  2. We have A LOT to look forward to in 2024 at Disney World! Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Specifically, over at Magic Kingdom, we are excited about Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opening. This new attraction is based on Disney’s The Princess and the Frog (2009) and will take you on a musical adventure with Princess Tiana and Louis as they prepare for a Mardis Gras performance. We’ve been monitoring the construction progress that is being made, and on our recent day at Magic Kingdom, we found quite a few improvements that have been added. A few months back, we got to see the completion of this gorgeous mural that had been painted in the queue. The newest mural was designed by Lousiana native artist Malaika Favorite and will be featured in the queues of both Disney World and Disneyland’s new attraction. We love seeing even the little steps become complete because that means we’re almost there — did you catch the song reference from the film? Mural at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure We noticed this week they have added a wooden picket fence to the exterior of the attraction. Fence added In the actual queue, they have started putting a fence railing in. It reminds us of the wrought iron style that you’ll find in traditional New Orleans design. You can see below the new fence compared to the old wooden beams from Splash Mountain. Fence added In addition, they have added new stone pavers in the queue, which look to be almost complete. Pavers You can see a more complete picture here of all the hard work that is going into making this attraction complete. While we still have a long way to go, they are making some great progress. There is a lot to do On the other side of the queue, you can see progress being made to the exit stairs for the train station. They closed the area to stain the steps, and the project looks like it is almost complete. New Stairs Magic Kingdom guests will get to experience this new attraction when the ride opens in late 2024. We cannot wait to see what other changes will be made to the ride, and we are counting down the months until we can experience it for ourselves. 4. A BIG change might be coming to the McDonald’s menu SOON! McDonald’s A McDonald’s burger just might be the perfect “it’s late and I’m hungry and I don’t want to wait for a long meal and also nothing else is open but secretly I wanted junk food anyway” snack. Now, however, our beloved burgers might be getting a pretty serious upgrade! In an interview with CNN, McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski said that burgers at the Golden Arches will soon be getting BIGGER. Kempczinski said, “In the US, in a number of markets, around the world, having a larger burger is an opportunity.” He confirmed that it’s not just a concept: “We’re working on that. That is something that you should expect in the future.” McDonald’s Another representative stated that the change comes from customer demand: “We’ve listened to our customers. And we understand their desire for larger, high-quality burgers that fill you up.” McDonald’s CNN reports that McDonald’s will test out the bigger burgers at some stores and then expand to more locations once they’ve found the best bigger burger. McDonald’s But with a bigger burger surely comes a bigger price tag, right? Inflation has absolutely affected many fast food chains, but CEO Kempczinski has said that the new option “shouldn’t break the bank.” He said, “We think we’re going to be able to deliver a great tasting large burger at a superior value to what [customers] can get anywhere else.” This isn’t the only change coming to McDonald’s burgers! The Wall Street Journal reported recently that McDonald’s is revamping many of their hamburgers, including the famous Big Mac. Big Mac Some changes that could happen include smaller batches of patties being cooked for a more uniform sear, more special sauce on the Big Mac, fresher lettuce and pickles, more melty cheese, and a new buttery brioche bun with more randomly scattered sesame seeds for a “homemade look.” Inside a Big Mac But wait — there’s more! McDonald’s is really in its transformation era right now. Have you heard of the NEW spin-off restaurant called CosMc’s? The restaurant — named for the McDonald’s alien character — is opening its first location in Illinois, and we’ve already gotten a sneak peek at the menu for this brand-new spot. ©McDonald’s CosMc’s seems like a cross between Starbucks and Sonic, with its drive-thru-only layout and a menu full of drinks, both caffeinated and not. However, you’ll still see some old McDonald’s favorites there, like Egg McMuffin breakfast sandwiches and McFlurries. ©McDonald’s More CosMc’s locations could be coming if this first location in Illinois does well. CNBC reported, “The first location is in Bolingbrook, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, with