We love a themed dessert. Seriously, if we can eat something that represents our favorite Disney characters AT Disney, we’re going to do it, and that’s what led us to try this new treat. Prince Eric and Ariel Have you seen the new version of The Little Mermaid stage show in Hollywood Studios, The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure? The newly reimagined show debuted in May, and it looks like all of Disney World is celebrating its return to the stage. Say hello to the Little Mermaid Cookie Pie for $6.29 at The Market at Ale and Compass at Disney’s Yacht Club. Little Mermaid Cookie Pie This cookie pie (not a whoopie pie!) features a marshmallow and ganache filling sandwiched between two house-made graham cracker cookies, enrobed in blue chocolate with “Under the Sea” chocolate decor. It’s SO cute We have to start with the presentation because it’s so cute. It looks like it’s one of Ariel’s treasures. The tiny dinglehopper on top really takes it to the next level. The blue was a thin layer of chocolate, and there was even more chocolate with the additional starfish and shell on top. Perfectly thinned When we took a bite, it reminded us of an oatmeal cream pie but with a thinner layer of icing in the middle. They come individually wrapped, which makes it feel like a little present. A tiny dinglehopper! The entire cookie pie is very soft and melts quickly, but that only made it more enjoyable to eat. The middle marshmallow melted and dripped out, making the whole item gooey and a perfect texture. It was giving major s’mores vibes! The price is pretty hard to beat, too. For $6, this is a good size, and while it might be too messy to easily share, we liked keeping it all for ourselves. Gooey! While heading to the Yacht Club when you aren’t staying there is a bit inconvenient, we really loved it and will be stopping by next time we’re at EPCOT. If you use the International Gateway entrance, you can walk right to the Yacht Club to pick up this treat. We loved it! Disney adults are cracking open their wallets at EPCOT this summer thanks to the park’s newest lounge! GEO-82 EPCOT has long been a favorite of Disney Adults thanks to the park’s unique souvenir offerings, varied restaurant offerings, and, of course, the ability to drink around the world! However, the park’s latest lounge may appeal to that subset of visitors more than the rest of the park combined! In June 2025, Disney opened the new GEO-82 Lounge, a 21+ establishment themed to the park’s most iconic attraction. According to Disney, the bar & lounge is a “sophisticated hideaway nestled within the iconic geodesic sphere at EPCOT that’s home to Spaceship Earth” where guests can “experience global flavors blended with culinary artistry in classic cocktails and small plates.” The company goes on to say that GEO-82 pays homage to the attraction through its name – a reference to Spaceship Earth’s shape and opening year – as well as “the storied history and enduring legacy of this timeless EPCOT icon” through its theming and decorative elements. Geo-82 Given the lounge’s adult-only atmosphere as well as its theming to a longtime favorite attraction of many, it’s perhaps no surprise that Disney Adults are spending lots of money there. The lounge, which currently requires advance reservations, has a full bar menu of “cool cocktails, like the Brown Butter Old Fashioned—made with brown butter-infused bourbon—and the Clarified New York Sour. Or, sip a zero-proof cocktail, like the Manhattan in the Morning” as well as “world-class wines and spirits, and a classic assortment of beers.” Brown Butter Old Fashioned In addition, guests can bring home a part of the GEO-82 experience in the form of collectible wine and rocks classes emblazoned with the lounge’s logo available for purchase. Glasses The lounge also offers a small plates menu of “blissful bites with global influences” like Truffled Ahi Tuna and Jumbo Lump Crab Gâteau, all of which are designed to complement the cocktail menu. The experience offers guests a special view of the Luminous The Symphony of Us nighttime spectacular. We don’t know about you, but we’re ready for this HOT summer to be over and for spooky season to arrive! Oogie Boogie Bash 2024 Disney just announced a ton of exciting news about the Halloween season at Disneyland, and we’re getting pretty darn excited about it all. The iconic after-hours party, Oogie Boogie Bash, is returning in 2025 with some changes — and we’ve rounded them up for you right here. Oogie Boogie Bash is taking place on select nights from August 17th to October 31st in 2025. Tickets go on sale to the public on June 26th, and they go on sale for Magic Key holders starting June 24th. Oogie Boogie check-in With your ticket, you’ll be able to enter Disney California Adventure (where Oogie Boogie Bash is held) at 3 PM. The event itself runs from 6 PM to 11 PM each night. Tickets are pretty popular and often sell out, so you’ll want to hurry and make your purchase as soon as you can! Gotta pay a visit to the boogie man! Ticket prices start at $139 per person and go up to $199 per person, depending on the date you choose to visit. This is another change from last year, when tickets were between last year was $134 and $189. Tickets go on sale to the public on June 