  1. Trick-or-treat, give us something good to eat! Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor Halloween Time in Disneyland is basically our favorite time of the year tbh, especially since all the treats come out to play in the parks. And, now there’s a spooktacular sundae filled with your favorite Halloween candy! The Trick-Or-Treat Sundae Duo at Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor is kinda like your Halloween candy stash, but bigger! Trick-Or-Treat Sundae Duo Sign The ice cream sundae is split down the middle with a sweet side and a sour side, and is served in a Mickey or Minnie Kitchen Sink for all types of candy lovers! Trick-Or-Treat Sundae Duo On the sour side, the sour gummy ice cream is topped with raspberry sauce, whipped cream, a cherry, a crackling candy cookie, gummy treats, and fruit candies — so basically, Sour Patch Kids, sour belts, Sour Skittles, and sour gummy worms! The Sour Side If you love sour treats, this will be your ultimate ice cream DREAM! The ice cream itself is actually very sour and had us puckering with each bite. We loovved the taste and texture of the gummies with the ice cream and whipped cream… Buuut, the sour belts and Skittles both became extremely hard with the cold temperature of the treat, so they were almost impossible to bite into! Sour Candies and Gummies On the sweet side, the chocolate ice cream is topped with hot fudge, whipped cream, a cherry, and pieces of chocolate candy bars. The Sweet Side Specifically, you can find Snickers… Snickers Candy … Mini Hershey Bars… Hershey Candy …and mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups!! Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Candy This just happened to be our favorite side. The use of different chocolate candies reminded us of the excitement of getting home from trick-or-treating to dive right into the Halloween candy collected throughout the night. The chunks of Snickers on this side were HUGE (maybe an entire bar’s worth??) and there were plenty of Hershey Bars and Reese’s Cups scattered about as well. The candies added a nice crunch to the smooth ice cream, and each bite was incredible! A Lil Bit Of Both Ice Creams! Just be warned — as soon as the two sides started mixing together, the taste got a bit strange. Make sure to plan out how you’re going to eat it with a friend before ordering! For double the sundae and the amount of candy, the $15.99 price tag is definitely worth it. Trick-Or-Treat Sundae Duo It was sweet, sour, and oh-so delicious! 2. Well, well, well, what have we here? It’s the Halloween specialty drinks at Hollywood Lounge in Disney California Adventure! Specialty Drinks at Hollywood Lounge We’ve seen SO MANY fun Halloween drinks around the parks today like the Minnie Witch Shake, Caramel Apple Shake, and a spooky Blood Orange Slush. Now let’s take a peek at 3 of the Halloween offerings over at Hollywood Lounge. Mister Oogie Boogie must be creepin’ round California Adventure. He seems to have had a hand in the creation of these creepy concoctions! Hollywood Lounge Drinks Hollywood Lounge is a GREAT spot if you’re looking for a spooky drink in California Adventure. They’re offering a selection of festive Fall beers as well as some really fun Halloween mixed drinks we were dying to try. First up, we tried the Ghoulish Delight for $4.99. This non-alcoholic cotton candy lemonade is served with a nice hunk of cotton candy, for good measure! We loved they served this drink with a lid so you could stir in (or eat — you do you!) the cotton candy as you please. This is a total sugar explosion, but it tasted great! Ghoulish Delight My Bugs! My Bugs! is Halloween in a cup! This drink is a non-alcoholic limeade slush swirled with cherry syrup with lots of wiggly gummy worms sticking out of the top! It costs $5.99. My Bugs! My Bugs! Aside from tasting great, this thing is a showstopper in the looks department!! We got so many intrigued looks walking around with this! Kids AND adults will love this one! My Bugs! My Bugs! Lastly, we tried the Oogie Boogie inspired Worms, Dice, and Everything Nice! Everybody brace yourself for this price tag though — it costs $21 dollars!!! WHAT!? Worms, Dice, and Everything Nice The higher cost is likely due to you