The Diamond Horseshoe in Magic Kingdom’s Frontierland at Walt Disney World has had a bit of an identity crisis over the years. Learn About: Diamond Horseshoe Magic Kingdom Disney World Restaurants Formerly a seasonal counter service spot, the restaurant is now a seasonal table service location. And while Diamond Horseshoe was once home only to an all-you-care-to-enjoy platter (which began as a temporary offering back in 2016), it was announced that beginning May 16, the menu would also include some a la carte options. And that’s where Diamond Horseshoe stands today: it’s open seasonally and with limited hours (typically 1PM to 7PM), serving table service eats with both an a la carte and all-you-care-to-enjoy menu. And with the advent of the 2018 Disney Dining Plan’s alcohol-included policy, diners can now enjoy a glass of wine or beer with their meals as well. But with the cycles of Diamond Horseshoe’s menu life seemingly always up in the air, this Magic Kingdom staple has maintained its Old West style and laid back atmosphere. And after my most recent visit, I might say that’s the best thing Diamond Horseshoe has going for it. Diamond Horseshoe Atmosphere Diamond Horseshoe is a rootin’, tootin’ kind of spot, holding fast to its frontier styling in Magic Kingdom’s Frontierland. And we love it for that. Diamond. Horseshoe. Diamond Horseshoe! All the signage for the restaurant features its classic dark red background and gold stylized writing. Guests curious about the menu can catch a sneak peak outside on the restaurant’s comfortable porch. And while that menu purports “fancy dining,” there’s no need to don your Disney dining best. Exterior Menu The “fancy” comes in the ornate moldings, brass details, and luxurious swag stage curtains. But seating is in padded wooden chairs around standard circular tables. Nothing so elegant that you can’t drop a little BBQ sauce on it, as is wont to happen. Take a look around! The highlight of the space is the old fashioned player piano that holds court on the snazzy stage. The piano plays from time to time throughout your meal. Stage Wall treatments and artwork also give us old timey vibes. Wall Treatments and Old Pictures The table setting at Diamond Horseshoe is simple: red table cloth, gingham napkins, utensils. No frills — and no thrills. Table Setting You’ll also see wine glasses set out should you need them. Table Setting Overall, it’s cute and comfortable. Utensils and Menu But let’s see if the menu can kick things up a notch! Eats First, a look at the Beverage Menu shows some American-style alcoholic options, including Bud Light and Angry Orchard cider. There are also a few specialty drink options, including the refreshing-sounding Prairie Slushy. Beverage Menu The menu features a few different options. Sandwiches and More is the entree section. Chuck Wagon Platters offer meat and vegetable options and a choice of Two Fix ‘Ins sides. The Saloon Feast is All-You-Care-to-Enjoy and also confusingly includes a Chuck Wagon option. Eats Menu Since the a la carte menu options are new, I wanted to dig into those and see if they’re worth a visit. The Cowboy Mac is creamy mac and cheese topped with pulled pork, fried onions, and scallions. This wasn’t bad, per say, but I’ve had better (namely at the Plaza Restaurant where Brisket Mac and Cheese reigns supreme!). Cowboy Mac There is a ton of food here, though, so if you’re at Diamond Horseshoe and you’ve got a bottomless stomach to fill, this might work for you. Cowboy Mac Note that the Corn Fritters that come with the Cowboy Mac are a standout here — along with some seriously tasty BBQ Mayo for dipping! Corn Fritters These were easily my favorite part of the entire meal. Definitely load up on them if you have a chance! Corn Fritters The Chuck Wagon Saloon Feast — an All-You-Care-to-Enjoy offering — comes with plenty of meat and sides to satisfy a hangry diner. It comes with several Fix ‘Ins (sides here), including Corn on the Cob with Cheese, BBQ Baked Beans, Mac and Cheese, and Cole Slaw. Chuck Wagon The meats on the Chuck Wagon Saloon Feast are pretty hum-drum. BBQ Pulled Pork, Carved Beef Brisket, and Grilled Chicken arrive at your table family-style. Everything was fine, but mass produced. This didn’t strike me as food that was meant to savor and enjoy…it’s food to shovel in so you can get back out to the rides in the Kingdom. Chuck Wagoon Saloon Feast Meats The sides do provide some variety, and they weren’t bad. There’s just nothing here to write home about from the back of your covered wagon. The Mac and Cheese is plain and fine — good for a super picky eater who can’t stomach anything added to a mac and cheese. Mac and Cheese There’s nothing at all remarkable about the Creamy Cole Slaw. In fact, it’s not all that creamy, but it does provide some texture to the meal, and that’s always welcome. Creamy Cole Slaw If you’re looking for something to stick to your ribs, the BBQ Baked Beans will do just that. They carry some decent BBQ flavor, but