Refreshment Outpost is a fun spot to stop during the EPCOT Festivals, and this year it’s serving up some new holiday treats. 2025 Refreshment Outpost The 2025 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays has officially begun, and there is a lot to offer. There are plenty of food booths with tasty items, merchandise items to grab (of course), and even concerts to watch. But don’t let it overwhelm you. We’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. Come along with us as we check out what’s on the menu at Refreshment Outpost this year. Menu Refreshment Outpost has a new savory dish on the menu this year — Spiced Shrimp Stew with Jollof Rice. Also returning is the Raspberry DOLE Whip, along with a collection of beer and ciders, and the Boyd & Blair Chai Tea Mule. 2025 Refreshment Outpost Menu Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself! Eats This year, we ordered the new Spiced Shrimp Stew with Jollof Rice for $7. We were a little sad that the Peanut Stew from last year didn’t return, but we resigned ourselves to fate and dug into the new dish. The shrimp in it are small, and it doesn’t really have a seafood or briny fish taste. In fact, we found the flavors to be quite pleasant, especially with the spices. Spiced Shrimp Stew Also on the menu this year is the always popular DOLE Whip Raspberry in a Waffle Cone. The waffle cone is new this year, but the Dole Whip itself is the same as last year. DOLE Whip Raspberry The Raspberry DOLE Whip is always a refreshing snack, and this year, you can get it for $6.50. Drinks Two new beers are on the menu this year – Ivanhoe Park Brewing Co. Florida Ginger Snap Lager, and Crooked Can Brewing Company Chocolate Mint Cookie Stout. We started with the Ivanhoe Park Brewing Co. Florida Ginger Snap Lager for $12.50. We’ve had a lot of gingerbread and ginger flavors throughout the festival this year, and this fits in line with those snacks. It’s not a BEER beer, but something you can sip on very easily, even if you’re not a normal beer drinker. It almost reminds us of a hard cider. Ivanhoe Park Brewing Co. Florida Ginger Snap Lager Next up, we ordered the Crooked Can Brewing Company Chocolate Mint Cookie Stout for $12.50. It’s very chocolatey, and if you love Girl Scout Thin Mints, this is the drink for you because it’s giving that in stout form. This is another drink that’s easy to sip on as you’re just chilling around the festival. Crooked Can Brewing Company Chocolate Mint Cookie Stout And finally, we got the Boyd & Blair Chai Tea Mule for $12.50, which was one of our Best of the Fest items in 2024! Well, it didn’t disappoint this year, either. It really tastes like Christmas in a can, and we LOVE it. The cinnamon stick in it just makes the flavors sing even more. There’s a slight tangy taste in the back, but then those spices are in the front, and it just all works well together. It also comes in a cute cup, which doubles as a souvenir. Boyd & Blair Chai Tea Mule Also on the menu for 2025 is the returning Ciderboys Caramel Apple Hard Cider. You can order this hard cider for $12.50. OVERALL If you’re looking for a nice savory item, you can’t go wrong with the stew, but we still think the Peanut Stew from last year was better. However, there are some very nice drinks here, and we recommend that you make a point to visit this booth just for the Mule alone. But all the drinks we tried felt festive. That’s it for this booth, but there’s a LOT more where that came from! Click here to see FULL reviews of EVERY. SINGLE. BOOTH. at the Festival of the Holidays! This year’s Festival includes FOUR new ‘additional locations’ serving up some new eats and drinks, AND the return of Sunshine Seasons as a bonus spot! Cookie Milk Shake The 2025 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays has officially begun, and there is a lot to offer. There are plenty of food booths with tasty items, merchandise items to grab (of course), and even concerts to watch. But don’t let it overwhelm you. We’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. And now we’re checking out some new Festival additions along with Sunshine Seasons. Menu Block & Hans joins the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays lineup with Cinnamon-glazed Nuts, and an Apple Pie Frozen Slush drink! Block & Hans Menu Regal Eagle Smokehouse joins the Festival with a Frozen Gingerbread Eggnog. Regal Eagle Smokehouse Menu Over at Fife & Drum, a new Apple Pie Sundae is on the menu for the festival! 2025 Fife & Drum menu Sommerfest is also new for this year and is serving up a Warm Apfel Cider with Jägermeister liqueur. ©Disney And finally, Sunshine Seasons is serving up the Peanut Butter Cookie featuring M&M’S Minis Milk Chocolate Candies Holiday Blend, and a NEW Cookie Milk Shake. 2025 Sunshine Seasons Menu So let’s get to it! Eats While you’ll find a whole Holiday Kitchen dedicated to glazed nuts this year, you can also grab some Cinnamon Glazed Nuts at Block & Hans for $5.99. This is an exclusive recipe that’s made in-house, but they taste like the standard cinnamon glazed nuts you can find all over Disney World, although we also tasted a hint of vanilla. You get that nice crust on the nuts from the sugar and cinnamon, and the pecans are soft and delicious. Cinnamon-glazed Nuts We stopped by Fife & Drum to check out the new Apple Pie Sundae made with apple pie filling, vanilla ice cream, and caramel sauce, topped with streusel for $6.79. We heard a lot of folks rave about this, and it was okay, but it didn’t blow us away. The apple pie tasted like the canned apple pie filling, so it’s trying to be apple pie, but it’s just not really working. There’s no extra flavor to it, although the apples were soft, juicy, and tasty. We think it might’ve needed more cinnamon. Apple Pie Sundae The Peanut Butter Cookie featuring M&M’S Minis Milk Chocolate Candies