If you’ve been sleeping on MagicBand+, now is genuinely the worst time to keep doing that. MagicBand+ Disney has been quietly dropping some of its most exciting wearable designs in recent months, and a handful of them are already sitting in that dangerous territory between “still available” and “completely gone forever.” Whether you’re heading to the parks soon or just want to make sure your collection stays current, these four designs are worth grabbing before the rest of the internet catches on. DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. Calling All Zootopia Fans! ©Disney Picking a MagicBand can feel overwhelming when everything starts to blend together on the rack. If you want something that stands out without feeling overly loud, a character-driven design with a fresh color palette makes a big difference. The Zootopia MagicBand+ hits that sweet spot. With Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde featured on a pastel strap and the “Where anyone can be anything” motto on the tappable icon, it feels playful without being over the top. Plus, like all MagicBand+ options, it reacts to park interactions with lighting effects and gesture recognition, which adds a fun extra layer to your day in the parks. Take a look at it before your next park day. view ON Disney store To Infinity and Beyond! ©Disney Limited-release items at Disney World have a habit of vanishing quickly, especially when they celebrate something as big as a milestone anniversary. Waiting until you arrive can mean missing out entirely. This Toy Story 30th Anniversary MagicBand+ is exactly the kind of collectible fans rush for. It features Woody, Buzz, Bo Peep, and even the Green Army Men on a festive plaid strap, along with a “30 Years” Alien icon. It is both a functional park tool and a keepsake tied to a major Disney Pixar celebration, which is why demand is so high. If you want to secure one ahead of time, you can grab it here. view ON disney store You’ll be Painting all the Colors of the Wind ©Disney Anniversary designs are always popular, but some films don’t get as much merchandise love, which makes those items even more sought after when they finally arrive. That scarcity can catch fans off guard. The Pocahontas 30th Anniversary MagicBand+ leans into that. The strap features Pocahontas alongside anniversary branding, while the tappable icon uses a compass design that feels true to the story. It is subtle, elegant, and a meaningful nod to a film that does not always get the spotlight. Add in the interactive MagicBand+ features, and you have something that feels both personal and practical. You might want to check availability before your trip right here. view ON disney store Dig a bit Deeper for this One ©Disney With Tiana’s presence continuing to grow in the parks, themed merchandise tied to her story is getting harder to keep in stock. Guests are actively looking for ways to match their park outfits or celebrate her story during their visit. This Tiana MagicBand+ is perfect for that. The design highlights Tiana and her restaurant, Tiana’s Palace, with a water lily icon that ties everything together. It feels polished and cohesive, and like the others, it lights up and reacts during select park moments. It is a great pick if you want something that feels both stylish and connected to what you will experience in the parks. You can check it out here before it’s gone. view ON disney store MagicBand+ designs are more than just accessories. They are part of how you experience the parks, and the best ones double as souvenirs you will actually want to keep. Spread throughout Disney World, you’ll find a wide variety of little snack stands. Peevy’s Polar Pipeline There are dozens upon dozens of these spots, and sometimes they house hidden gems, like a fan favorite snack or a unique beverage. One such snack stand is Peevy’s Polar Pipeline in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. You’ve probably walked right past it on prior visits, but we recently stopped by to give it a review! The menu here is fairly limited, with a few different slush options, as well as some alcoholic versions. You can also buy bottled drinks and ice cream novelties. Menu We started out with the Minute Maid Lemonade for $6.29, which is served frozen in a cup. This was surprisingly light and had a very moderate lemon flavor. Minute Maid Lemonade The lemon isn’t particularly strong, so you might miss some of the signature tartness of regular lemonade. The texture is very ICEE-like, making it almost fluffy so that it melts easily when you’re outside on a warm day. The paper straw we were given wasn’t great for consuming this treat, so we’d recommend bringing a reusable one. Refreshing! Our other item of choice was a Mickey Ice Cream Sandwich for $6.29. This is your classic chocolate Mickey-shaped sandwich filled with cookies and cream ice cream. Mickey Ice Cream Sandwich Like usual, the cookies were soft and easy to eat while the ice cream itself was smooth and creamy. Delicious cookies and cream flavor — honestly, this is an unsung hero of the Disney World snack carts, and we think it deserves more hype! YUM So, should you visit Peevy’s Polar Pipeline? This is a great spot to stop if you need something cold to help you chill out on a hot day or if you’re particularly interested in their alcoholic slushy options. It’s not usually too busy because it’s tucked away in Echo Lake, so it’s a decent snack stop. For more snack reviews