Disney World never stops changing, and sometimes that means we’ve got to get used to some new rules. Magic Kingdom Whether it’s park policies, dining restrictions, or transportation schedules, Disney is always tweaking the way things work. If you’re planning a trip in 2025, there are a few curfews you’ll want to be aware of so you don’t get caught off guard. Let’s break down three big ones you should keep in mind before heading to the parks. Food Curfews One of the best parts of a Disney vacation is the food, but if you’re feeling hungry late at night, you’ll want to plan those late-night snacks carefully. Most food courts across Disney Resort hotels are typically available from 7 AM to 11 PM, but that’s not an across-the-board rule. Some locations may vary, so always check the hours for your specific resort. Pop Century’s new food court If you’re looking for a nightlife scene, Jellyrolls at Disney’s BoardWalk has been a go-to spot for dueling pianos and fun vibes for years now. Jellyrolls While it’s currently open from 7 PM to 1:45 AM, the bad news is that it will be closing permanently on April 19, 2025, which means there’ll be one less late-night option for guests who love staying out after the parks close. Late-Night Park Event Curfews Disney offers a few different ways to enjoy the parks after dark, but you’ll need to be aware of the timing and requirements for each. After Hours Events – These are separately ticketed events that let you stay in the park for three extra hours after closing. You’ll get complimentary popcorn, ice cream treats, and select beverages, and you can enter the park as early as 7 PM. These events range from $155 to $185 plus tax, depending on the park and date. Extended Evening Hours – This perk is available only to Deluxe Resort guests and lasts for two extra hours after the park closes. Unlike After Hours events, there are no complimentary snacks or drinks, and you must have a regular theme park admission to participate. After Hours at Magic Kingdom If you’re looking for a way to enjoy the parks late at night, make sure you choose the right option for your trip – otherwise, you might find yourself heading out earlier than expected. Transportation Curfews Getting around Disney World is super convenient, but you need to know when your ride is going to stop running. Here’s a quick breakdown of Disney’s transportation curfews: Buses – Service between Disney Resort hotels and theme parks begins 45 minutes before park opening and ends one hour after closing. If you’re heading to Disney Springs, buses only run during Disney Springs operating hours and stop one hour after closing. Monorail – The Resort and Express Monorails start 30 minutes before Magic Kingdom opens and stop one hour after it closes. The EPCOT Monorail starts 30 minutes before EPCOT opens but stays running for two hours after closing. Skyliner – The Skyliner stops running 90 minutes after EPCOT or Hollywood Studios closes. However, on nights when EPCOT has Extended Evening Hours, the Skyliner will only serve Disney’s Riviera Resort for one hour after closing. Guests staying at Pop Century, Art of Animation, and Caribbean Beach won’t be able to use it during that time. Parking Lot Trams — If you drove to the parks, parking lot trams run until 90 minutes after the park closes. The time that parking lot trams start running can vary, because most of the time guests are parked in the closest lots and don’t require trams at the beginning of the day. Skyliner And one last general curfew to note – Disney Resort hotels enforce quiet hours from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. So if you’re planning a balcony hangout or a poolside late-night chat, you’ll need to keep it down to avoid disturbing other guests. Pop Century at night Disney World is full of magic, but knowing the curfews can help you avoid some unexpected surprises on your trip. Whether it’s planning your late-night snacks, choosing the right after-hours event, or making sure you don’t miss your last ride home, these new curfews will definitely impact your 2025 trip. A MAJOR change has come to EPCOT’s newest E-Ticket attraction – – Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind – – and it will cause a ripple effect that could change your entire EPCOT trip. EPCOT Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind has been running on Disney’s virtual queue system since the attraction first opened in May of 2022. However, in February of 2025 Disney announced that the ride would be transitioning over to a traditional queue system as of February 25th. This queue change has ramifications not only for riding Cosmic Rewind, but for the park’s other rides, and even which entrance is best to access the park. Let’s start with the beginning of one’s EPCOT day. With Guardians transitioning to a traditional queue, many will choose to try and rope drop the coaster. However, that opens up a question of which entrance to enter EPCOT through. Unlike Disney World’s other 3 theme parks, EPCOT is unique in having two entrances. The first is the traditional front-of-park entrance (servicing the park’s parking lot, and the Walt Disney World’s bus and monorail transportation options), while the second is located in the park’s International Gateway in the World Showcase (servicing the walking path and boats from the EPCOT resort area as well as the Disney Skyliner loop). Inside the Cosmic Rewind queue To be blunt, the front entrance provides a much bigger advantage to those trying to rope drop