We swung by Epic Universe to try some new eats, and found LOTS of great flavors to rave about! Loaded Fries & Mac and Cheese! Since Epic Universe officially opened earlier this year, we’ve been regularly popping over to check out all of the rides, entertainment, and, of course, FOOD that Universal’s new park has to offer. On a recent trip to the park, we picked up several new menu items, and there were some definite winners in the mix! ​​ First off, we stopped by The Oak & Star Tavern in Celestial Park, which specializes in barbecue dishes and sides. The Oak & Star Tavern And before we get to the food, we just have to give a quick shoutout to how pretty it is inside, especially with the seasonal decorations. This is one of our go-tos for a quick and filling meal in Epic Universe! The Oak & Star Tavern Now, on to the food! We ordered two different “loaded” dishes here, starting with the Loaded Brisket Mac and Cheese for $8.99. This came in the same size skillet as the restaurant’s side items, so keep in mind that it’s not necessarily a huge, heaping portion, and would be better as a snack, or part of a larger meal, rather than a super-filling meal in itself. But as far as the flavors go, we have NO complaints there! Loaded Brisket Mac & Cheese The mac & cheese itself was creamy, gooey, and all around lovely. It had a white cheddar flavor, which we enjoyed, with a smooth shell-shaped pasta. The brisket had a classic barbecue flavor, and the crispy onions and scallions on top added a nice texture. Of the two dishes we tried here, the mac & cheese was our favorite, and we would definitely get this again as a snack or a fancy side to go with the rest of our meal! Loaded Brisket Mac & Cheese But even though the mac & cheese was the “winner” the Loaded Pulled Pork Fries ($8.49) were also worth grabbing if you prefer a crispy fry base over creamy mac & cheese! The fries have a barbecue seasoning on them and taste like a barbecue chip in fry form. It’s topped with melted cheese, pulled pork, bacon, and scallions. Loaded Pulled Pork Fries Our only complaints about this were that we could have used more cheese, and we wished the bacon was crispier instead of chewy. But all of the flavors were still there, and we still enjoyed this dish overall, even though it wasn’t quite as much of a home run as the mac & cheese. If you’re on the fence, we’d say either go with the one that has your preferred base, or get both to sample since they’re smaller, side item portions as opposed to entree-sized! Pulled Pork Fries Next up, we headed to Hooligan’s Grog & Gruel in the Isle of Berk for MORE mac & cheese! Hooligan’s Grog & Gruel This snack stand is known for its mac & cheese cones, and we grabbed the Snoggletog Harvest Cone for $18.99. It’s a mac & cheese cone topped with pulled maple glazed turkey, spiced lingonberry drizzle, roasted sweet potatoes, sage chimichurri, and crispy stuffing crumbles. This is literally like a Thanksgiving feast in a cone, and the flavor of every ingredient came through — seriously, we were amazed how it all came together! Snoggletog Harvest Cone The cone itself was seasoned like an everything bagel, just like the other ones on the menu, and the bread was soft and fresh. The sage chimichurri added a nice extra spice of flavor to go with the other ingredients, which were basically Thanksgiving classics all in one bite. The only downside is that the toppings are all loaded at the top of the cone, so once you get through them, you’re left with plain mac & cheese. The mac & cheese itself is still a nice, white cheddar flavor, so it’s not that it’s bad after the toppings are gone, there just aren’t as many exciting flavors happening! Snoggletog Harvest Cone The Snoggletog Harvest Cone was a fun, festive offering if you’re craving a Thanksgiving dinner remix, and we’re glad to see them experimenting with seasonal items! Overall, we’d say everything we tried on this latest trip was at least good, and some were even great! Have you ever wondered where the Skippers of the Jungle Cruise go during their off time? Skipper Canteen! We recently stopped by the Skipper Canteen at Magic Kingdom, a place that we consider an underrated gem at the popular park. Is it worth a stop on your next trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth? We’re here to give you our full review. Atmosphere The restaurant is located in Adventureland, right across from the Swiss Robinson Family Tree House. The dining spot is based on the world-famous Jungle Cruise attraction. It provides an adventurous dining environment with a punny twist. The lore behind the restaurant is that it started as a tropical headquarters that allowed skippers to rest before their next adventure. Inside the Skipper Canteen The restaurant features three different rooms: the crew’s colonial-era Mess Hall, Dr. Albert Fall’s Jungle Room, and the once-secret Society of Explorers and Adventurers meeting room. Skipper Canteen table Full of Jungle Cruise Easter eggs and homages, Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen is a MUST-TRY if you’re a fan of the ride. But enough about the restaurant — what’s on the menu