The new Disney Visa is the ultimate credit card for Disney fans! Disney Inspire Visa In the past, Chase Bank has offered two Disney-themed credit cards — the Disney Premier Visa Card and the regular Disney Visa Card — that allowed users to earn Disney Rewards Dollars for purchases made with the card, along with other Disney-themed perks. But earlier this year, Chase launched a third Disney Visa card that comes with even MORE rewards specifically made for Disney fans! Without further ado, let’s talk perks! New customers who apply for the Disney Inspire Visa can get a $600 debut offer, which is broken into two parts. First, they’ll get a $300 Disney Gift Card eGift that can be used immediately upon approval. The other two Disney Visa cards come with a Disney gift card for new members as well, but the amounts are lower — $200 for the Disney Premier Visa and $100 for the regular Disney Visa. Disney Inspire As the other half of the $600 debut offer, they’ll also get a $300 statement credit after spending $1,000 in the first 3 months from account opening. Similarly, this is an upgraded perk from what the two other cards offer — a $100 statement credit after $500 in purchases for the Disney Premier card, or a $50 statement credit after $500 in purchases for the Disney Visa. Disney Premier Credit Card Another major perk of the Disney Inspire Visa is the increased Disney Reward Dollars percentages that cardholders can earn! They’ll earn 10% in Disney Reward Dollars on card purchases made directly at DisneyPlus.com, Hulu.com or Plus.ESPN.com. For comparison, Disney Premier cardholders earn 5% on those same purchases, and the standard Disney Visa doesn’t include any additional Disney Reward Dollars, on top of the standard 1% on all purchases. Disney Visa Card Plus, the Inspire card will earn you 3% Disney Reward Dollars on all purchases at gas stations and most U.S. Disney locations (up from 2% for the Premier card). Disney Visa Cardmember photoshoot! On top of the higher introductory perks and bigger Disney Reward Dollar percentages, the Disney Inspire Card also includes exclusive perks made for people who love to vacation with Disney. Cardmembers can earn $200 Disney Reward Dollars after spending $2,000 per anniversary year on U.S. Disney Resort and Disney Cruise Line bookings, AND earn a $100 statement credit after spending $200 per anniversary year on U.S. Disney Theme Park Tickets! ©Disney Of course, as the highest-tier option, the Disney Inspire Visa also includes the other perks that are standard with the Disney Premier Visa and Disney Visa, like 10% off on select merchandise purchases at DisneyStore.com, 10% off select merchandise and dining purchases at Disneyland and Disney World, exclusive in-park photo opportunities, and access to cardmember exclusive offers. Exclusive Stitch Photo Opp As you might expect, the upgraded perks do come with a cost trade-off! The Disney Inspire Visa has an annual fee of $149, compared to $49 for the Disney Premier Visa and $0 for the Disney Visa. But, considering the major Disney Reward Dollar earnings available, especially when it comes to Disney vacation spending, if you’re a frequent theme park or cruise traveler, the increased annual fee could pay for itself several times over! EPCOT Visa Photo Spot If you’re looking for a way to stretch your Disney vacation budget further, the new Disney Inspire Visa card can be a great way to earn rewards on your bookings. We’ll keep an eye out for any other exciting offers or perks to drop (looking at you, Disney+!), so stay tuned to DFB for the latest updates! Our team at Disney Food Blog loves visiting Europe. Whether it’s for Disneyland Paris, Adventures by Disney, or even a non-Disney-related trip, there’s so much to do! But a new change at European airports will significantly affect our next trip. Charles de Gaulle Airport If you’re traveling to Europe soon, you need to know about this airport change! There’s a new Entry/Exit System at every airport in the European Union, and it’s already causing looots of issues. The European Union (EU) just implemented a new digital Entry/Exit System (EES) on April 10th. Instead of having their passport stamped, most non-EU citizens will have to register their biometric information, including their faces and fingerprints, at the border. The system was introduced to make border crossing faster and more efficient, but now that it’s fully implemented, many travelers are reporting longer wait times at border patrol. Charles de Gaulle Airport According to The Guardian, travelers have waited up to three hours at popular airports in France, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Spain, and Greece. The BBC reported that more than 100 passengers were unable to board an easyJet flight from Milan to Manchester before it took off due to delays at passport desks. Michael O’Leary, the CEO of Europe’s biggest airline, Ryanair, has said the EES was causing queues of up to four hours at some airports. London Heathrow Airport “This situation, in the coming weeks and certainly over the peak summer months, is going to be simply unmanageable,” Olivier Jankovec, the director of the Airports Council International’s European division, told the Financial Times. “We are seeing those queueing times now, at peak times, when traffic is just starting to build up.” He believes that the ACI should be able to “fully suspend EES registration whenever there are excessive waiting times at border control that are just unmanageable.” Charles de Gaulle But the European Commission is telling a different story: “What we can see from the first days of full operation is that the system is working very well. In the overwhelming majority of member states, there are no issues,” a spokesperson told The Guardian. There were a “few member states where technical issues have been detected, but they are being addressed. It is up to member states to ensure the proper implementation of the EES on the ground.” Zagrab Airport in Croatia We’ll keep you updated on the new EES system in Europe. Even if you’ve been to Disney World 5, 10, or dozens of times, there are likely activities you’ve never done and hidden secrets you haven’t uncovered! Let’s go on a scavenger hunt! We’re big fans of the scavenger hunts throughout the property, where you get to explore in a new way and typically get a fun little prize at the end. One such scavenger hunt is tucked away in Magic Kingdom, and not many folks know about it. Plus, it has a really awesome prize! A Pirate’s Adventure — Treasures of the Seven Seas is a pirate-themed scavenger hunt throughout Adventureland in Magic Kingdom. To participate, you’ll sign up at the small building located next to Golden Oak Outpost and across from Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe. Look for this building! The building is typically only open in the middle of the day (from around 11AM-5PM), but if you have a little time to kill or you love interactive games, this is a great activity to squeeze into your Magic Kingdom trip. When you sign up, you’ll get assigned one of five maps to play. Each has a different mission. Three of the maps The scavenger hunt takes you on a tour of Adventureland, and you’ll likely discover spots you’ve never even noticed! There are interactive exhibits that work alongside your map to guide you. You’ll also be given a small card to scan at the tap points to start each interaction. Using the map Not only is this activity pretty fun, but it also offers a unique prize! There are five different maps you can get in total, and once you complete three of them, you’ll be given a FREE Lightning Lane to Pirates of the Caribbean. In front of the ride Not very many people know about this hack, but we’ll warn you that it could be a little time-consuming. We expect it would take the average park-goer a little over an hour to complete three maps. Doing one map is a fun little adventure, but committing