Holiday Blend at Sunshine Seasons returns from 2024. You can snag this year’s cookie for $4.79. Peanut Butter Cookie Last year, we found this to be a really good cookie. It’s also HUGE, so you can take a few bites, box it up, and take it back to your hotel room for later. Flavor-wise, it’s so buttery with lots of peanut butter flavor (but not TOO much). Drinks In addition to roasted nuts, Block & Hans is also serving up an Apple Pie Frozen Slush made with Frozen Minute Maid Apple Juice with cinnamon syrup topped with cinnamon and sugar for $6.79. If you want to make it boozy you can add apple pie moonshine for $17.50. This was delicious, but we thought it was more like a frozen mulled cider, rather than an apple pie. The addition of cinnamon syrup and cinnamon sprinkled on top gives it a holiday vibe. Apple Pie Frozen Slush The NEW shake at Sunshine Seasons is a non-boozy Cookie Milk Shake made with Spiced gelato with whipped cream, a cookie wreath, Mickey-shaped holly, and sprinkles, and is priced at $9.49. This is one of the prettiest milkshakes we’ve seen, but…well, the flavor didn’t match up to what we imagined. The shake itself tasted more like eggnog because there are some spices in there that are eggnog-ish. But it doesn’t pull off those flavors. The gingerbread cookie, though, was tasty, and we almost think the flavors of the shake should’ve matched it. If you want a pretty Insta photo, get this. If you want something that’s tasty, maybe you should opt for something else. Cookie Milk Shake Sommerfest is serving up the new Warm Apfel Cider with Jägermeister liqueur garnished with an orange wedge — and you can snag this one for $15.50. The first thing we noticed is that you can barely taste the alcohol, so it’s very easy to drink. The cider itself, though, is very thin, and we wished it had more girth to it, as well as some spices. It is served warm, so it’s a comforting drink on those cooler days. But we wouldn’t go out of our way to order this again. Warm Apfel Cider And finally, over at Regal Eagle Smokehouse, we checked out the new Frozen Gingerbread Eggnog with gingerbread syrup topped with nutmeg. This is served non-boozy, but you can add Thomas Tew Single Barrel Rum to make it boozy! Our reporter had never had eggnog before, and really liked how the gingerbread paired with it. The gingerbread flavor is present, but it’s not overwhelming. Frozen Gingerbread Eggnog We also loved that the drink is frozen, but it was also very smooth. If you like eggnog and gingerbread, give it a try! OVERALL If you’re visiting the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, you may be so focused on the food booths that you’re missing out on these additional locations with festival food. We recommend going through the festival passport to make sure you’re not missing anything! Click here to see FULL reviews of EVERY. SINGLE. BOOTH. at the Festival of the Holidays! Did somebody say, “HOT COCOA FLIGHT?!” 2025 Holiday Sweets and Treats Yep, Holiday Sweets and Treats sure did! Holiday Sweets and Treats is one of the Holiday Kitchens (also known as Festival Food Booths) at the 2025 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, and along with peppermint sundaes and shakes, they’ve decided to switch things up this year with a new Festive Flight made of Hot Cocoas! We hope you’ll join us at Holiday Sweets and Treats as we bring your our FULL review! Menu You’ll find Holiday Sweets and Treats along the World Showcase Promenade (near the Port of Entry), and that’s especially important to know if you’re participating in the Holiday Cookie Stroll, because this is the pick up location for your completion prize! But as far as the regular menu, the Peppermint Sundae is the star food item. 2025 Holiday Sweets & Treats Menu The sweets really kick in here with a large assortment of drink offerings, including the highly anticipated Festive Flight, which is comprised of Christmas Sugar Cookie Hot Cocoa, Gingerbread Hot Cocoa, and a Cookie Butter Hot Cocoa! Hot Cocoa by Joffrey’s is also available (with or without your choice of liqueur), along with the returning Chocolate-Peppermint Shake (with or without whipped cream vodka). Two new-to-the-Festival beers are also up for grabs: Carib Brewery Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree IPA and Stevens Point Brewery Whole Hog Hazelnut Brownie Porter. Let’s dig into some sweets, my friends! Eats The Peppermint Sundae is a simple classic. Chocolate ice cream is topped with whipped cream and peppermint candy for $6.50. Peppermint Sundae This ice cream treat is every bit as basic as it looks and sounds; however, the portion size is generous, which is nice. The crushed candy cane doesn’t go beyond the topping, unfortunately. This really is a menu offering that will typically appeal much more to the kiddos in your traveling group. Drinks It’s time to try the Festive Flight! This trio features Christmas Sugar Cookie Hot Cocoa, Gingerbread Hot Cocoa, and a Cookie Butter Hot Cocoa for $6.50. Festive Flight The Christmas Sugar Cookie Hot Cocoa is topped with whipped cream and sprinkles. This one was our favorite of the three, and it’s going to be a good one for those with a sweet tooth. The sugar cookie flavor was very prominent but not overly sweet, which was great! Kids and hot chocolate fans will LOVE this. Christmas Sugar Cookie Hot Cocoa Up next is the Gingerbread Hot Cocoa topped with whipped cream and a gingerbread garnish. There is some strong gingerbread in this one, so gingerbread fans will LOVE this. The drink also comes with a cute little gingerbread man in the drink, but he will drown if you leave him in there too long (poor guy)! Gingerbread Hot Cocoa Finally, the Cookie Butter Hot Cocoa is topped with whipped cream and speculoos spice. The speculoos spice hit us the most on the backend with a strong kick. It’s not a hot spice, but