  1. We’re on the Disney Adventure, Disney Cruise Line’s newest cruise ship, and we’re getting ready to ride an attraction — at sea! Pym Quantum Racers We’re on the ship’s maiden voyage out of Singapore. The Disney Adventure is the first Disney Cruise Line ship to sail from Singapore’s Marina Bay Cruise Centre and throughout Southeast Asia. The ship’s theme is adventure, and there are seven themed areas, including Marvel! That’s where we’re heading to ride Pym Quantum Racers. So come with us! Disney has called this ship the “biggest adventure yet,” featuring Disney, Pixar, and Marvel stories on board. Presenting seven themed areas, the Adventure will “be packed with immersive experiences and entertainment featuring beloved characters where families can create memories to last a lifetime… without ever leaving the ship!” We thought the theme was fun! One of the attractions is Pym Quantum Racers, which is a speedy go-kart attraction inspired by Ant-Man and The Wasp and their use of Pym Particles. This ride is found at Marvel’s Landing and is one of three attractions aboard this ship. Let’s go! There are only seven cars, so only seven people can go at a time, unless kids ride with their parents (but from what we saw, they wanted to drive themselves!). This is also a very slow ride — like, be prepared to go slower than you possibly think. We’re not sure how it matches with the name of Pym Quantum Racers because of the slow speed, but it was still fun. Our ride We loved hearing Scott and Cassie Lang from Ant-Man announce “no racing” during the intro, and you get about two laps in before the cars stop. We also saw some other issues with the cars, but since it’s a new attraction, it might take a moment to get everything up and running. At least it doesn’t sound (or smell!) like Tomorrowland Speedway and Autopia. There are quite a few stops, and sometimes the Crew Members have to go out and push the cars if there’s a pile-up. It was also a bit difficult to steer. Driving We’re seeing and doing everything there is to do on Disney’s newest cruise ship! 3. The Japan Pavilion at EPCOT has always been a hidden gem, and right now it’s having a serious moment. Japan Pavilion If you haven’t been to World Showcase lately, you might not know that the Japan Pavilion has picked up some really fun offerings that Disney Adults are absolutely running with. From collectible machines to personalized keepsakes, there are a couple of trends taking off that we think are worth knowing about before your next trip. Let’s break it down! Gachapon Corner If you’ve spent any time learning about Japanese culture, you’ve probably heard of gachapon. These are capsule vending machines that dispense small collectible toys, and they’re hugely popular in Japan. Well, now you don’t have to book a flight to Tokyo to try your luck, because a dedicated spot called Gachapon Corner has popped up right in the Japan Pavilion. In the Japan Pavilion There’s a whole section of these machines now, stocked with collectibles ranging from Kirby to Ultraman and beyond. A big screen nearby helps you make your selection, and the whole setup is cashless, so there’s no fumbling around for coins. The prices run somewhere between $9 and $15, with most landing around $12, so it’s not exactly a cheap thrill, but it’s a really unique experience you won’t find anywhere else at Walt Disney World. Mystery time! Honestly, even if you don’t end up pulling a collectible yourself, it’s worth swinging by just to watch the excitement of other guests trying their luck. It’s one of those additions that feels genuinely special for the pavilion, and we’re really hoping it’s here to stay. Getting Your Fan Personalized at Mitsukoshi If you’ve ever wandered through Mitsukoshi, you know it’s one of the best stores in all of World Showcase. Anime merch, Japanese snacks, beautiful home goods, all packed into one incredible space. But here’s something a lot of people are sleeping on: you can get a fan personalized right there in the store. The fan Mitsukoshi carries a gorgeous selection of Japanese fans, and a sign near the merchandise lets you know that personalization is available if you just ask at any of the checkout registers. It’s a really affordable souvenir option that also doubles as something genuinely useful the second you step back out into that Florida heat. Cast Member customizing our fan Disney Adults have been catching onto this one, and honestly, it tracks. A personalized fan is a beautiful, functional keepsake that you can actually use and display, and it’s the kind of thing your friends back home will think you found on an actual trip to Japan. Our fan! Between mystery capsule machines and customized souvenirs, the Japan Pavilion continues to surprise us with fun little experiences that go beyond just shopping. And if these trends keep growing, we have a feeling we’ll be seeing a lot more Disney Adults walking around EPCOT with tiny capsules and personalized fans in hand. As always, keep it right here at DFB for the latest tips, trends, and discoveries around Disney World. 13 Dates to Avoid EPCOT in 2026 Join the DFB Newsletter to get all the breaking news right in your inbox! 4. Another refurbishment is hitting Disney World this summer! Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort Disney World has so much construction going on, and it looks like they’re adding even more to that starting in May. Disney World just announced that the All-Star Movies Resort is starting room refurbishments in late May of 2026. Let’s take a look at all the details. Don’t want to go through all of the stress of booking your Disney World trip alone? Reach out to our friends at Small World Vacations! Their experienced agents monitor your reservation for possible future savings, compare discounts, and figure out which one works best for your travel party, dates, resort, and touring plans. And, they share expert tips and first-hand advice with you about your magical vacation. Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort will be undergoing refurbishment for its rooms starting in late May, and the work is scheduled to run through the end of January 2027. So, we’ll be seeing just over eight months of construction activity taking place at the value resort. Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort Disney says guests staying during the refurbishment may see or hear construction work, and alternate paths of travel may be in place at times. There is no word on which specific room buildings will be affected first when the refurb starts or how the work will be phased across the property. With every room refurbishment Disney does, they tend to close sections progressively. World Premiere Food Court If you have a plan to stay at the resort this summer, there is a chance you’ll hear some construction noise during your stay. Some walking routes around the resort may change as well, which means it might be smart to walk around to get familiar with the area. Luggage Check All the resort’s amenities are expected to remain open, which includes The Fantasia Pool, Duck Pond Pool, and kiddie pool, which are not listed as affected by the refurbishment. Duck Pond Pool Staying at the resort won’t be that much different than when you normally would, but if the construction may bother you, it might be smart to choose another resort destination. 7. We’ve spent a lot of nights in a lot of Disney World hotel rooms, and we’re here to tell you that not all beds are created equal. Copper Creek 1 bedroom villa When you’re dropping serious cash on a Disney World trip, the quality of your sleep matters more than you might think. There’s a real difference between waking up well-rested and ready to tackle the parks versus dragging yourself out of a bed that didn’t do you any favors. We’ve done the testing so you don’t have to, and we’re breaking down the seven best beds on Disney World property so you know exactly what you’re booking. Deluxe Resort King Beds (Wilderness Lodge, Grand Floridian, Polynesian Village, and Beach Club) Disney’s Deluxe Resorts sit at the top of the hotel tier system, which means the highest price tags but also the best amenities offered. That quality absolutely carries over to the beds, and the king rooms at these properties are genuinely impressive. They’re not always the right fit for every group, especially families with kids who need multiple beds, but when you can swing a king room, you’re in for something special. Don’t you want to just stay in bed a little bit longer? From our experience, these beds hit a sweet spot between soft and supportive that’s hard to nail. You’ve got enough give to sink in comfortably, but there’s still enough firmness underneath to actually feel rested in the morning. They’re the kind of beds where you don’t really have to think about it, you just sleep well. Bedroom Our personal favorites among Disney-owned properties are the king beds at the Wilderness Lodge, the Grand Floridian Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney’s Beach Club Resort. All four of these deliver what we’d call the peak of standard Disney hotel sleeping experiences. That said, they might not actually be the single best beds you’ll find anywhere on Disney World property. Four Seasons Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort Now we’re stepping outside of Disney-owned hotels, because the Four Seasons Resort Orlando is sitting right there on Disney World property near the Magic Kingdom, and it absolutely cannot be ignored. The Four Seasons brand has a well-earned reputation for world-class beds, and the Orlando location is no exception. Honestly, we’d put these among the best hotel beds we’ve ever slept in, full stop. Four Seasons The level of comfort here is genuinely next level, and the Four Seasons themselves clearly know it. They actually send marketing emails to past guests where you can purchase the same bedding and mattress materials used in the hotel for your own home. When a hotel is so confident in their beds that they’re selling you the experience to take home, that tells you something. Swan and Dolphin Resorts: The Westin Heavenly Bed If the Four Seasons is going to have any real competition on Disney World property, it’s coming from the Swan and Dolphin Resorts. These hotels use the Westin Heavenly Bed, and the name isn’t an exaggeration. We’re talking a pillow-top mattress, a white goose-down comforter, and four seriously overstuffed pillows that make climbing into bed feel like an event. Suite On a technical level, the Heavenly Bed is doing a lot of work. The mattress features reinforced pocketed coil technology that distributes your weight evenly throughout the night. Layers of temperature-regulating gel-infused foam stimulate airflow and sit atop individually pocketed coils designed to relieve pressure points and reduce motion transfer. If you share a bed with someone who moves around a lot, that last part alone is worth it. ©Marriott There’s also a silver fiber weave worked into the bedding that delivers natural antimicrobial and antibacterial properties, while simultaneously pulling heat away from your body to keep you cool all night long. It’s genuinely impressive engineering dressed up in very cozy packaging. ©Marriott A great hotel bed might not be the first thing people think about when planning a Disney trip, but trust us when we say it can make a huge difference. After walking miles through the parks, getting quality sleep is the reset your body really needs. And if you want the best chance at waking up refreshed for another park day, these seven beds are the ones we keep coming back to. Stay tuned to DisneyFoodBlog for everything you need to know before you book your vacation. We’re Sorry To Tell You, But You Need To AVOID Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge For Now DON'T DO IT ALONE! 8. A new controversial airline update? You guessed it — today, we are once again talking about Southwest Airlines. ©Southwest Airlines First, the chaos surrounding the new seating policy, and now there’s a claim that they aren’t cleaning the entire aircraft between flights? And those seats getting missed are the cheapest ones? Let’s dive in! According to the New York Post, claims have recently surfaced that Southwest is experimenting with only cleaning the premium seats in between each flight. These claims surround the fact that Southwest seems determined to keep its time on the ground as limited as possible. While every traveler would love the idea of speedier plane travel, they most likely wouldn’t be keen to know it’s coming at the expense of a clean seat. Southwest Airlines These claims began when Chris Click, a safety chair for the Transport Workers Union Local 556, responded to a memo discussing an “experiment they’re doing with cleaners.” Click responded