to three of them takes a decent portion of your day. One of the interactive exhibits Also, you’ll need to complete all three maps before the time that the sign-up building closes, since you have to go there at the end to get your Lightning Lane. So if you want to go this route, we’d recommend starting no later than 3:30PM. The scavenger hunt Ultimately, this is a really fun hidden prize that people don’t typically know about, but it might actually take you longer than waiting in the line for Pirates of the Caribbean. The ride sometimes gets an hour-long wait, but on a typical day, it’s usually shorter than that. The next time we find ourselves in Singapore, we know where we’re staying… Our key to the Marina Bay Sands During a recent visit to Singapore, before we set sail with the Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship — the Disney Adventure – we stayed at a legendary hotel that is prominent even among the Singapore skyline. We’re talking about the incredible Marina Bay Sands — and we’re taking you on a tour of our hotel room! The Marina Bay Sands is famous for its unbelievable views, ridiculously cool infinity pool, and its futuristic rooms. Speaking of which, let’s check out ours! Marina Bay Sands We stayed in the Double Queen Room, and it is PACKED with some elite goodies. Our room The room itself isn’t massive, but the beds are comfy, and the space is utilized well. Double beds There’s modern art on the walls, it’s well-lit, and a resting space with a table and chair. Our room The TV is also huge, giving you a fantastic entertainment setup. Look at that TV The bedside table is also pretty special, featuring outlets (you’ll need an adapter if you’re visiting from the U.S.), as well as a clock and charging stations built into the table. There are also switches that control the lights and the room. Bedside table You’ll find more of these throughout the high-tech room. Switches Of course, you’ll also find the basics here, like closet space, an ironing setup, and a safe. Safe There are also tons of extras, like slippers and self-care products. These are included in the room Storing clothes shouldn’t be an issue. Closet space As a luxury room, there are also some free snacks and drinks included in your rate. Complimentary snacks and beverages Pull out a drawer, and you’ll find coffee pods. Coffee Pull out another, and you’ll spot some tasty local snacks! Now THAT’S unique! The room takes care of you with several unique offerings that really drive home the idea of a luxury stay. Drink station With that said, the bar area impressed us the most. Bar area Stocked with teas and fancy glasses, kettles, and dishware, this is something you won’t find just anywhere. Tea set Elegant and elevated, this setup absolutely floored us. A closer look Simply put, if you’re big into tea, this room is heaven. Tea Let’s check out the bathroom! Bathroom Decked out in marble, the bathroom contains two sinks, one vanity, a tub, a shower, and more. Sink It even has a digital scale! Scale The shower is really cool, featuring a bench and a movable shower head. Shower Like many other elevated stays, this room also includes bathrobes for its guests. Robe And wrapping it all up, we have to talk about that view! We got a great view of the skyline, making our visit extra special! Look at that view! Would you stay here? Have you stayed here? If you’re ever at the Polynesian Resort, then you’ll know the most popular spot to grab a drink is Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto. This tiki-themed bar serves some over-the-top drinks, some that even light on fire, so the waitlist can get looong! Yum! But did you know they have a bar counter outside if you can’t snag a table? Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace is located outside of Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto, with an outdoor seating area and water views. It used to be our favorite spot to grab a drink, but it just unexpectedly closed! Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace at the Polynesian Village Resort is currently closed for refurbishment. It will be closed until at least June, since no times are listed on the Disney World calendar, but it could last even longer. Disney has no projected opening date listed. Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace If you want a drink during the closure, check out Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto inside. The sister bar is known for its over-the-top cocktails, like the Polynesian Pearl, which comes in a decked-out souvenir cup, or the Uh-Oa! drink, which lights on fire! But this isn’t the best spot for families, since only guests 21 and up can enter past 8 PM. Yes, it’s on FIRE! You can also head to a lesser-known bar at the resort, Tambu Lounge. They serve some staple Hawaiian-inspired drinks and appetizers. We love their Lapu Lapu drink, which is rum and fruit juice served in a fresh pineapple. It’s just as fun as Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto, but with no crowds! Lapu Lapu We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace closure. There comes a moment in every Disney fan’s life when the hotel decision stops being about giant icons, splash pads, and whether a pool is playing pop music at a volume normally reserved for aircraft carriers. It becomes about knees. Sleep. Transit. Price. Dignity. Maybe a decent cup of coffee before 7AM. And honestly? Fair. Beach Club Resort Walt Disney World has more than 25 Disney Resort hotels in the Disney Resorts Collection, which means there are plenty of ways to do this vacation wrong for your particular stage of life. For a lot of Disney fans in their 50s, the resorts they refuse to book are not “bad” hotels. They are just the ones that trigger the most Gen X response possible: absolutely not. This is not about being too old for Disney. Please. This is the generation that survived mall food courts, dial-up internet, and being told to drink from the garden hose. This is about being old enough to know exactly what kind of nonsense you do not want to pay for on vacation. Kid Chaos Central Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort This is where a lot of 50-something Disney fans tap out. The value price is nice, sure, but the room setup is already a negotiation because standard rooms have either one king or one queen bed plus a queen-size table bed. All Star Movies Add in Disney’s planned room refurbishment beginning in late May 2026 and running through the end of January 2027, and this becomes a very easy “maybe not this trip” for anyone craving fewer construction vibes and more actual rest. Disney’s Art of Animation Resort Art of Animation is wildly fun, aggressively colorful, and extremely good at what it is built to do. Disney pitches it with family suites, Skyliner access, and the largest resort pool at Walt Disney World. That is exactly why some Disney fans in their 50s look at it and go, “Love this for other people.” It is fantastic for families and bigger groups. Big Blue Pool at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort It is less fantastic when what you really want is a hotel that does not feel like it has been marinated in cannonballs and stroller energy. FULL TOUR: There’s a Reason We Keep Coming Back to This Iconic Disney World Hotel Room Not Sleeping on a Murphy Bed Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort All-Star Sports has the same basic problem as a lot of value-resort conversations: the savings are real, but so are the trade-offs. The standard rooms here have one queen bed and one queen-size table bed, and transportation is bus-only. That combination can work beautifully for some travelers, but plenty of Disney fans in their 50s are simply not volunteering to pay Disney prices and then draw straws over who gets the fold-down situation. Murphy Bed This is the age bracket where people start saying things like, “I’m not sleeping on a table bed for nostalgia,” and frankly, that sentence deserves respect. 