getting 2 unique dice shaped glow cubes, but it still seems pretty steep! The drink is a Midori and limeade slush with gummy worms. It tasted pretty good, but we’d likely choose My Bugs! My Bugs! again over this one unless we were dying to get those dice! The three specialty drinks at the Hollywood Lounge are fun additions to the lineup of goodies this year for Halloween in Disneyland. Be sure to head over and check out their selection of beers and mixed drinks before the season ends! Catch up on everything we’ve found for Halloween in Disneyland HERE! 4. Right now there are so many new things to see and do at the Disneyland Resort, that it’s a great time to visit! As the Southern California sun shines bright, here are some ways to keep cool during your stay: First up is Disneyland park! Break away from the bright sun in a galaxy far, far away at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Within the planet of Batuu, you’ll find many cool places! In Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run, you can start cooling off in the cavernous path to the Main Hold of the Millennium Falcon. Once you reach this famous space, you can hang out around the Dejarik (chess) table for a few minutes before taking the controls of the fastest ship in the galaxy toward adventure and, ah, yes, a galactic breeze. As you roam Batuu, head over to the Milk Stand to enjoy a refreshing Blue Milk and Green Milk – these frozen concoctions are sure to cool you down. For crafty libations, we recommend Oga’s Cantina. This watering hole is where weary travelers of all ages can join together to refuel after a long day of adventuring. Hang out with DJ R-3X and sip on one of the many out-of-this-world non-alcoholic or alcoholic beverages. Just be sure to make a reservation to visit the cantina before you go! Around Disneyland park, guests can stay cool at guest-favorite attractions like Splash Mountain, Matterhorn Bobsleds, Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan’s Flight and many others. And of course, chill out with a Dole Whip Float from Tiki Juice Bar or The Tropical Hideaway, a Mint Julep in New Orleans Square or a delicious old-fashioned ice cream at Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor. Next, is Disney California Adventure park! Head to Hollywood Land and experience the newly opened 3D movie musical “Mickey’s PhilharMagic” in the Sunset Showcase Theater. In the show, Donald stirs up some musical mayhem while you get swept into the fantastic world of classic Disney animated musical sequences, including “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Peter Pan” and “Aladdin.” Fun fact: Some scenes are super breezy! You can also take refreshing flight on Soarin’ Around the World, get lightly drizzled or even soaked on Grizzly River Run, go on a journey with The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, join a thrilling mission with Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!, test your illustration skills in Animation Academy or take a break as you’re transported to Arendelle during the theatrical performance, “Frozen – Live at the Hyperion” in Hollywood Land. Disney California Adventure also offers amazing cold treats, like the lemon soft-serve at Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats on Pixar Pier, the hand-dipped ice cream bar at Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream, Memory Refreshers from Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff and even a delicious fruit smoothie from Schmoozies! in Hollywood Land. 6. We’re back with ANOTHER Halloween Time treat from Disney California Adventure! Caramel Apple Churro We’ve been reporting live from the parks today as we tried the Minnie Witch Shake, the Bacon-Maple Bread Pudding, and the Maleficent Churros!! Now, it’s time to review the Caramel Apple Churro. The Caramel Apple Churro ($6.50) is a classic churro dusted with green apple flavor. It’s covered in apple compote and caramel sauce. Caramel Apple Churro Sadly, our churros were a little hard. But, we still loved this fun attempt at a caramel apple treat. Caramel Apple Churro The warm apple sauce and chunks of apple really reminded us of a classic apple pie. And it was sweet, but not too sweet! We may have loved it even more if it would have been a plain churro instead of one covered in green apple flavoring!! Caramel Apple Churro You can find this at the Hollywood Churro Cart in Disney California Adventure. Join the DFB Newsletter to get all the breaking news right in your inbox! Click here to Subscribe! 