to this “experiment” in a since-deleted video where he, “reportedly likened Southwest’s alleged prioritization of first-class passengers… to that of the upper-class citizens on the ill-fated Titanic.” This speculation by Click was that Southwest was prioritizing higher-paying passengers and only cleaning their seats, leaving anyone in economy with whatever dirt and grime was left from the flight before. Southwest Airlines at John Wayne International Airport In response to Click, a representative from Southwest made a statement to The Post claiming that flight attendants “tidy every aircraft between every flight today.” However, if these claims are true, it appears as though Southwest is “tidying” the aircraft by picking up trash and ensuring that the plane is visually clean. However, it may be unlikely that they are truly cleaning and sanitizing every seat. If you’re planning to fly Southwest any time soon, be aware of this potential change! As with any plane travel, we would suggest bringing supplies to wipe down your own seat and tray table to ensure that it is clean before your flight. 11. New brand campaign, products, publishing titles and content will spotlight Pooh and his legacy Disney is commemorating 100 years of Winnie the Pooh by honoring the gentle humor, timeless wisdom, and boundless imagination that have made the ‘hunny’-loving bear beloved for generations. This centennial milestone marks the 1926 publication of A.A. Milne’s original Winnie‑the‑Pooh book and will be celebrated throughout 2026 with new product collaborations, storytelling moments, and publishing releases inspired by Pooh’s century-long legacy. A Legacy Rooted in Storytelling and Animation Pooh’s relationship with Disney began nearly 60 years ago, when Walt Disney introduced the Hundred Acre Wood to audiences through animation. Since those early featurettes, generations of Disney animators have shaped Pooh’s on‑screen personality with warmth, simplicity, and storybook-inspired artistry. Disney Legend Mark Henn served as supervising animator for Pooh in the 2011 Walt Disney Animation Studios feature Winnie the Pooh, helping further define the gentle charm that continues to resonate with fans. “Animating Winnie the Pooh has been one of the greatest joys of my career. His warmth, curiosity, and subtle expressions allow animators to explore some of the most heartfelt storytelling in the Disney tradition,” said Mark Henn, Disney Legend and animator. This animation legacy remains central to Pooh’s identity, reinforcing his place as one of Disney’s most heartfelt and enduring characters. The Walt Disney Archives Celebrates Pooh’s Century of Stories As part of the centennial, the Walt Disney Archives is highlighting its extensive Winnie the Pooh collection, which preserves artwork, documents, animation materials, consumer products, and one-of-a-kind artifacts chronicling Pooh’s evolution since the 1960s. Among the collection are early 1960s plush toys created by Gund, one of the longest‑running Pooh licensees. Gund’s plush characters, treasured by generations of fans, remain a significant part of the archival product story. Its legacy continues today, as Gund still brings new Pooh items to market, building on decades of craftsmanship and emotional connection for fans of all ages. Some of Gund’s latest Winnie the Pooh-inspired items include the Oh So Sunggly Winnie the Pooh plush, the Peek-a-Boo Winnie the Pooh Animated Plush, and their Disney Winnie the Pooh Collection. From publication artwork to vintage merchandise and production ephemera, the Archives offers a unique window into the creativity that has defined Pooh’s journey. “This collection gives fans a rare opportunity to see some materials that would shape Winnie the Pooh’s on‑screen and consumer‑products legacy, from early merchandise to early studio production documentation that reflects the craft behind his charm,” said Kevin M. Kern, Sr. Manager, Research, Walt Disney Archives. The Archives’ ongoing work ensures future generations can continue to explore the artistry that has helped define Pooh’s journey. A New Brand Campaign Brings Fans into the Hundred Acre Wood To celebrate Pooh’s 100th anniversary, Disney is launching a new global brand campaign inviting fans to revisit Pooh’s gentle wisdom and lighthearted worldview. The campaign brings audiences into the Hundred Acre Wood through new content, experiential events, creator-led storytelling, and reimagined “Pooh‑isms” — inspired by the gentle, reflective sayings and simple truths Pooh is known for — that spotlight Pooh’s timeless wisdom through a modern lens. At the heart of the campaign is a new brand spot — available now on Disney’s YouTube channel — offering a warm, heartfelt tribute to the ways Pooh encourages fans to slow down, imagine, and savor life’s simple joys. Celebrating Pooh Through New Global Product Collaborations All year, Disney is working with global leading brands to introduce new collections inspired by Pooh and his friends. Early launches include apparel, accessories, collectibles, home goods, and lifestyle products available at major retailers worldwide, with additional items rolling out throughout the year. “Winnie the Pooh’s 100th anniversary gives us an incredible opportunity to celebrate the products that have shaped his legacy,” said Amanda Dhalluin, VP Global Brand Commercialization, Disney Consumer Products. “From classic storybook‑inspired collections to modern lifestyle lines, every item we create is designed to connect fans with Pooh Bear in a way that feels personal and joyfully nostalgic.” Early Launch Highlights Carter’s debuted baby apparel inspired by Winnie the Pooh and friends, bringing the cozy Hundred Acre Wood charm to little fans. Disney Store launched several collections inspired by Winnie the Pooh, including mini and large versions of the Winnie the Pooh and Pals Disney Store Est. 1987 Canvas Tote. Funko expanded their popular Pop Nooks line with new Winnie the Pooh collectibles celebrating some of his most iconic moments from across the Hundred Acre Wood, with charming figures like Pop! Nooks Winnie the Pooh in Honey Tree, Pop! Pooh with Balloon, and Pop! Sleeping Winnie the Pooh GAP introduced new baby apparel featuring timeless Pooh designs for seamless outfit pairing. Old Navy rolled out playful adult female, kids, toddler, and baby apparel inspired by Winnie the Pooh and friends. Primark