Welcome to the Most Magical Place on Earth! If you play your cards right, it can truly feel as magical as you want it to. Cinderella Castle Before you pack your bag full of Mickey ears, take this advice before you even head to sunny Orlando, Florida. You’ve planned your tickets, booked your flights, selected your first ten attractions, and know where you’ll be eating breakfast, but if you don’t take this massive Disney World problem into consideration, all of your planning won’t matter. Don’t worry, though, you’re here at Disney Food Blog reading this post, so you’ll be prepared for the best vacation ever. This is not what you want to hear during your vacation, but the trick to an incredible Disney World trip is (drumroll please!)…taking breaks! Take a break like Roy! There are many reasons why you’ll want to take breaks, but if you’re constantly going, you’ll likely encounter issues. The primary reason you will want to take a break is due to the weather. Storm season! Florida is hot, and if you’ve never visited during the summer, you might not be able to handle the heat. That’s okay! Even as locals, you’ll constantly find us taking breaks around the parks because it’s really the only way to function during those hot months. We love to find a place indoors to relax in the air conditioning while we wait for the hottest time of day to pass. We like to have a break in CommuniCore Hall! During those breaks, you may also want to focus on battling the weather. Apply your sunscreen regularly because getting burnt on the first day of your vacation is a great way to make some not-so-Facebook-worthy photos. Make sure you’re drinking water as well. Many quick-service restaurants offer free cups of ice water, which we’ll use to cool down and refill our water bottles. YAY free water! Want a productive way to take a break? Consider checking out a table service restaurant. These usually require reservations or checking for availability at the host stand, but it’s an easy way to spend an hour in the air conditioning with a great meal. Sitting in a comfy booth, savoring an ice-cold Coca-Cola Classic, and enjoying a filling lunch is our perfect afternoon at Disney World. Tony’s Town Square Restaurant Another reason you might want to take a break is that Disney World is exhausting. While the little ones might struggle keeping up with the go, go, go schedule, the adults get just as tired of trying to figure out the next Lightning Lane, waiting in queues, and holding everyone’s souvenirs. The whole family will appreciate a long meal or even a stop back at the resort to catch a quick nap. Look at the crowds! We know what you’re thinking, “But Disney World is expensive and we need to take advantage of every minute to get everything we want done and to make it worth the cost!” That doesn’t mean you should skip out on breaks. EPCOT It’s almost impossible to successfully go through a week-long vacation, going to the parks from 9 AM to 9 PM (not including transportation time in the morning and evening), running from attraction to attraction, and eating on the go so you can get to your next favorite ride. Even if you can do that, you might find yourself getting moody, and Disney World might be feeling a little less magical. You might have some early mornings at Disney Taking a break can help you last a whole day in the parks, especially for the smallest members of the family. Likely, you won’t make it to Happily Ever After if you’ve been running around since 7 AM without a few meltdowns (from kids and adults). And again, even if you are, can you really do that the whole week? Happily Ever After in Magic Kingdom Don’t underestimate the power of a 30 to 60-minute break during your park day. We know it’s tempting to keep going, but a break can make your trip so much better. $730 a night — and we didn’t even go to the parks. Coronado Springs We stayed in one of the most low-key bougie hotel rooms at Disney World: the Tower – Deluxe Suite – Club Access at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. That’s right, Coronado Springs. Not the Grand Floridian. Not the Polynesian. And still? This suite is giving luxury. We’re talking two bathrooms, a private lounge with all-you-can-eat food and drinks, and access to rooftop dining — all without leaving the building. Let’s talk about what it’s like to stay in a room Disney experts low-key try to gatekeep — and whether that price tag is actually worth it. Let’s Talk About This Tower First off, this suite is inside the Gran Destino Tower — the newest and most stunning part of Coronado Springs. The tower is sleek, modern, and feels way more “deluxe” than “moderate,” which is technically what this resort is classified as. The theming leans Spanish-modern with artsy details and gorgeous lighting. Walking into the lobby feels like you’re stepping into a luxury hotel in Barcelona. Inside Gran Destino Tower And here’s the kicker: You’re just an elevator ride away from rooftop restaurants like Toledo — Tapas, Steak & Seafood and the Dalia Lounge. You also have super-easy access to Three Bridges Bar & Grill (a fan favorite), Rex Sports Bar & Grill, and Maya Grill. We’re not saying you’ll