7. While we’re loving all the Día de los Muertos treats over in Disney California Adventure, we’re heading to Disneyland to celebrate Coco! ©Walt Disney Studios And, just like Miguel and Héctor might say, this chocolatey and sugary treat will drive you un poco loco! The Coco Churro has arrived at the Churro Cart across from The Golden Horseshoe! Coco Churro Sign The cinnamon dusted chocolate churro comes with a spicy cocoa dipping sauce (give us ALL the chocolate!). Coco Churro The flavors of this churro were yummy but weren’t exactly anything new. The dipping sauce tasted more like a rich, chocolate sauce (still delicious). There was only a hint of spice, though, so we would have loved more combined with the cocoa!! If you adore chocolate as much as we do, you’ll definitely enjoy this treat! Coco Churro You can grab the Coco Churro for $6.25, and maybe you can hum “Remember Me” in between bites! Hungry for more? You can see all the Halloween Time treats available in Disneyland here! 8. We’re back with even more Halloween treats at Disneyland! Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe Before you fill up on Halloween churros, worms and dirt funnel cake fries, or colorful ice cream sandwiches, be sure to hop over to Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe to pick up their variety of Halloween offerings. Check them out below! Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe is always a great spot to grab specialty treats in the park. We were happy to see they still have some of their Main Street Electrical Parade treats on the menu and now today all of their Halloween offerings have materialized! First up, our favorite spooky Mummy Macaron is back on the scene! Mummy Macaron This crispy crunchy macaron is drizzled in white chocolate and filled with cookies and cream buttercream. The buttercream is the star here, folks! Trust us, you need this in your life. Get this guy for $5.99. Cookies and Cream Buttercream…YUM! The Pumpkin Layered Cheesecake for $5.79 was another returning fav from last year. Pumpkin Layered Cheesecake This is what happens when a pumpkin pie and a cheesecake fall in love. It’s creamy, fluffy and that cinnamon whipped cream is the BOMB! Layered Pumpkin Pie Cheesecake The Graveyard Cupcake is back as well with a slight change from last year. It costs $6.99. Graveyard Cupcake This thing is chocolate OVERLOAD! Chocolate cake covered in chocolate mousse covered in chocolate cookie crumbs and a white chocolate gravestone topper. The difference is in the filling — last year’s raspberry has been swapped out for a tarter cherry filling. Chocolate and cherry is always a good combo in our book! Returning as well is the Cruella De Vil Brownie for $4.99. This brownie is COVERED in white and dark chocolate mousse. Cruella de Ville Brownie The Sweet Potato Hand Pie is another returning favorite. This gives us all the Thanksgiving feels with the mini toasted marshmallows, orange white chocolate glaze, and all that not-too-sweet scrummy filling. It can be yours for $4.99! Sweet Potato Hand Pie The Spiced Bundt Cake is always a hit at Jolly Holiday. This year it’s been spookified with a dark chocolate bat topper! Spiced Bundt Cake This hasn’t changed too much over the years — subtly spiced, moist cake drenched in a vanilla glaze, topped with that yummy cinnamon whipped cream. Spiced Bundt Cake Inside Ours was super moist and hand plenty of whipped cream on top. It’s available for $5.19 and is totally a viable Halloween breakfast option if you ask us There’s also a new Toasted Salsa Roja Chicken Sandwich Combo available for $10.99. Toasted Salsa Roja Chicken Sandwich Combo This sandwich is loaded with shredded chicken tossed in a mild salsa roja and jack and cojita cheeses. It’s served with tortilla soup. Chicken Salsa Roja This was loaded with really tender shredded chicken. The salsa was very mild, but flavorful and there was plenty of ooey gooey cheese. The sandwich was perfectly toasty and crispy and tasted great dunked in the soup. About the soup though… Chicken Salsa Roja Sandwich and Tortilla Soup We noticed our soup looked less tortilla-like and more like their standard tomato soup. We asked Cast Members and they said it was, in fact, tortilla soup! Whatever it was, it tasted great with the sandwich! We are LOVING all the spooky goodies showing up around Disneyland today! 