since that’s sort of the overriding flavor of the meat, they’re just there in the background. BBQ Baked Beans The Corn on the Cob with Cheese is a tiny portion, but I was thankful for the freshness of this side. Corn on the Cob with Cheese Salads and cornbread came with the order as well. (Yup, there’s a lot of food with the family style Saloon Feast!) Salads and Cornbread The Potato Salad was a good portion and had some flavor with the serrano chiles. Potato Salad The House Salad was fresh and crispy — a basic salad with several types of greens that might work for someone looking to eat super light. House Salad The Watermelon Salad is the most inventive of the group, with tomatoes and cucumber in there as well. Watermelon Salad And this Jalapeno Cornbread was my other standout of the meal. I loved this, and I usually don’t like jalapeno in my cornbread. The dense, super-moist brick of bread was super sweet and I couldn’t stop eating it! Jalapeno Cornbread The Saloon Feast includes a dessert trio, and these were all pretty okay. Dessert Trio The star of the dessert trio is the Peaches and Cream Cheesecake. This layered dessert features alternating sweet peach and creamy cheesecake and a streusel topping. If I could make a meal of the corn fritters, the cornbread, and this cheesecake, I might be perfectly content. Peaches and Cream Cheesecake The Seasonal Berry Cobbler was served in a basic tart shell. But the rich berry flavor and the mint-infused whipped cream were good partners. Seasonal Berry Cobbler The Buttermilk Chocolate Cake claims to be served with a Bourbon Caramel Sauce, but that seemed not to be present. This was just an okay slice of cake. Obviously not enough frosting for me, but even if it was slathered with frosting, the cake itself was dry and flavorless. Buttermilk Chocolate Cake Of the three, stick with the Peaches and Cream Cheesecake if you’re ordering off the menu. Better yet, save your dessert calories for something seriously crave-worthy (like a Cheshire Cat Tail or a Dole Whip or a Donut Sundae…). FYI — if you order an a la carte meal and order your dessert separately, you get the same size dessert as these individual ones…and it would cost you $7. For one tiny dessert. Not even all three. Just one. Just a heads’ up. Nosh or Not? Mosey on up to Diamond Horseshoe if: You’re jonesing for an all-you-care-to-enjoy serving of heavy eats. (But, we’d SURRRRIOUSLY recommend you go next door to Liberty Tree Tavern for that instead if you can.) You can’t get an ADR anywhere else, but you want a sit-down meal. You want to enjoy a meal in a historically notable restaurant. Hitch your wagon to a different star if: You can get an ADR at literally any other table service restaurant in the Magic Kingdom. You’re not interested in the heavy, BBQ-slathered offerings. You prefer quick service so you can get your Splash Mountain on. Overall Meh. Diamond Horseshoe is fun in the sense that’s an old fixture in Frontierland and holds true to its original design. But the menu is heavy — unless you’re just hitting the salads — and it’s not done amazingly well. In fact, the best word to describe the eats is mediocre. If you’re looking for quick table service where you don’t have to schmooze with characters, maybe pop in here. But honestly, I’d probably choose just about any other table service spot in Magic Kingdom over this one again. Don’t Miss Out on Any Disney Fun! Makamaka Means Friend Throughout the year, people from all over the world come to Hawaiʻi and Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa to enjoy our island home and immerse themselves in the aloha spirit. Often, visiting us leads to memories and friendships that last a lifetime. In Hawaiʻi, makamaka is just one of many words we use for friend. It is a special word from a time when hoʻokipa, or hospitality, was necessary for survival. If a person were on a long journey in old Hawaiʻi, there were no hotels to check-in to, or restaurants to dine at. So, hospitality among strangers was commonplace. When the visitor and guest developed a friendship through hospitality, they were more than just friends – their friendship was called makamaka. When the visitor would pass through again, or vice versa, they would be sure to pop in and say aloha again! That’s one of the best things about summer at Aulani Resort – we have Cast Members everywhere who will assist you with your needs, but also talk story and maybe even develop a friendship. We’re having an Incredible Summer at Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks to “Incredibles 2,” the world has once again embraced Supers, so in honor of those heroes, Magic Kingdom Park is hosting the first ever Incredible Tomorrowland Expo. This mega fan celebration takes place daily, all around Rockettower Plaza at the center of Tomorrowland, with custom décor, special background music, heroic character appearances and loads of super fun entertainment. You may spot noted supersuit designer Edna Mode, riding atop a