13,000 Fans Rank EVERY Value Resort in Disney World Too Much Walking, Not Enough Magic Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort Caribbean Beach is gorgeous. It is also a resort Disney says has six island-themed villages, and it uses both bus transportation and the Skyliner. That is wonderful when the Skyliner is running, and your room location works in your favor. It is less charming when you realize your room, the lobby, and the food are all participating in a long-distance relationship. You’ll do a LOT of walking at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort For travelers in their 50s who are not looking to rack up ten thousand bonus steps before rope drop, this one can land firmly in the “too sprawling” pile. Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort Coronado Springs is beautiful, polished, and one of Disney’s prettiest moderates. It is also bus-only, and is so spread out with the main Gran Destino Tower plus the Casitas, Ranchos, and Cabanas areas, along with three separate leisure pools in those settlements. In other words, it is not exactly a compact little weekend hideaway. Coronado Springs For some Gen X travelers, that becomes a dealbreaker fast. They are here for EPCOT, not an accidental campus tour. A Definitive Ranking of EVERY Disney World Moderate Resort Bus Stop Purgatory Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Animal Kingdom Lodge is stunning. No notes on the vibes. The savanna views are elite, the atmosphere is unmatched, and plenty of people adore it. But if you’re relying on Disney’s free transportation to get you around to the parks, then you’re squarely relying on the Disney bus system, and that alone is enough for some fans in their 50s to keep scrolling. Animal Kingdom Lodge By this point in life, a lot of travelers know whether they are “remote luxury retreat” people or “I want to get back from EPCOT without a transportation dissertation” people. Animal Kingdom Lodge is very much for the first group. Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa Saratoga Springs has its fans, but for a lot of Disney lovers in their 50s, this one lands squarely in the “why am I still commuting inside my hotel?” category. Saratoga Springs is a Deluxe Villa resort in the Disney Springs area with bus and boat transportation. One look at the resort map and you’ll see just how spread out the place really is, with sections like The Springs, The Paddock, Congress Park, The Carousel, The Grandstand, and the Treehouse Villas all spread across the property. Whew. She’s a big girl. Yes, the boat to Disney Springs is charming. No, that does not magically turn this into a compact resort. If your vacation style leans more “easy access and minimal hoofing” than “accidental suburban loop before breakfast,” this is an easy one to skip. Deluxe Price, Midlife Side-Eye Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa There are Disney fans in their 50s who absolutely love the Grand Floridian. There are also Disney fans in their 50s who look at it the way they look at luxury handbags behind glass: lovely, but not happening. This is a Deluxe resort (with a capital “D”), and it has the full transport flex with boat, monorail, and bus service. It is objectively convenient. It is also the kind of place that can make budget-conscious travelers feel like their wallet just got hit with a Victorian chandelier. Grand Floridian Resort For folks on a fixed income, or just folks who would rather spend that money on another whole trip, this is one of the easiest skips on property. Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort The Polynesian has legendary status for a reason. Great location, monorail access, boat access, strong food game, and that unmistakable vacation glow, which is code for “yes, it is fabulous, and yes, your bank account noticed.” Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort A lot of 50-something Disney fans do not dislike the Polynesian. They just refuse to pay Polynesian prices when they know there are other resorts where they can sleep just as well, get to the parks just fine, and still have enough money left for a steak dinner and a dramatic gift shop spiral. The Final Hotel Hot Take The funny thing is that this is not really a list about age. It is a list about tolerance. By the time a Disney fan hits their 50s, they usually know whether they are willing to trade quiet for theming, convenience for price, or location for luxury. They know whether they can handle a giant resort, a bus-only setup, a room with a table bed, or a nightly rate that feels like a clerical error. The magic is still the magic. The patience is just… more selectively allocated. Wilderness Lodge in Disney World So no, Disney fans in their 50s are not done with Disney World hotels. Not even close. They have simply entered their final form: the era of strong opinions, decent shoes, and the absolute refusal to pay premium money for a resort that annoys them before they even make it to the food court. 6 Secrets Disney World Doesn’t Want You to Know Join the DFB Newsletter to get all the breaking news right in your inbox! Yes, we know that we’re still in the first half of 2026, but NOW is the time to start planning for that 2027 Disney World vacation, right? Magic Kingdom Well, the good news is that Disney just dropped vacation bookings for 2027, so you can start planning RIGHT NOW. That also means we have details on what trips will look like next year, as well as how much they’ll cost. As you may know, prices are dependent on the date you visit the park, so we’ve done the research to tell you which days are the cheapest. Okay, so here’s the deal. We now have pricing for dates from January 1st, 2027 through October 31st, 2027. For 2026, the cheapest tickets were $119, and the most expensive were $199. Disney World Theme Park Tickets In 2027, the cheapest tickets are once again $119 per person, while the most expensive have increased to $219. These are prices for single-park, single-day visits. It’s no surprise that Animal Kingdom is the cheapest park to visit, while Magic Kingdom is the most expensive. EPCOT and Hollywood Studios seem to fall towards the Magic Kingdom end of the price range. Disney’s Animal Kingdom If you’re looking to go on the cheapest dates to save some dough, the $119 ticket price is offered for Animal Kingdom August 23rd-27th, August 31st, September 7th-9th, September 14th-16th, September 21st-23rd, and September 27th-28th. Park tickets for the other three parks on those dates range from $134-$164, depending on the date. Expedition Everest Out of those dates, the cheapest days across the board to visit seem to be August 24th and August 31st. On those days, Animal Kingdom is $119 per person, EPCOT is $129, and Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios are both $139 each. Since this is a Tuesday in the Halloween season, it’s likely that Magic Kingdom will be closing early those days for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. There’s a NEW ride coming soon to Hollywood Studios! Rock ‘n Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith closed earlier this year to make way for the new Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. This version of the ride is going to feature some fan-favorite characters and a bangin’ soundtrack, but now we know we may get to ride it EARLY! The opening date for the coaster is set for May 26th, 2026. However, in the announcement, Disney included this tidbit at the end — “stay tuned for even more surprises still to come, including previews for cast members, eligible Disney Vacation Club Members, and Annual Passholders!” ©Disney We’ve often seen rides offer previews to select groups before they open. We most recently saw it with Cast Member previews at Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin after its changes. Once Disney drops the details, we’ll pass them along. Sometimes previews require some kind of booking or reservation process. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster The backstory of this new ride has you arriving at The Electric Mayhem’s “biggest night yet.” The courtyard will feature a revamped version of the iconic guitar, the interior of G-Force Records is getting a colorful makeover, and if you keep your eyes peeled, you may even spot several celebrity cameos in the queue and merchandise shop! ©Disney In the preshow, you’ll find The Electric Mayhem playing their hit song “Can You Picture That?” along with the first-ever audio-animatronic figure of Scooter. Scooter and the penguins are doing their best to convince The Electric Mayhem that it’s time to leave the studio and get to their concert — can they even make it in time? ©Disney Disney says that to make it to the show, we’ll board the newest creation from Muppet Labs, “a super-powered vehicle in the alleyway just behind Studio C known as the Lengthy Immediate Motion Object (L.I.M.O.)!” Sounds like we’re going to go FAST. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster We’ll be there for opening day of the ride as well, so keep following along here at DFB! Subscribe to our newsletter for the latest. See the Full Song List for the Ride Here! The all-new Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets opens SOON, and we are waiting on the edges of our seats to experience this rethemed ride. ©Disney After hearing the very FIRST song announced for this new ride, Disney has been slowly revealing the rest of the songs we can expect to hear on our stretch limo trip to the Electric Mayhem concert! While we were already excited about all the songs we knew so far, now we can officially start to rock out because Disney just released the FULL TRACK LIST for this ride! The new Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is set to open this summer, and we just received a MAJOR update! Disney has officially announced the FULL LIST of tracks we’ll be able to hear played on this ride. How many did you guess?! ©Disney The full track list includes: “Song 2” by The Electric Mayhem (made famous by Blur) “Born To Be Wild” by The Electric Mayhem featuring Camilla the Chicken (made famous by Steppenwolf) “Love Rollercoaster” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Jennifer Hudson & Questlove “Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop)” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Def Leppard “Walking on Sunshine” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Kelly Clarkson ©Disney Disney also revealed that a TON of celebrity cameos will be part of this ride! Keep your eyes out for: Awkwafina ©Disney Danny Trejo ©Disney Darren Criss ©Disney John Stamos ©Disney Neil Patrick Harris ©Disney Travis Barker ©Disney Yvette Nicole Brown ©Disney Wayne Brady ©Disney “Weird Al” Yankovic ©Disney We can’t WAIT to hear these songs on the ride — and you can be sure we’ll be riding until we hear every single one! What’s so cool and unique about this re-theme is that G-Force Records still exists and will still be the setting of the ride. However, the record studio is now managed by J.P. Grosse, Scooter’s uncle. Y’ALL! I’M FREAKING OUT! MUPPETS! Disney just dropped HUGE Muppet news, which means my Spidey Sense is going off. Mupept fans, rejoice because we now know when Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets is opening (aka the best day of the entire year). Mark your calendars for May 26th! You’ll be able to ride Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets on May 26th!! Are you excited? You should be! ©Disney We sadly said goodbye to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith for this Muppet transformation to occur. While we can still shed a tear for Muppets Courtyard, which is being turned into Monstropolis, we’re glad the Muppets are entirely leaving Hollywood Studios. ©Disney One part that’s making me feel like Animal is the new preshow. You can enter the recording studio with your VIP pass, where the Electric Mayhem is working on some new tunes. Their audio engineers, who are penguins, and Scooter are trying to keep the Electric Mayhem in check because they have to get to their concert across town. Will they make it on time? ©Disney Not only is the inside changing, but the outside is getting a makeover, too. You’ll be able to see the guitar in Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Courtyard, painted in vibrant and psychedelic colors (which might look familiar to The Muppet Movie fans). The piano motif at the base will feature a golden key, which is a reference to the Electric Mayhem’s fearless leader. ©Disney We can’t wait to bring you all the details about the attraction and everything that goes along with it, so make sure you keep following Disney Food Blog for more. Between new vacation packages, ticket prices, and a NEW Dining Plan option, there are a lot of updates to take in. Speaking of the Dining Plan, Disney also revealed that a new deal is available for when you book one in 2027, and we’ve got all the details released so far! Full spread The Disney Deluxe Table-Service Dining Plan includes: Two table service entrées, dessert (lunch and dinner only), OR full buffet; Guests under 21 years of age can choose one non-alcoholic beverage with their Quick Service and Table Service meal (including specialty beverages for guests 10 years old and over — i.e., Artisanal Milk Shakes, Fresh Smoothies, Premium Hot Chocolates, or Soda, Coffee, or Tea — where offered). Guests 21 and older can choose either one non-alcoholic beverage (including specialty beverages where offered) or one single serving mixed cocktail, beer, or wine (where offered) within their meal entitlement. Are you already planning a Disney World trip for 2027 and are wondering if you should stay on Disney World property? We totally understand what a big decision that can be! Wilderness Lodge Hotel Staying at a hotel on Disney World property can be so incredibly magical and can sometimes make your trip easier. You’ve got free transportation to and from your hotel and the parks and Disney Springs, you’re surrounded by Disney magic constantly throughout your trip, and many guests feel that, by staying on property, they fully step away from the stress of the world for a few days. However, it’s EXPENSIVE, even if you’re staying at one of the Value Resorts, and you may be weighing whether the perks of staying on property are worth the cost. To help you decide, here’s a rundown of ALL the hotel perks we know you can get in 2027! Early Entry One of the most well-known and most-used perks when staying at a Disney World hotel is Early Entry. This allows you to get into a Disney World park 30 minutes early, no matter what day of the week it is. Every Disney World hotel offers this perk, and it’s active at all four parks each day. Early Entry crowds at Animal Kingdom Not every attraction in the parks runs during Early Entry, but many of the resort’s most popular ones do, and it’s a fantastic time to knock out some of your top attractions with very low wait times! A 30-minute wait for a ride that’s usually 75 minutes or more? Yeah, you’ll start your day feeling very accomplished! Extended Evening Hours For those who aren’t morning people, or who want every single possible hour of park time, you may want to splurge on staying at a Deluxe Resort or Deluxe Villa to get access to Extended Evening Hours. Animal Kingdom During Extended Evening Hours This isn’t offered every day, and it isn’t always at each park, so you’ll want to check the My Disney Experience App to see when Extended Evening Hours will be offered during your trip. You’ll likely get about 1-2 hours of additional access to the parks once other crowds are gone, and again, you’ll find that wait times drop