and Disney World updates, subscribe to our newsletter and our YouTube channel. Over at all three of Universal Orlando‘s parks, you’ll find a section dedicated to Harry Potter. Inside those spots, you’ll find butterbeer and butterbeer snacks galore — there are often so many, it’s a little hard to pick what to get! Butterbeer Shortbread Bar Now, this gets easier if you’re often visiting the parks, or going on a longer trip, since you can often try more of the treats. Even then, though, we think it’s important that you know which ones are at the high of your list. The last thing you want is to spend money on a treat you don’t end up liking! That’s why, when we heard that there was a new Butterbeer shortbread treat in Universal Studios, we knew we had to go try it out ASAP. You’ll find the Butterbeer Shortbread Bar for $8 at Sugarplum’s Sweet Shop in Diagon Alley in Universal Studios. This treat was introduced for Butterbeer Season across Universal Orlando, which takes place from March 1st through May 31st — yes, that means that you’ve only got about two more months to grab this treat, unless Universal decides to keep it around. Sugarplum’s Sweet Shop in Diagon Alley This bar is definitely pretty greasy and buttery, but for good reason! The main flavor here comes from the salted caramel in between the shortbread, but thanks to the salt in there, it’s not overly sweet, even when combined with the shortbread. However, that does mean that the flavor here is more salted caramel and a slight butterscotch flavor rather than Butterbeer itself. It didn’t bother us too much, but if you’re specifically looking for Butterbeer flavor, you may be a little disappointed. Butterbeer Shortbread Bar The chocolate drizzle on top really brings it all together, but we do warn you that the Butterbeer fondant piece on top is really just for show, as it’s fondant. Yes, you can eat it, but it’s not the best tasting! It was soft to bite into and a little flaky, but not overly so, making it a great walking-around treat. We’re big fans! If you’re a big fan of the Caramel Butter Bar at Karamell-Küche in EPCOT, you’ll likely like this a lot, especially because it’s less greasy! We think both of the treats are both solid, so we wouldn’t put one over the other, unless that grease factor is a big deal for you. Caramel Butter Bar Looking for more recent reviews? When it comes to great dining, we once might have suggested that you don’t miss Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom. Of course, that was back before it was a pre-fixe menu for both lunch and dinner (and we really miss what lunch used to be like there). Dessert at Be Our Guest Now, we’re not as much fans of this restaurant as we once were, although if you want to see inside Beast’s castle, you HAVE to dine here. The truth is, we haven’t always felt like the high cost of the meal is worth the experience to do that. Well, we recently revisited Be Our Guest Restaurant to see if our minds could be changed. So let’s find out! Atmosphere As we mentioned, this is the only way to get inside Beast’s castle. The restaurant serves French-inspired food and drinks in a setting straight out of the Beauty and the Beast film. Let’s eat in Beast’s castle Once inside, you’ll be taken to one of three themed dining rooms: The Grand Ballroom, The West Wing, or The Rose Gallery. Each room has a beautiful design that you’ll want to explore each to find all the hidden Beauty and the Beast details. Be sure to explore for details You’ll even get to see Beast’s enchanted rose! The enchanted rose Oh, and did we mention that Beast will put in an appearance just to say hello from time to time? The Beast at Be Our Guest Restaurant But enough about the restaurant — what’s on the menu here?! Menu Be Our Guest offers a prix fixe menu for both lunch and dinner that costs $72 per adult and $43 per child. Adults get one appetizer, one entree, and one dessert, while kids get to choose one appetizer, one entree with two sides, and one dessert. Let’s look at the adults’ menu. Current appetizers include soups, like Blue Crab Bisque and French Onion soup. Appetizers Entrees include French classics like Steak Frites, Filet Mignon, and more. Entrees You can also add enhancements to your meal for an additional cost, like bacon, shrimp, and fondue. Desserts include a Blooming Rose, a Creme Brulee Tart, and a plant-based version of the Grey Stuff. Enhancements and dessert To drink, you can order a variety of specialty cocktails… Specialty Cocktails …champagne, beer, wine… Champagne, beer, and wine …and specialty non-alcoholic drinks. Non-alcoholic drinks And now, onto the main event — the food! Drinks To drink, we picked up The Handsome Brute, which has to be Gaston-coded, right? For $17.50, you get a cocktail made with Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Chambord Liqueur, Pomegranate Juice, and Lemon Juice, garnished with a Sugared Rim and Raspberries. Unlike Gaston, this drink is very balanced. You get a wonderful raspberry flavor that pairs well with the vodka. The pomegranate and lemon juices add a nice level of tartness. The Handsome Brute The sugar on the rim adds a nice sweetness. We also like that the rim is only half-sugared, so you can choose how you want to take each sip. A handsome brute, indeed. Eats For our appetizer, we chose the French Onion Soup au Gratin, made with a Rich Beef Broth, Sherry Wine, and Swiss Cheese. We almost ALWAYS get this appetizer because it’s just