RED ALERT!!! While we reported yesterday that there’s a new Ronto-less Garden Wrap at Ronto Roasters in Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge, a new Chicken Ronto Wrap has just entered the Battu’s atmosphere in Disney World!!! Exterior of Ronto Roasters We’re already totally obsessed with the classic roasted pork Ronto Wrap, so how will the Chicken Ronto stack up? Let’s find out! If you’ve visited this Black Spire Outpost eatery before, you’ll know that all its tasty meats are prepared over an open flame by Ronto Roasters’ very own Pitmaster Droid! But it looks like another meat has been added to his grill — that’s right friends! He’s cookin’ up some nummy lookin’ CHICKEN now! Pitmaster Droid Prepare your tastebuds to make the jump to hyperspace, because we’re about to punch it! Here it is — the new Chicken Ronto Wrap. Chicken Ronto Wrap While the original Ronto Wrap (which you can read our review of here!) features grilled pork sausage, peppercorn sauce, and a tangy slaw, the new Chicken Ronto Wrap has marinated flame-seared chicken, cucumber relish, and an herb feta yogurt sauce! Chicken Ronto Wrap We seriously dig Greek-style eats, so the new Chicken Ronto Wrap was firing on all cylinders for us! LOADS of freshly diced cucumber and some nice brininess from the pickled relish, without adding too much salt! Chicken Ronto Wrap But we didn’t think the yogurt sauce was especially flavorful — it lacked some of the zippiness we were expecting. The sauce was still tasty though, and made the Chicken Ronto Wrap very light and refreshing for a big pita bread sandwich! Chicken Ronto Wrap Check out the Chicken Ronto Wrap at Hollywood Studio’s Galaxy’s Edge today for $12.49! No word yet on if it’ll be making its way to Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge yet, but we’ll keep you posted! Are you excited to try the new Chicken Ronto Wrap at Disney World’s Ronto Roasters? Well, now we’ve found the same ornaments and MORE at the Castle Holiday Shoppe in Disneyland. Mickey Ice Cream Bar Ornament The new ornaments are full of festive fun like this Mickey gingerbread man. Just look at that face! Gingerbread Mickey Ornament It looks like the ornaments were made to represent holiday versions of Disney snacks. This Minnie Christmas cookie sure looks good enough to eat! Minnie Cookie Ornament We love the classic look of peppermint spirals making up a Mickey ornament. And a certainly jolly little ornament is found in this snowman chocolate apple decoration! It’s the perfect way to make sure your sweet tooth gets a place on your tree. There are also some more classic Disney snacks represented. This Dole Whip ornament looks just as good as the real thing. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland has recently received a bunch of menu additions like the Ronto-less Garden Wrap, Chocolate Popcorn, and Cinnamon Sugar Kyryll Pork Rinds. Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo Entrance And now, kiddos have another option thanks to the new Garden Patty Bun at Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo. This Garden Patty Bun is a plant-based patty served in a bao, with a roasted carrot, a Cuties mandarin, and your choice of milk or water. Garden Patty Bun This is a Kids’ Disney Check Meal and it falls under the umbrella of the new plant-based items that Disney has recently introduced. You can read all about these new plant-based items here. Garden Patty Bun While this is certainly a healthier option, we question how many kids will actually find this meal appealing. It came with a sauce on the side that added a nice flavor, but without it, the meal fell a little flat, even for our adult palettes! However, more adventurous eaters may enjoy this dish (have a plan B just in case). Garden Patty Bun You can find the Garden Patty Bun at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland for $9.99. Read our review of Docking Bay 7 at Disneyland here! Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo in Disney World has just made some drastic changes to its lunch and dinner menus! Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo in Disney World And while the offerings at this counter-service Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge restaurant haven’t changed very much, (more on this in a sec!), how you order your Fried Endorian Tip-Yip has! That’s because Disney has removed the Star Wars-themed language from Docking Bay 7’s lunch and dinner menus! Here’s a before photo of the selections that have been available since Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened on August 29th of this year. Docking Bay 7’s Previous Dinner Menu As you can see, each entrée has a fun Star Wars moniker, so instead of asking for the Smoked Pork Ribs, you’d tell the Cast Member, “Smoked Kaadu Ribs, please!” Former Menu Board at Docking Bay 7 Maybe that was too much fantasy for some folks (or too difficult for many people to pronounce!) because as of this morning, all of the Star Wars terminology is no longer on the menu! Is it just us, or does this make for one very standard-looking menu in a very out-of-the-ordinary dining spot? I mean, are we supposed to be in a galaxy far, far away, or aren’t we? ©Disney The change was made, per a Cast Member at Docking Bay 7, to ease confusion for many guests. While we sorta agree that Beef Pot Roast might sound more appealing to the masses, if you’re in the middle of Batuu, noshing on a Braised Shaak Roast felt much more in the spirit of it all. We’re gonna miss the Star Wars whimsy in those names! ©Disney Good news though for you folks who enjoyed Disney World’s previous version of Docking Bay 7’s menu (with all the Star Wars names!) As of right now, Docking Bay 7’s breakfast menu STILL HAS all the Star Wars terms, like the Bright Suns Breakfast Platter! Bright Suns Breakfast Platter As for those minor menu tweaks we mentioned to you earlier, the Fried Chicken at Disney World’s Docking Bay 7 now comes with your choice of Vegetable Mashed Potatoes with Herb Gravy or Mac and Cheese with Roasted Vegetables! Fried Chicken And the Shimp & Noodle Salad that used to only have veggies NOW comes with papaya and cashews! We also spotted a new vegetarian kids menu item — Impossible Marinara and Pasta! ©Disney Read our Docking Bay 7 Review here! For some reason, Disneyland’s Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo has been unaffected by these menu changes, but they DID get a few new items on the menu recently! We’ll keep you updated if we spot any differences! What do you think of Disney’s decision to remove the Star Wars language from it’s Disney World Galaxy’s Edge menu? When it premiered six years ago, “Frozen” became an instant classic, as audiences embraced the music-filled tale of two sisters. Next month, their story continues with the debut of Disney’s epic new adventure, “Frozen 2.” Here’s a special message from two of the stars of the film, Kristen Bell and Josh Gad. For a limited time this fall, guests visiting Disney Parks and sailing with Disney Cruise Line will get an early glimpse of scenes from “Frozen 2.” Beginning Nov. 3, a special look at moments from the film will be presented in the Hyperion Theater at Disney California Adventure park, for guests gathered to experience the “Frozen – Live at the Hyperion” stage spectacular. Sneak Peeks of the film will also be shown in the Studio Theater at Walt Disney Studios park in Disneyland Paris starting Nov. 4, as part of the Walt Disney Presents attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios beginning on Nov. 5, and onboard Disney Cruise Line during the month of November. In Disney’s new adventure, “Frozen 2,” Elsa sets out together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, on a dangerous but remarkable journey to discover why she was born with magical powers. The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom. Elsa once feared her powers were too much for the world. Now, she must hope they are enough. Disney’s “Frozen 2” arrives in U.S. theaters on November 22, 2019 View the full article

Bright Suns! Disneyland has recently introduced a few new menu items like the Ronto-less Garden Wrap and the Cinnamon Sugar Kyryll Pork Rinds in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Kat Saka’s Kettle But, these aren’t the only new items they’ve added to the menus as they have also introduced new Chocolate Popcorn at Kat Saka’s Kettle! Kat Saka’s Kettle doesn’t serve your everyday popcorn you find in those carts on planet Earth. Instead, they serve Outpost Mix, which is a strange blend of spicy and fruity flavors. You can read our full review here. Chocolate Popcorn And now, the NEW Chocolate Popcorn has popped onto the menu. Chocolate Popcorn We are here for the idea of chocolate-flavored popcorn! I mean, it’s a little-known secret that chocolate can pair well with salt, and we found the flavor balance in this popcorn to be spot-on. It was almost like biting into salty Cocoa Puffs, in the best way possible. Some pieces were coated with Red Salt, of course, mined from the planet Crait. Chocolate Popcorn This is a great snack to share with your party…or to keep all to yourself and you can grab a bag for $6.49! Join the DFB Newsletter to get all the breaking news right in your inbox! Exciting news, folks! Remember all those Designer Ears we’ve been tellin’ ya about lately? Well, we’ve got another one that’s comin’ for ya tomorrow and they’re super coooool!!! ©Disney