immensely, allowing you to ride more of your favorites! Complimentary Transportation As we mentioned before, if you stay at a Disney World hotel, you can take the free transportation to and from your hotel and other locations on property. That includes Disney buses, Monorails, Ferries, and the Skyliner, though not every hotel has direct access to each one. Disney bus to Magic Kingdom For example, the hotels on the Magic Kingdom Monorail loop have direct access to buses and the Monorail (and some have ferries as well), but not the Skyliner, and Art of Animation and Pop Century have access to buses and the Skyliner, but no boats or the Monorail. However, if you do choose to drive your own car to the parks, you also get free parking for the entire duration of your stay! Advance Booking For Dining and Lightning Lanes Yes, everyone can make dining reservations 60 days in advance of their trip, but resort guests? You can book your entire trip (up to 10 days) once you hit that 60-day mark, and THAT is where it becomes a huge game-changer. For many people, that’s the difference between snagging that Chef Mickey’s breakfast reservation on the day you wanted and having to check back multiple times every single day for the next two months until your trip starts to try and grab it. Chef Mickey at Chef Mickey’s! When it comes to Lightning Lanes, staying at a Disney World resort gets you access to purchase and select Lightning Lanes seven days before your trip starts, whereas other guests can only book three days in advance. That head start can make the difference between waiting in line for two hours or breezing past everyone else. Is It Worth It? At the end of the day, it’s entirely up to you if staying at a Disney World hotel with these perks is worth it. For some people, it absolutely will be, but for others, it’ll be a no-go, and that’s okay! That’s what makes Disney trips so wonderful — no two are alike. If you need a bit more planning help, we recommend reaching out to our friends at Small World Vacations! Their services are completely free, and they’ll help you plan the absolute best vacation! FULL LIST of Disney World Ticket Prices for 2027
Disney4me posted a topic in Disney Food/Restaurants
We’ve got HUGE news out of Disney World, and it’s going to affect your 2027 vacations! EPCOT Many people have been wondering if it’s going to be more expensive to go to Disney World next year, and now, we’ve got those answers. Disney World has just released pricing for January through October 2027, and we’re taking an in-depth look! Now, it’s important to remember that Disney World uses dynamic pricing, which means that Disney World ticket prices vary by day and by which park you’re going to. The most expensive days are the ones Disney expects to be most in demand (and most crowded), and the least expensive days are expected to be the least in demand. Hollywood Studios For the first 10 months of 2027, the cheapest days at the cheapest park (it’s always Animal Kingdom, even with the new additions on the way) are $119. And the most expensive days at the most expensive park (usually always Magic Kingdom) are $184. However, most of the days are gonna fall somewhere in the middle and run you in the $159-169 range. Keep in mind that this is for a single-day ticket with no park hopping, meaning you can only visit your chosen park on that ticket. Test Track If you’re visiting the parks for multiple days, know that buying a multi-day ticket comes with discounts. Instead of paying that single-day price for every day of your trip, you’ll pay less the more days you book. Animal Kingdom at night If you want to visit more than one park each day, you’ll want to add on the Park Hopper option, which does cost more per day! As an example, for January 13th, 2027, a regular 1-day, 1-park ticket will cost $164 for Animal Kingdom, but with Park Hopper that cost increases to $253 per ticket. Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom If you’re looking for the CHEAPEST times to visit Disney World in 2027, you’ll want to consider August and September, when the 1-day, 1-park price starts at $119 for Animal Kingdom and increases by park. ©Disney As for the most expensive times, you’ll be looking at $184 throughout more popular times like March and October. Once November and December prices are released, we anticipate those tickets will cost even more as they are peak times for Disney World. ©Disney Here’s a look at Disney World ticket prices from January to October 2027, beginning with January: ©Disney February prices are below, with the cheapest day starting at $174: ©Disney In March, the cheapest ticket will run $169: ©Disney April has the cheapest ticket for this month sitting at $179 — this is when we see a lot of Spring Break action in the parks: ©Disney In May, the cheapest ticket price is $164: ©Disney In June, $164 is the cheapest ticket price as well: ©Disney When July rolls around, you’ll be paying $159 for the cheapest ticket, depending on the day: ©Disney In August, there are quite a few $119 days: ©Disney And in September as well: ©Disney During October, the cheapest ticket price for a 1-day, 1-park ticket starts at $154, depending on the day: ©Disney Need some help planning your 2027 vacation? Let’s be real, Disney days are fun, but they’re also long, hot, and sometimes just a little chaotic. And while you don’t need a ton of extras to have an amazing trip, the right upgrades can seriously change the game. Magic Kingdom’s Cinderella Castle We’re talking about those small-but-mighty items that make you feel more comfortable, more prepared, and just a little more like a VIP navigating the parks. These aren’t your basic essentials, but they’re the things that solve the little annoyances you didn’t even realize were slowing you down. These are the products we’ve personally tested and now won’t do Disney without. Some are practical, some are a little indulgent, but all of them make your park day smoother, easier, and way more enjoyable. If you’re looking to upgrade your Disney experience without going full VIP tour, these picks are a pretty great place to start. DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. Get this VentraPak Backpack Spacer here! VentaPak Lightweight Ventilation Backpack Spacer If you’ve ever spent a full Disney day with a backpack glued to your back, you already know the struggle. Between the heat, sweat, and that lovely end-of-day back ache. If you’re looking for relief, that’s exactly where the VentaPak Backpack Spacer steps in. It creates a small gap between your back and your backpack, which lets air flow through and keeps things noticeably cooler. We’re not saying you’ll be completely sweat-free (it is Florida, after all), but the difference is there. It also redistributes the weight of your bag in a way that makes a long park day way more manageable, especially if you’re the designated pack mule for snacks, ponchos, and souvenirs. VentaPak in Disney World It’s definitely on the higher end for a backpack accessory, but this is one of those items that could be worth it if overheating or back pain is a constant issue for you. After using it consistently for months, taking it off for a park day was a huge mistake, and we immediately noticed the difference and regretted it fast. That said, it’s not totally perfect. Look at that air flow! You do have to tighten your backpack straps more than usual for it to work properly, which can make the straps feel snug and a little less convenient when you’re constantly taking your bag on and off. Still, if you’re carrying a heavier bag or just tired of that sweaty-back feeling, this feels like a low-key VIP comfort upgrade that can make your park day a whole lot easier. view ON AMAZON This Waist Fan can keep you cool all day! Let’s stay cool! If you’re someone who overheats fast, especially through your core, this is one of those Disney park hacks that feels like a game-changer. The