basically LAYER AFTER LAYER OF CHEESE, and you know how we feel about cheese. French onion soup au gratin The soup is hot and bubbling when it arrives, and the flavors just mesh so well together: the onion-y broth, the cheese, and the hint of acidity from the wine. If you love cheese as much as we do, this is the ONLY appetizer you need to order. LOOK at that cheese pull For our entrée, we chose the Dry-Aged Duroc Pork Chop, which is not our usual order here. It’s served with Garlic Confit Mashed Potatoes, Root Vegetables, and Whole-Grain Mustard Sauce. So we’ll admit that this surprised us! We ended up with a perfectly cooked pork chop and smooth and creamy mashed potatoes with just the right amount of garlic. The root vegetables added a nice balance, and we loved getting that onion flavor from the leeks. Dry-Aged Duroc Pork Chop The star of the show (or should we say the BELLE of the ball?) is the mustard sauce, though. It’s creamy with just enough mustard to add flavor when dipping the pork chop into it. We also dipped some leftover bread from the bread service in the sauce because we weren’t going to leave ANY of it behind. That sauce, though For dessert, we chose the Crème Brûlée Tart, made with orange custard, passion fruit meringue, and chantilly cream. Well, this is where the meal fell apart. At the time, this had replaced the Dessert Trio, and it just does NOT compare. The cream in the tart was not set properly, and it was goopy. There is a nice citrus taste to it, and we have to say the crust and meringue are tasty. But this one is a nope from us. Creme Brulee Tart The good news is that this was actually recently replaced again since we visited Be Our Guest. The Dessert Trio is back on the menu, and we believe it’s a much better choice. Dessert Trio at Be Our Guest (2024) Nosh or Not This Disney World restaurant is a must-visit if… Want the BEST in Disney theming when you dine. This restaurant makes you feel like you’ve stepped right into the story of Beauty and the Beast. Every little detail is meant to bring back the vibes of the movie, and you’ll feel like Belle is going to pop up at any time and start singing. The themed rooms are epic in different ways. This is Disney theming at its finest. You’ve got kids in your group or just HUGE Beauty and the Beast fans. Kids are going to LOVE this restaurant because of the theming and the ability to see the enchanted rose from the movie. You can even order the Grey Stuff for dessert, and Beast comes out to greet you. If you want to impress your family and make them feel like royalty, this is where to do it. You want French Onion Soup. If you’ve been thinking about French Onion Soup with gobs of cheese on top, this is where you need to be. Maybe the rest of the menu isn’t always consistent, but the French Onion Soup here will never let you down, and it’s one of the few places in Disney World you can get it. You should skip this Disney World spot if… Want photos with Belle and Beast. You won’t find Belle here…like at all. And although you will see Beast, this is not a meet and greet type of situation. He’ll pop into the dining room during your meal, but you can’t get personal photos with him or any of the other characters from Beauty and the Beast. Don’t like Prix Fixe meals. This restaurant is pricey, and yes, you get three courses, but honestly, it’s a lot of food, and you’re locked down into ordering all three courses. That means you probably won’t eat all of what you’re served, so you can still have some room by the time dessert arrives. That also means that this meal will take time out of what might already be a busy Magic Kingdom day. You want a 5-star meal. If you’re expecting this to be Michelin-star type dining, well, it’s not. Now, we’re not saying this is the worst restaurant in Disney World, but at the same time, it certainly isn’t the best either. This is not fine dining, regardless of how the atmosphere says it is. We’ve found that the food can be inconsistent here, so save your money for something a little more fine dining. Overall Be Our Guest might seem like a special restaurant, but the food isn’t always consistent with the atmosphere. And although you do get to see Beast here, you don’t get a chance to have a meet-and-greet opportunity with him to take photos. The food here isn’t always consistent, although we will always order the French Onion Soup for as long as it’s on the menu. This is an experience, especially at $72 per person, but you’ll have to decide if the experience is worth it, especially as it will take time out of your Magic Kingdom day. In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for more restaurant updates from Disney World and beyond. Make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest Disney news and more! There are a lot of things that can unravel a Disney World day with shocking speed. A missed Lightning Lane. A hangry child. A grown adult who suddenly realizes they’ve been standing in direct Florida sun for four straight hours dressed like they’re auditioning for “Cute Mom at EPCOT.” But one of the sneakiest vacation villains of all? Sunscreen drama. ©Disney Because in theory, sunscreen is simple. In reality, it is an Olympic event. Especially if you are trying to apply it to a squirming toddler who has chosen this exact moment to discover free will, upper-body strength, and the ability to vanish from a stroller like a tiny caffeinated magician. DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. And