There are plenty of food booths with tasty items, unique topiaries to check out, merchandise to grab (of course), and even concerts to watch. But don’t let it overwhelm you, we’ve got you covered with everything you need to know. And now we’re heading to one spot in particular — the Florida Fresh booth — to give you the FULL scoop! Is it worth a try? Let’s find out! Menu Over at Florida Fresh, you’ll find a variety of available items, some new and some familiar. Florida Fresh Menu Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself! ©Disney Eats First up, we grabbed the new item on the menu, the Conch Fritters for $6.50. The Conch Fritters are served with key lime aïoli. Conch Fritters with key lime aïoli The fritters were golden on the outside and tender on the inside — just the way you want them! We tasted lots of pepper and garlic notes. The fritters are tasty, but the key lime aïoli is the star of the show! We would describe it as a sour cream dip with a key lime twist. It is tart and the perfect accompaniment. Conch Fritters with key lime aïoli Ready for something sweet? Let’s dig into the Florida Strawberry Shortcake for $5. This is a vanilla pound cake, macerated strawberries, strawberry sauce, and whipped cream. Last year, this booth had a similar option, but it was plant-based. This year’s version is not indicated to be vegan, but we’re still hopeful that it’s tasty – let’s find out! Florida Strawberry Shortcake The pound cake was wonderfully buttery! The whipped cream was definitely not store-bought, and we loved how fresh it tasted. Getting a bit of whipped cream, cake, and strawberries in each bite led to perfection. We will definitely be back for some more strawberry shortcake at Florida Fresh! Pro tip — the strawberries dipped in the key lime aïoli was amazingly yummy! A dipping sauce of many talents! Florida Strawberry Shortcake Returning this year is an item that we really enjoyed last year! Mojo-marinated pork belly, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and stone-ground mustard sauce are all coming together for the Cubanito! Grab it for $6.75. Cubanito Last year, the bread was toasted well and even had a bit of crunch to it. The sandwich was full of meat, and we loved the tang from the pickle and mustard. Drinks Raise a glass of Cucumber-Watermelon Slushy for $5. When we had this drink last year, we found it a bit basic. We did like that the watermelon did not taste artificial. We could also taste the cucumber, which brightens up the drink and makes it fresh. You can also add some gin to transform this into a cocktail for $13. Cucumber-Watermelon Slushy Finally, on the menu are the new beers. Brewery Ommegang Melon Falls Watermelon Kolsch, Orange Blossom Brewing Co. Starlight Papaya Pilsner, and Southern Tier Brewing Co. Strawberry Shortcake Imperial Ale. You get individual pours for $5.75 or grab all three with the Beer Flight for $10.25. OVERALL This booth brought its A game with the new dishes — Conch Fritters and Florida Strawberry Shortcake. We really enjoyed both of these dishes. The key lime aïoli elevated the conch fritters to the next level, and we couldn’t help but fall in love with the flavors and freshness of the strawberry shortcake. We also enjoy the Cubanito and the Cucumber-Watermelon Slushy, but the Conch Fritters and Shortcake were the stars of this booth! Have you heard the news? The BUZZ-worthy booth at the 2025 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival is serving up some new and returning items, and you’ll want to stop by! 2025 booth Of course, we’re talking about The Honey Bee-Stro sponsored by The National Honey Board! This booth has become a staple at the festival, and its menu features dishes and drinks made with Winne the Pooh’s favorite ingredient — HONEY! Let’s take a look! Menu Over at The Honey Bee-Stro, you’ll find a solid lineup of returning items! We’re talkin’ some chicken and waffles, some zippy cauliflower, and a fruity collection of beverages! 2025 The Honey Bee-stro Menu Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself! Eats Our first dish is the Honey-glazed Cauliflower for $5. This is made with honey-roasted carrot purée, wild rice pilaf, spring vegetables, honey-blistered grapes, and sunflower brittle.This might pass as a vegetarian dish, but with the addition of honey, that means it isn’t truly “plant-based”! Last year, this dish was colorful, Instagrammable, and tasty! So, how is it this year? We’re happy to report that it STILL slaps this year. There are just so many wonderful flavors with this dish, both sweet and savory. It’s also nice and light, so you don’t feel weighed down after you eat it. Honey-glazed Cauliflower Returning this year is the Chicken and Waffles, featuring crispy chicken and a honey-sweet cornbread waffle topped with whipped honey butter and spicy honey. Last year, we enjoyed this dish, and the cornbread waffle reminded us of a hushpuppy. It is priced at $7. Chicken and Waffles Now, let’s wet our whistles! Drinks There are three returning beverages to try this year, so let’s check them out! First up, we got Honey-Peach Cobbler Freeze with streusel. You can get this as a non-alcoholic smoothie for $5 or add Blueberry Vodka for $13. When we had this before, we found it fluffy, foamy, and creamy. It’s so much fun, and we love the crumbles on top. We also think kids will like this. Honey-Peach Cobbler Freeze with Streusel Also returning to the Bee-Stro this year is the Florida Orange Groves Winery Orange Blossom Honey Wine for $6.50. Florida Orange Groves Winery Orange Blossom Honey Wine OVERALL This is a booth we just love every year, especially for that Cauliflower. But all the options here are pretty solid, and this one should certainly be on your “must-visit” list for the festival. Is Disney trying to sneak in a BIG change right under our noses?! Disney’s Hollywood Studios We all know Disney LOVES to drop little hints in their concept art, and we spotted something that has us raising some serious eyebrows. With Muppets Courtyard making way for the brand-new Monsters, Inc. Land in Hollywood Studios, we’ve been curious about what’s going to happen to the old Muppet*Vision 3D theater. And now, a tiny little detail in Disney’s concept art has us thinking that we’ve got a hint as to what show could be taking it over! We already knew that Hollywood Studios was getting a massive transformation. Between the new Little Mermaid show, the upcoming Villains show, and the Muppets-themed Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster retheme, there’s a LOT to look forward to. But when Disney announced that Monsters, Inc. Land would include a “whole new theater show,” we immediately started speculating about what that could mean. ©Disney At first, we figured the new show could be an entirely original concept. Maybe a brand-new Monsters, Inc. story told through a high-tech, immersive experience? But then we took a closer look at that concept art, and guess what we found? Tucked away near what used to be Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano, there’s a sign that looks VERY familiar. If you squint just right, you’ll see what appears to be a Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor sign hiding in plain sight! ©Disney For those who don’t know, Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor is an interactive comedy show currently over in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom. It’s been entertaining guests for years with its unique format, featuring animated monsters cracking jokes in real time (thanks to some very cool technology and live performers). Hi, Buddy! So, could Disney be planning to close the Magic Kingdom version and move the show over to Hollywood Studios, giving it a fresh home in Monsters, Inc. Land? If so, we’re