AMKEN Waist Fan isn’t your typical handheld fan. Instead, it’s a full-on cooling system you wear, and it delivers serious airflow right where you need it most. Whether you clip it to your shorts or prop it up on a table during a quick-service break, it amplifies whatever air conditioning you can find and turns it into something way more effective. On especially brutal Florida days, this kind of cooling power can make the difference between tapping out early and actually enjoying your park time. It worked great for us! For the price tag, it genuinely feels like a steal considering how powerful and versatile it is. This isn’t the fan you bring for a light breeze, but you bring this one when it’s hot, hot, and you’re committed to staying cool no matter what. It’s built tough, has impressive battery life (lasting around 4 hours on high in testing), and even comes with extras like a bright LED light and multiple wearing options. That said, there are trade-offs. AMKEN Waist Fan It’s not silent; you’ll definitely hear it running, and the weight might not be ideal for everyone, especially if you prefer traveling light. But if you can handle a little noise and don’t mind wearing something slightly bulkier, this feels like a VIP-level upgrade for beating the heat. view ON AMAZON We love the Loungefly organizer! HOYOFO Mini Backpack Organizer If you’re a Loungefly lover or just someone who swaps bags to match your Disney outfits (no judgment—we get it), this little Loungefly Organizer feels like a total game-changer. For around $15, it turns your mini backpack from a chaotic black hole into a perfectly organized system. There are multiple compartments, including zippered pockets, easy-access slots, and even a key ring, so everything finally has a “home.” No more digging around for lip balm while holding up the line or panic-searching for your park ticket at the tapstile. HOYOFO Mini Backpack Organizer What really makes this feel like a VIP upgrade, though, is how effortless it makes switching bags. Instead of unpacking and repacking every time you want to change your look, you can just lift the entire insert out and drop it into your next backpack in seconds. HOYOFO Organizer It’s simple, lightweight, and somehow still fits everything we need with room to spare. If you’ve ever worried about forgetting something important, or just hate the constant rummaging, this is one of those small, underrated items that makes your park day noticeably smoother. view ON AMAZON Or, you can grab the Stanley Vitalize Backpack! Stanley Vitalize Backpack If you’re the kind of Disney park-goer who packs for every possible scenario (Hi, that’s me!), this Stanley Vitalize Backpack absolutely delivers on space and organization. The backpack is designed with lots of compartments (and we mean lots), including a laptop sleeve, a bottom section for shoes or bulkier items, and multiple storage zones that make it easy to keep everything in its place. Shaker Bottle The standout feature is definitely the clip-in cup holders, which are built specifically for STANLEY tumblers but also work surprisingly well for other bottles and even things like umbrellas. It’s one of those bags where you feel like you can bring everything you might need for a long park day, and still have room left over. It comes with both! Where this bag really shines is in comfort and weight distribution. Even when packed to the brim, it somehow feels lightweight and easy to carry, which is a huge win for long Disney days. It also runs a bit pricey for the overall durability — lighter fabric means it’s comfortable, but it can stain easily and may not hold up as long as other options. Still, for over-packers or parents who need a bag that can handle everything, this can feel like a pretty luxe upgrade, as long as you’re okay paying a bit more. view ON AMAZON Don’t forget to keep cool with this neck fan! JISULIFE neck fan This neck fan boasts a four to 16 working hour duration and 78 air outlets for ultimate cooling. Unfortunately, our battery only lasted three hours and 15 minutes! The air outlets would suck our hair inside and even rip some of it out. But while it lasted, it kept us incredibly cool. It’s a bit wider This neck fan was easier to slide on and off our neck because of the lightweight material, and because the physical opening was wider. The on and off button is difficult to find when you’re wearing the fan, and you have to reach behind your head, and it’s kind of hidden in the side. view ON AMAZON This park bag also comes with the essentials! It comes with so many items! If you’re the kind of person who loves being prepared for everything at Disney, but doesn’t want to spend hours packing, this Theme Park Essentials kit is basically your dream come true. It comes with a fanny pack plus all the little extras you’d normally have to remember yourself: a mini fan, collapsible water bottle, ponchos, cooling towel, straw… the list goes on. It’s one of those “grab it and go” items that instantly makes you feel more put together walking into the parks. Everything is thoughtfully sized too, not bulky, not awkward, just easy to carry and actually usable throughout the day. Theme park essentials fanny pack What really makes this feel like a VIP upgrade is the convenience factor. Instead of juggling a bunch of separate purchases (and inevitably forgetting something), you’ve got everything in one place, ready to go. It’s lightweight, hands-free, and genuinely makes your park day smoother. It’s affordable, incredibly practical, and one of the easiest ways to upgrade your Disney day with minimal effort. view ON AMAZON Don’t get caught in the Florida rain without one of these! Frogg Toggs Poncho If you’ve been a reader for a while, you probably have heard us sing the praises of the Frogg Togg Reusable poncho! It rains a lot in Florida, and it’s like sideways rain and wind that can make an umbrella a nightmare to carry. It’s also so humid that a rain jacket will feel too much. That’s where our favorite poncho comes in. Frogg Toggs Poncho First, this is big enough to cover the majority of your body, and it even fits over our park bag when it’s on our back, too. We love that it has a carrying case, making it easy to fold back into our bag after the storm is over. We carry this with us on every trip, and we don’t regret it. view ON AMAZON Make applying sunscreen easier with this! Solar Buddies Sunscreen Applicator This is one of those small-but-mighty park essentials that makes a surprisingly big difference, especially when you’re reapplying sunscreen multiple times a day (because yes, you definitely should be). The Solar Buddies applicator is compact, mess-free, and incredibly easy to toss into your park bag without worrying about leaks or spills. It doesn’t come pre-filled, which actually ends up being a bonus because you can use your favorite sunscreen brand. The rollerball design makes application quick and simple, which is a lifesaver when you’re trying to wrangle kids or reapply in line for your next ride. Solar Buddies Sunscreen Applicator Where this really shines is convenience. It glides on easily and works especially well for faces or for kids who don’t love the whole sunscreen process. It doesn’t dispense a super thick layer in one swipe, so it’s not ideal for a full first application, but for quick touch-ups throughout the day, it’s perfect. Think of it as your go-to for easy reapplication without the mess or hassle. view ON AMAZON No more messy paper straws, grab this instead! Sunseeke Silicone Straws If you’ve ever grabbed a drink at Disney and realized they only serve paper straws, these silicone reusable straws quickly become one of those little things you’re so glad you packed. Even if you’re not usually a reusable straw person, these are surprisingly easy to love. They’re soft, flexible, and super simple to toss in your bag without worrying about them getting bent out of shape