that’s before you add in the rest of the Disney vacation chaos. Everybody’s hot. Everybody’s sticky. Somebody is crying because their Mickey bar broke. Somebody else is crying because the first person is crying. You are desperately trying to prevent sunburn and long-term skin damage while your child is attempting a prison break toward the nearest popcorn cart. So yes, I never thought I’d become the kind of person who gets genuinely emotional over a better sunscreen setup. And yet, here we are. Because these three products? They made my Disney park bag so much smarter, my reapplication routine so much easier, and my overall day approximately ten times less feral. Solar Buddies Sunscreen Applicator The Solar Buddies Sunscreen Applicator is for parents who are one minor inconvenience away from a villain monologue. Let’s start with the one that feels the most delightfully extra until you use it once and suddenly become its unpaid publicist. Solar Buddies Sunscreen Applicator The Solar Buddies Sunscreen Applicator is a refillable applicator designed to make sunscreen less messy and easier for kids to use on their own. It’s child-friendly, refillable, mess-free, and holds 100 mL, which is about 3.4 fluid ounces, making it a travel-friendly size for tossing in a park bag. And that, my friends, is where the magic lives. Because traditional sunscreen application with kids often looks like this: you squeeze too much into your palm, your child recoils like you’re holding molten lava, half of it ends up on the stroller buckle, and now everyone is greasy and furious. Solar Buddies takes that whole sticky little circus and calms it down. The roller and sponge design helps spread sunscreen without turning your hands into an oil slick, and it also gives older kids a little independence, which can be huge when they’re in that “I DO IT” phase of life. Solar Buddies Sunscreen Applicator Honestly, this feels like the kind of thing you buy thinking, “This is probably unnecessary,” and then halfway through your Magic Kingdom day, you’re clutching it like it personally saved your family vacation. This is especially great for body sunscreen touch-ups when you do not have the emotional bandwidth for a full sunscreen wrestling match in the middle of Fantasyland. view ON AMAZON Pipette Baby Mineral Sunscreen Stick The Pipette Baby Mineral Sunscreen Stick is the sensitive-skin MVP. Now let’s talk about the product that says, “I came prepared for cheeks, noses, ears, and all the other little spots that somehow get missed until it is too late.” The Pipette Baby Mineral Sunscreen Stick SPF 50 is made with 100% mineral, non-nano zinc oxide, offers broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection, is water-resistant, and comes in a portable, twist-up stick format that the brand pitches as mess-free and easy for face and body. Pipette also positions it as baby-safe and suitable for sensitive skin. ©Amazon And if you’ve ever had a kid scream because sunscreen got too close to their eyes, you already understand why a stick format can feel like a gift from the heavens. This is the one I’d keep within immediate reach for the high-risk zones: noses, cheeks, ears, shoulders, and that one random strip of forehead your hat somehow didn’t cover. It’s compact, easy to swipe on, and a lot less chaotic than trying to do a delicate face sunscreen application with lotion while your child is twisting like a cat being lowered into a bathtub. Pipette Mineral Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 50 Also, mineral sunscreen tends to be a popular choice for families with sensitive skin, so for a lot of parents, this kind of product just makes logistical sense. It’s not glamorous. It’s not flashy. It’s just one of those very satisfying practical items that makes you feel like you deserve a tiny medal and maybe an iced coffee. view ON AMAZON Shiseido Clear Sunscreen Stick The Shiseido Clear Sunscreen Stick is for the adult who wants to reapply without looking like a grease puff. Now for the grown-up park bag hero. The Shiseido Clear Sunscreen Stick SPF 50+ is a clear, broad-spectrum sunscreen stick that the brand says can be reapplied anytime, anywhere, over or under makeup, with a lightweight and invisible finish for all skin types. That “over or under makeup” part is what makes this one so good for Disney days. Because adults need sunscreen reapplication too, but there is a very specific form of suffering that occurs when you’ve finally achieved a decent park face, maybe even a little concealer, maybe even a brave summer brow, and now it’s 1:30 PM and you know you absolutely should reapply sunscreen but you also don’t want to smear your whole face into a humid little tragedy. This is where a clear sunscreen stick earns its keep. ©Amazon It’s quick. It’s portable. It doesn’t require you to dump lotion into your palm in the middle of a queue while juggling a phone, a resort refill mug, and the vague remains of your dignity. For the adult in the family who wants easy face reapplication without a whole skincare reset, this is the one that makes the most sense. It’s also the kind of product that feels a little fancy in your park bag, which I support fully. Disney World is a place where we will spend twenty minutes debating mobile order windows for chicken nuggets. You are allowed one elegant sunscreen moment. view ON AMAZON Why These Actually Matter in Disney World Here’s the thing: a Disney World day is