We’ve got an important warning before you plan your Disney World park outfit around those gorgeous Cinderella Minnie Ears that are popping up all over social media! Cinderella Ears Earlier this year, Disney dropped a new Cinderella collection in honor of the iconic movie’s 75th anniversary. The collection included plenty of gorgeous items inspired by Cinderella, including a spirit jersey, light-up glass slipper, and MagicBand+. But the star of the show was the gorgeous Cinderella Minnie Ears, which have gone viral on social media! But we’ve got an important heads-up for anyone planning to wear these beauties in the park… It was love at first sight when we spotted the stunning Cinderella Minnie Ears. The silver sequin bow with the heart in the center gave us total glass slipper vibes, and the glittery ears are made to catch all of that Florida sunshine. The ears in Magic Kingdom And we weren’t the only ones charmed by these gorgeous Ears — we’ve seen them pop up EVERYWHERE on social media over the past few months! Finally, we couldn’t hold out any longer and had to snag a pair of these Cinderella Ears for ourselves to test whether they’re truly the perfect fit. Cinderella Ears! On the plus side, the Ears are just as pretty as the first time we saw them and fell in love. But we were disappointed to find out that actually wearing them in the park was a DISASTER! Just Look at That Shine! Our first issue with the Ears is that they’re super HEAVY! It literally felt like wearing a second head, there was so much weight to them. Plus, the plastic comb on the headband was verrrrry uncomfortable — we could feel it digging into our head the whole time. Ouch! With all the weight, it felt like the Ears were going to fall off whenever we turned our head. Although we were pleasantly surprised with their staying ability since they never did fall off, it just felt like they were unstable perched up there. Yes, They’re Pretty, But Beware! Overall, our verdict is that we still think the Cinderella Ears are absolutely beautiful…but they’re better for displaying than actually wearing in the parks. We had a headache after wearing them for 15 minutes and had to take them off before hitting the 30-minute mark. Plus, they’re so heavy, it still felt like we were wearing “phantom ears” for 8 minutes after we took them off! Better for Admiring Than Wearing! We did get complimented on them, even during the short time we wore them, so they’re definitely eye-catching, but we won’t be wearing these Ears to the parks again. Overall, the Cinderella Ears are about as comfortable to wear as a glass slipper. Maybe that was the point all along! We’ll continue to test out some of the most popular theme park accessories and attire to help you plan your trip, so stay tuned to DFB for the latest updates! When it comes to dining at Disney World, you’ve got a TON of options. Want something quick and easy? You’ve got it. Something middle of the road and comforting? Yep, that too. And if you’re looking for something upscale and luxurious, you can find that as well. Welcome to Disney World We stopped by Surf Doggies at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon to see what was cookin’, and now we’re bringing you our FULL review. Is it worth a stop on your next trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth? Find out here! Atmosphere There’s nothing fancy about Surf Doggies, and that’s kind of the point. It’s classic beach shack energy: outdoor walk-up window, a few umbrellas for shade, and a soundtrack of screaming kids and crashing waves in the background. Surf Doggies But enough about the restaurant — what’s on the menu here?! Menu This isn’t a “read the menu and contemplate your life choices” kind of place. The offerings are super simple and made for people on the go. You’ve basically got one main food option: the Foot-long All-Beef Hot Dog with Chips. That’s it. Surf Doggies No fancy toppings. No seasonal specials. No gluten-free buns. Just one very long hot dog and a small bag of Lay’s. And you know what? Sometimes that’s all you need. If you’re into customizing, there’s a condiment station nearby with ketchup, mustard, relish, and spicy mustard. So you can go full “hot dog bar” if that’s your thing. And now, onto the main event — the food! Eats We grabbed the Foot-long All-Beef Hot Dog for $12.79. This comes with a bag of chips. In our case, it was a bag of Lay’s. The Foot-long All-Beef Hot Dog is exactly what it says it is: big, beefy, and begging for condiments. Foot-long All-Beef Hot Dog We split it between two people, which was honestly the move—this thing is huge and super easy to share. One of us went ketchup-only, one of us did ketchup on the side (a very specific choice), and we both agreed: it’s a decent dog. Foot-long All-Beef Hot Dog Is it life-changing? No. But it’s solid theme park food, and the all-beef base gives it a better flavor than your average hot dog stand. It’s grilled (not boiled, thank goodness), has a little snap to it, and fits the “I’m wet, sunburned, and mildly starving” mood perfectly. The bun’s soft, nothing fancy, but it holds up. And while you won’t find gourmet toppings here, it’s kind of nice to just doctor it up yourself and keep it moving. Foot-long All-Beef Hot Dog and Lay’s Chips The chips? They’re just plain Lay’s. No frills, no surprises. They do the job if you need a salty crunch, but they’re definitely not the star of the show. Nosh or Not This Disney World restaurant is a must-visit if… You need something fast and filling between water rides. You love a classic all-beef hot dog and aren’t picky about extras. You want something you can easily share without breaking the bank. You should skip this Disney World spot if… You’re looking for variety or allergy-friendly options. You want air conditioning or a place to sit down and relax. You’re not into hot dogs (because, well, that’s all they’ve got). Overall Surf Doggies is one of those classic Disney water park stops that doesn’t pretend to be more than it is. It’s not going to win any culinary awards, but it’s convenient, satisfying, and pretty perfect when you’re in that mid-park-day hunger zone. We’re not saying plan your whole day around Surf Doggies—but if you’re at Typhoon Lagoon and need a fast bite without drama, it’s a solid choice. There are a few perks to staying at a Disney World hotel! Disney’s Wilderness Lodge From free transportation to free water park admission, there are more than a few benefits that help you justify that Disney resort price. Thankfully, Disney has confirmed that in 2026, one of our favorite perks is back, and we couldn’t be more excited for those early Disney mornings. There are so many perks to staying at a Disney World hotel, but it’s almost undeniable that one of the best perks is Early Theme Park Entry. Early Entry in Disney World has changed a bit recently, but the important thing to know is that it gives Disney resort guests an extra 30 minutes in the parks before they open. Magic Kingdom Early Entry Disney has finally confirmed that Early Entry will be returning through 2026! This is valid for every guest with a valid ticket at all 4 Disney World theme parks! 