curious to see whether the show remains the same or if Disney gives it an upgrade with new tech, fresh jokes, and an updated storyline. Laugh Floor And while we’re on the topic of theater transformations, we can’t help but hope that the old Muppet*Vision 3D space keeps a little nod to its history. Think about how Disneyland’s Winnie the Pooh ride left behind the old Country Bear Jamboree heads as a hidden Easter egg. Disneyland’s The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh Could Disney do something similar here? Maybe a little Gonzo or Kermit cameo somewhere in the queue or theater decor? ©Disney Of course, Disney hasn’t confirmed anything yet, and they love to keep us guessing. This could be a clever little Easter egg meant to tease us, or it could be a full-blown announcement hidden in plain sight. Spring has officially sprung at EPCOT with the arrival of the 2025 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival! 2025 Bauernmarkt Farmer’s Market Right up there among the event’s highlights of checking out the Festival’s gorgeous Disney-themed topiaries and Global Gardens and taking in a Garden Rocks Concert is eating and drinking your way around the Festival’s Outdoor Kitchen Food Booths! And right now, we’re hitting up one of our returning favorites — the Bauernmarkt: Farmer’s Market Outdoor Kitchen in the Germany Pavilion — to bring you our complete review. Menu What Bauernmarkt: Farmer’s Market lacks in new items (that is to say, there are none this year), it MORE than makes up with an abundance of returning favorites! The Booth’s Potato Pancakes (with either house-made applesauce or ham and onion), the Toasted Pretzel Bread, and Warm Cheese Strudel have become practically synonymous with the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival. 2025 Bauernmarkt Menu Beverages include the Bitburger Premium Pils, Stiegl Brewery Raspberry Radler, and Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier — each of which can be purchased individually or tried as part of the Beer Flight. The popular Apfelschaumwein is back, too! And with that we say, “Prost!” Let’s dig in! Eats There are two versions of the Potato Pancakes from which you can choose: the plant-based version with house-made applesauce and the version with ham and onion. First up, we’re trying the Potato Pancakes with house-made applesauce. Potato Pancakes with House-made Applesauce This plant-based dish costs $5.25 and is an option for guests participating in the Garden Graze food crawl. When we first saw this, our first thought was, “Why on Earth is there applesauce on potatoes?” But then we tried it, and we totally understood! The sweetness of the applesauce really complements the buttery savoriness of the potato pancakes, which are essentially smashed hashbrowns. It is a really interesting combination, but one we would totally recommend! Your other option? Potato Pancakes with ham and onion! Potato Pancake with ham and onions The ham-and-onion version costs $5.50, and is further topped with an herbed sour cream. In previous years, we’ve really enjoyed this option, finding that the salt from the ham is so nicely balanced with the sweetness from the caramelized onion, and the sour cream delivers another terrific boost to the flavor combo. Now, the reputation of the Toasted Pretzel Bread precedes itself; seriously, we look forward to its return EVERY YEAR! Why? Well, the Pretzel Bread itself is topped with black forest ham and oodles of melted cheese! Toasted Pretzel Bread Coming in at $6.00, this is typically a must-try item. But how does it it stack up this year? As expected, this rocked our world! It made our Best of the Fest list in 2024 and again this year! Everything complemented each other so well, especially the almost smokey flavor of the ham and the savory saltiness of the cheese. The bread has a hard pretzel exterior, but it is soft on the inside and oily in all the best places. We LOVE this! It’s always good to see the Warm Cheese Strudel with berry compote return to the Festival, as well. Warm Cheese Strudel with berry compote This lovely dessert costs $5.00. While the berry compote lends a bright and tart burst of flavor, it’s the sweet cheese tucked inside the light and flaky pastry that really elevate this dish. Warm Cheese Strudel with berry compote Last year, we did run into a small issue: our “Warm” Strudel was… well, it wasn’t served warm. But when it is, it’s a scrumptious dish! Oh, one final note: each food item is Disney Dining Plan snack credit eligible here at Bauernmarkt. Now, how about something to wash it all down? Drinks I can’t imagine much of anything that goes better with cheese-topped pretzel bread than Apfelschaumwein. Apfelschaumwein: Sparkling Wine and Apple Liqueur This returning Festival cocktail combines Apple Sparkling Wine and Apple Liqueur, and costs $10.50. Apfelschaumwein Yep, it’s basically apple juice for big kids , with lots of that sweet and classic apple flavor — as you’d anticipate — shining though. Just, you know… with a kick! All three beers are returning to Bauernmarkt this year, too: Bitburger Premium Pils, Stiegl Brewery Raspberry Radler, and the Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier. Bauernmarkt Beer Flight These are each priced at $5.75 for a 6 ounce pour, or $9.75 for a 12 ounce pour. Of course, you can always partake of all three in the Beer Flight for $10.25! Bauernmarkt Beer Flight While there’s not much that stands out with the Pils and Weissbier, we find that the Radler is the most unique of the three, following along the lines of a cider: fruity and sweet. OVERALL We are happy that once again, the Toasted Pretzel Bread was just as good as it was the year before! We love this item, and it is the reason why we will be heading to Germany over and over again during the duration of the Flower and Garden Festival! Everything from this booth felt fresh, which is exactly what we like to taste at the Flower and Garden Festival. Disney’s 2024 blockbuster Mufasa: The Lion King is coming to Disney+ THIS MARCH. ©Disney Dana Walden, the co-chairman of Disney Entertainment, confirmed the timeline at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media, and Telecom Conference on March 4th. While no date was specified other than “late March,” March 20th will mark a full three months since the film was raised in theaters, which could be the end of a contractual theatrical window. That’s somewhat quicker than usual. For example, Moana 2 will make its Disney+ debut four months after its theatrical release. Mufasa: The Lion King acts as a prequel (with a sequel-framing device) to 2019’s initial Lion King film. To date, the film has earned more than $700 million at the box office. While that total puts it in the Top seven for the year’s worldwide box office, it’s lower than the original, which earned over one billion in 2019 dollars. ©Disney The official synopsis for the Barry Jenkins-directed film reads as follows: “Exploring the unlikely rise of the beloved king of the Pride Lands, Mufasa: The Lion King enlists Rafiki to relay the legend of Mufasa to young lion cub Kiara, daughter of Simba and Nala, with Timon and Pumbaa lending their signature schtick. Told in flashbacks, the story introduces Mufasa as an orphaned cub, lost and alone until he meets a sympathetic lion named Taka—the heir to a royal bloodline. Sure, you may have heard of Disney’s Yacht Club, but have you heard of Yacht Grub? No? Then, allow us to introduce you to this BRAND-NEW food booth at the 2025 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival… Welcome to the Yacht Grub Outdoor Kitchen, inspired by Disney’s own Yacht Club Resort! 