about 10 additional locations set to open in Texas in 2024.” ©Business Insider Although the new restaurant is an exciting switch-up from the traditional McDonald’s restaurant, executives at the fast food giant still plan on focusing mainly on those classic McD’s restaurants. Kempczinski said, “The vast majority of what we’re going to build are going to be our traditional restaurants. There probably will be some restaurants that are drive-thru and delivery only, but that’s going to be the minority.” We love the McDonald’s near Disney World According to CNN, “the burger chain plans to have 50,000 locations globally by 2027.” We’ll keep an eye out for more fast food news, so stay tuned to DFB for the latest updates! 5. If you’re an EPCOT fan, then there’s a good chance that you keep up with the seasonal festivals. EPCOT This year, festivals started to look a little DIFFERENT toward the end of the year. Four never-before-seen booths popped up during the Food and Wine Festival to celebrate Disney’s 100th anniversary, and it was announced that the booths would stick around for Festival of the Holidays. The booths kept the same menus… or so we thought. Bubbles and Brine is dishing out a NEW menu item for Festival of the Holidays! It totally snuck on the menu. Say hello to the Chilled Seafood Trio! It’s $21, and in it, you’ll find jumbo poached shrimp with Prosecco cocktail sauce, a Jonah crab claw with stone-ground mustard sauce, and oysters on the half shell with sparkling creme fraiche and caviar. While this is a new offering in itself, the items in the trio were already here, sans the oysters. Bubbles and Brine 2023 We HAD to try it, and it was honestly a pretty solid option. For the oysters, there’s lots of creme fraiche so we couldn’t get a lot of the oyster flavor. They’re pre-shucked before arriving at the booth, so keep that in mind. Chilled Seafood Trio They weren’t shucked too well, though, and we had to work ’em a bit to get ’em moving. One of them was pretty gritty, too. HOWEVER, we’ve had far worse experiences at finer dining establishments than this EPCOT booth. Pretty solid! We’ll continue to keep you updated with more Disney news, so make sure to follow along for more so that you never miss a thing and are always in the loop. 7. One of the most fun things to do in the World Showcase at EPCOT is to sample foods from around the world. China Pavilion in EPCOT We always find those little gems of snacks from each country, like Jammie Dodgers in the U.K., pizza-flavored chips in Japan (only ONE of our favorite things in that spot), and more. Well, we just found what is traditionally a Japanese treat, mochi, in the China Pavilion. Obviously, we were interested in seeing how it differed from the Japanese version, so we tried it out. Mochi is a Japanese rice cake made of short-grain sweet rice that is turned into a paste and then molded into a shape around a filling (and both savory and sweet fillings are often used). The Mixed Mochi we picked up at the House of Good Fortune at the China Pavilion for $12.95, though, was made in Taiwan. Although it says “Japanese Mochi” on the box, it’s a little different. Mixed Mochi There were three flavors in the box, including Sesame Mochi, which was covered in sesame seeds with a sweet sesame paste filling. Sesame Mochi We found this to be delicious, and the rich smoky flavor from the sesame seeds worked perfectly with the sweet paste inside. If you like sweet and savory, you might like this. Rich smoky flavor The Red Bean Mochi is probably the closest thing in this box to a traditional Japanese mochi. The outside is dusted with a sweet paste on the inside. This is basically the kind of flavor you get from Japanese red bean treats (no, it’s not like the beans you’re thinking of — red beans are often used for sweet treats in Japan). So if you want something sweet, this is a great snack. Red Bean Mochi The Peanut Mochi was probably the most unique of the three flavors. They tasted as if they had some kind of Sweet Chili in the filling, although we also got a peanut candy kind of flavor. The outside is dusted with what seems to be peanut powder, but the smell reminds us a little of seaweed. These do not smell like a dessert. However, the inside is very sweet, but it’s not like peanut butter, but more like a peanut butter paste with something like seaweed or matcha. So it’s sweet, but also savory, if that makes sense. Peanut Mochi Here’s the thing: if you’ve never had mochi before, go to Mitsukoshi in the Japan Pavilion and get some authentic mochi there. This mochi is more of an alternative for those who’ve had traditional mochi and want to try something new. We also want to warn you that mochi has a texture that is problematic for some folks, and these flavors might not be for everyone. We’ll keep trying any other new snacks we find at Disney World, so stay tuned to DFB for more. REVIEW: There’s New MONORAIL-THEMED Coffee in Disney World! 