or being annoying to clean later. It’s one of those low-effort swaps that ends up making your park day smoother, especially if you’re juggling iced coffees, sodas, or frozen drinks in the Florida heat. A Sunseeke Silicone Straw inside our Frozen Coke! What really stands out is how well they actually work compared to other reusable options. They hold their shape while you’re drinking (no awkward collapsing mid-sip), but still fold down easily for storage. They also handle thicker drinks like frozen slushies without any issues, which isn’t always the case with reusable straws. Plus, the variety of colors makes it easy to keep track of whose is whose if you’re traveling with a group. It’s a small, affordable upgrade, but one that feels oddly essential once you’ve used it in the parks. view ON AMAZON Walking miles at Disney in these shoes makes our feet happy! HOKA Clifton 10 Walking around the Disney parks is no joke — we’re talking 15,000 steps plus a day! So you can see why having the right pair of shoes is essential. Our go-to shoes are the HOKA Clifton 10s. These are comfortable and provide the right amount of support, without feeling too heavy on our feet. Hoka Clifton 10 We truly believe that wearing these will make you feel like you’re walking around in luxury. Are they pricey for tennis shoes? Maybe. But we believe the quality of these is worth the price tag for us. We also love that these are shoes you can continue to wear after your park day! view ON AMAZON We love this portable fan for hot Disney days! JISULIFE 3 IN 1 Handheld Mini Fan This is one of those Disney park essentials that earns its spot in your bag immediately. The JISULIFE mini fan isn’t just a fan; it’s a 3-in-1 multitasker that works as a handheld fan, a flashlight, and even a backup charger. If you’re trying to pack smart (and not overload your bag), this kind of versatility feels like a total win. The fan itself has multiple speed settings and puts out a solid breeze. It’s perfect for cooling off while waiting in line or walking between attractions in that Florida heat. Built-in charger What really makes this one stand out is how compact it is. It folds down small enough to fit easily into even the tiniest park bag, which is a huge upgrade from bulkier fans that take up way too much space. Despite its size, it still delivers on performance and lasts for hours on a single charge. And having that built-in power bank? Major bonus when your phone starts dying halfway through the day. view ON AMAZON And finally, stay healthy with this spray sanitizer! Touchland and Disney Hand Sanitizer + Mist Case This is one of those items that leans heavily into the “cute but practical” category, and honestly, it delivers on both. The Disney x Touchland Sanitizer comes in an adorable Mickey-themed case with a sleek spray design that makes it super easy to use on the go. Instead of dealing with sticky gels, you get a fine mist that dries quickly, which is so much nicer when you’re in the middle of a park day. The case also has a handy key ring, so you can clip it right onto your bag or keys and have it ready at all times. Plus, the watermelon scent is a fun little bonus that makes sanitizing feel a bit less like a chore. Easy to attach That said, this definitely falls into the “luxury” side of park essentials. It works great and makes your day easier, especially with how convenient and portable it is, but it’s hard to ignore the price tag. If you love the aesthetic and want something cute and functional clipped to your bag, it’s a fun splurge. But if you’re just looking for basic sanitizer, there are definitely more budget-friendly options that get the job done just as well. view ON AMAZON We’re always on the hunt for the latest and greatest Disney souvenirs and essentials, so don’t forget to stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for more! Some Disney snacks are loud. They sparkle. They shout. They come with enough visual drama to make you feel like you should photograph them from six angles before taking a bite. Caramel Apple Butter Bar And then there’s the Caramel Butter Bar. This thing looks like it should be sitting in a church bake sale next to somebody’s aunt’s lemon squares. It is deeply, almost offensively unflashy. No swirls. No glitter. No “limited-time magical celebration” nonsense. Just a squat little caramel bar sitting there like it has nothing to prove. So if this buttery little chaos bar just wormed its way onto your list, go grab the guide and let us help you build the rest of your snack strategy before Disney talks you into four more desserts you absolutely did not plan for. You know us…we love Disney World snacks, and we especially love it when Disney World drops brand new snacks. New snack alert! When we learn about new food in Disney World, we’re running to check it out because that’s our thing. So when we spotted a new dessert at ABC Commissary in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we made a beeline over to the quick service location to check it out. And now, well, we have some thoughts to share with you about this new treat. The Raspberry Pistachio Cheesecake has arrived, and at first, it seems to have a lot of potential. For $5.79, you get a Raspberry Cheesecake with White Chocolate Ganache, Pistachio Whipped Cream, Raspberry Jam, and Pistachios. We’ll start with the good. First, this is a very photogenic snack, and the cheesecake layer is very creamy with plenty of raspberry flavor, although we would have liked more of that raspberry jam in the center — you only get a little dollop. Raspberry Pistachio Cheesecake Now for the bad. The pistachio flavor did NOT do it for us. It had an artificial flavor that we just couldn’t get past. We ended up scraping it off the cheesecake to enjoy the cheesecake on its own (and it was better without the pistachio whipped cream). The crust adds more texture than flavor, so we think this would have worked if it had just been the raspberry cheesecake without the pistachio. The raspberry part was good Overall, we don’t think we’d get this treat again, and if you’re looking for something with a true pistachio flavor, this isn’t it. We know pistachio is a trendy flavor right now, but in this instance, it doesn’t work. So if you’re looking for a good snack in Disney World, skip this and maybe try the Wookiee Cookie from Backlot Express or the Carrot Cake Whoopie Pie at Trolley Car Cafe. Packing the right gear for a Disney trip can genuinely make or break your day. We are always testing products! Utensils are one of those things that most people don’t think about until they’re standing at a quick-service counter holding a flimsy plastic fork that bends the second it touches anything. Between the mobile ordering surge and the sheer amount of snacking that happens across a park day, having a solid set of reusable utensils tucked into your bag is one of the quietest upgrades you can make to your whole trip experience. DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. The Tiny Thing Your Park Bag Is Missing Here’s the scenario: you’ve ordered a giant bowl of mac and cheese from Cosmic Ray’s, you’re ready to dig in, and the utensils at the counter are the kind that feel like they’ll snap in half if you look at them too hard. Disney’s plastic cutlery gets the job done, technically, but it can be flimsy and small, and you’re throwing it away after one use anyway. That’s exactly the problem this Reusable Travel Utensils Set solves. Reusable Travel Utensils Set The set comes in a pack of four (each in a different pastel color), and each one includes a fork, knife, and spoon made from natural wheat straw and food-grade PP material. They’re noticeably thicker and sturdier than anything you’d grab from a Disney quick-service station, which means they actually function like real utensils instead of just looking like they should. Reusable Travel Utensils Set The whole set fits into