2025 Yacht Grub Booth That’s right! Yacht Grub joins the lineup of the Festival’s Outdoor Kitchen Food Booths this year, along with its counterpart, Beach Grub! In fact, Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts are literally just steps away from EPCOT’s International Gateway, so it’s fitting that they’re honored here at the Flower and Garden Festival this year. Let’s check out this new Booth so we can bring you our complete review… just like we’re doing with every single Outdoor Kitchen at the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival! Menu Like the Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, each of these new Outdoor Kitchens has its own vibe. Disney invites you to “sail on over” to Yacht Grub, “for dips, chips, charcuterie, artisanal cheeses and sparkling cocktails.” These all-new items include a Trio of Dips and Chips, a Meat Assorti, and Assorted Artisanal Cheeses and Accompaniments. 2025 Menu Three new “Sparkling Cocktails” have made it to the menu! You can try the Elderflower Sparkling Cocktail, the Lemon Sparkling Cocktail, or the Orange Sparkling Cocktail. And the Sparkling Cocktail Flight allows you to sip all three! Drop your anchor and get ready for a lovely Yacht Grub feast! Eats First up is the new Trio of Dips and Chips for $6.50. The trio consists of caramelized onion dip, whipped feta dip, and pimento cheese. The dips are served with house-made potato chips and caviar (!!!). Yes, CAVIAR! We’re loving how INTERESTING this is because it’s very elevated, even for a festival. First, you get a nice portion size, which always a bonus. The chips are crispy and tasty. Trio of Dips and Chips But these dips…they blew us out of the water. The pimento cheese dip was good (and note it’s on the milder side). We also appreciated the little pickle on top. The caramelized onion dip was FANTASTIC. It was creamy with big strings of onion in it that added a nice texture, and that onion flavor was ON. Let’s talk about the caviar on top, though — it feels kinda gimmicky, and it didn’t change the flavor profile of the dip, but it did make us feel nice and fancy. The whipped feta dip was also wonderful, with that nice sourness of feta and that creamy texture. It also had a bit of a kick. The little slivers of pear on it also added some nice flavor. These dips The new Meat Assorti comes in at $6.75. The dish features beef bresaola, prosciutto ham, and salami plated with baby arugula, pickled mustard seeds, tomato jam, truffle oil, and grilled ciabatta. This is another interesting plate at this festival. The meats are high-quality, like charcuterie meats. This platter is also really hearty, although we’ll admit that we’re not sure it’s something we would opt for during a festival. Meat Assorti Finally, you can sample the Assorted Artisanal Cheeses and Accompaniments for $6.50. We felt sorta similar about this plate. You get four different cheeses, as well as pickled vegetables like banana peppers and pickles. There was also honey and tomato jam. We’re still not 100% sure what these cheeses are because we were told one was Brie, but it tasted like goat cheese. We were also told two were cheddars and that one is a Gouda. Assorted Artisanal Cheeses and Accompaniments Now, these cheeses were pretty tasty, but they didn’t blow us away or anything like that. This is basically the kind of cheese board we’d put together at home. You do get a significant portion of cheese for the price. Drinks What sounds better than a Sparkling Cocktail on a fine Spring day? Your options are the Elderflower Sparkling Cocktail ($7.50), the Lemon Sparkling Cocktail ($7.50), and the Orange Sparkling Cocktail ($7.50). The Sparkling Cocktail Flight gives you the chance to enjoy all three for $14.50. Sparkling Cocktail Flight The Elderflower Sparkling Cocktail is made with sparkling wine, Seagram’s Club Soda, and St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur. This cocktail is nice, light, and floral. It definitely tastes like spring. Elderflower Sparkling Cocktail The Lemon Sparkling Cocktail provides a twist of tis own with sparkling wine, Seagram’s Club Soda, and limoncello liqueur. It’s not too sour or too sweet and had a nice balance of flavors. It also had a nice aromatic lemon note to it. Lemon sparkling cocktail And the Orange Sparkling Cocktail is comprised of sparkling wine, Seagram’s Club Soda, and Aperol Aperitivo Liqueur. This was our favorite of the three. It’s not too sweet, and has a nice orange flavor. The flight as a whole is a lot of fun and we think these drinks are similar enough that you’ll like them all. Orange Sparkling Cocktail OVERALL Although we wouldn’t say this is one of the best food booths at the festival, we know we’ll be back for the Chip and Dips because those ROCKED. Disney World is supposed to be the Most Magical Place on Earth, but let’s be real – there are some things that can be straight-up terrifying. Magic Kingdom Crowds With that in mind, we wanted to find out from you what your takes were on the situation. Well, we asked and you delivered! We reached out to our followers on Facebook to ask: “What’s something weird that TERRIFIES you about Disney World?” We had quite a few people leave their opinions in the comments! What do you think? Now, let’s dive into some of your top responses! The Never-Ending Nightmare of ‘It’s a Small World’ First up, we’ve got Christy who shared, “Being stuck on It’s a Small World with the song playing.” Honestly? This is the stuff of theme park horror stories. “it’s a small world” Imagine being trapped in that boat, the dolls staring into your soul, and the song looping over and over. That tune is catchy, sure – but after the tenth time, it might just drive you to madness. The Financial Horror of MagicBand Tapping Marvin revealed his fear: “Blindly attaching a credit card to 4 MagicBands and everyone tap, tap, taping away.” MagicBand And yes, this is a very valid fear. If you’ve ever attached your credit card to multiple MagicBands, you know the sinking feeling of checking your bank statement after a trip. Those $6 bottles of water? Those Mickey-shaped snacks? That one souvenir you forgot you bought. It adds up. Fast. Figment: Love Him or Fear Him? Jennifer gave us the most controversial take of all: “I will catch some heat since he is so loved – but he is creepy.” There he is! She’s talking about Figment, the little purple dragon from EPCOT’s Journey Into Imagination. Figment superfans will defend him to the end, but we get what you mean when you say there’s something about those huge eyes and mischievous grin. On top of that, the ride itself is a fever dream of scents and sounds. At the end of the day, love him or fear him, Figment is an EPCOT legend. The Skyliner Karen said, “Getting stuck on the Skyliner; that is why I avoid it!” Disney World’s Skyliner The Disney Skyliner is a fantastic way to get around – until it’s not. Being suspended mid-air, swaying slightly, with nothing but the Florida heat and your own thoughts? No thanks. Disney assures us the system is reliable, but every now and then, it stops. And if you have a fear of heights? Well, forget about it. Carousel of Progress Shawna shared, “Being in Carousel of Progress again with someone’s small child screaming the entire ride.” Carousel of Progress Now, we love this classic attraction, but let’s be honest – being stuck in a rotating theater while a child wails through every scene is a special kind of theme park torture. There’s no escape. You just have to sit there, suffering through the technological progress and the tantrum. The Scooter Stampede Dana has been through it: “Getting ran over by a scooter – they have mowed me down many times – and I am NOT a slow walker!” ECV rental in Disney World If you’ve been to Disney World, you know the fear of rogue scooters. You’re walking along, minding your business, and suddenly – BAM. A scooter zooms past, inches from your ankles. Some guests