long. Like, suspiciously long. You can start in the parks bright-eyed and optimistic, and by midafternoon, you’re sweaty, overstimulated, slightly sunblasted, and wondering whether your family has always made this much noise. That is exactly why sunscreen products that are easy to reapply matter so much. Tree of Life Sunscreen is not the thing you slap on once in the hotel room at 7:15 AM and then emotionally hope for the best. If you’re spending all day in the parks, you need a reapplication plan. And the easier that plan is, the more likely it is to happen without a family mutiny. That’s what these products do well. They take sunscreen from “Ugh, we have to deal with this again?” to “Okay, fine, we can handle this in under two minutes.” That is not a small win on vacation. That is operational excellence. We’re always on the hunt for the latest and greatest Disney souvenirs and essentials, so don’t forget to stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for more! View the full article

Okay, it’s time to talk about pizza in Disney World. Now, you know, we’re not always big fans of the pizza you can find in the parks…let’s just say it doesn’t really impress us. But there are still places to get great pizza…if you know where to look. This is great pizza, y’all Obviously, one of our favorite spots is Via Napoli in EPCOT, but what if you’re craving pizza in Disney’s Hollywood Studios? It’s not like you can go to PizzeRizzo anymore, right? Well, we found great pizza hiding in an unexpected spot: BaseLine Taphouse. That’s right, you can now get pizza…or rather…flatbread…over at BaseLine Tap House. Introducing the Pepperoni Flatbread for $17. This flatbread has mozzarella and pepperoni with red sauce, and is topped with ricotta and hot honey. So it’s a little EXTRA, and we are here for it. First, let’s talk about the crust. It has a soft, bready texture that’s SO nice to chew. Then you’ve got the pepperoni and mozzarella layers, which are pretty standard. Pepperoni Flatbread What really knocks this pizza out of the park, though, are the big lumps of ricotta on top, which cool down the hot honey flavor. Okay, so let’s talk more about the hot honey. It’s not a lot, but just enough to give each bite a hint of sweetness and spiciness. We will say this is a smaller flatbread with 6 small pieces, but it would pair beautifully with any of the lighter beers and ciders you can get at this restaurant. Lots of great flavor We do have a word of warning, though. Each flatbread is made to order (they’re super fresh), so you may have to wait a bit after you order it before it’s ready to be picked up. But it’s totally worth it. If you’re craving pizza in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you’ll want to give it a try. In the meantime, we’ll keep trying all the new foods and drinks in Disney World, so stay tuned to DFB for more reviews. Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is known for many things, but two of the most prominently talked about are the vibes and overall theme of the resort, as well as the different dining options available. It’s time to eat! However, when people talk about this hotel and the dining spots you’ll find there, they often rave about ‘Ohana or Tambu Lounge, and while we’re not saying those places don’t deserve the praise, there’s also another spot that’s much easier to get reservations for, and it’s right near by — here’s why we don’t think you should forget about Kona Cafe, especially with these new menu items! Kona Cafe is located inside the main lobby of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort on the second level (which you’ll enter on if you come from the Monorail). It’s right in the middle of all the action, and while it is a table service restaurant, which means reservations are required, they’re often not as popular as others, so you can usually find one available, or you can check the walk-up waitlist. Kona Cafe We heard there were new menu items to try out here, so we grabbed a reservation ASAP. We started out with the complimentary Bread Service that’s brought to every table, which is four fluffy bread rolls served with a slab of butter. The bread wasn’t anything to write home about, but the rolls were soft, and while we felt the pineapple flavoring in them wasn’t made equally — some had more pineapple flavor than others — it was still a slight taste we enjoyed, so we have no complaints! Bread Service The first new menu item we took a bite of was the Dynamite Roll for $26, which is Hamachi, Salmon, Asparagus, Carrot, Yuzo Kosho, and Wasabi Sauce. The fishy taste of the salmon was pretty strong, so you’ve gotta be a fan of sushi to enjoy this. There wasn’t any spice to this roll, and while we did enjoy the crunch of the vegetables, we don’t think it affected the flavor too much. The soy sauce didn’t add a ton of flavor either, even though we added more than we normally would, so overall, it was solid, but we wouldn’t make a trip here just to try it. Dynamite Roll Next up was the Mirin-Teriyaki Burger for $25, which is Pressed Patties, Seared Pork Belly, Pineapple, and Provolone served with French Fries or Purple Potato Salad. Mirin-Teriyaki Burger This was SUPER filling, and we loved the mix of sweet and savory flavors. The pineapple especially adds some tangy flavors with the teriyaki sauce, which blends beautifully. The bun itself was slightly toasted, which we loved, and while the patties weren’t soft enough to melt in your mouth, they