dropped a 100th anniversary collection that channels the wonder of the Hundred Acre Wood and leans into cozy nostalgia. Vera Bradley launched iconic bags and accessories adorned with whimsical Hundred Acre Wood patterns, giving fans an early way to join the centennial celebration. New Drops Spanning More Categories This Month Newly available, two LEGO Disney Winnie the Pooh sets celebrate the centennial: a detailed brick‑built Pooh with a honey pot with movable features, and the Piglet’s Birthday Fun set featuring a posable Piglet and a birthday cake that opens to reveal Pooh’s house and the Hundred Acre Wood. The new Happy Haul line from Just Play, which debuted at New York Toy Fair and launches this month, brings Winnie the Pooh to life with the blind‑box Hunny Crew figures and Hunny Hugs Capsule Plush, inviting fans to unbox surprises and build their own collections. Additional highlights this month include a robust assortment of baby apparel from Kyte Baby, new adult apparel and accessories from Cakeworthy, tech accessories from PopSockets, and statement bags from Loungefly. Yogi Tea joins the celebration as well with a comforting honey chamomile tea inspired by Pooh’s love of slowing down and savoring simple pleasures. Beauty essentials, including new Winnie the Pooh collections from Wet Brush, Wet n Wild, and Mad Beauty, will follow these top product drops, bringing Pooh‑inspired charm to personal‑care routines around the world. Products Still to Come The celebration will continue throughout the year with additional Winnie the Pooh–inspired launches across retail and lifestyle categories worldwide. Upcoming releases include a new kids’ footwear collection from adidas this June, infused with whimsical design touches and everyday comfort, a new addition to the popular Disney Darlings line from JAKKS Pacific, as well as special collections from Squishmallows, Steiff, Little Words Project, and Pandora. New Publishing Launches Explore Pooh’s Themes of Kindness and Wonder This year’s publishing lineup invites readers to connect with Pooh through books celebrating friendship, creativity, keepsakes, and reflective moments. Upcoming titles include: Winnie the Pooh: Wonders of the Hundred-Acre Wood Treasury from Random House Children’s Books Disney: Winnie the Pooh: The Hundred-Acre Wood Cookbook from Insight Editions The Winnie the Pooh Book: A Centenary Celebration from DK And this fall, Disney will honor the anniversary of A.A. Milne’s original publication with the release of Winnie the Pooh: 100 Mindful Moments from Penguin Random House, arriving September 22. This newest addition to the Pooh literary tradition invites readers to explore the art of living simply, joyfully, and thoughtfully through Pooh’s perspective while finding balance in the everyday. Inviting Fans Everywhere to “Live the Hunny Life” The campaign will continue to roll out with regional experiential activations from April to May across LA, Japan, Singapore, London, Paris, and Poland, supporting new product collections from LEGO, Just Play and Funko, alongside new publishing titles. As Disney celebrates 100 years of Winnie the Pooh, fans everywhere are invited to rediscover the timeless charm, imagination, and gentle wisdom that have defined Pooh for a century. Through storytelling, animation, publishing, and new product offerings, the Hundred Acre Wood will continue to inspire meaningful moments around the world in 2026, and beyond Discover additional product news and centennial collections on the Disney Parks Blog. 12. Thomas Mazloum Named Chairman, Disney Experiences Disney Experiences announced today a series of leadership appointments, underscoring the strength and versatility of its leadership team. “We’re in an unprecedented period of growth for Disney Experiences,” said Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Experiences and incoming Chief Executive Officer of the Walt Disney Company. “This team will propel the world-class experiences Disney is known for to more guests across the globe.” Thomas Mazloum succeeds Josh D’Amaro as Chairman, Disney Experiences, leading a diverse portfolio of global businesses including Disney’s theme parks, cruise ships, resort hotels, expeditions and adventures, consumer products, and Walt Disney Imagineering, the creative engine behind Disney’s experiences portfolio. Mazloum brings deep operational knowledge of Disney Experiences, a strong record of international leadership, and a long-standing commitment to Disney’s cast members and creative culture. With the guest experience at the center of everything, he will lead the business into its next chapter as it continues to grow and evolve globally. 13. On March 10, the Disney Adventure will set sail on its maiden voyage from Singapore, joining the growing Disney Cruise Line fleet as its eighth ship and first in Asia — bringing immersive Disney storytelling to more guests and Disney fans around the world than ever. The Disney Adventure expands The Walt Disney Company’s presence in one of the fastest growing travel regions and in cruising, one of the fastest growing segments of global travel. “We think about this ship as a brand ambassador as Disney Cruise Line continues to visit more people in more places around the world,” said Joe Schott, President, Disney Signature Experiences. “It brings together our storytelling, entertainment and legendary service in one immersive experience, creating memories for guests that stay with them long after the voyage ends.” With five additional Disney ships launching between 2027 and 2031, the growth of Disney Cruise Line reflects continued expansion across Disney Experiences, which currently has more projects underway globally than at any point in the company’s history. Introducing New Guests to Disney Experiences Helping to meet the rising demand for Disney vacations at sea, Schott shared that the fleet is already more than 80% sold for fiscal year 2026, even as capacity continues to grow with the expansion into Asia and the recent debut of the Disney Destiny in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in November. Based on a survey of the initial guests who booked sailings on the Disney Adventure: More than 90% of guests are sailing with Disney Cruise Line for the first time, highlighting the long-term growth potential in the region. Most guests are first-time cruisers, demonstrating Disney’s unique ability