become a tapas person overnight, but also… you kind of might. The Room Itself: Double Bathrooms and Chill Our room — the Club Access Deluxe Suite — was genuinely bigger than some apartments we’ve lived in. Living area The layout is smart and spacious, with a bedroom, a living room area, and yes, TWO bathrooms (one half and one full). Half-bath That’s not just a luxury — that’s survival when you’re traveling with another person whose bladder operates on the exact same schedule as yours. Coronado Springs Resort Room The decor is clean and modern, but still warm. You’re not getting over-the-top theming like you might in other Disney hotels, but honestly? We were more than fine with that. Everything just feels nice — and that’s not something we say lightly. The Club Level Perks: Chronos Club Is Where It’s At This is what really sets this room apart. If you’ve never done a Club Level room at Disney World, here’s the deal: it gets you into a private lounge with complimentary food and drinks pretty much all day. At the Gran Destino Tower, that lounge is called the Chronos Club — and it might be the best value you’re not thinking about. Chronos Club Lounge From 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM, they’ve got food rotating throughout the day. We’re talking breakfast, snacks, light bites, desserts, beer, wine, soft drinks, and coffee. Assorted meats and cheese, olives It’s not just granola bars and sad mini muffins. We ate breakfast and light dinner here multiple times and genuinely felt full and satisfied. That alone saved us serious money — not to mention the time we didn’t spend trying to mobile order a mediocre burger in the parks. Full Breakfast Spread There’s also a concierge team in the lounge who can help with ticket questions, dining reservations, and making your entire trip feel smoother. They’re real humans (not just a phone line!) and they know their stuff. Can You Just… Skip the Parks? Honestly, you could. With all the food, the lounges, the rooftop views, and the general vibe of the tower — it’s one of the few places in Disney World where you could check in and not leave the building for your entire stay. Seated area and display We’re not saying skip the parks every time. But if you’re doing a chill trip, or you’re trying to plan a rest day between park days, this is the kind of room that makes staying in feel like an experience, not just downtime. So… Is It Worth $730? Let’s be real — that’s a lot of money for one night at Disney World. But here’s how we break it down. When you stay in a regular room and eat all your meals in the parks or quick service spots, you’re probably spending more than you think. A couple of solid meals, drinks, snacks, and coffee runs can easily hit $150–$200 per day per person. Add in the time saved from not needing to fight crowds for breakfast or mobile order lunch? That starts to feel like value. Full Breakfast Spread Now layer on the upgraded room, the two bathrooms, the private lounge, the access to some of the best food on property, and the overall feeling of luxury — and yeah, for the right kind of trip, it can absolutely be worth it. Coronado Springs club-level room We’re not saying this is how you should always do Disney. But if you’ve got a special occasion, or you just want to splurge on something that feels next-level, this suite delivers. Great use of space Experts might try to gatekeep this place because it’s still flying under the radar — and we kind of get why. Once people realize you can get this much value without staying at a monorail resort, it’s going to be a lot harder to book. If you’re headed on a cruise soon, you need to read this! ©Norwegian Cruise Lines Norwegian Cruise Lines has had to cancel over four months’ worth of cruises in 2026 for two ships. This change is due to a “fleet redeployment,” according to the cruise line. If you were headed on a Norwegian Cruise in 2026, you might need to go check your email. The cruise ships, Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Breakaway, are going to swap schedules next year, which will impact more than 4 months’ worth of cruise itineraries. ©Norwegian Cruise Lines According to USA Today, this fleet redeployment will lead to the Prima sailing the Breakaway’s planned Southern Caribbean schedule from Puerto Rico. The Breakaway will take on the Prima’s previously planned Western Caribbean schedule to depart from New Orleans. ©Norwegian Cruise Line The dates of the impacted cruises can be seen here. Norwegian Prima: Cruises between November 15th, 2026, through March 28th, 2027 Norwegian Breakaway: Cruises between November 8th, 2026, through March 28, 2027 ©Norwegian Cruise Line If you want to rebook your cruise on the switched ships, you can book the original itineraries beginning on August 8th, 2025. The cruise line alerted those impacted in letters saying, “We want to assure you that we’re here to make this process as smooth as possible.” The Norwegian Gem Anyone who had a cruise booked for the canceled itineraries received a full refund and 10% future cruise credits with Norwegian. Oh, the Disney World Skyliner. This might be the most magical transportation at Disney since you get to fly over the parks, all while getting to your next location. Skyliner at Caribbean Beach Resort If you haven’t been on the Skyliner, there are a few things you might want to know before you board your gondola and start on your magical journey. It Closes Down for Bad Weather Skyliner We know, we know. The last thing we want to do is admit that the Sunshine State can turn into the Storming State, but when that bad weather hits and you want to head back to your resort, don’t head towards the Skyliner. It might be running right now, but if there is lightning, too much wind, or any other weather condition that can affect the safety of guests, the Skyliner will be shut down. Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort Skyliner Don’t worry — if you’re on it while the weather hits, you won’t be stuck. Cast Members will escort you to the next station, and you may need to use alternative transportation to reach your destination. If you’re in line to board, you’ll need to exit and find an alternative way home. You Might Be Sitting Close to Another Group Inside the Disney Skyliner The Skyliner gondolas are pretty large, significantly larger than they appear on the outside. You could probably fit eight to ten people inside, and when it’s busy, you’ll be among those eight to ten people. Even if you’re a party of four, you might be sitting with another group of four on your ride. If you’re boarding, don’t be surprised if another group follows behind you. We love it when we get an empty Skyliner! We’ve found that this happens mainly in the morning, when the parks are opening and closing, and when everyone is trying to get home. In the middle of the day, you might be lucky enough to get your own space (p.s. this is a perfect time to take cute pictures!). There’s No Air Conditioning Open those air vents! Yikes! During those hotter months, you might be asking yourself, “Why did I choose a Skyliner resort?!” These boxes can get toasty, and if you’re already hot from waiting in line, this might not be the relaxing ride you thought it was going to be. There are air vents up top that you can open, and while they help for a bit of air flow, they might not cool you off. We’re not saying every other form of Disney transportation has air conditioning, but you might want to opt for the cool, empty bus over the steamy, hot box in the sky. They Do Shake, But That’s Normal Skyliner If you’re not a fan of heights, this might not be the best transportation option for you. While they are structurally sound, they tend to sway when the wind picks up. They also go pretty high up, more than they may look like in pictures. If you’re questioning whether you can manage this, you might want to choose an alternative option to avoid stressing yourself out on vacation. Skyliner Turn Station In general, they move pretty slowly when you’re moving across, but to get up to that height, they have to speed up. Even though we’ve been on them 100 times, it can still throw us off to feel the speed of the gondola moving forward. When you’re at your stop, it will feel like it’s going to hit the car in front, too! We haven’t seen that happen, but it can certainly feel a bit out of control. Know you and your family’s limits before boarding. There Are Stationary Gondolas For Those Who Need More Time Skyliner Loading Area If you’re using a mobility device, Cast Members usually direct you towards a special line, but it’s not just for those who use wheelchairs! When you board a traditional gondola, it slows down but does not come to a complete stop. While most people won’t have a hard time hopping in, it might be better for some to use the stationary stop. These gondolas are pulling off the line, so you can truly take all the time you need without worrying about slowing down the line. We love stress-free boarding! Come on in! All in all, we love to take the Skyliner to head to our favorite spots at Disney World, and if you haven’t had a chance to ride it, give it a shot! We find that they’re usually one of the fastest and most reliable transportation methods! There are so many places to eat when you’re visiting Disney World. Here at DFB, we love to go all around Disney World property to try as many different eats, treats, and drinks as our stomachs can take. Disney’s Wilderness Lodge We recently stopped by the Roaring Fork at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, one of Disney’s most beloved resorts. We had quite a few things to try here, and we have thoughts. Is this a place you need to stop by? Let’s find out! Atmosphere Roaring Fork is a quick service restaurant at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Roaring Fork You can order food at the counter, but grab and go items are available, as well. Order food or get grab and go items The color scheme is the same as Wilderness Lodge with warm wood tones and natural light. The theme here is outdoors. Inside, you’ll find plenty of seating with tables and chairs. Plenty of seating But enough about the restaurant — what’s on the menu here?! Menu Roaring Fork has a menu for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even late night dining. You’ll be