stylish SuperMobile and doling out compliments and fashion advice to everyone she encounters. Members of the Super Super Fan Club are also out and about during the Expo, dressed in cosplay as their favorite new aspiring heroes, Brick, Reflux, Krushauer, Voyd and Screech. Catch them during the Pose-Off Procession at the main stage or wandering the Expo sharing their fandom with fellow attendees. And you can strike a pose of your own at one of the Moments in Super History photo opportunities, commemorating iconic events such as the Incredibles’ battle with the OmniDroid or saving Metroville from the Underminer’s tunneler. Each day at noon, Jack-Jack Diaper Dash gives our youngest guests a chance to show off their super speed, zipping (or crawling) to their parental sidekicks as hilarity ensues. Parents can sign up their little heroes starting at 10:30 a.m. in front of Rockettower Plaza Stage. Everything comes together with “Super Party Time,” a continuous variety show of super-powered entertainment, daily from 2 p.m. – 7 p.m. Our Party Host, DJ and Super Party Sidekicks engage Expo guests at Rockettower Plaza Stage in fun and games, with special appearances by Mr. and Mrs. Incredible and Frozone. And throughout “Super Party Time,” you’ll be introduced to up-and-coming Supers like ElectroGirl and Gyroman, showing off their skills on stage. But this isn’t your average cotton candy on a paper cone. Because this one is full of fun, fruity details. Now Spinning Pineapple! No matter which day of the week it is when you read this, we’re taking you to Sunday Supper at Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar and Restaurant! Learn About: Enzo's Hideaway Tunnel Bar and Restaurant Downtown Disney Disney World Restaurants Still somewhat new to the Disney Springs dining scene, Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar opened as one third of a trio of eateries this past January. (The Hideaway’s counterparts are Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante and Pizza Ponte). Even newer, though, is Enzo’s Sunday Supper — a special menu served from 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm every Sunday. We were able to attend a preview of this event on June 10th, but it is open in full starting this coming Sunday, June 17th. A note before we begin: you don’t need to make a special reservation for Sunday Supper. In fact, from 4:00 to 10:00 pm every Sunday moving forward, this is the only menu that will be available. So, if you’re interested in Sunday Supper, just be sure to make your Advance Dining Reservation in that window of time. Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar and Restaurant And now, let’s step underground in Disney Springs once again, for Sunday Supper at Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar! Atmosphere Since our primary purpose is checking out the new dining experience, our tour will be brief. Check-In Area for Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar But don’t worry… if you miss having the full tour, you can check out our first review of Enzo’s (which also shows you what the regular daily menu is like outside of Sunday Supper). Enzo’s Hideaway and Tunnel Bar But as a quick reminder of the setting for Sunday Supper, the story goes that Enzo — half of the storied duo behind Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante — discovered a space tucked underneath what once served as an air terminal for Disney Springs. As it turned out, the space was a hideaway during the Prohibition’s dry years for a team of flying rum-runners. Enzo’s Hideaway and Tunnel Bar Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar Decor Enzo decided to keep much of the graffiti and effects from the bygone era right as they were. Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar Graffiti Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar Graffiti And with the original decor in place, Enzo transformed the spot into a dining destination where he could serve his Italian family’s recipes. Enzo’s Hideaway and Tunnel Bar Main Dining Area Bottles lining the walls And those recipes are served not only throughout the week, but also through the new Sunday Supper at Enzo’s! Eats Sunday Supper at Enzo’s is a prix fixe meal, which will cost $45 per adult guest, or $19 for children ages 9 and under. Sunday Supper Menu Something VERY unique to Sunday Supper is that it is a “BYOB affair.” You are welcome to bring your own bottle of wine with no corkage fee! The servers will present glasses and serve your wine gladly. Sunday Supper at Enzo’s That said, you can also order from the regular beverage menus, if you prefer. Beverage Menu Beverage Menu Beverage Menu That’s what we did when we ordered two cocktails recommended by our server: the Luciano Spritz and the Hazelnut Old Fashioned. Luciano Spritz and Hazelnut Old Fashioned Both were described as being classic choices for Sunday Supper, as they are easy to drink and sip on throughout the meal, and tasty without