These iconic hats are a great way to show off your Disney Side while visiting Disney Parks. Our partners at Disney.com recently launched a sweepstakes that invites guests to show their ear hats. Now through December 20, 2013, you can enter the Show Your Ears Sweepstakes by uploading a photo of yourself in a Disney ear hat to Disney.com/ShowYourEars. View the full article
  3. This past year has been pretty incredible for runDisney, and as we look back it has become apparent that the ladies are stepping up their game in a big way. In fact, according to our friends at RunningUSA, 8.6 million women completed a race last year, comprising 56 percent of the runners out there. At runDisney we are proud of all our races (like my kids, I can't have a favorite), but the response we have seen to our women's focused races is nothing short of amazing. View the full article

  5. You need to know your Disney Parks holiday decorations to ID this week’s mystery image - it’s the first stumper of our special December series. Please put your answers in the comments and we’ll update the post with the answer later today. View the full article
  6. I recently shared with you details about an online exclusive T-shirt celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Horizons. Being a long time fan of that classic attraction, I was thrilled to see other Horizons fans shared my passion (by the way, Omega Centauri was the most popular destination selected of the three shirts we offered). When we were planning the Horizons shirt, Disney Design Group artist Casey Jones suggested we offer another shirt featuring a different classic Epcot attraction, Journey Into Imagination. Fortunately, Casey, who created the artwork for the aforementioned Horizons shirt, had artwork ready to go. View the full article

  13. When I was younger, I loved when my parents would read stories to me. I still have my collection of Disney storybooks that I now read to my son. I can’t wait to add the newest book created especially for Disney Parks to that collection. Titled “The Magic Kingdom Storybook,” this incredible 128-page, hardback book was written and illustrated by Walt Disney Imagineer Jason Grandt. You may recall Jason from previous Disney Parks Blog articles about Princess Fairytale Hall in New Fantasyland or the Orange Bird in Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom Park. This book is amazing; it’s easily at the top of my gift list this year! I recently spoke with Jason to learn more about this exciting new book. View the full article
