We’ve got some REALLY sad news out of Disneyland Resort, especially for those who are really big fans of a certain menu item available at Award Wieners! Film Strip Fries with Beer Cheese Award Wieners is 100% the place to go in Disney California Adventure if you’re looking for a hot dog, or the iconic Filmstrip Fries. These are basically regular fries, but they’re in a very unique shape — they’re thick and curled a bit, hence the name “film strip.” We’ve got horrible news, though — filmstrip fries are currently OFF the menu and not being served! When we took a look at the Award Wieners menu recently, we noticed that the iconic Filmstrip Fries were no longer listed. Below is a photo of the menu previously… Award Wieners Menu …and here’s what’s currently listed online — no Filmstrip Fries, only regular fries! What is happening?! ©Disney We headed straight to Award Wieners when we stepped into the park and asked a Cast Member if they were really gone, to see if we could get more information. To our dismay, we were told that yes, the Filmstrip Fries are currently off the menu, and they weren’t sure if or when they’d be back. It seems this change was made pretty suddenly, and there wasn’t much fanfare about it. But it’s a big deal to us! Award Wieners Filmstrip Fries Disney, listen to us right now — we are BEGGING for you to bring these back. To some people, the type of fry may not be important, but these are ICONIC. They’re delicious, unique, and regular fries just don’t give us the same Award Wieners feeling. We’re crossing our fingers that the change is only temporary and may be due to an issue with stock, but if these don’t come back, we’ll be devastated. Theme parks are constantly changing, but some updates still hit a little harder than others. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith Several major attractions and even an entire park have now confirmed permanent closures in 2026, and some of them are absolute icons. Whether you are planning one last farewell visit or just trying to stay ahead of the changes, here is what you need to know before these experiences are gone for good. DINOSAUR Permanently Closes at Disney’s Animal Kingdom DINOSAUR in Disney’s Animal Kingdom officially closes on February 2nd, 2026, which means February 1st, 2026, will be your final chance to ride. This is a big one for longtime Disney fans who grew up braving the dark, chaotic journey back to the age of dinosaurs. Dinosaur This closure is part of Disney’s massive transformation of DinoLand U.S.A. into a brand new area themed to Tropical Americas, also known as Pueblo Esperanza. Several parts of DinoLand are already gone, including TriceraTop Spin, the Fossil Fun Games, Chester and Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures, The Boneyard, and the area’s snack stands. DINOSAUR has been the final holdout, and once it closes, DinoLand as we know it will officially be history. DINOSAUR If you want one last encounter with an asteroid and a very angry Carnotaurus, now is the time to plan that ride. Read all about the new Tropical Americas: Pueblo Esperanza land here! Restaurantosaurus Also Closes in 2026 Restaurantosaurus will also permanently close on February 2nd, 2026, with its final day of operation landing on February 1st, 2026. This quirky quick-service restaurant has been a go-to for families looking for air conditioning, burgers, and dinosaur themed jokes hidden throughout the space. Restaurantosaurus Much like DINOSAUR, Restaurantosaurus is closing to make way for the Tropical Americas expansion. While it may not be the most talked-about restaurant at Disney World, it has been a reliable stop for refueling in Animal Kingdom for years. If this has been one of your regular lunch spots, you may want to rustle up one final meal before construction fully takes over the area. Restaurantosaurus Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Closes for Retheme Disney has also confirmed that Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith in Disney’s Hollywood Studios will permanently close on March 2nd, 2026. The final day to ride will be March 1st, 2026. Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster The good news is that this attraction is not disappearing forever. Instead, Disney is transforming it into a brand new Muppets-themed roller coaster that is set to open in summer 2026. The storyline will center on the Electric Mayhem band headlining their biggest concert ever, with riders helping them make it to the show on time. ©Disney The retheme will include updates to G Force Records, a revamped exterior featuring Electric Mayhem inspired details, and a brand new Muppet animatronic that Disney says will be a first of its kind. While it is still sad to say goodbye to the Aerosmith version, we are very curious to see how the Muppets shake things up. Looking for details on the new Muppets ride? We have them all here! Wild Waves Theme and Water Park Announces Final Season Outside of Disney, Wild Waves Theme and Water Park in Washington has announced that its 2026 season will be its last. The park, which has been operating since 1977, will open for the season on May 23rd, 2026, and close permanently on November 1st, 2026. @wildwavespark on Instagram According to park leadership, financial challenges following the pandemic made it impossible to continue operations long-term. Guests who visit in 2026 will still get the full experience, including summer water attractions, thrill rides, and Fright Fest in October. The park also plans to celebrate its final year with special events and promotions focused on nostalgia and family memories. @wildwavespark on Instagram While plans for the land are still in early stages, the owners have shared that future development aims to benefit the surrounding community while respecting the emotional connection many locals have with the park. @wildwavespark on Instagram Change is part of what keeps theme parks evolving, but that doesn’t mean saying goodbye is ever easy. These confirmed closures in 2026 mark the end of some truly memorable experiences, whether that means one last race through the past with DINOSAUR, a final rock out on Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, or a farewell season at a hometown park that’s meant so much to local families. If any of these spots are on your must-do list, now’s the time to start planning those final visits and soaking up every last moment before the gates close for good. *sigh* It’s the post we never want to write, but unfortunately have to write pretty often — the post where we tell you that prices have increased AGAIN in Disney World. Prices have increased yet again! This is pretty common in Disney World, even when it’s not one of those times of year when we see NUMEROUS price increases hit the parks (October is a big time for those), and we’re committed to telling you about each one when we see them so you know how to budget for your upcoming vacations. If you’re heading to Disney Springs, multiple price increases have hit TWO different popular spots — here’s what you need to know. The first set of price increases can be found over at Ghirardelli Soda Fountain, which is home to some of our favorite sweet treats in the shopping and dining district. The following price increases are now in effect on the menu: World Famous Hot Fudge Sundae has increased from $17.95 to $19.50 Magical Hot Fudge Sundae has increased from $19.95 to $22.50 Ocean Beach Sea Salt Caramel Sundae has increased from $17.95 to $19.50 Chocolate Lover’s Hot Fudge Sundae has increased from $17.95 to $19.50 Gold Rush Caramel Almond Sundae has increased from $17.95 to $19.50 Mint Bliss Hot Fudge Sundae has increased from $17.95 to $19.50 Strawberry Passion Hot Fudge Sundae has increased from $20.95 to $22.50 Non-Dairy Hot Fudge Sundae has increased from $19.95 to $23.50 Ghirardelli Those are some HIGH prices, and while we love ice cream sundaes as much as the next person (I am especially a big fan of them), there are LOTS of other spots on Disney World property to get great ice cream treats for much less. Ghirardelli Price increases have also hit Enzo’s Hideaway: Prosciutto e Melone has increased from $16 to $17 Marinated Olives have increased from $9 to $9.50 Burrata Caprese has increased from $16 to $19 Calamari has increased from $16 to $19 Polpettine has increased from $16 to $19 Rucola has increased from $16 to $17 Greca has increased from $16 to $17 Pollo Grigliato has increased from $17 to $18 Rucola These are some pretty steep price increases, especially on the Burrata Caprese, Calamari, and Polpettine. While the other price increases aren’t as intense, a dollar here and a dollar there can add up quickly. If you were planning on hitting this spot, it’s important to revise your budget and ensure you’ll stay on track! Enzo’s Hideaway Looking for more recent Disney Springs news? The Disney World parks are FULL of closures right now, and while it’s all to make the parks better, it does mean it’s a little hard to experience some of your favorite offerings or try something new. Turkey Poutine Over in EPCOT, Festival of the Arts is getting ready to begin this week, but there’s one popular location that unfortunately won’t be taking part in having a festival offering this year. If you were hoping to hit up Refreshment Port for their specialized or regular poutine, this is your reminder that it’ll be CLOSED for refurbishment starting on January 12th, 2026. Refreshment Port will close for its lengthy refurbishment starting on January 12th, and there’s currently no reopening date listed. Considering the Festival of the Arts takes place from January 16th to February 23rd this year, and festival menus have been fully released, this spot won’t be included in the lineup this year. Refreshment Port In 2025, you could grab any of the following options at this spot during the festival, and some of them have moved elsewhere this time around! Caprese Poutine (Not available at all at this festival) Traditional