Since there seems to be a lot of questions concerning Coffee, I put a little list together and will update as needed. Q. What type of coffee maker does DVC have? A. There are 2 types from what we've seen. A small 4 cup and the normal size coffee machine. Most of the units are the small 4 cup. The coffee is comes in its own filter and is only replaced on your service day. You also get 2 packs of coffee, sugar, artificial sweetener. ***Sorry NO Keurigs*** Q. What is this Special coffee I hear about that DVC Members get? A. Disney beverage provider Joffrey's Coffee & Tea Company has created a secret menu item exclusively for Disney Vacation Club members. The "Vienna Latte" does not appear on menus at Joffrey's coffee kiosks throughout Disneyland or Walt Disney World but it's available to DVC members who ask for the special drink. The beverage is a blend of espresso, steamed milk, chocolate sauce and vanilla syrup, topped with whipped cream. Hot and iced versions are available. Joffrey's coffee products appeared at Disney theme parks, restaurants and hotel rooms in 2013, replacing Nescafe as official coffee provider. A selection of Disney-themed coffee blends is also available for purchase from the Joffrey's website. *info from DVC News Q. I heard that Starbucks have coffee shops throughout Disney. A. Yes Starbucks opened an outlet on the Marketplace end of Downtown Disney. It's a walk-up establishment with no indoor seating. There are also Starbucks’s in Magic Kingdom ( Main Street Bakery) and Epcot (Fountain View) , with plans for cafes at Disney's Animal Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios (Trolley Car Café is slated for a February 2015). The Downtown Disney locations are corporate Starbucks locations, which mean that they can take Starbucks cards and redeem Starbucks rewards (including birthday drinks, if you are part of the rewards program!). At this time, the West Side Starbucks location doesn’t take snack credits on the Disney Dining Plan (unlike the in-park Starbucks locations, Main Street Bakery and Fountain View). The location is open from 10 am to midnight. *as of June 2014

This week, we announced some fantastic new experiences coming to the Disney Dream cruise ship this fall, including interactive youth areas themed to Star Wars and Disney Infinity. In Disney’s Oceaneer Club, kids are in for an out-of-this-galaxy experience in a newly themed play, Star Wars: Millennium Falcon, inspired by the spacecraft from the legendary saga. We’ll also offer Star Wars-themed crafts, games and activities in this space. Also in the Oceaneer Club, a high-tech interactive space based on the Disney Infinity video game will allow kids to experience a whole new way of playing together with virtual experiences and immersive activities. Customized, on-screen adventures will bring to life characters and stories from across The Walt Disney Company. Jonathan has more details on both spaces and other enhancements coming to the Disney Dream in his original story.