it has a spice to it. If you’re not super adventurous, you probably won’t like this one. Cookie Butter Hot Cocoa The Chocolate-Peppermint Shake featuring Twinings Peppermint Cheer Tea returns again this year. Chocolate Peppermint Shake with Twinings Peppermint Cheer Tea It’s $5.25 for the non-alcoholic version, or $12.50 to have it with whipped cream vodka. Our recommendation based on years of trying this shake in both its non-alcholic and boozy forms is that the Chocolate-Peppermint Shake is really only worth grabbing if you’re going to add the vodka. The whipped cream vodka is DEFINITELY the right choice for this drink, making it smooth, a little icy, and sweet. When it all mixes with the chocolate flavor and the dash of peppermint on top, it feels like a lovely little indulgence. The menu! Hot Cocoa by Joffrey’s is available at this Holiday Kitchen, too. You can warm up with a cup on its own for $4.00, or try it with your choice of liqueur from Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur, Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream Liqueur, or Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey. Prices for the boozy versions range from $12.25 to $15.50. Two brews are also up for grabs for $12.50 each: Carib Brewery Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree IPA and Stevens Point Brewery Whole Hog Hazelnut Brownie Porter. OVERALL Overall, this is a MUST for those of you looking for a tasty holiday treat (obviously, it’s in the name)! We loved everything here, and you’ll 100% see us back here again…and again…and again! Walt Disney World is in the midst of a period of evolution, with new attractions, refreshed experiences, and even full lands coming to the resort over the next decade. However, to reach that presumably bright future, the resort has a present full of construction. ©bioreconstruct on X In my 30+ years visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I’m not sure I remember a period with quite as much concurrent construction as what’s happening right now. Three of the resort’s theme parks have massive construction projects going on — including a huge site in the dead-center of the Magic Kingdom — while several of Disney’s hotels are also in the midst of construction and refurbishment projects of their own. Magic Kingdom Piston Peak The most controversial current construction site at Disney World sits in the space once occupied by the Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island. The opening day attractions closed in July of 2025, with construction beginning almost immediately on Piston Peak. This new, Cars-themed expansion is themed to appear like a national park, and will feature two attractions and natural rock work aesthetics. ©Disney Villains Land Piston Peak isn’t the only land currently being built at the Magic Kingdom. The area “beyond” Big Thunder Mountain is going to be home to the long-rumored Villains Land, a full expansion based on Disney’s antagonists. Land clearing is well underway in the area. @bioreconstruct on X Refurbishments Big Thunder Mountain Railroad In addition, there are two major refurbishments happening at the park. First off, there’s Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. The iconic ride has been closed since January 2025 for a massive refurbishment project. According to Disney, the attraction is scheduled to reopen in 2026 with “new magic” including a fully refurbished track and a new sequence inspired by the Rainbow Caverns of Disneyland’s Mine Train Through Nature’s Wonderland. ©Walt Disney Imagineering On the other side of the park, Tomorrowland’s Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin closed on August 4th for a refurbishment that’s also expected to last until 2026. The overhauled attraction will feature new ride vehicles, new blasters, and a new scene featuring the park’s original robot character named Buddy who will ensure “departing Space Rangers are fully prepared for their mission (by) enthusiastically providing encouragement, final system checks on their Star Cruisers, and a chance to hone their blaster aim.” Closed for Refurbishment Hollywood Studios Hopping over to Hollywood Studios, there are two major construction projects happening right now, with a third set to begin next year. Monsters, Inc. Land In 2025, Muppet*Vision 3D – and the rest of the former Muppet Courtyard – closed to make way for construction of a massive new Monsters, Inc. land that will create Monstropolis. The new land will be headlined by Disney’s first suspended coaster, based on the film’s iconic door sequence. Work on the land began immediately, and things are moving quickly in the area. ©bioreconstruct on X Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster The Muppets won’t be gone for long, however, as the characters will be taking over the Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster from Aerosmith sometime in 2026. We’re sorry, “Bad Boys of Boston” fans, but this change will feel like a breath of fresh air for a ride that has seemed very 90s dated for a while now. ©Disney Magic of Disney Animation Finally, in a bit of a full-circle moment, Star Wars Launch Bay in the Animation Courtyard has closed to make way for a NEW take on the Magic of Disney Animation, harkening back to the park’s early days. The new version will feature theming based on the Emmy-winning Once Upon a Studio short that celebrated Disney’s 100th Anniversary. This will include “moving” portraits, as well as character meet & greets. Sketch classes, where guests will be able to draw their own favorite Disney characters, similar to the original Animation Academy. The Drawn to Wonderland playground, which will feature an oversized flower garden with musical instruments, a Mad Tea Party playset, and a Tulgey Wood exploration area, all designed in the style of Disney Legend Mary