30 minutes might not seem like a huge difference, but you would be surprised just how much of a leg up it gives you during your park day. Early Entry Early Entry is a bit different at each park because not every attraction is open. For example, at Magic Kingdom, only Tomorrowland and Fantasyland are included in Early Entry, but Tron is not on the list despite being in Tomorrowland. Now, just because a ride isn’t open during early entry, that doesn’t mean you can’t hop in line for it! Tron opens at 9 AM (the same time as Magic Kingdom), but if you want, you can hop in line at 8:30 during early entry, which can make a huge difference. TRON Lightcycle / Run opens at 9 AM These changes can really impact your rope drop strategy in each park! Not only has rope drop changed, though, in Summer 2025, you can meet some of your favorite characters during Early Entry. While this might not impact tons of people, this is amazing news for people who love a solid character meet and greet. Cinderella This summer, a few characters will begin their meet and greets inside the parks DURING Early Entry, instead of waiting for the park’s official opening! We should be seeing these changes around May 27th, 2025, although we don’t have an official list of characters just yet. Early Entry crowds at Animal Kingdom We are pumped that this Disney perk is staying around in 2026! (Although we still wish it were an hour like it used to be!) Disney also confirmed that Free Water Park Admission would be returning, as well as the Free Dining Plan for Kids. There is so much to look forward to this summer and next year. You can even start booking your 2026 vacations now for dates through October 2026. If planning sounds stressful, let someone else do it! Small World Vacations is our long-time trusted travel partner! They have tons of Disney knowledge, will find you the best deals, and it’s free of charge! Let them make your vacation more magical and less stressful. There is no lack of options when dining at Disney World. There is something for every palate and every budget, but how exactly do you decide what is right for your family? That is where we come in! We have eaten everywhere in Disney World and aren’t stopping there. We are constantly reviewing new food items and revisiting locations to make sure you have all the information you need to have the best dining experience at Disney World. Walt Disney World Swan Hotel We recently stopped by Garden Grove at the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel to see what was cookin’, and now we’re bringing you our FULL review. Is it worth an adventure out to this hotel for the food? We are giving you all our thoughts! Atmosphere If you are hoping to dine at Garden Grove, you will want to pay close attention to its hours! It is currently open only for breakfast from 7 AM until 11:30 AM and is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. That gives you a 4 1/2-hour window from Thursday through Monday to chow down on breakfast here! Also, be aware that the Swan Hotel is owned by Marriott, not Disney World, and is not a part of the Disney Dining Plan, nor can you charge your meal to your room. Garden Grove The centerpiece of this restaurant is a 25-foot oak tree that towers in the center of the dining room. The tree is adorned with twinkling lights and gorgeous lanterns for an impactful first impression. Garden Grove Garden Grove is designed to make you feel like you are dining in an eatery in New York’s Central Park. Not only is the 25-foot oak tree the centerpiece, but the restaurant is covered in green, with tree murals surrounding you. The restaurant itself is round for a natural look. There is a decent-sized waiting room with a sofa and seats for about 12 people. Here’s the waiting room! This restaurant used to serve more meals than just breakfast and offered character dining. However, as of January 2020, character dinners are no longer held. But maybe one day, character dining will return to Garden Grove! The dining room Now that we have seen the restaurant, let’s see what’s on the menu! Menu While breakfast is the only meal available here, the menu offers a wide variety of breakfast favorites. If you want something lighter, they offer Continental offerings like Steel Cut Oatmeal, Southern Grits, or Fresh Fruit. ©Disney You can also choose from some Brunch options like a Three Egg Omelet, Eggs Benedict, or Steak & Eggs. ©Disney There are also plenty of other Entrees you can select from, with lots of breakfast classics. You can get Buttermilk Pancakes, Smokin’ D’s Biscuits & Gravy, or Avocado Toast. ©Disney If you aren’t super hungry or want to add a little something something to your meal, there are also lots of side options. From bacon and sausage links to a short stack of pancakes or a bowl of berries, you can finish off any meal with one of the sides. ©Disney There are also a few options for Kids’ Meals. They can choose from Mickey Mouse Belgian Waffles, Kids All-American Breakfast, and Pancakes. ©Disney Finally, there are plenty of drinks to choose from as well. You can pick from a classic like milk, juice, coffee, or hot tea. Or, you can opt for a cocktail like a Mimosa or Pomegranate Red Wine Sangria. There is also an option for Bottomless Drinks for 90 minutes! ©Disney And now, the moment we have all been waiting for, let’s get to the food! Eats First up, we grabbed the Belgian Waffle for $19. This is a waffle topped with house-made berry compote, sweetened vanilla butter, cinnamon sugar, and maple syrup. Now, we found that the waffle was crispy, if not just a litttle dry on the inside. With the toppings, it all evened out, though. Belgian Waffle The berry compote is quite sweet, but it does have juicy notes of ripe berries. We found that the compote was similar to what you might find inside a pie, but we almost wish it were less sugary and more focused on the berries (especially when paired with the maple syrup, which adds even more sugar). Despite our minor complaints, we wish there were a bit more berry compote with this dish. The butter is soft and fluffy, but it is super easy to spread on the waffle. Here’s a closer look