Minnie or Mickey ears sometimes sell out fast in Disney World! So when we spot a new pair of ears, we let you know ASAP so you can grab a pair before they’re gone! Minnie Ears galore! But today, a not-so-new pair of ears has sold out. We checked in today at the Flower and Garden merchandise stand in EPCOT to see how well stocked the Orange Bird ears were, and we were shocked to learn that they are indeed sold out! At this year’s Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival, you can celebrate a bit of Flower and Garden, too! Select menu items are available at the food booths, and of course, you can still snap a pic with the Remy topiary! Remy at the France pavilion for Food & Wine Festival But perhaps the sweetest part of this arrangement is that most of the Flower and Garden merchandise is available for purchase! Food and Wine merchandise will arrive later this year, but until then, there’s plenty of Orange Bird-themed swag to add to your collection! Flower and Garden merchandise at this year’s ” Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival” Although there is LOTS of Orange Bird merchandise, we were told by a Cast Member that the Orange Bird ears are officially SOLD OUT! Cue our tears. Orange Bird Minnie Ears There’s no word yet on whether Disney will restock these ears before the Food and Wine merchandise arrives, but if we happen to spot them, we will be sure to let you know! Another Disney World resort hotel reopened today and we’re stopping by to check everything out. Caribbean Beach Resort Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is the most recent Disney World resort hotel to reopen and, of course, there are new health and safety measures. So, let’s take a look at all the changes in Caribbean Beach! When we arrived, things look much the same as they did prior to the closures outside the hotel. There is some added health signage and everyone is in masks, but they are still smiling (we think!). Cast Members waived at us with Mickey gloves to welcome us back. Caribbean Beach Resort There were plenty of greeting Cast Members inside as well to help guests have the easiest check-in possible. Caribbean Beach Resort Reopening We noticed that the lobby had several spots marked as unavailable so that guests can remain socially distanced when sitting around the lobby. Lobby Signage Disney is encouraging Online Check-In for the resort hotels so that guests can skip the front desk. This is available and posted at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. Mobile Check In The general “Health and Safet Reminders” sign is posted around the general areas. Health and Safety Signage Overall, the resort was pretty empty today, much like the others when they opened. Empty Caribbean Beach But you could still grab a seat and watch the Skyliner go by. And yes — the Skyliner is available! You can read more about the changes to the Disney Skyliner Gondola system here. Seating Centertown Market We took a look over at Centertown Market to see the changes in the quick-service dining spot. Centertown Market Physical distancing markers are placed in areas where guests may need to queue and there are directional arrows to help keep traffic moving smoothly. Centertown Market The seating within the restaurant is all spaced six feet apart. Remember, guests seating at dining tables are able to remove their masks while they eat. Centertown Market This alcove has the zone stickers to keep parties separated in the space. Centertown Market Sebastian’s Bistro Sebastian’s Bistro remains closed. Sebastian’s Bistro However, we did notice that there were markers in place near the entrance of the restaurant where guests might wait when it DOES reopen. Sebastian’s Bistro Pools The pools were open and a lifeguard was on duty! You’ll notice that there is signage asking guests to not move the pool chairs. They have been appropriately spaced for social distancing. Caribbean Beach Pool The pool bar, Banana Cabana, was open with social distancing signage and QR code menu options. Banana Cabana Caribbean Cay The island across the bridge, Caribbean Cay was open today, as well, with rocking benches and gazebos available for guest use. Caribbean Cay Unsurprisingly, the playground was closed in line with the policy at the rest of the resort. Playground It’s always interesting to see how these resorts have changed in a reopened Disney World. Stay tuned to DFB for all of the latest updates! Disney World has reopened in the midst of the global health crisis, and they’ve gone to great lengths to keep everyone safe. Guest Relations Cast Member With limited capacity and added health measures, the Disney parks are certainly a controlled environment. Still, there are some folks that we worry about in the reopened Disney World — the Cast Members. This whole thing has been hard on the people who are MOST responsible for keeping the magic alive in Disney World. The closures were challenging for many Cast Members. When we say that the closures have been hard on the Cast Members, we’re thinking first of the months of uncertainty. Unfortunately, the closure of the Disney parks was so unprecedented that Cast Members were caught off guard and later left out of work and in the dark for weeks. Many went into this envisioning being home for a few DAYS, not MONTHS. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train In March, Disney first suspended the Disney College Program, the Culinary Program, the Cultural Exchange Program, and the Academic Exchange Program. Cast Members from these programs were sent home as quickly as possible, and some of these programs are still suspended. Disney executives expressed support, but these Cast Members had suddenly lost their jobs — and that wasn’t the end of things. Soon after, most other Cast Members were sent home. At first, Disney noted that they would continue paying their full-time employees for a couple of weeks, but on April 19th, Disney furloughed over half of its Cast Members through a series of union agreements. Full-time Cast Members were able to keep their health insurance, but they weren’t getting a paycheck during this time. Cast Members Cleaning prior to the Closure With no sign of the parks reopening, Cast Members then had the option to file for unemployment, but that wasn’t easy. At-home protests soon broke out in response to the difficulties of accessing the unemployment system in the state. If a Cast Member was unable to get through the unemployment system, their hardships faced during the closures could be even more challenging. Click here to learn more about the financial reasons behind the furloughs. As the closure came to an end, folks were slowly called back to work — and there were mixed feelings from the Cast Members. A limited number of Cast Members returned to work when Disney Springs reopened in late May. When it was announced that some resorts would begin to reopen in June and the parks would follow in July, Cast Members were slowly called back to work, accompanied by more union agreements. Cast Member Disney shared that some Cast Members were super excited to start getting back to work. We spoke with a lot of Cast Members in the early days of opening at Disney Springs who shared this sentiment. Hand-washing station On the other hand, some were not as excited. Per CNBC, some Cast Members petitioned for the parks to remain closed. Upon returning, Cast Members were re-learning jobs that were updated to include new health and safety protocol. And this came with lots of questions. How does a Cast Member safely check a child’s height now? If a guest needs assistance buckling their seatbelt on a ride, can the Cast Member help? Cast Members Cleaning More importantly, what if a guest isn’t complying with the new protocol? What if something goes wrong? These are new questions that Cast Members are expertly navigating. But your patience is always helpful. Click here to see Disney World’s welcome-back message to Cast Members! Disney has put significant safety measures in place to protect Cast Members, but is it enough? Amusement parks, when fully complying with all recommended guidelines, are considered a moderate risk setting by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Disney has gone to great lengths to install new health and safety measures to protect guests and Cast Members. Unfortunately, there’s no certainty that they 100% protect everyone. Cast Member Union Cast Members who do get sick and need to quarantine will be guaranteed time off. Disney is hoping to avoid this situation by helping to keep Cast Members distanced and safe with the use of Mobile Order, plexiglass shields, and providing face masks and face shields. Mickey and Minnie in EPCOT Overall, Disney has met and exceeded the guidelines set forth by government and health officials. But we all know that going anywhere besides one’s home is a risk these days. Click here to learn more about the union agreements for Cast Member safety. We’re worried that some guests might mistreat Cast Members as they try to enforce the rules. Today, Cast Members have some added responsibilities that weren’t part of their original job duties. Cast Members are in charge of making sure guests socially distance and wear a mask at all times. As was the case with park regulations before the closures, Cast Members don’t make the rules and (whether they agree with the rules or not) may not have an easy time enforcing them; so we’re especially worried about those guests who may be resistant. Cast Members Unfortunately, we have spoken with some Cast Members who have already dealt with some mistreatment from guests. The social distancing squad (a new yellow-shirted team charged with enforcing the new rules) have dealt with namecalling from guests and some have shared with us that they have opted to walk in pairs so as to not be confronted by an angry guest alone. Cast Members have been a huge positive part of the reopening of the theme parks. They are doing a lot to keep us safe and happy and we would hope guests would show them the same courtesy. EPCOT Cast Members Line Up to Welcome Guests Home Remember, every single guest has a CHOICE as to whether they want to spend their time in Disney World. And while Cast Members also technically have a choice as to whether or not they want to work in Disney World right now, many have financial obligations that make keeping their job a necessity. Click here to learn more about how Disney is enforcing the new requirements. What can WE do to help? Here’s what YOU can do to help Cast Members do their jobs during this somewhat challenging time. By going to Disney World right now, you’re assuming the responsibility of following ALL of the rules. Keep your mask on and socially distance, and DON’T get upset with a Cast Member for reminding you to do so — they’re really, truly just doing their jobs. Cast Member Cast Members have to follow these rules too. In fact, while you’re standing in the Florida heat in a face mask, many of them are required to do the same in a mask