Blair. Animation Courtyard Animal Kingdom Tropical Americas Meanwhile, in Animal Kingdom, construction is charging along on Tropical Americas, which is replacing DinoLand U.S.A. The new expansion will feature attractions based on Indiana Jones and Encanto. The last vestiges of DinoLand, including DINOSAUR, will be closing on February 2nd, 2026. Construction Harambe Market The eatery in the park’s Africa section closed for refurbishment on October 20 and is expected to reopen in early 2026 with a changed menu and refreshed atmosphere. Harambe Market Hotels In addition to the projects across the theme parks, several Disney hotels are undergoing refurbishment projects as well. While each remains open, guest rooms and public areas are being refreshed, which could lead to guests hearing and seeing evidence of construction. The hotels currently in the midst of refurbishments include: Animal Kingdom Lodge Contemporary Resort Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Polynesian Village Pop Century Resort Port Orleans Resort Yacht Club Resort Construction walls at Pop Century There’s construction spread across the map at Walt Disney World right now, as the resort continues to evolve into its second half-century. Travel plans are getting affected in a HUGE way today! ©Airbus A320 Today, on November 29th, there have already been 153 flight delays at the Orlando International Airport — and they’re only going to go up. There have been travelers worldwide who have been stuck or delayed during the busiest travel weekend of the year! Let’s take a look at the details. Airbus 320 has “ordered immediate software fixes for 6,000 A320-series aircraft, a move that affected more than half of the narrow-body fleet and forced airlines to ground jets during one of the busiest travel weekends of the year,” according to CNBC. This is among the largest directives issued in Airbus’ 55-year history. ©Airbus A320 The world’s largest A320 operator, American Airlines, said over 200 planes were impacted. “American expects no further operational impact related to the Emergency Airworthiness Directive and looks forward to the remaining days of the Thanksgiving holiday travel period, especially Sunday, our most-traveled day,” the airline said. Flying American Six aircraft were affected in United Airlines’ fleet, whereas Delta Air Lines said fewer than 50 of its Airbus A320 fleet were affected. “As of 3:30 pm [local time], 20 of the 34 affected aircraft are ready to return to service. We’re expecting the remaining to be ready overnight, allowing flights to resume as planned on Sunday, 30 November,” a Jetstar spokesperson told CNBC. ©United Airlines The European Union Aviation Safety Agency said in a directive on Friday that a “JetBlue flight on October 30th experienced an ‘uncommanded and limited pitch down event.'” On top of that, the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration issued an emergency directive later that day, which told operators of the affected model to address the glitch. ©JetBlue CEO of Airbus, Guillaume Faury, stated in a LinkedIn post, “The fix required on some #A320 aircraft has been causing significant logistical challenges and delays since yesterday. … Our teams are working around the clock to support our operators and ensure these updates are deployed as swiftly as possible to get planes back in the sky and resume normal operations.” ©Getty Images Unfortunately, this issue has come up during one of the busiest travel weekends of the year, with everyone returning from their Thanksgiving trips. Refreshment Port The 2025 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays has officially begun, and there is a lot to offer. There are plenty of food booths with tasty items, merchandise items to grab (of course), and even concerts to watch. But don’t let it overwhelm you. We’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. And now we’re heading to Refreshment Port to check out its popular poutine! Menu Once again, Refreshment Port has its popular Turkey Poutine on the menu! This festive dish features sweet potato fries with turkey gravy, cranberry relish, and crispy onions. 2025 Refreshment Port Menu New for 2025 is the Keel Farms Cinnamon Sugar Donut Hard Cider. And, returning for this year is the Pasek Cellars Cranberry Wine. Eats This year, the Turkey Poutine features sweet potato fries with turkey gravy, cranberry relish, and crispy onions. You can order it for $9.50. Turkey Poutine We were pleasantly surprised by this bowl of poutine! We hit it’s usually hit or miss, but the Turkey Poutine was a hit for us. The fries were thin and crispy and held all the toppings really well without turning into mush. The gravy soaked into the turkey, making it moist and juicy without weighing down the dish. The cranberry relish added a beautiful brightness and sweetness, and we wish we had more cheese cubes on top. The onions added a much-needed crunch, and we just really enjoyed this warm dish of goodness. Drinks New on the drink menu this year is Keel Farms Cinnamon Sugar Donut Hard Cider, which is priced at $12.50. Keel Farms Cinnamon Sugar Donut Hard Cider This really tasted like a cinnamon sugar donut! It had a strong yeast flavor with a subtle hint of cinnamon sugar when you’re sipping from the top. It’s a very sweet drink, and we think it might be too sweet for most people, especially towards the end of the big glass, but it’s a nice cider to sip on throughout your next few festival stops. And the returning drink this year is the Pasek Cellars Cranberry Wine for $7.50. 