Jerrod Maruyama We’ve been nervously adjusting our glasses and sipping our Americanos in anticipation of their release, but now the wait is almost over! Jerrod Maruyama’s Hipster Mickey Ears are FINALLY debuting tomorrow! Inspired by Disney artist Jerrod Maruyama’s original artwork entitled, “Happiest Hipster on Earth”, the Hipster Mickey Ears feature the mood of the print with Hipster Mickey’s signature slouched beanie and retro plastic frames! Looking to see where you can snag a discount when shopping at Walt Disney World? World of Disney Well now, this should be easier than ever to keep track of as Disney has added a new “View Discounts” button to the select merchandise pages on the Disney World website. While most Disney merchandise locations at Disney World offer the same discounts, this new feature gives guests a way to check in advance whether or not a store will accept the discount they’re trying to use. To view the feature, head to one of Disney’s merchandise pages such as for Black Spire Outfitters or The Emporium. Once on the page, you will now see a new button right under the name of the shop. Give it a click and you’ll see a pop-up window that lists all of the discounts at this shopping location. Cool, right? © Disney Currently, it seems like the feature only shows broad whole store discounts. The most commonly listed discounts are Annual Passholder Discounts (usually 20% off) and Disney Vacation Club Discounts. © Disney We’re excited about this new feature and are eager to see if and how Disney expands it! Disneyland has been taking notes from its younger yet larger sibling, Walt Disney World, and playing around with more digital options for visitors, including paperless FastPasses. Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland We recently shared the news that Disneyland would be testing new FastPass kiosks in front of Tomorrowland Theater where you’ll be able to link FastPasses digitally to your phone via the Disneyland app. Good news Disneyland folks, it’s NOW OPEN! Tomorrowland FastPass Kiosk NOW OPEN! New signage will direct you to the three FastPass distribution centers. Despite there being only three machines for the entire land, there wasn’t a crowd and we were able to get our FastPass within a minute of arriving. Tomorrowland FastPass Kiosk When it comes to booking, you will still only be allowed to reserve one FastPass at a time. Currently, the kiosk will only issue FastPasses for Space Mountain, Star Tours, and Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters! To get a FastPass, you will scan your park pass (paper or mobile) at the kiosk and select which attraction you want a FastPass for. Then, you will be given a return time as normal. Tomorrowland FastPass Kiosk When we were visiting, Cast Members were in place with handheld scanners that could also distribute FastPasses. These Cast Members are also there in case you have ANY questions. So, if you’re having a hard time figuring out this new system, don’t be afraid to ask for a bit of assistance! It’s also super important to note that if you have the Disneyland app, a reminder automatically appears for you to remember your FastPass return time, BUT if you do not have the app, there is NO other way to remind you of your return time. So, we suggest snapping a photo of the screen! FastPass Notification Once you’re in your return window, you will simply scan your park ticket at the attraction’s FastPass entrance! Overall, we found the experience super quick and easy. While it is an adjustment, we have found most of our Disneyland mobile experiences like MaxPass and Mobile Order to be very useful! We’re excited to see how this next digital step plays out in Disneyland. Are you? Join the DFB Newsletter to get all the breaking news right in your inbox! Click here to Subscribe! This week, our Disney Doodles series continues to showcase the best Disney witches from Disney film history. Today, artist Ashley Taylor imagines what Mother Gothel from the 2010 film “Tangled” would do if she had the chance to visit Magic Kingdom Park. According to her, this meddling mother just may use a visit to try to interfere with Rapunzel’s happiness again. “The lanterns in the Magic Kingdom provide such a beautiful glow,” Ashley said. “It’s easy to imagine Mother Gothel wanting to take them down to prevent Rapunzel from enjoying them.” View the full article