here?! Menu The Skipper Canteen has a bit more exotic offerings than your typical American and theme park fare, but the menu will still work for any picky eaters. The dining spot offers African, Asian, and Latin dishes, as well as speciality cocktails, beer, and wine. The menu! And now, onto the main event! Drinks To drink, we picked up the Enchanted Orange Dream for $9.75. This is made with Dole Whip Orange blended with Vanilla Soft-serve with an Orange Candied Rim. The enchanted orange dream tastes like a Creamsicle smoothie, basically. It has small orange candies covering the rim of the glass, as well as some whipped cream on the top. Enchanted Orange Dream It’s surprisingly easy to put down — from the looks of it, we thought it was gonna be thicker, like a thick smoothie or a milkshake. Honestly, it’s super light and fluffy for what a smoothie-type drink could be. This was actually pretty tasty! This was tasty! Could definitely see this drink being a BIG hit for kids. The other thing that surprises us is that it’s not overly sweet. It’s definitely sweet, but it wasn’t crazy. In a way, this drink was pretty refreshing! Kids will love this! Eats Every meal needs to START with a starter, so we grabbed the Pao de Quijo for $16. This is Brazilian cheese bread that comes with two dips — chimichurri and poblano pepper cream cheese. This is a secret menu item, so you won’t find it listed! Pao de Quijo The Brazilian cheese bread is chewy but not overly chewy. It takes a couple of bites to get it down, but it’s like a satisfying chewy bread if you know what we mean. The cheese flavor is definitely noticeable in this, which is really good cause sometimes with cheese bread you can’t really taste the cheese too much, or even sometimes the cheese flavor is too strong. This has a really good balance of cheese and bread. The dip it comes with is really good. The chimichurri has a little bit more of a salty, earthier taste to it, whereas the poblano tastes like your normal cream cheese. Let’s dip! The bread on its own is good, but with the dips, it’s so much better. Honestly, picky eaters may still like this even though it’s unique — it’s THAT good! You get a good amount of pieces for it, so it’s a good light appetizer before you start your meal. This was so good! The first entree we tried was the “Tastes like Chicken” Because it is! for $30. This dish is Crispy-fried Chicken, Jasmine Rice, Chili-Soy Glaze, and Pickled Vegetable Slaw. This dish was really good, as usual. We felt like the rice was a standout — it was super flavorful. It had a bit of a saltier taste to it and a more savoury taste to it, more than what you’d get with plain rice. “Tastes like Chicken” Because it is! The chicken was moist, and you get a good portion of it. It was cooked well, and the chili soy sauce on it made the chicken sweeter. It wasn’t necessarily our favourite just because we would’ve preferred a more savoury sauce to go with the chicken — but it was not bad at all. The chilli soy sauce was also just a little bit too salty. This was good! It also comes with pressed veggies like cabbage, lettuce, that kind of stuff — a good side for the dish. We would get this dish again — it’s a good dish for someone to get here. Let’s take a bite! We also grabbed the Nile Nellie’s Noodle Bowl for $35. This is described as Niles and Niles of Rice Noodles…Stir-fried Shrimp, Tamarind Sauce, Toasted Peanuts, and Fresh Herbs. On the first bite, we could tell the bowl itself was very fresh. The noodles are light and not too chewy, so you can tell they were cooked well. The peanuts had a good crunch as well and added good balance to the flavor. Nile Nellie’s Noodle Bowl There’s not a lot of peanuts. They’re kind of sprinkled all over the dish, but there’s enough to tell that they’re there and to taste them. The shrimp is firm, thick, and overall just very delicious. You also get a decent amount of shrimp pieces with the noodle bowl. This was delicious! The fresh mint herbs on top are so good, giving the dish a fresh minty taste. This is our favourite thing that we had here, and we would definitely get this again. It also feels like a great portion of food, not falling on the heavier side. You can definitely finish it without needing to take any of it home. You need to get this! For dessert, we had the Malva Pudding Cake for $9.50. This was Amarula Cream Liqueur, Vanilla Bean Whipped Ganache, and Apricot-Caramel Coulis with Vanilla Gelato. This dessert was AMAZING. It comes with a scoop of vanilla gelato with some caramel drizzle on it. It doesn’t say on the menu, but the gelato also comes with pieces of popcorn on top of it, which just really added to it. Malva Pudding Cake The popcorn almost gave the gelato a bland (in a great way), crunchy counterpart. The gelato tastes like vanilla ice cream. It’s very sweet with the caramel, but then that popcorn really balances out the flavor. There are also these crunchy crouton-like pieces under the gelato — again, it just adds a good texture counterpart to it. This is seriously delicious! We would’ve gotten a bowl of the gelato with the popcorn on top of it alone, cause that was just too