to attract new audiences across Southeast Asia. Families make up most guests onboard, reinforcing Disney Cruise Line’s strength in multigenerational travel, which is popular in this market. Most guests plan to spend time in Singapore before or after their cruise, indicating the positive economic impact of the ship’s local presence. While most guests sailing aboard the Disney Adventure are new to cruising and to Disney Cruise Line, their connection to Disney is well established. The overwhelming majority say they have previously experienced Disney through theme parks, films, television, or consumer products, making the cruise experience a natural extension of stories they already know and love. With Hong Kong Disneyland more than 1,500 miles (about 2,600 kilometers) from Singapore, the Disney Adventure brings a Disney experience closer to guests in the region. Building on that momentum, as previously announced, Disney is also working with Oriental Land Co., Ltd. (OLC) to bring Disney cruise vacations to Japan, expected to begin by early 2029, further extending the company’s foothold in Asia. Bringing the Disney Adventure to Life As the largest ship to join the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Disney Adventure spans 1,122 feet, accommodates approximately 6,700 guests and is supported by a crew of about 2,500. The Disney Adventure sails three- and four-night itineraries at sea, making the ship both the journey and the destination. Across seven immersive themed areas, the ship brings more than 100 years of Disney, Marvel, and Pixar storytelling to life through experiences thoughtfully inspired by the region. Highlights include a Marvel-themed adventure zone on the upper decks, San Fransokyo Street from Big Hero 6, and a Lion King-inspired fireworks spectacular. The ship also features Duffy and Friends, the beloved character franchise that originated in Disney’s Asia theme parks, with dedicated consumer products, meet-and-greets, and an original stage show. “A cruise ship allows us to immerse guests in a brand in a deeper way,” said Bruce Vaughn, President and Chief Creative Officer, Walt Disney Imagineering. “It’s almost like stepping into a living storybook, where every space plays a role in the story being told. “Immersion isn’t just about what you see,” he added. “It’s how sound, lighting, food and movement all work together so the story surrounds you, instead of sitting in front of you.” For more on the Disney Adventure and how to book, guests can visit DisneyAdventure.com. 17. We are big believers that you do not have to spend a fortune to eat well at Disney World. Street Corn Fries Sure, the splurge meals have their place, but some of our absolute favorite bites have come from the most unassuming spots on property. And the food court at Disney’s Pop Century Resort (Everything POP Shopping and Dining) is honestly one of those places we think gets overlooked way too often. On a recent visit, we decided to try the Street Corn Fries, which are currently sitting at just $6.99 on the menu. Yes, really. Under seven dollars. At Disney World. You know we had to. What Are the Street Corn Fries? The Street Corn Fries are exactly what they sound like (and also somehow more than what you expect). You get a generous portion of fries topped with roasted corn relish, cotija cheese, and a cilantro-lime crema drizzled over the whole thing. ©Disney The flavor profile here is very much inspired by elote, the classic Mexican street corn preparation that has rightfully taken over every food scene it touches in the last several years. Disney leaning into that for a food court snack is a genuinely smart move, and we were curious to see if the execution matched the concept. What We Thought The short version: we really liked these. The longer version is that every component on this dish is doing real work, and they all play together nicely. The cilantro-lime crema was the standout for us. It was creamy in the best possible way, and the flavor was bright and punchy without being overwhelming. You could taste both the cilantro and the lime distinctly, which is not always a given with a sauce like this. Sometimes these kinds of cremas end up tasting like a vague green dairy situation, but this one had personality. Street Corn Fries The roasted corn relish added a sweetness that balanced the acidity of the crema really well. And the cotija brought that slightly salty, crumbly, creamy quality that makes street corn so satisfying in the first place. There was also a subtle bitterness from the pepper in the mix that kept everything from feeling one-note. The fries themselves held up under the toppings, which matters more than people give credit for. Nobody wants a soggy base situation when you are trying to enjoy a loaded snack like this. The Value Factor At $6.99, this is genuinely one of the better snack deals we have come across at a Disney World resort in a while. The portion is solid, the ingredients feel intentional, and the overall experience is way more elevated than you would expect from a counter-service food court order. If you are trying to keep costs manageable on your trip without sacrificing flavor, this is the kind of find that makes that possible. Street Corn Fries It is also worth knowing that the Street Corn Fries are not exclusive to Pop Century. You can find them at several Disney World resort food courts, so if you are staying somewhere else on property and want to track these down, there is a good chance your resort has them too. Bottom Line We came in with moderate expectations and left genuinely impressed. The Street Corn Fries at Everything POP are a fun, flavorful, affordable snack that we would absolutely order again. If you find yourself at Pop Century, do not walk past this one. Looking for more recent reviews around Disney World? Check out our posts below! More Recent Reviews! 