are careful drivers, but others? Absolute speed demons. The Loss of a Hidden Gem Next, we’ve got Angela V. who confessed, “That more and more people are discovering Rafiki’s Planet Watch and the Animation Experience. It used to be our quiet little slice of heaven…” Rafiki’s Planet Watch There’s something bittersweet about watching your favorite hidden gem get discovered. Rafiki’s Planet Watch has long been a peaceful retreat, but as more people catch on, it’s getting harder to find that solitude. The Heat Trap Angela S. said, “Being stuck on a ride that is outdoors, under full sun, in the middle of the summer, for hours.” Slinky Dog Dash Florida heat is no joke. Getting stuck in it? A total nightmare. We’ve seen it happen on Test Track, Big Thunder Mountain, and even Slinky Dog Dash. There’s nothing quite like baking in the sun with no escape while Disney Cast Members scramble to fix the issue. Hydration and sunscreen can only do so much! DeVine DFB reader Penelope shared, “DeVine. It weirds me out when it comes out of nowhere and creeps along.” DeVine in Animal Kingdom If you don’t know who DeVine is, she’s the camouflaged stilt performer who blends seamlessly into the greenery at Animal Kingdom. She moves slowly, almost unnaturally, and if you don’t see her at first? Well, she sees you. And that moment when she suddenly moves can send chills down your spine. The Fear of Missing Out Lastly, we’ve got Pat who summed it all up perfectly: “Not being able to go as often as I would like.” And honestly, that’s got to be the scariest one of all. Disney World is a magical place, and the fear of missing out on all the fun is very real. Who doesn’t love Brunch?! Come to think of it… who doesn’t love EPCOT? 2024 BRUNCHCOT Outdoor Kitchen The 2025 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival has officially begun and it has a LOT to offer. We’re discovering once again what happens when BRUNCH meets EPCOT at BRUNCHCOT. Located just steps away from Test Track in World Discovery, BRUNCHCOT is one of the Festival’s Outdoor Kitchens (also known as Food Booths). And we’re bringing you our review right here as we check out EVERY SINGLE BOOTH at this year’s Festival! Menu Over at the Brunchcot, you’ll find a variety of available items. The lovely Avocado Toast is back, along with the Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites, as well as the Biscuit and Gravy (featuring ingredients by IMPOSSIBLE). Brunchcot Menu The colorful Fruit Cereal Shake returns once again! Of-age guests who are in search of a little sweet sip can enjoy a Peach Bellini, or if you’re looking for something coffee-inspired, you can try the 3 Daughters Brewing Coffee Blonde Ale, which is new this year. ©Disney So, does BRUNCHCOT impress this year? Let’s find out… Eats The always Insta-worthy Avocado Toast is $6.25 and is topped with marinated tomatoes and plant-based cheese crumbles, all served up on toasted ciabatta. This dish is basically a Flower and Garden Festival CLASSIC at this point, and we keep coming back for more. It’s also a part of the Garden Graze, the plant-based food stroll through the Flower and Garden Festival. This plant-based dish is like a simple, classic avocado toast you can find at many breakfast restaurants, with all the salty, savory flavors we know and love. This made our Best of the Fest last year, and we’re excited to see if it brings those same beloved flavors! Avocado Toast The avocado toast was still yummy this year, and there were lots of other guests raving about this dish around us too! It is a great combination of fresh ingredients, all topped with plant-based cheese crumbles. It does have a note of avocado oil as well. While we think it could really benefit from a drizzle of balsamic, it is still tasty. Avocado Toast Returning this year as well is the Biscuit and Gravy dish for $6.75. Though this is a returning dish, there’s a bit of a twist to it this year. Last year, this dish was comprised of IMPOSSIBLE Chicken Fried Steak and IMPOSSIBLE Sausage Gravy. This dish features IMPOSSIBLE Sausage with pepper jelly. So, how does this year’s iteration measure up? Let’s find out! Biscuit and Gravy We were very impressed with the Biscuit and Gravy! It is a brown gravy that made us feel like we were almost eating a bacon gravy. The IMPOSSIBLE sausage and pepper jelly worked well together to make for a delicious dish! We wish there was a bit more gravy, though, as we ended up with a lot of biscuit in the end with no more gravy. The biscuit was a bit dense and dry without the gravy too. Biscuit and Gravy Returning from some previous festivals, we’re diving into we’ve got the Shrimp and Grits for $7.75. This classic southern dish is made with blackened shrimp and cheese grits with brown gravy and sweet corn salsa. The grits were nice and buttery, while the salsa was sweet with a little kick. Shrimp and Grits It doesn’t have a Creole heat to it, but you can definitely taste that the shrimp was blackened and there is a bit of low heat to it. The shrimp was plump, and the grits were fluffy. We were big fans! Shrimp and Grits Finally, a little brunchy dessert for those looking for a little something sweet. Let’s grab some Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites for $5.25. The Cinnamon Roll Bites come complete with cream cheese frosting and candied bacon (HELLO!). For the past few years, we’ve enjoyed this tasty treat as the perfect brunch-meets-dessert. But what about this year? Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites We are happy to report, that we are still lovin’ this dish! The combination of sweet drizzle with the sweet & salty bacon, and flaky dough is perfection. Yum! There is so much to love in this dish, and it still tastes wonderful this year. Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites Drinks Channel your inner child with the returning Fruit Cereal Shake for $5! This shake is made with vanilla soft-serve and fruit-flavored breakfast cereal. Fruit Cereal Shake This is a great one to grab for your own kiddo (it’s non-alcoholic, after all!), and be sure to steal a sip for yourself. It tastes just like slurping up the Froot Loops cereal milk, but if the milk was frozen into shake form. Fruit Cereal Shake Adults can pick up a traditional Peach Bellini for $11.50. You can never really go wrong with a Bellini, but it’s still worth mentioning that this drink is pretty basic and even a bit light on the peach, with an emphasis on sparkling wine. Obviously, there are more unique beverages you can pick up not just at BRUNCHOT, but all over the Festival. Peach Bellini If you’re more of a beer drinker, Brunchcot has a special option for you! New to the drink menu this year is the 3 Daughters Brewing Coffee Blonde Ale for $5.75 for 6 oz. or $9.75 for 12 oz. This beer is deep golden in color with a big coffee aroma. It’s noted to taste like a refreshing cold coffee flavor with moderate carbonation and a dry finish. OVERALL There is a lot to love at Brunchcot! Some of our favorites include the Avocado Toast and Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites, but we enjoyed everything we tried here. We were also super impressed with the Biscuit and Gravy and highly recommend this for a fantastic plant-based option. And kiddos will likely love the Fruit Cereal Shake you can grab here! We always look forward to stopping by the Refreshment Port during the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. 