2025 Refreshment Port OVERALL We loved our visit here! The poutine was a great savory dish that tasted like Thanksgiving dinner, and the cider was fun and different. We might not go out of our way to stop here, but if you’re craving poutine, it’s a solid spot for a real meal (versus the 50 cookies at every other booth), so it’s a great idea for dinner. That’s it for this booth, but there’s a LOT more where that came from! Click here to see FULL reviews of EVERY. SINGLE. BOOTH. at the Festival of the Holidays! Starting our Disney World adventures off with a coffee drink is one of the best parts of our day. Imagine: you get to the park super early in the morning, in time to rope drop a few rides, then pop over to a Joffrey’s kiosk for a quick pick-me-up. YUM! Joffrey’s at Hollywood Studios You’ll find Joffrey’s stands at several locations in each park, and they all offer different featured menu items, while also serving all the staples. This is one of the fun things about grabbing your coffee at Joffrey’s — you can try so many different specialty drinks! We recently stopped by the Pixar Plaza Joffrey’s stand in Hollywood Studios to try the tried-and-true Round ‘Em Up Frozen Cappuccino to see if it’s just as good as we remembered. There are three variations of the Round ‘Em Up drinks at the Joffrey’s stand at Pixar Plaza — hot or iced latte, or frozen cappuccino. We opted to grab the frozen cappuccino for $7.99, but the hot and iced latte versions are only $7.19. The Round ‘Em Up Frozen Cappuccino includes Joffrey’s frozen cappuccino, cookie butter syrup, and dulce de leche sauce. It’s topped with whipped cream, animal crackers, and mini M&M’s. We couldn’t wait to give this a try! Round ’em Up Frozen Cappuccino Alas, the drink lived up to the excitement of its ingredient list! We couldn’t have enjoyed this frozen drink more. The cookie butter syrup was fantastic. It was VERY reminiscent of the animal crackers on top, like a deliciously buttery shortbread. The dulce de leche sauce added a smooth, subtle caramel flavor. Our taste buds were on a tasty trip, for sure. This drink is SO good. One of the best things about this drink was that it wasn’t super sweet. We didn’t feel like we needed to rinse our mouths of a ton of sugar. It was a great balance of sweetness and coffee. The toppings were a fun addition, as well, of course. A great balance of coffee and sweetness! We will definitely be getting the Round ‘Em Up Frozen Cappuccino (or one of the other variations) again! If you’re looking for a smooth and tasty coffee drink to fuel your day at Hollywood Studios, this is one we recommend trying. For more Disney World snack news, keep following DFB! It’s getting busy at Disney World, and that is creating some dining complications. Roaring Fork We visit Disney World every single day — even during the busiest of times. We’ve literally seen it all, and yet, there are still some trends that throw us off or disrupt our day. Such is the case with a problem that is plaguing Disney World hotel restaurants these days. A big task during our Disney World days is to do what any regular guest would do. That includes grabbing breakfast — whether it be at the parks or hotels. During a recent morning visit to the Roaring Fork in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, we were met with a harsh reality. Wilderness Lodge When we went to place a mobile order for breakfast with the My Disney Experience app, we were met with an annoying time window pushed further out than we’d like. ©Disney While trying to make an immediate mobile order, the earliest we could get for an Arrival Window was 30 minutes out. If you’re in a rush like we were, this can really set back your day. Bear Claw Ultimately, it’s another reminder that you should probably place a morning mobile order at the hotels (and parks, frankly) as early as you’re willing to — just in case. Remember that you can choose a later pick-up window when you order! Around the holidays, the entire Disney World Resort gets pretty busy, and that just increases demand at all the restaurants. Next time we want to get breakfast, we’ll be ordering at least 30 minutes early or coming to terms that we may have to eat a little later than we’d like. Large crowds can form at the Mobile Order area of restaurants Have you run into this problem at Disney World? Looking for a coffee boost during your Festival of the Holidays adventure? Let’s check out this year’s specialty drink at Joffrey’s! Joffrey’s World Discovery The 2025 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays has officially begun, and there is a lot to offer. There are plenty of food booths with tasty items, merchandise items to grab (of course), and even concerts to watch. But don’t let it overwhelm you. We’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. And now we’re heading to Joffrey’s to check out this year’s specialty coffee. Menu At each of the Joffrey’s locations in EPCOT, you’ll find the Holiday Cookie Latte on the menu. This coffee drink can be ordered non-boozy or add a little something extra with Baileys Original Irish Cream Liqueur. You can also get it hot or cold. Joffrey’s Festival Specialty Drink Menu You’ll find this special holiday offering at each of the Joffrey’s locations in EPCOT! Drinks The holiday season calls for a holiday-themed coffee drink, and Joffrey’s is ready with this year’s all-new Holiday Cookie Latte made with espresso, caramel sauce, almond syrup, and a choice of milk, topped with whipped cream and merry sugar sprinkles for $7.19. The Cast Member at the counter recommended it hot, so that’s what we went with! Holiday Cookie Latte This was such a nice way to start off our day at the Festival of the Holidays! Our reporter, who doesn’t usually drink coffee, thinks they may need to have this in the morning of their next EPCOT day. It wasn’t overly sweet or too bitter but had a great balance between the two. The whipped cream melted in, creating a frothy top layer, and the caramel really came through, especially as you drink more. It’s a fun drink that feels like a special holiday treat without being over the top or too far from your normal morning coffee. Holiday