were far from tough. We’d totally get this one again! We loved the flavors! Finally, we tried the Grilled Chicken Kimchi Sandwich for $19, which is made with Kimchi, Provolone, Spicy Mayonnaise, Arugula, with a choice of French Fries or Purple Potato Salad. Grilled Chicken Kimchi Sandwich It comes served with the chicken and cheese on the bottom bun, and then the kimchi and arugula on the other. We don’t feel the bun was as fresh on this one, and we warn you that this one definitely DOES have a kick to it! We had to grab our water and drink it pretty fast, and that’s definitely coming from the kimchi. The chicken and arugula do help balance out that spice, and we appreciated that the chicken was cooked well on the grill and was very juicy. The kimchi works well with the sandwich as a whole, but since it doesn’t have a ton of flavor other than spice and heat, we don’t recommend eating it on its own unless you know it’s something you love. It’s certainly got some heat! We’ll continue to bring you all the latest Disney World reviews and news, so stay tuned to DFB! Would you spend less time in Disney World theme parks if you could pay less for theme park tickets? Disney’s Hollywood Studios That’s the burning question of the moment, thanks to a new Disney World ticket offer for 2- or 3-day tickets that can only be used after 2 PM at the parks. Now, we’ve asked YOU, our readers, what you thought about this deal, and let’s just say your reactions were mixed. So we’re going to break it down and do the math to help you decide if this ticket deal is worth it. First off, this ticket offer isn’t exactly new. Back in 2019, Disney World had a similar offer: you could save money on tickets if you visited the theme parks after 12 PM. Then, you could get a 2-, 3-, or 4-day Mid-Day Magic Ticket, with the 2-day ticket costing from $88 per person per day (plus tax), the 3-day costing from $84 per person per day (plus tax), and the 4-day costing from $79 per person per day (plus tax). At the time, this Mid-Day ticket offer was pretty popular, so much so that Disney fans have requested for it to return. ©Disney Okay, let’s compare that to the recent ticket offer. Now, you can get a ticket deal for visiting the theme parks after 2 PM (so that’s basically two fewer hours than before, and we have to remember that Disney’s Animal Kingdom tends to close earlier now). The ticket price is also dependent on the day you choose from May 26th through July 29th. The 2-day ticket is $118 to $156 per day, while the 3-day ticket is $116 to $154 per day. EPCOT So it may seem like the value of the ticket has declined from 2019 to 2026. Overall, the new ticket deal is around $30 more expensive than it was in 2019 and includes two fewer hours in the parks (and again, we have to point out Animal Kingdom’s early closing hours). Considering the number of price increases tickets have had since 2019, though, this makes the new deal almost comparable — but not quite — to the 2019 deal. Hollywood Studios The 2019 Mid-Day ticket deal was also so popular that many Disney fans have requested that it return. Disney has basically brought the offer back, but with 2026 prices. Now, if you’re looking to visit all four theme parks, you’re much better off with the 4-park magic ticket that Disney currently offers. It’s less expensive per day than the 2 PM ticket deal. ©Disney However, if you’re only visiting the parks for a few days and don’t want to bother with rope dropping, the After 2 PM ticket deal could still be worth it for you. You’ll still be saving money over what a regular 2- or 3-day ticket would cost. This is also something locals without Annual Passes could use if they just want to pop into the parks for a weekend. Disney’s Animal Kingdom However, for those planning 4-day or longer Disney World trips, the ticket deal isn’t worth it. So it really depends on how long you plan on spending in the parks. This is a deal that will only appeal to a select group of people, and for them, they could save $$$ by using it. Early Entry is one of Disney’s most POPULAR perks, and it’s about to expand! Early entry sign! A quick refresh on Early Entry before we begin: Guests staying at Disney Resort hotels (and select other hotels) can take advantage of a 30-minute early entry into each of Walt Disney World’s theme parks every day of their stay (including check-in and check-out days). Now that’s out of the way, let’s move on to what’s changing! Over the next few months, Disney is going to open — or reopen — several rides, and a couple of in-demand attractions have already been confirmed to join the Early Entry lineup. First up is Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at the Magic Kingdom. The blaster-based attraction has been closed since last summer for a refurbishment that added new ride vehicles, new blasters, a new opening scene, a new animatronic in said opening scene (BUDDY!), and refreshed show scenes and targets. After a recent string of soft openings and previews, the ride will be open in full on April 8th (although it has soft opened, so you may get lucky) and join the Magic Kingdom’s Early Entry lineup. It’s Buddy! Next, let’s move over to Hollywood Studios, where the Rock ’n’ R0ller Coaster is currently closed as Disney removes its original Aerosmith theme to replace it with the Muppets in a new experience that Disney says will be “fueled by the tasty tunes of the Electric Mayhem and the high-speed hijinks of The Muppets.” In March 