26th, and they go on sale for Magic Key holders starting June 24th. Mickey’s Trick and Treat at Oogie Boogie Bash We’ve also been able to meet several non-villain characters throughout the park in the past. Disney has confirmed that in 2025, you’ll be able to interact with some of your favorite pals in their Halloween costumes. We can’t wait! Mickey’s Trick and Treat Show Disney confirmed that the Vanilla Layer Cake is coming back to Plaza de la Familia… Vanilla Layer Cake …and the Oogie Boogie Lemonade is returning as well. ©Disney But, they also teased a NEW Jalapeño-Cream Cheese Bread, and it looks like it’s definitely going to be a winner in our book. ©Disney Another new change you’ll have to plan for is the closure of the shortcut that connects Radiator Springs with Avengers Campus at the park. But, now that there is construction around Avengers Campus, that shortcut has been closed! We expect it will remain that way throughout the remainder of the construction — and during Oogie Boogie Bash. The shortcut We can’t wait for Oogie Boogie Bash later this year! Cheez-Its just announced a new partnership with Wendy’s (yes, you read that right), and they’ve created a new flavor of Cheez-Its — Cheez-It Wendy’s Baconator Crackers. ©Cheez-Its Yep, they’ve somehow packed all the flavor of a Baconator burger (A HAMBURGER) into a small Cheez-It cracker. Honestly, we could see this going one of two ways — it could be fantastic, or it could be downright awful. However, it seems people were as curious as we are, because they sold out SUPER quick online! ©Cheez-Its However, these ARE currently available in stores! They’re admittedly pretty hard to find, and do also sell out often, but if you’re really committed to trying them, we recommend calling around to different stores near you to see if they have any in stock. Checking online sometimes isn’t accurate, so keep that in mind when looking. It’s also possible that they’ll be harder to find now that they’re new, and in a few weeks, it may be much easier to snag them! We’ve got an exciting update from the Wildest Ride in the Wilderness! Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is currently closed Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom closed in January for a year-long refurbishment (at least). We’ve been keeping an eye on all the construction we can see — including the removal and replacement of the ride’s track and some testing — but we recently spotted something else we’re excited about! On a recent trip to Magic Kingdom on June 16th, we happened to notice some pretty exciting changes over at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad! The ride has been closed since January, with an expected refurbishment timeline of at least one year. Luckily, progress seems to be moving right along based on the latest construction updates we’ve seen! Big Thunder Mountain construction June 16th, 2025 Do you see those big tarps covering something up through the fence? If you ask us, those tarps look pretty train-car shaped! We took a ride on the Walt Disney World Railroad to get a glimpse, but it’s clear Disney is keeping these new trains under wraps — er, tarps. There were even construction workers hammering away when we passed by. Is that a new train car?! We also spotted what looks like some fresh paint on part of the attraction — we’re pretty sure this green sign was repainted recently! Hopefully, these are steps in the right direction so we can finally ride this rollercoaster again. New paint job! Our last update revealed that Disney was using ride envelope testing vehicles to check ride safety and clearance. These testing vehicles have one job: they have these extenders that reach out from their frame and act as the maximum reach of riders. This makes sure that nothing on the ride extends into that maximum reach area. See the ride vehicle? Disney has said that Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will reopen “with a little bit of new magic,” so it could be getting more updates than just the new track. We’re not sure what this means, but we’re hoping for those cool projection effects you get on the ride in Disneyland. Progress! If you’re a millennial visiting Magic Kingdom, you may be faced with a new problem! Magic Kingdom No, we’re not talking about how difficult it is to get in and out of the Space Mountain ride vehicles now, or that you may need to take an antacid before you start your Magic Kingdom snack crawl. We mean that the park is CHANGING, and it doesn’t look quite like how you remember it growing up! It’s simply a fact that Disney World is going to change over time. We’ve seen it over and over again since the resort opened in 1971, with rides getting replaced, new lands being built, hotels getting updated, and food options coming and going seemingly constantly. Welcome to Magic Kingdom Visiting Magic Kingdom definitely isn’t the same as it was when you were growing up. Mickey’s ToonTown is gone and replaced with “new” Fantasyland, and soon, we’ll be saying goodbye to Tom Sawyer Island and the Liberty Square Riverboat. Tom Sawyer Island But with these things from your childhood disappearing, you may find that what they’re being replaced with doesn’t appeal to you as directly as it used to. Think back — when Mickey’s