2025 Refreshment Port Why? Because it’s always home to one of our very favorite things: POUTINE! But not just any Poutine… (although you can enjoy Traditional Poutine here all year long). During EPCOT’s seasonal Festivals, Refreshment Port also serves up a specialty Poutine just for the current event! And this year is no different, with the Provence Poutine making its debut. We hope you’ll join us for our complete review. (In fact, you can find a review for every single Outdoor Kitchen at the EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival right here!) And what does one sip with Provence Poutine? Let’s take a look… Drinks At Refreshment Port, there is a little something for everyone (well, everyone aged 21 and over, that is). A cocktail, a hard cider, and a wine are available to order. The Frozen Mojito with Boyd & Blair Rum is back for its third year running, and we’re gladit’s back! It costs $13. Frozen Mojito with Boyd & Blair Rum In previous years, we’ve found this frozen refresher to be bright, crisp, and delicious, with just a hint of a tart taste. If you’d like to try a fruity cider, the new Country Boy Brewing Raspberry Lemon Hard Cider ($12) is up for grabs, while the Villa Maria EarthGarden Sauvignon Blanc ($6.50) is available for wine drinkers. OVERALL We were really impressed by this brand-new Poutine offering! Not only does it taste good, but it is also beautiful with the fresh lavender — very on-brand for Flower and Garden! Picky eaters may have an issue with the different seasonings, but overall, this dish is nothing too crazy, yet it is still delicious! We don’t know about you, but getting a good deal on our Disney World hotel room is almost the best part of our whole trip… almost. Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort We’ve done TONS of research and tried every hack in the book to find the most savings when staying at Disney World hotels since they can be pricey. By now, we thought we’d tried them all, but we found one that can score you a Disney World hotel for under $100 a night. And the trick is… not booking directly with Disney World. Let’s talk about Priceline, an online travel agency that helps people find discounted flights, hotels, and car rentals — including hotels at Disney World. Priceline actually has two ways to book Disney World hotels — you can just pick your dates, look for the hotel, and book it. Those rooms may be discounted, but you prob won’t find any major savings compared to what Disney may be offering. Art of Animation But, they also have hidden deals known as Express Deals, where the hotel isn’t revealed until you pay. And, if you know what you’re doing and have decent detective skills, you can sometimes figure out which Disney World hotels are being offered with these deals. IMPORTANT NOTE INCOMING!!! These rooms are nonrefundable and you can’t change the dates. You’re locked in. So, doing this is definitely a risk because even if you think it’s a Disney World hotel, it could be Wyndham Bonnet Creek or some other non-Disney hotel. You have to be willing to accept that you’re getting a good deal but you’re rolling the dice. If you’re cool with that, then we’ll tell you how it’s done! Sort by: Lowest price Neighborhoods: Walt Disney World — Bonnet Creek, Walt Disney World — Disney Springs (this narrows your search so any non-Disney hotel in Disney World is filtered out) ©Priceline BUT, if you do your research and use your investigating skills, you can narrow down those hidden Express Deals to where you’re pretty positive you know what the hotel is, even if it’s hidden. For example, with every hidden deal, they tell you the number of stars, the ROUNDED number of ratings, and the guest rating. So, you can look at the non-hidden Disney hotels on Priceline and compare them to the hidden hotels! ©Priceline For example, we found a room for $194/night with 3.5 stars, 700 ratings, and 8+ average guest rating in the Bonnet Creek area. That narrows it down to potentially Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort OR Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort. But when you click on the deal, it lets you look at the room, and you can see it’s not a Disney hotel. ©Priceline If Priceline did NOT show you a preview of the room, the chances of it being Coronado are much much higher, since you can see there are no room previews for the Disney World hotels. ©Priceline Keep in mind that you have to really look at the details of those hidden deals because they reveal a lot more than you think. If the description lists a spa or fitness center, you know it’s not a Value or Moderate Disney World hotel room. Or if it lists “Guaranteed to be one of these hotel brands,” you know it’s not Disney, either. One of our team members used this hack and snagged an Express Deal at All-Star Movies for $99 per night. It’s listed on Priceline as a 3-star, 8+, with 400 Reviews in the Bonnet Creek Area! ©Priceline We also found a 4-star, 300 ratings, 8+ hotel in the Bonnet Creek area for $444 a night in March. We’ve got a major update on the potential train between Disney World and the Orlando International Airport. Orlando International Airport Recently, the Orlando City Council voted to approve $500,000 for a study on a potential expansion of the SunRail system to include stops at Orlando International Airport, the Universal Orlando Resort, the Orlando Convention Center, and Disney Springs. And, Universal Orlando has announced that they’re also ponying up some change for the study. Universal Orlando has announced that it’s putting $2 million toward the cost of the study needed to bring the SunRail line from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to International Drive, according to WKMG Orlando. The Central Florida Commuter Rail Commission needs about $6 million total for project development and environmental study. ©SunRail The study is a necessary step before federal or state government funding can be approved to begin building the site. The Florida Department of Transportation is contributing $2 million to the study, and Universal announced that they’ll be matching that money. ©Orlando Business Journal “We will absolutely commit to match the $2 million that the DOT is putting on the table for the next stage, which will hopefully then match the commission’s as well, so we will have a fully-funded PD&E to go and get this thing done right with the (Federal Transit Administration),” said John McReynolds with Universal Destinations and Experiences. ©SunRail Back in February, the Orlando local government agreed to contribute $500,000 to the potential SunRail expansion study. However, a few other organizations and potentially private businesses will need to fund the study, as the Orlando Sentinel reported that it will cost $6 million. Once completed, the study could help sway the federal government to construct the Sunshine Corridor project. ©SunRail The two-year study would dig into projected ridership of the expansion, maintenance and operating costs, environmental impacts, station locations, and track alignments. The push for an expansion of the SunRail system comes at a time when traffic congestion is strangling the roads among many of Orlando’s attractions, including Disney World. Another massive FDOT project — an expansion of I-4 outside of Disney Springs — aimed at reducing this congestion just began construction this month. Disney Springs The proposed corridor would connect the existing SunRail line to MCO along with another east-west line between the airport to planned stations at the Orange County Convention Center, International Drive South, and eventually, Disney Springs. “Universal and the CDD still has land reserved for the station and some of the tracks, and we stand as committed a day as we’ve ever been,” McReynolds said. ©SunRail We’ll continue to keep an eye on more updates regarding this potential expansion. Unfortunately, layoffs are set to hit across Disney’s entertainment networks. ©ABC The Wall Street Journal reported that Disney is planning to cut nearly 6% of their staff across ABC News and other Disney entertainment networks. The layoffs can start as early