9. Love desserts? If so, you might find yourself in a smidge bit of trouble in Disney World…because that place is FILLED with sweets. Disney Springs Just in the past few months we’ve eaten cakes, cookies, ice cream treats, and so much more. There’s always something sugary and delicious to snack on in the parks, resorts, or Disney Springs! And recently, we stopped by one popular dessert spot because their holiday treats were simply too adorable to resist. Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew is located on the West Side of Disney Springs, near Salt & Straw and Splitsville. This little doughnut shop is known for having plenty of fun flavors, but their holiday designs may just take the cake for cutest yet. The wall of doughnuts There are six different holiday doughnuts available this year — Melty the Snowman, Bowl Full of Jelly, Red-Nosed Reindeer, Peppermint Bark, Holly Jolly, and Winter Mix. I picked out three of the six, going with the snowman, reindeer, and Santa Claus-inspired designs. Each of these are available for $6.50. Our spread! First up, let’s talk about Melty the Snowman! It’s a classic yeast doughnut topped with vanilla icing, vanilla buttercream, a snowman face marshmallow, and pretzel rod arms. And seriously you guys…LOOK HOW CUTE. Melty the Snowman Honestly, he’s so precious that I feel seriously guilty for cutting him in half and biting his head off. I’m a monster. As far as taste goes, it’s a pretty basic doughnut. The doughnuts at Everglazed are usually fluffy, sweet, and delicious…and this one is no exception! It’s definitely on the sugary side though from all that icing. Such a cutie! If you like the classics, this is probably a good choice. Especially if you like to take pictures of your food. You couldn’t ask for a more photogenic model! Cross-section Next up was the Red-Nosed Reindeer Doughnut, which is a yeast doughnut topped with chocolate icing, a doughnut hole (covered in red icing), and pretzel antlers. His eyes are made of sugar. He’s a quirky one I’ll be honest — he’s pretty quirky! The doughnut is the same basic (and yummy) yeast doughnut, but the chocolate icing is rich and dark in flavor. It’s very cocoa-forward. I personally prefer Krispy Kreme’s version of a chocolate iced, but this was still pretty good. The antlers kinda remind me of Loki My main point of contention with this doughnut was the doughnut hole nose. It was pretty stale and difficult to chew, so I ended up just removing it altogether. The effect was fun, though! Inside Rudolph And last but not least, let’s discuss the Bowl Full of Jelly! This is another yeast doughnut filled with strawberry jelly and topped with red icing. It’s made to look just like Santa’s belly! Definite points for style! This doughnut was fresh and soft, and the jelly was truly spectacular. I’m not always the biggest fan of jelly doughnuts, but I really loved this one. The strawberry flavor comes through and it’s nice and sweet. It’s filled with jelly, just like Santa! But a fair warning to you — this was by far the messiest of the three. Make sure to grab your napkins before you dig in! Lots of jelly! That’s a wrap on my visit to Everglazed! 10. We’ve finally got an UPDATE on the new Disney Vacation Club Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort. Fort Wilderness Earlier this year, Disney broke the news that the Cabins at Fort Wilderness would be getting a makeover. So far, Disney hasn’t shared much else about the project, but now we have an important update. Back in April 2023, Disney shared concept art for its newly redesigned DVC Fort Wilderness Cabins. The proposal called for over 350 refreshed cabins to replace the existing cabins at the resort. New Fort Wilderness DVC Cabins ©Disney Like the other Disney Vacation Club properties, Disney stated that the proposed cabins will be open for reservations to all guests, including those who are not Disney Vacation Club Members. The original concept art featured sleek, modern cabins, which Disney explained are “inspired by the resort’s idyllic setting, while also paying homage to the resort’s unique culture and heritage through the magic of Disney storytelling.” Fort Wilderness Disney also noted that the cabins will sleep up to six adults and feature a bedroom, bathroom, living room, full kitchen, and private patio. A select number of cabins will also be dog-friendly. Below, you can see what the unrefurbished cabins look like. (This is the “BEFORE”) Current Fort Wilderness Cabins Recently, Disney shared a NEW look at the DVC Cabins during the annual DVC Condo Association Meeting. Per @TheDVCShow on Twitter/X, Disney unveiled some new concept art as well as a new logo. (This is the “AFTER”) Here’s a closer look at the proposed interior renovations. 