ToonTown was replaced with New Fantasyland, the area became a millennial kid’s dream. It’s home to spaces inspired by The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast…movies that were a hit back in the 80s and 90s. Gaston’s Tavern Now, the changes and expansions are focusing more on IP that appeals to Gen Z or even Gen Alpha. Splash Mountain was replaced with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, based on a movie that came out in 2009. Tom Sawyer Island and the Rivers of America will become a Cars-themed space, which is a movie franchise that was made popular in the 2000s as well. Piston Peak ©Disney Even Country Bear Jamboree got some updates in summer 2024 to make it appeal more to the generations of today. Now, the show features the bears singing country versions of Disney songs instead of the bizarre soundtrack of years past. The Country Bears Disney as a company is often focused on the motto of “keep moving forward,” and unfortunately, that means we can’t expect attractions, shows, and rides to stick around forever. If something isn’t specifically drawing in guests, then it’s essentially “wasted” space in the parks that could be transformed into something more profitable. It’s sad, but it’s the way that the theme park business works. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Thankfully, there are still plenty of things for millennials to enjoy in the parks. Magic Kingdom is getting TWO new Cars rides PLUS a Villains land with new rides. ©Disney In EPCOT, Test Track is getting a complete overhaul, which means it will be technically like a new ride when it reopens on July 22nd. Disney has announced specific groups will be able to preview the attraction before it opens to the public. Disney has announced that early previews for Test Track for members of the following: Cast Members Annual Passholders Disney Vacation Club Members Golden Oak Residents Club 33 Members Currently, no specific dates have been announced for these previews or when you can sign up, but we’ll keep our eyes open for more information. ©Disney Not part of these groups? Don’t worry! Test Track is opening on July 22nd for everyone. If you want to go on opening day, make sure you book your EPCOT park reservation soon — we’ll be expecting them to fill up! A popular ride is about to reopen in EPCOT! EPCOT EPCOT underwent some massive changes in 2024 with the opening of CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza. However, the changes didn’t stop there, as Disney World announced the reimagining of the super-popular Test Track ride and promptly closed it for a lengthy refurbishment back in June while teasing that the attraction would reopen sometime in 2025. Well, we’re happy to bring some good news — we finally have a reopening date! Test Track was closed officially on June 17th, 2024, in order to incorporate new elements and a new overall design. A complete reimagining, this new version of Test Track is set to OFFICIALLY open on July 22nd, 2025! ©Disney The new version of Test Track has teased several new features, such as a queue with six exhibits celebrating vehicles and their makers and a new outdoor scene that celebrates technological advances. Did you know that Disney World is hosting a special celebration this summer? It’s Cool Kid Summer! Disney has dubbed this offering “Cool Kid Summer,” where they showcase the best of the best for families with kids, AND add in some new entertainment and attractions. And if you’re curious as to what’s available during Cool Kid Summer, there are some new maps available to help you out! In the My Disney Experience app, you’ll see Cool Kid Summer highlighted on the homepage. If you click on that particular info guide, you’ll be able to view new maps for each of the four parks with the specialty offerings marked. Starting in Magic Kingdom, you’ll notice that there are entertainment options in Storybook Circus and Tomorrowland, as well as a snack option in Tomorrowland. ©Disney In Storybook Circus, they’ve got the Big Top Bash, which is a dance party and circus-style entertainnent offering rolled into one. You’ll spot stiltwalkers, magicians, and Mickey’s best pal, Pluto, wandering around Storybook Circus. In the back of the land, there’s a DJ hosting a dance party from 10AM-6PM, as well as some outdoor games and photo ops. Big Top Bash! Tomorrowland has the Galactic Blast during Cool Kid Summer, where there’s another DJ with an emcee, and frequent appearances by our favorite blue alien, Stitch! This one is located at the Rocket Tower Plaza Stage and it’s available from 11AM-3PM. Stitch’s Dance Party Speaking of Stitch, you can stop by Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies to snag the Surfing Stitch Float for $6.79. This is made with pineapple Dole Whip and Mountain Berry Powerade. Surfing Stitch Float Heading over to EPCOT, there are two special offerings for Cool Kid Summer on the map, both of which are located at CommuniCore Hall. ©Disney Inside the building, you’ve got GoofyCore, which is available from 10AM-6PM. A DJ plays tunes while Goofy leads the kiddos in fun games and activities. LOTS of fun here! Outside, you’ll find the temporary GRAB-N-GOOF food kiosk. This spot is home to some fun pasta options and is open from 9:30AM-9PM. You