Cosmic Rewind, as it’s much closer to the attraction. That in-turn nullifies a bit of the advantage of the “Deluxe Perk” that is the Skyliner. Disney World’s Skyliner Moving on from entrances, there’s the question of Lightning Lanes. In addition to its new standby queue, Cosmic Rewind WILL still be available as part both the Lightning Lane Single Pass and Lightning Lane Premier Pass offerings. However, the ride won’t initially be part of the park’s Lightning Lane Multi Pass offering. However, despite not being included in the system itself, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind moving to a standby queue does arguably make purchasing a Lightning Lane Multi Pass more worth it. See, since a much larger chunk of one’s potential EPCOT day may be spent in line waiting for Guardians, having Multi Pass available to use on other in-demand EPCOT attractions like Frozen Ever After, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and potentially the newly redesigned Test Track when it reopens later this year. Disney World Lightning Lanes have CHANGED Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind is moving from a virtual queue to a standby queue option at EPCOT, which is causing a domino effect through the Lightning Lane system and even which entrance is best to use at the park. Stay tuned to DFB for more on this change. This Is One of the BEST Things To Do in EPCOT and You Can’t Change My Mind Join the DFB Newsletter to get all the breaking news right in your inbox! Disney World has hundreds of different restaurants spread out over the entire resort, which can feel a little overwhelming when you’re trying to plan your trip, but that’s why we’re here! ‘Ohana Here at DFB, it’s our job to try all of Disney World’s restaurants to tell you what’s worth your hard-earned money, and what you may want to stay away from to avoid disappointment. We don’t just go to every restaurant once though — we visit regularly to keep you updated! Disney World is always changing, and that means restaurants are, too. ‘Ohana has long been a favorite of ours, but recently we’ve been less impressed with our meals there, and so have our readers. Before you book your upcoming dinner reservation here, these are four things you really need to know. The Lounge is Always an Option Dinner at ‘Ohana certainly isn’t cheap — it’ll cost you $65 for adults (plux tax and gratuity) and $42 for kids aged 3-9. While dinner is an all-you-can-eat buffet meal with Hawaiian favorites, it’s also possible that you or people in your group won’t be a fan of some of the offerings and you’ll feel like you don’t get your money’s worth. Lines for ‘Ohana That’s where the lounge comes in! Right next to ‘Ohana you’ll find Tambu Lounge. This lounge serves up some of the fan-favorite offerings from ‘Ohana, but without the fixed price. This way, you’re not paying for a full meal you may not eat much of, and you can pick and choose the entrees and drinks you know you’ll enjoy. Tambu Lounge While getting a spot in a Disney World lounge can sometimes mean a wait for a table, you won’t have to worry about paying any sort of cancelation fee like you would if you didn’t make your ‘Ohana reservation. Since plans can change on a dime in the parks, we think this is certainly the way to go if you’re on the fence about sitting down and dining somewhere. There Are No Characters Believe it or not, dinner at ‘Ohana is more expensive than breakfast, but it ISN’T a character meal! Breakfast at ‘Ohana is also an all-you-care-to-enjoy meal, plus you get the fun addition of getting to meet Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto. Lilo is so much fun! Breakfast reservations at ‘Ohana typically fill up faster than dinner, because most people want to experience a character dining experience when they’re paying $53 per adult to dine. We personally have found that both meals here are pretty good, but we do have a preference toward breakfast. Breakfast Skillets at ‘Ohana If you go into your reservation expecting to visit with some beloved characters after paying $60+ per adult only to find that no one’s there? Yeah, that’s pretty frustrating. The Most Iconic Dish Isn’t Always Available When you think of ‘Ohana, you likely think of the iconic ‘Ohana Noodles that are served here. However, these noodles are only served during dinner, which is a large reason why lots of people may choose dinner over breakfast, despite missing characters and the big price difference. ‘Ohana noodles are a favorite! However, we’ve got to be completely honest with you — sometimes the ‘Ohana Noodles aren’t available! Just like other Disney World restaurants, there are times when the restaurant experiences shortages and issues and certain menu items aren’t available. This is a relatively rare case, as the ‘Ohana Noodles are as popular as they are, but we don’t recommend going in for a dinner reservation ONLY for these. There are tons of other delicious offerings on your plate, so be open to trying new things, too! And you can also order just the noodles in Tambu Lounge if that’s what you’re really after! Recent Reviews Have Taken a Turn Being completely honest, we’ve seen some reviews from our readers recently that lead us to believe that ‘Ohana may be unfortunately going downhill in the world of Disney World restaurant quality. ‘Ohana Bread Pudding This breaks our hearts because we LOVE this place, but we’ve had readers share with us that they felt rushed during their meal, their service wasn’t up to Disney standards, or that