having flavors that overpower the food. For my part, I found the Luciano Spritz — Solerno Blood Orange, blood orange juice, and Villa Sandi Prosecco — wasn’t sweet at all, though it’s a fruit-flavored cocktail. Luciano Spritz So I got the fruity notes without the overpowering sweetness — a really nice choice for an Italian meal. The Hazelnut Old Fashioned, though, was an especially lovely drink. Hazelnut Old Fashioned Very, very smooth, offering a unique flavor that also goes well with Italian food without being too distracting, While we’re on the topic of beverages… my water glass was never empty. That is to say, the servers and runners were walking around throughout the meal, making sure we had what we needed. This is a huge leap in service from our first experience at Enzo’s, and in fact, the entire atmosphere on this visit was very warm and welcoming. Goodbye Card from our Server Aside from our drinks, bread was immediately on the table along with olive oil for dipping. Bread and Olive Oil Bread and Olive Oil Then, both components of the Starter Course — the Antipasto Board and Salad — were served at the same time. Salad and Antipasto Board Starters The bowl of fresh market greens with carrots, tomatoes, and apple is finished with a balsamic oil, and makes for a great, light start with its bright flavor. Salad Starter Salad Starter But the Antipasto Board was the true highlight — and one of the highlight of the whole meal. The slices of meat were large and there was plenty on the board. Antipasto Board I especially enjoyed the large pitted olives and roasted red peppers. Antipasto Board From the get-go, we felt like we were getting a LOT of food. Antipasto Board Just in time for… MORE FOOD!!! Meats and Pasta The Meats course features Hand-crafted Meatballs, Braised Wagyu Short Rib, Sweet and Spicy Sausage, 1/2 Roasted Free Range Chicken, and Atlantic Salmon. While the Salmon and the Meats are served at the same time, the Salmon pieces are served directly on each plate by your server, with one piece for each member at the table. Atlantic Salmon It was wonderfully prepared, with great seasoning and nicely crisped on the outside. The rest of the Meats Platter has a unique set-up in that the housemade meatballs, sweet and spicy sausage, and braised beef wagyu short rib were presented in the same dish. These are served alongside the 1/2 Roasted Chicken and the Rigatoni for the Pasta Course. Meats and Pasta The Rigatoni is served served with Sunday Sauce and topped with a giving amount of parmigiano reggiano,. Rigatoni Ours was cooked perfectly with a nice firmness. We find that the al dente nature of Enzo’s pasta is on the extreme side, so if you’re not a fan of very al dente, let your server know. Rigatoni Of the housemade meatballs, sweet and spicy sausage, and braised beef wagyu short rib dish, the meatballs were, sadly, the least memorable of the three. (I say “sadly” because they were what I was looking forward to the most.) Meatballs I tasted more of the breading and seasoning than the actual meat. The Braised Wagyu Short Rib, on the other hand, was terrific. It’s cooked for at least six hours with the result that the meat was so tender no knife was required to cut it. (But isn’t that supposed to be the case with Wagyu anyway?) Short Rib Still my favorite was the incredibly flavorful sweet and spicy sausage. My only complaint was that there wasn’t more of it — just one sausage cut into halves for each person. I would’ve happily eaten much more. Meats Dish As for the 1/2 Roasted Free Range Chicken, it’s served with seasonal veggies and fingerling potatoes. And when it came out, I thought it looked amazing. 1/2 Roasted Chicken Unfortunately, though, it was a bit dry. 1/2 Roasted Chicken But the fingerling potatoes ended up being one of my favorite parts of the entire meal. They were savory and had great flavor. Fingerling Potatoes A suggestion: I might request an extra plate for this round — though you receive a clean plate between every course, I think it would have been nice to be able to plate my chicken and veggies separately from the other dishes served in this course, since I don’t think they go as well with the other meats, pasta, and sauces. Servers were so accommodating that I’m sure it would not have been a problem to request an extra plate to enjoy these flavor separately. Sunday Supper ends, of course, with something sweet. Sunday Supper Desserts Make that a few somethings sweet… Cannoli, Tiramisu, and Gelato. Upon first glance, I thought the portions could’ve been more giving, but everything was so rich and indulgent that in the end we had a hard time trying to finish everything. Tiramisu I especially enjoyed the Cannoli and its super fresh shell. Cannoli and dollop And I really loved the extra dollop of filling served on the side, which I personally enjoyed with the rich Chocolate Gelato. Gelato Bowl Not too shabby, Enzo! Nosh or Not? You might want to try Sunday Supper at Enzo’s if: You’d like to try a nice array