good. The popcorn was a fun surprise! The cake offered a more subtle sweetness, and it definitely worked. Desserts that are like this, where they’re not overly sweet, or the flavor isn’t so much in your face, they just hit different! We need MORE! The best part is when you mix the cake together with the cream that it comes with, as well as these apricot caramel bits. They’re really just like jelly apricots, and WOW, these were so delicious. It gave the cake a really nice, sweet and fruity taste. Overall, this dessert was amazing. It’s kind of like two desserts in one, and is definitely worth getting — we would 100% get this almost every time! You NEED to try this! Nosh or Not This Disney World restaurant is a must-visit if… You are a sucker for “Disney lore.” Do you know the lore of the S.E.A.? Do you eat up all the little easter eggs and nods to Disney Imagineering around Disney World? This restaurant is jam-packed with STORY! Here, the story goes that the same skippers who guided your boat down the Nile, Amazon, and Congo Rivers have invited you to their tropical headquarters to eat! Your server may be able to point out even more secrets, so don’t be afraid to lean into your curious, adventurous spirit! You aren’t afraid to try something new. The menu has a mix of African, Asian, and Latin entrees. You won’t find any burgers or chicken tenders on the menu, and for a lot of people, that’s a GOOD thing. Don’t get us wrong, we love a chicken tender, but it’s refreshing to see unique dishes on the menu here. Plus, there’s even a SECRET menu item that only well-traveled explorers may know about. It’s fun to be in on the secret! You love a lively meal with fun service. While the servers aren’t quite performing at ‘50s Prime Time Cafe or Whispering Canyon Cafe level (if you know, you know), you may encounter a skipper or two with a sense of humor. The servers at Skipper Canteen have that classic Jungle Cruise sense of humor (dad jokes, dad jokes, and more dad jokes). It makes for an entertaining, memorable meal! “ You should skip this Disney World spot if… You value experience over food. Many people only eat at one table service restaurant per day in Disney World. If you’re saving your one table service meal for more of a “WOW” restaurant, you may be more inclined to dine at a place like Cinderella’s Royal Table or Be Our Guest Restaurant. Yes, Skipper Canteen is packed with decorations, but there aren’t any characters to meet, and the dining room really leans into that Adventureland theme, which might not be for everyone. You prefer a big breakfast. Skipper Canteen is NOT open for breakfast. We’ll be honest: the breakfast options in Magic Kingdom are pretty limited. If you were hoping to enjoy a nice, big breakfast before you start your day in the Magic Kingdom, we recommend checking out the nearby hotels, like Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort or Disney’s Contemporary Resort, which both serve excellent meals in the morning. You are dining with kids under 10. OK, yes, there’s a kids’ menu here. But some of the entrees may not appeal to little ones, and the sight gags and novelty jokes might not resonate with toddlers or young children. There are definitely other restaurants that are better suited for kids, such as The Crystal Palace. Overall Overall, we really enjoyed our experience here. It was great food, great ambience, great music, great theming, and great service from the Cast Member skippers. Here’s what we got! Brace yourself, Star Wars fans, the first film is officially coming back to theatres for the movie’s 50th anniversary! ©Lucasfilm Lucasfilm is going to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the film that started it all in a galaxy far far away, in the best way possible. On February 17th, 2027, you’ll be able to watch Star Wars in its original theatrical cut form in theatres! No one thought it was going to happen, but Star Wars fans were shouting, “Never tell me the odds.” The movie won’t be released until a little over a year, but at least we know that it’s finally coming. It’s extra exciting that it has been confirmed by Lucasfilm that it is, in fact, the original theatrical cut of the movie. Stormtroopers Earlier this year, the studio made the announcement that it would be bringing Star Wars, later titled Star Wars: A New Hope, back to theatres to celebrate the HUGE anniversary. However, everyone was asking which version would be coming. Would it be the Special Edition version that many have grown to know and most likely have only seen? The version that features Jabba the Hutt and the debated “Greedo shot first?” Millennium Falcon Well, the question has FINALLY been answered that it will be “a newly restored version of the classic Star Wars (1977) theatrical release” that will be playing in theatres for a limited time — a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one! It hasn’t been confirmed yet, but there are reports that it could even be coming to IMAX. Rise of the Resistance It’s going to be an amazing experience to watch the movie in theatres…and a rare one! George Lucas remastered the original trilogy back in 1997, making Special Editions that became the only versions that Lucasfilm would release. That included in theatres, on streaming, on DVD, etc. These are probably the only versions of the original trilogy that many have seen — so this experience will be like watching a new movie. Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run At first, the re-release was supposed to drop on April 30th, 2027. Why that date? Well, that would have been a few weeks ahead of a new Star Wars film called Star Wars: Starfighter, starring Ryan Gosling. However, they decided to choose earlier in the year for less theatrical competition. Rise of the Resistance Fans are going to be flooding the theatres at the beginning of 2027. We’re talking about a once-in-a-lifetime experience to watch Star Wars in its original glory — the way it was made. Chances are, not everyone there will have seen this version in a LONG TIME, if at all! Galaxy’s Edge With this announcement, Star Wars: Starfighter, The Mandalorian and Grogu, could Star Wars be back on track? Only time will tell! Le Cellier is one of the more expensive and fancy restaurants in EPCOT, especially in World Showcase. It’s very popular, so much so that it’s often hard to get a reservation, so when you sit down to dine, you’re likely expecting a pretty fantastic meal. It’s time to eat! As this is a steakhouse, many people choose to try one of the $60 steak cuts on the menu, but there are plenty of other options available as well. We recently spotted two new items on the menu and knew we had to give them a try to tell you our thoughts, but we’ll be honest — we’re not totally sold on either of them. Have you ever dreamed of working a Disney World as a Disney princess? A prince? A pirate? Who else LOVES ‘Beauty and the Beast’? NOW is your chance to go after the job that every Disney fan DREAMS of! Disney World is hiring for your dream job as a character look-alike, and we don’t want you to miss this opportunity. Disney often releases auditions for the parks, cruise line, and more throughout the year. Now, Disney has announced auditions for character look-alikes happening in Kissimmee on December 9th and December 12th! More specifically, they will take place at the Animal Kingdom rehearsal facility backstage. Hi Mary Poppins! Let’s start with the ladies! Disney is looking for women who look similar to Anna, Elsa, Tiana, Mulan, Moana, and Isabela. If you’re looking to audition for these characters, you must be between 5’4″ and 5’7″, and you have a personality that is warm, outgoing, and welcoming. Jack Sparrow For the guys, Disney is looking for actors who can resemble Aladdin and Shang. You must be between 6’0″ and 6’2″. Again, Disney is looking for men with outgoing personalities! Hey, Aladdin! The time slots for the auditions range from 9 AM and 2 PM. When you go to sign up, select only one day and time slot that works for you. You can sign up on their website. Make sure to wear something comfortable to the audition — you will be moving around! Mulan and Li Shang Disney is looking for people who will be able to begin working within the next eight months for both full-time and part-time positions. Unfortunately, Disney World Cast Members and current WDW International Program Cast Members are not eligible to audition. Anna and Elsa in their Christmas outfits! So, now’s your opportunity! As Universal’s Epic Universe moves into its second year of operation in 2026, many guests are planning their first (or in some cases, return) visit to the resort’s newest theme park. Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment As someone who’s been visiting theme parks for well over 30 years, I can’t wait to get back to Epic Universe. The park’s detailed portals and headline attractions are some of the best I’ve ever personally experienced (I’m looking at you, Monsters Unchained), and I would highly recommend the park to other themed entertainment fans. Once you decide to go, the next question is when, and that’s where watching the calendar comes into play. In the fall of 2025, Universal released its 2026 ticket prices, including for Epic Universe. As is typical in the theme park space, tickets for the park are priced based on date. For 2026, single-day tickets range between $139 and $199 a day. Epic Universe The cheapest single-day tickets of the year overall are August 31st and September 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 8th, 9th, and 10th, all of which cost $139. Super Nintendo World The cheapest dates in each of the 10 other months are as follows: January: 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 16th, 27th, 28th, 29th, and 30th for $164 a day. February: 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th for $164 a day. March: 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th for $174 a day. April: 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 27th, 28th, 29th, and 30th for $169 a day. Be our Guest ballroom This restaurant has become one of those “must-do” dining experiences on a Disney World vacation, like the kind people book because it feels essential. And listen, we get it. The atmosphere inside the