18. You may have noticed some of your favorite smiling faces around Walt Disney World debuting fresh new ‘fits thanks to our creative Disney Live Entertainment Costuming team, who work diligently behind the seams to create cast member costumes that are both fun and functional. In honor of Fashion Week, we’re breaking down these latest Disney designs! Here’s a preview of these updated looks before we jump in: Bright New Parking Costumes Zoom into Action Ready. Set. Launch! Bright new costumes are zooming into the wardrobes of our parking and auto plaza cast members. Straight from the sketchbook of Costume Designer Nicole, this new costume features the iconic Walt Disney World Mickey globe logo and sketches of famous vehicles from Walt Disney World attractions and Disney Animation. Whether you’re a fan of classics like Herbie the Love Bug or entering the grid with your favorite attraction, TRON Lightcycle / Run, this adorable print has something for everyone. Beyond the print, the raglan sleeves provide movement while the thoughtful epaulette (shoulder pieces) offer functionality. Each and every element was intentionally chosen by a cast member. The whole team takes pride in the design and production of this thoughtfully crafted costume. “Bringing more Disney storytelling to the parking costumes was very important to us,” Nicole said. “We tried to find the best balance of past, present, and future with the vehicles and iconography chosen for this design, hoping they would bring smiles and fond memories to our cast and guests.” Flora Fun Sprouts Across The Land Pavilion Just like nature gives us new beginnings, the team wanted to breathe new life into cast costumes for The Land Pavilion in EPCOT. Some of the unique new costumes in this collection feature a print with a timeless twist: an abstract rendition of the pavilion’s original icon in an organic, impressionist style, inspired by the windswept art throughout The Land. Josh, a Costume Designer for this project, wanted to stay true to the history and vintage nostalgia of EPCOT when working on these pieces. “We tried to find instances where we could bring that vintage EPCOT story into these costumes in a way that still felt true to the individual areas and roles, which all have their own separate aesthetics,” Josh said. Next time you visit Living with the Land, be sure to check out the beautiful mural work across the ride loading platform. Fun fact: It was a huge inspiration for the overall look of these costumes! Cue the Fireworks, Flora, and Hidden Surprises One of the most iconic parts of the day at Magic Kingdom is the firework show at the end of the night. So, the costuming team decided to bring that flourish of magic to life through our outdoor vending cast costumes. A blue top with a custom chambray-inspired print flaunts art inspired by fireworks and natural flora found throughout the various lands and Magic Kingdom. But did you know there’s another hidden detail in this print? In the fashion world, designers often insert hidden details, surprises, or references that can only be seen if you take a closer look during the unveiling of a collection, and these new costumes are no different. In true Disney fashion, you can spot various hidden Mickeys strategically placed throughout the shirt! Comfort is key, so these costumes also feature updated performance style fabrics with stretch and UPF protection. To make sure these ‘fits function for our cast, the costuming team takes a comprehensive approach that includes cast feedback sessions, wear tests, try-ons, and even role shadows. This detailed approach and care given to each garment is a group effort. “We’re constantly sharing learnings and when one of us is successful, it’s a great win for all of us to incorporate into future projects,” Josh said. “Whether it’s a fabric, design, or style, it all helps us meet our ultimate goal – to focus on these important parts of the cast experience.” Disney Drivers Shine in Bus Roadeo Competition READ MORE Trivia and Teamwork at Goofy’s Mystery Tour 2026 READ MORE Orlando Honors Walt Disney World Announcement Site READ MORE The post Cast Couture: New Costume Designs to Look for at Disney World appeared first on Disney Parks Blog. 19. Do you DREAM of a Disney Fairy Tale Wedding? Wedding Pavilion If you’re a diehard Disney Adult and you dream of the day when you can say “I do” in front of a castle, tucked in a cozy gazebo at your favorite resort, or at Disney’s iconic Wedding Pavilion, you can make that happen! There are Disney Fairy Tale Wedding locations all around Disney World, and now we’re hearing straight from brides one thing they would go back and change from their Disney wedding. Planning a wedding at Walt Disney World sounds like a real-life fairytale, and for so many couples, it truly is. But even the most magical day can come with a few “if I could do it over again…” moments. We asked real Disney World brides what they would change about their big day, and their answers might surprise you. Here are 5 HUGE regrets brides had about their Disney World weddings, and what you can learn from them. Disney Wedding Pavilion 1. Not Hiring a Travel Advisor When you’re planning a wedding at Disney World, you’re not just planning a wedding; you’re coordinating vacations for dozens of guests. Crystal Lynn shared, “I know someone who regretted not hiring a travel advisor!! So. Many. Details, especially when you have a ton of your guests making their own vacays off of your wedding.” Between park tickets, resort stays, transportation, dining reservations, and special event logistics, it adds up quickly. A travel advisor who specializes in Disney destinations can help manage room blocks, itineraries, and guest questions, saving you from becoming the full-time trip planner for everyone attending your wedding. ©Disney 2. Not Taking Time to Actually Eat (and Enjoy) the Food Disney wedding food is a big deal, and couples often spend months tasting and selecting the perfect menu. But on the actual day? It can fly by. Rae Harper told us, “We were supposed to have been made to go plates, but that sadly didn’t happen, and we were so busy that neither of us got to eat as much as we wanted. The food was amazing, though.” Between photos, greeting guests, and sticking to the timeline, Rae and her spouse barely had time to eat the incredible meal they chose. Her advice? Build in intentional time to sit down together, or confirm those to-go plates are guaranteed. ©Disney 3. Starting the Day WAY Too Early Early morning ceremonies are iconic at Disney, but they come with a price. Rae also shared, “We would probably have chosen an afternoon wedding and evening reception… the wedding party had to start getting ready around 4:30/5 am. It made for a really long day. The best day. But a long one.” That sunrise castle moment may look dreamy, but the glam call time can be brutal. If you’re not a morning person (or want your wedding party fully