From National Geographic, the global leader in natural-history programming, and premiering on Disney+, this new series will give viewers a one-of-a-kind look into the daily operation of our advanced animal care and veterinary facilities at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and The Seas with Nemo & Friends at EPCOT and will showcase the dedication and expertise of our amazing cast members. Can’t wait to learn more? Follow along on social media as we give you a look at the many roles within animal care and show that no matter if they are performing a medical procedure, cleaning a barn or diving into the aquarium at The Seas, our cast members’ passion and dedication to their craft remains constant. Follow me on Instagram @DrMarkatDisney and check out the Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment Facebook page to join in on the fun. View the full article