of Italian cuisine at Enzo’s Hideaway. BYOB without a corkage fee has your name written all over it! You really want to experience the atmosphere of the Tunnel Bar, and this new event seems like it might fit the bill for you. You might want to pass on Sunday Supper at Enzo’s if: You’re not a fan of prix fixe menus, preferring to select from a full menu. (Again, the regular menu is not available during Sunday Supper.) The limited time (just 4:00 – 10:00 pm on Sundays) simply doesn’t work in your vacation plans. Overall I was a little hesitant coming into Sunday Supper based on my first experience at Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar. I was simply not impressed with my meal, and I felt the service was lacking. Granted, it was opening night for the restaurant so I can understand some confusion among the staff. But I’ve been to more than a few opening nights in my day, and it just struck me as a different level of unpreparedness. I am happy to say that this experience at Sunday Supper was MUCH different. I felt like I was getting more bang for the buck, food-wise. Even if every single item wasn’t a standout, there were more than a couple of highlights during the meal and we left quite satisfied. I also enjoyed enthusiastic and attentive service. And while I didn’t “Bring My Own Bottle” (since I was there to taste what the restaurant had to offer for review purposes), the whole BYOB scene without a corkage fee is going to be a pretty sweet perk for lots of guests. We are a few days away from the opening of Toy Story Land, and the anticipation is rising! And I’m not the only one counting down the days until June 30th … my son Kai is a super fan of the “Toy Story” movies, so naturally, he’s very excited about the idea of magically transforming to the size of a toy. He and I went on a little trip to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and met up with some of our favorite Toy Story characters: Woody, Buzz, Jessie and the Green Army Men. Our adventure got us thinking about all the toy-rrific fun that’s coming to the park soon. With two new attractions – Slinky Dog Dash and Aliens Swirling Saucers – and an expanded Toy Story Mania!, the new 11-acre land will be everyone’s favorite playground. In early May, we shared a look at merchandise coming to Toy Story Land. Today, we’re opening the toy box again to reveal additional collectibles and unique gifts inspired by the newest land opening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on June 30. Like roles in a play, product designers cast merchandise to extend the story of Toy Story Land, explained Brad Schoeneberg, director, Merchandise Strategy and New Park Experiences Development. “Merchandise that is true to the story ties everything together,” he said. “Each piece was designed so parents and kids could take their memories home and relive the fun of Toy Story Land long after their Disney vacation.” “Toy Story” characters beloved by young and old have starring roles in the playful merchandise guests will be able to purchase from two retail stands found in the 11-acre land. Park-goers can make a fashion statement with unique headbands, or stylish apparel splashed with “Toy Story” characters such as Sheriff Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Jessie. The “I Played There” commemorative T-shirts tell the world the wearer was among the first guests to experience Toy Story Land. Guests can wear Slinky Dog, the inspiration for the Slinky Dog Dash family coaster, with a new light-up toy. His stretching slinky rings are perfect for nighttime fun at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Space alien-themed light-up tumblers, a coffee cup, a kids’ backpacks, and a retail MagicBand all will celebrate the new land. Passholders destined for a day of play will find an exclusive pin, tote bag and seasonal ornament created especially for them. A treasure trove of pins and accessories is sure to delight pin traders of all ages. Attraction logo pins or a mystery pin set with pins resembling toy blocks emblazoned with character silhouettes are the must-have items for any pin collection. In addition to the Alice in Wonderland attraction’s 60th anniversary, Sailing Ship Columbia also celebrates sixty years today at Disneyland park! The ship is a full-scale replica of the 18th century merchant vessel, Columbia Rediviva, the first American ship to circumnavigate the globe, and the namesake of Oregon’s Columbia River. Sailing along Rivers of America while aboard the 110-foot-long, fully rigged Columbia has always been the perfect respite during a day at the parks. We’re no strangers to Mickey and Minnie Ear treats at Walt Disney World, and we love when a new take comes out on an old favorite! That’s the case with these new Minnie blondies! Blonde Brownie We first tried them wayyyyyy back in 2012, when Chocolate Brownie reigned supreme. And we recently spotted these Blondie and Strawberry Brownies at Panchito’s Gifts and Sundries