can stop by here until September 2nd! Grab-n-Goof Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, it’s all about the entertainment! There’s one offering over in Sunset Boulevard and two new options in Animation Courtyard. ©Disney Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After has come to the Sunset Showcase, and this new live-action show has been popular! The plot follows three different Disney Villains as they each try to convince you that they’re the most misunderstood villain of them all. It’s definitely a must-see during your next visit! Captain Hook In Animation Courtyard, The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure opened on the same day as the villains show. This is a reimagined version of the former The Little Mermaid live show, and it follows the story of the movie with songs, puppets, and live performers. The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure The other offering you’ll want to check out in Hollywood Studios is Get Animated. This street party in Animation Courtyard features a magician and jump rope performers, as well as appearances by Disney characters. Inside, you can catch a DJ and a dance party with Mickey and Disney Junior characters as well. This party is available from 9AM-5PM. Get Animated! Last but not least, we’ve got to head to Animal Kingdom. The map here has four different offerings, but we’ll start with the one located all the way out at Conservation Station. Here, you’ll want to be on the lookout for the limited-time pollinator craft at Rafiki’s Planet Watch. ©Disney This park perhaps has the most diverse Cool Kid Summer celebrations, because it’s also home to some special entertainment, an activity, and a snack! ©Disney At Dino-Bite Snacks, you’ll find the Dino Eggs-cavation treat for $5.29. It’s made with a chocolate chunk cookie, cookie crumb-milk mousse, edible sugar bones, and a white chocolate dino egg with a surprise inside! (Spoiler: the surprise is a tiny dinosaur!) The Dino Eggs-cavation If you’re hoping to become a Wilderness Explorer during your visit to Animal Kingdom (it’s a free Up-themed scavenger hunt-like activity around the park), there’s a special Cool Kid Summer badge you can earn in Asia. Be on the lookout for the temporary Wilderness Explorer location near Feathered Friends in Flight to do some nature-inspired activities. Wilderness Explorer activity The final offering at Animal Kingdom is A Celebration Sing-Along at Discovery Island. This runs at 2:35PM and 3:35PM, so showtimes are limited, but it features a Dino Institute intern singing songs about all the creatures you can find around the park. Buckle up for a new spin on a fan-favorite attraction – Test Track presented by General Motors will reopen on July 22! This attraction update will debut an all-new musical score, as well as new scenes that highlight technology making our cars smarter and our lives more fun. See Through the “Eyes” of a Vehicle One of those scenes showcases how vehicles can use advanced cameras and sensors to “see” the world they drive through. Walt Disney Imagineers were able to represent this tech utilizing over 29,000 points of light – and to explain a little more how guests will see through the “eyes” of a vehicle, meet Leigh and Cole. While Test Track has always celebrated new and future automotive technology, it’s also a reminder of what a road trip is all about: spending quality time in the company of friends and family while embracing the beauty of the world around you. The IAAPA Expo plans to expand its footprint at Orange County Convention Center, a move that is said to reflect the health of the tourism industry and the boom of related segments. The annual trade show will move in the convention center’s West Concourse for the first time in 2026. Previously it has been only in the North and South concourses. “The industry is growing. We see that with the projects like Epic Universe, but we also see it with all the smaller attractions, which happen everywhere now — if it’s a Ripley’s Mirror Maze or if it’s a Puttshack or if it’s a PopStroke — all those little attractions are actually contributing the success of the attraction industry,” said Jakob Wahl, president of the Orlando-based International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, a k a IAAPA. The expo is known for its vast, teeming trade floor that includes vendors of all manner of manufacturers and creative types, ranging from water-slide equipment to major roller coasters to plush animals for carnival games to theme park announcements. The assortment of participants has been diversifying, Wahl said. “We have seen more and more resorts coming, more and more cruise ships,” he said. “We have seen an increased growth of food and beverage vendors, and we’re working on an increased focus on technology vendors. There are many, many companies in that space.” The 2025 expo floor is sold out with more than 1,100 vendors, some of which will set up shop in the convention center parking lot. The event had more than 40,000 attendees last year. IAAPA Expo, which also includes educational sessions and excursions to Central Florida attractions, introduced themed pavilions last year, including an area devoted to food and beverage companies and a Halloween-driven section. “We