the food was subpar. We’re planning on returning to this restaurant soon to try it out for ourselves and see what’s going on, but we recommend really looking closely at the menu to ensure there are options you’ll enjoy before booking a reservation. Peel-and-eat shrimp at Ohana If you’re intent on grabbing a reservation at this spot on your next vacation, you’ll want to set your alarm for 7 AM 60 days before your trip begins, because getting a reservation here is one of the most challenging parts about a Disney World vacation! However, you can always join the restaurant’s walk-up waitlist if it’s open on the day of your visit, and again, don’t forget about the lounge! Pork Dumpling Ultimately, it’s up to you and your group to decide whether or not ‘Ohana dinner is a good fit for your vacation. We’re always here to bring you the latest Disney World dining news, tips, and tricks, so stay tuned to DFB! Check out our full guide to table service dining in Disney World here! This toiletry bag has four compartments and is one of the most raved-about travel items on Amazon. It easily hangs in your hotel’s bathroom and is super easy to organize. It all zips up into one compact package with an extra storage pocket on the outside. What’s not to love, especially at this price? So many ponchos are either overpriced or hot and sticky (or sometimes both). But we love how this one is breathable, easily reusable, and the coverage it provides. If you’ve been a Disney Food Blog reader for a while, you probably know just how much we love Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie in the France Pavilion at EPCOT. Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie This patisserie offers an extensive menu of sandwiches, pastries, desserts, and more, so it’s no wonder why we (and so many others!) love this counter-service spot. We recently stopped by for lunch and grabbed an old favorite to see if it still holds up — check out our full review below! The Jambon Beurre (which literally means ham and butter) is a sandwich made with Ham, Cheese, and Dijon Mustard Butter on a Demi Baguette. You can have this sandwich served to you toasted or cold, but we have preferred this one served to us cold. For $10.95, it’s consistently been one of our favorite cheap lunches in EPCOT — but is it still? Jambon Beurre Yes! What’s not to love about this? You’ve got that Dijon mustard that adds the perfect tang against the salty ham and cheese. You can even have it toasted if you want, which gets the cheese all nice and melty. It’s just a great solid snack, and it’s pretty quick to grab — even if Les Halles has a line out the door. For $10.95, we feel like this is a pretty decent deal for something that’s consistently good. You could even share this with younger kiddos or those just looking for a snack. This thing is SO good It’s a fairly simple sandwich, which is why we keep coming back for it. We like that this sandwich is dressed with butter rather than mayo, and that it features thickly sliced ham, and Gruyère cheese. If you’re looking for a complex array of flavors, you’ll get your money’s worth in this sandwich. Jambon Beurre If you need us, chances are we’ll be at Les Halles. In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for more Disney snack updates. Make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for more reviews and the latest news! It has been an exciting day at Disney World. Both Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom have eliminated virtual queues and now offer standby lines. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind That means there are currently no virtual queues in Disney World (although we will likely see more pop up in the future). Of course, we were in the parks checking things out first-hand, and we have some surprising takeaways to share with you! Both Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure had been using a virtual queue until today, February 25th, when both rides switched to using a standby line in addition to Lightning Lane. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Today, we experienced both parks without virtual queues, and we wanted to share some takeaways. First, as the two attractions transition from a virtual queue to a standby line, they will be working on fine-tuning the wait times. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure We saw lots of big fluctuations at the beginning of the day (Cosmic Rewind even hit 170 minutes at one point!), and we also noticed that the line often seemed longer than what was posted. Just keep in mind that the wait times may not be as accurate for a bit as they work on transitioning to a standby line. Crowds at Cosmic Rewind We were also pretty surprised by the average wait times for the two attractions so far. They are both pretty popular rides, so we were worried we would see some hefty wait times. However, Cosmic Rewind has been hovering around a 60-70 minute wait so far today, and Tiana’s has been hovering around a 50-60 minute wait today. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure It is very possible that these average wait times will also adjust as they fine-tune the wait times for these attractions, but we were still impressed that the wait times were pretty manageable. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind We were also surprised that ONLY Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind was available during Early Entry today. The wait time stayed at around 35 minutes during Early Entry. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is not currently available during Early Entry, but it is possible that it will change in the future. Early Entry We were at EPCOT for rope drop and were really impressed with the organization. While there was a large crowd waiting to ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, the Cast Members did a great job of directing people and maintaining a sense of calm. There was no running to be first in line, as they controlled the crowds very well! Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind If you are rope-dropping either attraction, make sure you pay attention to Cast Member instructions and follow the flow of traffic! This will ensure everyone has the best experience possible. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure For now, there will be no more 7 AM wake-up calls to join the virtual queue! We will continue to monitor the crowds and wait times, so make sure to stay tuned to DFB for all your Disney World news! It’s the end of an era at Disney World. Jellyrolls Jellyrolls announced earlier this month that it will be leaving Disney’s BoardWalk after 30 years of operation. The boisterous dueling piano bar will have its final day of operation on April 19th, and while it will be reopening somewhere not on Disney property, we can’t help but feel the sting. So, we’re sharing our favorite stories from Jellyrolls over the years! Jellyrolls isn’t your typical Disney World bar. It’s known as a boisterous bar on Disney’s BoardWalk that hosts non-stop dueling pianos and a drink special each night (the “Jellyroll of the Day”). Talented performers entertain each night and play anything and everything upon request. The two baby grand pianos are a fixture of the bar. Many of our team members here at DFB have some incredibly fond memories of Jellyrolls, so we’re sharing some of our favorites. Crowd at Jellyrolls One of our team members said: I’ve only been a handful of times — the first being when it reopened after the closure. Everyone was so excited to see it reopen and the lines wound around the building. I think the only other time I went with my husband, and was one of the first “date nights” we’d had after moving to Orlando. It was a fun atmosphere and it wasn’t too crowded then for comfort, and it was super easy to dip out if we got a call that one of the kids was getting a little too antsy for us to make a quick and easy exit! So, very low pressure. The bar And, we HAVE to mention the time that our friends over at AllEars spent several hours there during the filming of a couple of their videos. If you’re an AllEars fan, imagine Quincy drinking a cocktail while Fry Bucket drinks a Red Bull because she’s doing a “No Sleep” challenge, where she can’t sleep until she rides every ride in Disney World. It was a busy night, and the vibes of Quincy and Fry being exhausted at the bar next to people having the time of their lives was too hilarious not to remember fondly. Jellyrolls musicians on stage Of course, we wouldn’t be here at DFB without AJ, and she had some seriously fond memories to share: When I first started DFB and I was doing the EPCOT festivals all by myself (e.g. going to every booth by myself on the first day and buying everything there, photographing it, etc.), I knew I would pass out if I went back to my hotel room to work on the festival blog posts. So, I would go to Jellyrolls with my computer, camera (because this was back before cell phones had good cameras so I had to use my DSLR), and little toggle to transfer my photos into my computer. I’d get a back high top table in the corner so that I didn’t bother anyone with my computer light, and I’d work and work and work. I’d order Tito’s Vodka and soda with lots of cherries and limes, and spend the next five or six hours uploading hundreds of photos, editing hundreds of photos, and writing all of the blog posts needed to cover the festival… As DFB grew and my team expanded, I still spent most of my Disney World nights at Jellyrolls, because after a full day in the parks, I had plenty of work to do and I was still so exhausted that if I went back to my hotel I would definitely fall asleep. So, I got to know the Jellyrolls staff pretty well, met one of my best friends who was a manager there, and also got to enjoy the best live music on property! Piano battle at Jellyrolls While we’re sad to see Jellyrolls leave Disney’s BoardWalk, we’re happy to know that it’s not gone for good! We’ll let you know once reopening details are announced for this spot in its new location. In the meantime, we’ll keep an eye out for more updates from Disney’s BoardWalk. After months of waiting, we finally know when Moana 2 will premiere on Disney+! ©Disney The sequel to the Oscar-nominated Disney film was originally developed as a TV series, but it was revamped into a movie that ended up making more than $1 billion at the box office. You can stream Moana 2 on Disney+ beginning on March 12th, 2025. Moana 2 “reunites Moana and Maui three years later for an expansive new voyage alongside a crew of unlikely seafarers. After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced.” ©Disney In case you missed it, the movie made box office history by being the highest global box office debut for an animated movie ever, the biggest Thanksgiving movie release ever, and the highest-grossing five-day release of all time. To say that people enjoy these Moana stories would be an understatement! ©Disney One of our team members was lucky enough to