It’s time to head back to Disneyland Resort to see What’s New! We found lots of construction — and related scrims — plenty of fun new merchandise, and a sweet cupcake! Sleeping Beauty Refurbishment Disneyland Resort Construction Sleeping Beauty Castle is still under scrims and scaffolding. There’s no end date for this refurbishment, but work includes repairs of damage to the castle roof from the park’s 60th celebration in 2015. Sleeping Beauty Refurbishment We also peeked through the construction walls and saw work being done on the walkways around the castle. We’ve gotten some pretty solid confirmation from cast members that the donut cart has been demolished and will not be returning, but that the donuts will still be on their same schedule — deliveries in the morning and at 5pm — and will be sold at Jolly Holiday instead of at the donut cart. Donut Cart Under Construction Down Main Street, U.S.A., Mad Hatter is also under construction. Mad Hatter Construction Signs let guests know the shop is open… for all head sizes. Mad Hatter Construction Over in Frontierland, Bonanza Outfitters is open despite a lot of exterior construction. It’s so colorful and… we can’t remember the word… oh: fun! Bing Bong’s Emotional Whirl Wind Peep those memories heading on over to Long Term! Bing Bong’s Emotional Whirl Wind Meanwhile work continues on the Pixar Pals Parking Structure. This is expected to open in summer 2019.