Poutine (Not available at all at this festival) Artist Palette Jumbo Chocolate Chip Cookie (available at Refreshment Outpost during the 2026 Festival of the Arts) 81 Bay Brewing Co. Italian Pilsner (Not available at all at this festival) Boyd & Blair Blood Orange Cosmo (available at Refreshment Outpost during 2026 Festival of the Arts) Artist Palette Jumbo Chocolate Chip Cookie It’s also possible this spot could still be closed for EPCOT’s International Flower and Garden Festival, which will take place from March 4th to June 1st, but we’ll have to wait and see! If you’re really craving poutine in Disney World, you’ll want to head over to The Daily Poutine in Disney Springs, which is home to some pretty amazing options you won’t want to miss. Your packing list for Disney World might be getting pretty long. Between Mickey ears, MagicBands, matching Loungefly bags, all your clothes, and more, you’re probably dreading trying to fit one more thing in your bag. We found a product that takes three items and turns them into one to make traveling even easier. Easily charges our devices! My charging cable bag is a mess, so I’m trading it out for this 3-in-1 charger! DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. Meet the Apple 3-in-1 Charging Station! Charging Station You can put your phone, Apple Watch, and AirPods on this one device to charge them all at the same time. It folds up flat and barely takes up any room in your bag. I leave this in my suitcase when I travel so I always have the chargers I need. Charging Station I love using a MagSafe charger when I travel because after I check my phone in the middle of the night, I can just slide this back onto the slot instead of searching for a cable. We think this was perfect for the price, and it takes up fewer outlets in your hotel room, as well. No more arguing over who gets which outlets! Charging Station We also liked the quality of the charger and weren’t worried about tossing it into our bags with our other items. We’re giving this a 5 out of 5, and yes, all of our devices are fully charged overnight. A score! HUGE news out of the Disney live-action world that you 100% need to know about if you’re looking forward to the upcoming film. ©Disneyland Recently, it was just confirmed that Teagan Croft will portray Rapunzel and Milo Manheim will bring Flynn Rider to life, and that leaves questions flying around who the next cast member to be added to the film would be. Now, we have our answer — it looks like one of our favorite characters from Marvel’s WandaVision could be cast as one of our favorite Disney Villains of all time. According to Deadline, Kathryn Hahn, most known for playing Agatha Harkness in “WandaVision” and “Agatha All Along,” is now being eyed to play Mother Gothel in the live-action remake of Tangled! ©Marvel Mother Gothel is the villain in Tangled, and is known for obsession with youth. Since Rapunzel’s hair is the magic that keeps her young, she uses manipulation to keep Rapunzel in the tower, believing that she always knows what’s best for her. ©Disney Originally, the production was eying Scarlett Johansson for the role, but she backed away due to her upcoming heavy production schedules with Batman II and The Exorcist reboot. Once that announcement came out, the internet very quickly began hoping for Hahn to be offered the role. Now, it seems that the dream may be coming true. ©Marvel In other news, Michael Gracey (best known for directing The Greatest Showman) is still attached to direct the feature, and the script is written by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson and is based on the 2010 animated film of the same name. Kristin Burr will produce the film, while Lucy Kitada will executive produce. January doesn’t seem like it would be a super popular time to visit Disney World, and usually, it’s not. Kids are back in school, the holidays have just ended, and most families choose to book their vacations closer to spring break. EPCOT crowds However, the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend is happening this weekend, from January 7th-11th, and those usually bring BIG crowds to the parks. But, how big is it really? Is it really something to be worried about? We stopped by EPCOT this morning, right before rope drop, to see how things are, and as it turns out? Yeah, these crowds are pretty intense! This morning, EPCOT opened at 10 AM (9:30 AM for those with Early Entry), and we were in line to get into the park a few minutes before 10. The crowds at the front gates were pretty packed all around, no matter what entry point you went to (though we suggest going to the left when you can — most people are right-handed, so they go to the right). Crowds all around! Our reporter arrived via a rideshare and was rerouted a different way due to the runDisney racers. They were rerouted to the Cast Member entrance instead of the regular rideshare drop-off. Others were being rerouted to the bus depot instead. It’s important to remember that if you’re in Disney World during a runDisney race, there may be road closures and alternate routes you may need to take. This could mean that getting to your destination takes longer, so allow extra time for travel! Rideshare sign in Disney World When we got into the park itself, Spaceship Earth was only at a 5-minute wait, despite the crowds at the front, but we could see that being because Early Entry guests decided to head to more popular attractions such as Cosmic Rewind or Test Track. Spaceship Earth If you’re in the park during a runDisney race (or other crowded time of year) and find yourself getting a little overwhelmed by crowds, here are a few of our favorite places in EPCOT to take a breather! Even MORE closures are hitting Disney World this week! There is a lot of construction underway as Disney works to bring new lands to life at Disney World, such as Pueblo Esperanza and Piston Peak National Park. And even amid all the closures for these expansions, other attractions and locations are also closed for maintenance and updates. Disney’s Wilderness Lodge We are here to make sure you always know what is happening at Disney World. There are THREE new closures starting this week, and we don’t want you to be caught by surprise. We are rounding up ALL the closures in Disney World this week, including the three new ones. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Harambe Market — Disney’s Animal Kingdom Harambe Market, a quick-service dining location in Animal Kingdom, has temporarily closed as of October 20th, 2025. It will be closed for a few months, and it is currently expected to reopen in early 2026. Right now, hours are showing on the Disney World website starting March 1st, so it is likely to reopen then. While we are sad to see the dining options decrease in Animal Kingdom, there are still lots of delicious options! Harambe Market You can stop by Flame Tree Barbecue or Satu’li Canteen for a tasty, quick-service meal. We aren’t expecting huge changes at Harambe Market during the refurbishment, but we will keep you updated as we learn more! TriceraTop Spin, Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures, Fossil Fun Games, The Boneyard, Dino Bite Snacks, and Trilo-Bites The first round of closures began in DinoLand U.S.A. on January 13th, 2025. TriceraTop Spin, Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures, and Fossil Fun Game were closed down, and construction has begun on the brand-new land themed to the Tropical Americas, Pueblo Esperanza. The Boneyard has permanently closed as of September 2nd. Dino Bite Snacks and Trilo-Bites are also permanently closed as of October 20th, 2025. Construction It is definitely a sad sight, but we are also excited to see Pueblo Esperanza! DINOSAUR and Restaurantosaurus are still open, but Disney has announced the rest of DinoLand, U.S.A. will be closing for good on February 2nd, 2026. When Is Disney World’s New Encanto Ride Opening in Animal Kingdom? Disney’s Hollywood Studios Animation Courtyard Animation Courtyard closed on September 25th, 2025, to make way for Walt Disney Studios. This new area is expected to open in summer 2026 and will be a special nod to the Walt Disney Studios lot. Star Wars Launch Bay will be turned into The Magic of Disney Animation. This attraction will have you interacting and exploring with this fun take on Disney Animation headquarters. Construction walls around Animation Courtyard This area will also feature a new Drawn to Wonderland indoor play area and the current Disney Jr. Play and Dance! show will be getting a makeover. During the transformation, you will still be able to visit “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” and Walt Disney Presents. Muppets Courtyard, including Muppet*Vision 3D, PizzeRizzo, and Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano Muppet*Vision 3D AND PizzeRizzo closed on June 8th, and Muppets Courtyard has been walled off so construction can begin on the new Monsters, Inc. land. Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano has been closed since May 11th. Recently, the Muppet*Vision 3D sign was officially taken down! Farewell Muppet*Vision Sign Don’t worry, the Muppets won’t be missing from Disney’s Hollywood Studios forever. The Muppets will eventually be taking over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in summer 2026. 