12. Animal Kingdom is not typically the park that immediately comes to mind when you think about Disney World. Tree of Life in Animal Kingdom However, it is many people’s favorite park, especially kids’, because of all the animals and genuine beauty of nature you can feel in the theme park. You can visit the Tree of Life Garden in Animal Kingdom! One thing a lot of us overlook at Animal Kingdom, though, is its food. It has great rides and shows, that are well-known, but people don’t often talk about the food. Well, we’re not those people, because Animal Kingdom has some AMAZING food options. But out of its 33 different dining options, there are FIVE that stand out to us the most. Yak & Yeti Yak & Yeti is one of our favorite places to eat in Animal Kingdom. Not only is the food great but you can get Asian-inspired entrees at both table service and quick service locations– making this a double whammy restaurant! Both locations offer Asian fusion options, however, the table service gives you a larger selection amid a Nepalese-style restaurant with a very cool atmosphere. The restaurant offers adult meals for $15-$34.99 at both lunch and dinner. It also has a kids’ menu which is generally $10.99. Yak & Yeti Restaurant The quick-service spot serves similar-styled foods with a smaller variety. But it is still very good food and nice when you want something quick as opposed to a whole sit-down meal. You can get breakfast and lunch. and dinner here and it includes a kids’ menu as well! Meals here range from $14.99 and under for adults and $9.49 for kids. Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafe Our go-to’s at the table service version are the Firecracker Shrimp and the Ahi Tuna Nachos. The nachos are certainly large enough to share. Yak and Yeti Ahi Tuna Nachos, how we love thee. Tusker House Tusker House is one of the most fun restaurants in Animal Kingdom. It is the only character buffet in the park. You get to see Mickey and his pals dressed up to go on a safari that Donald is hosting. The food is delicious and unique with African inspiration. Tusker House Restaurant This restaurant has a colorful, airy atmosphere with African-style decor. Since this is a character buffet, it is a little on the pricey side. But it’s worth it with all the face time you get with the high-profile stars roaming around. Meet Mickey at Tusker House The characters are wonderful, but they’re not all this spot has the offer. The buffet has a great variety and is quite tasty. We recommend this spot if you’re looking for some good food and personal time with Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and Daisy! Currently, breakfast is $47 for adults and $30 for kids, while lunch and dinner are $62 per adult and $4o per child. He’s #1! Satu’li Canteen If you’re looking for a fantastic meal that’s quick and has air conditioning, we suggest wandering over to Pandora and dropping into Satu’li Canteen. It’s a cafeteria-style, out-of-this-world restaurant with delicious food. Satu’li Canteen Here you can get fun, unique, and tasty bowls featuring a variety of options. You pick your base, meat, and toppings. Chimichurri Braised Beef Noodles But the main event here is the steamed cheeseburger pods. These are delicious. Kids and adults can get these pods as your main entree, and we definitely recommend trying them. Cheeseburger Pods at Satu’li Canteen We love this dining location and will continue to highlight it as one of our favorites in Animal Kingdom. Adults can eat here for $14.99 and under, and there is a kid’s menu ranging from $7 to $9. Flame Tree Barbecue But if you don’t feel like walking all the way back to Pandora for lunch, and you don’t mind sitting outside, then give Flame Tree Barbecue a try! Flame Tree Barbecue This barbecue joint is pretty dang good. We especially love the barbecue pulled pork mac and cheese and the french fries with pulled pork and cheese (which are BACK)! You can also get some traditional BBQ options like BBQ chicken and ribs. They also have plant-based options here (however, we weren’t as impressed with these as with other plant-based options). Most of which are very good. French Fries with Pulled Pork and Cheese Flame Tree is a great quick-service option that we always seem to go back to. Since it does offer bigger portions and yummy meats, like ribs, adults can here for $15 to $34.99. There are also kid’s options. Tiffins/Nomad Lounge Last on our list, but certainly not least, is the duo Tiffins and Nomad Lounge. We put these together because Tiffins is the primary restaurant whereas Nomad Lounge is its adjacent bar location. Both locations have some phenomenal eats. Tiffins is Animal Kingdom’s signature restaurant, so you will spend a bit more here, but it’s worth it. Tiffins Tiffins has high-quality service and an artistic atmosphere. The food here is unique and a little adventurous. If you’re ballin on a