2026, Disney confirmed that the new attraction will be eligible for Early Entry when it opens this summer. The NEW car! Space Ranger Spin and the Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster will join the following attractions in the Early Entry attraction pool: Magic Kingdom Park “it’s a small world” “it’s a small world” Astro Orbiter Dumbo the Flying Elephant Mad Tea Party Mickey’s PhilharMagic Peter Pan’s Flight Prince Charming Regal Carrousel Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Space Mountain The Barnstormer The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh Tomorrowland Speedway Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress EPCOT Frozen Ever After at EPCOT Frozen Ever After Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Mission: SPACE Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Soarin’ Around the World Spaceship Earth Test Track The Seas with Nemo & Friends Disney’s Hollywood Studios Tower of Terror Alien Swirling Saucers Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run Slinky Dog Dash Star Tours – The Adventures Continue Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror Toy Story Mania! Animal Kingdom Expedition Everest Avatar Flight of Passage Expedition Everest Na’vi River Journey Zootopia: Better Zoogether! New rides aren’t the only changes coming to Early Entry, however. During the Cool Kids Summer promotion, which runs from May 26th to September 8th, hotel guests eligible for Early Entry will be able to meet a rotating cast of Disney characters at each park before the park opens to the general public. Meaning that, at least some guests who usually rush to rides will instead try to knock out character meet & greets in the early morning. Hey Mickey! Early Entry, one of Disney’s most popular hotel perks, is seeing some changes over the next few months. We know, we know, you’re probably tired of hearing the words “construction” or “refurbishment” with “Disney World” in the same sentence, but hey, it is what it is! Jambo House at Animal Kingdom Lodge There are a lot of construction projects happening around Disney World right now, and while lots of it is in the theme parks, many of Disney World’s hotels are also undergoing construction or seeing refurbishments as well. In fact, one big refurbishment project begins just next month, and we want to make sure everyone’s prepared, since it may affect what you see and hear around your hotel. If you’re staying at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge — Jambo House, this is your reminder that starting in May 2026 and continuing through January 2027, refurbishments will begin on the rooms in this section of the hotel. There are two main sections to this hotel, which are Jambo House and Kidani Village. Kidani Village rooms will come out of refurbishment in May 2026, after being under renovation since October 2025. Animal Kingdom Lodge This hotel is considered one of Disney World’s Deluxe Hotels, meaning that it’s one of the most expensive stays on property. During this time of refurbishment, we recommend booking over at Kidani Village if you can, but know that prices may be a little higher due to the rooms being brand new. Of course, Disney won’t place you inside a Jambo House room that’s actively being refurbished, but you may hear or see construction around hotel rooms during the day. For some people, that’s a dealbreaker, which we understand, so it’s important to know that they’re taking place. Hotel room door at Animal Kingdom Lodge This is far from the only hotel undergoing construction currently in Disney World. If you’re looking to avoid hotels with any major active construction at the moment, we recommend checking Disney World’s website and looking for a disclaimer on hotel pages that will let you know if construction is currently taking place. Disney is usually great about keeping noise to a minimum, especially at night, but for those who nap during the day or are extra sensitive to noise, it may be best to save these hotels for another time. It’s finally happened! Although Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin isn’t scheduled to reopen in Magic Kingdom until April 8th, the ride has soft opened, which means you may get to ride it earlier than that. We love Buddy! The ride closed in August 2025 to get a series of updates that change the ride experience, as well as make it even more interactive for those who ride it. Disney even added a brand new character to the ride, Buddy, who shows you how to use the new ride vehicles and blasters to get the highest score possible. Even reaching Galactic Hero has changed, and if that’s your goal, we’re going to tell you all about it. Before the ride closed, you could become a Galactic Hero by reaching a score of 999,999 points. Well, that’s changed, and you now need to hit 1 million points to become a Galactic Hero (and you can also score OVER that if you’re REALLY good). Scores The good news is that it’s easier than ever to actually hit targets that will help you reach your goal, and we’re going to tell you how. First, you can now remove the blaster from the vehicle, so you can hold it steady. Our best tip is to hold the blaster with both hands: use one hand for shooting and the other to steady it. You’ll also just want to keep your finger on the trigger and hold it down constantly as you move it around to hit targets. It’s SO much easier to shoot Now, before, you couldn’t even tell if or when you were