There are a few things we LOVE about the Mexico Pavilion at EPCOT. Avocado margaritas at La Cava del Tequila, dining in the twilight at San Angel Inn Restaurante… San Angel Inn …And, of course, riding Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros! But, the Three Caballeros are just down to two this week. Earlier this week, we heard that José Carioca had malfunctioned and was MISSING from the slow-moving boat ride. And, of course, we had to see our favorite band for ourselves if the rumors were true! Gran Fiesta Tour And as we rounded the final corner of the Gran Fiesta Tour, yes, it turned out that José was NOT there for the troubadours’ grand finale! Donde esta Jose?! Donald Duck and Panchito were still there, singing at the top of their lungs and singing about “where one, two, and three goes,” and always being together, but No. 3 was absent. Instead, some orange and yellow flowers lay where José once stood. The…Two Caballeros This ride may be all about finding that wandering Donald Duck, but we’re wondering where Jose went and when he will be back! When he does return to the show, you know we’ll let you know! The Three Caballeros are due for a BIG reunion. La Cava del Tequila looks TOTALLY different now too. See how here! There have been a lot of changes at Disney World lately, and we’re not just talkin’ about all the new health and safety modifications! Paddlefish Crab Cake “BLT” Now that many restaurants inside the theme parks have reopened, they’ve scaled back on quite a few of their offerings. We also saw a lot of menu slashing happen right before several restaurants reopened in Disney Springs. Terralina Crafted Italian and Paddlefish, however, appear to be heading in a different direction. Both Disney Springs locations (which are owned by Levy Restaurants) reopened back in May. And both restaurants have ADDED quite a few items to their menus! Terralina Menu Changes First up, let’s look at the changes Terralina has made! It appears they’ve switched up their Burrata which used to come with pickled beets, kale, lemon, and crostini. Check out our most recent review of Terralina here! And LOOK at all the stuff they’ve just ADDED! Food and Beverage Added to Terralina’s Menu Antipasti Tower — (serves four) Prosciutto, Spicy Capicola, Grana Padano, Bocconcini, Tomatoes, Pickled Vegetables, Grilled Zucchini, Parmesan Crisp, Olives, House-made Pecorino-Truffle Potato Chips for $37.00 Carpaccio, Baby Arugula, Mint-Basil Aïoli, Shaved Parmesan, Fried Capers, Crostini for $15.00 Italian Fries — creamy Cheese sauce and Salami for $14.00 Baby Arugula Salad featuring Strawberry, shaved Parmesan, shaved Fennel and Citrus Vinaigrette for $11 Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Arugula, Tomato, and Lemon-Caper Aïoli served with House-made Pecorino-Truffle Potato Chips and Garlic Pickles for $16.00 Grilled Vegetable Sandwich — Zucchini, Portobello Mushroom, Red Onion, Roasted Red Pepper, Fresh Mozzarella, Pesto Aïoli, and Balsamic Drizzle served with House-made Pecorino-Truffle Potato Chips and Garlic Pickles for $14.00 Italian Grinder — Soppressata, Peppers, Zucchini, Tomatoes, Arugula, Fontina, and Chili-Sage Aïoli served with House-made Pecorino-Truffle Potato Chips and Garlic Pickles for $14.00 Chicken Parmesan Sandwich — Mozzarella and Herbed Pesto served with House-made Pecorino-Truffle Potato Chips and Garlic Pickles for $14.00 Eggplant Parmesan Sandwich — Mozzarella and Herbed Pesto served with House-made Pecorino-Truffle Potato Chips and Garlic Pickles for $13.00 Citrus Half Chicken with Mashed Potatoes, Asparagus, and Gremolata for $25.00 Lemon Panna Cotta with Candied Thyme for $9.00 Hank’s Root Beer Mojito Árvero Limoncello Italian Margarita Mediterranean Martini Terralina Crafted Italian Okay, okay…there have been a few more subtractions — but not very many! Food and Beverages Removed From Terralina’s Menu Calzone made with Roasted Pork, Sweet Peppers, and Spinach The Springs Negroni Revered Heritage Cozy Terrace Nighttime Pleasantries Crafted Lemonade Pitcher Seasonal Bellini Star Crossed Lovers Limoncello Mojito is Still Available at Terralina Mostly mixed drinks have gotten the boot, so if you’re a non-drinker, the only subtraction you’ll have to worry about is Terralina’s Calzone! Now let’s look at how Paddlefish has changed up its menu. Paddlefish Exterior Paddlefish Menu Changes It looks like there are more appetizers, desserts, cocktails, and Kids’ Menu options to choose from! Food and Beverages Added to Paddlefish’s Menu Crab Guacamole Lump Crab served with Onion, Tomato, Jalapeño, Cilantro, Lime, Avocado and Tajin Tortilla chips for $36.00 Main