15 New Rules That Could Be Game Changers for Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2026 Blizzard Beach Blizzard Beach has been closed since September 8th, 2025! While it has been wonderful having BOTH Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon open at the same time this summer (which was the first time this has happened in YEARS), that has now come to an end. Blizzard Beach is now closed for refurbishment. Blizzard Beach Have no fear, though, if you are looking for somewhere to cool off and enjoy some fun in the water, Typhoon Lagoon will still be open! Keep an eye on the weather, as Typhoon Lagoon will close when temperatures drop. Beginning February 15th, 2026, Blizzard Beach will be reopening, and Typhoon Lagoon will close for refurbishment. REVIEWS: What to Eat (And What to AVOID) at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park Disney World Hotels Surfboard Bay Pool and Kiddie Pool — Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort From January 2026 through April 2026, the Surfboard Bay Pool and Kiddie Pool at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort will be closed for maintenance. Don’t worry, though, if you are in the swimming mood, you will still have plenty of options for pools. You may just need to travel a bit farther. All-Star Sports Pool At Disney’s All-Star Sports, the Grand Slam Leisure Pool will still be open. As well, you can also use any of the pools at the other All-Star Resorts. You can use the Calypso Pool and Piano Pool and kiddie pool at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort or the Fantasia Pool and Duck Pond Pool and kiddie pool at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort. Promenade Fine Art Gallery — Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and Resort The Promenade Fine Art Gallery will be closing its Disney’s BoardWalk location on October 20th, 2025. However, the Promenade Fine Art Gallery isn’t closing for good, and it will just be moving to a new location. Promenade Fine Art Gallery The gallery hasn’t announced yet where that new location will be, but we will keep you updated as we learn more! Jellyrolls — Disney’s BoardWalk Jellyrolls at Disney’s BoardWalk officially closed on April 19th, 2025. This entertainment venue has provided our team with countless memories, and we know many others are also sad to see it close. Jellyrolls had its final farewell performance on April 19th and closed its doors forever on Disney’s BoardWalk. Jellyrolls at Disney’s BoardWalk However, this isn’t the end for Jellyrolls, as the bar has said they are “making a move.” We don’t know many details about that move yet, but we will keep you updated. EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts is right around the corner, and that means that next week, there will be tons of new (and returning) special treats and offerings to grab in the park. 2022 “A Play on Rosé” Flight Now that full menus have been released for this upcoming festival, we’ve already started making our “must-try” lists, especially since this festival is shorter than most. However, while we were doing so, we noticed something interesting — Disney is prone to price increases, sure, but there are some items on festival menus that have gone up as much as 22% in just the past YEAR! It may not come as a surprise to you to find that all of these items are alcoholic, as alcohol certainly isn’t cheap, but some of these price increases? They’re more intense than we were expecting. Don’t worry, we’ve done all the math for you, so you don’t have to! Figment’s Inspiration Station at The Odyssey In 2025, both the Hard Cider Flight and Beer Flight each cost $10.25. Figment’s Inspiration Station at The Odyssey Pavilion In 2026? Both of these are now $12.75 each. That’s a 22% price increase in just one year! Goshiki In 2025, the Junmai Daiginjyo Sake Flight (made with Plum, yuzu, hyuganatsu, and sakuranbo Cherry) was new, and it cost guests $16.75. Goshiki In 2026, the Sake Flight is returning, this time with Peach, mango, and strawberry-flavored Nigori sake, but it’ll cost you $19.75. That’s a 16% increase in one year. Opening Bites In 2025, you could grab the Beer Flight at Opening Bites for $10.25. Opening Bites Food Studio This year, however, getting this Beer Flight has increased 22% as well, bringing it to $12.75. Pastoral Palate Finally, in 2025, you could grab the A Play on Rosé Flight for $11.50. A Play on Rosé Flight This year, the price has increased 16%, bringing it to $13.50. That’s a lot to pay for one flight, especially when you’re not sure if you’ll like it all. For reference, many other alcoholic drinks on the menus either stayed the same price as in 2025, or only increased by 50-75 cents. The flights are still cheaper than buying the drinks individually (even though those would be bigger pours), but it’s something to keep in mind as you budget for the festival. We’ll see if this happens again at the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival, which kicks off on March 4th. More Recent Festival of the Arts News! If you’re looking for the MUST-VISIT Disney World restaurants in 2026, you’ve come to the right place! One of our meals at Homecomin’ A new year means we get to provide a new list showcasing some of our favorite Disney World offerings! For this one, we’re providing a deep-dive into which restaurants the DFB team agrees are WORTH investing in for upcoming vacations. We have a lot of fun making these, so hopefully you have just as much fun sitting back and learning about ALL the different “must try” options around the Walt Disney World Resort property! This is a big one, so without further ado, let’s get right into it! New And Noteworthy GEO-82 In 2025, we said “hey-there, hi-there, ho-there,” to 3 different spots. The first was Geo-82 in EPCOT, which opened back on June 4th, 2025. This spot is a sophisticated adults-only lounge tucked away inside the base of Spaceship Earth. After you get off the ride, and you’re about to exit the Project Tomorrow area, you’ll find the entrance for GEO illuminated in a golden hue to your right. Inside GEO 82 GEO’s cocktail menu is stacked with choices that feel genuinely unique. The zero-proof cocktails also get their due here — and while they may be a lot more limited, the ones that are available have been clearly designed for the adults who are tired of theme park mocktails having some sort of sugary lemonade base, giving guests a more grown-up beverage option while still holding off on the booze. Strawberry and Coconut ‘Right Hand’ The food menu leans toward small plates, with flavors that borrow from upscale global cuisine. Keep in mind that you WILL need to make Advance Dining Reservations for GEO-82, AND your group members will need to be at least 21+ years of age to enter. The Beak and Barrel The Beak and Barrel over at Magic Kingdom opened on August 29th, 2025, and — Much like GEO-82 — this is another lounge that does require advance dining reservations. But UNLIKE GEO, it’s a lounge that ALL AGES can enjoy. The Beak and Barrel The Beak and Barrel is themed around the Pirates of the Caribbean ride and movie franchise — and, as the story goes, legendary pirate rumrunner, Captain Meridian “Merry” Goldwyn, has set up this “lively pirate pub” while her first mate, Rummy, keeps an eye on everything from his roost near the top of the bar. The Beak and Barrel The menu includes cocktails and pub-like light bites, including chips and dips, corn griddle cakes, and the Kraken’s Catch (which is a drink that includes grilled octopus tentacles). Kraken’s Catch Disney has a 2-drink limit at their bars and lounges, but The Beak and Barrel’s cocktails are pretty strong, so one might be more than enough. Don’t say we didn’t warn you… Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina If you decide to pay Disney’s partnering hotels — Swan and Dolphin — a visit, then you’ll have the chance to eat at their new Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina restaurant, which opened on July 26th, 2025. Bourbon Steak The restaurant is open nightly from 5 PM to 11 PM, offering a reimagined modern take on the quintessential American steakhouse with premium cuts of beef and seafood infused with global flavors, along with decadent signature desserts, and world-class beverage offerings. 10-oz Center Cut Filet Mignon at Bourbon Steak The Bourbon Steak Lounge also serves “handcrafted cocktails, fine wines and rare spirits.” Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs Time to dip a little bit further into the past — back to the second half of 2024 — when Disney’s Boardwalk Inn started releasing some real restaurant BANGERS on their hotel scene. First, there was the Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs stand — which we ORIGINALLY tried over in Disneyland before it was introduced to the Disney World bubble. Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs Blue Ribbon serves hand-dipped Corn Dogs, and while, yeah, you CAN get a classic corn dog here with no bells and whistles, the fun part about this place is getting the more unique Corn Dogs. We’re talking Pickle Dogs, Mexican Street Dogs, and a not-so-little something called the Golden Dragon — which is a corn dog rolled in Panko Bread Crumbs, and served with Sriracha Mayo and Sweet Thai Chili. Mexican Street Corn Dog We LOVE the deep-fried Hawaiian roll here — which are Hawaiian Rolls fried, then covered in Cinnamon Sugar and Sweetened Condensed Milk. The Cake Bake Shop Boardwalk Inn ALSO opened The Cake Bake Shop at the end of 2024, which — straight up — has it all. The Cake Bake Shop It’s got breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It’s got an attached grab-and-go bakery. It’s got an afternoon tea service. It’s got a champagne bar. It’s got MASSIVE cakes. It’s got a GLITTER DRAGON MASCOT. Caramel Popcorn Chocolate Cake And if you ever find yourself having trouble getting a reservation here through the My Disney Experience app, try the OpenTable website instead — because THEY might have some more tables saved back for ya! Wailulu Bar and Grill Wailulu Bar and Grill — over at Polynesian Village’s NEW DVC Island Tower — has really won us over in ways we REALLY weren’t expecting. This casual walk-up pool bar and grill shows off gorgeous views of Seven Seas Lagoon and Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom, while also featuring an all-day menu for lunch and dinner. That being said, specialty coffee and on-the-go morning pastries are also available during breakfast. Bar On the lunch and dinner menu, you can grab things like Sweet Potato Hummus and Spiced Ham Musubi, as well as more substantial