AND a face shield. You can head to a relaxation station or make an Advance Dining Reservation for a break from your face covering at will, but the Cast has to make use of their limited work breaks. Cast Member Cleaning Plus, it’s now a (very new) part of their job to enforce these new rules. These folks are real people. Some of them may not agree with all of Disney’s rules and some of them may be anxious about being around so many people when health is such a concern. They will STILL be enforcing Disney’s requirements and helping guests navigate a reopened Disney World. Cast Members at Topolino’s Terrace So again, follow the rules in the first place. Wear your mask and keep your distance. If a Cast Member DOES ask you to do something differently, listen, and be kind about it. Please don’t try to cheat the system or trick Cast Members into thinking you’re following the rules. Just follow them. Cast Members Disney has instituted the current measures for guest AND Cast Member safety. Regardless of politics or preference, you’re agreeing to Disney’s measures (wear a mask, physical distance, listen to Cast Members) by arriving on property. This is just like how you agree not to wear offensive clothing or smoke in the parks. One great step forward is to learn what will be expected of you in a reopened Disney World. If you don’t feel comfortable agreeing to wear a mask all the time (or anything else now mandated), you might need to postpone your trip. Cast Member Of course, most guests are doing a great job following the rules. For all of the bad stories, we’ve heard quite a few good ones. This is a challenging time for all of us, Cast Members included, and it’s important that we are courteous to one another. Especially right now, remember to be KIND. A smile (with your eyes of course!) and a little bit of patience can go along way. Click here for some tips to navigating a reopened Disney World! Want to show some appreciation for Cast Members? It’s been an exciting couple of weeks during the phased reopening of Walt Disney World as we’ve welcomed Guests back to our parks and resorts. This weekend, our animal care team at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park got to welcome a “colorful” addition to the animal family, too! On Saturday, July 25, a mandrill infant was born to first-time father, Linus, and mother, Scarlett. Mom and baby are doing well and spending lots of time bonding. In fact, their bond is so close that at the baby’s neonatal exam, our veterinary team wasn’t able to determine if the baby is a boy or a girl just yet, because mom is keeping the infant so close to her belly. Scarlett and baby have already begun making short appearances in their habitat on the Kilimanjaro Safari, joining the other members of their mandrill troop. As soon as we determine the gender and name, I’ll share on my Instagram, @drmarkatdisney, so stay tuned there! While this little one is pretty tiny now, mandrills are actually the largest species of monkey in the world. They’re a vulnerable species found in African rainforests along the equator, where their habitat is disappearing because of deforestation and poaching. This birth is an example of how our dedicated and highly trained team of Disney animal care experts works with the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) on Species Survival Plans (SSPs). The SSP assures responsible breeding for endangered species, such as mandrill monkeys, allowing for a healthy and genetically diverse population of such animals for years to come. Just this past May, we welcomed an adorable babirusa piglet, yet another success story of breeding through the SSP. The exciting news from Animals, Science and Environment doesn’t stop there. In case you missed it, last week we announced an upcoming Disney+ series called “The Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom” where you’ll get a peek behind-the-scenes as the stories of these animal care experts and the animals they care for come to life this fall on Disney+. In fact, you might even see some of our mandrills in one of the episodes. From National Geographic, the global leader in natural-history programming, and premiering on Disney+, this new series will give viewers a one-of-a-kind look into the daily operation of our advanced animal care and veterinary facilities at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park and The Seas with Nemo & Friends at EPCOT and will showcase the dedication and expertise of our amazing cast members. Stay tuned for more about “The Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom,” coming to Disney+ this fall! View the full article

There may be some stormy weather on the horizon for Disney World. Walt Disney World Entrance June 1st marked the official start of the 2020 hurricane season — one that analysts are saying will be overactive. Now, a storm system is headed in the direction of Florida, and there’s a significant chance that it will reach tropical storm strength by the time it blows through the tropics. According to WESH, Tropical Cyclone Nine is currently moving towards the islands and there is a 90% chance that the storm will reach tropical storm status. If it does, it will be named Tropical Storm Isaias. Note that Isaias would be the earliest recorded storm to begin with an “I;” the season has already been a record-setting one when it comes to activity. ©WESH Meteorologists have noted that unorganized storms such as this one are hard to predict, but the current forecast cone shows the cyclone running along the Western coast of Florida. Keep in mind, the final day forecast has an error radius of 192 miles, so it’s possible the storm could hit central Florida or could have a path much further to the left. ©WESH We’re not yet sure the level of impact that potential Tropical Storm Isaias will have on Florida, but it’s a good idea to be prepared if you’re in Disney World this weekend or early next week. Disney has not yet issued a response to the storm, but we’ll be keeping a close eye out for when they do and on the storm system itself. Stay tuned. You’re about to hit that booking window for your Advance Dining Reservations for your big Disney World vacation, but you’re REALLY wanting to try something different from your usual stomping grounds in the parks. Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom Although there are so many places to eat in Disney World for every kind of guest, sometimes WHERE you sit in a restaurant can bring some extra magic. Or…it can be a disaster for your dining experience! To make sure you avoid the mishaps, we’ve rounded up some of the best AND worst tables in Disney World. These tips and tricks might just help you get the best seat in the house the next time you visit! The Best Restaurant Tables in Disney World If you want these tables at Disney World’s restaurants, note that you may have to ask ahead of time when you get to the restaurant! This means you might have to wait longer until the table is available, but it can totally be worth the wait if you really want the experience! Skipper Canteen While Skipper Canteen is a hidden gem tucked away next to the Jungle Cruise with some of the crunchiest fried chicken on property, the restaurant also houses the gorgeous Butterfly Booth. This spot is a round seating area in the not-so-secretive S.E.A. room that can fit a bigger party (or be just as comfortable for a smaller group of people). Jungle Skipper Canteen Sign It’s a little bit more secluded from other guests since it’s attached to the wall and away from the main seating area. Although it’s definitely cozy, the Butterfly Booth also has a beautiful atmosphere with dozens of butterflies framed against the walls. Butterfly Booth It can be entertaining (and educational!) for whoever is sitting there to try and look up each butterfly species over the course of their meal. Butterfly Booth How many have YOU been able to identify?? Go on a tour of Skipper Canteen in Disney World with us here! La Hacienda de San Angel If you’re a big fan of kicking back, relaxing, and eating a meal while you watch a show, La Hacienda de San Angel in Epcot’s Mexico Pavilion is for you! This is one of very few table service locations in World Showcase that overlook the lagoon. This means — if you time your dinner right — you can get a GREAT view of the nighttime fireworks from your table! La Hacienda de San Angel This location has giant windows so nearly the whole restaurant can watch the fireworks at night but some tables are better than others. There are three main areas of this restaurant: the big comfy booths along the back wall (which are elevated and still have a decent, front-facing view of the windows not too far away), a slew of tables in the middle of the restaurant with hit or miss views, depending on your location, or the BEST firework views — the tables RIGHT at the windows. IllumiNations We DO want to note that one time we were at La Hacienda, we asked for a table with “a fireworks view” but we were placed on the opposite end of the restaurant where our view was obstructed. Yeahhh, some are definitely better than others, so be sure to ask. Seating and Tables at La Hacienda If you’re dining at La Hacienda and want to be able to watch Epcot Forever or HarmoniUS soon, make sure to let your server know exactly where you’d like to sit to get a view of the show! Hacienda de San Angel Seating They will do their best to accommodate you (so be patient if it takes a bit longer to get you a table in the seating area you’d like). Click here for one of our reviews of La Hacienda de San Angel! The Boathouse We couldn’t make a “favorite tables” list without the BOAT BOOTH, now could we?? Over at The Boathouse in Disney Springs, one of the seating options is literally an entire boat converted into a table. You will obvi be the envy of the entire restaurant if you’re sitting here. Boat Booth Seating Since it’s so spacious, it’s a super relaxing spot to unwind after a long day in the parks. The only negative, it’s right behind the host stand at the front of the restaurant, so it doesn’t have a great view of the lake outside. Boat Booth — Another View The Boat Booth is an extremely cool photo-op that you don’t want to miss out on when you’re visiting (and sipping on a Rubber Duck Drink, of course!). The Boathouse Disney Springs There is only ONE though, so if you’re looking for this coveted table, you might have to set up shop and wait for a while. Be sure to ask when you check in! We’ve got a booking tip you might not know for Disney Springs restaurants here! 50’s Prime Time Cafe Remember the days your mom would say that you’d have to wait until after dinner to watch TV?? Well, this “mom and pop joint” in Disney’s Hollywood Studios encourages ALL the TV watching as you drink a Peanut Butter and Jelly Milkshake and indulge in some Fried Herb and Garlic Cheese (we’re totally craving this now). 