9. Every Halloween, Disneyland Park celebrates with a Nightmare Before Christmas overlay at the Haunted Mansion in New Orleans Square. The Haunted Mansion Guests love this playful and colorful overlay, which (perhaps ironically) brings new life to the classic dark ride. The overlay is seen throughout the attraction, including in the loading zone for the Mansion’s doom buggies. Nightmare Before Christmas Haunted Mansion Overlay But this year is the Haunted Mansion’s 50th anniversary (read more about the celebration here!), and the attraction overlay isn’t the only special treatment the Haunted Mansion got for Halloween Time. Indeed, there’s something special in the Grand Hall that you’re definitely going to want to see. Nightmare Before Christmas Haunted Mansion Overlay A Gingerbread Haunted Mansion within the Haunted Mansion! It’s a ghoulish meta-mansion situation, and we’re loving it! Though it’s tough to tell from the picture the DFB team snapped on the ride (no flash!), the Gingerbread Haunted Mansion is almost ten feet tall! Haunted Mansion Gingerbread Disney Parks Blog posted some up-close pics earlier today. Since the Gingerbread Mansion is on the table in the ride’s Grand Hall, guests can’t get so close — but we have to peep those details! The Mansion features the number 50 prominently for the attraction’s anniversary. Thick, multi-colored peppermint sticks serve as columns on the Mansion’s sugary front. Haunted Mansion Gingerbread Ornate green sugar work surrounds the Mansion, and “15 spirited Haunted Mansion residents” (also made of gingerbread, of course!) play their parts in recreating the iconic ride. Haunted Mansion Gingerbread Even the singing busts make an appearance…though they’re noticeably less animated in their gingerbread forms! Haunted Mansion Gingerbread There’s so much to enjoy during Disneyland Resort’s Halloween Time celebration. We’ve been digging into all kinds of tasty things — like Mile-High Apple Pie Funnel Cake, the Flavus Tropicus Parfait (it’s alien-approved!), and maybe our favorite Disneyland bread pudding yet! 10. There’s nothing like a warm slice of apple pie as you snuggle up under a blanket! Stage Door Cafe Sign And, although we aren’t quite ready for sweater weather, you can still get some great apple pie in Disneyland! The Apple Pie Funnel Cake is now baking over at Stage Door Cafe! Apple Pie Funnel Cake Sign The hot funnel cake is piled with warm apple pie, cajeta (which is a bit like dulce de leche or caramel) sauce, whipped cream, streusel crumbles, and Halloween sprinkles. Apple Pie Funnel Cake If you’ve ever wondered what heaven on a plate tastes like, this is it!! The funnel cake was fresh and crispy without getting weighed down by all the toppings. The pie itself was about 2 to 3 inches high without the whipped cream… And all that whip made it even BETTER! The pie and funnel cake practically melted in our mouths (YUM). Apple Pie Funnel Cake However, the winner of this treat was the cajeta. The sweet and slightly salty flavor tied the entire dessert together, especially when mixed with all that apple-y goodness. The themed sprinkles even added a great texture to each bite!! Seriously, you guys, you cannot pass this one up. Apple Pie Funnel Cake You can take a bite of the Apple Pie Funnel Cake for $8.99 before the Annual Passholder discount! Apple Pie Funnel Cake Check out all the other Halloween Time treats in Disneyland here! Just like a slice of apple pie, we might have to go back for seconds of this dessert. 