at the toppings! Next, we tried the Croque Madame for $22. This sandwich is made with thinly shaved ham, gruyere cheese, sourdough bread, sunny-side up egg, mornay sauce, petite greens, and balsamic dressing. If you are looking for a savory and filling breakfast option, this is it. Croque Madame The ham is salty and smoky, and thinly sliced, which gives it a great texture. The cheese is melted on top of the slice of bread. The cheese is Gruyère, so it has a slight nutty and creamy texture that is the perfect complement for the ham. The bread was wonderfully crispy even after it sat for a bit and was covered in toppings. It was buttery, carby goodness. The mornay sauce tasted like a creamy mustard, which was just what we needed with the smooth cheese. This dish had two eggs on top, one was cooked perfectly to a sunny side up egg, while the other had a gel-like yolk, but we’re just gonna chalk that up to bad luck. YUM! Oh, and the salad had a tangy vinaigrette on it that worked really well with the fresh lettuce. We tasted bright lemon notes, complemented by olive oil, onion, and a hint of balsamic. The salad was lovely! Drinks To drink, we picked up the Pomegranate Red Wine Sangria for $12. This wine is a great combination of fruitiness, sweetness, and some tannins. However, it is not a pucker-your-face level of tannins. Pomegranate Red Wine Sangria It tastes fruity, although we wouldn’t say pomegranate is the most prominent flavor. There is definitely a lot of citrus flavor, and we would also suggest an apple-y flavor. This was very tasty, but if you really wanted to taste pomegranate, you would probably be disappointed. However, we thought this sangria was a wonderful blend of sweetness, tartness, and acidity. Nosh or Not This Disney World restaurant is a must-visit if… You’re staying at Disney’s Swan & Dolphin Resort — If you are staying nearby, the dining room is really something worth seeing in person. That said, we don’t think you should go out of your way to dine here; Disney World has a LOT of great breakfast restaurants to choose from. You want to dine somewhere with a unique atmosphere — Let’s be honest — the giant tree is really the big “wow” factor at this restaurant. It’s a great spot for pretty photos and a nice meal. You want a nice, filling breakfast — Skip the fast-food meal! If you want a hearty, filling meal, this is a great option! You should skip this Disney World spot if… You’re looking for a quiet, relaxing breakfast to start your morning — If you are looking for a quieter breakfast spot, this probably won’t be it. It echoes quite a bit in the restaurant, so the sound levels can get a bit loud. You’re in a rush — The speed was a little on the slow side, so we would say it’s probably best to avoid this spot if you have other places to be. You are NOT walking or taking Disney World transportation — Note that this restaurant does not validate for parking, and it costs $38 before tax, so if you aren’t staying at the hotel, walking, or taking free Disney transportation, it makes the meal extra expensive. Overall We had a nice meal at this restaurant! We will admit, the dining room gets a little loud when it fills up, but you can’t deny that the New York Central Park vibe is pretty breathtaking. This would be a great choice if you are staying in one of the Swan and Dolphin hotels. What a meal! In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for more restaurant updates from Disney World and beyond. Disney World hotel guests receive many perks, including ones that can completely change your Disney World vacation, and Disney has just confirmed that this super popular perk is returning for 2026. Disney’s BoardWalk We’re always trying to squeeze in one more ride (or two or three), and Disney is making it easier for us to hang out in the parks a little longer. Extended Evening Hours are coming back in 2026! What are Extended Evening Hours? You might know them by their past name, Extra Magic Hours, but it’s when Disney World Resort guests staying at specific hotels get to stay in the parks longer than everyone else. That does sound pretty magical, right? EPCOT at night If you’re staying at any of the following Deluxe Resorts or Deluxe Villa Resorts, you can spend more time in the parks after they close: Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Disney’s Beach Club Resort Disney’s BoardWalk Inn Disney’s Contemporary Resort Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Disney’s Yacht Club Resort Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas — Jambo House and Kidani Village Disney’s Beach Club Villas Disney’s BoardWalk Villas Disney’s Old Key West Resort Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows Disney’s Riviera Resort Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa The cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort (only for Disney Vacation Club Cabins) The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel Walt Disney Swan Reserve Shades of Green at Walt Disney World Resort Swan and Dolphin Hotels Not every park has extended evening hours every day. You’ll need to check the calendar on the My Disney Experience app or website to see which park is open when, but to give you an idea of what the schedule could look like, check out the week of May 11th, 2025: May 11th — no extended evening hours May 12th — extended evening hours at EPCOT from 9 PM to 11 PM May 13th — no extended evening hours May 14th — extended evening hours at Magic Kingdom from 10 PM to 12 AM May 15th — no extended evening hours May 16th — no extended evening hours May 17th — no extended evening hours Cinderella Castle at night You might want to plan your park days around which park has extended evening hours, especially if you aren’t purchasing the Park Hopper Add On, which allows you to hop from park to park. Animal Kingdom at night It’s also important to note that not every attraction will be open, but many will be! You can check out our full list of which attractions stay open late here. Tower of Terror Extended Evening Hours are a great way to sneak in a few more rides with significantly lower crowds. It’s not an After-Hours Event, so there’s no additional cost. Not many restaurants, stores, or snack stands are open, so you might want to grab that last treat before the park officially closes to the public. Get a snack before everything closes! We’re so glad this perk is coming back for 202,6 and we’ll definitely be taking advantage of it at our next resort stay. Disney World fans tend to have pretty mixed opinions about the Disney Dining Plan. Our meal at Cinderella’s Royal Table While some love the add-on for its convenience