Beast’s Castle is unlike anything else in Disney World, and we’ve had good meals there over the years. But if you’re on the fence, or only considering Be Our Guest because everyone else says you should, we’re here to suggest three other restaurants that might give you a better overall experience for the price. Let’s dive into the options that we think offer better value, more consistent food, and in some cases, a much more memorable meal. Liberty Tree Tavern — Comfort Food, Consistency, and Better Prices Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom is one of the most reliable meals you can get in the park. This spot serves all-you-care-to-enjoy comfort food with hearty dishes like roast turkey, pot roast, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and their famous Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake. It’s the kind of meal that feels homey, satisfying, and always freshly prepared. Compared to Be Our Guest, where the food quality can vary, and the price tag is significantly higher, Liberty Tree Tavern consistently delivers a delicious meal that leaves guests happy (and full). The Patriot’s Platter Price-wise, Liberty Tree Tavern also comes out ahead at just $45 per adult and $24 per child, plus tax and gratuity. It’s still a table-service dining experience, but the cost is noticeably lower than Be Our Guest’s prix-fixe menu. Signature dishes like the Steakhouse 71 Filet Mignon, the popular Stack Burger (a star from the lunch menu), and their delectable chocolate cake give this restaurant a well-deserved reputation for excellent food at a surprisingly approachable price point. Not only has Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Zootopia 2 hopped onto the big screen, brand-new easter eggs inspired by the film have also slithered over to Zootopia in Shanghai Disney Resort! This isn’t just a screen to reality moment, it’s a groundbreaking collaboration between Walt Disney Imagineering and Walt Disney Animation Studios, where creativity flowed both ways. When Zootopia opened at Shanghai Disney Resort in 2023, Walt Disney Imagineering drew inspiration from the first film and even crafted immersive details exclusive to Shanghai. Writer and director Jared Bush found himself inspired by the land’s vibrant streets and unique locations, such as the sheep barber shop and Zootopia Fitness, weaving those ideas into the sequel. Now, the story has come full circle with elements from Zootopia 2 making their way into the land, creating an experience that is ever evolving. From Marsh Market to Gazelle performing her latest song “Zoo,” there are over 30 brand-new easter eggs to discover right now in Zootopia! Here’s a few to keep an eye out for during your visit. Dive into Marsh Market In Zootopia 2, we dove into uncharted waters with the introduction of Marsh Market — a bustling hub for semi-aquatic mammals that fans had never seen before. Dr. Fuzzby Arrives in Zootopia Dr. Fuzzby’s partners counseling room has officially set up shop in Zootopia, adding another layer of personality to the city. Look up as you stroll past the Lemmings sliding their way to work, and you’ll spot the studio perched above them. From Park to Screen One of the most exciting details to spot are locations that debuted in the land now starring on the big screen! In Zootopia 2, sharp-eyed viewers can spot familiar spots like the sheep barber shop and the gym — both originally designed as locations just for Zootopia at Shanghai Disney Resort. If you love the words FREE and DISNEYLAND together, then there’s an event next year that you cannot miss in the parks! ©TikiLand TikiLand Day is an event that happens in Disneyland that not many fans know about. It’s perfect for fans of Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar at Disneyland Resort. It’s full of fun costumes, a scavenger hunt, and more, and other than buying a ticket to have admission to Disneyland (or use your Magic Key), it’s completely free! TikiLand Day will return to Disneyland park on Sunday, April 26th, 2026. You’re encouraged to dress up in your tiki attire, participate in the free scavenger hunt with cut prizes, take part in photo ops, and more! This will be the sixth TikiLand Day event, with the first dating back to 2019. ©Tiki tOny You must have admission into Disneyland to participate, but otherwise, the event is completely free. You’ll need to text the code TIKILANDDAY to 833-340-0035 to sign up for the event, which is also where you’ll receive all communication and activities involved in the event. ©Tiki tOny If you’re a Magic Key holder looking to grab a park pass reservation, they’ll open up on January 26th, 2026. For non Magic Key holders who will need to purchase a regular ticket, tickets and park pass reservations are currently available. We recommend snagging them sooner rather than later so you don’t miss out! Magic Key magnet line It’s important to note that this event isn’t hosted by Disney, but does take place inside Disneyland. The beauty of French fries is that there are so many ways to enjoy them in Disney World. You can just go for the standard Disney fries, which, yes, are one of