Cookie Latte OVERALL We really enjoyed this one! We’re always trying new Joffrey’s drinks for different seasons, and this is definitely a top for us! It was fun without being over the top and had a great caramel flavor, all while keeping us warm on a blustery EPCOT morning. We wouldn’t necessarily go out of our way to get it because it’s not insanely unique, but if you’re already heading to Joffrey’s, it’s a great option to grab. Who’s up for a little trip to France for the holidays? Sounds pretty nice, oui? Le Marche De Noel Well, we’re doing the next best thing here by visiting Le Marche De Noel! It’s one of the Holiday Kitchens (also known as Food Booths) at the 2025 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, and it’s located in the France Pavilion. Even though there is SO MUCH to do at the Festival (like take a Cookie Stroll, check out the Candlelight Processional, listen to Holiday Storytellers around the park, and more), we hope you’ll take a moment to join us at the Le Marche De Noel as we bring your our FULL review! Menu Two new food dishes are joining the lineup this year at Le Marche De Noel: the Dinde Rôtie (Roasted Turkey) and the Macaron de Noël aux Épices (a gingerbread macaron). The Crème de Saumon Fumé en Brioche (Smoked salmon spread on a sesame brioche roll) makes a return to the Festival. Le Marche De Noel Menu The beloved Frozen Hot Chocolate Martini is back, and it’s also joined by two new sips: Pierre Sparr Crémant d’Alsace Brut Rosé and Vin Chaud French Mulled Wine. Oo la la! Let’s dive in! Eats The Dinde Rôtie, Sauce et Garniture, servi avec Patates Douces is roasted turkey plated with mushrooms, pearl onions, bacon, turkey gravy, and roasted sweet potatoes. Dinde Rôtie, Sauce et Garniture, servi avec Patates Douces This new dish is $9.25. The turkey with this dish was great, and the gravy had a good mixture to it. The mushrooms weren’t very overpowering, so even if you don’t like mushrooms, you still may enjoy this. Dinde Rôtie, Sauce et Garniture, servi avec Patates Douces Up next, the Crème de Saumon Fumé en Brioche aux Grains de Sésames, Concombre et Radis is back. And we’re certainly glad about that, because this item landed on our Best of the Fest list last year! Crème de Saumon Fumé en Brioche aux Grains de Sesames This dish presents smoked salmon spread on a sesame brioche roll with cucumber and radishes for $9.25. This sandwich was absolutely lovely. The sesame was an amazing touch to it, and the vegetables were a good addition. This is our favortie thing here yet again. Crème de Saumon Fumé en Brioche The new Macaron de Noël aux Épices also comes in at $9.25. Macaron de Noël aux Épices It’s a large gingerbread macaron with spiced filling. How fun! This is another fantastic item. It has gingerbread and cinnamon flavors, with an icing center. This smells amazing! It breaks very easily in your mouth. Its presentation is phenomenal — you can smell the gingerbread as you bring it close to your mouth. UGH, IT WAS AMAZING! This was DELICIOUS! Now, onto the drinks! Drinks ‘Tis the season for the Frozen Hot Chocolate Martini made with vodka, cocoa, and whipped cream! Frozen Hot Chocolate Martini Another returning Festival favorite, this cocktail comes in at $14.25. This was fantastic as well. It’s a favorite item here year by year, and that trend continues. It’s a classic holiday treat! Now, you may be familiar with the popular Glühwein served at the Bavaria Holiday Kitchen year after year. But the Vin Chaud French Mulled Wine is making its Festival debut! Vin Chaud French Mulled Wine It’s likewise served warm and is flavored with orange and cinnamon spices. This was fantastic! We love that it’s served hot in a cute little cup. It’s like a wine version of an apple cider, with jazzed-up extra flavors. The new Pierre Sparr Crémant d’Alsace Brut Rosé joins the lineup this year. This sparkling sip costs $6.95. OVERALL Overall, this is up there with the best booths at the Festival of the Holidays — and we say that confidently! Everything here is a must-try, with lots of holiday tastes and treats. You can’t skip on this one; we simply won’t let you! Marche de Noel spread Thanks for joining us at Le Marche De Noel! Come along with us as we check out a popular Festival of the Holidays booth — Yukon Holiday Kitchen in Canada! Yukon Holiday Kitchen The 2025 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays has officially begun, and there is a lot to offer. There are plenty of food booths with tasty items, merchandise items to grab (of course), and even concerts to watch. But don’t let it overwhelm you. We’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. Come with us as we visit the popular Yukon Holiday Kitchen in the Canada Pavilion. Is it worth a try? Let’s find out! Menu The Yukon Holiday Kitchen is serving up some returning dishes and a new cookie for 2025! Returning to the festival this year is one of our Best of the Fest items from 2024, the Seared Salmon. Also back on the menu this year is the Beef Bourguignon with crushed potatoes. New to this year’s menu — and the Cookie Stroll — is a Maple Leaf Shortbread Cookie with maple buttercream. Menu Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself! Eats First, we grabbed the Seared Salmon with butternut squash purée, maple-bourbon glaze, and fennel-arugula salad for $7.50 (or a snack credit on the Dining Plan). This was on our Best of the Fest list last year — will it make it two years in a row? The crispiness on top of the salmon is nice, but it’s got a whole salty and sweet thing going on. The fish itself flakes apart easily, and we loved the smooth butternut squash purée, which also adds some sweetness. Seared Salmon Next, we ordered the returning Beef Bourguignon with crushed potatoes for $7.25. This dish is also a snack credit on the Dining Plan. This is a lovely savory dish