and ease of use, others avoid it because it can be a waste of money if not used to its full potential. Either way, it likely makes Disney a decent amount of money, otherwise they wouldn’t continue to offer it for your vacation. In fact, the Disney Dining Plan is returning in 2026, and it looks like the prices are going UP. It was confirmed recently that the Disney Dining Plan will return in 2026 with the same two options — the Standard Disney Dining Plan and the Quick Service Dining Plan. The two plans come with different types of credits per person, so you’ll choose which one you want based on your dining needs. Backlot Express The Quick Service Dining Plan comes with a refillable resort mug, as well as a snack credit and two quick service dining credits per person, per day. The Standard Disney Dining Plan comes with a refillable resort mug, as well as a snack credit, a quick service dining credit, and a table service dining credit per person per day. If you want to squeeze in a few nicer meals, you’ll need to get that Standard option. Crystal Palace So what will all that cost you in 2026? Here’s the pricing for next year: For adults, the Quick Service Disney Dining Plan will cost $60.47 per person, per night. For adults, the Standard Disney Dining Plan will cost $98.59 per person, per night. For children ages 3-9, the Quick Service Dining Plan will cost $26.16 per person, per night. For children ages 3-9, the Standard Disney Dining Plan will cost $31.94 per person, per night. Steakhouse 71 Breakfast In comparison to prices for 2025, this is a $1.33 increase for adults and a $1.46 increase for children on the Quick Service Dining Plan. On the Standard Disney Dining Plan, it’s a $.89 increase for adults and a $1.16 increase for children. Corn Dog Nuggets! Overall, that’s not too much of a price increase, but it may slightly affect which things you order while using the plan. However, things may even out if we see price increases for snacks and meals in Disney World before 2026 rolls around — we often see those price hikes happen in October. You think you’ve seen everything… and then you realize you missed some of the coolest stuff. Epic Universe Epic Universe is packed with jaw-dropping rides, mind-blowing lands, and all kinds of immersive details that hit you right in the theme park-loving soul. But even with all our research and park know-how, there were still a few things we wish we’d caught before we walked out those exit gates. So, here’s your friendly heads-up — don’t make the same mistakes we did! Walking Away From the Fountain Show Too Soon If you catch the fountain show in Celestial Park, you’ll probably be impressed. The fountains put on a big dramatic finish — and then… pause. Stunning views from Celestial Park At this point, it feels like the show is over. A bunch of people will even start walking away. Don’t be one of them! That pause? It’s just a breather. Give it another minute or two and the show ramps back up with new effects, lighting, and all. It’s like a second act that’s way too easy to miss if you’re not paying attention. Stay for the whole thing. Trust us — it’s one of those hidden gems that ends up being a trip highlight if you let it. Not Looking for the Pikmin in Super Nintendo World Super Nintendo World is already a sensory overload in the best way possible — giant spinning coins, interactive blocks, moving characters, and wild rides everywhere you turn. But in the middle of all that chaos are some of the tiniest, most adorable details that most people totally miss… and we’re talking about the Pikmin. Super Nintendo World with a glimpse at Toadstool Cafe Yes, those tiny plant creatures from Nintendo’s Pikmin series are everywhere if you know where to look. They’re tucked into wall artwork, peeking out from the grass, and even hidden in the queues for rides like Yoshi’s Adventure and Mario Kart. They’re small, they don’t move, and they’re super easy to overlook unless you’re specifically searching for them. So next time you’re in the land, slow down a little, scan your surroundings, and play a real-life version of “Where’s Pikmin?” It’s a fun little scavenger hunt that adds another layer of charm to the land. Skipping Cassandra in the Ministry of Magic We were so hyped to explore the Ministry of Magic section of the Wizarding World, we almost missed one of the coolest interactive elements in the park. Tucked in a window near Le Goblet Noir (yes, we see what they did there) is a witch named Cassandra — and you need to go visit her. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic Cassandra isn’t just a statue or some pre-recorded animatronic. She talks to you in real time. Like the Mystic Fountain over in Islands of Adventure, she’s interactive, reacts to what you say, and comments on how you look or what you’re wearing. She’s part of the wand experiences, but you don’t need to do a spell to have a conversation. The portraits around her window also chime in, making the whole scene feel alive. It’s a moment of theme park magic that’s totally worth going out of your way to find. Honorable Mention: Keep Your Eyes Peeled for Universal Easter Eggs While you’re walking around the park, keep your movie radar on. Epic Universe is loaded with nods to iconic Universal films — some obvious, some very subtle. Our favorite so far has to be the flux capacitor on the back of the Stardust Racers trains. Back to the Future fans, you’re gonna want a close look. Stardust Racers At the end of the day, Epic Universe isn’t just about the big flashy rides and lands — it’s about the small, smart details that Universal’s hidden all over the place. So if you’re planning your visit, make some room in your schedule for the quieter, blink-and-you-miss-it moments. You might just leave with a few favorite memories that aren’t even on the map. We’ll be covering even MORE Epic Universe stuff, so stay tuned to DFB for more. Read more: DFB's complete guide to Universal’s Epic Universe >> What are you most excited for in Epic Universe? Changes are coming to Galaxy’s Edge! Galaxy’s Edge The Star Wars-inspired land in Disneyland and Walt Disney World is gearing up for lots of fun thanks to the May the 4th celebrations! These annual festivities bring new snacks, fun merch, and more to the parks! Now, a special experience in both parks is changing for a limited time, and we are so excited! In Hollywood Studios and Disneyland Park, you can find Savi’s Workshop. At Savi’s, you can get instruction from Gathers, where they teach you how to hand-build your own Lightsaber! Savi’s Workshop — Handbuilt Lightsabers Inside the workshop, lightsaber pieces, kyber crystals, and tales of the