eats, including Sticky Pork Ribs and Poke Bowls. But the Wayfinder Burger is what we keep coming back here for. Wayfinder Burger The Wayfinder Burger is made with Two Pressed Patties, American Cheese, Onion Jam, and Volcano Sauce on a Sweet Bun. The beef is SO fresh with a homemade burger taste instead of the usual hockey puck/school cafeteria burger taste that you might find at some of Disney’s other quick service locations. Paddy’s Bar He’s just a li’l guy, but Paddy’s Bar — right outside Raglan Road — opened in Spring 2025, and gives you a cozy outdoor space to sit down and pick up one of the 12 beers on tap, or something else from the full bar. Paddy’s Bar The Perch Over at the Grand Floridian lobby, the new The Perch bar is a birdcage-inspired lounge that debuted at the end of 2025. The birdcage part is very important, since it replaced the resort’s iconic birdcage decor that used to be here. The Perch Now, the reimagined birdcage serves up drinks, too. The Perch 1900 Park Fare After years of being MIA post-2020 closures, 1900 Park Fare in Grand Floridian Resort and Spa returned to us in 2024 in a whole new way. 1900 Park Fare While the character dining aspect and full buffet of options (including the CLASSIC chilled Strawberry Soup) remained the same, the dining room was COMPLETELY refreshed, AND the characters featured here switched up to include Aladdin (in his Prince Ali look), Cinderella, Mirabel from Encanto, and Tiana in her new outfit for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The famous strawberry soup! Level99 One last thing we want to mention before we move on is that there’s the POSSIBILITY that 2026 is gonna bring us another brand new restaurant that comes along with a MASSIVE interactive game. Disney Springs is currently adding Level99 in the old NBA Experience/Disney Quest building. This new offering is essentially a giant, futuristic arcade and entertainment center. Construction walls Along with all the challenges, obstacle courses, and escape rooms — Level 99 will also have a chef-crafted menu, including its award-winning, Detroit-style pizza. Less New, Still Noteworthy Now, if you haven’t been to Disney World recently, then you’re bound to find even MORE restaurants that are still new to you. Roundup Rodeo BBQ Over at Hollywood Studios, Roundup Rodeo BBQ opened over in Toy Story Land and is a fully immersive (and ULTRA COLORFUL) western-style themed restaurant designed to make you really feel part of the Toy Story gang. Everywhere you look, you’ll find hidden details and nods to some of your favorite Toy Story characters. Roundup Rodeo BBQ If you’re hungry, this is the place to be in Hollywood Studios! The barbecue eats are served up family-style, which means the endless entrees and sides will be delivered to your table for you to split amongst your group. And if you ever need a refill on a particular item, all you’ve gotta do is ask! That’s a LOT of food eet by Maneet Chauhan Towards the very end of 2023, Disney Springs actually gave us not one, but TWO new restaurants to enjoy. The first was eet by Maneet Chauhan — which is an Indian quick-service celebrity chef restaurant located close to Earl of Sandwich and Rainforest Cafe that serves up “traditional flavor with modern flair.” Monster Mein Summer House on the Lake And the second restaurant — Summer House on the Lake — is a sit-down meal that reminds us of Cake Bake Shop in a way, because it has that “jack of all trades” feel to it. Summer House on the Lake in Disney Springs You’ve got lunch and dinner here. You’ve got weekend brunch options. You’ve got on-the-go breakfast. You’ve got the attached Cookie Bar bakery. You’ve got THREE different bars. AND you’ve got a rosé cart featuring the restaurant’s signature Summer House rosé! The truffle fries! Fully-Immersive This next set of restaurants might not be new, but that sure doesn’t mean they lack personality. Disney World is good at not just creating restaurants, but creating an experience where you feel just as much a part of the story as the dining room and servers themselves. Be Our Guest Restaurant If you’re looking for a royal castle immersive setting, you’ll want to book reservations for either Be Our Guest Restaurant OR Cinderella’s Royal Table, both in Magic Kingdom. Be Our Guest is a prix-fixe dining experience — meaning you’ll choose one appetizer, entree, and dessert from a list of options, but no matter which ones you choose, you’ll pay a set price for your whole meal. The Grand Ballroom in Be Our Guest Restaurant The menu consists of French-inspired cuisine — but the REAL reason you dine here is because you get to dine INSIDE Beast’s castle (straight outta the Beauty and the Beast animated film). Blooming Rose Cinderella’s Royal Table While Be Our Guest can book up fairly quickly, it’s really Cinderella’s Royal Table that you’ll want to be prioritizing advance dining reservations for right when they open up 60 days before your visit… Because those dining room seats fill up FAST. Cinderella’s Royal Table Cinderella’s Royal Table is Magic Kingdom’s most popular restaurant, but it’s also THE most expensive of the bunch. We’re talking a prix-fixe price of $76 per adult for breakfast and $89 per adult for lunch and dinner. Braised Beef The price and demand continue to be high for this restaurant — even after all this time — because it’s one of the few ways that you can actually go inside Cinderella Castle (besides going to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique or being invited by Disney to stay in the Cinderella Castle Dream Suite). Ariel at Cinderella’s Royal Table It’s also popular because it’s a character dining experience featuring quite a few fan-favorite Disney Princesses. Akershus Royal Banquet Hall If you miss your window of opportunity to book a reservation for Cinderella’s Royal Table, the only other restaurant that currently offers an all-princess character meal is Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in EPCOT — which is significantly easier to secure reservations for and STILL gives you a royal setting to dine in (just not inside THE Cinderella Castle). Belle at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall Regardless, Akershus is still a solid alternative (at a slightly cheaper price point, too)! Breakfast at Akershus Skipper Canteen If you thought Beak and Barrel was really neat in the way they manage to expand a classic Disney attraction’s storyline, you might also want to try Skipper Canteen while you’re in the area, too! Skipper Canteen Mess Hall Skipper Canteen extends the story of the Jungle Cruise attraction, but not in a Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson live-action movie way. More in a way that provides you with an adventurous dining environment and LOTS of punny twists. The lore behind the restaurant is that it all started as a tropical headquarters that allowed skippers to rest before their next adventure. Other tables The Skipper Canteen menu gets a bit more adventurous than your typical American and theme park fare. Skipper Canteen in Magic Kingdom Expect to find appetizers, entrees, and desserts inspired by African, Asian, and Latin cuisine — in addition to a fun selection of specialty cocktails, beer, and wine, too. Shiki-Sai Sushi Izakaya Wanna feel immersed in culture? Shiki-Sai Sushi Izakaya in EPCOT is the place for you! This Japan Pavilion restaurant features a “festive dining experience in a shareable Izakaya-style.” Shiki-Sai “Izakaya” menus typically feature small dishes, and that’s also the case here at Shiki-Sai. The menu includes items like sushi and teppan, as well as an open sushi bar and grill. Or if you REALLY feel like going all-out with your group, you can get that MASSIVE $300 sushi boat – which holds enough sushi and sashimi to feed 4-6 people. Sushi Boat And be on the lookout for brand new items featured throughout the year, since the menu tends to change and represent different Japanese seasonal festivals! Biergarten Biergarten — over in EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion — is a German buffet where you can celebrate Oktoberfest all year long, all while enjoying the lively entertainment within its open dining room. Biergarten San Angel Inn Restaurante San Angel Inn Restaurante — over in EPCOT’s Mexico Pavilion — is the restaurant that’s actually INSIDE the Mexico pyramid, tucked away next to the Gran Fiesta Tour boat ride. San Angel Inn The restaurant also serves a number of signature drinks, some of which can also be found at the neighboring La Cava del Tequila. Though let’s be real here. If we want a good marg done up RIGHT, we’re hightailing it on over to La Cava and putting our name on its walk-up waitlist. Those folks know how to make some of the BEST margs we’ve ever had. Baja Tacos de Pescado Space 220 EPCOT can also immerse you in SPACE CULTURE, too! Space 220 is a futuristic restaurant that’ll take ya on a dining adventure 220 miles above EPCOT. For lunch and dinner, you’ll choose from a multi-course prix fixe menu (with two courses for lunch and three for dinner). Space 220 Dining Room If you don’t want to pay $55 per adult for lunch or $79 per adult for dinner, we’d recommend making reservations for the Space 220 Lounge or checking to see if there’s walk-up availability for the bar. You’ll get an à la carte menu of limited “space bites” to choose from instead (so you’ll STILL get the whole immersive experience minus the REALLY expensive price point). Like works of art Oga’s Cantina Speaking of Space Culture and creative drinks that’re both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, Oga’s Cantina over in Hollywood Studios is a spaceport bar found in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, where you can sip on a bubbling brew and listen to beats provided by a DJ droid. Oga’s Cantina Whether you order a boozy or non-boozy beverage at Oga’s, each drink features unique ingredients using “otherworldly methods.” Nysillin and Bubbles with Brub Berry Essence 50’s Prime Time Cafe For a step back in time (back to the ’50s), Hollywood Studios has TWO really fun time capsule-style restaurants. 