energized for the reception), consider a later ceremony time to avoid exhaustion before the dance floor even opens. ©Disney 4. Not Building in Time (or Budget) for What Matters Most Disney weddings are known for being seamless, which can make the day move at lightning speed. Morgan reflected, “If I could tweak anything… I would have done a first look… it would have given us more time for photos and a few more quiet moments together before everything began. I also probably would have skipped the photo booth… If I were reallocating budget, I would have shifted that elsewhere, perhaps toward additional photography time or another experience for guests.” Morgan also noted a comfort factor many couples underestimate. “March in Florida sounds mild, but it was hot… we hosted [cocktail hour] in direct sun… for guest comfort alone I would have opted inside.” Morgan’s wedding took place at Disney’s iconic Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and even there, Florida weather proved unpredictable. Grand Floridian wedding pavilion 5. Not Slowing Down After the Wedding After months (or years) of planning, many couples head straight into park mode the next morning, but that might not always be the best move. Ron Combs shared, “Got married at Shades of Green. It was great. I would have taken the day after and not gone to the parks.” Instead of rope-dropping attractions, he wishes they had stayed back and relaxed with family and friends at Shades of Green on Walt Disney World Resort. Your wedding weekend flies by. Taking a resort day to decompress, swim, brunch, and soak it all in might be more meaningful than squeezing in one more ride. Shades of Green Here’s the most important thing: not one of these brides said they regretted having a Disney wedding. In fact, Morgan summed it up beautifully, “The day itself was everything I dreamed of as a little girl and more… It was magical, seamless, and unforgettable, and I would choose it all over again.” At the end of the day, weddings at Disney World are still larger-than-life experiences. But if you’re planning one, these real-life reflections might help you avoid a few “I wish we had…” moments, and make your happily ever after even sweeter. 23. Things are starting to heat up in Disney World as spring approaches, and that means having a water bottle that will keep your water cold all day is VERY important (because drinking hot water on a hot day? Yeah, that’s much harder to get yourself to do). Stanley IceFlow We’ve tried out SO many water bottles in Disney World in all different seasons, and there are only TWO that we find ourselves being consistently impressed by, and our team members even use them in the parks on their personal days when they’re not reporting. If you’re heading into the parks this spring and summer and need a water bottle that will absolutely keep your water ice cold all day, these are the two we recommend! DISCLOSURE: This post may contain affiliate links, meaning when you click the links and make a purchase, we receive a commission. Owalas! Rapunzel Owala Starting off very strong, we have the Owala water bottles! There are so many different designs out there, but it doesn’t matter in our experience — each one does a fantastic job, but we do love that there are Disney-themed Owalas out there! Not only does it do a great job keeping your water cold and ice from melting throughout the day, but we’re big fans of the spout at the top. You can use the straw inside the water bottle, or the gulp feature, and the soft close spout locks with the handle to ensure it doesn’t open and spill as you go about your park day. Hooray for no accidental germs! The inside! It’s also easy to take it apart to clean, which is another big deal for us. One of our biggest pet peeves with water bottles, other than ease of cleaning, is when water bottles sweat on the outside, and the condensation gets over everything. The Owalas don’t have that issue, so you won’t need to worry about everything else in your bag getting wet because of it. Having it on our park days definitely makes our lives easier, and it isn’t as much of a struggle to keep ourselves hydrated. Check out on Amazon! Stanley IceFlow For The Win Stanley IceFlow If you’re not an Owala person, the Stanley IceFlow is another fantastic choice that we have never regretted using in the parks. It also does a great job keeping water nice and cold throughout the day, and doesn’t struggle with sweating either. This one is even EASIER to clean than the Owalas, which is saying something, and since the handle flips down, it’s very easy to carry around. Stanley IceFlow! Now, if you’re worried about germs, there’s nothing covering one side of the spout, so that’s one thing to keep in mind, but if you’re looking for a water bottle that will really keep ice cold for hours, this is the way to go! Check out on Amazon! We’ll be sure to keep bringing you the latest and greatest Disney news and tips to help you plan the best trip ever, so stay tuned to DFB! View the full article
  24. Dining around the world in EPCOT is a thing, and it’s something we ALL love to do. Now, we’ve been to EVERY restaurant in EPCOT, and we have our favorites, but it’s just so cool to be able to try out all these international flavors in one place, right? Nine Dragons Restaurant Anyway, we’re heading to China for our latest dining adventure, and there’s one restaurant that we don’t really talk about much, but maybe we should. That’s Nine Dragons Restaurant. Well, we recently visited Nine Dragons to see if it served up Chinese food that’s better than what we would normally order from DoorDash. Atmosphere Nine Dragons is a table service restaurant that’s open for lunch from 12 PM to 2:55 PM and dinner from 3 PM to 9 PM. The exterior of Nine Dragons is HUGE, and it’s hard to miss if you’re looking for it within the China Pavilion. Nine Dragons Once you walk inside, you’ll see the host stand in the waiting room. Immediately, the gorgeous, intricately carved woodwork, gold details, jade walls, and columns will blow you away. You’ll also find the bathrooms here (which are shared with Lotus Blossom Cafe). Waiting area Inside, Nine Dragons has a whole lot of atmosphere, and that atmosphere is quiet and dark. Honestly, that might be enough to sell you on the restaurant just from that description alone. It’s a huge perk on those busy Disney World days! This is a great spot to get