as today, Wednesday, March 5th. According to the Wall Street Journal, “about 200 employees are being let go at Disney’s ABC News Group and Disney’s Entertainment Networks unit.” This is sadly just one of the latest of several workforce reductions that Disney has made over the last few years. Many entertainment companies, like Disney, are “looking for ways to save on what used to be core businesses as it spends more on sports and entertainment content to compete in the streaming marketplace.” The Walt Disney Company Many consumers are ditching their cable packages and instead moving towards streaming services. Due to this, ABC News shows like “Nightline” and “20/20” are being “consolidated into one unit,” which means job cuts. In addition to making production teams smaller, ABC is eliminating its “political and data-driven news site 538,” which was run with about 15 employees. “Good Morning America” will be consolidated under one person, as before the third hour of the show had a separate production team. ©Good Morning America As for the Disney Entertainment Networks Unit, there will be reductions in the programming and scheduling sector. Today will be great — and it’s all because the 2025 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival has begun! 2025 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival This year’s festival runs from March 5th through June 2nd, 2025, and this year marks the 30th Anniversary of this beloved event! We’re making our way around the festival, checking out all the incredible topiaries, entertainment, merchandise, and of course — food! But, oddly enough, we’re not the only ones who decided to show up to the first day of the festival — who would have thought?! Despite the rainy weather, the crowds were out in full force at EPCOT this morning! There was quite a long line of folks waiting to be let in when we arrived around Early Entry, but many people were huddled beneath the awning to try and stay dry. The weather might be less than ideal, but hey, all those plants and flowers do need to be watered! Crowds lined up in the rain! Quite a few people had already busted out their ponchos due to the rain, which is supposed to clear up a little this afternoon — so fingers crossed for some sunny skies eventually! EPCOT opened at 9AM ET to all guests, but at 8:30AM to Disney World hotel guests with the Early Theme Park Entry perk. While that 30 minutes into the park won’t necessarily help you get a head start on the food booths (many of these don’t open until World Showcase opens, around 11AM), it CAN help you get early access to some great photo opportunities in the park and (perhaps more importantly) the merchandise. Waiting to get in Once we were inside the park, we were held back for a bit, which only made the crowds seem to get worse… What’s the holdup? …but once everyone was officially allowed further into the park, things started to clear out a bit. We’ll see how things go as the day goes on! Much better! We headed over to the Creations Shop to check out some of the exclusive festival merchandise and couldn’t believe how long the line was to get in! We don’t think we’ve seen quite as long of a line as this one is for festival merchandise in a while — if ever! Luckily, things seemed to be moving quickly, but Disney is limiting the number of people allowed in the store at one time for now, so keep that in mind if you’re headed to the festival today or later this week and weekend. Plenty of people in line for merchandise! The festival just got started and we can’t wait to check it all out throughout the day. Since Disneyland first opened just about seven decades ago, the company’s parks have been defined in part by “the little things.” Small thematic details that, while not being integral rides or attractions, add to the immersive nature of the parks in ways that guests don’t even realize. American Adventure EPCOT’s World Showcase is full of such details, with each international pavilion meticulously crafted to recreate the versions each country that exist in guests’ minds, if not always exactly in real life. Today we’re looking at one of those details that many may initially miss: The American Adventure’s Golden Dream. The American Adventure is one of EPCOT’s more interesting World Showcase pavilions. During the initial development of the park (after it had already evolved from the original E.P.C.O.T. city idea) there was back and forth amongst Imagineers as to whether the World Showcase should have an America-themed pavilion at all, as some argued it was redundant. ©Disney Eventually, it was decided that there would be an American pavilion, but original plans called for it to be a modernist steel and glass building housing an animatronic show which would be situated at the FRONT of the World Showcase, acting as “host” that would beckon guests from Future World. As development of the park progressed, those plans were altered to the colonial-themed pavilion at the back of the World Showcase that opened with the park in 1982. American Adventure The animatronic show remained, and since opening has been headlined by the song “Golden Dreams.” However, the well-known track isn’t the only Golden Dream located in the pavilion. On the shores of the World Showcase Lagoon, just in front of the America Gardens Theater sits another: a scale recreation of an 18th century rum runner ship that bears the same name! ©Disney The ship was designed by Dering Consultants and debuted at the park in 1993. According to the company’s website, “Dering designed and developed Disney’s Golden Dream 18th Century Revolutionary Warship from concept to completion” for display at the park. It’s a “historically accurate replica of a 1776 Continental rum runner sloop. A sloop is a sailing ship with a single mast and a fore-and-aft rig. Sloops have been both war and trading ships with a flat deck to hold a vast array of supplies.” ©Disney For just over a decade, the ship sat free-floating in the waters near the pavilion until it was heavily damaged by Hurricane Charley in 2004 and removed. Due to a push from Cast Members and Imagineers, the ship was brought back in a newly restored form. In fact, the new ship, designed by BlueDock, isn’t a “ship” at all, but rather a facade built around a floating dock. Currently, the best vantage point to see the Golden Dream ship is from the Italy Pavilion. Golden Dream While the Golden Dream may not be a headline attraction by any means (in fact, many guests may not even know it’s there), it adds to the thematic immersion of the American Adventure! The 2025 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is finally here! EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival The 2025 Flower & Garden Festival is OFFICIALLY underway EPCOT and we’re here trying all the eats and drinks! However, before anyone visits the food booths, topiaries, and entertainment spots, it’s probably best to know where you’re going. Fortunately, we got a first look at this year’s Flower and Garden Festival Passport, detailing everything you need to know! This free Festival Passport can be picked up as you walk into EPCOT or at any of the Outdoor Kitchen Food Booths — and we definitely recommend doing so as this booklet is a full guide to the Festival. 2025 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival Passport Let’s take a look at the 2025 passport and see what’s in store! Make sure you grab a passport! There’s lots of food and drinks to try, tons of topiaries and gardens to explore, concerts to watch, merchandise to buy, and a Garden Graze we have to complete! 