50s Prime Time Cafe is a restaurant that serves home-cooked-style meals in a setting that makes you feel like you’ve just stepped onto the TV set of a 1950s family sitcom. Dining room This place is adorned with wallpaper, TVs, retro couches, shelves filled with knick-knacks, and servers who like to call themselves your “cousins” who are known for cracking jokes, teasing you for not eating your vegetables, and continually keeping you on your toes all meal long while also keeping your elbows off the table. A Sampling of Mom’s Favorite Recipes Sci-Fi Dine-In Restaurant Then, over at Sci-Fi Dine-In Restaurant, day automatically turns to night… kind of like San Angel Inn! But instead of this one being set in a night market in Mexico, it’s set in a retro drive-in movie parking lot where you can eat your diner-style burgers and milkshakes in a convertible car while watching cartoons and cheesy black-and-white sci-fi movie trailers. Car tables Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto Similar to The Beak and Barrel, Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto over at Polynesian Village Resort is a small, secluded bar with a BIG interactive personality. Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto What drinks you order will determine what special effects and zany antics trigger throughout the room. It’s a whole lot of fun here, and there are a variety of bites to choose from, too, but make sure you put your name on that walk-up waitlist PRONTO (like, RIGHT when the lounge opens at 3 PM). We got the Black Pearl! Otherwise, you might have to settle for Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace (which is the outdoor portion of the lounge that’s still fun and has the exact same menu, just no immersive elements constantly keeping you entertained). Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue If you’re looking for a good ol’ dinner/theater experience where there’s the possibility that you might get called onstage for your big Disney acting debut, Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue over at Fort Wilderness is the place to be. Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue Hoop-Dee-Doo takes place in a huge barn where you’ll be able to watch musical numbers, dance routines, and funny gags happen throughout the night, all while you chow down on an endless family-style meal of American favorites like fried chicken, smoked BBQ pork ribs, seasonal vegetables and salad, baked beans, fresh baked corn bread, and strawberry shortcake. Let’s dig in! If you’re 21 and older, this is the ONLY place on Disney property that also offers unlimited draft beer, wine, and sangria — as well as unlimited soft drinks for ALL ages. Character Dining (Where The Food Is Actually Good) Character dining in Disney World gives you the chance to eat a bunch of food while meeting some of your favorite Disney characters in the process. The only issue with that is, sometimes, it feels like you’ve gotta sacrifice the food quality to get that one-on-one character interaction. But that’s not the case with all of Disney’s character dining experiences. Tusker House Tusker House over in Animal Kingdom is one of the BEST examples of character dining that’s fun AND delicious. So fun! The buffet items served during breakfast, lunch, and dinner are flavorful and interesting, combining both American and African-inspired cuisine. And during your meal, characters like Donald Duck, Mickey, Goofy, and Daisy will come around to meet and greet with ya while all dressed up in their Safari best! Our first plate! Garden Grill For endless family-style eats, Garden Grill over in EPCOT earns itself a gold star in the character dining category. Garden Grill lives on the second story of the Land Pavilion (the same building where you’ll find Soarin and Living with the Land on the first floor). During your meal, the whole dining room slowly rotates so you can get new views of the murals and areas of the Living with the Land boat ride happening directly below you. Garden Grill Don’t stress out TOO much about the spinning if you’re someone who gets easily queasy. The dining room rotates SO slowly that you probably won’t even notice it. So you should be able to walk around and eat your meal without any issues. Garden Grill spread When you’re not busy eyeballing the change of scenery, Chip and Dale, Mickey, and Pluto will come up to your table to say hi — probably more than once per visit. Mickey at Garden Grill As far as the food here is concerned, there are two all-you-care-to-enjoy platters to choose from: The standard Harvest Feast has cornbread, backyard grilled steak, rotisserie-roasted turkey, and mac and cheese (with little Goldfish crackers usually sprinkled on top), while the Plant-based Harvest Feast has plant-based smoked “sausage,” pulled “pork” with southern BBQ sauce, and a farmer’s seasonal crumble with plant-based vanilla ice cream. Topolino’s Terrace For less endless eats and more of a prix-fixe dining experience, Topolino’s Terrace over at the Riviera has character dining during BREAKFAST ONLY. Topolino’s Terrace Topolino’s Terrace has a light Italian theme with elegant decor and impressive chandeliers. Mickey And while this place is more of an elevated/sophisticated dining experience during dinner, the breakfast character dining experience — called “Breakfast à la Art” — stays true to the artistic theming featured throughout the WHOLE resort, since Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy will be all dressed up in their artsy-fartsy attire. Tramonto Cocktail Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White And since *art* is apparently a big deal in the character dining world, let’s check out Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White over in Wilderness Lodge. Storybook Dining at Artist Point Opposite of Toppolino’s, Artist Point is a character dining experience that’s ONLY open during dinner and takes place in a room filled with big trees, twinkling lights, and 2 out of 7 hard-working dwarfs. Dopey! Here, you’ll be able to meet Snow White, Dopey, and Grumpy at your table — but, towards the end of your meal, you’ll be invited to meet the Evil Queen at her designated photo spot. The Evil Queen at Story Book Dining with Snow White Again, Artist Point is a prix- fixe meal where you’ll pick an appetizer, entree, and dessert. But no matter which options you choose, all of the items are delightfully on theme and presented in a way that brings the story of Snow White to life in culinary fashion. Magic Mirror’s Slow-Braised Pork Shank Walk-Up Lounges And Bars In case Beak and Barrel and Geo 82 didn’t already make it clear, Disney is in a lounge and bar phase. While select lounges require reservations (like the newest ones we mentioned before), many are walk-up availability ONLY. And if you go to a nice restaurant that usually requires reservations and see that it has an attached lounge, you might be able to still experience the lounge’s menu for — possibly — a way cheaper price point than the main dining room will offer. La Cava Del Tequila This little EPCOT bar over in the Mexico Pavilion serves rare tequilas and unique margaritas, as well as a few appetizing ‘tapas style’ snacks like Chips and Queso. Art-garita 2025 Nomad Lounge You can find Nomad Lounge right next to Animal Kingdom’s Signature restaurant, Tiffins. Here, you’ll be able to order hand-crafted cocktails, as well as non-alcoholic specialty drinks and small plates like the Tiffins Bread Service and gluten-free churros. The bread service came with a variety of foods Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge at Hollywood Studios is literally attached to the Hollywood Brown Derby restaurant. There’s a full bar outside where you can walk up and order from a full drink menu (with boozy and non-boozy drinks alike). Additionally, there’s a full list of appetizers, entrees, and enhancements, including things like charcuterie boards, filet mignon, and that famous Cobb Salad of theirs. The Brown Derby Lounge Sanaa Lounge Sanaa Lounge is a cozy spot just inside the entrance to the main Sanaa Table Service restaurant featured at Animal Kingdom Lodge (on the Kidani Village side). This is a place with dim lighting and cozy banquettes where you can enjoy specialty beverages, wine flights, and signature appetizers — including Sanaa’s Indian-style Bread Service. Sanaa Lounge California Grill Lounge The California Grill Lounge is a great way to experience the much-loved signature restaurant inside the Contemporary Resort — and the Magic Kingdom fireworks view out on its private patio — without a reservation. You’ll still be able to enjoy a drink, fresh sushi, flatbread, or anything else from California Grill’s full menu without paying the signature prix-fixe dinner prices for it. The lounge area Steakhouse 71 Lounge The Steakhouse 71 Lounge — also over at the Contemporary Resort — features its own unique menu of small plates and drinks that you can swing by and order even without a Steakhouse 71 reservation. Lounge Bites include items like PB&J Chicken Wings, the Bacon and Eggs appetizer, and the ultra cheesy stack burger. The lounge! Dahlia Lounge You’ll find Dahlia Lounge in the Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs, right up next to the Toledo — Tapas, Steak, & Seafood restaurant. Dahlia serves tapas, specialty cocktails crafted by mixologists, and Spanish cavas spotlighted on the wine list. Dahlia Lounge Three Bridges Bar and Grill Three Bridges Bar and Grill is a casual restaurant in Coronado Springs that serves upscale, Spanish-inspired bar food like queso, braised pork tacos, other shared plates, and burgers. And then there’s the beverage menu, which features specialty cocktails and sangria that can be ordered by the pitcher. Sangria Flight Enchanted Rose Lounge Enchanted Rose Lounge over at the Grand Floridian is inspired by