want to expand and, at the same time, we want to use that expansion to further grow the show, to be more creative, to be more global and to be also more immersive,” Wahl said. “This is where we will introduce some pavilions next year at the show to really cater to new industry, to new segments of our expo which might not have had the same presence as we thought in the past,” he said. This year’s expo begins Nov. 17, but the expansion into the West Concourse is scheduled to kick in next year. “Such an expansion, actually, is not that easy to execute,” Wahl said. “We actually start working up to one and a half years in advance on the floor plan.” IAAPA Expo has been an annual presence at the convention center since 2010. We’ve been awaiting this news for quite some time, knowing it was coming, but half-dreading the announcement. Dinoland DinoLand U.S.A. began its closure and transformation into Pueblo Esperanza earlier this year when Chester & Hester’s DinoRama closed, along with TriceraTop Spin. Now, Disney has officially announced the closing date for The Boneyard in Dinoland, and it’s arriving sooner than you may think. It’s just been confirmed that the last day of operation for The Boneyard, the play area for kids inside DinoLand, will be September 1st, 2025. As part of the ongoing transformation of DinoLand U.S.A. into the Tropical Americas-themed Pueblo Esperanza, Disney has announced yet another closure. Tropical Americas The Boneyard, a dinosaur-dig themed play area for kids, has remained open despite the other closures in DinoLand. But, Disney has just revealed the final date this spot will be open — and it’s in just a few weeks. Disney has announced that The Boneyard at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be closing on September 2nd, 2025. If you want to get in a little excavation before this play area closes for good, you’ll want to do it before that date. The Boneyard But, not all hope is lost because Disney also announced that Tropical Americas will include a new themed play area for kids visiting Pueblo Esperanza. We don’t have many details so far, but we are excited that there will still be an area for kids to let out a little energy! @Disney Disney announced that a Tropical Americas land would be coming to Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom park in 2027 at the 2023 D23 Expo. Get ready to step into Pueblo Esperanza! Pueblo Esperanza will become home to two signature attractions — an Encanto ride featuring the Madrigal family and a new Indiana Jones adventure ride! A Carousel will also provide another ride option. ©Disney The new land will feature classic Spanish-style architecture with a large hacienda that will also serve as one of the largest quick-service restaurants at Disney World. The rich and lush color and biodiversity of the Tropical Rainforest will be on full display and at the center of Pueblo Esperanza will be a large fountain where stories will be told by gathering villagers. DinoLand Construction Closing dates have yet to be announced for DINOSAUR, Restaurantosaurus, Dino-Bite Snacks, and Trilo-Bites; however, in December 2024, Disney shared the following specifically in regards to DINOSAUR: Disney has officially announced that “2025 is your year to visit before it goes extinct!” So, if you want to ride DINOSAUR at least one more time before it’s gone for good, make sure you plan a trip to Animal Kingdom in 2025. Construction is already underway We can’t wait to experience the new land, but we are sad to see more of DinoLand close for good. We LOVE it when Disney announces anything, especially when it has to do with our Disney Parks. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party While huge announcements like new rides and lands are thrilling, there are some announcements we expect to see around the same time every year. Now that we’re halfway through the year, we’re tapping our fingers, waiting and waiting for Disney to say anything about our special, end-of-the-year experiences. Disney already announced Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Oogie Boogie Bash dates and tickets, but what about Christmas time? In 2024, dates for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights were released on June 24th, which was the last Monday of the month. We’re guessing Disney will announce this year’s tickets around June 23rd. 2024 The Muppets hosted a Christmas show! Once it’s announced, when will you be able to purchase the tickets? Here’s a look at the past few years: 2022: June 30th (resort guests), July 7th (general public) 2023: June 29th (resort guests), July 6th (general public) 2024: July 2nd (resort guests), July 11th (general public) Frosted cookies in Tomorrowland If tickets are announced on June 23rd, we can predict that resort guests will be able to purchase tickets on July 1st, and the general public can grab them on July 10th. Santa Duffy at Jollywood It can be hard to plan out November and December when we’re only in July, so how soon will you need to purchase tickets? Typically, we recommend grabbing tickets as soon as you can. Dates are known to sell out, especially the first night, dates close to Christmas, and the weekends. The parade at night. For 2024, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party