2025 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival Passport There are so many activities to complete, too! We love doing Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration, where you look for Spike the Bee statues around the park to get a prize. You can also check out Butterfly Landing to meet some gorgeous butterflies and head to Communicore Hall to “get a bee’s eye view of a garden that’s larger than life.” Check out the activities you can do! Your festival passport also details all the topiaries and where to find them! This inclusion is awesome and truly helps you see every special detail offered with this Festival — including characters and photo ops! So many fun topiaries to see! The Flower & Garden Festival obviously highlights actual gardens, and these pages will tell you what types of garden displays you can find throughout EPCOT. 2025 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival Passport The new festival brings new merchandise, and there’s so much to choose from! There’s a classic Orange Bird Collection, a cute Spike the Bee Collection, and an incredible Alice in Wonderland Collection. Each collection has items from clothing to garden supplies and everything in between. 2025 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival Passport You’ll also get all the info you need regarding the different tours offered throughout the Festival. You can do the Guided or Self-Guided Tea Tour for the English Tea Garden Tours Presented by Twinnings. Guests will get to learn about different teas and even try some! The Behind the Seeds Tour takes place at The Land Pavillion and offers guests a backstage tour of Living with the Land. 2025 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival Passport Every food kitchen is listed in the Passport, as well — letting you know full menus and where to find them. 2025 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival Passport You can stop by Refreshment Port, near Canada, and Northern Bloom, inside Canada! So much food to try! Make sure you stop by Pineapple Promenade near Port of Entry and Swirled Showcase between World Showcase and the Imagination Pavillion. Which booth are you most excited for? There’s also Fleue de Lys in France and La Isla Fresca after France but before Morocco. Yum! You’ll have to stop by Tangerine Cafe: Flavors of the Medina in Morocco and Hanami in Japan, too! We have to try it all! There are great options at Funnel Cake and Magnolia Terrace in America and Primavera Kitchen in Italy. So many delicious options to choose from Bauernmarkt: Farmer’s Market in Germany and Refreshment Outpost have some of our favorites again! So much to try! Make sure you stop by Lan Yuan in China and Jardin de Fiestas in Mexico! We’re going to have to stop at every booth! You can visit our beloved The Honey Bee-stro Hosted by National Honey Board near Port of Entry, and a new booth, Yacht Grub between the World Showcase and Imagination Paviliion, as well! A new booth to try! EPCOT Farmers Feast at Communicore Hall changes throughout the festival, so you’ll see different menus from March 5th to April 5th, April 6th to May 3rd, and May 4th to June 2nd. This booth changes during the festival! The Land Cart at World Nature looks great, and there’s another new booth, Beach Grub, between the World Showcase and Imagination Pavillion. That drink looks delicious! Want to get a little taste of these menu items without breaking the bank? It is officially time for the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival! This flower-filled festival kicks off today and runs through June 2nd, 2025. From all the beautiful topiaries to all the delicious food and drinks, we will be bringing you full coverage of EVERYTHING this festival has to offer. CommuniCore Hall We had the opportunity to get a first look inside CommuniCore Hall for the festival. CommuniCore Hall is located in World Celebration and is hosting a special exhibit for the festival. Let’s take a look inside! From first glance, we are seeing lots of plants and we can’t wait to dive into what you can see inside! This year, the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival is celebrating its 30th year! CommuniCore Hall The exhibit, of course, included lots of lovely plants and we even spotted Spike the Bee amongst one of the displays! Hi Spike! You can also find information placards throughout the exhibit to learn about the use of plants, flowers, and topiaries in the Disney World parks over the years. Topiaries have been providing “magical moments” in the Disney parks since 1963! Be on the lookout for information placards We even spotted some information about the purple martins. These birds travel 3,000 miles to Disney World every January. The birds start nesting in February to be able to raise the next generation of birds. You can even spot the purple martins home while you are walking through EPCOT. They are located near the playground behind Creations Shop. Information about purple martins There is also a section dedicated to the topiaries of the Flower & Garden Festival. Hello there Bo Peep, Anna, Elsa, Phineas, Ferb, and Figment! A look at the Flower & Garden topiaries There is a lot to discover inside of CommuniCore Hall and we really enjoyed our time exploring. You will definitely want to plan to make at least a quick stop by here — plus, the building has some wonderful AC. Even the floors are getting into the Flower & Garden Spirit! We loved the florals on the ground too! As well, don’t miss a quick glance at the tables! They are covered in fun designs that feature different veggies including bell peppers, radishes, and carrots. Inside, you will also find the EPCOT Farmers Feast Outdoor Kitchen, which will offer three different menus throughout the festival. A tale as old as time takes the stage on the Disney Treasure with Beauty and the Beast, an original musical production. Towards the bow, guests will find the Walt Disney Theatre — an opulent show palace that comes alive with Broadway-style productions developed exclusively for Disney Cruise Line, including Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and Disney Seas the Adventure. The former brings Belle’s enchanting adventure to life onstage, incorporating elements from the live-action and animated films. The latter spectacular features beloved characters from Disney and Pixar stories alongside renditions of Disney songs. The Walt Disney Theatre is also home to Disney The Tale of Moana, the world’s first stage adaptation of the beloved Disney Animation film. Aboard the Disney Treasure, AquaMouse, Disney Cruise Line’s own attraction at sea, introduces an all-new storyline to its existing lineup that follows Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse on a zany misadventure into an ancient temple.Kids Clubs and Family Fun Thrills await on the AquaMouse, Disney Cruise Line’s attraction at sea that features 760 feet of winding tubes suspended high above the upper decks. On the Disney Treasure, guests can join Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie in search of a legendary treasure that’s hidden within the mysterious ruins of an ancient temple in “Curse of the Golden Egg.