with lovely rustic mashed potatoes with the skin on. You get three big chunks of meat that easily pull apart with a fork. The sauce also has a nice herbiness. Beef Bourguignon The sweet treat here is the all-new Maple Leaf Shortbread Cookie with maple buttercream for $4.00 or a snack credit. This cookie will help you fill out your Cookie Stroll, too! We really wanted to love this cookie more, but there was just something missing. It’s a really good, crumbly shortbread, but it is a little tough. The icing tastes like maple syrup, and we wish there were more of it to balance out the two cookies. Maple Leaf Shortbread Cookie We will say, though, kids are probably going to love this cookie. Drinks This year’s beer flight includes two returning beers — 81Bay Brewing Co. Peanut Butter Banana Porter and the Playalinda Brewing Co. Maple Cookie Blonde Ale, and the new for 2025 Collective Arts Brewing Brown Sugar Coffee Porter. You can snag the flight for $12.75, or you can order 6-oz pours for $6.00, and 12-oz pours for $9.75. You can also order a Frozen Joffrey’s Coffee with or without a boozy twist. The non-boozy version is $5.25, while adding Tap 357 Canadian Maple Rye Whisky to the frozen coffee takes the price to $12.75. So the consistency of this is like a frozen hot chocolate, but with a milky coffee flavor. You can also choose to get it with or without whipped cream. Of course, we got the whipped cream, which adds an additional creaminess to it. This is a nice sweet treat, but it’s been cold in Florida, and we don’t think we love it when it’s a bit chilly out. Frozen Joffrey’s Coffee The drink menu is rounded out by a Regional Ice Wine for $14.50… Regional Ice Wine …and a Regional Red Wine for $11.50. OVERALL One thing we really loved about this booth is that there are some nice savory things that balance out all the cookies and sweet treats we’ve been eating at other food booths (although there are sweet treats here). The salmon, though, is the real standout, and if you love salmon, we think you’ll be pleased with this dish. That’s it for this booth, but there’s a LOT more where that came from! “Mele Kalikimaka is the thing to say…” and is serving up food and sips from the islands of Hawai’i — at the Festival of the Holidays this year! 2025 Mele Kalikimaka Booth The 2025 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays has officially begun, and there is a lot to offer. There are plenty of food booths with tasty items, merchandise items to grab (of course), and even concerts to watch. But don’t let it overwhelm you. We’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. And now we’re heading to one spot in particular — the Mele Kalikimaka — to give you the FULL scoop! Is it worth a try? Let’s find out! Menu Over at the Mele Kalikimaka, you’ll find a variety of available items, all with a bit of an island twist. There’s Pork, Salmon, dessert, and plenty of drinks! Prices range from $6-14.25. 2025 Mele Kalikimaka Menu Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself! Eats First up, we grabbed the returning Kālua Pork for $6.00. The Kālua Pork with coconut, sweet potatoes, and mango salad is BACK this year. We’ve historically enjoyed this dish, although, in 2021, we thought a little more mango would be ideal. The mango, sweet potatoes, and pork pair beautifully together, so we’re excited to see this dish return and see if it lives up to our memory. Kālua Pork The pork is pretty salty with a nice sweetness to it, and the potatoes are rich and creamy but a little underseasoned. Together, they’re a perfect flavor combination. This tastes like a classic holiday meat dish, but with some Hawaiian flair! It’s back! Also returning on the menu this year is the Lomi Lomi Salmon for $6.50. This dish is gluten and wheat-friendly, and it comes with tomatoes, onions, salmon roe, yuzu-mayonnaise, and yuca chips. In the past, the salmon was super tasty but a bit salt-heavy. The chips had a great crispy texture, and we particularly loved the combo of the salmon and the chips. Let’s see how it holds up this year! Lomi Lomi Salmon And we can’t leave this booth without grabbing the Cookie Stroll item: the Coffee Mocha Cookie for $3.25. This was one of our favorites in 2024, and it comes back strong this year! Coffee-Mocha Cookie The Coffee Mocha Cookie is topped with coffee-infused buttercream, cocoa nibs, and chocolate-covered espresso beans. This is like a coffee lover and a chocolate lover’s dream come true! There’s first a wave of sweetness, followed by the bitterness of the coffee flavor. There’s a decent amount of icing on top, which we love. The cookie! Overall, the food here really hits! Drinks In terms of drinks on this menu, we got the new Maui Brewing Co. Mango Stickee Rice IPA – 6 oz $6.00 / 12oz $9.75. This has a light sweetness, which was very different compared to other IPAs we had at the festival. It’s carbonated right on the tongue. Maui Brewing Co. Mango Stickee Rice IPA The Melon Breeze with Spiced Rum is back again this year, and it costs $14.25. This is a super sweet drink with a strong melon flavor, and it’s really good as long as you like sweet drinks. Melon Breeze This tropical-style drink is perfect for those who don’t enjoy the taste of alcohol, as the rum is masked by the cavalcade of sweet flavors. OVERALL This booth is a great stop for unique flavors and fun tropical twists on classics. This booth continues to hit hard every year, and 2025 is no different! Mele Kalikimaka Spread That’s it for this booth, but there’s a LOT more where that came from! Click here to see FULL reviews of EVERY. SINGLE. BOOTH. at the Festival of the Holidays! We hope you’re hungry because the 2025 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays has officially started! EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays This wintertime festival runs from November 28th through