budget, you may want to try one of the other options. But if you want a new experience with great food and aren’t concerned about the price tag, we recommend giving this a shot. You will need a reservation to dine here. Tamarind-braised Short Rib If you want smaller plate options with a walk-up waitlist, then try the accompanying Nomad Lounge. You can get some of the same menu items here as at Tiffins (like the bread service– YUM) as well as other appetizer-styled options. They also just recently added new menu items that we LOVED. Tiffins ranges from $35 to $59.99 per adult and it has a less-adventurous kid’s menu. We enjoy Tiffins and Nomad Lounge every time we visit and suggest giving them a try! Nomad Lounge When people mention food in Disney World, Animal Kingdom isn’t the first place they think of. But this wild animal park has several locations that are our favorites. So next time you’re there, don’t miss out on one of these top-notch restaurants. 13. Is it ever too early to get hyped for Halloween? Pixar Pier at Disney California Adventure While the holiday festivities currently have the spotlight at Disneyland Resort, Disney has made it impossible not to look ahead and think about the great events planned for 2024 after releasing their 2024 Disneyland Resort event calendar. The announced events look great, but one especially stands out — the return of a special Halloween event! The Oogie Boogie Bash was one of several announced 2024 Disneyland Resort events and we are SO excited it is coming back for another year! ©Disney The Bash takes place at Disney California Adventure and features numerous family-friendly Halloween activities that include “immersive treat trails, rare character sightings, and unique entertainment,” per Disney’s official statement. For this event, guests are invited to dress up in approved Halloween costumes. Oogie Boogie sign above Disney California Adventure This year’s Oogie Boogie Bash was ridiculously popular, with all nights selling out almost immediately. When tickets are released next year for the parties, we STRONGLY suggest making it a priority to grab them promptly. It’s the Oogie Boogie man! Right now event dates are NOT AVAILABLE, but we do know that the Bash will take place during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort, which has been OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED to start on August 23rd, 2024, and run through Halloween (October 31st, 2024). 14. Who doesn’t love an early morning coffee during your trip to Disney World? Time to grab a coffee! I mean, you have to get some energy for the day somehow! Whether you prefer to stop in at Starbucks on Main Street or go to your favorite Joffrey’s kiosk, you’re bound to find something that is delicious and helps you get through the day. We were headed into the parks and found a NEW drink at Joffrey’s, so we decided to get it to share with you! The Highway in the Sky Horchata at Joffrey’s caught our eye just by the name alone! Yep — it’s themed to the MONORAIL! Really the only thing about it that’s Monorail-themed is the name, but we’ll still take it. This drink is a sweet blend of Espresso and Horchata, topped with Whipped Cream, Cinnamon, and Gold Sprinkles. You can grab this drink at the Joffrey’s kiosk at the Ticket and Transportation Center for $6.49. Let’s try it! This drink wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t mind-blowing good either. It had a great cinnamon flavor, but the coffee wasn’t super smooth. They added a lot of cinnamon at the bottom, and it added a texture that we didn’t mind but not everyone may want in their coffee. It is topped with sweet whipped cream that we enjoyed, but our drink didn’t actually have gold sprinkles in it since they didn’t have any at this location. The Highway in the Sky Horchata When we tried it, we noticed that it had some serious similarities to a drink we tried at the Festival of the Holidays at EPCOT– The Horchata Cold Brew. The main difference between the two is that this drink is made with espresso and the EPCOT version is made with cold brew. The Highway in the Sky Horchata If you like cinnamon, you’re in for a treat with this drink. The flavor is also very coffee-forward, so if you prefer that in your coffee drinks, this would be something good to try! The Highway in the Sky Horchata If you’re not a fan of different textures in your drinks and just want them to be smooth, this may not be the one for you. However, Joffrey’s has a TON of options — so you’ll find the perfect one for you. SO GOOD Like, seriously, the caramel is around half an inch thick. It’s also topped with chocolate frosting, pecans, and chocolate chips. Pastries at Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie In the France Pavilion of EPCOT, you’ll find Les Halles, which serves up sandwiches, soup, salad, pastries, macarons, and even a FULL-SIZED baguette for less than $4. Any Soup at Boma Sometimes, you just need to cozy up with a bowl of soup, and a great place to do this is Boma. ALL these soups FTW! Poutine at the Daily Poutine This Disney Springs spot is one of the BEST places to order the Canadian-inspired fry dish. The Daily Poutine They have seasonal poutines and unique poutines that pop up occasionally, and I don’t think we’ve had one so far that we don’t like. 18. 