Stuffed Cod Shrimp & Scallops with Corn Bread stuffing, Asparagus, Red Potato and mustard cream sauce for $35.00 Catfish Cornmeal Crust — Edamame-smoked Bacon Succotash, Creole Mustard for $25.00 New York-style Cheesecake — Farm-fresh strawberry compote for $9 Chicken Fingers served with French Fries (Kids’ Menu) for $10.00 Linguine served with choice of Marinara or Parmesean Cream. Earlier today AMC delayed its reopening timeline. The Rise of Skywalker Premiere at AMC Disney’s live-action remake of Mulan had been rescheduled to premiere on August 21st, but now, Disney has just announced several movies they’ve finished or are currently working on have been delayed. According to CNN, Mulan‘s release date has been delayed indefinitely. But that’s not all — Disney has several projects in the making including sequels to Avatar and additional Star Wars Story films. All scheduled Star Wars and Avatar films between 2021 and 2027 will be pushed back by one year. In a written statement just issued by Avatar‘s director James Cameron, he states, “As many of you are aware, due to COVID-19, we were forced into an unexpected lengthy delay in starting the live-action filming we are currently doing in New Zealand. What most of you likely do not know is that the pandemic is still preventing us from being allowed to recommence most of our virtual production work on stages in Los Angeles.” Filming of the Avatar Sequels, Photo Credit: Jon Landau The first sequel to Avatar was set to debut in December 2021, but Cameron’s letter goes on to state it will no longer be possible to make that delivery date. That means the new release date for Avatar 2 is now slated for December 16th, 2022. According to Fandango, here is the new release schedule for the Avatar films: Avatar 2: December 16, 2022 Avatar 3: December 20, 2024 Avatar 4: December 18, 2026 Avatar 5: December 22, 2028 Disney has said a new live-action film will take the place of Avatar 2’s release date on December 16th, 2021, but they haven’t announced which movie it will be. Stay here for more updates on this developing story! Get all the details on the release date delay of Mulan here. Are you surprised Disney has delayed several of their movie premieres? We’ve been really anticipating the release of Disney’s live-action remake of Mulan this year. ©Disney Initially, Mulan was supposed to premiere on March 27th. However, due to the global health crisis, the film has seen a series of delays to the release date. Now, Disney has delayed the film once more — and this time, they haven’t set a new date. Last month, Disney pushed Mulan‘s theatrical release to August 21st. According to CNBC, Disney has made changes to its release calendar. Mulan has been listed with an “unset” release date. At this time, this blockbuster is delayed indefinitely. @Walt Disney Studios The company explained that these further delays have been instituted as a result of theater closures and production shutdowns during the global health crisis. ©Walt Disney Studios We will be sure to keep an eye out for any updates on the Mulan film. One day we will get to watch one of our favorite princesses save all of China, but it seems like it might be a little farther off than we’d anticipated. Welcome to the next chapter of “Adventures at Home,” a series that brings you customized at-home experiences inspired by some of our most popular Adventures by Disney destinations. Today we say “Velkominn” to Iceland as we virtually explore the majestic natural wonders, local traditions and culinary flair of this vibrant Nordic nation. 1. Discover the Land of Fire and Ice Iceland’s unique landscape has been adorned with imposing waterfalls, otherworldly valleys, monumental glaciers and stunning volcanoes. Experience the breathtaking sights of the land of fire and ice with this virtual tour featuring highlights from Adventures by Disney. TIP: Many streaming devices and smart TVs allow you to mirror your smart device/computer and play videos directly on the big screen. 2. Nordic Fun You can always count on the Adventure Guides to have the ultimate toolkit for fun and entertaining. Here is an exciting family game that will test your guessing abilities, with an Icelandic twist. Just print this game guide and get ready to identify the animals, places and things you can encounter while adventuring in Iceland! 