50’s Prime Time Cafe at Hollywood Studios Instead of dining in the 21st century, you get to take a trip back to the 1950s at 50’s Prime Time Cafe as you watch the most popular shows and movies from the decade. But note that not ALL spots here have a TV set at the dinner table. Some are standard tables and chairs sans extra entertainment, so if you want to watch the tube while you dine, ASK for a TV table before you’re seated! Seating at 50s Prime Time Cafe That extra bit of entertainment with your meal is fun for anyone who enjoys nostalgia. But, it’s also a nice break for the kids to be able to wind down and watch TV for a bit before going back into Hollywood Studios. These are the 31 things you’re going to want to eat in Disney World if you love cheese! Sana’a Animal lovers, assemble!! If you make the trek over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge (or you’re staying at the resort), you’ll know that one of the biggest appeals is the African savanna full of gorgeous animals right outside. Although there are plenty of great places to eat across Jambo House and Kidani Village at Animal Kingdom Lodge, you might want to consider Sana’a as your next stop ESPECIALLY for its great view. Sanaa If you request a window table, you can have the unique experience of getting up close and personal with the savanna animals while you dine! Some might even come RIGHT up to your window to say hello during your meal! Animal View We’ve found that the best time to eat at Sanaa to catch the animals is midday for lunch or early afternoon. If you choose the morning, the animals might not be out for the day yet. On the other hand, nighttime could be too dark to see the animals outside. You’ll be able to catch at least a few of your favorite animals roaming about in the afternoon to welcome guests to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge! Sanaa Bread Service There are limited tables at the windows though and, while you can still get a great view of the animals at non-window tables, if you REALLY want a good view, ask to be seated near the glass. Want to know where to eat at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge? Take a look here! Tony’s Town Square Restaurant While we enjoy a lovely bella notte, you’re going to want to head to Tony’s Town Square Restaurant for lunch the next time you’re in the Magic Kingdom! We all know that it can be really difficult to find a great spot for the Festival of Fantasy parade (especially when the sun is beaming down on you). Festival of Fantasy But, Tony’s offers patio tables outside the restaurant that will actually give you a unique view of the parade as you eat! However, the patio tables are not air-conditioned, so they may not be ideal for everyone on a particularly hot day. Patio Seating and View Still, we think they’re worth it so you don’t have to spend a chunk of your park time looking for a spot since you’ve got your own shaded seat at Tony’s! (Pasta and a parade? Win-win!!) Note that parades aren’t happening at the moment in Disney World. Stay tuned to DFB to see when they’ll return! Check out these hidden secrets at Disney World restaurants! The Worst Restaurant Tables in Disney World ‘Ohana We have a VERY strong love for the ‘Ohana Bread Pudding (and we honestly would go all the way to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort just to get it). Although ‘Ohaha can be a super fun experience when you get to hug Lilo and Stitch during breakfast, there are a few spots around the dining room you’ll want to avoid. Aloha, Lilo! The tables in the corner of the restaurant closest to the open kitchen can get really noisy. As the servers are coming and going, you can hear everything that is going on in the kitchen (which can be a pain when you’re trying to have a conversation with your dining companions). ‘Ohana Although the fire pits may LOOK cool, you might want to skip out on having a table near them. If you’re wanting to watch the fireworks from Magic Kingdom during the dinner show, the fire pits can often obstruct your view of the windows as well. ‘Ohana Bread Pudding If you ARE dining at dinnertime, before you’re seated, ask your server if you can be placed at a window table or a center table without an obstructed view so you can watch Happily Ever After while you eat! There are tables behind the fire pits that have no view whatsoever of the Magic Kingdom. Avoid those! Note that ‘Ohana is not open at press time. Stay tuned to Disney Food Blog for details on its reopening! California Grill Since California Grill is located on the rooftop of Disney’s Contemporary Resort next door to Magic Kingdom, one of the big reasons to dine at the restaurant is for the fireworks views it offers. However, certain tables can prevent you from seeing anything, which can be frustrating since that’s one of the biggest reasons to visit! View from California Grill In a smaller room on the opposite side of the windows that overlook Magic Kingdom, there are issues with obstructed views. If you’re seated at those tables, there won’t be fireworks views. California Grill When you arrive to the restaurant, we recommend seeing if you can be seated by the windows that have a theme park view if you want the best location. You can also go to California Grill’s Lounge as another nearby place to watch the show! California Grill Lounge Keep in mind that even if you don’t score a prime view at your table, you can go out on the connected observation deck during the show for a clear view. Observation Deck Note that California Grill IS open at the moment, but fireworks views won’t be possible while the nighttime spectacular is not running. Here’s