the live-action Beauty and the Beast film. This is a standalone lounge where you can order gourmet bites like seasonal flatbreads and Housemade Truffle Fries, as well as a variety of grand cocktails, featured martinis, and non-alcoholic teas and coffees. Enchanted Rose Lounge Citricos Lounge Citricos Lounge is located on the outskirts of the Citricos restaurant inside the Grand Floridian Resort. While there’s not a ton of space for the lounge beyond a few seated areas and a nearby marble-topped bar, the dining menu here is still quite robust, sporting first-course dishes, entrées, and a few enhancements. There are also two FULL beverage menus to choose from: One menu featuring specialty cocktails, zero-proof cocktails, hard ciders, and beer, and one with a full wine and champagne library. Cítricos Lounge Geyser Point Bar And Grill Geyser Point Bar and Grill — located near the Copper Creek Springs Pool at Wilderness Lodge — offers open-air (yet shaded) dining, a fireplace for cool evenings, and waterfront views… all in one rustic/cozy setting. Geyser Point Bar & Grill The Featured Cocktail list at the lounge portion of this place has beverages unique to Geyser Point that specifically feature spirits from Northwest distilleries (to keep with the theming of the Resort). Summer Flight You’ll also be able to order appetizers like Cheese and Charcuterie boards, as well as full entrees like the popular Bison Cheeseburger. The Crew’s Cup Lounge Located right next to Yachtsman Steakhouse at Yacht Club Resort, the Crew’s Cup Lounge is a great place to get a bite and a drink in a nice, relaxing atmosphere. In addition to specialty cocktails and a full bar, there’s also a food menu served during evening hours — which is where you’ll find the glorious PRIME RIB SLIDERS. Oh, and there’s also a glass window here where you’ll be able to peek inside the steakhouse kitchen! Prime Rib Sliders Tutto Gusto Nestled next to Tutto Italia Ristorante in EPCOT’s Italy pavilion, Tutto Gusto is a cozy 96-seat bar themed like an Italian wine cellar. Not only does this spot have 200+ types of Italian wines for you to choose from, but it’s also got several quality small plates (or “antipasti”) to pair along with whatever bottle you choose. Tutto Italia Bar Wine Bar George Wine Bar George has hundreds of different wines for you to choose from. And if that overwhelms you, don’t sweat it! The servers here are trained to help find the perfect wine for you — so just tell them some of your flavor preferences, and they’ll introduce you to (possibly) your new favorite thing to drink. Welcome in The food here ranges from small plates (like hummus and crispy Mac and cheese bites) to charcuterie boards to family-style plates. Seating is both indoors and outdoors, but outdoors is our preferred option because you can people-watch shoppers from that upstairs balcony area — which is a show in and of itself. Homecomin’ Shine Bar and Social Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ at Disney Springs is already one of our favorite spots to grab good ol’ southern comfort foods — like Art’s Famous Fried Chicken and the Church Lady Deviled Eggs. But back in 2020, Homecomin’ decided to up its game and add on an open-air patio called the Shine Bar and Social. Shine Bar Shine Bar is VERY similar to the Homecomin’ restaurant itself. You can still order off the main menu and enjoy that juicy, tender fried chicken of your dreams. But the prime focus at the Shine Bar is the “Shine on Tap” — where you can grab a moonshine-based cocktail to enjoy in their outdoor seating area or on the go. Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar over in Disney Springs is a lounge based around the oft-trusted pilot for Indiana Jones. This travel and adventure-inspired place serves uniquely themed cocktails and tapas, like the Air Pirate’s Cargo Loaded Pretzel, the Snakebite Sliders (“Why did it have to be snakes?”), the vodka-based Reggie’s Revenge Cocktail, and SO MUCH MORE. Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar If you visit around the holiday seasons, Jock Lindsey’s gets some fun seasonal overlays for its dining room, as well as some EXCLUSIVE limited-time menu options, too! Under-The-Radar Gems Listen, it’s hard to shout out all the restaurants we want to shout out. After all, Disney’s got hundreds to choose from. BUT since the DFB team has been working on updating the DFB Guide to Walt Disney World Dining lately (which goes IN-DEPTH talking about EVERY SINGLE RESTAURANT and SNACK STAND in ALL of Disney World), we came across these particular restaurants and thought… Wow. It’s been a while since we REALLY talked about these gems. And that needs to be fixed ASAP. Boma Boma — over at Animal Kingdom Lodge — is a buffet-style restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Lunch and dinner here serve lots of African and American-inspired items — like pita with dipping sauces, peanut and coconut rice, Durban chicken, tamarind BBQ ribs, and seasonal soups. Boma Boma also has one of our favorite breakfast spreads property-wide, featuring morning options like Simba waffles, turkey bobotie, omelets, deviled eggs with smoked salmon, scrambled eggs with spinach/feta/and tomato, AND complimentary bottomless POG juice (which stands for Passion fruit, Orange, and Guava juice, if you’re not familiar with that little bit of Disney lingo). Dinner at Boma Tambu Lounge Right next to ‘Ohana, you can pull up a chair at the attached Tambu Lounge, which has a variety of fun drinks on offer like the Lapu Lapu served in a pineapple and the Backscratcher that comes with a LEGIT wooden backscratcher. So much food! Plus, you can order a variety of bites that come straight from the ‘Ohana kitchen, including off-menu items like the Ohana noodles and Ohana Bread Pudding. Kona Cafe Kona Cafe got a big makeover not too long ago to modernize it a bit, so now you get to eat in a dining room filled with bright colors, wood accents, tropical details, and natural lighting. Kona Cafe at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort The menu here features items like sushi rolls, poke bowls, bahn mi sandwiches, and if you come here for breakfast, you’ll actually get a pretty unique assortment of stuff beyond your typical bacon and eggs — like the macadamia nut pancakes, tonga toast, and a little something called a Loco Moco (made with eggs, Chorizo Gravy, Hamburger Patty, Rice, and Pico De Gallo). Capt. Cook’s Don’t overlook Capt Cook’s quick service here, either! This is one of the more unique quick service restaurants inside the Disney resorts — serving Island Favorites like pan asian noodles, Thai coconut meatballs, pulled pork nachos, and a Hawaiian Flatbread. Hawaiian Flatbread If you come here for breakfast, you can get the same sort of Tonga Toast that you can get from Kona Cafe, only CHEAPER, since the version at Capt. Cook’s doesn’t come topped with the same strawberry compote. Sebastian’s Bistro The food at Caribbean Beach? Is getting so much better that we’re gonna go ahead and slap Sebastian’s Bistro on this hidden gem list to give that restaurant a pat on the back for “most improved.” Sebastian’s Bistro So the vibe in Sebastian’s Bistro is Caribbean, but not OVERLY tropical, if that makes any sense. The colors are mostly neutrals, creams, and whites, with pops of color from the artwork. The menu is prix fixe, so you’ll receive starters, one Taste of the Caribbean entree (of your choice), and the House-made Coconut-Pineapple Bread Pudding for dessert. (Same recipe as the one served over at ‘Ohana) Coconut-Pineapple Bread Pudding But get this…Sebastian’s is gonna give you the CHEAPEST prix-fixe dining on property at $39 per adult. All that food for $39? Unfortunately, it’s even hard to find that at the grocery store nowadays. Banana Cabana If your whole vibe is “steel drums, palm trees, and mai tais, then Banana Cabana is your place. Since this is a pool bar, you can always walk up and order a tropical drink to go. Banana Cabana Or you can choose to stick around, order a drink, and get some Caribbean-inspired food, like a Cuban sandwich, or the coconut shrimp, or the grilled chicken wings with your choice of topping — either Mango Barbecue, Guava Buffalo, or Jamaican Jerk. The Surprisingly Affordable Sure, Disney’s got a reputation for being an expensive vacation getaway, and its recent wave of price hikes sure didn’t help matters any. However, Disney DOES have several quick services that you might find are not only affordable, but pretty stinkin’ tasty, too. In fact, some of these quick services might have comparable prices to what you’d find at your local food joints back home. Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie is a charming little bakery tucked into the back of EPCOT’s France pavilion, serving up items like decadent pastries, fresh sandwiches, cozy soups, and breakfast (or snacktime) quiches. Price ranges (for sandwiches and specialty items specifically) are $6 to $12. Jambon Beurre Regal Eagle Smokehouse Regal Eagle Smokehouse is another fast-casual restaurant inside EPCOT that celebrates the well-known regions of American BBQ while also serving up craft brews on tap. Price ranges between $13 and $19. Loaded Burnt End Fries Columbia Harbour House Columbia Harbour House gives you the chance to enjoy New England-inspired surf-and-turf over at Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square. Prices here range from $11 to $19. Columbia Harbour House Flame Tree BBQ Flame Tree BBQ is a popular counter service spot in Animal Kingdom featuring barbecue classics. Prices here are between $12 and $19. Pulled Pork Fries Satu’li Canteen Satu’li Canteen — also in Animal Kingdom — has customizable bowls and Cheeseburger Pods, along with unique drinks and desserts for lunch and dinner. Prices range from $14 to $19. Cheeseburger Steamed Pod ABC Commissary ABC Commissary in Hollywood Studios is themed as a simple commissary for a production studio, and has a quick service menu featuring entrees with an international flair (like street tacos, Mediterranean salads, and chicken sandwiches). The price range is $11 to $14. ABC Commissary Backlot Express — also in Hollywood Studios — offers classic counter service entrees like burgers, sandwiches, salads, and chicken strips with a side of plastic cheese sauce for $1 more. Wookiee Cookie This is also where you’ll find the controversial Wookie Oatmeal Cookie Sandwich (and maybe a few other Star Wars-themed desserts and drinks as well). Prices here range from $11 to $16. Woody’s Lunch Box Woody’s Lunch Box keeps us in Hollywood Studios for a bit longer! This Toy Story-themed counter service window serves fun twists on American dishes — including a BBQ Brisket Melt, Totchos (AKA: tater tot nachos), and seasonal Lunch Box Tarts. Prices range between $11 and $14. Woody’s Lunch Box Full Spread Earl of Sandwich Earl of Sandwich brings us over to the Disney Springs shopping district with its variety of reasonably priced hot and cold sandwiches, smoothies, lemonade, and prepared “Grab & Go” items. Prices start at $9 and go to $15. Nashville Hot Chicken The Polite Pig The Polite Pig at Disney Springs features Michelin-recognized Modern Barbecue in a variety of wood-fired smoked and grilled items. Plus, ALL drinks are served on tap. (And a few of the limited-time drinks might even come with a special little rubber animal guy on top!) Price ranges between $18 and $22 (+ a $44 option if you get the Butcher Board that serves 2). Southern Pig Sandwich Morimoto Asia Street Food Morimoto Asia Street Food — also at Disney Springs — gives you the chance to try some of Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto’s Pan-Asian cuisine, similar to what you’ll find featured at the Morimoto Asia Signature Restaurant… just in a quick Counter Service setting instead! Morimoto Asia Street Food Spread Prices range from $5 to $18. Date Night It’s just you and your hunny, celebrating a romantic evening of being in love and being in Disney. Doesn’t get much better, right? If 2026 is the year that you and your partner will be taking that big trip together, here are a few solid restaurant date night options for you to consider, from casual to ultra fancy. Casual: Splitsville Luxury Lanes Who says bowling alley food has to be boring? You’ll find Splitsville’s massive multi-story building located within the West Side area of Disney Springs. It’s right next to a few other popular Disney Springs stops like AMC Theaters (so you can keep the date night fun going) and Everglazed Donuts (for an end-of-the-night dessert)! Splitsville Splitsville’s menu might best be described as upscale pub grub. Here you’ll find an extensive menu of drinks, including a pineapple Dole whip piña colada, as well as popular dishes to chow down on like burgers, pizza, sushi, and more! Splitsville sushi and cocktails! Contrary to what you might initially think, you don’t have to bowl to dine here, and you don’t have to dine to bowl here! You can choose either activity or both. However, it’s important to make sure you know which experiences you’re making a reservation for because both dining and bowling are booked separately. Less Casual, But Still Relaxed: The Edison The Edison over at Disney Springs makes you feel like you’ve been transported to a lavish “Industrial Gothic” 1920s power plant with a menu featuring classic American food presented in modern ways. The Edison But really, the Edison is most well-known for its drink options! You can grab an old-timey soda, a non-alcoholic beverage, or a high roller cocktail. Strawberry Fields Forever If you REALLY wanna impress your date, you might want to attend one of the many special events that The Edison hosts throughout the year, including their cocktail and mixology classes. You can visit The Edison website to see what might be available during your trip. Getting Fancier: Le Cellier Steakhouse To find Le Cellier inside EPCOT, you’ll need to walk through the gardens of the Canada Pavilion until you stumble upon the cave that is, indeed, the keeper of this signature restaurant. Le Cellier Le Cellier has a really distinct atmosphere, with dark molding and dim lighting to create an intimate and romantic atmosphere — making it a great spot for a special meal out with your significant other. It’s pretty dark in here! At the top of the menu, you’ll find a huge selection of appetizers, like Artisan Cheese and Charcuterie Plates, and the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup. But when it comes to entrees, the steakhouse cuts really aim to impress here and don’t feel like you’re just ordering some rinky-dink overcooked steak inside a theme park. Instead, they come out juicy, flavorful, slightly charred on the outside, and cooked JUST the way you requested. It’s time to eat! And since this is Canada we’re talking about here, there’s also a selection of Poutines you can order for a more traditional Canadian dining experience. ULTRA FANCY: Victoria and Albert’s There’s SO MUCH to talk about when it comes to Victoria & Albert’s — but here’s the quick version (for time’s sake). Victoria & Albert’s has been recognized by the Michelin Guide. This Grand Floridian signature dining experience is truly THE place for the luxurious meal of your dreams. But don’t just take our word for it. This restaurant has actually received the AAA five-diamond rating, along with several other accolades, securing its prestige. ©Disney Dinner is served via multiple courses over the course of a few hours. And how your meal plays out will all be determined by which room you book: The Dining Room, The Queen Victoria Room, or the Chef’s Table. Each room has its own menu ranging from 7 to 10 courses and its own prices, starting at $295 per person. Waygu Pastrami So if you’re REALLY aiming to impress your partner in crime, this is the place to take them to. Just make sure you both pack some nice clothes for dinner, since there is a dress code you’ll have to adhere to while you eat here. Brunching Around The Disney Springs It’s like “rocking around the Christmas tree,” but instead of eating a late morning meal inside a theme park’s shopping district. Several of the Disney Springs restaurants have specialty weekend brunch offerings that you might like even MORE than the main entrees available throughout the week. Raglan Road Raglan Road has The Rollicking Raglan Brunch served on Saturdays and Sundays — which means you’ll have the option to order from an exclusive brunch section while also getting to see riverdancing/live Irish music up on the main stage while you dine. All This… And Eggs On Top On the brunch menu, you’ll find options like pancakes, avocado toast, and eggs Benedict — but they’ll ALL be elevated thanks to unique ingredients that make them way different from your classic IHOP experience. Plus, most of the entrees and apps have funny names that’ll make you giggle on the inside while reading them to yourself. The Boathouse The nautical-themed Boathouse restaurant — which is usually known for its signature surf and turf (and Duck Duck Razz cocktail) — has a unique brunch entertainment option from 11 AM to 2 PM on the weekends. ©The Boathouse During the Captain’s Sing-a-Long Brunch, you’ll be able to sing along (and request songs for) the dueling piano players as you nosh on exclusive morning options like crabcakes benedict, chorizo breakfast tacos, and the Biscoff cookie waffle. BRUNCHIN’ at The BOATHOUSE Not every room has the dueling piano music, but if your room is lacking in the ivory-tickling department, you’ll still have music playing in your dining area that’s lighter and goes along with the boathouse theme. Homecomin’ Homecomin’ might not have the same live brunch entertainment that Boathouse and Raglan Road offer up, but what it lacks in singing and dancing, it makes up for in limited-time weekend morning munches during the Rise and Shine Brunch. Homecomin’ Brunch options include good ol’ southern specialities such as (but not limited to) fried chicken and donuts, short rib hash, and a heaping of biscuits and gravy plates. There’s SO much to do around Disney World, more than just the parks and Disney Springs, if you can believe it! Winter Summerland Mini Golf You can also go golfing around Disney World, as well as take part in Mini Golf, if you’d like. However, if you’re in the parks this week and were planning on spending the day out at Winter Summerland Miniature Golf tomorrow, there’s something you need to know about its operating hours! This weekend, racers from all over the country are taking part in the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, which also causes road closures around the resort. Due to specific road closures around the area, Winter Summerland Miniature Golf will have a delayed opening on Sunday, January 11th. Instead of opening at 10 AM, it will open at 3 PM. Winter Summerland Mini Golf Usually, the course is open for a full twelve hours, from 10 AM to 10 PM, but with this change, the course will only be open for seven hours (as it will still close at 10 PM like normal). If you were planning to utilize the course in the afternoon/evening anyway, and don’t plan to spend more than a few hours there, this change likely won’t affect you too much. If you were planning to start off your day with mini golf, though, you may find that going another day when regular hours are in effect will be a better fit. There’s been a LOT of change in the aviation industry recently, and if you’ve had trouble keeping track, not to worry — that’s why we’re here! Southwest Planes at Orlando International Airport We’ve been keeping up with all the latest changes when it comes to flying, so you don’t have to. We’ve got the latest information on Real IDs and flying, Southwest’s seating changes, American Airlines’ changes to their rewards program, and more. If you’re flying with Southwest soon, it was announced back in September that the size of lithium batteries onboard would start on January 11th, which means that day has finally come. Starting tomorrow, January 11th, lithium batteries brought on board can not exceed 300 watt-hours. The change comes after a number of fires on planes, all caused by lithium batteries. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reported that there were 89 lithium-ion battery-related events on flights in 2024. Previously, Southwest implemented a rule that mobile charging devices must be visible when being used on a flight, and the use of these devices is prohibited when stored in carry-on bags or overhead bins. Southwest Airplanes Back on September 25th, wheelchair and scooter users began needing to remove the lithium batteries from their devices before boarding. At the time, Dave Hunt, Southwest’s Vice President of Safety and Security, said this was being implemented “to enhance safety and align with international standards, further protecting our customers and our crew members.” ©Southwest Airlines Looking for more recent travel news? If you’re as passionate about Disney World snacks as we are, we’ve got some AMAZING news for you! Spring Rolls!! In case we haven’t already made it clear, we LOVE snacking our way around Disney World! After years and years of trying all of the eats around the parks, we’ve got a shortlist of our favorite go-tos, some of which are harder to find than others. If you’ve been following us for a while, you probably know that one snack near the top of our list is the spring rolls from the Spring Roll Cart in Magic Kingdom. In fact, one of our only complaints is that we need MORE spring rolls around the parks…and we finally got our wish! It’s true, we’ve literally planned our day around snagging spring rolls from the Spring Roll Cart in Magic Kingdom! This unassuming spot near the entrance to Adventureland usually offers two different spring roll flavors. Pepperoni Pizza and Cheeseburger are often on the menu, but it’s not uncommon to see other seasonal flavors rotate in as well. YUMMM –Adventureland Spring Rolls As much as we ADORE these spring rolls (seriously, just about every flavor we’ve tried has been a huge hit!), our main complaint for years has been that we’d love to see this delicious snack pop up more places. Well, we finally got our wish when the new Popcorn and Snacks stand in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios recently opened with Pepperoni Spring Rolls on the menu! Pizza Planet Spring Rolls We tried the spring rolls (of course!) and LOVED them — they were nearly identical to the ones we’ve had in Magic Kingdom, just less greasy! And when we shared the news with our readers, it was clear that LOTS of you shared our enthusiasm for this amazing snack news! Samantha said, “YES give me the rolls,” which summed up our feelings perfectly. A look inside Katie also tried the new spring rolls and agreed that they were a winning addition to Hollywood Studios, “We had these yesterday and def were a favorite amongst kiddos and adults!” Pepperoni Spring Rolls We saw lots of people rejoicing that these fan favorites have made their way to another menu. Jessica said, “Yay! One of my favorite snacks at Disney!” If you’re craving some spring rolls on your next trip to Hollywood Studios, you can pick up these beauties at the new Popcorn and Snacks stand in Toy Story Land. Toy Story Land Popcorn and Snacks As usual, we’ll continue on our mission to try all of the must-have new snacks around Disney World (and check in on our old favorites to make sure they still hold up), so stay tuned to DFB for the latest food news! Exciting news out of Disney to start your day off on a super fun note — we just got a look at one of the newly refreshed scenes coming to Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin! ©Disney This attraction closed for a lengthy refurbishment back in August 2025 and is set to open in the spring of 2026. The refurbishment adds lots of refreshed elements to the ride, such as the ride vehicles and new cordless blasters, but we just got a look at what one of the final scenes of the ride will look like after its refurb! In a new video released by Walt Disney Imagineering on Instagram, we got a look at one of the final scenes of the ride and heard from two Imagineers about how it’s been changed. The biggest difference? Buzz has now been added to this final battle against Zurg! @waltdisneyimagineering on Instagram Brand new media is being installed for this Hyperspace scene, including Zurg releasing space mines that the riders can shoot to get more points. To create this scene inside the tunnel, Imagineers created a grid that was all flattened out to animate the scene on, but then, when it’s projected into the tunnel, it all looks how it should! @waltdisneyimagineering on Instagram It’s all looking incredible from the little bit we got to see in this quick video, and we can’t wait to ride the updated attraction ourselves later this year and experience it firsthand. @waltdisneyimagineering on Instagram That’s not all, though! We also got a look at an all-new scene coming to the attraction on Good Morning America, thanks to WDWMagic. The little green aliens are getting us ready to go into outer space — look how cute they are! @wdwmagic on YouTube Want to see the full clip? Check out the video below! Disney is building a brand-new Villains Land at Magic Kingdom! We’re so excited for the Disney Villains to have their spotlight. So many people are fans of the glamorous and mischievous characters, and now we get an entire land dedicated to their shenanigans. However, there is some concern about Disney, a very optimistic, bright, and happy brand, doing a dark, moody, and possibly scary(ish) land. Villains Land ©Disney Dark Universe recently opened at Epic Universe, Universal Orlando’s new theme park, so Villains Land may get compared to this new land, which could make people worry that Disney won’t be able to compete. But we’re not worried about it at all! We have faith and trust in Disney. Plus, we have evidence to back up our lack of concern. When people think about Disney and Disney parks, they often think of movies like Peter Pan, Frozen, and The Lion King, and rides like “it’s a small world,” Jungle Cruise, and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. Fans think about happy and cheerful experiences, or shows and movies where good always prevails. But that has not always been the case. “it’s a small world” There have been several instances where Disney has created successful dark and scary rides and experiences at its parks. For example, ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter was once an attraction at Magic Kingdom that was very intense. The experience was created by Disney and Lucasfilm (then a separate entity from Disney). It was a 4-D experience that was dark and scary, with hot breath, spit, and “blood” in your face. It was wild. via AllEars.net Alien Encounter eventually declined in popularity due to how intense and scary it was at a family theme park. It was eventually replaced by Stitch’s Great Escape, which also had its own level of scariness. Stitch’s Great Escape has also permanently closed at Magic Kingdom. ©Disney Stitch’s Great Escape Another example of an intense and scary experience Disney has created was the Cinderella Castle Mystery Tour at Tokyo Disneyland. This dark, horror tour took its idea from the unpopular movie The Black Cauldron. This experience was a walk-through tour of the castle’s underground. There was no warning that it was going to be scary, only subtle hints from the Magic Mirror, the further along you went. Portraits of Disney Princes and Princesses morphed into Disney Villains. Cinderella Castle in Tokyo Disneyland From flying axes to goblins to being chased by skeletons, this tour got more and more intense the longer you went on. Finally, you would come to the The Black Cauldon section where a hero was named and eventually would save the group. Yes, good did win over evil in this experience, but it was a heck of a time getting there. ©D23 Today, we still have dark and spooky rides at the Disney parks. Haunted Mansion variations are in every park around the world, and the Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios will certainly give many people a fright if they’ve never been on it before. Cheery and happy is what Disney does most often, but Disney can absolutely do dark and creepy, too. Tower of Terror At the same time, Magic Kingdom is absolutely a family theme park, and generally speaking, Disney is a family-friendly brand. That’s why we feel confident that they’ll be able to combine dark and spooky with light-hearted “evil” fun. Disney has had time to test things in the parks and fail. They have had time to try things and succeed. We feel like they have done the work to figure out what “spooky” elements work in the parks and what are simply too much for guests. A great example of what works is the new stage show at Hollywood Studios, Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After. Cruella in Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After Unfairly Ever After gets you rooting for the villains in a fun, upbeat way. Families are loving this Disney Villains show, and that’s why we think Villains Land will be a place for everyone. Disney is able to have Tower of Terror right next to Unfairly Ever After, and it works. Hopefully, we will see a mix of dark and scary with lighthearted, fun, and family-friendly experiences at Villains Land. If anyone can gracefully achieve this combination, it’s Disney. Maleficent in Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After Disney has had misses (which we feel they have learned from) and massive successes, so we’re confident that they’re going to do just fine creating Villains Land. Disney Villains are iconic, and if the company made them to be as horribly wonderful as they are, we believe they’ll be able to achieve a fun and fantastic land dedicated to them. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for us at Villains Land, so stick around at DFB for every update!