view an initial screening of the movie, and if you haven’t seen it yet, you can check out their review below: Moana 2 mostly lives up to the hype and I was very happy with the end result. While it’s not as good as the first or a flawless movie, I still think most audiences will enjoy this regardless of age and gender, and if you’re a big fan of the first one like me, you need to check this new Disney animated movie out! ©Disney In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for more Disney movies and streaming updates. One of our favorite small nooks in Disney World just went through a change that’s bad news for all the “tall nappers” out there! Contemporary Resort On our most recent trip to Disney World’s Contemporary Resort, we noticed a big change to the seating area up on the third floor. Or, to be more precise, it was a change that made things smaller… with big ramifications. Disney has switched out the furniture in the area, replacing the long couches that were previously there with a mix of smaller couches and chairs. Contemporary Resort couches The previous couches were the perfect size for those who were on the taller side to stretch out and get some rest, and maybe even catch some z’s, in the midst of taking a quick break during a busy day at the nearby Magic Kingdom. That said, these changes didn’t seem to have much impact on the business of the seating area as to our eye it was just as crowded as usual during our trip to the resort. A recent furniture change at the Contemporary may leave tall nappers out of luck when looking for a quick respite from the Magic Kingdom. Disney World is constantly changing, and sometimes that means saying goodbye to beloved restaurants. Spirit of Aloha We’ve seen our fair share of dining spots close over the years, but some sting a little more than others. Whether it’s a fan-favorite dinner show, a go-to sports bar, or a solid table service option, these closures have left a noticeable gap in Disney dining. But with every ending comes a new beginning, and some of these closures have paved the way for exciting new additions. Let’s talk about four Disney World restaurants that have permanently closed, and what, if anything, has taken their place. Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show This one was a tough loss for many Disney fans. The Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort was a long-running luau experience featuring live entertainment, Polynesian cuisine, and fire dancing. It was a unique offering that brought a little bit of island magic to Disney World. Luau Show at Spirit of Aloha Unfortunately, it was permanently closed in 2022 to make way for the new Island Tower at the Polynesian. While we did get Wailulu Bar & Grill, the loss of this experience still stings for guests who loved the dinner show’s immersive atmosphere. Wailulu Bar & Grill Here’s our review of Wailulu Bar & Grill! ESPN Club If you ever found yourself on Disney’s BoardWalk looking for a place to catch a game, chances are you ended up at the ESPN Club. This spot was a staple for sports fans, serving up classic pub food with plenty of TVs so you’d never miss a play. ESPN Club However, the ESPN Club closed permanently, and in its place, we’re got something entirely different – the Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers. This restaurant is all about elegant decor, Instagram-worthy desserts, and a more refined dining experience. The Cake Bake Shop It’s a major shift from the sports bar vibe, but it’s certainly something new and exciting for the area. We tried the controversial $23 cake slices at Cake Bake Shop — Here’s how it went Big River Grille & Brewing Works Another BoardWalk closure, Big River Grille & Brewing Works, was one of the few spots in Disney World where you could get house-brewed beer with your meal. It was a more casual dining option that flew under the radar for many guests, but those who knew about it enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and solid menu. Big River Grille & Brewing Works As of now, there’s no announced replacement for this location, so we’ll have to wait and see what Disney decides to do with the space. Hopefully, another great dining option will take its place soon! Tokyo Dining EPCOT’s Japan Pavilion has always been a fantastic spot for unique dining, and Tokyo Dining was a go-to for sushi and tempura lovers. The restaurant had an elegant yet casual feel, making it a great option for those looking for a high-quality meal without a signature dining price tag. Tokyo Dining While Tokyo Dining has closed permanently, it has been replaced by Shiki Sai: Sushi Izakaya, which brings a new take on Japanese cuisine to EPCOT. Shiki-Sai in the fall This restaurant offers a more immersive dining experience with seasonal menu items and a focus on traditional Japanese dining culture, so while we lost Tokyo Dining, we gained an exciting new option in its place. 