  24. In a tradition started by Walt Disney himself in 1959, the Disneyland Resort hosted this year’s Rose Bowl teams in advance of their New Year’s Day game in Pasadena, Calif. Players and coaches from Stanford Cardinal and Michigan State Spartans were celebrated in a special ceremony this afternoon in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle in Disneyland park.