2024 is going to be BIG for Disneyland Resort! Disneyland Disney already released the calendar of events that we can expect in the coming months, and it has got us HYPED for what’s to come. From Disneyland After Dark (including a new Disney Channel Nite) to runDisney races and the holiday season, there are going to be plenty of reasons to plan trips. And if you’re hoping to head to the West Coast for Halloween, we’ve got news for you! Halloween season is a very popular time to visit Disneyland Resort, and now, Disney has confirmed that the most popular Halloween event is coming back! That’s right, Oogie Boogie Bash will be returning to Disney California Adventure in 2024. It’s the Oogie Boogie man! This hard-ticketed event typically runs on select nights in September and October, featuring treat trails with rare Disney villains, the Frightfully Fun Parade, and plenty of exclusive snacks. If you want to go, you have to be ON IT to purchase tickets…so when will they go on sale in 2024? Frightfully Fun Parade Disney hasn’t shared details about ticket sales yet, but historically, tickets have gone on sale toward the end of June. In 2023, tickets were released on June 27th, and in 2022, they dropped on June 28th. Both times, tickets sold out incredibly quickly, so you’ll want to be ready right when sales open! MIckey’s Trick and Treat We’ll also warn you that we’ve had issues with ticket sales in the past — namely, with packed virtual waiting rooms and incredibly long queues. In 2023, Disney had to pause the sales on the first day because so many people were interested in getting tickets. Essentially, you’ll want to be prepared in case of a technical nightmare. Oogie Boogie Bash If you’re a Halloween fan and you love dressing up, meeting rare characters, and getting lots of candy, this might be the perfect option for you! We’ve really enjoyed our visits to Oogie Boogie Bash in the past and we’re excited to go back next year. Stay tuned to DFB for all the updates! Click Here to Get ALL the Details on Oogie Boogie Bash! 20. This is not a drill! We found a NEW Holiday drink at Disney World. Disney Springs We have been keeping our eyes out for new holiday treats around Disney World. We love being able to experience seasonal flavors and share our thoughts with you. So, when we found a Holiday Boba Tea, we knew we had to try it! We’ve seen this Holiday Boba Tea in the past, and we really enjoyed it when we tried it back then. Now, we wanted to see if it would hold up! You can find it at the YeSake kiosk at Disney Springs on the West Side of the Springs. YeSake This tea has the quintessential holiday flavor combo — chocolate and peppermint. The drink is called Holiday Peppermint Chocolate Milk Boba Tea, and it costs $8. It comes topped with whipped cream and crushed candy canes. Check it out! We are big fans of this combo for other treats, so we had high hopes for this boba tea, and our expectations were blown away! If you like this flavor combo and enjoy boba, then run (don’t walk) to YeSake to try it for yourself. Holiday Boba We really enjoyed this drink! At first, it tastes like chocolate milk, and then the peppermint flavor comes in as an aftertaste. After a few sips, we noticed that the peppermint mixed with the chocolate tea a little more and they created the perfect chocolate peppermint flavor. Holiday Boba Tea at YeSake! Of course, you can’t have a boba tea without boba! They used plain boba for this drink, which we think was a good decision — it added the right amount of texture but didn’t throw off the flavor at all. It also had crushed candy canes on top of the whipped cream, which mixed into the drink and added even more depth of flavor (in the BEST way!). Holiday Boba Tea at YeSake! If you like boba, this is the drink for you. The flavors seem so simple but it all truly comes together to create a delicious holiday treat that you can’t miss out on. We know that we’re heading here first on our next visit to pick another one up before it’s gone for the season. Yum! 21. The holiday season is all around us in Disney World, and we are NOT complaining. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party We’re taking in all the beautiful holiday decorations, drinking all the hot cocoa (okay, only on the cold days, that is), eating all the snacks, and enjoying Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. A SPECIAL party INSIDE Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is happening at Gaston’s Tavern in Fantasyland on select nights, including December 7th, December 14th, and December 21st. This event is only available to Disney Vacation Club members. ©Disney Gaston will be meeting with guests at the party (seriously, how can anyone pass up a meeting with the one and only Gaston?). ©Disney There will also be special treats (yum!) and more! ©Disney You will need to be an eligible DVC member to attend this event, but if you are, we certainly recommend checking it out. 22. For any last-minute stragglers hoping to attend one of the final Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Parties, we’ve got some bad (but unsurprising, really) news. Hello from a snow-filled Main Street, U.S.A! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is one of the most POPULAR holiday events of the season, and we’ve been keeping track of ticket availability ever since tickets first went on sale. Now, we’ve got an important update to share about the remaining party dates. It’s official. As of December 7th, 2023, the nine remaining Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party dates have sold out. That means that the party is COMPLETELY sold out for the year. Specifically, December 8th, 10th, 12th, 14th, 15th, 17th, 19th, 21st, and 22nd are marked “Sold Out” on the Disney World calendar. Note that earlier this season, we have seen “Sold Out” dates become available again, so keep your eyes out for new availability. Christmas Parade You can also try visiting Guest Relations before a party to see if any last-minute tickets become available. We can’t guarantee you’ll be able to score any tickets, but it never hurts to ask! Toy Soldiers at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Oh, and if you’re really itching to visit an exclusive holiday party this year but can’t attend the Magic Kingdom party, tickets are still available for the remaining Jollywood Nights holiday parties in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Grab those tickets before they sell out! You can even meet Phineas and Ferb! We’ll be sure to keep our eyes out for any changes to the December park calendar, but in the meantime, we’re here to share ALL the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more. 23. If you’re a frequent Disney World visitor, you probably know all about the holiday parties like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. But did you know that Disneyland Resort has nighttime events too? Disneyland Resort Some of Disneyland’s most popular events are the Disneyland After Dark offerings…and they’re returning in 2024! Disney recently announced the lineup of offerings, and they’ve got some pretty cool themes this year — including a brand-new party inspired by the Disney Channel. Last year, Disneyland hosted Sweethearts Nite, Star Wars Nite, and Pride Nite, but this year they’re adding a NEW one to the mix — Disney Channel Nite! It will take place at Disneyland Park on March 5th and 7th, 2024. ©Disney Disney says the event will be “highlighting themed offerings from favorite Disney Channel shows across various eras of programming with fantastic music, memorable characters, high-energy parties, unique photo opportunities, and more!” And after checking out the list of what will be available, we think all you nostalgic Disney Channel fans might want to consider a trip. ©Disney First up, there’s a High School Musical-themed pep rally that will travel through the streets of Disneyland, playing songs from the beloved franchise. On top of that, you can check out a Phineas and Ferb-inspired dance party on the stage in Tomorrowland. It will feature songs from the hit show and appearances by favorite characters! ©Disney Those who loved Descendants will want to head over to the Rivers of America, where you can take a ride on the Sailing Ship Columbia while it plays songs from the trilogy of movies. And of course, there will be plenty of photo ops throughout the park — step into your favorites like Lizzie McGuire, Teen Beach Movie, The Cheetah Girls, and more. Sailing Ship Columbia It wouldn’t be a special event without some unique snacks! A few items to look out for are the mini banana burritos and tropical banana punch at Red Rose Taverne, as well as chili cheese loaded nachos and a s’mores donut skewer at Café Daisy. A few specialty dining packages will also be available — details to come at a later date. Cafe Daisy A limited number of tickets for this event will go on sale to Magic Key holders on December 12th, 2023 at no earlier than 9AM PT. On December 14th, tickets will go on sale to the general public — also no earlier than 9AM PT. They’re subject to availability. We can’t wait to learn more about this new event and share all the details with you! Stay tuned to DFB for the latest updates. Click Here to Get the Lowdown on the OTHER Disneyland After Dark Events!