everything you should eat at Disney’s Contemporary Resort! San Angel Inn San Angel Inn is one of the most uniquely decorated restaurants in Disney World since you get to overlook the inside of Epcot’s Mexico Pavilion (awesome, right??). San Angel Restaurant Entrance Well, your views could take a turn for the worse if you’re placed down by the tables near the bathroom. They’re practically a double whammy since guests are going in and out of the bathrooms as well as servers making their way to and from the kitchens constantly. All we can say is that nobody wants to be near the bathroom area when they’re trying to have a meal. You also won’t have ANY view of the awesome Mayan temple and Grand Fiesta Tour (and that’s seriously SO MUCH of the appeal of eating here!). San Angel Inn Seating However, one of the BEST places to ask for a table near is right at the edge of the water where San Angel Inn gazes out over the Gran Fiesta Tour, the Mayan Pyramid, and the steaming volcano. It’s a great place to sit since you can also take in the smell of that infamous Disney World water while you’re dining (we KNOW some of you love that smell as much as we do!). Waterside seating Honestly, most tables in the main section of the restaurant are cool and really do make you feel like you’re outside. You’ll be fine as long as you don’t get stuck down by the bathroom so, once again, ask when you check-in! These moments proved that Disney World can literally market ANYTHING! Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue If you’re looking to eat buckets and buckets of fried chicken and ribs in Disney World, the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is the place to do it at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. Since the building is structured like a theater (you are watching a show after all), there are bound to be some better seats in the house than others. Strawberry Shortcake The tables that are up too high could make things hard to see onstage. To make matters worse, you could also receive obstructed views in the corner of the restaurant OR have your back to the stage! Even though you can’t request certain tables at Hoop-Dee-Doo since they’re all pre-mapped out, you can book the experience as a Tier 1 or Tier 2 experience to get a good table before you visit. Various Seating Arrangements These Tiers typically will land you good if not great views. Avoid Tier 3 unless you really want to experience the show on a lower budget. These are our favorite meals you won’t find in the parks at Disney World! Restaurants with Different Rooms Some of the places to dine in Disney World actually give you a unique experience when you visit, depending on where you’re sitting. A few restaurants across the property feature rooms that are very unique. View From Our Table at Skipper Canteen Although it’s fun to point out the details in one room versus another, these restaurants can be a problem for people who want certain experiences. You may get put in a room that you don’t like, but another party member does. One room may be noisier than another within a restaurant, which could change your dining experience. Rose Gallery at Be Our Guest Restaurant While you may like the S.E.A. Room at Skipper Canteen, your family could be seated in the louder and a bit less interesting Mess Hall. Or, you might not be able to find a seat in the Ballroom at Be Our Guest Restaurant (even though it’s your favorite!). Be Our Guest Restaurant Ballroom We recommend asking when you check in at table-service locations to be seated in your preferred area. West Wing in Be Our Guest Restaurant Scope out your room choices at certain restaurants ahead of time and see where you’d like to enjoy your meal the most! You should eat this and NOT that in while you’re in Magic Kingdom! It’s a beautiful day to take a stroll along Disney’s BoardWalk! BoardWalk Inn We were checking out the sitch in EPCOT today when we figured we’d hop on over to the EPCOT area resorts to see if there were any new sights! Restaurant Updates You know us — we’re starting with the FOOD! Disney’s BoardWalk Inn At the BoardWalk Inn, there weren’t too many new things. But you know what they say, QUALITY over quantity! On top of the usual appetizers, this lounge is now offering an Angus Beef Cheeseburger for $17 and Cheddar Bacon Ranch Chicken Sandwich for $16 from 5PM to 10PM. Martha’s Vineyard The Beach Club Marketplace had a few notable desserts in the case. For one, there’s this white cake Christmas in July Cupcake that had it’s last day today. From tie-dyed everything to tees that are so unbelievably ’90s that we forgot we’re in the 21st century, Disney is REALLY leaning into the retro-inspired merch these days. And Disney World’s run of bright colors and bold prints has no end in sight, except this time, we’re traveling back in time to the 1980s! Get ready to Mousercise, ladies, because we spotted a neon yellow, cropped hoodie for women while browsing at EPCOT’s Gateway Gifts. Neon yellow cropped hoodie This VERY bright pullover features Walt Disney World in bold, bright blue lettering and a darker yellow Mickey Mouse underneath. It’s also cropped, with a raw edge and a boxy fit. So bright! We think this $44.99 hoodie will pair well with some Disney scrunchies, maybe some leggings, and your chunkiest sneakers! And, hey, your friends and family will have NO problem spotting you across World Showcase when you’re looking this bright! Click here to see even MORE retro tees we spotted at Disney World this week!