was sold out by November 30th for dates between November 8th and December 20th. If you don’t care about the specific date you get, you might have more flexibility in waiting to grab tickets. However, if there are particular dates you’ll be in town or dates you need to work around, securing a ticket early ensures it won’t be sold out later. Toasted Marshmallow-Panna Cotta Tart Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is the more popular of the two holiday parties. Jollywood is only a few years old, so it hasn’t gained the following that Very Merry has. In 2024, the only nights that sold out were: November 9th (the first night of the event) December 7th December 21st (the last night of the event) Jollywood Nights Looks like you’ll likely have more wiggle room when it comes to purchasing dates for Jollywood Nights versus Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. We are ready to pull on our Santa hats, put together the best outfit possible, and try all the special foods. Air travel is getting more expensive for certain travelers… A word of warning about flying… In general, the price of flying can fluctuate from year to year, season to season, week to week, etc. It’s hard to pinpoint just how much money you’ll actually need to spend until you get inside your preferred booking window. We like to provide you with all sorts of travel tips that can help you maximize those windows and take advantage of savings, but sometimes we also need to bring you bad news about the cost of travel going up, as well. According to reports, United States-based airlines have been charging higher fares for solo flyers. Let’s fly! Per a study by Thrifty Traveler, Delta Airlines, United Airlines, and American Airlines have been charging a “single supplement” — an extra tax on single travelers flying domestically. At least one of these fares was doubled as part of the single supplement. Orlando International During an interview with CNN, Thrifty Traveler’s executive editor — Kyle Potter — mentioned that there was a significant price difference when researching routes for one passenger versus two, with noticeable price-per-ticket decreases when multiple tickets were to be purchased. Potter noted that this was odd, saying, “It’s usually the reverse.” ©United Thrifty Traveler found some pretty shocking results, including a one-way United Airlines flight from Chicago to Asheville for $223 for one passenger, which dropped to $207 TOTAL for two passengers. That’s right, in some cases, you’re better off buying for two passengers rather than just yourself if you’re looking to save money. The investigation concluded that most of the time, these issues came up with one-way routes. ©Getty Images According to the study, this “tax” is not yet widespread. In fact, since the report was made public, at least two of the airlines Thrifty Traveler has been tracking have rolled back the higher pricing. These price hikes WERE NOT found with international flights. American Airlines Apparently, some airlines have been including these upcharges in their fare rules, so it’s important to read the fine print before shelling out your money. It’s also worth noting that these fares could cause plenty of backlash and possible government regulation, meaning the situation will likely remain fluid with changes always on the table. In the midst of Disney releasing their newest live-action film, Lilo & Stitch, as well as Pixar getting ready to release Elio into theaters soon, a lot is going on in the world of Disney movies right now. ©Disney However, there’s even MORE going on in the world of development right now! At the recent 2025 Annecy Animation Festival, details about Frozen 3 AND Frozen 4 were just revealed that you’ve gotta hear. According to Collider, Jared Bush, Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios, gave us a promising update and hints towards the upcoming films. When he was asked if the two new films would be part of a dual storyline, he kept things vague, yet full of praise, saying the work specifically being done on Frozen 3 is “phenomenal.” He continued, saying, “When people see it, I think returning to that world with those characters, the entertainment value of watching them go on a new journey, but that feels very organic to the story they’ve already been on, is fantastic.” ©Disney Now, Frozen 3 isn’t slated to come out until 2027, which is a LONG time to wait. However, Bush said that he feels a responsibility to ensure each and every film reaches a quality threshold, even if that means they really need to take their time with it. Specifically, he stated that they, “have the luxury of being able to look at movies many times, so looking at Frozen 3 as, ‘Can we tell the very best story we can with that and not worry about where we’re going to split into that next story,’ is sort of important. One thing at a time is, to me, the best way to approach it.” ‘Frozen 3’ announcement at D23 2024 Then the conversation turned to music, seeing as both existing Frozen films have some of the most iconic songs in recent Disney movie history. When asked if he felt the movie had found its sound yet, Bush said, “I’d say I have an idea of what that’s going to be. That’s very exciting. I think we’ll surprise people in the best way.