11. Yesterday, we shared a couple of cute and fun Mike and Sulley Loungefly backpacks! Sulley Cupcake And today, a brand NEW Sulley Cupcake has made its way to Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort. And you guys, it’s SO CUTE!! The Sulley Cupcake is a classic yellow cupcake topped with buttercream, edible glitter, and chocolate horns! Sulley Cupcake And while this is one of the most adorable cupcakes we’ve ever seen, we also thought that it was super delicious! Sulley Cupcake The cupcake itself was very moist and the buttercream wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet. Sulley Cupcake There was an abundance of buttercream, which sadly started to melt in the heat. But, if you eat it quickly, it shouldn’t be thaaaat messy of a treat. Sulley Cupcake You can find the Sulley Cupcake at Intermission Food Court for $5.99 or a snack credit if you’re on the Disney Dining Plan! Do you love this new cupcake as much as we do? 12. Stitch isn’t the only Disney alien around this joint… Alien Pizza Planet The Toy Story Aliens are serving us with the latest galactic eats and treats in Disneyland! The Flavus Tropicus Parfait has caught a wave over to Alien Pizza Planet! And it’s AH-MAZING. Flavus Tropicus Parfait The parfait is layered with raspberry lime pound cake, salted pot de crème pudding, butter streusel (!!!!), raspberry sauce, pineapple crush, whipped cream, and crunch pearls. An ADORABLE chocolate medallion tops the treat, featuring an Alien holding a pineapple. Flavus Tropicus Parfait His little fruit hat is so cute I WANT TO CRY!! Flavus Tropicus Parfait Okay, for real…this parfait is one of the best we’ve ever had in Disneyland — as long as you love fruity flavors. Every bite holds a burst of refreshing pineapple crush and raspberry sauce. The textures of the thick pound cake and creamy pudding are balanced beautifully in this dessert. With the amount of ingredients, you’d think that maybe the different textures would be overwhelming, but they all combine extremely well together! We almost went back for seconds tbh. Flavus Tropicus Parfait Send your tastebuds on a galactic journey with the Flavus Tropicus Parfait for $6.99 before the Annual Passholder discount! Flavus Tropicus Parfait Next up — thick slices of pizza with ALL the toppings? Count us in! The Delicium 639 Pizza has spiced marinara sauce, assorted cheeses, onions, olives, tomatoes, and a pesto drizzle. Delicium 639 Pizza Although it’s a thick cut pizza, the crust was still crispy with every bite. While the toppings were fresh, we didn’t think they combined very well together. They just seemed like a potluck of ingredients thrown onto the slice. Delicium 639 Pizza However, we will say our favorite part was the pesto sauce. It had a unique flavor that stood out on the pizza, and we LOVED it. You can take a bite of the Delicium 639 Pizza for $8.99 before the Annual Passholder discount. Delicium 639 Pizza Now, all we need is a hug from Buzz Lightyear, and we’re good to go! The Halloween Time treats will be available from September 6 – October 31! 13. It’s time to celebrate Día de los Muertos at Disneyland! Dia De Los Muertos Decor at Rancho Del Zocalo We’ve been sharing with you all the spooky Halloween treats to materialize in Disneyland throughout the day, including the wicked Maleficent Churro, the Blood Orange Slush, and SO MUCH MORE! Let’s check out some of the Mexican inspired treats at Disneyland this Halloween season! Head to Frontierland’s Rancho del Zocalo to find all the festive goodies. Halloween Snacks at Rancho del Zocalo First up, we HAD to try the Pan Dulce Ice Cream Sandwich. Just look at all the pretty colors going on! Pan Dulce Ice Cream Sandwich This hefty treat is made with a pink and blue concha type Mexican sweet bread. It is stuffed with dulce de leche ice cream, cajeta (which is a goat milk-based caramel), and churro streusel. A big ol’ pile of whipped cream and a colorful white chocolate sugar skull round out the decorations. You can get one for $7.99. Pan Dulce Ice Cream Sandwich Our bread was super crunchy with all the crusted sugar, and all the caramel flavors in the cajeta and dulce de leche ice cream really came through. The churro streusel had a nice crunch and added a bit of cinnamon flavor, but we would have liked a LOT more! If you want more conchas in your life, you can still find these adorable concha ears around Disneyland as well! The rest of these treats were part of last year’s Halloween offerings! The Frozen Abuelita Horchata is layered frozen hot chocolate and frozen horchata topped with spiced whipped cream. It costs $5.99. Frozen Horchata Ours was less layered and more swirled, but the flavors were still all there! The chocolate flavor mixed really well with the cinnamony horchata. We didn’t pick up much spice flavoring in the whipped cream itself, but it had a light dusting of cinnamon on top. The Orange Sugar Skull Pot de Crème shared the same colorful skull as the Pan Dulce Ice Cream Sandwich! Orange Sugar Skull Pot de Creme This treat was made with layers of thick creamy chocolate pudding and crumbled chocolate cake. The orange sugar skull is made of white chocolate and, while cute, doesn’t bring much flavor to the party! This is a simple treat most chocolate fans will love. The final Halloween offering at this spot we first saw a few weeks back for the Haunted Mansion’s 50th Birthday. The Long-Forgotten Duelist Tacos The Long-Forgotten Duelist Tacos are a nod to our favorite pistol-wielding spooks in the Haunted Mansion! This comes with 2 fry bread tacos — one fajita beef and one butter chicken. They’re served with pickled veggies and Mexican rice. It will run you $13.49. Duelist Tacos Ours weren’t quite as pretty as the picture on the sign but these tasted really good! Heads up, cilantro haters — these come with a good bit on top, so be sure to let them know when ordering if you’d prefer them without it. Duelist Taco Each taco had a tangy, creamy sauce that didn’t bring much heat, and the pickled veggies were crunchy and really brightened the tacos up. We had a hard time picking which of the 2 we liked best!! Rancho del Zocalo is a great spot for some more unique Halloween offerings at the park. We loved seeing concha bread featured this year! 14. Happy Halloween Time!! The celebrations have officially kicked off in Disneyland and we’re reporting LIVE from the parks. Halloween Time We’ve already tried the Maleficent Churro, the Witch Minnie Shake, and the Maple-Bacon Bread Pudding!! Now, we’re trying a few NEW treats from Award Wieners in Disney California Adventure. Award Wieners is serving Oogie Worms and Dirt Funnel Cake Fries, Rest In Peace-Strami Dog, and the Rest In Peace-Strami Fries for Halloween Time this year. Award Wieners Halloween Time Menu The Oogie Worms and Dirt Funnel Cake Fries ($8.99) are topped with crushed chocolate creme-filled cookies, cream cheese sauce, cookie pieces, gummy candies, chocolate-coated candies, and whipped cream! Oogie Worms and Dirt Funnel Cake Fries These are very similar to other funnel cake fries we’ve had in the past, they just had a bit more candy on top. Overall, they’re pretty yummy and have a nice sweet flavor. But, Funnel Cake Fries rarely blow us away. Oogie Worms and Dirt Funnel Cake Fries The Rest In Peace-Strami Dog is an all-beef hot dog topped with pastrami, caramelized onions, pickles, and a mustard sauce. Rest in Peace-Strami Dog They also have the Rest In Peace-Strami Fries which are filmstrip fries topped with pastrami, caramelized onions, pickles, and a mustard sauce! Rest in Peace-Strami Fries We LOVED both of these!! Especially since they tasted like a pastrami sandwich. All of the ingredients were fresh and super delicious. Like, so yummy that we could have eaten two more!! Rest in Peace-Strami Dog You’ll be able to find the Halloween Time treats around Disneyland Resort from September 6 – October 31st! 15. Mouse ears are some of the most quintessential Disney Park souvenirs and Disney’s collection of designer ears have been all the rage this year! 16. Pumpkin Spice cupcakes, pumpkin spice milkshakes, pumpkin spice beignets — it’s definitely Fall in Disney World, you guys! Germany Pavilion in Epcot And, over at the World Showcase in Epcot, we’ve spotted a NEW boozy take on the classic, spicy flavor! The Mozart Chocolate Cream Pumpkin Spice Liqueur has returned to the Germany Pavilion! Mozart Chocolate Cream Pumpkin Spice Liqueur Bottle While you can get a shot of the chocolate and pumpkin spice-flavored alcohol for $11, you can also buy the bottle for $36. (You may want to shell out the money for this one, y’all!) Mozart Chocolate Cream Pumpkin Spice Liqueur Bottle After we ordered the shot, we had to take a sec to take in the scent. The strong pumpkin and chocolate notes were absolutely heavenly! And, just look at that gorgeous color! Mozart