Force and the Jedi told by the Gatherers will provide the tools you need. This popular experience requires reservations and costs a pretty penny in both parks. In Hollywood Studios, it costs you $249.99 (plus tax) for a lightsaber with a carrying case. In Disneyland, you can expect to pay $219.99 (plus tax) for a lightsaber with a carrying case. A Gatherer showing a Kyber Crystal During this experience, you typically get the option of: 1 hilt 4 sleeves, from which you will pick and keep 2 2 emitters, from which you will pick and keep 1 2 pommel caps, from which you will pick and keep 1 2 sets of activation plates and switches, from which you will pick and keep 1 The Gatherer leading the Builders There’s quite a bit of customization involved, but one of the biggest parts is choosing the theme of the hilt. There are 4 different hilts to choose from, until now! Savi’s lightsaber hilt themes Disney has just announced that for May the 4th in both parks, guests heading to the shop can now select a brand-new hilt theme — Reclaimed and Reforged! ©Disney This new Lightsaber hilt theme is available on May the 4th and will only be around while supplies last. You can see all of the pieces for the new theme below. ©Disney Guests can still choose from the other four themes in addition to Reclaimed and Reforged. The themes are, Peace and Justice Power and Control Elemental Nature Protection and Defense Power and Control pieces These new hilts will be great for any Star Wars fans or even big collectors! The parks will also offer special snacks, fun merchandise, and more for this annual celebration. We’ve even spotted Luke Skywalker himself over in Disneyland. One group of Disney World hotels has a DICEY reputation. Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort Yep, we’re talking about the All-Star Resorts! This trio of resorts have sports, music, and movie themes, and they’re the cheapest hotels available in Disney World. That price point means that they’re definitely not the fanciest places to stay on property, and therefore, they have quite a few haters. But we’re here to tell you why All-Star Movies Resort isn’t really all that bad. If you check out the All-Star Movies Resort reviews over on the AllEars.net website (wave “hi” to our friends at AllEars!), you’ll find quite a few people who had disappointing experiences at the hotel. One person gave the hotel a 3 out of 10, saying: “This hotel is weird. The dining options are really bad, with only a pool bar and a food court. Also, the rooms have only a curtain separating the main part of the room and the bathroom. I get that it’s a value/cheap resort, but Disney should at least put some effort into the rooms! When my family of 4 stayed in these rooms, we heard all the noise from the bathroom. Most rooms are also noisy from the outside. You can also only rely on buses, which sucks. I don’t recommend this hotel. If you need to stay at the All-Stars, go to All-Star Music.” Food Court This is a pretty common opinion for any of the All-Star Resorts, with people finding them “cheap” in theme and boring compared to other Disney World hotels. But honestly? There were some things about All-Star Movies that actually impressed me! They’re Affordable First of all, this resort is AFFORDABLE. The three All-Star hotels are the cheapest hotels on property, and their prices range from $133-$305 per night for a standard room, and from $169-$352 per night for a Preferred Room in 2025. Dalmatians section By staying here instead of at a Moderate or Deluxe Resort, you could save enough money over the course of your vacation to splurge a bit in the parks. We’ve known some people to choose the All-Stars so that they could get the Disney Dining Plan or pay extra for the Lightning Lane Premier Pass. Also, if you’re the type of person who spends ALL day in the parks, you may not need to spend money on a luxury hotel. The Worst Problem With Staying at Disney World’s Cheapest Hotels — Click Here! The Rooms Are Updated The next thing that was impressive to me is that the hotel rooms here are recently updated. All of the All-Stars got room refurbishments in the past few years, and it makes a HUGE difference in the quality of your hotel stay here. Fresh flooring, new beds, updated theming, and new bathroom fixtures all keep this hotel from looking as dingy as it was before. Standard Room at All-Star Movies The new rooms have a generic Mickey and friends theme, which your kids will probably enjoy, and they come with more storage, more outlets for your electronics, and just a generally more modern vibe. If you stayed at All-Star Movies several years ago, you’ll likely be impressed by this change the next time you visit. Click Here to Check Out a Full Room Tour! The Outside Theming Is Fun Even though all the rooms are the same inside, All-Star Movies is home to some super cool theming on the exterior of the hotel buildings. Each section of the resort has a theme with a different Disney movie — Toy Story, Herbie: The Love Bug, The Mighty Ducks, Fantasia, and 101 Dalmatians. The Herbie section! Walking around the resort and exploring the various sections is a lot of fun, and Disney has put some impressive detail into the buildings and props. Personally, I like this theme the best of the three All-Star Resorts, and your kids likely will as well! We’ve Stayed at Every Disney World Hotel. These Are the Best. You Get Three Resorts in One And one thing that the All-Star Resorts have that no other resorts on Disney World property have? Three hotels in one! The All-Star Resorts are all on one giant property, so it’s easy to walk between them for dining, shopping, or exploring. And they’re the only three hotels that you can pool hop between! Duck Pond Pool That’s right, if you’re staying at All-Star Movies, you can use the pools at your resort, as well as the pools at All-Star Sports and All-Star Music (but ONLY those three). Guests of other hotels around Disney World are limited to their own resort’s pools. Fantasia Pool In conclusion, All-Star Movies is certainly not Disney World’s most glamorous resort, but it definitely has its perks. It serves a specific audience, and it can be a great way to do Disney World on a budget! For the best Disney World hotels for first-timers, check out the video below. We all remember the iconic moments: When Bambi takes his first wobbly steps into a lush forest full of friends with discoveries waiting to be made. When Mufasa shows Simba everything that the light touches — a breathtaking view of the African savanna thriving with life and hope. When little Moana is awestruck by the ocean revealing its wonders — its glittering