A trip back to Batuu was in order as Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland, at less than five months old, is introducing new food options at a hyperspace speed! Ronto Roasters We’re especially excited to try the Happabore Sampler, a charcuterie plate with cured meats, artisanal cheeses, some crunchy bits, and picked vegetables, to hit the already solid lineup at Oga’s Cantina. With varying dietary needs for visitors, Vegans seem to be getting a lot of attention on Disney property with the recent MAJOR upgrades, like plant-based cuisine guides, over 400+ vegan and vegetarian options, and now a Ronto-less garden wrap at Ronto Roasters. But fear not, carnivores! Disney hasn’t forgotten our pork-loving friends and just launched today a very NOT VEGAN ITEM — Cinnamon Sugar Kyryll Pork Rinds. The force was strong with our high hopes for this new item. (HELLO! Ronto Roasters is THE spot to go in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge for their DELICIOUS and seriously addictive Ronto Wrap. This place knows their way around some meat!). Kyryll Pork Rinds The portable snack is a cute play on Puffer Pig, from the Star Wars Rebels animates series. We were already hesitant to try them because they are so adorable (and also available stuffed in NOT fried form at The Creature Stall). Puffer Pig at The Creature Stall Kyryll Pork Rinds are available a la carte for $7.49 or served in an MSE-6 Series Repair Droid souvenir vessel for $19.99. Unfortunately, the new Kyrll Pork Rinds were a BIG swing and a miss for us. While the texture was light and packed a nice crunch like you’d expect from your favorite truck stop pork rinds, the flavor was very inconsistent. Some were generously coated in the cinnamon sugar while others had barely any coating. Kyryll Pork Rinds They were served warm but did not seem very fresh AT ALL. The pre-packaged bags were sitting in a warmer for an unknown amount of time. We suggest if you’re looking for a meaty snack over at Ronto Roasters, fork over the couple extra dollars for a Ronto Wrap or pick up a bag of their Nuna Turkey Jerky on your next visit. Kyryll Pork Rinds If you’re dying for a cinnamon-flavored snack (that we actually LOVE!), journey a few steps outside of Galaxy’s Edge and grab a fresh churro in neighboring Frontierland. Can’t go wrong there, friends!! Check out the breakfast offerings at Ronto Roasters by clicking HERE! Join the DFB Newsletter to get all the breaking news right in your inbox! New food alert at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland! Ronto Roasters Just a few days ago, Disney announced NEW menu items coming to the planet of Batuu! We tried the latest food items to come to this distant planet and there’s one we REALLY want to share with you guys. The Ronto-less Garden Wrap at Ronto Roasters is a meatless alternative to the popular Ronto Wrap. It’s featured ingredient is a plant-based sausage garnished with spicy kimchi slaw, sweet pickled cucumber, and gochujang spread, all wrapped in a warm pita. Ronto-Less Garden Wrap With the announcement of more plant-based menu items coming to both Disney World and Disneyland, we were excited to see some of those options appear in Galaxy’s Edge. If you’ve tried Impossible Meat or Beyond Meat, this sausage will taste very familiar! Ronto-Less Garden Wrap The meatless sausage pita comes topped with spicy kimchi slaw, pickled cucumber, and Gochujang spread, but we found there to be hardly any heat present at all. This will be good news to those who are wary of spicy food, but a disappointment to fans of heat (like us!). Ronto-Less Garden Wrap The slaw and the pickled cucumbers gave the wrap a nice crunch and complemented the “sausage” and pita surprisingly well. Overall, we were impressed by the flavor of this wrap and are eager to try it again! We are BIG TIME fans of the OG Ronto Wrap but if you’re looking for a meatless alternative, this will fit the bill quite nicely! You can try it for yourself for $12.99! We’re normally not ones to lose our heads over new Disney merch… Haunted Mansion Diorama …but these new Haunted Mansion Dioramas have us seriously freaking out! Just wait until you see what’s inside! There are two new Haunted Mansion Dioramas currently at the Disney parks — “The Attic”, which features Constance Hatchaway, the infamous Black Widow bride, and “Séance Circle”, which boasts the spooks of all spooks, Madame Leota, in the flesh — err, crystal ball, rather! Haunted Mansion Diorama Closer inspection of the packaging reveals The Attic Diorama includes 32 pieces while Séance Circle Diorama only has 22 pieces. Usually mo’ pieces = mo’ money, but such is not the case here! Both sets are priced the same at $24.99! Haunted Mansion Diorama Time to reveal what these things actually LOOK like! Get ready to have you crypt doors creak and tombstones quake cuz these Haunted Mansion Dioramas are about to rock your world! Here’s what “The Attic” Diorama looks like! The Attic Diorama See what we MEAN? This thing is CRAAAAAZY! Just look at the sheer amount of visual detail in EVERY SINGLE