away from the crowds and have a meal without feeling like there are a million distractions around you. The main dining room does have windows at the back of the restaurant, so on sunny days, it isn’t quite as dark. However, at night, you might have trouble seeing the menu. It’s dark in here! We also love the ambiance of this restaurant, with decor that feels elegant. We’re talking mahogany accents, intricately carved wood, and muted colors. The restaurant has three sections: a main dining room, a smaller dining area separated by a wall divider, and an intimate back room. Wherever you sit, be sure to take notice of some of the details. Near the kitchen area, you’ll see nine small windows, each decorated with a colorful glass dragon — hence, the restaurant’s name! Dragons! The lighting throughout the restaurant resembles Chinese paper lanterns, which we think is so clever! Look at those lights! There is plenty of seating available with tables and chairs. Place settings include cloth napkins and silverware. Nine Dragons But enough about the restaurant — what’s on the menu here?! Menu Sitting on your table, you’ll find a small menu of both alcoholic drinks available… Alcoholic Drinks …as well as the Desserts. Desserts On the actual menu, you’ll find a number of familiar-sounding dishes if you often order Chinese food or enjoy dining at Chinese restaurants when you eat out. We’re talking appetizers like Cheesy Crab Wontons, Vegetable Spring Rolls, General Tso’s Chicken Shumai, and more. Entrees include items like Honey Sesame Chicken, Spicy Honey Crispy Chicken, Dry-Braised Prawns, Smoked Duck Fried Rice, and so much more. Menu And now, onto the main event — the food! Drinks To drink, we picked up the Dragon Fruit Frozen for $16, which is Dragon Fruit, Rum, Cosmo Mixer, Lemon and Pineapple Juices Slushy. Dragon Fruit Frozen If you’re someone who wants an alcoholic drink without tasting the alcohol in an overwhelming way, this is a great drink for you! You can taste the rum, but it doesn’t take away from the sweetness and tangy flavor of the drink itself. It’s refreshing without being overly sweet, and we’d honestly even say it’s a little dangerous in that regard — it goes down super easy and is so good, you may find yourself drinking it a little quicker than anticipated! Eats For our appetizer, we grabbed the Wontons in Chili Oil for $14, which are steamed wontons filled with shrimp, crab, and chicken, and Sichuan chili broth. Wontons in Chili Oil This was fantastic! In each bite, we got tastes of both chicken and crab, and it all blended beautifully. The wontons are soft on the outside, but firm on the inside, and that texture was fantastic. The chili oil does add some kick, so be aware of that, but even if you’re spice-adverse, we think this is manageable and delicious enough to absolutely try. Our only complaint is that it’s an appetizer, because we wanted more! This was fantastic! Moving on to the main entree, we tried the Kung Pao Duo for $28, which is Stir-fried chicken, shrimp, unsalted roasted peanuts, scallion, and dried chili pepper. Kung Pao Duo You get your choice of rice on the side, and we decided to go with white rice. Plain Rice This was another hit for us! The shrimp is cooked perfectly, as it’s firm, not too soft at all. The chicken also has great texture, and the peanuts give it a unique flavor that balances out the meatiness from both the chicken and shrimp. We really liked that the rice came on the side, as then we could choose how much rice we wanted with each bite. Interestingly enough, this had more of a kick than our appetizer, so if you’re not a spice fan, this likely will be too much for you! We loved this dish! Time for dessert! We grabbed the Chocolate Hazelnut Crepe Cake for $13, which is nine layers of light and soft crepes interlaced with delicate whipped cream. Chocolate Hazelnut Crepe Cake Unfortunately, this one looked better than it tasted. It wasn’t that it was bad, necessarily, but there wasn’t a lot of flavor, and it certainly wasn’t sweet like we were expecting it to be. All of the flavor really comes from the chocolate mousse, while the crêpes are just there for more of a texture feel. The treat itself is very light and very fluffy, and you’ll likely eat it fast because it IS easy to eat, but we were just left wanting more, especially with a $13 price tag! Overall, the food was an inch above your typical Chinese takeout spot at home. It hit the spot, but the portions were not as big as we’d hoped for the prices. Nosh or Not This Disney World restaurant is a must-visit if… You’re looking for Chinese food that’s better than what you’ll find at your local takeout restaurant. The food here is likely better than your hometown Chinese cuisine, featuring Cantonese, Mongolian, Szechuan, Hunan and Kiangche-style dishes. We’ve had some excellent meals here! You want to have a sit-down meal in a lovely setting. While there are certainly more unique places to dine at EPCOT, the setting here is upscale and grand and really makes you feel like you’ve been transported to China. You’re looking for a nice, relatively chill place to take a break while you eat. We found this restaurant to be very relaxing, not overwhelming, and crowd-free, which is essential on a hot, busy park day. You should skip this Disney World spot if… You’re not a fan of Chinese food. If you know that this type of cuisine isn’t for you, it’s best to skip this spot! You yourself are picky, or you’re dining with picky kiddos. The menu here isn’t very picky-eater-friendly, so if you know members of your party are going to struggle with finding something on the menu, we recommend picking another spot. You want something light. A table service meal often isn’t the best place to go for a lighter meal in general, especially because you want to get the best bang for your buck, but this food is especially on the heavier side, so keep that in mind! Overall We think for diners who know they love this style of cuisine, and they’re looking for a more upscale meal without paying an arm and a leg, this is a good spot to try. It’s rare we’re full-on disappointed here. Sure, there are a few items we wouldn’t get again, but we had some truly spectacular dishes here this trip, and that’s been the same case for the majority of our trips here. In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for more restaurant updates from Disney World and beyond.