2 things you have to try at Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya! More Closures Are Coming Due to upcoming construction projects at Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom, several more restaurants will be closing, including the likes of PizzeRizzo, Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano, Restaurantosaurus, and Aunt Polly’s Dockside Inn. PizzeRizzo Our hearts break for those restaurants we’re going to lose, but at the same time, we’re excited about the new spots that are coming in the future. Restaurantosaurus Disney World’s dining landscape is always evolving, and that means we’re likely to see even more changes in the future. While we definitely miss these restaurants, we’re always keeping an eye on what’s coming next. Stay tuned to DFB for all the latest Disney food reviews, news, and tips! Disney World is full of tempting treats, but finding one that’s both delicious and budget-friendly? Now that can be a challenge! Gaston’s Tavern menu at Magic Kingdom With so many over-the-top snacks popping up in the parks, it’s easy to get caught up in the hype and drop serious cash on a single dessert. But what if we told you that one of the best sweet treats in Magic Kingdom is just over five bucks? Let’s talk about a crispy, custardy dream that might just be your new favorite snack. Crème Brûlée Croissant from Gaston’s Tavern We’ve seen a lot of crazy croissants in Disney World, but the Crème Brûlée Croissant from Gaston’s Tavern is simple, elegant, and worth every penny of its $5.29 price tag. Crème Brûlée Croissant Imagine a flaky, golden croissant filled with smooth vanilla bean custard, then topped with a crackly, caramelized sugar crust. Sounds amazing, right? Well, it is – but first, grab some napkins, because this thing is messy. Messy, but delicious The croissant itself isn’t quite as fluffy as some others we’ve tried, but it still has that classic buttery softness. The real magic happens on top, where the brûléed sugar layer adds a satisfying crunch and a deep, caramelized sweetness with just a hint of that signature brûlée char. And then there’s the custard – so much custard. It’s light, creamy, and packed with vanilla flavor, making every bite a perfect balance of crisp, creamy, and sweet. Honorable Mentions Warm Cinnamon Roll from Gaston’s Tavern Gaston doesn’t just serve up breakfast – he serves up one of the biggest, gooiest cinnamon rolls you’ll ever see! This warm and fluffy treat, priced at $7, is a fantastic way to start your day in Fantasyland. It’s generously covered in a rich maple-flavored icing that adds the perfect touch of sweetness. Gaston’s Tavern — Warm Cinnamon Roll Want to make it even better? Ask a friendly Cast Member for an extra cup of icing! While they may not always be able to grant your request, more often than not, they’ll be happy to provide a little extra drizzle to take your cinnamon roll experience to the next level. It’s big enough to share – if you’re willing! Cheeseburger Spring Rolls at The Adventureland Cart They may not win any beauty contests, but when it comes to flavor, the cheeseburger spring rolls are a real winner! Sold at the Adventureland Spring Roll Wagon near the entrance to the land, these crispy, golden rolls are a longtime fan favorite for a reason. Cheeseburger Spring Rolls The cheeseburger spring roll takes everything you love about a classic fast-food burger – savory beef, melted cheese, and even a hint of pickle flavor – and wraps it all up in a crunchy shell. Priced at around $9.50, you get two rolls and a side of mayo-based dipping sauce packed with pickle bits for an extra tangy kick. Cheeseburger Spring Roll Not sure if you want two of the same flavor? No problem! The cart often offers a second rotating spring roll option, and you can mix and match to get the best of both worlds. Adventureland Spring Roll cart Again, if you’re someone who loves filled pastries (or even if you just have a soft spot for crème brûlée), this croissant is absolutely worth a try. It’s indulgent without being over-the-top, and at just over five bucks, it’s a great way to treat yourself without breaking the bank. So the next time you’re in Magic Kingdom, swing by Gaston’s Tavern and give it a try, and in the meantime, stay tuned to DFB for all the latest from Disney. The days of waking up at the crack of dawn just to stare at your phone are officially over (for now, at least)—Disney World’s Virtual Queue system is officially no more! Or, at least, for the time being. Magic Kingdom A Virtual Queue at Disney World is a digital reservation system that allows guests to secure a spot in line for certain popular attractions without physically waiting in a standby line. Instead, guests join the queue through the My Disney Experience app and are assigned a boarding group. When their group is called, they can return to the ride within a designated return time. But now, Virtual Queues are no longer in use for current attractions at the parks. Starting February 25th, Virtual Queues are no longer being used for Guardians of The Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind over at EPCOT, and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Over at EPCOT, Guardians of The Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind started its first day of being Virtual Queue-less with just 45 minutes. A huge shock, especially when keeping in mind that Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure was at 55 minutes this morning! My Disney Experience app But of course, things changed pretty quickly, and as wild as an actual rollercoaster, Cosmic Rewind went from 45 minutes to a whopping 170! Ouch! My Disney Experience app The almost 3-hour wait was mind-blowing (but not surprising given the popularity of this attraction) however the standby line has now settled to 85 minutes. Phew, what a ride huh? Cosmic Rewind is also available to ride for guests staying at a Disney World resort hotel and entering the park with Early Entry. Guardians of The Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind At the Magic Kingdom, however, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure experienced a delayed opening, which was not ideal for its first day without a Virtual Queue. The lines were backed up but finally, at 9:31 am, the attraction was back up and running. Despite the delay, however, the ride was posted at just a 45-minute standby wait time. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure standby line Currently, the wait has shifted to 20 minutes, which was surprising to us, given its late start, as well as the popularity of this attraction. However, we’re guessing the times will shift throughout the day. My Disney Experience app If these wait times seem less than ideal for your upcoming trip to Disney World, keep in mind that Disney offers a skip-the-line system for purchase called Lightning Lane Single Pass that allows you to bypass the standard line for a shorter wait. Guardians of The Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Overall, the first day without Virtual Queues at Disney World hasn’t been too bad so far. We’ll keep you posted on any major changes or impacts as the day unfolds. Stay tuned with us here at DFB for all the latest in Disney news! Hollywood Studios is full of movie magic, thrilling attractions, and…some truly hilarious guest commentary. Disney’s Hollywood Studios With so many immersive experiences and unexpected surprises around every corner, it’s easy to understand why guests might get a little confused. But some of the things we’ve overheard? Absolute comedy gold. Here are some of the funniest things we’ve heard while wandering around Disney’s Hollywood Studios. “Is this a roller coaster?” If you’ve ever been on Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, you know that it’s a high-speed, indoor, launch coaster with multiple inversions. You also know that there’s a giant set of speakers blasting Aerosmith into your ears and a shoulder harness locking you into place. Rock on! Which is why it’s so funny when guests, already seated and fully strapped in, turn to the Cast Members and ask, “Wait…is this a roller coaster?” At that point, it’s too late – you’re going from zero to 57 mph in 2.8 seconds, whether you were expecting it or not. “How does the ride vehicle get outside?” About the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, this one always makes us chuckle. Guests will often stand outside the attraction, staring at the track section that sits out in front of the show building, and try to figure out exactly how the ride vehicle gets there. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Some assume it somehow loops back outside, while others try to work out an elaborate track-switching system. The truth? That section of track is just a prop! The actual ride never goes outside – but we love watching people try to crack the case. “Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster doesn’t go upside down.” One of the funniest theme park debates we’ve ever heard was a full-on argument about whether or not Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster actually goes upside down. Get ready to go topsy-turvy One guest insisted it didn’t because they “can’t ride things that go upside down” – despite having ridden it three times already. Their friend, knowing this was incorrect, pulled out their phone, did a quick Google search, and broke the news. Oops. Talk about ruining the magic. Muppets Are Taking Over! Speaking of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, in Disney announced that the Muppets will be partnering with some of “music’s biggest stars for a rockin’ music festival” in the coaster’s upcoming re-theme. This likely means that while the Muppets will be the stars of the ride, we can also expect appearances from some major musical artists. ©Disney Looking closely at the artwork, we can see that the concept art suggests a colorful design for the ride vehicle that aligns with the Electric Mayhem’s iconic aesthetic. It even appears that Dr. Teeth’s keyboard is integrated into the vehicle, which would be a fantastic touch! ©Disney Also, it looks like the ride will feature some of our favorite muppets like Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem crew – Animal, Floyd Pepper, Janice, Zoot, and Lips – along with Kermit and Miss Piggy. ©Disney Since the ride will now be set at a music festival, there’s definitely room for more surprise Muppet appearances along the way like Fozzie Bear, Beaker, Dr. Honeydew, and the Swedish Chef. “I’m in the park with the tower ride…you know, the Jurassic Park ride?” Ah, here’s the classic Disney park mix-up. Hollywood Studios has The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Universal’s Islands of Adventure has Jurassic Park River Adventure. These are, in fact, two completely different rides, in two completely different parks, owned by two completely different companies. Tower of Terror But that didn’t stop one guest from confidently announcing into their phone that they were at the park with “the Jurassic Park ride” while standing right next to Tower of Terror. Somewhere, their friend was frantically looking for a T. Rex that simply did not exist. “Wait…is this an actual hotel?” For our last one in this post, we come to the Tower of Terror. Oh, the Tower of Terror. One of the most iconic rides in all of Disney World, featuring an eerily abandoned hotel, a creepy backstory, and a drop sequence that has guests screaming in terror (or delight). But we can’t tell you how many times we’ve heard guests ask if there’s a real hotel