able to come here at any point in the day and get something for yourself. For lunch and dinner, this is a spot to go if you like barbecue. We’re talking burnt ends, brisket, pulled pork, burgers, you name it! It’s a popular spot to get barbecue without having to wait too long since this is a quick service location. Menu And now, onto the main event — the food! Eats First up, we grabbed the 10-Hour Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich for $11.99. This is made with Pulled Pork tossed in Apple-Barbecue Sauce and topped with Creamy Slaw on a Sweet Brioche Bun served with French Fries. It tastes like…well…like a pulled pork sandwich. It’s not different from what you can get pretty much anywhere on property, but it is good. 10-Hour Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich The pork is soft and tender. The sauce is sweet, which we liked. The bun was nice and soft. It’s a solid pulled pork sandwich. You also get a choice of side: fries, housemade chips, or coleslaw. We went with fries because we like those Disney fries. Tender pork We also couldn’t pass up on the Grilled Cheese for $9.29. It’s has a Four Cheese Blend, Bacon, and Crispy Onion Straws on Fresh Sourdough Bread. This is a good grilled cheese, y’all. The four blends of cheese just really went well together, and the sandwich was just so melty and cheesy. The bread was toasted, which offered some crunch, but we think it might have been almost too crunchy. Grilled Cheese The only complaint we have is that we felt it needed more bacon…because we really couldn’t taste the bacon and that would have leveled up this grilled cheese a bit. The crispy onions didn’t add a lot of flavor but did offer up some crunch. So, yeah, MORE BACON, please? We want more bacon For dessert, the Campfire Cupcake for $6.49 looked to delicious not to get! It was a Chocolate Cupcake with Chocolate rocks, Buttercream and Marshmallow. We’ve been fans of this cupcake for a while. First, it just looks really cool with all the details for the flames and the rocks…LOVE IT. It also has a lot of wonderful chocolate flavor, so chocolate lovers, this one is for you. Campfire Cupcake But we think this will be a hit with just about anyone who wants to satisfy their sweet tooth. It doesn’t feel like it’s TOO much of anything, and yes, it was sweet, but not to the point that we wanted to put it down. Is it shareable? Sure. Will you want to share? Well, maybe not. Delicious This is a drink we get again and again anytime we find ourselves at Wilderness Lodge. Drinks To drink, we picked up the Gold Rush Latte for $5.59. It’s a vanilla latte with caramel. You can choose between getting it iced or hot. We went with iced…because it’s summer and it’s hot out. First, you’ll want to stir it up really well to get all the vanilla caramel flavor from the bottom into the rest of the drink. Then drink it and enjoy that sweet vanilla caramel flavor. Gold Rush Latte It does come with whipped cream on top, but it melted pretty fast. However, as an iced drink, it’s refreshing and sweet. Nosh or Not This Disney World restaurant is a must-visit if… You want a quick meal. If you’re looking for a quick meal, you can get fed pretty fast here at Roaring Fork. This location also has Mobile Order to make it even more quick and convenient. You want barbecue. The menu here is heavily barbecue-focused, so if that’s something that sounds good to you, you’ll find it here. You’re staying at Wilderness Lodge. If you’re staying at the hotel, you can just grab food here and either eat it there or take it up to your room to enjoy it in privacy. Or you can just find a nice place to sit outside and enjoy a meal in the beautiful atmosphere of Wilderness Lodge. You should skip this Disney World spot if… You want a table service dining experience. If you’re looking for a dining experience that is a little slower and where you’re waited on, this isn’t it. You don’t like or want barbecue. Although there are other things on the menu at Roaring Fork other than barbecue, most of its focus is on that. You’re not staying at Wilderness Lodge. If you’re staying somewhere else and have no reason to visit Wilderness Lodge, you’re probably not going to want to travel all the way to this hotel just to have a quick service meal. Overall Roaring Fork is a great option for a quick meal if you’re staying at or visiting Wilderness Lodge. The barbecue here is pretty standard but tasty, and we would order the grilled cheese again. For those who want a sweet treat, the Campfire Cupcake is a must, if only for the pretty Instagram photos (although it’s tasty, too). Amazon’s Prime Day – which is actually several days, but who’s counting? – is almost over, but there’s still a slew of Disney essentials to be found. ©Amazon All of these Disney World theme park essentials are still available if you ACT fast! DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. Frogg Toggs Frogg Toggs Poncho We have tried A LOT of ponchos at Walt Disney World over the years, and this is BY FAR our favorite. This poncho – – available on Amazon in multiple colors, including this striking hot pink – – had several features that we simply adored. The