water, graceful sea turtles, curious fish. What do they all have in common? The power of storytelling and the magic of nature. This year, the Disney Conservation Fund (DCF) celebrates 30 years of working to protect this magic that inspires our stories and enriches our lives. To kick off our anniversary year, we’re awarding more than $500,000 in grants to nonprofit organizations working to provide inspirational experiences for youth to get outside and take action for wildlife and wild places in their communities. Disneynature’s SEA LIONS OF THE GALAPAGOS – Photo by Joe Tuck In celebration of National Geographic’s Secrets of the Penguins, the Disney Conservation Fund and National Geographic Society are teaming up to support the ambitious expansion of Nat Geo Explorer, Popi Borboroglu’s work with Global Penguin Society. These efforts help engage people in penguin conservation efforts across Argentina, Chile, and New Zealand. In celebration of Disneynature’s Sea Lions of the Galapagos, DCF is supporting Conservation International to provide hands on experiences to connect youth with the beauty of the Galápagos. In recognition of Disney employees who took action for the planet this Earth Month, DCF awarded a grant to the Jane Goodall Institute to inspire even more young leaders to take action for their communities and the natural world. DCF sponsored the first REEL WILD NEW YORK Film Festival, founded by Wildlife Conservation Society to connect people to nature through impactful storytelling and a new Emerging Filmmaker Award that will support the next generation of conservation advocates. Support for the Association of Zoos and Aquariums’ Party for the Planet will empower AZA-accredited zoos and aquariums to leverage the reach and resources of the AZA network to provide family-friendly volunteer and conservation action opportunities that benefit our planet from Earth Day (April 22) to World Ocean Day (June 8). Students from Wildlife Warriors share their Roots & Shoots project with Dr. Jane Goodall in Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaDr. Jane Goodall, United Nations Messenger of Peace, meets with kids after a UN International Day of Peace event. The fund also launched a new grant opportunity to support eligible nonprofit organizations in their efforts to protect, restore, and re-wild wildlife corridors and migratory pathways around the world and we’re excited to announce the grant recipients this summer. These latest grants build on a strong legacy: since 1995, the fund has directed $132 million to help 600 nonprofit organizations protect more than 1,000 species of wildlife across half the countries in the world and all five oceans. Our grants have provided millions of awe-inspiring nature experiences to kids and families across the globe. And, beyond our grants, our dedicated teams have committed their talent and expertise to best-in-class scientific research and efforts to empower Cast and communities to take action to help protect wildlife and their habitats. This has benefited butterflies and other pollinators, coral reefs, sea turtles, and purple martin songbirds, to name just a few. These are just some of the ways we are bringing our Disney Planet Possible commitment to life — taking action for a brighter, more sustainable future. As we reflect on 30 years, we are filled with gratitude for all of those who have been a part of our story. Walt Disney started this legacy of environmental stewardship that has been carried forward by so many – our dedicated Cast Members and employees, our supportive Disney guests and audiences, and our valued global conservation community. And in part because of your dedication, we are seeing the positive benefits: multiple populations of species starting to recover, large expanses of land and ocean protected, communities driving lasting local change for a more sustainable future, and kids around the world inspired by the magic of nature. Photo Credit – Laly Lichtenfeld, African People & WildlifePhoto Credit – University of FloridaPhoto Credit – Emmily Tunuka, African People & Wildlife To all of you – thank you for your role in this story and for your commitment to a world where wildlife thrives and nature is treasured and protected. Do you want to go to Disney World in 2026? I know I do! Magic Kingdom Disney has just released its ticket prices for Walt Disney World for January through October 2026, and the big question on everyone’s mind is — will it be more expensive to go to Disney World next year?? First off, if you’re planning a Disney World vacation and you want to get the best deal possible (and who does NOT want to get the best deal possible — SHOW YOURSELVES!), I want to remind you that using a travel agent who specializes in Disney vacations will not cost you a penny. And while it won’t cost you anything extra, I can promise you it will SAVE you money (because they know about all the discounts available — including ones that drop after you have booked your vacation), time (because they will do the heavy lifting like quoting different dates or hotel rooms, and making reservations for you), and stress (because they will suggest hotels, restaurants and itineraries that will fit best for your individual situation). You can now book a Disney World vacation package that includes tickets and a hotel stay through October 31st, 2026. You can get your reservations made and start planning with a $200 minimum deposit — with the rest due closer to your vacation. Spaceship Earth at Night during the EPCOT Festival of the Arts Let’s look at Disney World ticket prices for 2026! Disney World uses dynamic pricing — which is a quick way of saying that Disney World ticket prices vary by day and by what park you’re going to. The most expensive days are the ones Disney expects to be most in demand (and most crowded), and the least expensive days, well, they’re the opposite — you can probably expect less crowded parks on those days. For the first 10 months of 2026, the cheapest days at the cheapest park (yes, it’s always Animal Kingdom) are $119. And the most expensive days at the most expensive park (yes, it’s always Magic Kingdom) are $199. But MOST of the days are gonna fall somewhere in the middle and run you in the $145-$175 range. Keep in mind that this is for a single-day ticket with no park hopping, meaning you can only visit your chosen park on that ticket. Disney’s Hollywood Studios Keep in mind that if you’re planning a trip to Disney World, you’re probably going to be going to the parks multiple days — and buying a multi-day ticket comes with discounts. You won’t pay that single-day price for every day of your trip. For example, if