our favorite snacks. Or you can opt for Mr. Kamal’s seasoned fries in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, which we would literally eat every day if we could. Truffle Mushroom Frites Maybe you’re in the mood for a nice, big plate of loaded fries. Well, we’ve got that, too. This is one reason why we love The Daily Poutine in Disney Springs, because they’re always dreaming up new ways of serving fries with sauces and cheese. However, a new poutine there had us a little conflicted for a hot minute. Let’s talk about it. The Daily Poutine now has Truffle Mushroom Frites for $10.49. These are fries with Wild Mushroom Ragù, Gruyère Cheese, Truffle Aïoli, Parmesan Panko Crumble, and Parsley. So here’s where our confusion started: our reporter loves truffles, but hates mushrooms (it’s a texture thing, and I totally get it). But we’re all pros here, and we’re going to try the new foods. However, we found that the other textures in this dish, like that panko crumble, helped hide the mushroom texture, and the truffle aioli overwhelms the mushroom flavor. We even ate a few mushrooms! WHO KNEW? Well, we’ll give them a try! The truffle sauce is OUTSANDING. It’s got a wonderful earthy, umami flavor with some saltiness. There was also a heaping LOAD of Gruyere cheese in giant clumps, so you also get some great cheesy flavor with that, and the Parmesan panko crumble (and there’s a lot of that, too). We didn’t taste much of the parsley, but it’s probably hiding in the sauce. The fries are always good here, nice, crispy, and hot. SO much cheese Overall, it just goes to prove that even if you don’t like a thing, you might try something like this because Disney often does a good job of making that thing more accessible. Is it just us, or are smoothis some of the most underrated drinks ever?! Seriously, we love a good smoothie! Disney Springs! We recently went to Disney Springs to try two of Joffrey’s Handcrafted Smoothies, and we’re sharing our thoughts with you. For those wondering, yes, we are getting frozen smoothies in December. For others wondering, yes, it does get cold here despite it being Florida! We couldn’t resist heading to Joffrey’s at Disney Springs to grab a smoothie and thought, why not grab two? So we headed there as soon as possible. The first flavor we tried was the Banana Split for $7.99. This smoothie was made up of Pineapple Juice, Strawberries, Bananas, Chocolate, and Yogurt. Banana Split! The first few sips gave us a stronger strawberry-banana flavor with some underlying chocolate. However, once you get towards the bottom, you get a lot more pineapple juice, resulting in a tangy flavor. So, the pineapple juice sinks towards the bottom. Let’s give it a try! The drink itself is very fruity and very smooth. The chocolate and the yogurt come together to create a creaminess to the smoothie rather than an “Icee.” There were a lot of flavors in this thing, yet they all came together so well to create a fruity and tasty drink! This was tasty! The other drink we got was the Purple Piñata for $7.99. The drink consists of Apple Juice, Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries, and Yogurt. The yogurt in this drink was very difficult to detect for some reason, and didn’t have the same creamy quality to it that the Banana Split had. Purple Piñata! This drink is a lot more apple juice-forward, with a very juicy feel to it at first. The mixture was a lot thinner, making the drink a little more liquid-y. The strawberries and raspberries are a lot stronger in this drink than the blueberries, despite the blueberries contributing heavily to the color. This had a strong apple juice flavor! Overall, these drinks were pretty good, and they weren’t terribly priced. This would make for a good breakfast drink while walking around Disney Springs. Warning, they may be tougher to drink if it’s chillier outside — but with how tasty they are, it’s worth it! This was so good! Both the smoothies were delicious — we’ll definitely be back to get them again. Remember, you’ll only find these at Disney Springs, so head over there to give these a try. Disney has released a brand new behind-the-scenes look at the NEW Tropical Americas land! ©Disney The new expansion is currently under construction at Animal Kingdom, replacing the opening day area, Dinoland U.S.A. As the project moves along, Disney took to Instagram with a new video showing the land’s current status. The short clip also breaks down the job responsibilities of a superintendent, including scheduling and quality control. ©Disney In addition to the aforementioned Encanto attraction, Tropical Americas will also feature an Indiana Jones attraction, as well as a carousel. The area has been dubbed Pueblo Esperanza, which roughly translates to “Village of Hope. ©Disney || Tropical Americas Land coming to Animal Kingdom The land will be “lush and sprawling, featuring a large fountain in the center where the villagers like to gather and tell stories,” according to Disney. Pueblo Esperanza Construction Construction on Tropical America has been ongoing for months, with the final portion of Dinoland set to close in February 2026.