component to the attraction. Hollywood Tower Hotel No, you cannot book a room at The Hollywood Tower Hotel, but we fully support the idea of Disney turning this into a Tower of Terror-themed resort. Imagine the ambiance, the theming, the ghostly bellhops greeting you at check-in – Disney, make it happen! Fun Facts And before we wrap things up, here are some fun tidbits about Tower of Terror that you might not know! Standing at 199 feet, Tower of Terror is the second tallest attraction in Disney World. It’s just half a foot shorter than Expedition Everest! Any taller, and the FAA would require it to have a blinking red aviation light, which would ruin the illusion of a spooky abandoned hotel. The attraction is packed with references to The Twilight Zone, including the Mystic Seer machine from Nick of Time and Caesar the Dummy from Caesar and Me. Speaking of Caesar, Cast Members make it a habit to greet him daily – because no one wants an angry dummy lurking around! In the pre-show video, keep an eye on the little girl in the elevator – she’s holding a very familiar stuffed mouse! The queue is full of hidden details, but one of our favorites is the mail slots in the check-in area. The letters inside? They’re real notes left by Cast Members for future Cast Members to read and add their own! Imagineers watched every episode of The Twilight Zone (twice!) to make sure they got the details just right. The attraction’s color scheme and Moroccan architectural influences were carefully chosen to blend in with EPCOT’s Morocco Pavilion, because you can see the tower from across World Showcase Lagoon! Tower of Terror Disney Parks are full of memorable moments, and sometimes, those moments come in the form of hilarious guest commentary. We get it – between the elaborate theming, thrilling rides, and immersive experiences, Disney World can be a little disorienting! But hey, if it leads to more overheard gems like these, we’re not complaining. As always, stay tuned to DFB for all the latest from Disney. If you want to relive the 90s at the happiest place on Earth, then 90s Nite at Disneyland Resort is where you need to be! This event is a Millennial’s dream and features dance parties, sing-alongs, and more to celebrate the 1990s. ©Disney 90s Nite will take place on March 4th and March 6th. Unfortunately, the event is already sold out for 2025, but Disney announced the most PERFECT popcorn bucket we have ever seen for it, and we needed to share it with you! You will probably want to make sure you are sitting for this reveal because we think this popcorn bucket is amazing. During 90s Nite, attendees can purchase a Powerline Max Bucket! But we also have even better news. While it is only available at 90s Nite for now, it will be available for all guests later this spring at Disneyland! ©Disney That’s right. You can purchase the Powerline Max Bucket whether or not you have a 90s Nite ticket. You will just need to be a bit more patient if you don’t have a ticket. The bucket will be available at 90s Nite on March 4th and March 6th and then during regular hours later in the spring. Powerline Max is coming soon to a bucket near you! We are obsessed with this new popcorn bucket! However, if you are attending 90s Nite, the bucket is not all there is to look forward to. In addition to being able to take advantage of the attractions, special entertainment, fun merchandise, and themed photos, there will also be some exclusive food and drink offerings. ©Disney We’ll start with the Fried Apple Pie Sundae, which will be available at Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor. This treat is fried apple pie served with vanilla ice cream, spiced caramel, and whipped cream. ©Disney You can also grab the After School Fruit Punch at the Little Red Wagon. The punch is apple juice with pineapple and cherry flavors served with a themed glow cube. This is a fun, non-alcoholic option available at the event. ©Disney There are even more non-alcoholic options too! You can get the Lemon-Lime Punch at Galactic Grill and Red Rose Taverne. It is made from Powerade and Sprite and has a creamy mango topper. ©Disney If you are looking for something savory, you can grab the Chicken-Bacon Cheesy Garlic Pretzel Bread at Edelweiss Snacks and Maurice’s Treats. This snack is a chicken and bacon-stuffed cheesy pretzel bread. ©Disney We aren’t stopping there, though. You can also find Loaded Taco Fries at Galactic Grill. This dish consists of crinkle-cut fries topped with refried beans, seasoned ground beef, spiced cheese sauce, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, olives, green onions, and a sour cream drizzle. ©Disney For a sweet and savory combo, you might want to try the Chicken and Funnel Cake at Stage Door Café. It is a funnel cake topped with chicken tenders, whipped syrup with powdered sugar, and whipped cream. ©Disney You can also get a Crunchy Taco at River Belle Terrace. The taco is filled with ground beef and jalapeño-cheese sauce over crispy tortilla chips with pico de gallo. ©Disney There is an Orange-glazed Chicken Bowl available at Bengal Barbecue. The bowl features garlic fried rice, scallions, and orange sauce. ©Disney We saved the best for last. You can also grab a Monte Cristo Pizza from Cafe Orleans. Yep, a Monte Cristo PIZZA. This snack is puff pastry with house-made blueberry thyme jam, rosemary ham, turkey breast, gruyère, brie, and Swiss. ©Disney Even if you aren’t attending 90s Nite, there is so much to do at Disneyland that it can feel a bit overwhelming.