you want to go to Magic Kingdom on Monday, Aug. 3, 2026, a 1-day, 1-park ticket will cost you $169. But if you want to buy a 4-day ticket that starts that day, it will cost you $558.56, which works out to $139.64 per day. What if you want to get 7 days worth of tickets? That will cost you $652.51, or $93.22 per day. Tree of Life Awakenings in Animal Kingdom Now, there are other options to add on to your tickets — the biggest being the “park hopper” option. Park hopping means you go to two or more Disney World parks in the same day — and that is going to cost you a chunk of change on top of your 1-day, 1-park ticket. Going back to our “typical” day of Monday, Aug. 3rd, 2026, a Magic Kingdom ticket costs $169, but if you want to visit multiple parks and add the park hopper option, that price jumps up to $228, an increase of $59. Welcome to Disney World! So when are the cheapest times to go to Disney World in 2026? Those days are going to be later into August 2026, when school has started in many U.S. districts. August 18th, 2026, August 20th-21st, 2026, and August 24th-28th, 2026, those 1-day, 1-park tickets for Animal Kingdom are $119, and Magic Kingdom tickets are $139. Your most expensive days are going to fall around Easter, which is on April 5th, 2026. From March 25th-April 6th, 2026, Animal Kingdom 1-day tickets will cost $179, and Magic Kingdom will be $199. Mickey and Minnie Whew! That’s a lot of number crunching. Have fun planning your 2026 Disney World vacation, and keep following us here at DFB! Southwest Airlines has had a lot of changes lately, from updating its free bag policies to planning to remove open seating, but we finally have some positive news for the airline. Southwest If you fly with Southwest, you’ll want to read this new update. Southwest Airlines will retrofit its aircraft to accommodate extra-legroom seats! This change will affect every plane between April 30th and the end of the year as they prepare for assigned seating, which is scheduled to start in early 2026. ©Southwest Airlines They have maintenance bases in Denver, Phoenix, Houston, and Atlanta, where they will change the seating for the aircraft planned to enter service on May 1st. ©Southwest Airlines What’s neat about this change is that they just need to change the current planes. They don’t have to redesign the cabins or buy new aircraft; they can simply rearrange the rows to how they want. This is the start of a phased approach to change their entire fleet. They’re starting with the -800 and MAX 8 aircraft before moving on to the 737-700 aircraft. ©Southwest Airlines Late this summer, the extra-legroom seats will have a visual indicator on them, so keep your eyes peeled if you’re flying with Southwest. Right now, they’re planning on having three tiers of seating: an Extra Legroom seat, a Preferred seat, which will be located near the front of the cabin or in exit rows, and a Standard seat for the seats in the back of the cabin. ©Southwest Airlines We’ve been staying up to date on all the news for Southwest, so keep following Disney Food Blog to know everything that could affect your travel plans. How To Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk at Epic Universe has literally blown us away with its incredible theming, its characters, rides, and shows. We adopted a baby dragon! But even with as much as we’ve already covered, we still had one more experience that’s exclusive to this neck of Universal’s Epic Universe. If you’ve fallen in love with the baby dragons roaming around Epic Universe, there’s only one place to head when you’re ready to take one home with you! Throughout all of the Isle of Berk you’ll find several shops to explore but none quite like Toothless’ Treasures. This merchandise store can be found between the meet and greet for Hiccup and Toothless and the Untrainable Dragon show. Toothless and Hiccup! Inside you’ll walk in to a whole trove of treasures Toothless, Hiccup, and the Vikings of Berk have collected for you to claim but there’s one particular section of this store set up for you to take home your very own dragon, too! ©bioreconstruct Congratulations, you’re ready to adopt a dragon! Here’s what we learned from our experience. If you’re worried about getting the exact dragon you’re hoping for, fear not, as the color of the egg will coordinate to the hatching dragon within so you’re saved by selecting the corresponding color of the dragon egg you’re looking to hatch (the Team Members assisting with the adoption are also happy to help you out with this selection, too). During our experience, we found that a popular choice has been a tiny Toothless, which will correspond to a light green egg; however, we chose a Lightfury in a blue egg for this adoption. Dragon eggs for adoption For the adoption ceremony, you’ll be asked to raise a hand and recite, “I promise to take care of this dragon like a true Viking.” After you’ve completed the oath, the Viking Team Member will tip your dragon’s egg upside down (because, fun fact– ALL dragons are born upside down), and you’ll give it a warm welcome with a roaring Viking cheer! There may also be a triumphant drum beating as well for dramatic effect. Afterwards, your new baby dragon will emerge from its hatched egg (assisted by the Team Member) and handed over to you for its first cuddles. While you’re enjoying your new baby, the Team Member is busy at work preparing your hatched egg pieces into a carrying case for your dragon to sit in and take in all of Berk as you venture around. They’re also happy to announce your new dragon’s name to everyone around after you name it! Meet Luna! This was such a cute and interactive way to “buy” a new souvenir at Epic Universe. Each dragon egg to hatch will cost you $21 before tax and is compatible with eligible Annual Passholder discounts. The Team Members (er, Vikings) in the shop also went out of their way to really get into the adoption process, which helped make adopting a baby dragon less awkward for a solo adult, so we know kids are going to absolutely love this as a whole experience. Back of the egg With 5 total dragons to collect, this proves to be a great repeatable experience and makes it an ideal option for someone with multiple kids looking to adopt one for each (that won’t be fought over as soon as you hit the hotel room or car). We’ll be uncovering lots of tips, tricks, and hidden secrets around Universal’s Epic Universe even before it officially opens, so be sure to stay tuned with us at DFB for all the latest! Summer is coming up fast, and we found the perfect Disney souvenir for the upcoming season in Disneyland and Disney World! Sleeping Beauty Castle