PIECE! This thing’s more satisfying than a 32 piece chicken nugget — although we don’t recommend eating the pieces! From its miniature chaise lounge to its empty birdcage, globe, trunk, pedestal and wedding cake, we feel like we’re on a teeny-tiny Haunted Mansion! And there’s so many hats and hatboxes, but sadly no Hatbox Ghost in sight! (But if you’re looking for him, check out the Hatbox Ghost Tiki Mug for sale at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort here!) Haunted Mansion Diorama But let’s chat about everyone’s beloved (but luckily not betrothed!) hatchet-wielding bride for a sec because she seriously gives us the CHILLS! Girlfriend’s got some problems, but we’re totally diggin’ her in this diorama! Haunted Mansion Diorama Now let’s take a peek at Séance Circle! “Serpents, and spiders, tail of a rat… Call in the spirits, wherever they’re at!” Haunted Mansion Diorama Why it’s almost like we can faintly hear Madame Leota’s incantations! And what’s up with the ringing bell? We can see her book of spells off to the side — looks like a real page-turner. Haunted Mansion Diorama But the real showstopper piece is Madame Leota herself! She’s encased in her crystal ball — just like in the ride! We’re definitely picking up on some of those sympathetic vibrations she’s sending our way. Haunted Mansion Diorama The back of both Haunted Mansion Dioramas features the same spooky pattern with bats, candelabras, and headstones. Haunted Mansion Diorama We found both Haunted Mansion Dioramas at Memento Mori in the Magic Kingdom. And don’t forget to swing by Big Top Souvenirs in Storybook Circus to scope out the new Mr. Toad Magicband we spotted today, too! #TAKEALLOURMONEY Will you be hopping on your doombuggy and hurrying to Momento Mori to nab these Haunted Mansion Dioramas? It’s almost time! Get ready to sip and munch to your heart’s delight: The 2019 Food and Wine Classic at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts is almost here! Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort We’ve been eagerly awaiting all of the delicious-sounding food and beverages since February when the menus were released, and then once again in April when even more new items were added! Now we’re back with MORE information and more importantly, TASTING NOTES! That’s right, friends, — today we actually SAMPLED many of this year’s new offerings (along with some oldies, but goodies!) during a special preview event! The 2019 Food and Wine Classic will take place on Friday, November 8, and Saturday, November 9, 2019. Celebrating its 10th year, the annual event is held in the Causeway between the Swan and Dolphin resorts. There are a number of seminars offered as well as a variety of unique food and drink options. Hang 10 Booth Many of the offerings are from the resorts’ 17 unique restaurants and lounges and the fest itself will feature a total of 69 food and beverage booths this year! This year’s main focus is going to be on delicious wines with selections from over 30 wineries! It will also be the first time South African wine will be offered at the Classic! Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic See the menus for this year’s Food and Wine Classic here! The Food and Wine Classic will also be expanding this year to include new areas that will showcase Swan and Dolphin’s culinary artistry in a new light! Get ready to play some beach blanket bingo at the new Beach Bash area which will be home to the new food booth, Hang 10! Closeby, there will even be an outdoor stage with bands belting out some classic 60s surfers tunes! If beach jams aren’t your thing, check out the live band that will be performing in the Bubble Lounge where you can enjoy some delicious champagne and listen to Gabtsy-inspired 1920s swing music! Bubbles at Swan and Dolphin’s Food and Wine Classic And now with even more vegan and vegetarian options at this year’s fest than ever before, we’re ready to give you the low-down on what you’ll be chowing down on in just a few short weeks! Eats Shula’s Steak House Shula’s Steak House is serving up a Roasted Angus Beef Tenderloin with Idaho-Mashed Potatoes, Caramelized Mushrooms, and Sauce Bordelaise! And while it’s not new to the Food and Wine Classic, the flavors of the dish are still singing a great tune! Roasted Angus Beef Tenderloin Our tenderloin was cooked just right! We loved the mashed potatoes, mushrooms and rich sauce that accompanied the beef, too! This dish is still a clear winner in our books, and not to be missed! You’ll be able to snag yourself a tenderloin on both Friday and Saturday! Smokin’ D’s Next, we tried the NEW Hand Crafted Smoked Duroc Pork Belly with Beer Bread Puree, Honey Fluid Gel, Pickled Pearl Onion, and Crispy Onion Chards