Wine Bar George is set to open in a matter of days in Disney Springs! Wine Bar George — Coming Soon! Guests will be welcome to visit the wine bar starting at 5:00 pm on Saturday, May 19th. The next day, May 20th, the wine bar will begin operating for what will be its regular daily hours of 11:00 am to 2:00 am. On May 19, 2018, the doors will open at 5 p.m. and the first glass of wine will be poured at the grand opening of Wine Bar George, the latest addition to the dynamic food and beverage scene at Disney Springs. The following day, May 20, Wine Bar George will open at 11 a.m. for its normal daily service hours of 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. As we previously posted, the restaurant’s namesake, George Miliotes, is a Master Sommelier – one of only 249 in the world. Wine Bar George is the only wine bar in Florida owned by a Master Sommelier and will offer more than 130 selections by the ounce, glass, and bottle in a range of varietals, vintages, and prices. This 200-seat wine bar is centrally located at The Landing. Guests can enjoy indoor seating with ambience reminiscent of a winemaker’s home or enjoy the sights and sounds of Disney Springs on the terrace with its sweeping views of The Landing and the waterfront stage. Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort tend to jump on particular food trends and…never let go. Right now, it’s all about the Push Pop. The craze started slowly back in 2015 during Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival when France introduced the Peach Iced Tea ice pop. A Grown-Up Ice Pop Debuts at the Fleur de Lys Outdoor Kitchen in the France Pavilion Then France served the Ice Pop Pomme (an apple flavored alcoholic ice pop!) at that year’s Epcot Food and Wine Festival. That’s right, racers! Cruise on into this Route 66-inspired diner and fuel up on the amazing new menu. Starting today, you’ll find a brand-new lunch and dinner menu at Flo’s V8 Café in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure park. You’ll definitely want to make a pit stop to try these delicious dishes! Starting with the Pit Stop Classics, you’ll be saying “Ka-Chow!” when you try the amazing Ka-Cheeseburger. This 1/3lb angus beef patty comes served on a sesame seed bun with cheddar cheese, 1000 Island, and caramelized onions. If you’re looking to dine in style, then Ramone’s Low & Slow Club is for you with turkey breast, crispy bacon, avocado-bacon mayo, lettuce, and tomato on toasted white bread. And then there’s the Fin-tastic Tuna Sandwich with albacore tuna salad, lettuce, and tomato on toasted wheat bread. If comfort food is more your style, then you’ll love the Drive In Dishes. Flo’s Famous Fried Chicken starts off this list and comes with roasted garlic mashed potatoes, gravy, and seasonal vegetables. The Tropical Hideaway is coming soon to Adventureland in Disneyland Park! Coming Soon… The Tropical Hideaway What’s The Tropical Hideaway, you may ask? The former Aladdin’s Oasis is being transformed into a new dining experience where guests will be able to “rub elbows” with skippers in the midst of a traders’ market which will feature the “flavors of the tropics”! The lone piece of concept art revealed in February gives us an idea of the upcoming spot displaying tables, canopies, and thatched roofs along the shores of the river. And the latest addition to the Star Wars universe — spin-off Solo: A Star Wars Story — has inspired a brand new cupcake at Hollywood Studios’ go-to locale for pastries and sweets: Trolley Car Café. Trolley Car Cafe is the place to go for pastries in Hollywood Studios! Solo: A Star Wars Story Cupcake is billed as cookies and cream with cookie crumble buttercream. This past weekend, “Disney Channel GO! Fan Fest,” a special day for fans to meet dozens of their favorite Disney Channel stars, took place at the Disneyland Resort. The festivities included Disney Channel stars in a cavalcade down Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland park, followed by panel discussions and fan meet and greets at Disney California Adventure park. Then, we’re skipping over to Art of Animation and Pop Century for a quick look at What’s New at the resorts! So put on your fancy pants, and let’s get our glamour on! Disney’s Hollywood Studios Disney’s Hollywood Studios Menu Updates and Eats ABC Commissary has added a Vegan Burger on vegan-friendly brioche with vegan mayo ketchup, sriracha mustard, grilled onions and peppers, lettuce, and tomatoes. ABC Commissary Menu At BaseLine Tap House, the Exotic Margarita has replaced the Negroni. BaseLine Tap House Menu The menu at Mama Melrose’s has replaced the Rosemary Chicken Flatbread with an Arugula Prosciutto Flatbread. Mama Melrose Menu At Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant there’s a new Shrimp and Crab Fondue, Crispy Chicken Tenders (with a new Szechuan Sauce), Vegan Tofu Lettuce Wraps, Buffalo Chicken Salad, Smoked Prime Rib Sandwich, and Sci-Fi Barbecue Burger. Sci-Fi Dine-In Menu Gone from the menu are Spinach Dip, Boneless Chicken Wings, St. Louis Ribs, Caprese Sandwich, Reuben Sandwich, and Salmon Fajita Salad.