at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Minnie Ear Blondie We love the outside of these snazzy treats, with a slight shimmer to them and (in the case of Minnie Brownies) a dramatic bow! (DFB tip: this is totally Instagram-able!) Minnie Ear Blondie Inside the pretty exterior is a caramel-flavored Blondie with white chocolate chips and (I THINK!) macadamia nuts. The combination of add-ins is tasty and provides some nice texture, making the Blondie more than one-note. Interior of the Minnie Blondie Yup, it’s a winner. It’s not an unbirthday, however, exactly 60 years ago today, Disneyland park became a little more “mad” with the opening of the Alice in Wonderland attraction in Fantasyland. Since opening in 1958, this classic dark ride has immersed guests in the curiously wondrous world of Alice in Wonderland as they go down the rabbit hole on a journey to find the White Rabbit. This whimsical attraction is well-known for its use of color, optical illusions, and topsy-turvy design inspired by Disney’s classic 1951 animated film “Alice in Wonderland.” In fact, several of the people who worked on the film later joined WED Enterprises (now known as Walt Disney Imagineering) to help create shows and adventures for Disneyland park. Their knowledge of animation was used to create a vibrant experience within the attraction. For instance, Disney Legend Mary Blair worked on the color design of the original film, and Imagineers used actual animation cels from the film to precisely color match the attraction’s scenes, including the singing flowers. Even Kathryn Beaumont reprised her role as the voice of Alice from the film when the attraction was updated in the early 1980s. In 1984, the attraction was redesigned as part of the “new” Fantasyland remodel and reopened with a total of 24 new sculpted figures, along with updates to the animation, lighting and special effects. The attraction was once again updated in 2014 to incorporate new lighting effects and updates to the figures. The Alice in Wonderland attraction is unique to Disneyland park, however the characters and story have proved to be a rich source of inspiration for Disneyland Resort attractions and entertainment. Alice in Wonderland is represented more often than any other animated film in Fantasyland at Disneyland park. In addition to the Alice in Wonderland attraction, guests can go for a spin at the Mad Tea Party, shop in the cozy cottage of the Mad Hatter and see Alice’s village depicted in miniature from the Storybook Land Canal Boats and the Casey Jr. Circus Train. Tokyo Disney Resort announced yet another expansion project today! In addition to the ongoing Tokyo Disneyland development, including a “Beauty and the Beast”-inspired area and a “Big Hero 6” attraction, the resort will also expand Tokyo DisneySea in 2022 with an eighth port to include the Disney films “Frozen,” “Tangled” and “Peter Pan.” A new deluxe hotel with a one-of-a-kind luxury wing will also be connected to the port. Tokyo DisneySea is the only Disney theme park inspired by the myths and legends of the sea and is known to guests for its seven themed ports: Mediterranean Harbor, American Waterfront, Port Discovery, Lost River Delta, Arabian Coast, Mermaid Lagoon and Mysterious Island. This newest port will be themed to magical springs that lead to a world of Disney fantasy and will include four new attractions. Guests will discover the kingdom of Arendelle after the events in “Frozen,” once the kingdom has opened its gates to visitors. A heartwarming new attraction will take guests by boat to experience the story of Elsa and Anna while enjoying iconic songs from the hit film, and a new restaurant will be located inside Arendelle Castle. Another new area will invite guests into the charming forest where Rapunzel’s tower awaits. Guests can board gondolas for a romantic tour of Rapunzel’s “best day ever” as she journeys with Flynn to the lantern festival for an unforgettable finale. Also on the menu is a restaurant inspired by the hideout of the humorous band of thugs in the movie. Neverland will come to life for guests, including Captain Hook’s pirate ship and Skull Rock. The area will feature two new attractions and a restaurant inspired by the Lost Boys hideout. In the first attraction, guests will fly over the jungles of Neverland with Peter Pan to rescue Wendy’s younger brother, John, in a battle with Captain Hook. The second attraction will immerse guests in the world of Pixie Hollow where Tinker Bell and her fairy friends live. A new deluxe resort hotel will also open inside Tokyo DisneySea as part of this latest expansion plan. Themed to Disney fantasy, the hotel will rise above and around the magical springs of the new themed port, featuring 475 deluxe and luxury guest rooms, two restaurants and a merchandise shop. This new project marks another major step in the evolution of Tokyo Disney Resort, on the heels of the 35th Anniversary “Happiest Celebration!” and the ongoing Tokyo Disneyland development.