material allowed the rain to slip right off, and between that and the lack of sleeves, we didn’t feel steamed or hot underneath. On top of the that, the pinch was large enough that our backpack was able to fit underneath it comfortably, while still keeping the bag and our back completely covered from the rain. If all that wasn’t enough, the poncho even comes with a waterproof storage bag, meaning we were able to quickly pack it up and throw it in our backpack as soon as the storm ended without worrying about anything in there getting wet. View on Amazon INIU Portable Charger INIU Portable Charger First up, there’s this INIU Portable Charger. This is one of our favorite chargers on the market from a financial value standpoint. This wired charger is packed with power but thin enough to fit in a pocket, wallet, or fanny pack, which makes carrying it around the park much easier than some other bulky charger alternatives. View on Amazon Owala 32 oz Citrus Crush Bottle ©Amazon This bottle features a FreeSip spout designed for either sipping upright through the built-in straw or tilting back to swig from the spout opening, a protective push-to-open lid that keeps the spout clean, a convenient carry loop that doubles as a lock, and double-wall insulation that keeps drinks cold for up to 24 hours, a wide-opening for cleaning and adding ice, and a cup holder-friendly base. View on Amazon Neck Cooling Tubes Neck cooling tube These neck coolers use “innovative liquid plant Phase Change Material to start freezing in environments below 18 ° C (64 ° F), which freezes faster and lasts longer than water.” View on Amazon Power Strip Flat Plug Power Strip This flat power strip features 3 outlets, 2 USB-A ports, and 2 USB-C ports, which can charge up to 7 devices at the same time. This makes it perfect for a Disney hotel room, where outlet space is often at a premium, especially on family vacations. View on Amazon Backpack Ventilation System VentaPak This Ventapack ventilation system uses an “innovative air flow backpack spacer with breathable mesh design” to create “a true separation between your backpack and your back, ensuring optimal airflow, breathability, and reduced sweat.” View on Amazon Autograph Book ©Amazon For decades, autograph books have been a central souvenir at the heart of the Disney theme park experience as kids – – and even some adult collectors – – use them to gather signatures from all their favorite Disney character performers. However, the cold truth is that you should never buy one at the parks thanks to the prices. You can find one on Amazon for over 50% less. View on Amazon Mini Belt Bag Amazon A tiny take on the popular ODODOS belt bag – AKA fanny pack – can fit small items like a phone, wallet, passport, keys, ID and other small items while still being convenient for workouts, running, biking, traveling, and general everyday use. I’ve flown a lot of places. In fact, I travel almost full-time for my job. I’ve been delayed by lightning, snow, and mechanical problems. I’ve made an unscheduled landing in an airport that I did not plan to go to that day. I’ve slept overnight slumped over a suitcase in an airport terminal. I’ve been upgraded to first class, and I’ve been bumped off a flight. So when I tell you I’ve never experienced anything like this airport check-in, I mean it. St. Louis Lambert International Airport It is the Year of Our Lord 2025 and I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I flew on a hand-written boarding pass recently! Here’s what happened. I was flying Air Canada from St. Louis to London with a layover in Montreal. When I tried to check in on the app, it wouldn’t give me a boarding pass and instructed me to see an agent at the airport. That’s mildly annoying, but certainly not unheard of. I didn’t have bags to check (#carryoncrewforever) but I figured it had to do with Passport checks. I got to the St. Louis airport a little before the counter opened and waited. When it did open, it turned out the airline’s computer system was completely down. No one could check in. The agents were kind, but clearly overwhelmed. I grabbed a seat, assuming this would be sorted out in 15, maybe 20 minutes. Waiting… Two and a half hours later, the line was wrapped through the terminal and passengers were getting understandably anxious. Then came the surprise solution: They started handing out blank boarding cards and pens. Yes, we were going to hand-write our boarding passes. Let me say that again: I wrote my own boarding pass with a pen. Here’s what you’re gonna do… They showed us a sample — flight number, name, destination — and sent us on our way to TSA. I figured security would laugh us right back out. But nope. TSA was already looped in, and they calmly waved us through with our handwritten slips. Apparently this wasn’t their first rodeo either. I still can’t believe I went through TSA with this. After another hour of gate waiting (and an eventual computer fix), we were re-issued proper boarding passes, and the flight finally left for Montreal — late, but flying. You’d think that would be the end of the drama, but no. Because our check-in process in St. Louis hadn’t met