hitting targets because they didn’t react. Well, now, those targets will change color when you hit them, so you’ll know you’ve succeeded and can move on to the next target. Pro tip: aim for the black dot in the center of each target. This is why having a steady grip on the blaster is so important. Point and shoot! You’ll also want to look for targets that are flashing white — those are worth more points. Make sure you prioritize those over other targets. But also keep an eye out for clusters of flashing rainbow targets. If you see those, shoot at them! They unlock a 10-second bonus mode, and you can rack up a ton of points in those ten seconds to get to 1 million even faster. You’ll need a keen eye. Get those points! We also noticed that this new version of the ride is more about shooting as many targets as you can, as well, so you’ll want to hit the high-priority targets and then focus on every other target in each scene to get those points, too. Also, the flashing targets change, so you never know where they’re going to turn up. Point and shoot! Becoming a Galactic Hero still requires some skill and practice, so don’t fret if you don’t get there on your first ride-through. You can always ride the attraction again and again, and you’re sure to get better each time. We’ll keep an eye out for more Disney World news, so stay tuned to DFB for more. 6 HUGE Hidden Secrets in Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin that We ALMOST MISSED! Do you ever sit there and wonder about what might have been? Whether it’s you’re glad the thing in question didn’t happen, or you’re reminiscing on how things happened, it’s something a lot of us can relate to. Cinderella Castle In this case, information has just come out from Disney that something VERY interesting could have happened in Magic Kingdom park during the large expansion taking place. As it turns out, a Disney Imagineer has confirmed that the possibility of building 1-2 hotels INSIDE Magic Kingdom had been discussed! According to Florida Politics, back around February 2024, Todd Rimmer, a master-planning executive with Disney Imagineering, spoke in court under oath, and during his time on the stand, mentioned that Disney had been considering building 1 or 2 hotels inside Magic Kingdom as part of the big expansion currently taking place. However, sometime between that February and now, that’s no longer on the table. Wilderness Lodge in Disney World How do we know this? Well, in an email statement from Disney after they were asked about potential hotel plans, they wrote, “There are no plans for new hotels as part of the Magic Kingdom expansion. We’re focused on bringing to life all we’ve already announced.” The lands already announced as part of this expansion are Piston Peak and Villains Land. Piston Peak Rimmer’s deposition in court revealed that Disney was toying with the idea of competing with Universal Orlando’s Grand Helios Hotel, which is located inside Epic Universe. Currently, there are three hotels on the Monorail loop around Magic Kingdom — Disney’s Grand Floridian Hotel & Spa, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. While they’re certainly close to the hotel, they’re not right on property, which is what Disney was thinking about. Monorail It’s important to note, too, that this conversation happened before Disney had officially announced the expansion to the public, which happened at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim in August 2024. If a hotel like this were to be built, it would likely become the most popular in Disney, and also likely the most expensive. More Recent Disney Hotel News! Heads Up! Now this bag isn’t waterproof or water resistant, so we don’t recommend taking it on a beach day where you know it may get wet, but if you want a bag that’s more enclosed and doesn’t show everyone around you what’s in your bag, this is a solid choice. It’s almost time for a big holiday…that’s right, it’s Easter week! Hello, Easter Bunnies! You might be surprised how much Disney World celebrates Easter. There’s usually a springtime parade on the actual holiday, and you can meet Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny in Magic Kingdom leading up to the big day. On top of that, you’ll find Easter-inspired treats around the property. Recently, we went to Disney Springs to review one such snack! We’re taking you along with us to Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew in Disney Springs to try their seasonal Easter Specialty Donut. This dessert is available for $6.50 for a limited time. There they are! It’s a pretty simple glazed yeast doughnut topped with icing and sprinkles, plus sugar bunny-themed decorations. This definitely falls in line with the “bunny butt” snack trend we see this time of year in Disney World. Everything seems to have bunny butts on it! It sure is cute to look at, but is it good to eat? Easter Specialty Donut Well, all in all, it’s not very exciting. It’s pretty sweet from the icing and sprinkles. Those sprinkles and sugar decorations add some crunchy texture, but the doughnut itself is soft and fluffy on the inside. Quite sugary! If you want a pretty basic doughnut with not much flavor variety and some fun decor, this will hit the spot, and your kids will probably love it. But it’s not as interesting taste-wise as some of the other items on the menu here at Everglazed. Inside It’s available now through Easter Sunday, so hurry and snag one if you’re interested.