Chocolate Cream Pumpkin Spice Liqueur Shot Even though we are HUGE pumpkin spice fans, we still have to say that this is one of the best pumpkin-flavored treats we have ever tried in Disney World. After taking one sip of the chilled Mozart Chocolate Cream Pumpkin Spice Liqueur, we were blown away. Each smooth flavor comes through at a different time — first the alcohol, then the rich chocolate, and finally the pumpkin spice aftertaste. Mozart Chocolate Cream Pumpkin Spice Liqueur Shot (Sooo, we definitely want to buy an entire bottle now and are already pricing it out online.) Mozart Chocolate Cream Pumpkin Spice Liqueur Shot Who wants to watch Hocus Pocus and Halloweentown with us while we do some chocolate pumpkin spice shots? Anyone? Have you tried the chocolate and pumpkin spice alcoholic drink in Epcot yet? Let us know in the comments below! Related posts: Review: Is Epcot’s Nine Dragons Worth a Visit? You May Be Surprised! 17. We’ve already hopped on the trendy bandwagon for Disney’s latest color trend — Arendelle Aqua! ©Disney The snacks, drinks, and merchandise aren’t supposed to officially release until September 13th. Or so we thought… Because guess what!! We ALREADY found the Arendelle Aqua Lemonade at Block and Hans in Epcot! Arendelle Aqua Lemonade The Arendelle Aqua Lemonade ($13.00) is a frozen lemonade with Monin Cotton Candy and Ole Smoky Blackberry Moonshine. Arendelle Aqua Lemonade We not only love the color of this drink, but it tasted pretty dang good too. The cotton candy flavor was REALLY overpowered by the moonshine, but we didn’t mind that. You could still taste a hint of the cotton candy, but it was very light and sort of an afternote. Arendelle Aqua Lemonade Overall, this drink was simple and refreshing! Block and Hans should have a non-alcoholic version of this drink VERY SOON. It’ll be made with cotton candy and lemonade, so be on the lookout!! We cannot wait for Arendelle Aqua to freeze over Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. You can check out the full collection here! Are you excited about the new collection? 20. Hello there, friends!! We’re back with EVEN MORE Halloween Time treats at Disneyland Resort. Maple-Bacon Bread Pudding We’ve been live at the park trying out the Minnie Witch Shake, the Haul-O-Ween Churro, and the Blood Orange Slush! And now it’s time to try what quite possibly might be the BEST seasonal bread pudding EVER!! You can find the MAPLE-BACON…yes bacon, Bread Pudding at Pacific Wharf Café for $5.39 before an AP discount this Halloween season. Pacific Wharf Cafe Menu This new bread pudding is topped with whipped cream, maple glaze, and candied bacon. The bacon tasted like it had a bit of brown sugar on it and there were a few tiny bits of bacon sprinkled throughout the bread pudding. Maple-Bacon Bread Pudding It was COVERED in maple glaze and the bread pudding had the best texture. There was also a really nice balance of sweet and salty and neither flavor overtook the other. Maple-Bacon Bread Pudding We have a fondness for bacon, so honestly, we LOVED this thing and we think it may even pass up our previous favorite, the Cheesecake Bread Pudding. Maple-Bacon Bread Pudding I mean, my mouth is STILL watering as I type this because it was so good. Pacific Wharf is also where you can find the returning Mickey Fang Bread. Mickey Fang Bread You can read our full review of this cute and delicious treat here!! The Halloween Time treats will be available from September 6 – October 31! 21. It’s Halloween time, and all of our favorite villains are out to play! ©Walt Disney Studios However, we’re especially excited to catch a glimpse of Maleficent after watching the Maleficent: Mistress of Evil trailer and behind-the-scenes featurette. And, we’re ready to celebrate this wicked villainess with a returning treat in Disneyland! The Maleficent Churro has made its dramatic entrance at the Churro Cart in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle! Although we’ve seen this previously during last year’s line-up of Halloween treats, we are more than happy to welcome this dessert once again. Maleficent Churro Sign The Maleficent Churro is dusted in chocolate cookie crumbles and green sugar, served with a marshmallow dipping sauce. Maleficent Churro