all the international standards — especially for those with checked luggage — we weren’t allowed to transfer normally in Montreal. The entire plane had to go down to baggage claim, officially exit through Canadian customs, and then re-enter the airport to go through security all over again. Luckily, I had a 5-hour layover built into my itinerary, so I made my connection to London just fine. Others weren’t so fortunate. There was even time for a little Montreal Airport poutine! In July 2024, during the massive Crowdstrike outage, some airports in India used handwritten boarding passes to keep things moving while global systems were crashing. That kind of creativity feels wild — but also essential — when you’re trying to get hundreds of passengers from Point A to Point B without a functioning network. Honestly? As frustrating and surreal as the experience was, I admire the people on the ground who kept things running. I also think it was a weirdly important reminder: Delays and mishaps are a part of travel. And learning to stay calm and adaptable when plans derail is, I think, one of the most valuable takeaways from traveling often. Made it to Heathrow. Unfortunately, Colin Firth was not waiting at the International Arrivals gate for me. I deal with anxiety regularly. But I truly believe that the curveballs you encounter when you travel — missed connections, handwritten boarding passes, surprise security re-checks — make you more resilient. You start to trust yourself a little more each time you navigate something unexpected. You realize: I’ve handled worse. I’ll figure this out too. Would I like to never handwrite a boarding pass again? Absolutely. But do I kind of love that I have this story now? Also yes. Universal Orlando and The Boring Co. may be teaming up on a tunnel project, Orlando business leaders told the Orlando Business Journal recently. Universal Studios Several local leaders and industry experts say they have “heard chatter” that The Boring Co., owned by Elon Musk, and Universal are working together to bring a tunnel-like transportation system to Orlando. The Boring Co. is a Texas-based infrastructure and tunnel construction firm founded by Elon Musk in 2017. Boring’s most notable work is the “Vegas Loop,” an underground public transit system that connects people to different parts of Las Vegas using Tesla vehicles. ©The Boring Co. President and CEO of The International Drive Resort Area Chamber of Commerce, Maria Triscari, said she has heard the discussion about a “Vegas Loop”-like project coming to Orlando and believes it is likely to happen in the future. “It’s definitely been in the talks because we want to be a cut above the rest, and that’s the type of thing that needs to happen, and that’s the kind of people we have on the I-Drive Corridor, the visionaries. They are just so forward-thinking,” Triscari said. ©The Boring Co. Joshua Wallack, who owns Mango’s Tropical Cafe on International Drive, said he has also heard the rumors of Boring’s expansion into the area, and he’s also fully in support of it. He said, “It’s out there in the real estate community — Boring is looking at the whole I-Drive district, basically having the Orange County Convention Center to Epic Universe on a Home and they have a broker in the market looking for properties right now and actively speaking to property owners.” Epic Universe entrance As of now, neither Universal nor The Boring Co. has commented or confirmed on plans to team up on a project like this. An Orange County spokesperson declined to comment on the matter, and an Orlando spokesperson said via email, “There has not been any formal paperwork filed or conversations about such an endeavor.” The Orlando Business Journal also submitted a public records request for references to such a project, but did not get any results. Islands of Adventure But Dennis Spiegel, CEO of International Theme Park Services, said he also has heard talk about this potential partnership. If the rumor is true, Spiegel says it would be a good idea, as he believes the biggest issue facing Orlando right now is transportation. He compared the potential system to Disney World’s monorail. Walt Disney World Monorail There are currently a few projects hoping to address transportation along I-Drive, but they’re still a ways away from completion. SunRail’s board recently approved a $6 million study tied to the proposed Sunshine Corridor with Brightline and SunRail that’s focused on answering questions about construction timelines and overall project cost. Brightline train There’s also a $35.6 million pedestrian bridge project at the intersection of International Drive and Sand Lake Road. Orange County Commissioners gave the green light to advance a study of this project. John Stine, a board member of the International Drive Resort Area Chamber of Commerce, said he’s heard talk of a “loop” transportation system being built in Orlando, but the first step is finishing those two transportation projects. We’ll be keeping an eye out for additional updates about this potential new transportation system. In the meantime, stay tuned to DFB for the latest Orlando theme park news and more.