a slim carrying case that measures about 8.4 by 2.2 inches, so it slides right into a park bag without taking up meaningful space. The cleaning situation is easier than you’d expect, too. You can wash them discreetly at a park restroom sink in under a minute, and they’re dishwasher safe once you’re back at the hotel. The case keeps everything contained and clean between uses, which is what makes you actually reach for them instead of leaving them buried at the bottom of your bag. Reusable Travel Utensils Set Even if you only use them once or twice over a multi-day trip, they’re worth having along as a “just in case” item. The four-set pack also makes it easy to share with travel companions or keep one in your bag and extras in your hotel room. We are always testing products! Take a look at these before your next park day. view ON amazon Honestly, the best Disney packing wins are the small ones, and reusable utensils fall squarely in that category. A little prep goes a long way toward making your days feel smoother, less wasteful, and a whole lot more comfortable. We’re always on the hunt for the latest and greatest Disney souvenirs and essentials, so don’t forget to stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for more! View the full article

Have you heard? Someone is coming to Disneyland to reclaim the Millennium Falcon, and it looks like he’s already searching for it! Galaxy’s Edge Earlier this year, Disney announced that a MASSIVE change was coming to Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge on April 29th. That change is that the characters and stories from the original Star Wars trilogy would officially be featured at the park. Well, Disney just shared a very first look at Han Solo and Chewbacca — want to see? Some other characters that are coming are Princess Leia Organa (near the Millennium Falcon), Luke Skywalker (roaming the outpost), and Chewbacca. Darth Vader will also be coming to the land full-time. He’ll be walking around with Stormtroopers looking for any remaining Jedi. Chewbacca in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge Another big and underrated change coming to the land is the audio changes. On April 29th, you’ll be able to hear John Williams’ iconic Star Wars scores throughout the land. That’s right, we could possibly be hearing the “Main Title”, “Force Theme”, “Cantina Band”, and more. We can’t express to you what hearing “Across the Stars” would do to us! Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland We’re beyond excited for this change at Disneyland! This is something that fans have been wanting for a very long time, and now it’s finally almost here. Only a couple of weeks till we experience the land in a whole new way. Disney just dropped some news on a brand-new tale that is springing up in North Carolina called Asteria, the newest Storyliving by Disney community. ©Disney This new community by Disney is designed as a campus of discovery. A new WalletHub study was released naming the best airlines in 2026, and let’s just say it’s not really what we expected. Yes, the same airline won last year, but it can be a little hard to believe. Southwest Airlines Do you have your favorite airline in line? Okay, keep that in your mind, and let’s see if you agree with the top airline of 2026. Ready? The top airline of 2026 is Spirit Airlines! The full list includes Spirit Airlines Southwest Airlines Skywest Airlines Alaska Airlines Hawaiian Airlines JetBlue Airways Delta Air Lines American Airlines Frontier Airlines United Airlines Envoy Air ©Spirit Airlines Now ready for some special titles? Best Airline Overall — Spirit Airlines Most Affordable Airline — Spirit Airlines Most Reliable Airline — Spirit Airlines Most Comfortable Airline — JetBlue Airways, Hawaiian Airlines, American Airlines, and Southwest Airlines Best Airline for Pets — SkyWest Airlines and Envoy Air Safest Airline — Frontier Airlines ©United Airlines With the survey, most people agreed that Spirit Airlines has the lowest rate of cancellations, delays, mishandled luggage, and denied boardings. For the most comfortable airlines, guests enjoyed the airlines with in-flight experiences, free Wi-Fi, extra legroom, and complimentary snacks and beverages (and to me, the Southwest snack mix will always be the best). Airplane Last year, Spirit also took the top spot overall and for affordability, but when it came to most reliable, it was Delta! Last year, United also scored high for the best airline for pets, which is nice to keep in mind, as well. Southwest Now you tell us: what’s the best airline for you? When it comes to dining at Disney World, you’ve got a TON of options. Want something quick and easy? You’ve got it. Something middle-of-the-road and comforting? Yep, that too. And if you’re looking for something upscale and luxurious, you can find that as well. Earl of Sandwich We recently stopped by an underrated Disney Springs spot — Earl of Sandwich — to try out some of their over-the-top cookies, and now we’re bringing you our FULL review. Is it worth a stop on your next trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth? Find out here! Sure, you know that Gideon’s Bakehouse and Summer House on the Lake are famous for their cookies, but did you know there’s another, under-the-radar spot to grab over-the-top cookies at Disney Springs?! Earl of Sandwich is home to well, sandwiches, of course — but they also serve up a ton of different types of cookies. They urged us to stop by and try them on our Instagram (pull our leg, why don’t ya?!), and of course, we’re people pleasers — so we had to oblige! We stopped by to try a few, starting with the Cookies and Cream Cookie for $3.99. Cookies and Cream We really wanted to like this, but unfortunately, it had the least amount of flavor of the three cookies we tried. It’s a sugar cookie base, as there are no cookies incorporated into the dough, only as a topping. This cookie would probably be more of a hit with kids, as the sugar cookie base is a sweet choice to pair with the cookies and cream. The cookies on top are surprisingly not stale-tasting, but the vanilla icing drizzle only contributes to the vanilla sugar cookie flavor rather than bringing out the cookies and cream flavor. At the end of the day, this is more of a vanilla sugar cookie than anything else. Cookies and Cream cookie Next, we tried the Salted Kit Kat Loaded Cookie, which is also $3.99. This one is covered in chocolate chips and KitKat pieces! Salted Kit Kat Loaded Cookie This cookie has a classic chocolate cookie style as its base, topped with KitKats and caramel. This is a decent cookie. It has a sturdy base with familiar flavors of brown and white sugar, creating a classic cookie with a new spin of caramel. The KitKats are unnecessary, though, as they are slightly stale and very melty. The cookie overall is a solid cookie that we think will be popular with kids and adults. Make sure to have napkins on hand for this one, as it gets melty quickly! Salted Kit Kat Loaded Cookie Finally, we tried the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cookie for $3.99. This cookie is covered in icing and loaded with Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal! Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cookie This was surprising in that it wasn’t quite as sweet as it looks! The icing is a cream cheese frosting, and the tartness of the cream cheese brings the sweetness down a level. The cookie itself has a good crumbly cookie texture, although it is so crumbly that it may fall apart as you remove it from the bag. Overall, this cookie was good; the only not great note is that the cereal on the outside is a little stale from being nestled in the cream cheese frosting, but it was still good! Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cookie In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for more restaurant updates from Disney World and beyond.