Okay, so we LOVE churros (still dreaming about that Chocolate Peanut Butter Churro from the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival)… But this churro? It’s almost like Maleficent cast a spell on us with how good it is!! Maleficent Churro The churro itself has a great texture, mixed with the chocolatey taste of the cookie crumbles. Although, when you pair it with the marshmallow dipping sauce, the Maleficent Churro is scary delicious!! The churro melted in our mouths with every bite, combined with the sweet flavor of the marshmallow. We couldn’t get enough of it! Maleficent Churro But, be warned! Maleficent is always up to no-good, and the cookie crumbles will smear if you try to wipe them off your clothes! Maleficent Churro You can take a bite of the Maleficent Churro for $5.75 plus $1 extra for the marshmallow dip (which we highly recommend). Check out more Disneyland Food Reviews Here!! 22. Your lack of treats is disturbing… That’s why you need to head over to Disneyland to try these new AND returning Halloween Time treats! Galactic Grill While we’ve one of these items before on the Star Wars: Season of the Force Menu, Galactic Grill has welcomed the Blood Orange Slush and Darth By Chocolate Parfait for the spooky season! The Blood Orange Slush is blended with raspberry syrup and topped with a blinking poison apple (it kinda looks like Darth Vader’s melted mask, doesn’t it?). Blood Orange Slush While the flavor of the blood orange had a zing without being too tangy, the raspberry syrup in the slush was a bit underwhelming. The syrup happened to stick to the sides of the cup, and we had to scoop it up with a spoon just to get a taste! Although we thought the slush was delicious, we think it would have been even better with more raspberry flavor. Blood Orange Slush You can get the Tatooine sunset-colored Blood Orange Slush for $7.59 before the Annual Passholder discount and pair it with… Blood Orange Slush …the Darth By Chocolate Parfait! This dessert is BACK and ready to lure guests over to the dark side with the red velvet cake, chocolate cake, dark chocolate mousse, chocolate ganache, and cookies that make up the layered parfait. A chocolate Darth Vader Mask and red lightsaber add the final touch to the treat (the Sith Lord has never looked better!). Darth By Chocolate Parfait The mousse in this parfait was INCREDIBLE!! While it was light and fluffy, it was packed with chocolatey goodness. And, the cookies pair perfectly with it, adding a crunch to every bite! We’re pretty sure that Darth himself would love this treat (can he even eat with that mask??) Darth By Chocolate Parfait The only thing we would change is adding more red velvet cake on the bottom. Just like the last time we tried this dessert, the red velvet was relatively thin and difficult to taste. You may want to share this one with a friend because it is very rich (but satisfying). Darth By Chocolate Parfait Join Anakin‘s side to rule the galaxy with the Darth by Chocolate Parfait for $5.99 before the Annual Passholder discount! 23. We’re baaaaaack with another Halloween Time treat! Halloween Time As we’ve been reporting live from the parks, we’ve spotted a few new and returning treats like the Witch Minnie Shake! But, now we’re biting into the Haul-O-Ween Churro from Cozy Cone Motel! The Haul-O-Ween Churro ($5.99) is rolled in crumbled chocolate cream-filled cookies, green icing, gummy worms, and candies! Cozy Cone Halloween Time Offerings Honestly, the icing is a little messy and stained our teeth, so we ended up looking a bit like Oogie Boogie. Haul-O-Ween Churro But, the flavors were good and we loved the cream filling! It was both light and airy and added a good texture to the churro. We just wish that there would have been a bit more filling. Haul-o-Ween Churro But overall, we enjoyed this one more than we have enjoyed the Avengers churros we’ve seen around the parks in the past. Haul-O-Ween Churro And do you remember the Tire Pumpkin Straws that were available around Disneyland Resort last year? Well, they’re BACK!! Tire Pumpkin Straw And, just in case you’re looking for one but happen to be at Disney World, we have found them there too! Join the DFB Newsletter to get all the breaking news right in your inbox!