from Smokin’ D’s BBQ! Smoked Doruc Pork Belly The pork belly had an amazing smokey flavor with just the right amount of sweetness from BBQ sauce! The texture wasn’t quite as tender as we would’ve liked but that beer bread purée is totally killer — we could have eaten a bowl of it! The pork belly will only be available on Friday, so if this sounds like something you’d enjoy, make your plans accordingly! Garden Grove Next up, we sunk our teeth into the Maryland Crab Cake Slider with an Old Bay Remoulade served on a Toasted Brioche Bun at the Swan’s Garden Grove food booth — another festival favorite! Maryland Crab Cake Slider And it still a big hit with us after all these years! We’re total suckers for delicious golden brown crab cakes, but then you throw a brioche bun up in the mix and you got yourself one heck of a delight! Ours featured LOTS of fresh crab! It will be available only on Friday, FYI! Il Mulino Now we’re turning our attention to the NEW Organic Kabucha Squash-Filled Ravioli with Pumpkin and Sage “Gremolata”, Pumpkin Crema and Pecorino Cheese! Kabucha Squash-Filled Ravioli Another perfect bite! The squash filling was phenomenal — the sage wasn’t overpowering and paired nicely with the earthy sweetness from the pumpkin! There was also a decent kick of garlic to it, which made it kinda hard to stop eating! Oh, and that shredded pecorino was totally addictive (umm…cheese!)!! Ravioli will only be around on Friday, so mark your calendars! Todd English’s bluezoo From Todd English’s bluezoo we sampled the NEW Pan-Seared Rock Fish served with Cotechino, Toasted Fregola, Romanesco and Lambrusco! Pan-Seared Rock Fish This dish did not disappoint! The Rock Fish was expertly-prepared with a crispy skin and nice flaky texture while the sausage had a nice sear and gave it some nice saltiness! You’ll only be able to catch the Rock Fish on Saturday, so you have some tough decisions to make! Hang 10 At Hang 10, we’re feasting on the NEW Hearts of Palm Ceviche with Thinly Sliced Fresh Hearts of Palm, Lime Juice, Bermuda Onion, Bell Pepper and Chili Peppers! Hearts of Palm For us, this dish wasn’t a real knock out. It did have a very light and refreshing taste, but we just weren’t blown away. You’ll be able to sample it for yourself both Friday and Saturday. Read more about Hang 10 at this year’s fest here! Fresh Mediterranean Market Meanwhile Fresh Mediterranean Market was serving up a NEW Vegan Pho with Rice Noodles, Bok Choy, Carrot, Bamboo Shoots, Vegan Broth, Hoisin, and spicy Sriracha! Vegan Pho But the pho wasn’t a favorite of ours. It was a little difficult to eat and the broth didn’t pack the umami flavor we were hoping for. It will be offered on Saturday of the Food and Wine Classic. Cabana Bar and Beach Club Next, we tasted the NEW Vegetarian Rice Bowl with Roasted Vegetables, Seasoned Sushi Rice, and Tempura Crunch from Cabana Bar. Vegan Rice Bowl We thought the rice bowl tasted very good! It wasn’t too heavy and really hit the spot on a warm day — the perfect light, refreshing bite! It will be available for you to try on Friday! Laurent Branlard Dessert Stations For dessert we sampled both of Friday’s selections. We started with the Key Lime Curd Frangipane with Carved Caramelized Pineapple, Coconut Sorbet, Coconut Streusel, and Vanilla Coconut Milk Tapioca! Key Lime Curd Frangipane We loved the bright notes of citrus from the lime and of course, you can’t go wrong with all that delicious pineapple! We weren’t exactly big fans of tapioca because we’re just not in love with its texture, but if you’re a tapioca aficionado, we think you’ll find this dessert irresistible! We also nibbled on the Chocolate Peanut Ganache Filled S’mores with Caramelized Peanuts, Chocolate Fluff, Graham Cracker Sable Cookie, and a rich Caramel Sauce! Chocolate Peanut Ganache Filled S’mores We’re not certain which we loved more — the cookie or the ganache!. The cookie was nice and soft, too! As nummy as the Key Lime Curd Frangipane was, this dessert stole the show! Sips Phins & Feathers Our last sampling was this perfectly-balanced American Pale Ale by Brew Hub in Lakeland, Florida. Phins & Feathers The beer has a very crisp, but light and citrusy taste. We’ve been seeing it on draft at Todd English’s bluezoo and hope it appears at other resorts throughout Disney World! Phins & Feathers A one-night Causeway ticket — including an unlimited sampling of all the food and beverage offerings and The Beer Garden upgrade! — is $145, with additional optional costs for food and beverage seminars. A set of 25 a la carte tickets costs $65. For tickets, seminar pricing, and more information, visit www.SwanDolphinFoodandWineClassic.com, follow along with all the details on Facebook, or call 1-888-828-8850.