3. Geyser Bread! Iceland’s unique rúgbrauð is a dark rye bread cooked by placing the dough into covered pots and burying them near geothermal springs. The steam from the springs does the baking and the result is a dense, almost cake-like loaf of bread that tastes a bit like caramel. We know most of us don’t have a geothermal spring handy but one of our Icelandic Adventure Guides shared a hack to make this delicious doughy goodness at home. Download a printable version of the recipe here. Ingredients: 1 Cup rye flour1/3 Cup whole wheat flour1 Tsp baking powder½ Tsp baking soda1 ¼ Cups of buttermilk5 Tbsp golden syrup A pinch of saltInstructions: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F, and line and grease a 1 Lb loaf panMix all the ingredients with a spoon until you reach a similar consistency to oatmealPour mix into a loaf pan and cover loosely with foil (the dough will rise so give the foil a dome shape)Place in the oven and lower the heat to 225 degrees FBake for 7 hoursRemove from the oven and cool4. Icelandic Legends! Iceland has a rich history of folklore and legends. Throughout our itinerary, Adventure Guides regale adventurers with entertaining tales of trolls, elves and hidden people that inhabit the majestic and mysterious landscapes of this Nordic island. Our friends from Disney Family shared instructions to create a delicious treat inspired by the magical stone trolls from Frozen. Fun fact: Iceland influenced the visual design and the story of Frozen 2. If you are looking to continue experiencing amazing destinations with Adventures by Disney, set sail on a river cruise through the South of France, join our safari to South Africa or embark on an expedition to Montana and Yellowstone National Park. Stay tuned to Disney Parks Blog for even more #DisneyMagicMoments and experience the magic of Disney wherever you may be. See ya next time, adventurers! View the full article

Since Disney’s Hollywood Studios reopened, we’ve received questions about why the virtual queue fills so quickly each day. As you’ve also heard here on the Disney Parks Blog, new health-and-safety measures include limiting theme park attendance and implementing new measures to promote physical distancing. This includes requiring extra space between groups in queues and on attraction vehicles. With all of this in mind, we are not able to accommodate as many people on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance as we could before we implemented physical distancing. For guests with a Disney Park Pass reservation to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the attraction will continue to have limited availability accessible through the My Disney Experience app virtual queue. Starting Friday, July 24, guests will have an opportunity at either 10 a.m. or 2 p.m. to join the virtual queue. These two opportunities are intended to give guests more flexibility in their planning, and are also a way to further support physical distancing. Here are more details to be aware of before you arrive: First, make sure you have the My Disney Experience app. Once you enter the park, log in to your account at one of the distribution times (10 a.m. or 2 p.m.).Once you have logged in, select “Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Virtual Queue” on the home screen. You will be able to view the current status and next steps for joining the virtual queue. The app will indicate when there is no availability for a specific distribution time. Some guests may join backup groups. As long as your My Disney Experience account is linked to park tickets for you and the others in your group, you can enroll everyone in the virtual queue at the same time. In order to give as many guests as possible the opportunity to join the Resistance, each guest can enter the virtual queue no more than once per day.Make sure push notifications are turned on for My Disney Experience so you will be alerted if your group is called to return. You’ll have up to an hour from the time of the alert to go to the entrance of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Guests who are enrolled in the virtual queue will be able to see an estimated return time indicating when they may be called back to experience the attraction. This time may change throughout the day, so continue to check the app for updates. Also, the tip boards around the park will display the boarding groups that have been called back. Please note that joining the virtual queue does not guarantee the ability to experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. If you have any questions or need assistance with joining the virtual queue, cast members at Guest Experience Team locations throughout the park are available to assist. While you wait for your virtual queue group to be called, you can enjoy other experiences at Disney’s Hollywood Studios including our newest addition, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