“ Booby traps and other hilarious mishaps send guests in unexpected directions as they splash, drift, and slide around the ship’s top deck on the zany water ride. Little ones can go “to swim-finity and beyond” in a Toy Story-themed district designed especially for families with toddlers and young children onboard the Disney Treasure. Families with young children can play around at Toy Story Splash Zone, featuring larger-than-life rubber bath toys and the Slide-a-saurus Rex slide, then beat the heat at Wheezy’s Freezies with a cool-down treat. Inspired by the penguin from Pixar Animation Studios’ Toy Story 2, this poolside spot mixes up frozen-fruit smoothies for the whole family to enjoy morning, day, and night. At Star Wars: Cargo Bay at Disney’s Oceaneer Club, the peculiar creatures and legendary characters from a galaxy far, far away take center stage as kids are immersed in their own Star Wars story and take on the role of creature handlers and learn to manage a mischievous menagerie of exotic beings. Disney’s Oceaneer Club invites children to embark on Disney adventures of their very own with interactive programming. The immersive spaces (detailed below) are thoughtfully designed to encourage exploration and discovery. Expertly developed programming combines physical play and age-appropriate technology to create deeply engaging, enriching experiences, each led by a team of Disney counselors. For the youngest cruisers onboard the Disney Treasure, the “it’s a small world” nursery offers babysitting services in a whimsical environment inspired by the classic Disney attraction. At the “it’s a small world” nursery, children between 6 months and 3 years old can play games, make crafts, watch movies, or take a nap — all while being looked after and entertained by expert Disney counselors at the internationally themed childcare center. At Hero Zone, action-packed physical challenges and exhilarating competitions abound on this groundbreaking recreation space where families can play together, testing their strength, speed, and stamina during a thrilling competition based on Pixar Animation Studios’ The Incredibles. Featuring high-energy hosts, epic music, and amazing special effects, families will team up to conquer an elaborate course of over-the-top obstacles inspired by the film. Edge is the ultimate tween club for kids ages 11-14. They can relax, play games, and make new friends in this vibrant club inspired by trendy urban lofts in New York City. They can also take plenty of pictures to share with their friends back home, as the faux-grass picnic area and “photo walls” featuring graphic art are fun, trendy spots for capturing fun selfies. Teens sailing on the Disney Treasure have their own dedicated club called Vibe and The Hideaway, a stylish space inspired by a French artists’ lofts with classic architecture, vibrant neon signs, and funky pop art, including a selfie-worthy Mickey Mouse statue. At The Hideaway, teens and tweens will discover a chill hangout to relax, socialize, listen to music, sing karaoke, and more. At Vibe, teens will meet new friends, watch movies, play games, and participate in entertaining activities made just for them. Inspired by a Parisian artists’ loft, the youth club boasts stylish architectural elements with an electric retro twist. Named for the lioness matriarch from Disney’s The Lion King, Sarabi is the central hub for a multitude of daytime activities and adult-exclusive evening entertainment onboard the Disney Treasure. Honoring the spirit of Disney Animation’s The Lion King, the Sarabi lounge is home to musical performances, comedy acts, and more. Featuring a two-story LED screen, as well as a full-service bar and spacious seating, Sarabi offers family fun during the day and adult-exclusive activities at night. The adjoining Sarabi Snacks offers various food and beverages. Aboard the Disney Treasure, the vibrant town of Santa Cecilia awakens at Plaza De Coco, the first theatrical dining experience themed to Disney and Pixar’s Coco.Entertaining Dining Experiences The Plaza de Coco restaurant offers a theatrical dining experience for guests of all ages, featuring two distinct nights of entertainment that continues the story of Pixar Animation Studios’ Coco. The menu draws inspiration from Miguel’s colorful world and the flavors of Mexico. For the first dinner, join Miguel and other characters for a festive gathering in Mariachi Plaza that honors the heritage of music and love that runs deep within the Rivera family. “Our story takes place three years after the film,” Juan Cantu, Show Director, Disney Live Entertainment, said. “In working with our partners, we asked permission to continue the story and not just retell it. We first had to figure out the emotional beats, so we thought about the important lessons the film teaches us about generational healing. Music is a strong part of that. We also wanted to center it around our traditional celebration of Dia de los Muertos. There was a careful planning for what we wanted the experience for the week to be, and we had to decide what would be for night one and what would be for night two.” For the second dinner, Miguel reunites with his great-great-grandparents, Hector and Mamá Imelda, and transports them to the town square in Santa Cecilia with the help of his magic guitar to celebrate Dia de los Muertos — the Day of the Dead. Diners are invited to join them as they honor all celebrations, from guests’ birthdays to anniversaries and more. Worlds of Marvel, Disney Cruise Line’s Marvel-themed dining experience, hosts Disney Treasure guests for two distinct nights, including a brand-new offering that showcases the lively duo Rocket and Groot from the blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy films. The whole family is invited to assemble at Worlds of Marvel, an innovative restaurant that features Super Heroes in a larger-than-life showcase of groundbreaking quantum technology and world-class cuisine. Currently exclusive to the Disney Treasure is Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix, an out-of-this-world celebration honoring the Super Heroes of the MCU who safeguard the world. Featuring Rocket Racoon and Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy, the story unfolds onscreen when Groot decides to throw the ultimate surprise party for Rocket — just in time for dessert! Guests eat to the beat of an “awesome mix” of popular songs as they test their knowledge of the MCU with onscreen activities and trivia. The Jade Cricket Café, inspired by the classic Disney film Mulan, serves a selection of coffee, tea, specialty beverages, and snacks.Quick Bites and Treats Speaking of food, discover a mix of mouthwatering cuisines at Marceline Market, named for Walt Disney’s early childhood hometown in Missouri. Here, guests will find classic favorites, international specialties, and plant-based offerings served for breakfast and lunch. In the center of the upper decks, guests will find tasty offerings and fan-favorite treats from uniquely themed food stations at Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods: Mickey’s Smokestack BBQ, Donald’s Cantina, Daisy’s Pizza Pies, Goofy’s Grill, and Minnie’s Delights. Heihei Café, named after Moana’s trusty sidekick, echoes the scalloped seashells and reflective blue waters of the storied Southern Pacific Isle of Motunui as it is portrayed in Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Moana. For guests who need a quick coffee, tea, or snack, look no further than one of two specialty walkup cafés located just steps away from the Grand Hall. Heihei Café, inspired by Disney Animation’s Moana, serves coffee, tea, and specialty beverages, as well as themed snacks. Inspired by Disney Animation’s Mulan, The Jade Cricket Café honors the Fa family’s “lucky” cricket, Cri-Kee, who is represented on the bar top by a jade sculpture. Thoughtful design details include one of the film’s most iconic quotes, which appears on a mirror behind the bar: “The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all.” In the welcoming Triton Lounge — a versatile space designed to be fun for all — guests can sip refreshing beverages while engaging in various activities such as karaoke and trivia. A Private Oasis Guests sailing aboard the Disney Treasure get to spend a day at Disney Castaway Cay, a private island reserved exclusively for Disney Cruise Line guests on Bahamian and Caribbean cruises. Whether guests choose to bike around the island, snorkel in crystal-clear waters, or go the distance with a 5K run, they get to choose their own adventures.