December 30th, and offers visitors festive holiday eats from the booths, fun activities, and new merchandise. We’ve made our way around the festival, trying all the new and returning eats, and now we’re sharing our very TOP picks. It’s time for the Best of the Fest! Without further ado, let’s dive into our picks for the BEST eats and drinks at the 2025 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays. New Bests Spiced Caramel Apple at Connections Eatery We loved the Spiced Caramel Apple drink made with Minute Maid Cranberry Juice, apple cider, and caramel syrup, garnished with a cinnamon stick. If you want the holiday season all wrapped up in a drink, this is it. The flavors mesh so well together with the cinnamon and apple cider, but you also get sweetness and tartness from the caramel and cranberry. Spiced Caramel Apple We will be getting this drink again and again. Read our full review Frozen Gingerbread Eggnog at Regal Eagle Regal Eagle is offering a Festival of the Holidays option for the first time, and knocked it out of the park! The Frozen Gingerbread Eggnog with gingerbread syrup topped with nutmeg is $6.49, although you can pay a little extra and get a spirited version with Thomas Tew single Barrel Rum. Frozen Gingerbread Eggnog This is the perfect drink for those who want a little eggnog…with a twist. Well done, Regal Eagle! Macaron de Noël aux Épices at Marche de Noel The macaron at Marche de Noel was also fantastic. It’s got a lovely gingerbread flavor to it, and the filling is almost like a cookie filling with a bit of a chew. Macaron de Noël aux Épices The macaron also breaks easily, and it’s aromatic…like you can smell the gingerbread before you even bite into it. Finally, it gets an A+ for presentation. Returning Bests Sparkling Holiday Fig Cocktail at Tangerine Cafe — Flavors of the Medina The Sparkling Holiday Fig Cocktail is made with Sparkling Wine, Kleiner Feigling liqueur, and white cranberry juice. This cocktail has been a favorite of ours for a while, and this year is no different. It’s got a lovely spiced wine taste with some sweetness coming from the fig. Sparkling Holiday Fig Cocktail This cocktail has been a hit for a while, and we think it’s still going to be a hit this year. Read our full review Reuben Croquettes at Favorites of Festivals Past The Reuben Croquettes are made with pastrami, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese, and are served with a Thousand Island dipping sauce. They have a wonderful crispy crust that has a great crunch when you bite into them. Reuben Croquettes Inside are heavenly, thin slices of pastrami mixed in with cheese. Read our full review Pork Schnitzel at Bavaria Holiday Kitchen The Pork Schnitzel with mushroom sauce, spätzle, and braised red cabbage has made our Best of the Fest list for several years running, so it’s no surprise that it’s on our list this year. The pork is delicious, and we loved the creaminess of the mushroom sauce. Pork Schnitzel The cabbage adds a touch of acidity to balance out the rest of the dish. Read our full review Best Booth of the Fest American Holiday Table We just call this food booth “old reliable” because it just keeps doing it again and again. The Slow Roasted Turkey is back as the mini Thanksgiving feast you didn’t know you needed, even after Thanksgiving. The returning Blackened Catfish with Hoppin’ John and Comeback Sauce is just a winning combo of EVERYTHING. The new Chocolate Cookie featuring SNICKERS bar pieces and salted caramel is gooey, chewy, and WONDERFUL. American Holiday Table Spread Even the Beer Flight wow’d us this year, meaning that you can’t go wrong with ANYTHING at this booth. Read our full review Best Runner-Up Booth of the Fest Marche de Noel France is always at the top of our list, too, and we’ve already mentioned the fabulous Macaron de Noël aux Épices you can get here. But this booth is a solid A+ through and through. The Dinde Rôtie, Sauce et Garniture, servi avec Patates Douces is a lovely turkey dish that feels like comfort food. The Salmon Brioche is SO simple, yet perfect. Marche de Noel spread The Vin Chaud French Mulled Wine flavored with orange and cinnamon spices is a nice wine with some seriously jazzed up flavors. The Hot Chocolate Martini is the BEST way to upgrade a hot chocolate. Best of the Fest for Kids Red Velvet Cookie Funnel Cake at the Funnel Cake Stand The Red Velvet Cookie Funnel Cake is topped with powdered sugar, vanilla ice cream, cream cheese whipped cream, red velvet cookie pieces, mini chocolate chips, and chocolate syrup. We loved the flavors of this, and think kids are going to love it, too. The funnel cake is crispy and fluffy. Red Velvet Cookie Funnel Cake It’s also topped with ice cream and cream cheese whipped cream, so it has a sweeter and creamier topping than what you’d get with regular whipped cream. Fun and delicious! Read our full review Ginger-Molasses Cookie at Experimental Prototype COOKIES of Tomorrow The Ginger-Molasses Cookie is going to be a hit with kids because it has that classic flavor topped, with a delicious cream cheese frosting. It’s gooey and chewy, and everything you’d want out of a cookie. Ginger Molasses Cookie The icing adds a nice, sweet touch. Read our full review Salted Caramel Spaceship Earth Cookie at Experimental Prototype COOKIES of Tomorrow The Salted Caramel Spaceship Earth Cookie is going to be a fun one for kids, too, mostly because it’s shaped like Spaceship Earth. Salted Caramel Spaceship Earth Cookie Plus it’s pretty tasty, too, so that’s a bonus. Read our full review Cookie Stroll The classic Festival of the Holidays Cookie Stroll makes our Best of the Fest list as a great pick for little ones. With the cookie stroll, you purchase five cookies from any of the cookie stroll locations in the Festival Passport. As you buy the cookies, you’ll get a stamp for each one.