We love all sorts of Disney souvenirs, but some that sell particularly well are Starbucks x Disney collaborations. Disney fans love to have their Disney Starbucks tumblers! You’ll usually find them at the parks, or sometimes online. If you’re a big fan of the Disney x Starbucks tumblers, we came across an extra special summer one at China Closet in Disneyland! Main Street Take a look at this beachy Starbucks Tumbler! It looks like the perfect souvenir to carry around during your Disney day, or bring to the beach (hey if you’re at either Disneyland or Disney World, you’ll have a beach somewhat close by). You can see the Tumbler features Mickey and Minnie ready to have a summer bash! Mickey is riding a surfboard and Minnie is enjoying an ice cream treat. Look at this Tumbler! We love some of the Hawaiian type decorations around the tumbler. The palm trees, the flowers, they really bring it together! The tumbler also has some beach balls printed on it — and speaking of beach balls, we love the Mickey beach ball on the straw. The gradient color design gives the tumbler a cool ocean sunrise look! Starbucks you’ve done it again! The Tumbler is available for $44.99, your usual price for a Starbucks Tumbler. We went to see if these were available online at the Disney Store, but unfortunately, they are not out online just yet. However, we did find a tumbler at Big Top Souvenirs, over in Magic Kingdom. So as of right now, you will need to go to the park to get these exclusive Disney summer Starbucks tumblers! Summer Starbucks Tumbler at Magic Kingdom! It’s never too early to start planning your next Disney World vacation, even if it’s not until next year! Riviera Resort 2026 could be the best year to visit Disney World yet, with new shows debuting soon and a new nighttime parade in full swing by then. If you’ve found yourself struggling to make a decision on where you should call “home” during your trip, we’re giving you nine reasons why a Disney World hotel could make sense for you. So you’ve decided you’re going to visit Disney World (maybe again) in 2026, lucky you! We’re right beside you, cheering loudly as you excitedly count down the days until your trip is here. Magic Kingdom But, before you arrive, there are a few things you’ll want to keep in mind for 2026, and they’ve become big time, money, and exhaustion savers that Disney’s actually built into the trip for you! Let’s break down the perks you’ll enjoy of staying at a Disney World hotel in 2026. Free Dining Plan (for kids) Disney World’s ever-popular free dining plan has just been confirmed to return for 2026! A meal at Tiffins This popular perk will apply to kids ages 3 to 9 when purchasing a dining plan as part of their package or hotel stay for the other members of their party (ages 10 and up). Cheeseburger Pod Kid’s Meal from Satu’li Canteen The best part about this offer is that it CAN be combined with other special offers your hotel stay or package may be eligible for through Disney World. So don’t be afraid to take advantage of other deals Disney World may roll out later for 2026. Early Theme Park Entry Continuing through 2026, Disney World hotel guests will enjoy more time in the parks with 30 minutes of Early Theme Park Entry every day, at Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT. Early Entry This means that just by staying at a Disney World hotel during your vacation, you’ll already have a head start in the parks to knock out some of your favorite rides and attractions. Extended Evening Hours Additionally, Disney World hotel guests staying at a deluxe or deluxe villa hotel will also continue to have access to Extended Evening Hours at select theme parks on certain days. Tree of Life This perk was one that hotel guests seemed to use to their advantage when day visitors had cleared out for the evening to ride popular rides with typically higher wait times over again, and with minimal wait times! Complimentary Transportation & Parking Complimentary theme park transportation via monorail, boat, bus, and Disney Skyliner is all included when you choose to stay at any of the Disney World hotels. Skyliner Disney World hotel guests who prefer to drive themselves around Disney World will also enjoy free standard parking at hotels, theme parks, and water parks . Early Access To Key Disney World Add-Ons Early access to Advance Dining Reservations is also another returning perk. While everyone (including day visitors) can make advance dining reservations at 60 days out from the day of dining, Disney World hotel guests are able to make reservations beginning 60 days out from the day of check-in and up to 10 days out through their hotel stay. Hollywood Brown Derby spread Purchases for Disney World’s Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass to help you skip the standby line for your entire stay will continue to be available to Disney World hotel guests as early as 7 days in advance of your first day’s visit. Day visitors not staying at a Disney World hotel will be able to make purchases as early as 3 days in advance of their visit. Lightning Lane As special events happen seasonally around Disney World, another returning perk will return for 2026. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Those looking to get a jump start on securing tickets for these events, like Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, will be eligible for advance purchase at the beginning of sales for these events, which tend to sell out quickly! Free Water Park Ticket Anyone staying at a Disney World hotel will also continue one of the newest perks to hit the scene. On check-in day, each person on the hotel reservation will be treated to a free water park ticket (subject to availability). Blizzard Beach Since you’ll likely see this ticket electronically linked to you, you’ll want to make sure your hotel reservation is linked in your My Disney Experience app in advance! We think this is a huge perk for those looking for something to do on check-in day that is easy to pop into at practically any part of the day and isn’t too stressful of an activity right off the bat for vacation. Bookings for Disney World vacations in 2026 start April 22nd, 2025, for travel dates through October 2026. Disney has noted that if your 2026 Disney World trip falls sometime in November and December, bookings for those two months will become available at a later date. However, if you find that you still can’t quite hold off that long for a visit, Disney World is currently running several special offers available now for 2025 that include discounted hotel stays, theme park tickets, and, of course, hotel and ticket package offers.
